Abstract
Cancer remains a significant global health challenge, driving the development of advanced platforms for highly targeted and efficient drug delivery. Early-stage nanocarriers, such as synthetic polymeric and inorganic materials, face limitations in biocompatibility and biodegradability. In contrast, bioinspired nanocarriers derived from natural biomacromolecules mimic biological processes and present a promising alternative due to their biocompatibility, biodegradability and non-toxicity. The effectiveness of these drug delivery systems is influenced by factors such as size, shape, surface properties, morphology, functionalization, and preparation methods. Various biomacromolecule-inspired nanocarriers such as protein-based, lipid-based, carbohydrate-based and nucleic acid-based are now at the forefront of research. This review highlights the properties, advantages and limitations of different bioinspired materials. We also explore cutting-edge approaches for cancer therapy using these nanocarriers with recent in-vitro, in-vivo and patent evidence. Finally, we address the challenges and potential solutions associated with bioinspired nanocarriers, proposing future directions. Overall, this review explores nature-inspired drug delivery systems that have paved the way for advancements in cancer therapy.

Abstract
Cancer stands as a leading cause of mortality globally. The main female-related malignancies are breast cancer, with 2.3 million new cases annually, and ovarian cancer, with 300,000 new cases per year worldwide. The current treatments like surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy have presumably had deficiencies in sustaining long-term anti-tumor responses. Cellular immunotherapy, also referred to as adoptive cell therapy, has shown encouraging advances by employing genetically modified immune cells in fighting cancer by engineering chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) mainly on T cells and natural killer (NK) cells. Studies in NK cell therapies involve unmodified NK cells and CAR-NK cell therapies, targeting cancer cells while limiting the destruction of normal cells. CAR-NK cells represent the next generation of therapeutic immune cells that have been shown to eliminate malignancies through CAR-dependent and CAR-independent mechanisms. They also represent possible candidates for "off-the-shelf" therapies due to their advantages, including the ability to target cancer cells independently of the major histocompatibility complex, reduced risk of alloreactivity, and fewer severe toxicities compared to CAR-T cells. To date, there have been no comprehensive review studies examining the therapeutic potential of CAR-NK cell therapy specifically for female-related malignancies, such as breast and ovarian cancers. This review offers a thorough exploration of CAR-NK cell therapy in relation to these cancers and their responses to treatment.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Ambient air pollution is a serious public health issue that may influence reproductive health, including fertility and menopause onset in women worldwide. Thus, understanding the risk factors associated with early menopause is crucial to inform women about potential health risks and guide public health interventions. METHODS We collected data from KHANES (The Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey) at the Korean Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Ministry of Health and Welfare between 2010 and 2020. These data were linked with summary pollution data from AiMS-CREATE (AI-Machine Learning and Statistics Collaborative Research Ensemble for Air Pollution, Temperature, and All Types of Environmental Exposures) from 2002 to 2020. These summary data encapsulate the monthly average air pollution predictions for 226 si-gun-gu (cities, counties, and districts) in Korea. A total of 8506 participants who had experienced menopause (early menopause: 40-44 years, N = 341; normal menopause: ≥ 45 years, N = 8165) between 2002 and 2020 were included in the analysis. We employed survey logistic regression analyses to determine the associations between ambient air pollution and menopause after adjusting for covariates. RESULTS An association was observed between particulate matter 2.5 (PM2.5) and early menopause (adjusted survey logistic regression (aOR): 1.26, 95% confidence interval (CI): 1.21-1.31), between particulate matter 10 (PM10) and early menopause (aOR: 1.17, 95% CI: 1.14-1.20). CONCLUSION Our findings suggest that exposure to ambient air pollution may contribute to the onset of menopause, emphasizing the importance of addressing air quality as a public health priority. This study highlights the need for further research to explore the underlying mechanisms and long-term health impacts of environmental factors associated with early menopause.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy is an innovative diagnostic technique for improving early detection and personalized care for breast cancer patients. It allows rapid and accurate analysis of biological samples. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to assess the diagnostic accuracy of FT-IR spectroscopy for breast cancer, based on a comprehensive literature review. METHODS An online electronic database systematic search was conducted using PubMed/Medline, Cochrane Library, and hand databases from March 28, 2024, to April 10, 2024. We included peer-reviewed journal articles in which FT-IR spectroscopy was used to acquire data on breast cancers and manuscripts published in English. All eligible studies were assessed using the Quality Assessment of Diagnostic Accuracy Studies (QUADAS) tool. RESULTS Serum, breast biopsies, blood plasma, specimen, and saliva samples were included in this study. This study revealed that breast cancer diagnosis using FT-IR spectroscopy with diagnostic algorithms had a sensitivity and specificity of approximately 98 % and 100 %, respectively. Almost all studies have used more than one algorithm to analyze spectral data. This finding showed that the sensitivity of FT-IR spectroscopy reported in six included studies was greater than 90 %. CONCLUSION Employing multivariate analysis coupled with FT-IR spectroscopy has shown promise in differentiating between healthy and cancerous breast tissue. This review revealed that FT-IR spectroscopy will be the next gold standard for breast cancer diagnosis. However, to draw definitive conclusions, larger-scale studies, external validation, real-world clinical trials, legislative considerations, and alternative methods such as Raman spectroscopy should be considered.

