Abstract
The molecular receptor status of breast cancer has implications for prognosis and long-term metastasis. Although metastatic luminal B-like, hormone-receptor-positive, HER2−negative, breast cancer causes brain metastases less frequently than other subtypes, though tumor metastases in the brain are increasingly being detected of this patient group. Despite the many years of tried and tested use of a wide variety of anti-hormonal therapeutic agents, there is insufficient data on their intracerebral effectiveness and their ability to cross the blood-brain barrier. In this review, we therefore summarize the current state of knowledge on anti-hormonal therapy and its intracerebral impact and effects on the blood-brain barrier in breast cancer.

Abstract
BackgroundPucotenlimab, also called HX008, is a humanized anti-PD-1 antagonist IgG4 mAb. It blocks programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1), programmed-death ligand 1 (PD-L1), and programmed death ligand-2 (PD-L2). In the CBCSG 006 trial, gemcitabine plus cisplatin (GP) has shown impressive antitumor activity as first-line therapy for metastatic triple-negative breast cancer (mTNBC). The phase 1b study was conducted to assess the safety and preliminary antitumor activity of pucotenlimab when combined with GP in patients with mTNBC in the first-line setting.MethodsEligible patients with mTNBC with ≥6 months of DFI (disease-free interval) who have never received antitumor therapy for metastatic disease were screened. Participants received pucotenlimab at 3 mg/kg (d1, q3w) plus gemcitabine at 1,250 mg/m2 (d1, 8, q3w) and cisplatin at 75 mg/m2 (d1, q3w). Eligible patients received up to six cycles of pucotenlimab along with GP chemotherapy, while pucotenlimab could be maintained until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity occurred or withdrawal of informed consent. This study was registered in China under registration number CTR20191353.ResultsBetween July 2019 and March 2020, 31 patients were enrolled in this study. The median age was 50 (range 28–68) years. Among 31 patients who were evaluated, 25 (80.6%) experienced objective response and the other six (19.4%) experienced stable disease (SD). As of 4 August, the median progression-free survival (PFS) was 9.0 months (95% CI, 6.2–9.2). The most common grade 3 or 4 treatment-related adverse events included neutropenia (74.1%), anemia (35.5%), thrombocytopenia (32.3%), hypocalcemia (9.7%), hypokalemia (9.7%), and alanine aminotransferase increased (6.5%). There were no treatment-related deaths.ConclusionPucotenlimab plus GP demonstrated promising activity and a manageable safety profile in patients with mTNBC in the first-line setting.

Abstract
This publication reviews the current evidence supporting the imaging approach of the axilla in various scenarios with broad differential diagnosis ranging from inflammatory to malignant etiologies. Controversies on the management of axillary adenopathy results in disagreement on the appropriate axillary imaging tests. Ultrasound is often the appropriate initial imaging test in several clinical scenarios. Clinical information (such as age, physical examinations, risk factors) and concurrent complete breast evaluation with mammogram, tomosynthesis, or MRI impact the type of initial imaging test for the axilla. Several impactful clinical trials demonstrated that selected patient's population can received sentinel lymph node biopsy instead of axillary lymph node dissection with similar overall survival, and axillary lymph node dissection is a safe alternative as the nodal staging procedure for clinically node negative patients or even for some node positive patients with limited nodal tumor burden. This approach is not universally accepted, which adversely affect the type of imaging tests considered appropriate for axilla. This document is focused on the initial imaging of the axilla in various scenarios, with the understanding that concurrent or subsequent additional tests may also be performed for the breast. The American College of Radiology Appropriateness Criteria are evidence-based guidelines for specific clinical conditions that are reviewed annually by a multidisciplinary expert panel. The guideline development and revision include an extensive analysis of current medical literature from peer reviewed journals and the application of well-established methodologies (RAND/UCLA Appropriateness Method and Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development, and Evaluation or GRADE) to rate the appropriateness of imaging and treatment procedures for specific clinical scenarios. In those instances where evidence is lacking or equivocal, expert opinion may supplement the available evidence to recommend imaging or treatment.

