Abstract
OBJECTIVE Bipolar disorder is easily misdiagnosed with major depressive disorder (MDD). The Rapid Mood Screener (RMS) was developed to address this unmet clinical need. This study aims to translate and evaluated the reliability and validity of the RMS in Chinese adults with bipolar I/II disorder (BD-I/II). METHODS Brislin's translation and Delphi method were conducted to formulate the RMS-Chinses version (RMS-C). Patients with MDD (N = 99), BD-I (N = 77) and BD-II (N = 78) were included to assess the validity and reliability of RMS-C. The area under the curve (AUC) was computed to ascertain the ability of the Mood Disorder Questionnaire (MDQ) and RMS-C to distinguish BD-I and BD-II from MDD. The optimal cut-off scores for classification were also calculated by the maximum sensitivity and specificity. RESULTS The intraclass correlation coefficient of the RMS-C was 0.82 (95%CI, 0.71-0.89). The content validity index by six items were 0.71, 0.86, 1.00, 0.86, 1.00, and 1.00 in turn, and by scales was 0.90. The AUCs of the RMS-C in both BD-I/II, BD-I alone and BD-II alone were 0.83 (95 % CI, 0.78-0.89), 0.82 (95 % CI, 0.75-0.89) and 0.85 (95 % CI, 0.79-0.91), respectively, and were comparably to the MDQ. The optimal RMS-C values of the presence of BD-I and BD-II were >4 and 3, respectively. CONCLUSION The RMS-C is a valid, simple self-administer screening tool to help identify BD-I or BD-II in persons experiencing a depressive episode. Validating the impact of screening with the RMS-C on health outcomes and health economics is warranted.

Abstract
PURPOSE Nearly all patients with hip fractures undergo surgical treatment. The use of different anesthesia techniques during surgery may influence the clinical outcomes. The optimal anesthetic technique for patients undergoing hip fracture surgery is still controversial. We performed this updated systematic review and meta-analysis to compare clinical outcomes of patients undergoing hip fracture surgery with different anesthesia techniques. SOURCE Articles published from 2000 to May 2023 were included from MEDLINE, Embase, Web of Science, and the Cochrane Library. We included randomized controlled trials and observational studies comparing general anesthesia (GA) with regional anesthesia (RA) for the outcomes of 30-day mortality, 90-day mortality, in-hospital mortality, perioperative complications, length of hospital stay, and length of surgery in patients undergoing hip fracture surgery. Subgroup analyses were performed for the outcomes based on study design (randomized controlled trials or observational studies). We used a random-effects model for all analyses. PRINCIPAL FINDINGS In this meta-analysis, we included 12 randomized controlled trials. There was no difference in postoperative 30-day mortality between the two groups (odds ratio [OR], 0.88; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.44 to 1.74; I2 = 0%). The incidence of intraoperative hypotension was lower in patients who received RA vs GA (OR, 0.52; 95% CI, 0.38 to 0.72; I2 = 0%). No significant differences were observed in 90-day mortality, in-hospital mortality, postoperative delirium, pneumonia, myocardial infarction, venous thromboembolism, length of surgery, and length of hospital stay. CONCLUSION In this updated systematic review and meta-analysis, RA did not reduce postoperative 30-day mortality in hip fracture surgery patients compared to GA. Fewer patients receiving RA had intraoperative hypotension than those receiving GA did. Apart from intraoperative hypotension, the data showed no differences in complications between the two anesthetic techniques. STUDY REGISTRATION PROSPERO (CRD42023411854); registered 7 April 2023.

