Abstract
Thiazole scaffold-based small molecules exhibit a range of biological activities and play important roles in drug discovery. Based on bioinformatics analysis, a putative biosynthetic gene cluster (BGC) for thiazole-containing compounds was identified from Streptomyces sp. SCSIO 40020. Heterologous expression of this BGC led to the production of eight new thiazole-containing compounds, grisechelins E, F, and I-N (1, 2, 5-10), and two quinoline derivatives, grisechelins G and H (3 and 4). The structures of 1-10, including their absolute configurations, were elucidated by HRESIMS, NMR spectroscopic data, ECD calculations, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Grisechelin F (2) is a unique derivative, distinguished by the presence of a salicylic acid moiety. The biosynthetic pathway for 2 was proposed based on bioinformatics analysis and in vivo gene knockout experiments. Grisechelin E (1) displayed moderate antimycobacterial activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Ra (MIC of 8 μg mL-1).

Abstract
Objectives: This study aims to explore the clinical significance of lateral pelvic sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB) using indocyanine green (ICG) fluorescence navigation in laparoscopic lateral pelvic lymph node dissection (LLND) and evaluate the accuracy and feasibility of this technique to predict the status of lateral pelvic lymph nodes (LPLNs). Methods: The clinical and pathological characteristics, surgical outcomes, lymph node findings and perioperative complications of 16 rectal cancer patients who underwent SLNB using ICG fluorescence navigation in laparoscopic LLND in the Cancer Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College during April 2017 and October 2022 were retrospectively collected and analyzed. The patients did not receive preoperative neoadjuvant radiotherapy and presented with LPLNs but without LPLN enlargement (MRI showed the maximum short axes of the LPLNs were ≥5 mm and <10 mm at first visit). Results: All 16 patients were successfully performed SLNB using ICG fluorescence navigation in laparoscopic LLND. Three patients underwent bilateral LLND and 13 patients underwent unilateral LLND. The lateral pelvic sentinel lymph nodes (SLNs) were clearly fluorescent before dissection in 14 patients and the detection rate of SLNs for these patients was 87.5%. Lateral pelvic SLN metastasis was diagnosed in 2 patients and negative results were found in 12 patients by frozen pathological examinations. Among the 14 patients in whom lateral pelvic SLNs were detected, the dissected lateral pelvic non-SLNs were all negative. All dissected LPLNs were negative in two patients without fluorescent lateral pelvic SLNs. The specificity, sensitivity, negative predictive value, and accuracy was 85.7%, 100%, 100%, and 100%, respectively. Conclusions: This study indicates that lateral pelvic SLNB using ICG fluorescence navigation shows promise as a safe and feasible procedure with good accuracy. This technique may replace preventive LLND for locally advanced lower rectal cancer.

Abstract
For designing conductive polymer composites (CPCs), understanding how the fiber curvature affects the percolation behavior of curved conductive fibers is essential for determining the effective electrical conductivity σeff of the CPCs. In this work, CPCs were considered as a polymer matrix filled with the random packing of overlapped curved spherocylinders. The geometries of the curved spherocylinders were defined, and inter-curved spherocylinder contact-detecting and system-spanning fiber cluster searching algorithms were developed. The finite-size-scaling method was used to explore how the aspect ratio α and bending central angle θ of a curved spherocylinder affect the percolation threshold ϕc of an overlapped curved spherocylinder system in 3D space. The findings suggest that ϕc decreases as α increases and increases initially before declining as θ increases. An empirical approximation formula was proposed to quantify the effect of the curved spherocylinder's morphology, characterized by the dimensionless excluded volume Vdex of the curved spherocylinder, on ϕc. The new rigorous bound for ϕc of the soft-curved spherocylinder system was further proposed. A random resistor network model was constructed, and the reliability of this model was validated by comparing the simulations and published data. Finally, a fitting formula was developed to assess the impacts of the normalized reduced density (η - ηc)/ηc and Vdex on the σeff of CPCs. A distinct linear correlation between σeff and (η - ηc)/ηc was constructed, denoted as σeff ∼ [(η - ηc)/ηc]t(α,θ). An empirical approximation model was proposed to establish the relationship between the fiber shape and conductivity exponent t. Our study may provide a theoretical hint for the design of CPCs.