Abstract
Breast cancer is the most common cause of cancer-related deaths in the female population worldwide. To the best of our knowledge, breast cancer (BRCA)1/2 gene mutations have not been described yet on breast cancer cytological specimens. Here we describe the case of a 38-year old woman with a family and personal history for breast cancer, who underwent a fine needle aspiration (FNA) procedure for a novel 30 mm lesion located in the external quadrants of the contralateral (left) breast. Cytological findings and ancillary immunostaining confirmed the diagnosis of a triple negative NST carcinoma. BRCA1/2 molecular assessment was carried out on DNA extracted from cytological (November 2020), biopsy (December 2014) and surgical resection (July 2015) specimens, as well as on the resection of a benign fibroadenoma, by using a next generation sequencing approach. Molecular analysis showed a pathogenic BRCA1 insertion (c.5266dupC; p.Q1756PfsTer74) in the cytological specimen (allelic fraction 92.0%), biopsy (allelic fraction 84.2%), surgical resection (allelic fraction 87.8%) and fibroadenoma (58.9%), demonstrating a germinal BRCA mutated status.

Abstract
Breast cancer (BRCA) has severely threatened women's health worldwide. Radiotherapy is a treatment for BRCA, which applies high doses of ionizing radiation to induce cancer cell death and reduce disease recurrence. Radioresistance is one of the most important elements that affect the therapeutic efficacy of radiotherapy. Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) are suggested to dominate crucial roles in regulating the biological behavior of BRCA. Currently, some studies indicate that overexpression or inhibition of lncRNAs can greatly alter the radioresistance of BRCA. In this review, we summarized the knowledge on the classification and function of lncRNAs and the molecular mechanism of BRCA radioresistance, listed lncRNAs related to the BRCA radioresistance, highlighted their underlying mechanisms, and discussed the potential application of these lncRNAs in regulating BRCA radioresistance.

Abstract
Despite therapeutic gains in the treatment of HER2-positive (HER2: human epidermal growth factor receptor 2) advanced/metastatic breast cancer, there remains an urgent need for more effective treatment options. At present, there is no definitive approved standard therapy beyond second-line treatment. One of the major challenges is overcoming treatment resistance. Depending on the underlying resistance mechanism, different strategies are being pursued for new innovative treatment concepts in HER2-positive breast cancer. Specifically designed antibodies for targeted therapy are one important focus to successfully meet these challenges. Trastuzumab deruxtecan (T-DXd, DS-8201a), an optimised antibody drug conjugate (ADC) is in clinical trials, showing promising outcomes in patients with advanced, nonoperable or metastatic HER2-positive breast cancer who had already undergone intensive prior treatment. Based on this data, T-DXd has already been approved in the US and Japan for HER2-positive advanced nonoperable and metastatic breast cancer - in the US after at least two prior anti-HER2 targeted treatment lines and in Japan after prior chemotherapy. T-DXd represents successful "antibody engineering". Since the beginning of the year, T-DXd has also been approved in Europe as monotherapy for inoperable or metastatic HER2-positive breast cancer in patients who are pretreated with at least two anti-HER2 directed therapies. This paper presents strategies for improving treatment options in advanced nonoperable and metastatic HER2-positive breast cancer, with the development of T-DXd as an example.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Several recent randomized therapeutic exploratory trials demonstrated improvement of progression-free survival and in some even overall survival using stereotactic body radiotherapy in patients with oligometastatic disease. However, only very few patients enrolled in these trials had breast cancer, and results from confirmatory trials are lacking. METHODS/DESIGN The OLIGOMA-trial is a randomized controlled multi-national multi-center therapeutic confirmatory trial studying the role of local ablative radiotherapy as an additive treatment in patients with oligometastatic breast cancer receiving standard systemic therapy. Patients will be randomized 1:1 to standard systemic therapy according to national guidelines with or without radiotherapy to all metastatic sites. Randomization will be stratified according to type and line of systemic therapy, which has to be determined by a multidisciplinary tumor board before enrollment. Patients with up to five metastatic lesions are eligible, including patients with up to three brain metastases (only in case of extracranial disease) and with locoregional recurrence (only in case of additional metastatic lesions). In the standard arm, palliative radiotherapy to symptomatic metastases is permitted if at least one lesion remains untreated. The co-primary endpoints are progression-free survival and quality of life. The primary hypothesis is that progression-free survival in the experimental arm will be superior to the standard arm while simultaneously demonstrating non-inferiority of quality of life at 12 weeks after randomization. Secondary endpoints are feasibility, overall survival, toxicity, quality of life and patient satisfaction. A translational sub-study with collection of ctDNA will be conducted. DISCUSSION The OLIGOMA-trial will provide high level evidence on the use of and benefit from local ablative radiotherapy for patients with oligometastatic breast cancer. Abstract
The repurposing of FDA-approved Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitors as therapeutic agents for solid tumors may offer renewed hope for chemotherapy-resistant cancer patients. Here we review the emerging evidence regarding the clinical potential of BTK inhibitors in solid tumor therapy. The use of BTK inhibitors may through lead optimization and translational research lead to the development of new and effective combination regimens for metastatic and/or therapy-refractory solid tumor patients.

