Abstract
Sepsis is a life-threatening disease in the intensive care unit (ICU). The current diagnostic criteria for sequential organ failure assessment (SOFA) scores do not reflect the current understanding of sepsis. We developed a novel and convenient score to aid early prognosis.Retrospective multivariable regression analysis of 185 infected emergency ICU (EICU) patients was conducted to identify independent variables associated with death, to develop the new "STAPLAg" score; STAPLAg was then validated in an internal cohort (n = 106) and an external cohort (n = 78) and its predictive efficacy was compared with that of the initial SOFA score.Age, and initial serum albumin, sodium, PLR, troponin, and lactate tests in the emergency department were independent predictors of death in infected EICU patients, and were used to establish the STAPLAg score (area under the curve [AUC] 0.865). The initial SOFA score on admission was predictive of death (AUC 0.782). Applying the above categories to the derivation cohort yielded mortality risks of 7.7% for grade I, 56.3% for grade II, and 75.0% for grade III. Internal (AUC 0.884) and external (AUC 0.918) cohort validation indicated that the score had good predictive power.The STAPLAg score can be determined early in infected EICU patients, and exhibited better prognostic capacity than the initial SOFA score on admission in both internal and external cohorts. STAPLAg constitutes a new resource for use in the clinical diagnosis of sepsis and can also predict mortality in infected EICU patients. REGISTRATION NUMBER:: ChinCTR-PNC-16010288.

Abstract
Gastric cancer is one of the most prevalent malignant tumors worldwide. Immunological checkpoint inhibitors of the programmed death 1 (PD-1)/programmed cell death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) signaling pathway are effective in the treatment of various malignant tumor types, but the potential of such immunotherapeutic techniques for the treatment of gastric cancer is yet to be elucidated. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the methylation of the PD-L1 gene promoter and its clinical significance in advanced gastric cancer, as this may suggest the use of PD-L1 promoter methylation as a novel biomarker for gastric cancer progression. In a total of 70 samples, the methylation rate of the PD-L1 gene promoter region was significantly higher in gastric cancer tissues compared with adjacent tissues. A high level of PD-L1 promoter methylation was associated with lymph node staging, and resulted in poorer prognoses in patients with advanced gastric cancer. A total of 26 patients exhibited highly methylated PD-L1; in this group, the median progression-free survival time of patients receiving platinum/fluorouracil chemotherapy was 4.2 months longer than those receiving paclitaxel/fluorouracil chemotherapy, and the risk of disease progression in patients receiving paclitaxel/fluorouracil chemotherapy was 5.009 times higher compared with patients who received platinum/fluorouracil chemotherapy. Additionally, PD-L1 promoter methylation was significantly correlated with PD-L1 expression, and the progression of advanced gastric cancer. In conclusion, high methylation levels of the PD-L1 promoter region may be a faciliatory mechanism enabling gastric cancer tumorigenesis, and may also represent an independent prognostic factor for chemotherapeutic efficacy in patients with advanced gastric cancer.

Abstract
Complex reconstruction skills in advanced head and neck cancer (HNC) could resolve the key problem of large defects after tumor resection. We combined the anterolateral thigh free flap, fascia lata flap, and greater saphenous vein graft in the reconstruction process of salvage surgery. Seven patients suffering from advanced HNC who experienced the failure of multiple therapeutic methods were enrolled in our study between June 2017 and January 2018. They all agreed to voluntarily undergo the tumor excision and complex reconstruction procedure we developed. The total flap size ranged from 20 × 13 cm to 30 × 15 cm. The length of the greater saphenous vein graft ranged from 4 to 11 cm. The hospitalization period ranged from 7 to 33 days. All of the flaps were viable, but in 1 patient, oral flap edge infection and necrosis necessitated partial debridement on day 7 postoperatively. All donor sites were closed primarily. We report our experience with this surgical method for complex reconstruction in advanced HNC patients.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Decreased homotopic connectivity of brain networks such as the cortico-striato-thalamo-cortical (CSTC) circuits may contribute to the pathophysiology of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). However, little is known about interhemispheric functional connectivity (FC) at rest in OCD. In this study, the voxel-mirrored homotopic connectivity (VMHC) method was applied to explore interhemispheric coordination at rest in OCD. METHODS Forty medication-free patients with OCD and 38 sex-, age-, and education level-matched healthy controls (HCs) underwent a resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging. The VMHC and support vector machine (SVM) methods were used to analyze the data. RESULTS Patients with OCD had remarkably decreased VMHC values in the orbitofrontal cortex, thalamus, middle occipital gyrus, and precentral and postcentral gyri compared with HCs. A combination of the VMHC values in the thalamus and postcentral gyrus could optimally distinguish patients with OCD from HCs. CONCLUSIONS Our findings highlight the contribution of decreased interhemispheric FC within and outside the CSTC circuits in OCD and provide evidence to the pathophysiology of OCD.

