Abstract
BACKGROUND Benralizumab is indicated as add-on therapy in patients with uncontrolled, severe eosinophilic asthma; it has not yet been evaluated in a large Asian population with asthma in a clinical trial. OBJECTIVE To evaluate the efficacy and safety of benralizumab in patients with severe asthma in Asia. METHODS MIRACLE (NCT03186209) was a randomized, Phase 3 study in China, South Korea, and the Philippines. Patients aged 12-75 years with severe asthma receiving medium-to-high-dose inhaled corticosteroid/long-acting β2-agonists, stratified (2:1) by baseline blood eosinophil count (bEOS) (≥300/μL; <300/μL), were randomized (1:1) to benralizumab 30 mg or placebo. Endpoints included annual asthma exacerbation rate (AAER; primary endpoint), change from baseline at Week 48 in pre-bronchodilator (BD) forced expiratory volume in 1 second (pre-BD FEV1) and total asthma symptom score (TASS). Safety was evaluated ≤ Week 56. RESULTS Of 695 patients randomized, 473 had baseline bEOS ≥300/μL (benralizumab n = 236; placebo n = 237). In this population, benralizumab significantly reduced AAER by 74% (rate ratio 0.26 [95% CI 0.19, 0.36], p < 0.0001) and significantly improved pre-BD FEV1 (least squares difference [LSD] 0.25 L [95% CI 0.17, 0.34], p < 0.0001) and TASS (LSD -0.25 [-0.45, -0.05], p = 0.0126) versus placebo. In patients with baseline bEOS <300/μL, there were numerical improvements in AAER, pre-BD FEV1, and TASS with benralizumab versus placebo. The frequency of adverse events was similar for benralizumab (76%) and placebo (80%) in the overall population. CONCLUSIONS MIRACLE data reinforces the efficacy and safety of benralizumab for severe eosinophilic asthma in an Asian population, consistent with the global Phase 3 results.

Abstract
Shadow puppets are a popular art form in various regions, including China, Indonesia, and Turkey, and are rich in cultural significance. However, there is a considerable lack of research on the materials, diseases and conservation techniques related to shadow puppet relics. Material identification is the basis for understanding the production process of ancient shadow puppet relics and evaluating their deterioration degree. The microscopic morphology and infrared spectroscopy results in our experiments showed that the traditional methods of ancient skin identification were not effective in the shadow puppet samples. In order to achieve accurate identification, we used biological mass-spectrometry in proteomics to examine two puppet relics and commercially available modern shadow puppets. The results showed that the above samples could be detected by mass spectrometry with abundant peptides, including peptides specific for bovine skin. These peptides cannot be found in other commonly used materials for making shadow puppets, including the skins of pig, sheep, deer and horse. It is worth mentioning that we have found the peptides specific to yellow cowhide in two ancient shadow puppet relics samples. Therefore, the proteomic evidence shows that the raw materials of the two shadow puppet relics samples are yellow cowhide. Four modern samples also confirmed the reliability of material identification using proteomics. The proteomic evidence shows that the biological mass spectrometry will contribute to the scientific research of shadow puppet relics and other skin and leather cultural relics.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Colonoscopy is currently considered as one of the principal techniques to diagnose the colorectal diseases. Admittedly, qualified bowel preparation before colonoscopy is a premise for high-quality examination. Lower quality bowel preparation might seriously impede visualization of the intestinal mucosa, resulting in missed and misdiagnosed intestinal lesions. Therefore, it is necessary to choose the appropriate oral laxative based on the guarantee of safety and efficacy. METHODS This prospective randomized controlled study was conducted to compare lactulose oral solution and polyethylene glycol (PEG) electrolyte powder for bowel preparation using the following indicators: Boston Bowel Preparation Scale, Bowel Bubble Score, detection rate of adenoma and lesion, patients' satisfaction, and adverse effects. Our study investigated the suitability of 2 bowel preparation reagents for patients with different body mass indices mainly based on body mass index (BMI). RESULTS In the lactulose group, there was a significant improvement in the quality of bowel preparation compared with those in the PEG group ( P < 0.05), especially in people with normal BMI and higher BMI. Compared with the PEG group, individuals in the lactulose group had a significantly higher adenoma detection rate (50% vs 33.5%, P < 0.05) and taste scores (8.82 vs 6.69, P < 0.05), as well as significantly fewer adverse reactions (6.5% vs 32.5%, P < 0.05). DISCUSSION Lactulose oral solution is superior to PEG in bowel preparation quality and taste, especially in normal BMI and higher BMI groups. It can be used clinically as a potential and promising bowel preparation agent in the future. Clinical Trial registration number: ChiCTR2100054318.