Abstract
Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) account for 74% of worldwide deaths annually. A search in 'Google Scholar' and 'PubMed' showed a total of 224,854 articles and after adjusting for time period and relevance, 43 were selected. Cancer, cardiovascular diseases (CVDs), respiratory diseases and diabetes were the most prevalent NCDs among females. Cancer-related deaths in females are expected to rise to 5.5 million by 2030, and hormonal factors, smoking, alcohol consumption and obesity are the biggest contributors. CVD deaths were 8.94 million in 2019, and poor pregnancy outcomes and fertility issues increase females' CVD risk. Respiratory diseases affect 6.16% young females and smoking, a high BMI, and high processed food intake, increase the risk. Diabetes effects 9% women and hormonal factors increase the risk, whereas psychosocial factors may impact diabetes prevention and treatment. The female NCD burden is increasing and there is a need for multi-interventional approach to effectively manage these diseases.

Abstract
Metformin, initially prescribed as an oral hypoglycemic medication for type 2 diabetes, has recently gained attention for its potential anticancer effects. Its history dates to 1918, when guanidine, a component of the traditional European herb Galega officinalis, was found to reduce glycemia. This review precisely examines the mechanisms underlying Metformin's anticancer effects across various neoplastic conditions. This investigation explores the complex interactions between metformin and major signaling pathways associated with carcinogenesis, including AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK), mTOR, and insulin-like growth factor (IGF) pathways. The review emphasizes Metformin's diverse effects on angiogenesis, inflammation, apoptosis, and cellular metabolism in cancer cells. Additionally, new data on metformin's capacity to alter the tumor microenvironment and enhance immune surveillance systems against cancer are examined. The review underscores Metformin's potential for repurposing in oncology, emphasizing its clinical relevance as an adjuvant therapy for various cancers. The review provides insightful information about the complex anticancer mechanisms of metformin by combining data from preclinical and clinical studies. These findings not only broaden our knowledge of the effects of metformin but also open new avenues for oncology research and treatment developments.

Abstract
Background/Objective: The study aimed to evaluate disease acceptance and quality of life in women with breast cancer before and after receiving neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Methods: The study included 211 women diagnosed with breast cancer who underwent neoadjuvant treatment. The following measures were utilized: the EORTC QLQ-C30 and QLQ-BR23 modules for quality of life assessment, the Acceptance of Illness Scale (AIS) questionnaire for evaluating disease acceptance, and a proprietary questionnaire. Assessments were conducted one week before the first chemotherapy session and three weeks after completing the chemotherapy. Statistical analysis was performed using STATISTICA v. 13. Results: The respondents exhibited an average acceptance of their disease, both before (28.2 pts) and after chemotherapy (25.5 pts). A decline in disease acceptance was observed in nearly 59.2% of the patients following chemotherapy. Higher levels of disease acceptance were associated with a better quality of life. The quality of life for the studied women decreased after neoadjuvant chemotherapy, particularly in the following areas: physical functioning (p = 0.0000), social functioning (p = 0.0000), body image assessment (p = 0.0000), sexual satisfaction (p = 0.0000), nausea and vomiting (p = 0.0000), fatigue (p = 0.0000), loss of appetite (p = 0.0000), insomnia (p = 0.0000), pain (p = 0.0000), hair loss (p = 0.0000), and side effects of systemic treatment (p = 0.0000). Conclusions: Post-neoadjuvant chemotherapy, a decline in disease acceptance and quality of life was observed among women with breast cancer in comparison with their pre-treatment status. Higher levels of disease acceptance were associated with a better quality of life. These findings may facilitate the creation of a more tailored care approach for women during and after chemotherapy.