Abstract
Under deep mining conditions, rocks are subjected to complex multi-physical fields and can contain numerous pores and fractures. To explore the influence and correlation of these factors on the physical and mechanical properties of fractured rock samples, this study conducted triaxial compression tests on sandstone specimens under various physical conditions using a rock full stress multi-field coupling triaxial tester. Additionally, a random fracture model for multi-field coupling numerical simulation was established. This allowed the study to obtain the mechanical parameters, failure mode, and internal fracture development of rocks under multi-physical field conditions. By analyzing the complete stress-strain curve, mechanical characteristic points, and permeability, a combination of laboratory tests and numerical simulations was used to examine how temperature, seepage, and stress fields affect the development of pores and fractures in rocks. It was found that the temperature field, under conventional geothermal conditions, generates tensile force through thermal expansion and the presence of fluid, thereby promoting fracture development within the rocks. This mechanism is similar to that of seepage. The confining pressure caused by deep geo stress uniformly inhibits the expansion of pores and fissures within the rocks.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Sepsis, described as an inflammatory reaction to an infection, is a very social health problem with high mortality. This study aims to explore the new mechanism in the progression of sepsis. METHODS We downloaded the GSE69528 dataset to screen differentially expressed genes (DEGs) for WGCNA, in which the key module was identified and analyzed by DMNC algorithm, expression verification and ROC curve analysis to identify the hub gene. Furthermore, the hub gene was analyzed by immunoassay, and the potential mechanism of hub gene in neutrophils was investigated by in vitro experiments. RESULTS The turquoise module was the key module for sepsis in WGCNA on 94 DEGs. The top 20 genes of DMNC network were verified in GSE69528 and GSE9960, and 10 significant genes were obtained for ROC analysis. Based on the ROC curves, HP was considered the hub gene in sepsis, and its expression difference in sepsis and control groups was substantially significant. Further, it was demonstrated the knockdown of HP and PFKFB3 could suppress glycolysis and inflammatory cytokine levels in dHL-60 cell treated with LPS. CONCLUSION In conclusion, HP is identified as a potential diagnostic indicator for sepsis patients, and HP promotes neutrophil inflammatory activation by regulating PFKFB2 in the glycolytic metabolism of sepsis confirmed by in vitro experiments. These will help us deepen the molecular mechanism of sepsis.

Abstract
PURPOSE Tenosynovial giant cell tumour (TGCT) is a benign hyperplastic and inflammatory disease of the joint synovium or tendon sheaths, which may be misdiagnosed due to its atypical symptoms and imaging features. We aimed to identify biomarkers with high sensitivity and specificity to aid in diagnosing TGCT. METHODS Two scRNA-seq datasets (GSE210750 and GSE152805) and two microarray datasets (GSE3698 and GSE175626) were downloaded from the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database. By integrating the scRNA-seq datasets, we discovered that the osteoclasts are abundant in TGCT in contrast to the control. The single-sample gene set enrichment analysis (ssGSEA) further validated this discovery. Differentially expressed genes (DEGs) of the GSE3698 dataset were screened and the Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathway enrichment analyses of DEGs were conducted. Osteoclast-specific up-regulated genes (OCSURGs) were identified by intersecting the osteoclast marker genes in the scRNA-seq and the up-regulated DEGs in the microarray and by the least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) regression algorithm. The expression levels of OCSURGs were validated by an external dataset GSE175626. Then, single gene GSEA, protein-protein interaction (PPI) network, and gene-drug network of OCSURGs were performed. RESULT 22 seurat clusters were acquired and annotated into 10 cell types based on the scRNA-seq data. TGCT had a larger population of osteoclasts compared to the control. A total of 159 osteoclast marker genes and 104 DEGs (including 61 up-regulated genes and 43 down-regulated genes) were screened from the scRNA-seq analysis and the microarray analysis. Three OCSURGs (MMP9, SPP1, and TYROBP) were finally identified. The AUC of the ROC curve in the training and testing datasets suggested a favourable diagnostic capability. The PPI network results illustrated the protein-protein interaction of each OCSURG. Drugs that potentially target the OCSURGs were predicted by the DGIdb database. CONCLUSION MMP9, SPP1, and TYROBP were identified as osteoclast-specific up-regulated genes of the tenosynovial giant cell tumour via bioinformatic analysis, which had a reasonable diagnostic efficiency and served as potential drug targets.

Abstract
Acute lung injury (ALI) is a life-threatening disease that currently lacks a cure. Although stem cell-derived small extracellular vesicles (sEVs) have shown promising effects in the treatment of ALI, their underlying mechanisms and responsible components have yet to be identified. Proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 6 (PCSK6) is a gene involved in inflammation and a potential target of miR-21-5p, a microRNA enriched in stem cell-derived sEVs. The current study investigated the role of PCSK6 in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced ALI and its interaction with miR-21-5p. Notably, our results showed that PCSK6 expression was positively correlated with LPS stimulation. Knockdown of PCSK6 ameliorated LPS-induced inhibition of proliferation and upregulation of permeability in human BEAS-2B cells, whereas PCSK6 overexpression displayed the opposite effects. BEAS-2B cells were able to actively internalize the cocultured bone mesenchymal stem cell (MSC)-derived sEVs (BMSC-sEVs), which alleviated the cell damage caused by LPS. Overexpressing PCSK6, however, eliminated the therapeutic effects of BMSC-sEV coculture. Mechanistically, BMSC-sEVs inhibited PCSK6 expression via the delivery of miR-21-5p, which is directly bound to the PCSK6 gene. Our work provides evidence for the role of PCSK6 in LPS-induced ALI and identified miR-21-5p as a component of BMSC-derived sEVs that suppressed PCSK6 expression and ameliorated LPS-induced cell damage. These results reveal a novel molecular mechanism for ALI pathogenesis and highlight the therapeutic potential of using sEVs released by stem cells to deliver miR-21-5p for ALI treatment.