Abstract
The target gene sequences of the novel coronaviruses obtained by sequencing were compared with the reference sequences to analyze the genetic variation of the two cases of the novel coronaviruses from Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in 2022 and to explore the sources of infection. The results showed that the two sequences belonged to different evolutionary branches, Delta (AY.122) and Omicron (BA.1.1), respectively. hCoV-19/Inner Mongolia/IVDC-591/2022 had 48 single nucleotide polymorphisms on the genome sequences, sharing 40 nucleotide mutation sites with a Mongolian strain; hCoV-19/Inner Mongolia/IVDC-592/2022 genome shared 57 nucleotide mutation sites with a UK strain, and the nucleotide mutation site identity was 100% (57/57). Phylogenetic analysis showed that the target gene sequences were not directly related to domestic novel coronavirus sequences during the same period, but were related to isolates from Europe and Mongolia.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Although previous studies have explored the causes of COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy during the pandemic, there is a lack of generality and reproducibility in these studies. Therefore, we aimed to comprehensively identify the determinants of COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy through a representative nationwide cross-sectional study conducted in South Korea. SUBJECTS AND METHODS We used a nationwide, representative, and large-scale dataset from the 2021 Community Health Survey. By analyzing 193,495 participants, we investigated the nationwide incidence of COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy and the various causes thereof. RESULTS The national prevalence of COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy was 5.7% (95% CI, 5.5-5.8). COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy was associated with an increased incidence of the following factors: (1) demographic factors including early-middle adulthood [vs. late; odds ratio (OR), 1.51; 95% CI, 1.38-1.65] and male sex (vs. female sex; OR, 1.08; 95% CI, 1.01-1.14); (2) physically healthy subjects; (3) lower socio-economic status (vs. high household income; OR, 1.28; 95% CI, 1.19-1.38); (4) having mental illness (vs. normal mental status; OR, 1.25; 95% CI, 1.13-1.38); and (5) unhealthy habits such as current smoking (vs. non-smoking; OR, 1.22; 95% CI, 1.13-1.31); and insufficient physical activity (vs. sufficient; OR, 1.08; 95% CI, 1.01-1.17). Common reasons for vaccine hesitancy were concerns about side effects (41.34%), health problems (24.60%), and inability to select the type of vaccine (14.13%). CONCLUSIONS This representative large-scale nationwide study conducted in South Korea investigated the nationwide prevalence and determinants of vaccine hesitancy. Our results provide useful public health information, especially on novel aspects of vaccination strategies, for policymakers to improve the acceptance of COVID-19 vaccines.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Among the global efforts toward preventing the COVID-19 pandemic, vaccines are a pivotal factor in ending the pandemic. Thus, through a large-scale population-based study, we investigated the individual-, social-, and family-associated factors affecting the acceptance of COVID-19 vaccines in South Korea. PATIENTS AND METHODS Data were obtained from a nationwide representative study (Korea Community Health) conducted in 2021. To determine the individual-, social-, and family-associated variables for COVID-19 vaccination acceptance, we investigated data from 225,319 individuals. RESULTS In the total sample (n=225,319), 184,529 COVID-19-vaccinated people and 40,790 non-vaccinated people were evaluated. The factors related to the acceptance of COVID-19 vaccination were significantly associated with the demographic factors, namely, older age group, female sex, and a history of influenza vaccination, as well as medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and depression. Socioeconomic conditions influencing the acceptance of COVID-19 vaccination were significantly associated with low-income families and blue-collar workers. Health-related risk factors were high in the obese group. However, a noteworthy negative association was found between the acceptance of vaccination and smoking habits and alcohol consumption. Conversely, a positive association was observed between academic level and vaccination acceptance. CONCLUSIONS Our findings suggest that old age, female sex, a history of influenza vaccination, medical conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and depression, low-income families, blue-collar workers, and health-related risk factors, such as obesity, were associated with the acceptance of COVID-19 vaccination. Additionally, a high academic level, absence of smoking habits, and non-current alcohol use were positively associated with vaccine acceptance.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Issues of the aging population and disability of older persons have been rapidly developing in China over the past 20 years. Since 2016, the Chinese government has been exploring remedies to alleviate social and family burdens and ensure the dignity of the disabled old persons by implementing long-term care insurance systems in a few pilot cities across the country. PURPOSE The purpose of this study is to present the current challenges faced by China's long-term care insurance system and put forth suggestions for the future, based on literature research and the feedback obtained from its implementation in pilot areas. RESEARCH DESIGN This paper conducts a theoretical study based on the principles of public health ethics. STUDY SAMPLE Since 2016, China has launched two batches of pilot cities for long-term care insurance. The analysis object of this study is the feedback on the policy implementation of the existing 29 pilot cities that participated. The relevant data involved in the analysis are from the authors' field research and published literature on the analysis of pilot cities. ANALYSIS The ethical value and importance of long-term care insurance policies in China are evaluated from the perspectives of policy philosophy and social individual interests. RESULTS The results of this evaluation show that the core ethical values were not met in the development of China's current long-term care insurance system. Moreover, distributive justice norms were neglected, and access to the system between different social groups and within the groups covered by it was unequal. CONCLUSIONS This paper argues that long-term care insurance should not differentiate between urban and rural areas in allocating nursing resources. Additionally, it would be essential to build democratic supervision and manage public opinions by adopting open and transparent information-sharing policies. Standards of disability assessments and treatment payment should be at par to ensure a balance between the rights and obligations of policyholders.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The ethnic and sex differences in the distributions of body mass index (BMI) and waist circumference (WC) among adults are largely unknown. Therefore, we aimed to investigate the percentiles of BMI and WC in groups divided according to age, sex, and ethnicity. PATIENTS AND METHODS We conducted a population-based binational study of adults aged ≥20 years based on data from two sources: US National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (2015 to 2020) and Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (2016 to 2019). RESULTS Weight, height, and WC were measured in 13,144 American adults and 30,191 Korean adults. Overall, BMI increased at younger ages and decreased at older ages, which indicates a reversed U-shaped relationship, and differed in terms of age, sex, and ethnicity. Women in the other Hispanic, non-Hispanic white, non-Hispanic black, and "other ethnic groups" showed a common BMI peak at ages 50-54 years. The patterns of WC distribution were similar to those of BMI distribution. CONCLUSIONS In this binational representative study, we found varied distributions of ethnic and sex differences in BMI and WC. Considering the differences in these distributions may help improve individual and personalized treatment strategies.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Previous studies have comprehensively investigated the prevalence and various potential risk factors for delirium among patients with advanced cancer admitted to the acute palliative care unit (APCU). Our objective was to evaluate the comprehensive association between delirium and various risk factors among patients with advanced cancer in an acute palliative care setting using a patient-based multicenter registry cohort. PATIENTS AND METHODS We performed a multicenter, patient-based registry cohort study collected in South Korea between January 1, 2019, and December 31, 2020. Delirium was identified using a medical record review based on the criteria of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition. RESULTS In total, 2,124 eligible patients with advanced cancer in the APCU met the inclusion criteria. There were 127 out of 2,124 patients (prevalence, 6.0%; 95% CI, 5.0 to 7.1) with delirium during admission. Delirium in patients with advanced cancer was associated with age >70 years (OR, 1.793; 95% CI, 1.246 to 2.581), male sex (OR, 1.675; 95% CI, 1.131 to 2.479), no chemotherapy during hospitalization (OR, 2.019; 95% CI, 1.236 to 3.298), hearing impairment (OR, 3.566; 95% CI, 1.176 to 10.810), underweight (OR, 1.826; 95% CI, 1.067 to 3.124), current use of opioid medication (OR, 1.942; 95% CI, 1.264 to 2.982), previous history of delirium (OR, 12.497; 95% CI, 6.920 to 22.568), and mental illness (OR, 2.333; 95% CI, 1.251 to 4.352). CONCLUSIONS In a large-scale multicenter patient-based registry cohort, delirium was associated with old age, male sex, no chemotherapy during hospitalization, hearing impairment, underweight, current use of opioid medication, and a history of delirium and mental illness. Our findings suggest physicians should pay attention to delirium in patients with advanced cancer admitted to the APCU with the above risk factors.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE There is a lack of pediatric studies that have analyzed trends in mean body mass index (BMI) and the prevalence of obesity and overweight over a period that includes the mid-stage of the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, we aimed to investigate trends in BMI, overweight, and obesity among Korean adolescents from 2005 to 2021, including the COVID-19 pandemic. SUBJECTS AND METHODS We used data from the Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey (KYRBS), which is nationally representative of South Korea. The study included middle- and high-school students between the ages of 12 and 18. We examined trends in mean BMI and prevalence of obesity and/or overweight during the COVID-19 pandemic and compared these to those of pre-pandemic trends in each subgroup by gender, grade, and residential region. RESULTS Data from 1,111,300 adolescents (mean age: 15.04 years) were analyzed. The estimated weighted mean BMI was 20.48 kg/m2 (95% CI, 20.46-20.51) between 2005 and 2007, and this was 21.61 kg/m2 (95% CI, 21.54-21.68) in 2021. The prevalence of overweight and obesity was 13.1% (95% CI, 12.9-13.3%) between 2005 and 2007 and 23.4% (95% CI, 22.8-24.0%) in 2021. The mean BMI and prevalence of obesity and overweight have gradually increased over the past 17 years; however, the extent of change in mean BMI and in the prevalence of obesity and overweight during the pandemic was distinctly less than before. The 17-year trends in the mean BMI, obesity, and overweight exhibited a considerable rise from 2005 to 2021; however, the slope during the COVID-19 pandemic (2020-2021) was significantly less prominent than in the pre-pandemic (2005-2019). CONCLUSIONS These findings enable us to comprehend long-term trends in the mean BMI of Korean adolescents and further emphasize the need for practical prevention measures against youth obesity and overweight.