Abstract
Both droughts and tropical cyclones (TCs) are among the world's most widespread natural disasters. This paper is concentrated on the effects of TCs on the links between meteorological droughts (MDs) and agricultural droughts (ADs). Specifically, changes in characteristics of drought events and variations in propagation features of matched MD and AD event pairs are quantified by using the renowned three-dimensional connected components algorithm; both alleviation and exacerbation effects of TCs are evaluated; and the Spearman's correlation is employed to identify potential contributors to exacerbated droughts after TCs. The results show that TCs exhibit more pronounced and widespread alleviation effects on MD events compared to AD events. >98 % of small-scale drought events are terminated by TCs, leading to 65 % reduction in the total area of MD events smaller than 50,000 km2 and 32 % reduction in AD events of the same scale. In the meantime, TCs can reshape the spatiotemporal links between MDs and ADs by reducing the overall propagation rate from 77 % to 40 % and ameliorating the characteristics of drought event pairs with higher propagation efficiency, by >40 %. After TCs, over 55 % of drought exacerbations in TC-affected regions occur first in the vicinity of the residual large-scale AD events. This occurrence is partially associated with the reduction in moisture exports from these residual droughts downwind to the interior of TC-affected regions, a process potentially facilitated by the TC-induced temperature cooling. The in-depth evaluation of this paper presents useful information for better drought preparation and mitigation under TCs.

Abstract
The spatial and vertical distribution of 239+240Pu and 137Cs in the sediments of the Yellow River Delta was studied to evaluate the deposition dynamics in the Yellow River estuary from 1960s. The activity of 239+240Pu and 137Cs in sediment core ranged from 0.001 to 0.212 Bq/kg and 0.52-2.53 Bq/kg, respectively. A maximum accumulation peak and two secondary accumulation peaks appeared in the sediment core YR2. The average deposition rate of 8.3 cm/y for the Yellow River estuary from 1964 to 1976 was obtained. The proportion of Pu from the Yellow River net input and direct deposition to the total inventory of Pu in the estuary was assessed, with a total inventory of Pu in the abandoned estuary of 7.4 × 1010 Bq and a net input of 2.2 × 1010 Bq from the Yellow River. Pu deposited in the estuary only accounts for 18 % of the total Pu transported by the Yellow River, and most of the Pu is injected into the Bohai Sea with the Yellow River.

Abstract
Lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) is one of the leading causes of cancer-related death worldwide. Epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) plays an important role in malignant tumor progression. Recently, accumulating evidence has shown that autophagy is involved in the regulation of EMT-induced migration. Therefore, the exploration of targets to inhibit EMT by targeting autophagy is important. In this study, we found that OVO-like zinc finger 2 (OVOL2) may be a key target for regulating autophagy-induced EMT. Firstly, we found that OVOL2 expression was dramatically downregulated in LUAD. Low expression of OVOL2 is an indicator of poor prognosis in LUAD. In vitro experiments have shown that downregulation of OVOL2 expression induces EMT, thereby promoting malignant biological behavior, such as proliferation, migration, and invasion of LUAD cells. Interestingly, autophagy is a key step in regulating OVOL2 and inducing EMT. Furthermore, OVOL2 regulates autophagy through the MAPK signaling pathway, ultimately inhibiting the malignant progression of LUAD.

