Abstract
Here we present an updated systematic review identifying studies published 2019-2024, since our prior systematic review in 2020, that examine the association between minority stress and a biological outcome among sexual and gender minority (SGM) people. Pubmed, Web of Science, and Embase were queried to identify studies that examined an association between minority stress (including prejudice events and conditions, anticipation of rejection and discrimination, concealment or disclosure of SGM identity(ies), internalized stigma, or structural stigma) and a biological health outcome among SGM people. Included studies were coded for methodological approaches, study population, minority stress measure, biological outcomes, count of overall analyses, and count of analyses where an association was detected. Fifty-nine studies met inclusion criteria and included a total of 391 analyses between an element of minority stress and a biological outcome, among which 38% of analyses detected an association (44% detected this association when study outliers were removed). All elements of minority stress demonstrated associations with outcomes: multicomponent measures, prejudice events and conditions, and structural stigma demonstrated the highest proportion of associations. Associations with minority stress were detected for general physical health, sleep, immune, cardiovascular, metabolic, hormonal, brain health, allostatic load, epigenetic and transcriptional regulation. The highest proportion of associations were detected among sleep, immune, cardiovascular, and hormonal outcomes. These studies evidence associations between minority stress and biological outcomes among gender minority people in addition to evidence among sexual minority people. Future research should consider increasing rigor in methodology and expanding our understanding of moderators and mediators of these relationships.

Abstract
Being trans is stigmatized and can make it difficult to fit into the job market in South Korean society. This study explored trans individuals' job-seeking experience and the impact of gender identity on their career choices and development using a qualitative approach. In-depth interviews were conducted with 20 trans adults with job-seeking experiences who were recruited through purposive and snowball sampling in South Korea. Ten subthemes were identified in three overarching themes: (a) limiting myself in job search; (b) challenges in the job application and interview process; and (c) having a desire to build a meaningful career. Participants limited their choices for employment in favor of gender-neutral jobs or trans-inclusive work environments. In the job-seeking process, they faced challenges due to society's rigid binary gender roles and the negative stereotypes about trans identities. Despite stress and identity-related conflict, participants expressed a desire to overcome challenges, build a meaningful career, and flourish at work without compromising their gender identity. This study highlights the experiences of trans individuals in their job-seeking journey. Psychosocial interventions and career support services could help trans individuals in the job-seeking process by identifying their unique challenges to employment and providing assistance to cope with stigma and oppression.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION For most people, gender identity is consistent with biological sex and such people are called cisgender. People in whom such a relationship does not occur or occurs to a lesser extent are referred to as gender non-conforming-and these include transgender, non-binary, agender and gender-fluid people. These individuals are usually affected by minority stress, which, combined with the circumstances of the pandemic and Russian aggression against Ukraine, may have led to mental disorders and sleep disorders in this population. The aim of the study was to analyze the symptoms of anxiety, depression and insomnia in a group of Polish youth during the Covid-19 pandemic and the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, taking into consideration gender differences, including non-binary gender. METHODS The study involved 1621 secondary school students aged 14 to 19, the average age was 16.73 ± 1.35, including 857 girls, 690 boys and 74 people who defined their gender as non-binary. A set of questionnaires for the Diagnosis of Depression in Children (CDI 2), the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI), the X-1 subscale, The Athens Insomnia Scale (AIS) and an original questionnaire of sociodemographic data were used in research. RESULTS Analyzing the results obtained in the study group, the respondents scored an average of 17.99 ± 9.55 points in the assessment of depressive symptoms. After division into groups taking into account gender, the corresponding score was 19.69 ± 9.40 points for girls, 15.03 ± 8.68 for boys and 25.86 ± 9.91 for non-binary people. The difference was statistically significant (p = 0.000) in all three study groups. In the anxiety symptoms assessment, the respondents scored an average of 46.92 ± 11.67 points. After division into gender groups, the corresponding score was 49.21 ± 11.12 points for girls, 43.39 ± 11.47 for boys and 53.39 ± 10.41 for non-binary people. The difference was statistically significant (p = 0.000) in all three study groups. Analyzing the results obtained in The Athens Insomnia Scale (AIS), the average score was 8.31 ± 4.58 points, which allows to evaluate sleep onset as a norm. After dividing into groups, the results were 8.95 ± 4.55 points, respectively for girls, 7.19 ± 4.21 points for boys and 11.35 ± 5.43 for non-binary people, the difference was significant in terms of comparisons between all statistically tested groups. The analysis of the relationships between the studied variables was presented for each gender separately. Statistically significant positive correlations were found between the results obtained on the scale assessing depressive symptoms (CDI-2) and anxiety symptoms (STAI-X1) and the results obtained on the AIS scale. CONCLUSIONS Among the studied group of teenagers, the highest intensity of depressive symptoms is demonstrated by non-binary people, followed by females, and finally by males. Similar results were obtained in the assessment of anxiety symptoms. The non-binary group achieved results indicating sleep disorders, while the cisgender group's results of sleep onset were borderline normal. Whatsmore, the greater the severity of depressive and anxiety disorders, the greater the sleep disorders in all study groups, regardless of gender.