Abstract
The effect of storage time on green coffee volatile organic compounds (VOCs) was studied by their separation via head space solid-phase microextraction and identification via gas chromatography-ion mobility spectrometry. In total, 38 kinds of VOCs, mainly composed of alcohols, aldehydes, esters and ketones, were identified. The fingerprint showed that the VOCs produced by green coffee in different years had obvious differences, especially, acrolein, 3-methylbutyl acetate, butanoic acid, heptan-3-ol, and so on, that could be used to predict the storage time. In addition, with the increase of storage time, the contents of butanal, ethanol, dimethyl sulfide, propanal, butan-2-one had no obvious change, and could be considered as typical aroma characteristics of green coffee or special aroma components for variety identification. Meanwhile, principal component analysis (PCA) and "nearest neighbor" fingerprint analysis could also effectively distinguish green coffee with different storage times. Comprehensive analysis showed that GC-IMS technology could provide strong and favorable support for coffee storage.

Abstract
Recently, deep learning based multi-view stereo (MVS) networks have demonstrated their excellent performance on various benchmarks. In this paper, we present an effective and efficient recurrent neural network (RNN) for accurate and complete dense point cloud reconstruction. Instead of regularizing the cost volume via conventional 3D CNN or unidirectional RNN like previous attempts, we adopt a bidirectional hybrid Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) based structure for cost volume regularization. The proposed bidirectional recurrent regularization is able to perceive full-space context information comparable to 3D CNNs while saving runtime memory. For post-processing, we introduce a visibility based approach for depth map refinement to obtain more accurate dense point clouds. Extensive experiments on DTU, Tanks and Temples and ETH3D datasets demonstrate that our method outperforms previous state-of-the-art MVS methods and exhibits high memory efficiency at runtime.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Under the pressure of study, relationship, socializing, employment and other aspects, there is an increasing number of teenagers with psychological problems such as pessimism, anxiety, and depression, seriously affecting their physical and mental health and comprehensive development. Therefore, it is of vital importance to attach great importance and actively seek intervention methods to effectively improve their mental health. The aim was to investigate the intervention effect of positive rumination-based sports prescription on the mental health of teenagers. SUBJECTS AND METHODS 497 teenagers living in four communities randomly selected in Guangxi, China community from February 2021 to August 2021 were included in this study using convenience sampling method. Firstly, Beck Depression Inventory was adopted for measurement, and 61 volunteers were randomly selected from a population of depressive symptoms to participate in intervention. There were 29 people the Experimental group, 32 in the control group. The intervention using positive rumination-based sports prescription was performed on the Experimental group. RESULTS After intervention, the depression score of the control group and the Experimental group was lower than that before intervention (P<0.001). After intervention, the anxiety score of Experimental group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.001). There was no significant difference in the scores regarding optimism, hope, self-efficacy, resiliency and psychological capital (P>0.05), and the scores of the Experimental group regarding optimism, hope, self-efficacy, resiliency and psychological capital were increased after the intervention, significantly higher than before intervention (P<0.001), and there was no significant difference in the score of resiliency before and after intervention (P>0.05). CONCLUSION Positive rumination group counseling and the intervention of health Qigong exercise can effectively reduce anxiety levels of teenagers, improve the levels of optimism, hope, self-efficacy, resiliency and psychological capital, help cultivate teenagers' positive psychology and alleviate negative psychology.