Abstract
Importance The extent of changes in estradiol levels in male patients with hormone receptor-positive breast cancer receiving standard endocrine therapies is unknown. The sexual function and quality of life related to those changes have not been adequately evaluated. Objective To assess the changes in estradiol levels in male patients with breast cancer after 3 months of therapy. Design, Setting, and Participants This multicenter, phase 2 randomized clinical trial assessed 56 male patients with hormone receptor-positive breast cancer. Patients were recruited from 24 breast units across Germany between October 2012 and May 2017. The last patient completed 6 months of treatment in December 2017. The analysis data set was locked on August 24, 2018, and analysis was completed on December 19, 2018. Interventions Patients were randomized to 1 of 3 arms: tamoxifen alone or tamoxifen plus gonadotropin-releasing hormone analogue (GnRHa) or aromatase inhibitor (AI) plus GnRHa for 6 months. Main Outcomes and Measures The primary end point was the change in estradiol levels from baseline to 3 months. Secondary end points were changes of estradiol levels after 6 months, changes of additional hormonal parameters, adverse effects, sexual function, and quality of life after 3 and 6 months. Results In this phase 2 randomized clinical trial, a total of 52 of 56 male patients with a median (range) age of 61.5 (37-83) years started treatment. A total of 3 patients discontinued study treatment prematurely, 1 in each arm. A total of 50 patients were evaluable for the primary end point. After 3 months the patients' median estradiol levels increased by 67% (a change of +17.0 ng/L) with tamoxifen, decreased by 85% (-23.0 ng/L) with tamoxifen plus GnRHa, and decreased by 72% (-18.5 ng/L) with AI plus GnRHa (P < .001). After 6 months, median estradiol levels increased by 41% (a change of +12 ng/L) with tamoxifen, decreased by 61% (-19.5 ng/L) with tamoxifen plus GnRHa, and decreased by 64% (-17.0 ng/L) with AI plus GnRHa (P < .001). Sexual function and quality of life decreased when GnRHa was added but were unchanged with tamoxifen alone. Conclusions and Relevance This phase 2 randomized clinical trial found that AI or tamoxifen plus GnRHa vs tamoxifen alone led to a sustained decrease of estradiol levels. Abstract
Despite the significant achievements in the diagnosis and treatment of metastatic breast cancer (MBC), this condition remains substantially an incurable disease. In recent years, several clinical studies have aimed to identify novel molecular targets, therapeutic strategies, and predictive biomarkers to improve the outcome of women with MBC. Overall, ~40% of hormone receptor (HR)+/HER2- MBC cases harbor alterations affecting the (PI3K)/Akt/mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) pathway. This pathway is a major target in oncogenesis, as it regulates growth, proliferation, cell survival, and angiogenesis. Lately, the pharmacologic targeting of PIK3CA in HR+/HER2- MBC has shown significant benefits after the occurrence of endocrine therapy resistance. The orally available α-selective PIK3CA inhibitor, alpelisib, has been approved in this setting. To perform an optimal patients' selection for this drug, it is crucial to adopt a tailored methodology. Clinically relevant PIK3CA alterations may be detected in several biospecimens (e.g. tissue samples and liquid biopsy) using different techniques (e.g. real-time PCR and next-generation sequencing). In this study, we provide an overview of the role of PIK3CA in breast cancer and of the characterization of its mutational status for appropriate clinical management.