Abstract
In order to investigate the 239+240Pu potential influence in the ocean, and develop a new method for rapidly monitoring radioactive pollution, the 239+240Pu spatial distribution in the South China Sea (SCS) and the Indian Ocean (IND) sediments is analyzed by SF-ICP-MS (ELEMENT 2). The inventory-weighted mean activities of 239+240Pu were 0.413 ± 0.333 mBq/g, 0.128 ± 0.044 mBq/g, and 0.483 ± 0.606 mBq/g in the sediments of the SCS, eastern IND, and Arabian Sea, respectively. The 239+240Pu activity spatial distribution in the SCS sediments was influenced by the current, the vertical distribution of Pu in seawater, and the transport of particulate matter. The 239+240Pu activity spatial distribution in the IND sediments could be impacted by Antarctic Intermediate Water. The average of 240Pu/239Pu atomic ratios were 0.258 ± 0.034, 0.219 ± 0.031, and 0.212 ± 0.028 in the sediments of the SCS, eastern IND, and Arabian Sea, respectively. The 240Pu/239Pu atomic ratios in the SCS and IND indicate that Pu from the Pacific Proving Ground (PPG) is transported to the IND via the SCS internal current and transverse ocean currents within Indonesia. In addition, a seawater advection-dispersion equation (S-ADE) model is established based on the actual physical processes of radionuclides in the seawater column and well fitting results were obtained (R2 = 0.49 to 0.99). The 239+240Pu data and the geographic information from the sample site were used to correct the Pu distribution in the seawater. The calculated 239+240Pu mean concentrations in the surface seawater were 2.465 mBq/m3 and 2.205 mBq/m3 for the SCS and the eastern IND seawater, respectively, and the result is consistent with the previous measurements. Then, the 239+240Pu stored in the study area of SCS and eastern IND was estimated to be approximately 1.0-1.4% of the global ocean based on the model. This study provides a useful model for guiding and designing future monitoring of pollution by anthropogenic Pu and other isotopes.

Abstract
Smoking is one of the major risk factors for several chronic non-infectious diseases, including chronic respiratory diseases, cancers, cardiovascular diseases, and diabetes, which has become a major public health issue in China. Tobacco control is proven to be the most effective and cost-effective strategy to reduce the risk of smoking-related disease and premature death. From October 2022 to September 2023, several high quality studies on tobacco medicine have been published. This review systematically summarizes the representative studies in terms of epidemiological study, clinical study, mechanism study, and tobacco control progress. These studies further highlight the concept that "tobacco smoking is the main evil for disease and tobacco control is the main good for disease prevention", which will promote the development of tobacco medicine in China.

Abstract
Introduction Critically ill patients are more susceptible to malnutrition due to their severe illness. Moreover, elderly patients who are critically ill lack specific nutrition recommendations, with nutritional care in the intensive care units (ICUs) deplorable for the elderly. This study aims to investigate nutrition treatment and its correlation to mortality in elderly patients who are critically ill in intensive care units. Method A multiple-center prospective cohort study was conducted in China from 128 intensive care units (ICUs). A total of 1,238 elderly patients were included in the study from 26 April 2017. We analyzed the nutrition characteristics of elderly patients who are critically ill, including initiated timing, route, ways of enteral nutrition (EN), and feeding complications, including the adverse aspects of feeding, acute gastrointestinal injury (AGI), and feeding interruption. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to screen out the impact of nutrition treatment on a 28-day survival prognosis of elderly patients in the ICU. Result A total of 1,238 patients with a median age of 76 (IQR 70-83) were enrolled in the study. The Sequential Organ Failure (SOFA) median score was 7 (interquartile range: IQR 5-10) and the median Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation (APACHE) II was 21 (IQR 16-25). The all-cause mortality score was 11.6%. The percentage of nutritional treatment initiated 24 h after ICU admission was 58%, with an EN of 34.2% and a parenteral nutrition (PN) of 16.0% in elderly patients who are critically ill. Patients who had gastrointestinal dysfunction with AGI stage from 2 to 4 were 25.2%. Compared to the survivors' group, the non-survivors group had a lower ratio of EN delivery (57% vs. 71%; p = 0.015), a higher ratio of post-pyloric feeding (9% vs. 2%; p = 0.027), and higher frequency of feeding interrupt (24% vs. 17%, p = 0.048). Multivariable logistics regression analysis showed that patients above 76 years old with OR (odds ratio) 2.576 (95% CI, 1.127-5.889), respiratory rate > 22 beats/min, and ICU admission for 24 h were independent risk predictors of the 28-day mortality study in elderly patients who are critically ill. Similarly, other independent risk predictors of the 28-day mortality study were those with an OR of 2.385 (95%CI, 1.101-5.168), lactate >1.5 mmol/L, and ICU admission for 24 h, those with an OR of 7.004 (95%CI, 2.395-20.717) and early PN delivery within 24 h of ICU admission, and finally those with an OR of 5.401 (95%CI, 1.175-24.821) with EN delivery as reference. Conclusion This multi-center prospective study describes clinical characteristics, the mode and timing of nutrition treatment, frequency of AGI, and adverse effects of nutrition in elderly ICU patients. According to this survey, ICU patients with early PN delivery, older age, faster respiratory rate, and higher lactate level may experience poor prognosis.