Abstract
This paper presents a method for measuring aircraft landing gear angles based on a monocular camera and the CAD aircraft model. Condition monitoring of the aircraft landing gear is a prerequisite for the safe landing of the aircraft. Traditional manual observation has an intense subjectivity. In recent years, target detection models dependent on deep learning and pose estimation methods relying on a single RGB image have made significant progress. Based on these advanced algorithms, this paper proposes a method for measuring the actual angles of landing gears in two-dimensional images. A single RGB image of an aircraft is inputted to the target detection module to obtain the key points of landing gears. The vector field network votes the key points of the fuselage after extraction and scale normalization of the pixels inside the aircraft prediction box. Knowing the pixel position of the key points and the constraints on the aircraft, the angle between the landing gear and fuselage plane can be calculated even without depth information. The vector field loss function is improved based on the distance between pixels and key points, and synthetic datasets of aircraft with different angle landing gears are created to verify the validity of the proposed algorithm. The experimental results show that the mean error of the proposed algorithm for the landing gears is less than 5 degrees on the light-varying dataset.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Inconsistent results about the effect of air pollution on chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) have been reported. This study aimed to evaluate the impact of meteorological conditions/air pollution on the prevalence of CRS in adult Koreans. METHODOLOGY The data from the Korean National Health Insurance Service-Health Screening Cohort from 2002 through 2015 were used. A CRS group (defined as ICD-10 codes J32, n=6159) was matched with a control group (n=24,636) in 1:4 ratios by age, sex, income, and region of residence. The meteorological conditions and air pollution data included the daily mean, highest, and lowest temperature (°C), daily temperature range (°C), relative humidity (%), ambient atmospheric pressure (hPa), sunshine duration (hr), and the rainfall (mm), SO2 (ppm), NO2 (ppm), O3 (ppm), CO (ppm), and PM10 (μg/m3) levels before the CRS diagnosis. Crude and adjusted odds ratios (ORs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) for CRS were analyzed using logistic regression analyses. RESULTS When the NO2 level increased by 0.1 ppm, the odds for CRS increased 5.40 times, and when the CO level increased by 1 ppm and PM10 increased by 10 μg/m3, the odds for CRS decreased 0.75 times and 0.93 times, respectively. Other meteorological conditions, such as the mean/highest/lowest temperature, temperature range, rainfall and other air pollution, such as SO2 and O3, were not statistically significant. NO2 for 90 days before the index date increased the risk of CRS in all subgroups, except for the nasal polyp and older age subgroups. CONCLUSION CRS is related to high concentrations of NO2.

Abstract
Widespread misinformation about COVID-19 poses a significant threat to citizens long-term health and the combating of the disease. To fight the spread of misinformation, Chinese governments have used official social media accounts to participate in fact-checking activities. This study aims to investigate why citizens share fact-checks about COVID-19 and how to promote this activity. Based on the elaboration likelihood model, we explore the effects of peripheral cues (social media capital, social media strategy, media richness, and source credibility) and central cues (content theme and content importance) on the number of shares of fact-checks posted by official Chinese Government social media accounts. In total, 820 COVID-19 fact-checks from 413 Chinese Government Sina Weibo accounts were obtained and evaluated. Results show that both peripheral and central cues play important roles in the sharing of fact-checks. For peripheral cues, social media capital and media richness significantly promote the number of shares. Compared with the push strategy, both the pull strategy and networking strategy facilitate greater fact-check sharing. Fact-checks posted by Central Government social media accounts receive more shares than local government accounts. For central cues, content importance positively predicts the number of shares. In comparison to fact-checks about the latest COVID-19 news, government actions received fewer shares, while social conditions received more shares.

Abstract
Iron-chelating peptides have been widely considered as one of the best iron supplements to alleviate the iron deficiency. In this study, a novel oat peptides-ferrous (OP-Fe2+) chelate was prepared from antioxidant oat peptides obtained in the laboratory of the authors. The optimal preparation condition was obtained through the single-factor and response surface methodology, and the chelating rate could reach up to 62.6%. After chelation, the OP-Fe2+ chelate exhibited a significantly higher 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical scavenging activity than oat peptides. It was discovered that the hemoglobin concentration and the number of red blood cell levels in OP-Fe2+-treated iron-deficient anemic (IDA) rats were significantly higher than untreated IDA rats. The OP-Fe2+ chelate could also improve the hypertrophy of the spleen, serum iron (SI), total iron and binding capacity, and serum ferritin levels in the IDA rats. In addition, the OP-Fe2+ treatment significantly increased the antioxidant activities of super oxidase and glutathione in the liver homogenate of the IDA rats. Therefore, the OP-Fe2+ chelate is an effective type of iron supplement for IDA rats, which could be a promising source with anti-anemia and antioxidant activity.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) and chronic otitis media (COM) share pathophysiological mechanisms such as bacterial infection, biofilm, and persistence of the obstruction state of ventilation routes. However, only a few studies have investigated the relationship between these two diseases nationwide and in the general population. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the incidence of COM in patients with CRS differed from that of a matched control from the national health screening cohort. METHODS Data from the Korean Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service-National Patient Samples were collected from 2002 to 2015. Participants who were treated ≥ ≥ ≥2 times and underwent head and neck computed tomography evaluation were selected. A 1:4 matched CRS group (n=8,057) and a control group (n=32,228) were selected. The control group included participants who were never treated with the ICD-10 code J32 from 2002 to 2015. The CRS group included CRS patients with/without nasal polyps. RESULTS The incidence of COM was significantly higher in the CRS group than in the control group. In a subgroup analysis, the incidence of COM in all age groups and in men and women was significantly higher in the CRS group than in the control group. More, CRS increased the risk of COM. CONCLUSIONS A significant association was observed between CRS and COM. This indicates that CRS patients have a high risk of developing COM.