Abstract
Abnormal functional connectivity (FC) within discrete brain networks is involved in the pathophysiology of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) with inconsistent results. In the present study, we investigated the FC patterns of 40 drug-naive patients with OCD and 38 healthy controls (HCs) through an unbiased voxel-wise global brain FC (GFC) analysis at rest. Compared with HCs, patients with OCD showed decreased GFC within the default mode network (DMN) (i.e., left posterior cingulate cortex/lingual gyrus) and sensorimotor network (i.e., left precentral gyrus/postcentral gyrus) and increased GFC within the executive control network (ECN) (i.e., left dorsal lateral prefrontal cortex and left inferior parietal lobule). Receiver operating characteristic curve analyses further indicated that the altered GFC values within the DMN, ECN, and sensorimotor network may be used as neuroimaging markers to differentiate patients with OCD from HCs. These findings indicated the aberrant FC patterns of the DMN, ECN, and sensorimotor network associated with the pathophysiology of OCD and provided new insights into the changes in brain organization function in OCD.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Epirubicin is a potent chemotherapeutic agent for the treatment of breast cancer. However, it may lead to cardiotoxicity and cardiomyopathy, and no reliable biomarker was available for the early prediction of epirubicin-induced cardiomyopathy. METHODS Global gene expression changes of peripheral blood cells were studied using high-throughput RNA sequencing in three pair-matched breast cancer patients (patients who developed symptomatic cardiomyopathy paired with patients who did not) before and after the full session of epirubicin-based chemotherapy. Functional analysis was conducted using gene ontology and pathway enrichment analysis. RESULTS We identified 13 significantly differentially expressed genes between patients who developed symptomatic epirubicin-induced cardiomyopathy and their paired control who did not. Among them, the upregulated Bcl-associated X protein was related to "apoptosis," while the downregulated 5'-aminolevulinate synthase 2 (ALAS2) was related to both "glycine, serine, and threonine metabolism" and "porphyrin and chlorophyll metabolism" in pathway enrichment analysis. CONCLUSIONS ALAS2 and the metabolic pathways which were involved may play an important role in the development of epirubicin-induced cardiomyopathy. ALAS2 may be useful as an early biomarker for epirubicin-induced cardiotoxicity detection.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Microscopic structures of the ossification centres of the odontoid process were studied from the micro-computed tomography (CT) images of the axis, and the potential influence of the ossification centres with different microscopic structures on odontoid process fractures was analysed. MATERIALS AND METHODS Eighteen odontoid process specimens were randomly collected and scanned by micro-CT. The obtained images were then input into the software for further observation and measurement. Incomplete absorption of the ossification centres in the base was observed, along with the anatomic structure of the regions with incomplete ossification and structural parameters of the trabecular bones. RESULTS The microscopic structures of the trabecular bones in the ossification centres in the base of the odontoid process could be clearly visualised from the micro-CT images. Among the 18 odontoid process specimens, 11 specimens were found with incomplete absorption of the ossification centres in the axis, the prevalence reaching up to 61%. Regions with incomplete ossification varied in size and morphology, and their three-dimensional morphology was predominantly oval. Of all structural parameters examined for the trabecular bones, there were only significant differences in the degree of anisotropy between the regions with incomplete absorption of ossification centres and the average vertebral trabecular bones (p < 0.05). CONCLUSIONS Incomplete absorption of the ossification centres in the base of the odontoid process is a relatively prevalent condition. The cavitation effect of the trabecular bones may be the primary cause for odontoid process fractures.