Abstract
It remains unclear whether the relationship between type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and bone mineral density (BMD) reflects causality in East Asian populations. Herein, a Mendelian randomization study conducted in East Asian population enhances the current clinical cognition that T2DM is not associated with reduction in BMD. PURPOSE A Mendelian randomization (MR) approach was utilized to investigate the relationship between type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and bone mineral density (BMD) in East Asian populations. METHODS Genome-wide association study summary data from BioBank Japan were used to identify genetic variants strongly related to T2DM risk (36,614 cases and 155,150 controls) and osteoporosis (7788 cases and 204,665 controls). Heel BMD GWAS data of 1260 East Asian people from ieu open gwas project was considered as a second outcome. Inverse variance-weighted (IVW) analysis was mainly applied; MR-Egger and the weighted median were also used to obtain robust estimates. A series of sensitivity analyses including Cochran's Q test, MR-Egger regression, and leave-one-out analysis were used to detect pleiotropy or heterogeneity. RESULTS In the main analysis, IVW estimates indicated that T2DM significantly associated with the risk of osteoporosis (odds ratio = 0.92, 95% CI: 0.86-0.99, p = 0.016) and with higher BMD (OR: 1.25, 95% CI: 1.06-1.46, p = 6.49 × 10-3). Results of comprehensive sensitivity analysis were consistent with the main causality estimate. Horizontal pleiotropy and heterogeneity were absent in our MR study. CONCLUSIONS T2DM is not associated with reduction in BMD in terms of genetic polymorphism in East Asian populations.

Abstract
Background Lesion size is a major determinant of treatment strategies and predictor of clinical outcomes for osteochondral lesions of the talus (OLTs). Although magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has been commonly used in the preoperative evaluation of OLTs, MRI has low reliability and usually overestimates or underestimates lesion size compared with intraoperative assessment. This study aims to determine whether the surface microscopy coil (SMC) can improve the accuracy of assessment of preoperative OLTs compared with conventional coil MRI, ankle joint special phased array coil (ASC). Methods A total of 43 patients diagnosed with OLTs undertook preoperative MRI examination with both SMC and ASC were included in this prospective study from 2019 to 2022. The diameter of the lesion was measured in sagittal plane and coronal plane at its widest point and then the lesion area was calculated. Then MRI measurements were compared with arthroscopy or open-surgery measurements. Results The mean lesion area measured with ASC was significantly greater than that measured intraoperatively (95.07±44.60 vs. 52.74±29.86 mm2, P<0.001), while there was no significant difference between lesion area measured in SMC and intraoperatively (55.28±36.06 vs. 52.74±29.86 mm2, P=0.576). Diameter measured in ASC was significantly greater than that measured intraoperatively in both coronal plane (8.95±2.48 vs. 6.67±1.81, P<0.001) and sagittal plane (13.12±3.76 vs. 9.58±3.98, P<0.001). No significant difference between lesion diameter measured in SMC and intraoperatively in both coronal plane (6.44±2.59 vs. 6.67±1.81, P=0.608) or sagittal plane (10.23±3.69 vs. 9.58±3.98, P=0.194). Compared with surgical assessment, 39 of 43 cases were consistent with SMC assessment while only 26 of 43 cases were consistent with ASC assessment (39/43 vs. 26/43, P=0.002). Conclusions Diameter measured with SMC was much more accurate than ASC MRI. Compared with ASC MRI, the SMC had a much higher concordance rate between preoperative assessment and surgical assessment.