Abstract
In Europe, inappropriate reimbursement and funding rules and regulations act as disincentives to best breast cancer care or, at worst, hinder best care. This problem was the focus of the 12th European Breast Cancer Conference (EBCC) manifesto, discussed during the virtual conference. As patient involvement is indispensable in driving changes to clinical practice, Europa Donna the European patient advocacy group was closely involved in the 12th manifesto. Reimbursement policies have rarely evolved with advances in breast cancer care such as outpatient (ambulatory) care rather than inpatient admission, use of oral or subcutaneous anti-cancer drugs rather than day-hospital intravenous administration, oncoplastic surgery techniques to minimize mastectomy rates, breast reconstructive surgery, risk-reducing surgery for BRCA mutation carriers, or use of hypo-fractionated breast radiation therapy. Although each European country, region and centre will have to understand how their reimbursement policies may hinder best care and find their own solutions, the problems are similar throughout Europe and some solutions can be broadly applied. This manifesto is not calling for more funding or demanding changes that will result in more expensive care. Reimbursement, if better aligned with guidelines and optimal clinical practice, will deliver more cost-effective healthcare. This will release resources, support more equitable use of finite funding and resources, so allowing more European breast cancer patients to benefit from evidence-based treatment recommended by national and international guidelines.

Abstract
Purpose Hypofractionated radiotherapy is the standard of care for adjuvant whole breast radiotherapy (RT). However, adoption has been slow. The indication for regional nodal irradiation has been expanded to include patients with 0–3 involved lymph nodes. We investigated the impact of the publication of the updated German S3 guidelines in 2017 on adoption of hypofractionation and enrollment of patients with lymph node involvement within a randomized controlled phase III trial. Methods In the experimental arm of the HYPOSIB trial (NCT02474641), hypofractionated RT with simultaneous integrated boost (SIB) was used. In the standard arm, RT could be given as hypofractionated RT with sequential boost (HFseq), normofractionated RT with sequential boost (NFseq), or normofractionated RT with SIB (NFSIB). The cutoff date for the updated German S3 guidelines was December 17, 2017. Temporal trends were analyzed by generalized linear regression models. Multiple logistic regression models were used to investigate the influence of time (prior to/after guideline) and setting (university hospital/other institutions) on the fractionation patterns. Results Enrollment of patients with involved lymph nodes was low throughout the trial. Adoption of HFseq increased over time and when using the guideline publication date as cutoff. Results of the multiple logistic regressions showed an interaction between time and setting. Furthermore, the use of HFseq was significantly more common in university hospitals. Conclusion The use of HFseq in the standard arm increased over the course of the HYPOSIB trial and after publication of the S3 guideline update. This was primarily driven by patients treated in university hospitals. Enrolment of patients with lymph node involvement was low throughout the trial.

Abstract
Brain metastases are a major cause of death in breast cancer patients. A key event in the metastatic progression of breast cancer in the brain is the migration of cancer cells across the blood-brain barrier (BBB). The BBB is a natural barrier with specialized functions that protect the brain from harmful substances, including anti-tumor drugs. Extracellular vesicles (EVs) sequestered by cells are mediators of cell-cell communication. EVs carry cellular components, including microRNAs that affect the cellular processes of target cells. Here, we summarize the knowledge about microRNAs known to play a significant role in breast cancer and/or in the BBB function. In addition, we describe previously established in vitro BBB models, which are a useful tool for studying molecular mechanisms involved in the formation of brain metastases.

Abstract
The treatment of patients with early breast cancer has always been characterised by escalation by new therapies and de-escalation through identification of better treatment regimens or introduction of better tools to estimate prognosis. Efforts in some of these areas in the last few years have led to solid data. The results of the large studies of de-escalation through use of multi-gene tests are available, as are the results of some studies that investigated the new anti-HER2 substances T-DM1 and pertuzumab in the early treatment situation. Several large-scale studies examining the role of CDK4/6 inhibitors will soon be concluded so innovations can be anticipated in this area also. This review article will summarise and classify the results of the latest publications.