Abstract
KEY MESSAGE BrFLS mutation promoted anthocyanin accumulation in Chinese cabbage, which was verified in four allelic mutants. Chinese cabbage is a major vegetable crop in Eastern Asia. Anthocyanin-rich vibrantly colored varieties are increasingly favored by consumers for their higher nutritional and aesthetic value compared to the typical green varieties of Chinese cabbage. Herein, we identified an anthocyanin accumulation mutant aam1 from a mutant library of EMS-mutagenized Chinese cabbage DH line 'FT', which appeared partial purple on leaves, bolting stems and floral buds. This anthocyanin accumulation trait was genetically controlled by a recessive nuclear gene, and through MutMap mapping and KASP genotyping, BraA10g030950.3C was identified as the candidate causal gene with a G202 to A202 non-synonymous SNP variation in exon 1. Three additional mutants allelic to aam1 were obtained via screening of similar-phenotype mutants from the mutant library, namely aam2/3/4, where the causal SNPs reside in the same gene as aam1, corroborating that the mutation of BraA10g030950.3C caused anthocyanin accumulation. BraA10g030950.3C encodes a flavonol synthase that catalyzes dihydroflavonols substrate into flavonols and is homologous to Arabidopsis FLS1 (AT5G08640), named BrFLS. Compared to wildtype, the expression level of BrFLS was significantly reduced in the mutants, while BrDFR, which is involved in the anthocyanin biosynthesis and competes with FLS for the common substrate dihydroflavonols, was increased. The flavonol synthase activity decreased, and dihydroflavonol 4-reductase activity was elevated. Differentially accumulated flavonoid metabolites were detected between wildtype and aam1, which were enriched primarily in flavonol and anthocyanin pathways. Our results revealed that mutations in the BrFLS gene could contribute to anthocyanin accumulation and provide a new target for Chinese cabbage color modification.

Abstract
The global manufacturing landscape is undergoing a profound shift, and the paradigm of service-led industrial evolution has taken on paramount importance. Service-oriented manufacturing has emerged as a pivotal conduit for the transformation and elevation of China's sporting goods manufacturing sector. However, we acknowledge that the current state of service-oriented transformation in this sector is still in an embryonic phase. The nuanced interplay between the level of servitization and its consequent impact on corporate performance, along with the intricate forms of interference exerted by various factors in the process of servitization, are shrouded in ambiguity. This article, which is predicated upon the financial disclosures of China's sporting goods manufacturing enterprises listed on the A-share and New Third Board markets, presents a rigorous investigation. Through the construction of an imbalanced panel dataset covering the period of 2007 to 2022, we embark on an empirical journey examining the intricacies of a moderated mediation model to ascertain the mechanisms underlying the influence of servitization on the performance of sporting goods manufacturing entities. Through this research, we unearth a compelling revelation: (1) Within the cohort of sampled enterprises, an elevation of servitization evokes a modest suppressive effect on corporate performance, thus resulting in the enigmatic "servitization paradox." (2) A total of 29.1% of the servitization impact on enterprise performance is achieved through marketing intensity; that is, there is a partial mediating effect of marketing intensity on the relationship between servitization and enterprise performance. (3) Market power play a negative regulatory role in this relationship, which drives the servitization paradox in sporting goods manufacturing but can also promote the positive impact of servitization on marketing intensity. In addition, with the expansion of market power, corporate servitization does not need to impact corporate performance through marketing activities. (4) R&D intensity negatively affects the relationship between marketing intensity and corporate performance, promotes the inhibitory effect of marketing intensity on corporate performance, and aggravates the inhibitory effect of servitization on corporate performance through marketing intensity.