Abstract
ABSTRACT During adolescence major shifts in sleep and circadian systems occur with a notable circadian phase delay. Yet, the circadian influence on pain during early adolescence is largely unknown. Using 2 years of data from the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development study, we investigated the impact of chronotype on pain incidence, moderate-to-severe pain, and multiregion pain 1 year later in U.S. adolescents. Based on the Munich ChronoType Questionnaire, chronotype was calculated as the midpoint between sleep onset and offset on free days, corrected for sleep debt over the week. Adolescents reported pain presence over the past month, and if present, rated pain intensity (0-10 numerical rating scale; ≥ 4 defined as moderate-to-severe pain) and body site locations (Collaborative Health Outcomes Information Registry Body Map; ≥2 regions defined as multiregion pain). Three-level random intercept logistic regression models were specified for each pain outcome, adjusting for baseline sociodemographic and developmental characteristics. Among 5991 initially pain-free adolescents (mean age 12.0 years, SD 0.7), the mean chronotype was 3:59 am (SD 97 minutes), and the 1-year incidence of pain, moderate-to-severe pain, and multiregion pain was 24.4%, 15.2%, and 13.5%, respectively. Each hour later chronotype at baseline was associated with higher odds of developing any pain (odds ratio [OR] = 1.06, 95% confidence interval [CI] = 1.01, 1.11), moderate-to-severe pain (OR = 1.10, 95% CI = 1.05-1.17), and multiregion pain (OR = 1.08, 95% CI = 1.02-1.14) during 1-year follow-up. In this diverse U.S. adolescent sample, later chronotype predicted higher incidence of new-onset pain.

Abstract
Purpose of Review To summarize the literature on neurologic care for transgender and gender-diverse (TGD) people and provide implications for clinical practice. Recent Findings There are limited data on the frequency and management of neurologic conditions among TGD people. TGD people have a higher prevalence of various neurologic conditions compared with cisgender or general population cohorts, including migraine, subjective cognitive decline, sleep disturbances, functional disorders, and cerebrovascular disease. Gender-affirming hormone therapy interacts with commonly prescribed neurologic medications and increases stroke risk among transfeminine people. Sex hormones and sex chromosomes may play a role in neurodegeneration and disability progression in neuroimmunologic diseases. Clitoral reduction surgeries on intersex children can cause neurologic disability and sexual dysfunction in adulthood. Socioeconomic disparities among TGD people contribute to health care barriers. Summary Neurologists should consider the unique experiences and health care needs of TGD people in their clinical practice and research protocols.

Abstract
Sexual and gender minority (LGBT+) people face unique health disparities that must be considered by health-care providers to ensure equitable and inclusive care. Although traditionally LGBT+ health has not been integrated into neurology training, sexual orientation and gender identity have direct relevance to neurological health, driven by both systemic and interpersonal factors. In this Review, we summarize the evidence for associations between sexual orientation and gender identity with the prevalence and outcomes of various neurological conditions, including neurodegenerative diseases, epilepsy, stroke and neurodevelopmental disorders, among others. We describe important clinical considerations pertaining to LGBT+ people and recommend language and practices to promote inclusive care, as well as highlight gaps in need of further research and possible strategies to minimize these, including systematic collection of sexual orientation and gender identity and use of inclusive language.

Abstract
In this qualitative study, we explored the challenges that transgender and gender non-confirming (TGNC) individuals face in South Korea. For this, we conducted in-depth interviews with 14 South Korean TGNC younger adults attending colleges or graduate schools and analyzed their data through consensus qualitative research. Analyses revealed that issues related to interpersonal relationships and medical transiting were major challenges perceived by participants. Four categories emerged in the domain of challenges in interpersonal relationships, including issues associated with family, romantic partner, coming out and outing, and transphobia and cisnormativity. In addition, two categories (i.e., medical difficulties and physical appearance-related distress) were included in the domain of challenges related to medical transition. Unique sources of stress for South Korean TGNC younger adults included high risk of being outed due to Korean resident registration numbers, dissatisfaction with bodily changes when transitioning, and misgendering caused by Korean's different honorific titles depending on gender.

Abstract
Background In Korea, little research has focused on the relationship between discrimination in the workplace and sleep health. Thus, this study aims to investigate the association between such discriminatory experiences and insomnia, a common sleep disorder, using Korean employees' data. Methods This study used data from the 6th Korea Working Conditions Survey. Discrimination experiences due to age, ethnic background, nationality, race, sex, religion, disability, sexual orientation, educational level, hometown, and employment status were investigated. The Minimal Insomnia Symptom Scale estimated insomnia symptoms. The association between discrimination experience and insomnia symptoms were analyzed using survey-weighted logistic regression analysis. Results Based on experiences of discrimination over the past 12 months, insomnia symptoms were associated with discrimination experience due to religion (odds ratio [OR]: 3.70; 95% confidential interval [CI]: 1.58-8.69), sex (OR: 2.51; 95% CI: 1.87-3.37), age (OR: 2.30; 95% CI: 1.88-2.81), hometown (OR: 2.07; 95% CI: 1.44-2.97), employment status (OR: 1.69; 95% CI: 1.37-2.10), and educational level (OR: 1.67; 95% CI: 1.31-2.14). Furthermore, the prevalence of insomnia symptoms increased with the number of discrimination experiences. Conclusions In this study, discrimination experiences due to religion, sex, age, hometown, employment status, and educational level were significantly associated with insomnia symptoms. Furthermore, as the number of discrimination experiences increased, so did the prevalence of insomnia. Preventing workplace discrimination may improve workers' sleep health.