Abstract
BACKGROUND It is not clear whether clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) and consensus statements (CSs) are adequately promoting shared decision making (SDM). OBJECTIVE To evaluate the recommendations about SDM in CPGs and CSs concerning breast cancer (BC) treatment. SEARCH STRATEGY Following protocol registration (Prospero no.: CRD42018106643), CPGs and CSs on BC treatment were identified, without language restrictions, through systematic search of bibliographic databases (MEDLINE, EMBASE, Web of Science, Scopus, CDSR) and online sources (12 guideline databases and 51 professional society websites) from January 2010 to December 2019. INCLUSION CRITERIA CPGs and CSs on BC treatment were selected whether published in a journal or in an online document. DATA EXTRACTION AND SYNTHESIS A 31-item SDM quality assessment tool was developed and used to extract data in duplicate. MAIN RESULTS There were 167 relevant CPGs (139) and CSs (28); SDM was reported in only 40% of the studies. SDM was reported more often in recent publications after 2015 (42/101 (41.6 %) vs 46/66 (69.7 %), P = .0003) but less often in medical journal publications (44/101 (43.5 %) vs 17/66 (25.7 %), P = .009). In CPGs and CSs with SDM, only 8/66 (12%) met one-fifth (6 of 31) of the quality items; only 14/66 (8%) provided clear and precise SDM recommendations. DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSIONS SDM descriptions and recommendations in CPGs and CSs concerning BC treatment need improvement. SDM was more frequently reported in CPGs and CSs in recent years, but surprisingly it was less often covered in medical journals, a feature that needs attention.

Abstract
Purpose Prospectively collected outcome data of patients (pts) whose adjuvant systemic therapy recommendation was based on the clinico-molecular test EndoPredict® (EP) are presented. Methods Pts with ER-positive, HER2-negative early breast cancer with 0–3 positive lymph nodes were enrolled. The EP was carried out on all tumor samples. Pts were evaluated for treatment compliance, local recurrence, distant metastases and overall survival. Censored time-to-event outcomes were analysed by Cox proportional hazards models. Additional estimates of the event-free-survival were calculated by the Kaplan–Meier method. Hypothesis testing was conducted on two-sided exploratory 5% significance levels. Results 373 consecutive pts were enrolled. EP classified 238 pts (63.8%) as low risk and 135 pts (36.2%) as high risk. Median follow-up was 41.6 months. Risk for disease recurrence or death in EPclin high-risk patients was twofold higher in comparison with EPclin low-risk patients (hazard ratio (HR) 2.05 (95% CI 0.85–4.96; p = 0.110). Patients with EPclin high risk were at significant higher risk of distant metastases than patients with EPclin low risk (HR 5.18; 95% CI 1.04–25.74; p = 0.0443). EPclin high-risk patients who actually underwent adjuvant CTX had a 3-year-DFS of 96.3% (95% CI 92.2–100) in contrast to EPclin high-risk patients without CTX (3-year-DFS: 91.5% (95% CI 82.7–100%); HR 0.32; 95% CI 0.10–1.05; p = 0.061). Conclusion These first prospective outcome results show that EP, in clinical routine, is a valid clinico-molecular test, to predict DFS and to guide decision of adjuvant CTX use in ER-positive, HER2-negative early breast cancer pts with 0–3 positive lymph nodes. Abstract
Despite advances in the treatment of hormone receptor-positive, HER2- metastatic breast cancer, the disease is rarely curable. In this review, we focus on the use of CDK4/6 inhibitors, examining clinical experience and the mechanisms underlying the development of resistance, and evaluating treatment options after failure to respond to CDK4/6 inhibitors. Current basic research supports the use of mammalian target of rapamycin inhibitors after CDK4/6 inhibitor failure; however, more data are needed, particularly regarding treatment sequencing. Real-world data studies may help to fill the current knowledge gap, particularly where large-scale randomized controlled studies are not feasible.

Abstract
Breast cancers (BC) can mutate, allowing metastatic tumors (MT) to sometimes differ to primary tumors (PT) in gene expression. Despite contemporary metastatic breast cancer (MBC) therapy, subtype conversion seems prognostically disadvantageous. We strived to determine the influence of mRNA-assessed intrinsic subtype stability comparing PT and MT biopsies and circulating tumor cell (CTC)-based liquid biopsies on progression free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS). Additional analyzed prognostic factors were PT subtype, MT subtype and hormone receptor loss. Kaplan-Meier curves and the log rank tests were used to compare PFSs and OSs. The proportions of luminal B and triple negative subtype MTs were increased compared to those observed in PTs. Fifteen patients were found to have tumors that underwent intrinsic subtype conversion and their OS was significantly decreased (p = 0.038). No such difference was observed when it comes to PFS. The majority of these tumors switched to a more aggressive intrinsic subtype. No significant differences in PFSs or OSs were observed between subtype converters with triple negative PTs compared to those with luminal subtype PTs. The same is true of subtype stable patients. Total CTC, iCTC and aCTC counts decreased with therapy, but there were no significant differences between subtype converters and subtype stable patients. Our data confirm a poorer overall survival of the intrinsic subtype converters and emphasize the importance of acquiring biopsies and re-biopsies of all available metastatic lesions alongside with CTC-based liquid biopsies for earlier recognition of patients with poorer prognosis and in need of altered individualized therapy regimens.