Abstract
Hydration plays a crucial role in cement composites, but the traditional methods for measuring hydration heat face several limitations. In this study, we propose a machine learning-based approach to predict hydration heat at specific time points for three types of cement composites: ordinary Portland cement pastes, fly ash cement pastes, and fly ash-metakaolin cement composites. By adjusting the model architecture and analyzing the datasets, we demonstrate that the optimized artificial neural network model not only performs well during the learning process but also accurately predicts hydration heat for various cement composites from an extra dataset. This approach offers a more efficient way to measure hydration heat for cement composites, reducing the need for labor- and time-intensive sample preparation and testing. Furthermore, it opens up possibilities for applying similar machine learning approaches to predict other properties of cement composites, contributing to efficient cement research and production.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Excessive epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT) of nasal epithelial cells (NECs) play a prominent role in chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP) pathogenesis. Long intergenic non-coding RNA 01094 (LINC01094) was previously reported to be overexpressed in CRSwNP, while the regulatory mechanism by which LINC01094 regulates CRSwNP progression remains unclear. Our study aimed to investigate the role of LINC01094 in CRSwNP development. METHODS hNEC were isolated from tissues of controls and CRSwNP patients and stimulated with interleukin (IL)-13. 3-(4, 5-Dimethylthiazolyl2)-2, 5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay was employed to analyze hNEC viability. Flow cytometry was employed to analyze pyroptosis. Immunofluorescence was employed to analyze Snail nuclear translocation. The interactions between LINC01094, fused in sarcoma (FUS) and high mobility group box-1 (HMGB1) were analyzed by RNA immunoprecipitation (RIP) and RNA pull-down assays. RESULTS LINC01094 and EMT-related proteins were markedly upregulated in nasal polyp tissues of CRSwNP. LINC01094 knockdown inhibited IL-13-induced hNEC EMT and pyroptosis. LINC01094 promoted HMGB1 expression in CRSwNP by binding with FUS. HMGB1 promoted Snail nuclear import in GSK-B phosphorylation-dependent manner. CONCLUSION LINC01094 facilitated hNEC EMT and pyroptosis in CRSwNP by activating the HMGB1/GSK-B Snail axis, which suggested that LINC01094 might serve as a biomarker and therapeutic target in CRSwNP.

Abstract
Because adenomyosis (AM) ectopic primary cells are hard to come by, have a short lifespan, and the characteristics that alter over time, their utility in AM research is constrained. This study aimed to establish a line of immortalized human adenomyosis ectopic cell (ihAMEC) to change this situation. Primary cells were obtained from AM ectopic lesion tissue and then infected with Simian Vacuolating Virus 40 Tag (SV40 T) lentivirus and screened to establish immortalized cells. We verified the main features and found that the ihAMEC could be cultured for more than 50 generations and the proliferation ability of ihAMEC was more active than that of primary cells. The cytoskeleton and cell types of ihAMEC were similar to primary cells and maintained a normal karyotype. The expression of epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) markers, estrogen-metabolizing proteins, and estrogen/progesterone receptors in ihAMEC was similar to the expression seen in primary cells. In addition, the response of ihAMEC under estrogen treatment and Lipopolysaccharide intervention is similar to primary cells. The clonogenic ability of ihAMEC was lower than tumor cells and did not form tumors in tumorigenicity assays. Thus, ihAMEC can be used as in vitro cellular model for pathogenesis and drug development studies regarding AM.

Abstract
Methylammonium chloride (MACl) additive is almost irreplaceable in high-performance formamidine perovskite photovoltaics. Nevertheless, Some of the problems that can arise from adding MACl are rarely mentioned. Herein, it is proposed for the first time that the addition of MACl would cause the non-stoichiometric ratio in the perovskite film, resulting in the halogen vacancy. It is demonstrated that the non-synchronous volatilization of methylamine cations and chloride ions leads to the formation of halogen vacancy defects. To solve this problem, the NH4 HCOO is introduced into the perovskite precursor solution to passivate the halogen vacancy. The HCOO- ions have a strong force with lead ions and can fill the halogen vacancy defects. Consequently, the champion devices' power conversion efficiency (PCE) can be improved from 21.23% to 23.72% with negligible hysteresis. And the unencapsulated device can still retain >90% of the initial PCE even operating in N2 atmosphere for over 1200 h. This work illustrates another halogen defect source in the MACl-assisted formamidine perovskite photovoltaics and provides a new route to obtain high-performance perovskite solar cells.