Abstract
A bifunctional squaramide catalyzed enantioselective formal [2 + 4] annulation reaction with 3-nitro-3,4-dihydrocoumarins and ortho-quinone methide has been developed. Novel chiral masked quaternary α-amino acid derivatives with a 3,4-dihydrocoumarin scaffold are obtained in a highly stereocontrolled manner. Representative transformation of the annulation product to a biologically important quaternary α-amino acid derivative is achieved without any appreciable loss in the diastereo- and enantioselectivity.

Abstract
tRNA-derived small RNAs (tsRNAs) have been shown to play regulatory roles in many physiological and pathological processes. However, their roles in hypertrophic scars remain unclear. The present study investigated differentially expressed tsRNAs in human hypertrophic scar fibroblasts and normal skin fibroblasts via high-throughput sequencing. Several dysregulated tsRNAs were validated by reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR). Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathway enrichment, target prediction, coexpression networks and competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) networks were evaluated to discover the principal functions of significantly differentially expressed tsRNAs. In total, 67 differentially expressed tsRNAs were detected, of which 27 were upregulated and 40 downregulated in hyper-trophic scar fibroblasts. The GO analysis indicated that the dysregulated tsRNAs are associated with numerous biological functions, including 'nervous system development', 'cell adhesion', 'focal adhesion', 'protein binding', 'angiogenesis' and 'actin binding'. KEGG pathway analysis revealed that the most altered pathways include 'Ras signaling pathway', 'Rap1 signaling pathway' and 'cGMP-PKG signaling pathway'. The target genes of the differentially expressed tsRNAs participate in several signaling pathways important for scar formation. The results of RT-qPCR were consistent with those of sequencing. MicroRNA (miR)-29b-1-5p was identified as a target of tsRNA-23678 and was downregulated in hypertrophic scar fibroblasts, constituting a negative regulatory factor for scar formation. Furthermore, tsRNA-23761 acted as a ceRNA and bound to miR-3135b to regulate the expression of miR-3135b targets, including angiotensin-converting enzyme. Collectively, these findings reveal that tsRNAs are differentially expressed in human hypertrophic scar fibroblasts, and may contribute to the molecular mechanism and treatment of hypertrophic scars.

Abstract
Background Data are lacking about the extent of drug-related problems in hospitalized patients with COPD in China. Objective Identify types and causes of drug-related problems and assess interventions performed by pharmacists. Setting Study was conducted in an academic teaching hospital in Shanghai, China. Method Between June 2017 and July 2018, 393 patients admitted to hospital for acute exacerbation of COPD hospitalized were enrolled. Patient demographics and clinical characteristics were collected. The drug-related problems and interventions were recorded and analyzed based on the Pharmaceutical Care Network Europe (PCNE)-DRP V 8.02 classification. Main outcome measures The number, types, causes, interventions, and outcomes of the problems were analyzed. Results A total of 640 DRPs, with 763 corresponding causes, were identified for 393 patients. "Treatment safety P2" was the most common type of problem (54.2%; 347/640), and the most common causes were "drug selection C1" (24.2%; 185/763), "dose selection C3" (21.5%; 164/763) and "treatment duration C4" (17.7%; 135/763). Antibiotics, corticosteroids, and proton pump inhibitors were the three primary medication classes associated with DRPs. Patients, hospitalized for more than eight days, taking ten or more drugs or having renal dysfunctions were more likely to have drug-related problems. Pharmacists totally proposed 1557 interventions to address the problems. Most interventions (91.0%; 1418/1557) were accepted, and 91.6% of the problems were solved. Conclusion The prevalence of drug-related problems among the studied COPD patients was high. Pharmacists can have an important role in addressing the problems and optimizing the safety and effectiveness of therapies for hospitalized COPD patients.