Abstract
Introduction Sepsis is a common but serious disease in intensive care units, which may induce multiple organ dysfunctions such as liver injury. Previous studies have demonstrated that gamma delta (γδ) T cells play a protective role in sepsis. However, the function and mechanism of γδ T cells in sepsis-induced liver injury have not been fully elucidated. IL-17A-producing γδ T cells are a newly identified cell subtype. Methods We utilized IL-17A-deficient mice to investigate the role of IL-17A-producing γδ T cells in sepsis using the cecum ligation and puncture (CLP) model. Results Our findings suggested that these cells were the major source of IL-17A and protected against sepsis-induced liver injury. Flow cytometry analysis revealed that these γδ T cells expressed Vγ4 TCR and migrated into liver from peripheral post CLP, in a CCR6-dependent manner. When CLP mice were treated with anti-CCR6 antibody to block CCR6-CCL20 axis, the recruitment of Vγ4+ γδ T cells was abolished, indicating a CCR6-dependent manner of migration. Interestingly, pseudo germ-free CLP mice treated with antibiotics showed that hepatic IL-17A+ γδ T cells were regulated by gut commensal microbes. E. coli alone were able to restore the protective effect in pseudo germ-free mice by rescuing hepatic IL-17A+ γδ T cell population. Conclusion Our research has shown that Vγ4+ IL-17A+ γδ T cells infiltrating into the liver play a crucial role in protecting against sepsis-induced liver injury. This protection was contingent upon the recruitment of CCR6 and regulated by gut commensal microbes.

Abstract
The goaf formed by mining is filled and treated, which greatly improves the safety and stability of the surrounding rock. During the filling process, the roof-contacted filling rates (RCFR) of goaf were closely related to the stability control of the surrounding rock. The influence of the roof-contacted filling rate on the mechanical characteristics and crack propagation of the goaf surrounding rock (GSR) has been studied. Biaxial compression experiments and numerical simulation experiments were conducted on samples under different operating conditions. The results were as follows: (1) The peak stress, peak strain, and elastic modulus of the GSR are closely related to the RCFR and the goaf size; they increase with the increase of the RCFR, and decrease with the increase of the goaf size; (2) In the initial loading stage, a small number of cracks are generated, and the acoustic emission ringing count increases slowly. The mid-loading stage is the crack initiation and rapid expansion, and the cumulative ring count curve shows a "stepwise" growth. In the later loading stage, cracks continue to propagate and form macroscopic fractures, but the number of rings significantly decreases; (3) Shear cracks are prone to occur in the rock part of the GSR; tensile cracks are prone to occur in the backfill; and the crack propagation speed in the rock is faster than in the backfill. Stress concentration is the direct cause of GSR failure. The maximum concentrated stress of rock mass and backfill is 1~2.5 times and 0.17~0.7 times of the peak stress of the GSR, respectively.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Nakagami imaging is an appealing monitoring and evaluation technique for high-intensity focused ultrasound treatment when bubbles are present in ultrasound images. This study aimed to investigate the accuracy of thermal lesion detection using Nakagami imaging. METHODS Simulations were conducted to explore and quantify the influence of the bubbles and the subresolvable effect at the boundary of the thermal lesion on thermal lesion detection. The thermal ablation experiments were conducted in phantom and porcine liver ex vivo. RESULTS In the simulation, the estimated lateral and axial size of the thermal lesion in the Nakagami image was 4.91 and 4.79 mm, close to the actual size (5 × 5 mm). The simulation results indicated that the subresolvable region in high-intensity focused ultrasound treatment thermal ablation mainly happened at the boundary between bubbles and the untreated region and does not affect the accuracy of thermal lesion detection. The accurate detection of the thermal lesion using Nakagami imaging mainly depends on bubbles and thermal lesion characterization. Our thermal ablation experiments confirmed that Nakagami imaging has the ability to accurately identify thermal lesions from bubbles. CONCLUSION The subresolvable effect is helpful for thermal lesion identification, and precision is related to the Nakagami values chosen for boundary division in Nakagami imaging. Therefore, Nakagami imaging is a promising method for accurately evaluating thermal lesions. Further studies in vivo and in clinical settings will be needed to explore its potential applications.