Abstract
Purpose There is growing interest in low-dose metronomic chemotherapy (LDMC) in metastatic breast cancer (MBC). In this retrospective case–control analysis, we compared the efficacy of LDMC and conventional chemotherapy (CCT) in MBC. Methods Each LDMC patient receiving oral cyclophosphamide (CTX) (50 mg daily) and methotrexate (MTX) (2.5 mg every other day) was matched with two controls who received CCT. Age, number of chemotherapy lines and metastatic sites as well as hormone receptor (HR) status were considered as matching criteria. Primary endpoint was disease control rate longer than 24 weeks (DCR). Secondary endpoints were progression-free survival (PFS), duration of response (DoR) and subgroup analyses using the matching criteria. Results 40 cases and 80 controls entered the study. 30.0% patients with LDMC and 22.5% patients with CCT showed DCR (p = 0.380). The median PFS was 12.0 weeks in both groups (p = 0.218) and the median DoR was 31.0 vs. 20.5 weeks (p = 0.383), respectively. Among younger patients, DCR was 40.0% in LDMC vs. 25.0% in the CCT group (p = 0.249). DCR was achieved in 33.3% vs. 26.2% non-heavily pretreated patients (p = 0.568) and in 36.0% vs. 18.0% patients without multiple metastases (p = 0.096), respectively. In the HR-positive group, 30.0% LDMC vs. 28.3% CCT patients showed DCR (p = 1.000). Among triple-negative patients, DCR was achieved in 30.0% LDMC and 5.0% CCT patients (p = 0.095). Conclusions We demonstrated a similar efficacy of LDMC compared to CCT in the treatment of MBC. Thus, LDMC may be a valuable treatment option in selected MBC patients.

Abstract
Circulating tumor cell (CTC) detection is a prognostic factor in the metastatic breast cancer (MBC) setting. Discrepancies in primary (PT) and metastatic tumor (MT) genetic profiles are also of prognostic importance. Our study aimed to compare the CTC statuses and prognoses between those with subtype stable MBCs and MBCs with specific biomarker conversions. The study enrolled 261 MBC patients, treated at the National Center for Tumor Diseases, Heidelberg, Germany in a five-year period. All underwent PT and MT biopsies and subsequent CTC enumeration before the initiation of systemic therapy. ER and HER2 statuses of the PTs and MTs were determined and progression free survivals (PFSs) and overall survivals (OSs) were recorded. We compared CTC statuses, CTC counts, PFSs and OSs between subgroups of patients with different receptor change patterns. Patients who had tumors that converted to triple negative MTs had the shortest median OSs, while HER2 expression was not associated with a shorter median OS. No significant differences in PFSs and OSs have been demonstrated by Kaplan-Meier curve comparisons in any of the subgroup analyses. CTC counts were similar in all subgroups. CTCs were comparably less frequently detected in patients with a stable HER2 expression. Similar proportions of CTC positives were observed in all other subtype change pattern subgroups, barring the aforementioned HER2 stable subgroup. The detection of CTCs was of no appreciable prognostic value in different receptor change pattern subgroups in our cohort.

Abstract
This review is intended to present the latest developments in the prevention and treatment of early breast cancer. The risk of breast cancer can be increasingly better characterised with large epidemiological studies on genetic and non-genetic risk factors. Through new analyses, the evidence for high-penetrance genes as well as for low-penetrance genes was able to be improved. New data on denosumab and atezolizumab are available in the neoadjuvant situation as is a pooled appraisal of numerous studies on capecitabine in the curative situation. There is also an update to the overall survival data of pertuzumab in the adjuvant situation with a longer follow-up observation period. Finally, digital medicine is steadily finding its way into science. A recently conducted study on automated breast cancer detection using artificial intelligence establishes the basis for a future review in clinical studies.