Abstract
Benefiting from the continuously clarifying underlying biology of immune checkpoints and ligand–receptor interactions, the emergence of new anticancer treatment strategy, immunotherapy has shown substantial benefits on several liquid and solid tumors. Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) can block the negative regulatory components and enhance the T cell function, thus leading to prominent anticancer activity. On account of their promising effect on various malignancies shown in clinical trials, ICIs have been considered to be the most potent anticancer agents in the near future. Head and neck cancer is the seventh most common neoplasm worldwide, and the gross 5-year survival rate was only 60%. Managing locoregionally advanced, recurrent, or metastatic head and neck tumors is still a challenging problem for both oncologists and surgeons. Recent clinical trials employing the immune-modulating antibodies that target cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated antigen-4 (CTLA-4) and programmed cell death 1 (PD-1) herald a new era of anticancer therapy. However, like all other anticancer drugs, ICIs also have side effects while upregulating the immune system to enhance antitumor response, which were known as immune-related adverse events (irAEs). Generally, most irAEs were transient, but sometimes they can cause serious organ dysfunction, even fatal. In addition, due to the distinct anatomical feature, advanced head and neck tumors often affect the upper aerodigestive tract and cause serious dyspnea or dysphagia. Toxicities of ICIs may be more lethal for such patients. Thus, with the increasing application of anti-checkpoint agents in head and neck cancer, there is urgent need to ascertain the safety of this novel treatment strategy. Here, we compile this review of existing clinical trials on the toxicity of ICIs during cancer treatment. The particular clinical manifestation, characteristics of complication development in fatal cases, and the management strategies were discussed. This may provide vital information for future oncology trials and clinical practice.

Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the influence of voice disorders on children's quality of life through the parental version of pediatric voice-related quality of life(pVRQOL). Method:Three hundred and eighty-six children from August 2017 to December 2018 were enrolled in this study. A total of 214 parents of children had voice disorders(dysphonic group), and 172 parents of children were without voice disorders(control group). Both groups were filled out the questionnaire containing the parental version of pVRQOL. Result:① The most common disease in children with voice disorder was vocal fold nodule, and boys were more susceptible to voice disorder than girls(71.5%, 28.5%); ②In dysphonic group, the scores of total(91.40±8.63, 97.94±4.23), physiology and function(87.55±10.98, 96.99±6.10), social emotion(98.86 ±3.29, 99.73±1.08) were lower than those in control group(P<0.01); ③In dysphonic group, there was a correlation between the parents' overall evaluation of the children's voice quality and the three dimensions of the parental version of pVRQOL(total: r=-0.398, P<0.01, physical function: r=-0.448, P<0.01, social-emotion: r=-0.125, P<0.05). Conclusion:Voice disorders could cause a negative impact on children's voice related quality of life. pVRQOL could be applied to assess the voice-related quality of life in children with voice disorders.

Abstract
The aim of the study is to explore whether monocyte-to-lymphocyte ratio (MLR) provides predictive value of the severity in patients with Klebsiella pneumonia infection (KPI).Patients in a tertiary medical center with Klebsiella pneumonia infection from 2014 to 2017 were recruited in this study. Patients with Klebsiella pneumonia infection were stratified into two groups based on the National Early Warning Score (NEWS). MLR was calculated by dividing monocytes count by lymphocytes count obtained from routine blood examination. The area under the curve (AUC) values was determined using the receiver-operating characteristic (ROC) curve. The correlation between the variables was tested with Pearson or Spearman correlation analysis. Ordinal logistic regression analysis was used to assess the relationship between MLR and the severity of Klebsiella pneumonia infection.One hundred fifty-two patients were finally enrolled for analysis. Among those, 43 (28.29%) cases had severe KPI. MLR was found to be an independent risk factor of the serious Klebsiella pneumonia infection (OR: 23.74, 95% CI: 5.41-104.11, P < .001). Besides, MLR was positively correlated with NEWS score (r = 0.57, P < .001). In the receiver-operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis, MLR, with an optimal cut-off value of 0.665, predicted the severe coronary lesion with a sensitivity of 79.4% and specificity of 84.4%.MLR was an independent predictor of the severe Klebsiella pneumonia infection. Compared with neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), MLR has a better performance to evaluate the severity of Klebsiella pneumonia infection.