Abstract
To explore the hydration characteristics and early strength evolution of classified fine tailings cemented backfill (CFTCB), a nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) analysis and a volume resistivity test were performed on classified fine tailings filling slurry (CFTFS). The early hydration products of CFTCB were studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) phase analysis. Uniaxial compressive strength (UCS) test was carried out, and the microscopic characteristics and strength rules of the hydration reaction of CFTCB were analyzed. Based on the experiment, we found the law of water content change and porosity evolution. The early hydration reaction can be divided into the dissolution, setting, and hardening stages. The volume resistivity test results show that the volume resistance of filling slurry increases slowly at first then decreases, and finally increases rapidly. The variation trend of volume resistivity is related to the degree of hydration reaction. When combined with the hydration characteristics of backfill materials, the hydration reaction rate determines the growth rate of early strength of backfill, and the formation of hydration products is the reason for the early strength increase in backfill. The research conclusion has an important theoretical guiding value and engineering significance in mine filling production organization and filling ratio parameter optimization.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES Mutation in human FAM134B gene has been implicated in hereditary sensory and autonomic neuropathy type IIB. We aimed to knock out Fam134b in mice and explored its phenotypes to determine whether the genetic impairments and behavioral changes can mirror manifestations noted in humans. METHODS We used CRISPR/Cas9 technology to knockout the Fam134b gene in the C57BL/6 J mouse. After confirming the knockout was successful by Sanger sequencing and Western blot, sensory function was measured using the hot plate test and the 50% paw withdrawal threshold test. In addition, standard microscopy and transmission electron microscopy were performed to observe the structural changes of the dorsal root ganglion sensory neuron and the sciatic nerve. RESULTS DNA sequencing and Western blot analysis confirmed the mutation in the Fam134b mutation gene and the loss of expression of its products. Fam134b knockout mice exhibited heat pain insensitivity and mechanical hyperalgesia. Interestingly, limb damage was found in some homozygotes. Demyelination in the sciatic nerve was common. Golgi bodies were turgid in dorsal root ganglion neuron. CONCLUSIONS These findings indicate that peripheral neuropathy is common in Fam134b KO mice. We believe this novel animal model is likely to have significant future potential as a reliable model for the evaluation of peripheral neuropathy and its complications.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The presence of heterogenous somatic symptoms frequently obscures the recognition of depression in primary care. We aimed to explore the association between somatic symptoms and subthreshold depression (SD) and Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), as well as to determine the predictive potential of somatic symptoms in identifying SD and MDD in primary care. METHODS Data were derived from the Depression Cohort in China study (ChiCTR registry number: 1900022145). The Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) was used to assess SD by trained general practitioners (GPs), and the Mini International Neuropsychiatric Interview depression module was used to diagnose MDD by professional psychiatrists. Somatic symptoms were assessed using the 28-item Somatic Symptoms Inventory (SSI). RESULTS In total of 4,139 participants aged 18-64 years recruited from 34 primary health care settings were included. The prevalence of all 28 somatic symptoms increased in a dose-dependent manner from non-depressed controls to SD, and to MDD (P for trend <0.001). Hierarchical clustering analysis grouped the 28 heterogeneous somatic symptoms into three clusters (Cluster 1: energy-related symptoms, Cluster 2: vegetative symptoms, and Cluster 3: muscle, joint, and central nervous symptoms). Following adjustment for potential confounders and the other two clusters of symptoms, per 1 increase of energy-related symptoms exhibited significant association with SD (OR = 1.24, 95% CI, 1.18-1.31) and MDD (OR = 1.50, 95% CI, 1.41-1.60) The predictive performance of energy-related symptoms in identifying individuals with SD (AUC = 0.715, 95% CI, 0.697-0.732) and MDD (AUC = 0.941, 95% CI, 0.926-0.963) was superior to the performance of total SSI and the other two clusters (P < 0.05). CONCLUSIONS Somatic symptoms were associated with the presence of SD and MDD. In addition, somatic symptoms, notably those related to energy, showed good predictive potential in identifying SD and MDD in primary care. The clinical implication of the present study is that GPs should consider the closely related somatic symptoms for early recognition for depression in practice.