Abstract
In this study we evaluated the interaction of cinchonine (Cin) and immunoglobulin G (IgG). Then, Cin-IgG nanoparticles (NPs) were synthesized and characterized. Finally, the anticancer effects of free Cin and Cin-IgG NPs on MCF-7 breast cancer (BC) cells were evaluated. The results of spectroscopy measurements show that the IgG-Cin complex's quenching mechanism is static and the structure of IgG was partially changed following interaction with Cin. The prepared Cin-IgG NPs display a hydrodynamic size of 190 nm with a PDI of 0.269, a zeta potential of -38.05 mV, an EE% of 72.38 %, a LC% of 5.41 %, and a pH-sensitive drug release behavior. In the cellular assay, it was found that the calculated IC50 concentrations of Cin, IgG NPs, and Cin-IgG NPs are 66.4 ± 5.39, >100, and 29.2 ± ± 4.11 μM, respectively, in MCF-7 BC cells. Finally, Cin-IgG NPs induce a greater effect on the overexpression of the Bax/Bcl-2 ratio and downregulation of PI3K/p-AKT compared to the free drug. In conclusion, this study shows that Cin has the potential to bind IgG as a human plasma protein, and its complexation into a NP form with IgG can boost its anti-BC effects.

Abstract
Despite significant progress in the field of human breast cancer research and treatment, there is a consistent increase in the incidence rate of 0.5 percent annually, posing challenges in the development of effective novel therapeutic strategies. The failure rate of drugs in clinical trials stands at approximately 95%, primarily attributed to the limitations and lack of reliability of existing preclinical models, such as mice, which do not mimic human tumor biology. This article examines the potential utility of canine mammary tumors as an adjunct preclinical model for investigating human breast cancer. Given the numerous similarities between canine and human breast cancer, canines present a promising alternative model. The discussion delves into the intricate molecular and clinical aspects of human breast cancer and canine mammary tumors, shedding light on the tumors' molecular profiles, identifying specific molecular markers, and the application of radiological imaging modalities. Furthermore, the manuscript addresses the current constraints of preclinical cancer studies, the benefits of using canines as models, and the obstacles linked to the canine mammary tumors model. By concentrating on these elements, this review aims to highlight the viability of canine models in enhancing our understanding and management of human breast cancer.

Abstract
Tumor budding has been proposed as a potential prognostic marker in various cancers, but its association with survival outcomes in breast cancer (BC) remains unclear. This meta-analysis aimed to clarify the relationship between tumor budding and survival outcomes in patients with BC. A comprehensive literature search was conducted in PubMed, EMBASE, and Web of Science. Cohort studies examining the association between tumor budding and overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS) in BC patients were included. Hazard ratios (HRs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were pooled using a random-effects model to account for potential heterogeneity. Eleven cohort studies, including 2,828 patients, met the inclusion criteria. High tumor budding was significantly associated with poorer OS (HR = 1.89, 95% CI = 1.37-2.60, P < 0.001) and PFS (HR = 1.89, 95% CI = 1.32-2.71, P < 0.001). Subgroup analyses revealed a stronger association in studies where high tumor budding was defined as ≥ 10 buds / high-power field (HPF) compared to those with lower cutoffs. Sensitivity analyses confirmed the robustness of the findings. This meta-analysis demonstrates that high tumor budding is associated with significantly worse OS and PFS in BC patients, underscoring its prognostic significance. These findings suggest tumor budding could be a valuable marker in clinical assessments, and further research is needed to standardize its evaluation criteria in BC.