Abstract
Objectives Preterm birth (PTB) occurs in 5% to 18% of newborns. However, the underlying inflammatory mechanisms have not been elucidated. Methods We established a mouse model of infection-associated PTB. Physical signs in pregnant mice with or without lipopolysaccharide (LPS) treatment were observed, and the frequencies of Toll-like receptor (TLR)2- and TLR4-positive CD11b+ cells were analyzed. Cytokine levels in plasma and pathological changes were assessed following LPS treatment. A rescue experiment was used to probe potential immunologic mechanisms underlying PTB. Results Lymphocyte infiltration could be observed in the placentas of mice following intrauterine injection with LPS. The percentage of inflammatory cells decreased 12 hours after treatment. Moreover, TLR2 and TLR4 expression in peripheral blood cells was significantly increased 4 hours after intraperitoneal injection of LPS. Peak TLR2 and TLR4 expression in peripheral blood cells occurred 8 hours post-treatment. TLR4 and TLR-2/4 inhibitors reduced levels of interleukin-10, interferon-γ, and tumor necrosis factor-α in peripheral blood and delayed PTB. Conclusions TLR2 and TLR4 inhibition could play important roles in PTB.

Abstract
UNLABELLED We found that combination of high-intensity PA and high 25(OH)D levels was associated with low prevalence of osteoporosis/osteopenia. In addition, the prevalence of osteoporosis was lower in the low PA with high 25(OH)D levels than in the moderate or high PA with low 25(OH)D levels. INTRODUCTION The aim of this study was to explore the association of physical activity (PA) and serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25[OH]D) levels with osteopenia/osteoporosis. METHODS The Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey data from 2008 to 2011 were used in this study. Data from 6868 individuals were selected. Each individual's level of PA was classified as 'low', 'moderate', or 'high'. Serum 25(OH)D levels were classified as 'low' or 'high'. Accordingly, the combined PA and 25(OH)D groups were divided into 6 groups. Bone mineral density (BMD) was classified as 'normal (T score ≥ - 1.0)', 'osteopenia (- 2.5 < T score < - 1.0)' or 'osteoporosis (T score ≤ - 2.5)'. Crude and adjusted odds ratios (AORs) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were calculated using multinomial logistic regression models. RESULTS The AORs (95% CIs) for osteopenia were 0.64 (0.50-0.83) in the high PA with high 25(OH)D group and 0.69 (0.53-0.88) in the moderate PA with high 25(OH)D group. The AORs (95% CIs) for osteoporosis were increased in the groups in ascending order as follows: high PA with high 25(OH)D (0.40 [0.28-0.57]) < moderate PA with high 25(OH)D (0.47 [0.33-0.66]) < low PA with high 25(OH)D (0.59 [0.42-0.83]) < high PA with low 25(OH)D (0.70 [0.49-1.00]) < moderate PA with low 25(OH)D (0.76 [0.53-1.07]) < low PA with low 25(OH)D. This result was consistent in males but not evident in females. CONCLUSION We suggest that the combination of high-intensity PA and high 25(OH)D levels is positively associated with high BMD.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The global outbreak of COVID-19 has become an international public health crisis. Specific antiviral treatments for COVID-19 are not yet available, and prevention is of particular importance to fight the virus. This study tends to explore and compare the roles of cognitive and affective factors in predicting preventive behavior adoption during the COVID-19 pandemic in China. METHODS An online survey using a quota sampling method to collect responses from 3000 Chinese adults was conducted from March 2, 2020 to March 23, 2020. Questions included sociodemographic features, coronavirus knowledge, negative emotion, risk perception, and behavioral responses. Multiple regression analyses were conducted to examine the predictors of behavioral responses toward COVID-19. RESULTS On average, respondents had low levels of knowledge about COVID-19 (the overall correct response rate was 7.5%). Most respondents reported moderate to strong negative emotions towards the virus (3.47 out of 5). The average reported perceived chance of infection was 23.89%. For behavioral responses, respondents reported low frequencies of going out for activities (1.98 out of 4) and high frequencies of taking preventive measures (3.22 out of 4). Behavioral responses toward COVID-19 were found to be determined by cognitive and affective variables. Knowledge was negatively related to frequency of going out for activities (β = - 0.11, p < .001). Negative emotion (β = 0.34, p < .001), and risk perception (β = 0.05, p = .007) were positively associated with going out for activities. The explanatory power of affective variables (ΔR2 = 12.1%) was greater than cognitive variables (ΔR2 = 1.0%). For preventive behaviors, knowledge was positively associated with preventive behaviors (β = 0.22, p < .001). Negative emotion (β = - 0.28, p < .001) and risk perception (β = - 0.05, p = .002) were all negatively associated with preventive measures. Affective variables still showed stronger explanatory power (ΔR2 = 8%) than cognitive variables (ΔR2 = 4.4%) in predicting preventive behaviors. CONCLUSIONS After the rising period of the COVID-19 outbreak in mainland China, cognitive and affective variables still played important roles in predicting behavioral responses. Compared with cognitive factors, affective factors demonstrated stronger explanatory power in predicting behavioral responses toward COVID-19. The findings may have implications for enhancing individual compliance with guidelines of adopting preventive behaviors in response to COVID-19.