Abstract
Icariside II, as a favonoid compound derived from epimedium, has been proved to involed in a variety of biological and pharmacological effects such as anti-inflammatory, anti-osteoporosis, anti-oxidation, anti-aging, and anti-cancer but its mechanism is unclear, especially in terms of its effect on post-transcriptional modification of endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS). Phosphorylation of eNOS plays an important role in the synthesis of nitric oxide in endothelial cells, which is closely related to erectile dysfunction, atherosclerosis, Alzheimer's disease, and other diseases. Our study aims to investigate the effect and mechanism of Icariside II on the rapid phosphorylation of eNOS. In this study, human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) were stimulated with Icariside II in the presence or absence of multiple inhibitors (1 µM), including LY294002 (PI3K-inhibitor), MK-2206 (AKT-inhibitor), Bisindolylmaleimide X (AMPK-inhibitor), H-89 (CaMKII-inhibitor), KN-62 (PKA-inhibitor), Dorsomorphin (PKC-inhibitor). The proliferation of HUVECs was assessed using cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8). The release of nitric oxide (NO) within HUVECs was detected via fluorescence probe (DAF-FM). Western blot was used to examine the effect of Icariside II on the expression of eNOS, phosphorylation of eNOS, and common signaling pathways proteins. In this study, Icariside II was found to promote the cell proliferation and rapid NO release in HUVECs. The phosphorylation of eNOS-Ser1177 was significantly increased after Icariside II stimulation and reached a peak at 10 min (p < 0.05). Meanwhile, the phosphorylation of eNOS-Thr495 was significantly decreased after 45 min of stimulation (p < 0.05). Following the intervention with multiple inhibitors, it was found that MK-2206 (AKT inhibitor), LY294002 (PI3K inhibitor), KN-62 (AMPK inhibitor), and Bisindolylmaleimide X (PKC inhibitor) could significantly inhibit the phosphorylation of eNOS-Ser1177 caused by Icariside II (p < 0.05), while MK-2206, LY294002, and Bisindolylmaleimide X reversed the alleviated phosphorylation of eNOS-Thr495. We concluded that Icariside can regulate rapid phosphorylation of eNOS- Ser1177 and eNOS-Thr495 via multiple signaling pathways, resulting in the up-regulation of eNOS and the increased release of NO.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Suboptimal medication adherence is a major reason for failure in the management of major depressive disorder (MDD), childhood trauma might be an essential risk factor of suboptimal medication adherence. This study aimed to comprehensively explore the associations between different types of childhood trauma and medication adherence among patients with MDD, and to test whether resilience has moderating effects on the foregoing associations. METHODS Participants were from the Depression Cohort in China (ChiCTR registry number 1900022145), 282 MDD patients with completed both baseline and 12-weeks follow-up investigations were included in this study. The diagnosis of MDD was assessed by trained psychiatrists using the Mini-International Neuropsychiatric Interview (M.I.N.I.). Childhood trauma was evaluated using the Childhood Trauma Questionnaire-28 item Short Form (CTQ-SF), and resilience was evaluated using the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC). Demographic characteristics, depression symptoms, anxiety symptoms, suicidal ideation, suicidal attempt, insomnia symptoms, and painful somatic symptoms were also investigated. Participants were divided into groups of optimal and suboptimal adherence based on their Medication Adherence Rating Scale scores. Logistic regression and stratified analyses were performed. RESULTS A total of 234 participants (83%) reported suboptimal medication adherence. After adjusting for covariates, CTQ total scores (AOR = 1.03, 95%CI = 1.01-1.06), CTQ measures of sexual abuse (AOR = 1.17, 95%CI = 1.01-1.37), and CTQ measures of physical neglect (AOR = 1.12, 95%CI = 1.02-1.23) were all associated with an increased likelihood of suboptimal adherence. There were significant moderating effects of resilience on the associations of childhood trauma (P = 0.039) and physical neglect (P = 0.034) with medication adherence. The stratification analyses showed that CTQ total scores and CTQ measures of physical neglect were independently associated with an increased risk of suboptimal adherence among patients with MDD with low-resilience or moderate-resilience, while not significantly associated with suboptimal adherence in those with high-resilience. CONCLUSION Childhood trauma was a significant risk factor of suboptimal adherence among patients with MDD, and resilience moderated the foregoing association. Obtaining a history of childhood trauma and assessing resilience may help identify patients with suboptimal adherence when providing MDD pharmacotherapy. Psychiatrists may consider enhancing resilience to cope with the adverse effects of childhood trauma on medication adherence.

Abstract
This study determined the physical and mechanical characteristics of fresh black fungus during the harvesting season to provide basic data for the development of mechanical equipment for black fungus harvesting and processing. We have conducted a comprehensive test of black fungus cultivars "Heishan". The mono-factor separation force experiments of black fungus and black fungus virgulate medium were conducted. It was noted that the tension angle was an important factor affecting the separation force, which was mainly distributed between 1.06 and 3.65 N. Besides, the average value of Poisson's ratio of black fungus was measured to be 0.445 in the tensile test of black fungus leaves using image recognition and analysis techniques, with a test error within 2.5%; and the average value of tensile elastic modulus and shear elastic modulus of black fungus leaves was 0.947 MPa and 0.327 MPa, respectively; we also found that the average tensile strength at the root of black fungus was not significantly different from that at the leaf, which was around 0.436 MPa. In addition, it was obtained that the height and thickness dimensions of black fungus in the picking season conformed to a normal distribution, and concentrated around 34.39mm and 0.92mm respectively.