Abstract
The electronic states of poly(9,9-dioctylfluorenyl-alt-bithiophene) pF8T2 on H/Si(100) substrates, prototypical for organic photovoltaics, were investigated by ultrafast photoelectron spectroscopy and by time-resolved fluorescence studies. Occupied and unoccupied electronic states were analysed by ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy (UPS), static and dynamic femtosecond two-photon photoemission (2PPE), and time-correlated single photon counting (TCSPC). Time-resolved measurements allow assessment of population lifetimes of intermediate states. The combination of time-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy and fluorescence excitation allows following the electronic dynamics in excited states from the femtosecond to the nanosecond time scale. For this prototypical material the electron kinetic energy resolved lifetimes range from about a few tens of femtoseconds up to hundreds of picoseconds. After annealing these types of organic thin films the efficiency of organic solar cells usually increases. We show that annealing does not influence the initial ultrafast charge generation processes, but the long-lived states. However, the nanosecond scale fluorescence lifetimes measured by TCSPC are prolonged after annealing, which therefore is identified as the cause of a greater exciton diffusion range and thus is beneficial for charge carrier extraction.

Abstract
Controlling the enantioselectivity of hydrogen atom transfer (HAT) reactions has been a long-standing synthetic challenge. While recent advances on photoenzymatic catalysis have demonstrated the great potential of non-natural photoenzymes, all of the transformations are initiated by single-electron reduction of the substrate, with only one notable exception. Herein, we report an oxidation-initiated photoenzymatic enantioselective hydrosulfonylation of olefins using a novel mutant of gluconobacter ene-reductase (GluER-W100F-W342F). Compared to known photoenzymatic systems, our approach does not rely on the formation of an electron donor-acceptor complex between the substrates and enzyme cofactor and simplifies the reaction system by obviating the addition of a cofactor regeneration mixture. More importantly, the GluER variant exhibits high reactivity and enantioselectivity and a broad substrate scope. Mechanistic studies support the proposed oxidation-initiated mechanism and reveal that a tyrosine-mediated HAT process is involved.

METHODS Administrative villages were sampled using a multi-stage cluster random sampling method from Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County, Gansu Province from 2007 to 2022, and all residents at ages of 12 years and older in the sampled villages were screened for echinococcosis, and schools were sampled using a cluster sampling method, and all children at ages of 12 years and older in the sampled schools were screened for echinococcosis. Domestic dogs were sampled using a systematic random sampling method, and one domestic dog stool sample was collected from each household. Stray dog stool samples were collected outside the villages, and Echinococcus coproantigens were detected using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay in domestic and stray dogs. In addition, echinococcosis was screened in sheep and cattle in designated slaughterhouses in Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County. The trends in the prevalence of echinococcosis in humans and livestock and the positive rate of Echinococcus coproantigens in dogs were examined with the Cochran-Armitage trend test. In addition, individuals screened for echinococcosis were randomly sampled from 2007 to 2022 for survey on the awareness of echinococcosis control knowledge. RESULTS A total of 290 356 person-times were screened for echinococcosis among residents at ages of 12 years and older in Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County, Gansu Province from 2007 to 2022, with 1 094 residents detected with cystic echinococcosis, and the detection of echinococcosis appeared a tendency towards a gradual decline over years (χ2 = 358.602, P < 0.001). Abstract
To examine the impact of ginger volatile oil (GVO) on the growth of MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells in the presence of bisphenol A (BPA) by modulating the diversity of gut microbiota. METHODS MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells were injected subcutaneously into the right armpit of female BALB/c Nude (nu/nu) mice to create a triple negative breast cancer model. Thirty nude mice were randomly divided into 5 groups: control group (distilled water every day), BPA control group (distilled PEG-400+ DMSO + cyclodextrin every day), BPA + GVO (0.25 mL/kg) group, BPA + GVO (0.5 mL/kg) group, BPA + GVO (1 mL/kg) group, 6 mice in each group; The drug was given by gavage once a day for 4 weeks. At the end of the experiment, the changes of tumor mass and tumor volume were observed and compared in 5 groups of tumor-bearing mice. High-throughput sequencing (16S rRNA) was used to detect the changes of gut microflora in each group. RESULTS The volume and weight of breast cancer decreased in the low, medium and high dose groups of GVO. Among them, the difference between the high-dose group and the BPA group reached a significant level (P < 0.05). The species and abundance of gut flora decreased following BPA treatment, but increased after combined treatment of BPA with GVO. In the tumor control group, the ratio of Firmicutes(F) and Bacteroidea(B) respectively was 0.10:0.79 at the phylum level, while the ratio of BPA group further decreased (0.04:0.88). After feeding GVO, the number of Firmicutes and Bacteroidea increased, the F/B ratio increased, and the level of Lactobacillus and alistipes increased. In the BPA and GVO treatment group, the predominant gut microflora functions are cell membrane biogenesis, carbohydrate transport and metabolism. This is followed by amino acid transport and metabolism, and transcription function. After GVO administration, the Gram-positive bacteria (G+) ratio had an increasing trend and the Gram-negative bacteria (G-)ratio had a decreasing trend. CONCLUSION The species and abundance of gut flora decreased following BPA treatment, but increased after combined treatment of BPA with GVO.