Abstract
Tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) promote tumor advancement in many ways, such as inducing angiogenesis and the formation of new blood vessels that provide tumors with nourishment and oxygen. TAMs also facilitate tumor invasion and metastasis by secreting enzymes that degrade the extracellular matrix and generating pro-inflammatory cytokines that enhance the migration of tumor cells. TAMs also have a role in inhibiting the immune response against malignancies. To accomplish this, they release immunosuppressive cytokines such as IL-10, and TAMs can hinder the function of T cells and natural killer cells, which play crucial roles in the immune system's ability to combat cancer. The role of TAMs in breast cancer advancement is a complex and dynamic field of research. Therefore, TAMs are a highly favorable focus for innovative breast cancer treatments. This review presents an extensive overview of the correlation between TAMs and breast cancer development as well as its role in the tumor microenvironment (TME) shedding light on their impact on tumor advancement and immune evasion mechanisms. Notably, our study provides an innovative approach to employing nanomedicine approaches for targeted TAM therapy in breast cancer, providing an in-depth overview of recent advances in this emerging field.

Abstract
African American (AA) women confront distinct disparities in breast cancer rates, and the impact of their living environment is unclear. This study aimed to examine the association between breast cancer incidence and environmental factors among a high-risk female population. The study recruited 355 AA women ages 20-88 in Memphis from 2016-2018. Their addresses were geocoded and linked to environmental and socioeconomic data. The final dataset contained 50 cases and 157 controls. Associations between breast cancer incidence and social and environmental factors were examined using logistic regression. Spatial analysis in ArcGIS showed that cases clustered in Southwest Memphis. Proximity to traffic and Superfund sites had odds ratios of 1.636 (95% CI: 25 1.046, 2.560) and 12.262 (95% CI: 1.814, 82.864), respectively. Mediating analyses further revealed that environmental inequities contributed significantly to breast cancer inequalities. In conclusion, the built environment plays a role in breast cancer onset among AA females.

Abstract
Despite recent advancements in technology, breast cancer still poses a significant threat, often resulting in fatal consequences. While early detection and treatments have shown some promise, many breast cancer patients continue to struggle with the persistent fear of the disease returning. This fear is valid, as breast cancer cells can lay dormant for years before remerging, evading traditional treatments like a game of hide and seek. The biology of these dormant breast cancer cells presents a crucial yet poorly understood challenge in clinical settings. In this review, we aim to explore the mysterious world of dormant breast cancer cells and their significant impact on patient outcomes and prognosis. We shed light on the elusive role of the G9a enzyme and many other epigenetic factors in breast cancer recurrence, highlighting its potential as a target for eliminating dormant cancer cells and preventing disease relapse. Through this comprehensive review, we not only emphasise the urgency of unravelling the dynamics of dormant breast cancer cells to improve patient outcomes and advance personalised oncology but also provide a guide for fellow researchers. By clearly outlining the clinical and research gaps surrounding dormant breast cancer cells from a molecular perspective, we aim to inspire further exploration of this critical area, ultimately leading to improved patient care and treatment strategies.

Abstract
Breast cancer risk factors include lifestyle, genetic-hormonal influences, and viral infections. Human papillomavirus (HPV), known primarily as the etiological agent of cervical cancer, also appears active in breast carcinogenesis, as evidenced in our study of 56 patients from northeastern Brazil. We assessed the clinical and sociodemographic characteristics, correlating them with various breast cancer tumor types. HPV detection involved amplifying the L1 region, with viral load measured using the E2/E6 ratio and viral activity indicated by E5 oncogene expression. Predominantly, patients over 56 years of age with healthy lifestyles showed a high incidence of invasive ductal carcinoma and triple-negative breast cancer. HPV was detected in 35.7% of cases, mostly HPV16, which is associated with high viral loads (80 copies per cell) and significant E5 expression. These results hint at a possible link between HPV and breast carcinogenesis, necessitating further studies to explore this association and the underlying viral mechanisms.