Abstract
Objective:The aim of this study is to investigate the voice function change in patients who underwent total thyroidectomy between preoperative and the third day postoperative, Taking the result data to explore methods for voice protection and be valuable for clinical diagnose and treatment. Method:Three hundred and fifth-three patients with thyroid papillary carcinoma without preoperative vocal dysfunction were treated with total thyroidectomy and single or bilateral central cervical lymph node dissection. At preoperative and the third day postoperative, videostroboscopic, acoustic analysis, voice handicap index 10(VHI-10)are measured. Result: At the third day postoperative, 294 (83.29%)patients have voice symptoms,the most common voice disorder is hoarseness in 105 cases (35.71%),phonasthenia in 78 cases(26.53%),unable speak louderly in 53 cases (18.03%), unable speak high-pitch in 24 cases (8.16%), unable speak low-pitch in 29 cases (9.86%), pronunciation leakage in 5 cases (1.70%). Videostroboscopic examinations are normal in all patients at the third day postoperative. The total score of VHI-10, Physiology(P), Emotion(E) dimensions in VHI-10 between preoperative and the third day postoperative are statistically significant (P<0.05). For male patients, the acoustic analysis (fundamental frequency, Harmonicto Noise Ratio, Shimmer and Maximum phonation time) are statistically significant between preoperative and the third day postoperative (P<0.05). For female patients, acoustic analysis (fundamental frequency, Harmonicto Noise Ratio, Shimmer, Jitter and Maximum phonation time) are statistically significant between preoperative and the third day postoperative (P<0.05). Conclusion:These patients who underwent total thyroidectomy with bilateral or unilateral central partment lymph node dissection may develop voice complications even their recurrent laryngealnerve be undamaged during the surgery. Changes in surgery and voice may cause changes in the patient's psychology, suggesting that clinicians need to have adequate communication between doctors and patients before surgery, pay attention to the patient's voice quality and psychological changes, and give positive intervention.

Abstract
To investigate the characteristics of recurrent branchial cleft anomalies (BCAs) and to evaluate the surgical technique and outcomes of patients undergoing reoperation.From January 2005 to August 2018, the clinical data of 216 patients with recurrent second, third, and fourth BCAs were retrospectively analyzed. According to the embryological and anatomical features of the cleft palate and recurrence site, selective neck dissection techniques were used for surgical treatment.Among all 216 patients, 203 healed by primary healing. Twelve patients with local infections and 1 patient with a pharyngeal fistula healed after dressing changes. Eleven patients experienced transient hoarseness and recovered after a few months. Three patients developed permanent hoarseness, and 5 patients developed coughing after eating and drinking. Three patients underwent internal jugular vein ligation. Only 4 recurrences occurred during a follow-up period of more than 1 year. The total cure rate was 98.15%.Selective neck dissection is an effective and safe surgical treatment for recurrent second, third, and fourth branchial cleft anomalies.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Default-mode network (DMN) plays a key role in the pathophysiology of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). However, the network homogeneity (NH) of DMN in OCD remains equivocal. OBJECTIVE This study aimed to investigate abnormalities in the NH of the DMN at rest and the correlation between the NH of DMN and clinical variables in patients with OCD. METHODS This study used the independent component analysis and unbiased hypothesis-driven NH method to analyze the resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging data of 40 drug-naive patients with OCD and 40 age-, gender-, and education-matched healthy controls (HCs). RESULTS Patients with OCD exhibited decreased NH values in the left ventral medial prefrontal cortex and bilateral posterior cingulate cortex (PCC)/precuneus (PCu) compared with HCs. Furthermore, analyses of receiver operating characteristic curves indicated that the decreased NH values in the right PCC/PCu may be used as a candidate neuroimaging marker to distinguish patients with OCD from HCs. CONCLUSION These findings contribute new evidence of the participation of the altered NH of the DMN in the pathophysiology of OCD. Abstract
BACKGROUND Simultaneous tracheal and esophageal reconstruction after tumor resection is a great challenge. Here we present an innovative operative technique to simultaneously reconstruct tracheal and esophageal defects, in which a free posterior tibial artery perforator flap was made into a free bipaddled flap to cover both tracheal and esophageal defects. METHODS A free bipaddled posterior tibial artery perforator flap was utilized to conduct simultaneous tracheal and esophageal reconstruction for a 72-year-old female patient with papillary thyroid carcinoma and massive trachea and esophagus invasion, who underwent radical resection. RESULTS Satisfactory breathing and swallowing functions were gained independent of nasal feeding and tracheotomy. Voice was still hoarse due to tumor invasion of left recurrent laryngeal nerve. During a period of 2-year follow-up, no sign of tumor recurrence was observed. CONCLUSION A free bipaddled posterior tibial artery perforator flap could be a decent choice for simultaneous reconstruction of large tracheal and esophageal defects.