Abstract
We combine synchrotron-based infrared absorption and Raman scattering spectroscopies with diamond anvil cell techniques and first-principles calculations to explore the properties of hafnia under compression. We find that pressure drives HfO[Formula: see text]:7%Y from the mixed monoclinic ([Formula: see text]) [Formula: see text] antipolar orthorhombic ([Formula: see text]) phase to pure antipolar orthorhombic ([Formula: see text]) phase at approximately 6.3 GPa. This transformation is irreversible, meaning that upon release, the material is kinetically trapped in the [Formula: see text] metastable state at 300 K. Compression also drives polar orthorhombic ([Formula: see text]) hafnia into the tetragonal ([Formula: see text]) phase, although the latter is not metastable upon release. These results are unified by an analysis of the energy landscape. The fact that pressure allows us to stabilize targeted metastable structures with less Y stabilizer is important to preserving the flat phonon band physics of pure HfO[Formula: see text].

Abstract
BACKGROUND Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is an exceptionally immunosuppressive malignancy characterized by limited treatment options and a dismal prognosis. Macrophages constitute the primary and heterogeneous immune cell population within the HCC microenvironment. Our objective is to identify distinct subsets of macrophages implicated in the progression of HCC and their resistance to immunotherapy. METHODS Intratumoral macrophage-specific marker genes were identified via single-cell RNA sequencing analyses. The clinical relevance of phospholipase A2 Group VII (PLA2G7), a pivotal enzyme in phospholipid metabolism, was assessed in patients with HCC through immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence. Flow cytometry and an in vitro co-culture system were used to elucidate the specific role of PLA2G7 in macrophages. Orthotopic and subcutaneous HCC mouse models were employed to evaluate the potential of the PLA2G7 inhibitor in complementing immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) therapy. RESULTS Single-cell RNA sequencing analyses disclosed predominant PLA2G7 expression in intratumoral macrophages within the HCC microenvironment. The macrophage-specific PLA2G7 was significantly correlated with poorer prognosis and immunotherapy resistance in patients with HCC. PLA2G7high macrophages represent a highly immunosuppressive subset and impede CD8 T-cell activation. Pharmacological inhibition of PLA2G7 by darapladib improved the therapeutic efficacy of anti-programmed cell death protein 1 antibodies in the HCC mouse models. CONCLUSIONS Macrophage-specific PLA2G7 serves as a novel biomarker capable of prognosticating immunotherapy responsiveness and inhibiting PLA2G7 has the potential to enhance the efficacy of ICB therapy for HCC.