Abstract
Recent advances in cancer research have unveiled a significant yet previously underappreciated aspect of oncology: the presence and role of intratumoral microbiota. These microbial residents, encompassing bacteria, fungi, and viruses within tumor tissues, have been found to exert considerable influence on tumor development, progression, and the efficacy of therapeutic interventions. This review aims to synthesize these groundbreaking discoveries, providing an integrated overview of the identification, characterization, and functional roles of intratumoral microbiota in cancer biology. We focus on elucidating the complex interactions between these microorganisms and the tumor microenvironment, highlighting their potential as novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets. The purpose of this review is to offer a comprehensive understanding of the microbial dimension in cancer, paving the way for innovative approaches in cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Abstract
Novel anticancer drugs of natural origin have increased tremendously due to the resistance of multiple chemotherapeutic drugs in breast cancer therapy and their high toxicity with undesirable side effects. The study investigates the bioactivity of secondary metabolites derived from Bacillus cereus PSMS6 isolated from marine soil sediment in the Velar estuary, Parangepattai, Cuddalore district, Tamil Nadu, and India. Strains were isolated and antagonistic activity was screened using the agar well diffusion method. B. cereus PSMS6 exhibited potency, and its crude extract was tested for antioxidant, anticancer, and cytotoxic MTT assay potential. The methanolic extract of B. cereus PSMS6 was analyzed by mass spectrometry HRLC-MS and FT-IR to determine the bioactive compounds. A drug interaction study with the anti-breast cancer protein HER2 was performed by molecular docking analysis. Antioxidant activities were determined using total antioxidant scavenging assay, ABTS and DPPH free radical scavenging assays. The total antioxidant scavenging assay of the crude extract of B. cereus methanol had an IC50 value of 28.33±1.01, in ABTS IC50 value of the extract was 29.00±0.28 and in DPPH the IC50 of the extract was 34.91±0.09. The negative ion compound Palmitoylglycerone phosphate had a LibDock score of 149.487 and the positive ion compound N5-(4-Methoxybenzyl) glutamine had 120.116. These compounds show promising anticancer activity. The current study reported that the bioactive secondary metabolite of B. cereus PSMS6 retains anti-cancer, and antioxidant properties. This is the first report to show the production of the Palmitoylglycerone phosphate metabolite from B. cereus PSMS6.

Abstract
Neratinib, a typical small-molecule, pan-human tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI), has been licensed for the treatment of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-positive breast cancer. However, the underlying pharmacological mechanism is still unknown. In the current study, we report a novel function of Neratinib by showing that its treatment stimulates senescence of the mammary cancer AU565 cells. Our results demonstrate that Neratinib induces mitochondrial injury by increasing mitochondrial reactive oxygen species (ROS) and reducing intracellular adenosine triphosphate (ATP). Also, we found that Neratinib induced DNA damage by increasing the levels of 8-Hydroxy-desoxyguanosine (8-OHdG) and γH2AX in AU565 cells. Additionally, Neratinib reduced the levels of telomerase activity after 7 and 14 days incubation. Importantly, the senescence-associated-β-galactosidase (SA-β-Gal) assay revealed that Neratinib stimulated senescence of AU565 cells. Neratinib decreased the gene levels of human telomerase reverse transcriptase (hTERT) but increased those of telomeric repeat-binding factor 2 (TERF2) in AU565 cells. Further study displayed that Neratinib upregulated the expression of K382 acetylation of p53 (ac-K382) and p21 but reduced the levels of sirtuin-1 (SIRT1). However, overexpression of SIRT1 abolished the effects of Neratinib in cellular senescence. These findings provide strong preclinical evidence of Neratinib's treatment of breast cancer.

Abstract
Background Breast cancer continues to be a significant global health issue, necessitating advancements in prevention and early detection strategies. This review aims to assess and synthesize research conducted from 2020 to the present, focusing on breast cancer risk factors, including genetic, lifestyle, and environmental aspects, as well as the innovative role of artificial intelligence (AI) in prediction and diagnostics. Methods A comprehensive literature search, covering studies from 2020 to the present, was conducted to evaluate the diversity of breast cancer risk factors and the latest advances in Artificial Intelligence (AI) in this field. The review prioritized high-quality peer-reviewed research articles and meta-analyses. Results Our analysis reveals a complex interplay of genetic, lifestyle, and environmental risk factors for breast cancer, with significant variability across different populations. Furthermore, AI has emerged as a promising tool in enhancing the accuracy of breast cancer risk prediction and the personalization of prevention strategies. Conclusion The review highlights the necessity for personalized breast cancer prevention and detection approaches that account for individual risk factor profiles. Abstract
Breastfeeding has emerged as a critical factor in understanding and potentially mitigating the risk of breast cancer among women. This review delves into the intricate relationship between breastfeeding and breast cancer, elucidating the biological mechanisms, protective effects, and broader implications for public health. Epidemiological evidence consistently demonstrates a correlation between breastfeeding and a reduced risk of breast cancer, with longer durations of lactation showing a dose-dependent decrease in risk. The biological nexus between breastfeeding and breast cancer involves hormonal changes and the elimination of potentially damaged cells, influencing breast tissue and potentially mitigating carcinogenesis. Moreover, breastfeeding appears to impact tumor subtypes and aggressiveness, particularly demonstrating associations with lower risks of hormone receptor-negative and certain aggressive breast cancer subtypes. Recognizing the significance of breastfeeding in reducing breast cancer risk has profound public health implications, necessitating comprehensive support, education, and policies to encourage and facilitate breastfeeding.