Abstract
Sulfidation of nanoscale zerovalent iron (nZVI) has attracted increasing interest for improving the reactivity and selectivity of nZVI towards various contaminants, such as aqueous Cr(VI) removal. However, the benefits derived from sulfide modification that govern the removal of Cr(VI) remains unclear, which was studied in this work. S-nZVI with higher S/Fe molar ratio showed higher surface area, the discrepancy between the surface-area-normalized removal capacity of Cr(VI) by S-nZVI with different S/Fe indicated that the removal of Cr(VI) was also affected by other factors, such as electron transfer ability, surface-bounded Fe(II) species, and surface charges. High specific surface area would provide more active site for Cr(VI) removal, and as an efficient electron conductor, acicular-like FeSx phase would also favor electron transfer from Fe0 core to Cr(VI). Low initial pH also enhanced the Cr(VI) removal, and the Cr(VI) removal capacity by S-nZVI and nZVI was not affected by aging process, these results confirmed that the Fe(II) species also played an important role in the Cr(VI) removal. Other influence factors were also investigated for potential application, including temperature, initial Cr(VI) concentration, ionic strength, and co-existed ions. The removal mechanism of Cr(VI) by S-nZVI involved the sulfide modification to increase the specific surface area and provide more active sites, the corrosion of Fe0 to produce surface-bounded Fe(II) species to adsorb Cr(VI) species, followed by the favored reduction of Cr(VI) to Cr(III) due to the electron transfer ability of FeSx, then the formation of Cr(III)/Fe(III) hydroxides precipitates.

Abstract
Multicompartmental microparticles (MCMs) have attracted considerable attention in biomedical engineering and materials sciences, as they can carry multiple materials in the separated phases of a single particle. However, the robust fabrication of monodisperse, highly compartmental MCMs at the micro- and nanoscales remains challenging. Here, a simple one-step and oil-free process, based on the gas-flow-assisted formation of microdroplets ("gas-shearing"), is established for the scalable production of monodisperse MCMs. By changing the configuration of the needle system and gas flow in the spray ejector device, the oil-free gas-shearing process easily allows the design of microparticles consisting of two, four, six, and even eight compartments with a precise control over the properties of each compartment. As oils and surfactants are not used, the gas-shearing method is highly cytocompatible. The versatile applications of such MCMs are demonstrated by producing a magnetic microrobot and a biocompatible carrier for the coculturing of cells. This research suggests that the oil-free gas-shearing strategy is a reliable, scalable, and biofriendly process for producing MCMs that may become attractive materials for biomedical applications.

Abstract
Ambient particulate matter pollution has posed serious threats to global environment and public health. However, highly efficient filtration of submicron particles, the so-named "secondary pollution" caused by, e.g., bacterial growth in filters and the use of nondegradable filter materials, remains a serious challenge. In this study, poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) and konjac glucomannan (KGM)-based nanofiber membranes, loaded with ZnO nanoparticles, were prepared through green electrospinning and ecofriendly thermal cross-linking. Thus obtained fibrous membranes not only show highly efficient air-filtration performance but also show superior photocatalytic activity and antibacterial activity. The filtration efficiency of the ZnO@PVA/KGM membranes for ultrafine particles (300 nm) was higher than 99.99%, being superior to that of commercial HEPA filters. By virtue of the high photocatalytic activity, methyl orange was efficiently decolorized with a removal efficiency of more than 98% at an initial concentration of 20 mg L-1 under 120 min of solar irradiation. A multifunctional membrane with high removal efficiency, low flow resistance, superior photocatalytic activity, and superior antibacterial activity was successfully achieved. It is conceivable that the combination of a biodegradable polymer and an active metal particle would form an unprecedented photocatalytic system, which will be quite promising for environmental remediation such as air filtration and water treatment.