Abstract
UNLABELLED A total of 25,306 psoriasis participants were matched to 101,224 controls, and the occurrence of osteoporosis was analyzed. Additionally, 79,212 osteoporosis patients were matched to 79,212 controls and a previous history of psoriasis was analyzed. Psoriasis increased the risk of osteoporosis among participants aged ≥ 40 years. INTRODUCTION The aim of the present study was to evaluate the association between psoriasis and osteoporosis using two different studies. METHODS Data from the Korean National Health Insurance Service-Health Screening Cohort of participants aged ≥ 40 years were collected from 2002 to 2013. Psoriasis and osteoporosis were included using International Classification of Diseases (ICD)-10 codes. In study I (a follow-up study), a total of 25,306 psoriasis participants were matched to 101,224 controls with respect to age, sex, income, and region of residence, and the occurrence of osteoporosis was analyzed. Crude (simple) and adjusted hazard ratios (HRs) were analyzed using a stratified Cox proportional hazard model. In study II (a nested case-control study), a total of 79,212 osteoporosis patients were matched to 79,212 controls and a previous history of psoriasis was analyzed. Crude and adjusted odds ratios (ORs) were analyzed using a conditional logistic regression analysis. Subgroup analyses were conducted according to age group and sex. RESULTS The adjusted HR of osteoporosis was 1.09 (95% confidence interval [CI] = 1.05-1.13, P < 0.001) in study I. In the subgroup analysis according to age and sex, the results were consistent except for ≥ 60-year-old women. The adjusted OR of psoriasis was 1.21 (95% CI = 1.16-1.27, P < 0.001) in study II. All subgroups demonstrated high adjusted ORs of osteoporosis for psoriasis. CONCLUSIONS Psoriasis increased the risk of osteoporosis among participants aged ≥ 40 years in Korea.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The systematic review of economic evaluations plays a critical role in making well-informed decisions about competing healthcare interventions. The quality of these systematic reviews varies due to the lack of internationally recognized methodological evaluation standards. METHODS Nine English and Chinese databases including the Cochrane Library, PubMed, EMbase (Ovid), NHS economic evaluation database (NHSEED) (Ovid), Health Technology Assessment (HTA) database, Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), WangFang, VIP Chinese Science & Technology Periodicals (VIP) and Chinese Biomedical Literature Database (CBM) were searched. Two reviewers independently screened studies and extracted data. The methodological quality of the literature was measured with modified AMSTAR. Data were narrative synthesized. RESULTS 165 systematic reviews were included. The overall methodological quality of the literature was moderate according to the AMSTAR scale. In these articles, thirteen quality assessment tools and 32 author self-defined criteria were used. The three most widely used tools were the Drummond checklist (19.4%), the BMJ checklist (15.8%), the Consolidated Health Economic Evaluation Reporting Standards (CHEERS) statement (12.7%). Others included the Quality of Health Economic Studies (QHES), the Consensus on Health Economic Criteria (CHEC), the checklist of Center for Reviews and Dissemination (CRD), the Philips checklist, the World Health Organization (WHO) checklist, the checklist of Critical Appraisal Skills Program (CASP), the Pediatric Quality Appraisal Questionnaire (PQAQ), the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) checklist, Spanish and Chinese guidelines. The quantitative scales used in these literature were the QHES and PQAQ. CONCLUSIONS Evidence showed that pharmacoeconomic systematic reviews' methodology remained to be improved, and the quality assessment criteria were gradually unified. Multiple scales can be used in combination to evaluate the quality of economic research in different settings and types.

Abstract
Background During the COVID-19 pandemic, growth in citizen engagement with social media platforms has enabled public health departments to accelerate and improve health information dissemination, developing transparency and trust between governments and citizens. In light of these benefits, it is imperative to learn the antecedents and underlying mechanisms for this to maintain and enhance engagement. Objective The aim of this study is to determine the factors and influencing mechanisms related to citizen engagement with the TikTok account of the National Health Commission of China during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods Using a web crawler, 355 short videos were collected from the Healthy China account on TikTok (with more than 3 million followers throughout China), covering the period from January 21, 2020, to April 25, 2020. The title and video length, as well as the number of likes, shares, and comments were collected for each video. After classifying them using content analysis, a series of negative binomial regression analyses were completed. Results Among the 355 videos, 154 (43.4%) related to guidance for clinicians, patients, and ordinary citizens, followed by information concerning the government’s handling of the pandemic (n=100, 28.2%), the latest news about COVID-19 (n=61, 17.2%), and appreciation toward frontline emergency services (n=40, 11.3%). Video length, titles, dialogic loop, and content type all influenced the level of citizen engagement. Specifically, video length was negatively associated with the number of likes (incidence rate ratio [IRR]=0.19, P<.001) and comments (IRR=0.39, P<.001). Title length was positively related to the number of shares (IRR=24.25, P=.01), likes (IRR=8.50, P=.03), and comments (IRR=7.85, P=.02). Dialogic loop negatively predicted the number of shares (IRR=0.56, P=.03). In comparison to appreciative information, information about the government’s handling of the situation (IRR=5.16, P<.001) and guidelines information (IRR=7.31, P<.001) were positively correlated with the number of shares, while the latest news was negatively related to the number of likes received (IRR=0.46, P=.004). More importantly, the relationship between predictors and citizen engagement was moderated by the emotional valence of video titles. Longer videos with positive titles received a higher number of likes (IRR=21.72, P=.04) and comments (IRR=10.14, P=.047). Furthermore, for short videos related to government handling of the pandemic (IRR=14.48, P=.04) and guidance for stakeholders (IRR=7.59, P=.04), positive titles received a greater number of shares. Videos related to the latest news (IRR=66.69, P=.04) received more likes if the video title displayed higher levels of positive emotion. Conclusions During the COVID-19 pandemic, videos were frequently published on government social media platforms. Video length, title, dialogic loop, and content type significantly influenced the level of citizen engagement. These relationships were moderated by the emotional valence of the video’s title. Our findings have implications for maintaining and enhancing citizen engagement via government social media.