Abstract
The impact of dietary saturated fatty acids (SFAs) on breast cancer risk may vary depending on their carbon chain lengths, attributable to the discrepancy in their dietary sources and biological activities. The associations between SFA subgroups classified by chain length and breast cancer risk remain controversial. In this case-control study, we aimed to investigate the association between the dietary intake of SFA subgroups, classified by chain lengths, and odds of breast cancer in China. This study included 1661 cases of breast cancer (confirmed as primary and histologically) and 1674 frequency-matched controls. Face-to-face interviews were used to collect basic information, while dietary intake information was obtained by a food frequency questionnaire. The unconditional logistic regression model was used to calculate the odds ratios (ORs) and 95% confidence intervals (95% CIs). All SFA subgroups were inversely associated with odds of breast cancer. The adjusted ORs (95% CIs) were 0.78 (0.61-0.99) for medium-chain SFAs, 0.50 (0.31-0.83) for long even-chain SFAs, 0.69 (0.54-0.88) for long odd-chain, and 0.67 (0.48-0.95) for very long-chain SFAs, respectively. In the restricted cubic spline (RCS) models, a non-linear M-shaped association was observed between long odd-chain SFAs and odds of breast cancer (Pnon-linearity = 0.007). However, the associations of medium-chain SFAs, long even-chain SFAs, and very long-chain SFAs did not reach statistical significance (Pnon-linearity > 0.05). No significant interactions were observed between all these four subgroups of SFAs and menopausal status or BMI. Our findings emphasize the significance of elucidating the associations of dietary SFAs according to chain lengths, providing insights into the etiology as well as the potential benefits of SFA-rich food intake in reducing the risk of breast cancer. Further prospective cohort studies and intervention studies are warranted to confirm these findings and identify the underlying mechanisms of the association between dietary SFAs and breast cancer.

Abstract
Tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-2 (TIMP-2) is an endogenous inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinase-2 and is highly expressed in breast cancer (BC) cases at diagnosis. However, the genetic investigations for the association of TIMP-2 genotypes with BC risk are rather limited. In this study, contribution of TIMP-2 rs8179090, rs4789936, rs2009196 and rs7342880 genotypes to BC risk was examined among Taiwan's BC population. TIMP-2 genotypic profiles were revealed among 1232 BC cases and 1232 controls about their contribution to BC using a PCR-based RFLP methodology. The TIMP-2 rs8179090 homozygous variant CC genotype was significantly higher in BC cases than controls (odds ratio (OR) = 2.76, 95% confidence interval (95%CI) = 1.78-4.28, p = 0.0001). Allelic analysis showed that C allele carriers have increased risk for BC (OR = 1.39, 95%CI = 1.20-1.62, p = 0.0001). Genotypic together with allelic analysis showed that TIMP-2 rs4789936, rs2009196 or rs7342880 were not associated with BC risk. Stratification analysis showed that TIMP-2 rs8179090 genotypes were significantly associated with BC risk among younger (≤55) aged women, not among those of an elder (>55) age. Last, rs8179090 genotypes were also associated with triple negative BC. This study sheds light into the etiology of BC in Taiwanese women. Rs8179090 may be incorporated into polygenic risk scores and risk prediction models, which could aid in stratifying individuals for targeted breast cancer screening.