Abstract
In order to evaluate the quality of different varieties of Maca(Lepidium meyenii), the main chemical components in Maca were investigated and a method for simultaneous determination of the main chemical components in Maca was established. UPLC-UV-Q-TOF-MS technology and reference materials were used to identify the structures of 19 main components in Maca. Seven compounds with UV absorption and high contents were selected to establish a simultaneous concentration determination method. The method was employed with a Waters Acquity I-Class~(TM) liquid chromatographic system coupled with a PDA detector and a Waters Acquity Cortecs C_(18)~+ column(2.1 mm×100 mm, 1.6 μm), and acetonitrile-0.2% phosphoric acid water was used as mobile phase(0.45 mL·min~(-1)). The detection wavelength was 195 nm and the column temperature was maintained at 40 ℃. There was efficient separation of seven compounds, p-hydroxybenzylglucosinolate, benzylglucosinolate, N-benzyl-9Z,12Z,15Z-octadecatrienamid, N-benzyl-9Z,12Z-octadecadienamide, N-(3-methoxybenzyl)-hexadecanamide, N-benzyl-hexadecanamide, and N-benzyl-9Z-octadecenamide. The stan-dard calibration curves were good(R~2>0.999). The precision, stability and repeatability were also good. The linearity ranges were 0.197-4.980 μg·mL~(-1) to 193.67-796.8 μg·mL~(-1), and the average recovery rate was 96.71%-103.9%. The average concentration of glucosinolates and macamides in Maca were 1.20% and 0.20%, respectively. Among four kinds of Maca grown in China, the concentration of glucosinolates in yellow Maca and black Maca were relatively high(1.55%), followed by white Maca(0.93%), and purple Maca(0.76%). The concentration of macamides in yellow, purple and white Maca was similar(0.23%-0.29%), however black Maca had significantly lower concentration(0.15%). Peru Maca tested in this study had the lowest concentration of these compounds. This qua-lity evaluation method was fast, accurate, and comprehensively reflects the concentration of the main chemical components in Maca, which provides a useful reference for the quality control and evaluation of Maca.

Abstract
Government trust is known to be associated with preventive practices during pandemics, but few studies have explored the roles of knowledge and negative emotion in conditioning the relationship between trust and preventive behaviors. The aim of this study was to explore the roles of knowledge and negative emotion in conditioning the relationship between trust and preventive measures during the COVID-19 pandemic in China. Data from a cross-sectional survey of 3000 Chinese adults [mean (SD) age 36.93 (12.11) years; 52.4% male], conducted using quota-sampling method (March 2-2020 to March 23-2020), were analyzed. Overall, respondents performed recommended preventive measures more frequently (3.21 out of 4) than excessive preventive measures (2.11 out of 4). Government trust was positively associated with both officially recommended (b = 0.12; 95%CI = 0.18, 0.25) and excessive preventive behaviors (b = 0.07; 95%CI = 0.03, 0.10). The positive relationship between trust and excessive preventive behaviors was found to be statistically significant only among those with low levels of COVID-19 knowledge. Officially recommended preventive behavior is most likely to happen when there is a combination of high levels of government trust and low levels of negative emotion. Therefore, government trust increases both official and excessive (sometimes unscientific) preventive behaviors. Interventions shall aim to enhance people's COVID-19 knowledge and to reduce negative emotions.

Abstract
In our study, we reported a novel CRF01_AE/B/C human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) recombinant form among six epidemiologically unlinked heterosexual patients in Yunnan, China. It was named CRF106_cpx (this is temporary as we have not received the circulating recombinant form [CRF] number from HIV databases). After sequencing and analyzing of the near full-length genome, we found that CRF106_cpx was generated by three B segments and two CRF01_AE segments inserted into the C backbone. There was quite a bit of diversity between sequences of CRF106_cpx, so this seems to be a CRF that has been spreading for many years.

Abstract
UNLABELLED Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) was related to a 1.28 times higher risk of osteoporosis. In addition, osteoporosis was associated with a 1.34 times higher risk of BPPV. This bidirectional relation was maintained after adjusting past medical histories and lifestyle factors, including obesity, smoking, and alcohol consumption. To our knowledge, this is the first study to explore the reciprocal association between BPPV and osteoporosis. In subgroup analyses, only women showed a reciprocal association between BPPV and osteoporosis. INTRODUCTION A previous population cohort study suggested an association between osteoporosis and benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). This study aimed to investigate the bidirectional association between BPPV and osteoporosis. METHODS The Korean National Health Insurance Service-Health Screening Cohort data from 2002 to 2013 were used. In study I, the 50,897 osteoporosis patients were 1:1 matched with control I participants for age, sex, income, and region of residence. The previous histories of BPPV were analyzed in both groups using conditional logistic regression analysis. In study II, 9621 BPPV patients were 1:4 matched with control II participants. The previous histories of osteoporosis were analyzed in both groups using conditional logistic regression analysis. According to age and sex, subgroup analyses were achieved in both studies I and II. RESULTS A total of 1.6% (822/50,897) of osteoporosis patients and 1.3% (644/50,897) of control I participants had BPPV. The osteoporosis patients demonstrated a 1.28 times higher chance of developing BPPV (95% confidence intervals [95% CI] = 1.16-1.42, P < 0.001). In study II, 21.2% (2040/9621) of BPPV patients and 17.6% (6790/38,484) of control II participants had osteoporosis. The BPPV patients showed 1.34 times higher chance of having osteoporosis (95% CI = 1.26-1.43, P < 0.001). In the analysis of the women subgroup, these relations were reliable. CONCLUSION Osteoporosis patients had increased odds of having BPPV. On the other hand, BPPV patients had increased odds of having osteoporosis. This bidirectional relation was consistent only in the women subgroup.

Abstract
This paper presents the required structure and function of a ring-FEL as a radiation source for extreme ultraviolet radiation lithography (EUVL). A 100 m-long straight section that conducts an extremely low emittance beam from a fourth-generation storage ring can increase the average power at 13.5 nm wavelength to up to 1 kW without degrading the beam in the rest of the ring. Here, simulation results for a ring-FEL as a EUVL source are described.

Abstract
During times of public crises, governments must act swiftly to communicate crisis information effectively and efficiently to members of the public; failure to do so will inevitably lead citizens to become fearful, uncertain and anxious in the prevailing conditions. This pioneering study systematically investigates how Chinese central government agencies used social media to promote citizen engagement during the COVID-19 crisis. Using data scraped from ‘Healthy China’, an official Sina Weibo account of the National Health Commission of China, we examine how citizen engagement relates to a series of theoretically relevant factors, including media richness, dialogic loop, content type and emotional valence. Results show that media richness negatively predicts citizen engagement through government social media, but dialogic loop facilitates engagement. Information relating to the latest news about the crisis and the government's handling of the event positively affects citizen engagement through government social media. Importantly, all relationships were contingent upon the emotional valence of each Weibo post. This study investigates how to promote citizen engagement through government social media during the COVID-19 crisis. Media richness negatively predicts citizen engagement, but dialogic loop facilitates engagement. Information relating to the latest news and the government's handling positively affects citizen engagement. All relationships were contingent upon the emotional valence of each Weibo post.

Abstract
Nylon 6,6 composite fiber containing grafted graphene (nylon 6,6-g-graphene) was prepared by nylon and graphene grafted with acyl chloride (graphene-COCl) through extrusion reaction. Graphene-COCl was prepared through acid-treated reacting, graphene with thionyl chloride functional group. The chemical structure of nylon 6,6-g-graphene obtained using reactive extrusion technique was characterized using Fourier transform infrared spectrometer. It was found that this kind of composite fiber has the characteristics of less amount of graphene and excellent mechanical properties and has certain application prospects. Nylon 6,6-g-graphene dispersed evenly in the Nylon composite. But pristine graphene exhibited aggregate structure when composite was produced by pristine graphene through reactive extrusion. The composite reinforcement was increased obviously with the increase content of grafted graphene. After examined, the nylon/nylon 6,6-g-graphene with a certain content grafted graphene composite exhibited high level of reinforcement, and mechanical properties were improved.

Abstract
PURPOSE We aimed to evaluate the success rate and complication occurrence of CT-guided localization of small pure ground-glass nodules (pGGNs) and mixed ground-glass nodules (mGGNs) with medical adhesive injection before video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS). METHODS From March 2015 to May 2017, 41 patients with 44 small pGGNs and mGGNs underwent CT-guided percutaneous localization with medical adhesive prior to wedge resection by VATS. RESULTS Localization with medical adhesive was successful in all patients (100%). The nodules (13 pGGNs, 31 mGGNs) had a mean maximal long-axis diameter of 9±4 mm and a mean distance of 10±7 mm from the most superficial edge of the nodule to the visceral pleura. The localization time was 16±8 minutes. There was a moderate inverse relationship between localization time and the nodule diameter (r= -0.42, P = 0.005). Thirty-three nodules with primary lung cancer were pathologically confirmed. There were 3 cases of pneumothorax (7%), 3 cases of parenchyma hemorrhage (7%) and 2 cases of irritable cough (5%), respectively. No conversion to thoracotomy was necessary in any patient. CONCLUSION CT-guided percutaneous localization with medical adhesive can label small pGGNs and mGGNs prior to VATS, with high success and low complication rates.

Abstract
Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+) B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) expressing BCR-ABL1 oncoprotein is a major subclass of ALL with poor prognosis. BCR-ABL1-expressing leukemic cells are highly dependent on double-strand break (DSB) repair signals for their survival. Here we report that a first-in-class HDAC1,2 selective inhibitor and doxorubicin (a hyper-CVAD chemotherapy regimen component) impair DSB repair networks in Ph+ B-cell precursor ALL cells using common as well as distinct mechanisms. The HDAC1,2 inhibitor but not doxorubicin alters nucleosomal occupancy to impact chromatin structure, as revealed by MNase-Seq. Quantitative mass spectrometry of the chromatin proteome along with functional assays showed that the HDAC1,2 inhibitor and doxorubicin either alone or in combination impair the central hub of DNA repair, the Mre11–Rad51–DNA ligase 1 axis, involved in BCR-ABL1-specific DSB repair signaling in Ph+ B-cell precursor ALL cells. HDAC1,2 inhibitor and doxorubicin interfere with DISC (DNA damage-induced transcriptional silencing in cis)) or transcriptional silencing program in cis around DSB sites via chromatin remodeler-dependent and -independent mechanisms, respectively, to further impair DSB repair. HDAC1,2 inhibitor either alone or when combined with doxorubicin decreases leukemia burden in vivo in refractory Ph+ B-cell precursor ALL patient-derived xenograft mouse models. Overall, our novel mechanistic and preclinical studies together demonstrate that HDAC1,2 selective inhibition can overcome DSB repair ‘addiction’ and provide an effective therapeutic option for Ph+ B-cell precursor ALL.

This paper is research on the distribution system’s simulation of large company’s logistics under Internet of Things (IoT) based on traveling salesman problem solution. The authors claim that the real-time traffic synergy is better than traditional distribution strategy in general, verifying and comparing the simulation results in different situations of goals and starting time distribution. The simulation method used in this paper makes the result more scientific and reliable. The simulation truly reflects the degree of influence of information synergy to improve the efficiency of logistics system. The information synergy had an obvious enhancing effect on system operation efficiency. Taking full advantage of the value of information and improving the information synergy to the best level have irreplaceable effect on system operation efficiency.

Abstract
Current clinical and translational studies have shown that mast cell plays a pivotal role in multiple fibrotic diseases including scleroderma. However, the lack of mature human mast cell culture model exhibits a major obstacle for further dissection of cytokines and signaling molecules required for mast cell mediated fibrosis in various diseases. Macrophage Migration Inhibitory Factor is a mast cell released pro-inflammatory cytokine which is deregulated in scleroderma patients and is also involved in non-scleroderma related fibrosis. In the current study, we successfully generated a practical and reliable human mast cell culture system with bone marrow CD34+ hematopietic precursors. The derivative mast cell is normal in terms of both morphology and function as manifested by normal degranulation. More importantly, we were able to show mast cell conditioned medium as well as MIF supplementation augments fibroblast proliferation and collagen synthesis. This positive regulatory effect of mast cell conditioned medium can be dampened by MIF antibody. In addition, MIF-knockdown significantly inhibits pro-fibrotic activities of CD34+ hematopietic precursor derived mast cells. These data strongly suggest that mast cell released MIF is required for mast cell mediated fibrogenic activities. The current manuscript seems to be the first mechanistic report showing the significance of MIF in mast cell mediated fibrosis, which may pave the way for the development of potential MIF-targeted therapy for fibrotic diseases to a further extent. Moreover, we strongly believe mast cell culture and differentiation model as well as corresponding genetic manipulation methodology will be helpful in characterizing novel mast cell based therapeutic targets.