Abstract
Objective Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has been used to treat Parkinson's disease (PD), but the efficacy is still not clear. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of the integrated Chinese and Western medicine (ICWM) for PD through a meta-analysis. Methods We searched randomized controlled trials comparing integrated Chinese and Western medicine (ICWM) versus conventional Western medicine (CWM) for Parkinson's disease. Data were extracted from eligible studies. We sought to evaluate pretreatment and posttreatment symptoms of PD patients and their quality of life and reduce adverse reactions. The results were expressed as risk ratio (RR) and mean difference (MD) with accompanying 95% confidence intervals. Results Twenty-three studies were included in this study with a total of 1769 patients. The pooled results revealed that ICWM significantly improved the UPDRS score than CWM, the MD of UPDRS-I, II, III, and IV was -1.05 (95% CI: -1.42 to -0.69, P < 0.00001), -2.55 (95% CI: -3.19 to -1.90, P < 0.00001), -3.64 (95% CI: -4.69 to -2.60, P < 0.00001), and -0.61 (95% CI: -0.96 to -0.27, P = 0.0004), respectively, and ICWM also had a better score of PDQ-39 (MD = -8.71, 95% CI: -13.52 to -3.90, P = 0.0004) and MoCA scores (MD = 3.35, 95% CI: 1.65 to 5.04, P = 0.0001) compared with CWM. ICWM had certain advantages in terms of effective rate (RR = 1.27, 95% CI: 1.18 to 1.37, P < 0.00001) and adverse reactions (RR = 0.21, 95% CI: 0.13 to 0.36, P < 0.00001). Conclusion Our research supported that ICWM had important health benefits for patients with PD and can effectively improve the symptoms of PD patients and their quality of life and reduce adverse reactions. Due to the lower quality of the included studies, large sample and multicenter randomized control test should be performed to verify our conclusions.

Abstract
BackgroundThis study reported the individual surgical treatment of 12 cases with stage IV Müller-Weiss disease (MWD) according to CT/MRI examination.MethodsIn total, 12 cases diagnosed with stage IV MWD in our hospital from 2015 to 2019 were included in the retrospective study. Relevant clinical outcomes were evaluated preoperatively and postoperatively.ResultsThe follow-up results showed satisfactory outcomes in all cases. All the cases were presented with tenderness and chronic pain on the midfoot dorsum, and three cases were also presented with tenderness and pain on the lateral side of the midfoot, in which calcaneal cuboid arthritis was revealed by CT/MRI. The American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) scores elevated from 62.5 ± 6.8 (range: 53–74) preoperatively to 95.3 ± 7.2 (range: 73–100) postoperatively (P < 0.005). The Visual Analog Scale (VAS) scores declined from 4.2 ± 0.9 (range: 3–5.5) preoperatively to 0.5 ± 0.3 (range: 0–2) postoperatively (P < 0.001). On the weight-bearing lateral view of the foot, the Tomeno-Méary angle (TM lat) changed from −11.2 ± 4.2 (range: −17.2 to −2.8) degrees preoperatively to −2.4 ± 3.9 (range: −10.2 to 5.2) degrees postoperatively (P < 0.001).ConclusionsThe fusion of the talus-navicular joint and the adjacent affected joint provide good clinical outcomes. The CT/MRI scans are helpful to identify the adjacent joint arthritis and provide indications for individual treatment for Stage IV MWD.

Abstract
Objective: Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common chronic degenerative joint disease, which represents the leading cause of age-related disability. Here, this study aimed to depict the intercellular heterogeneity of OA synovial tissues. Methods: Single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) data were preprocessed and quality controlled by the Seurat package. Cell cluster was presented and cell types were annotated based on the mRNA expression of corresponding marker genes by the SingleR package. Cell-cell communication was assessed among different cell types. After integrating the GSE55235 and GSE55457 datasets, differentially expressed genes were identified between OA and normal synovial tissues. Then, differentially expressed marker genes were overlapped and their biological functions were analyzed. Results: Totally, five immune cell subpopulations were annotated in OA synovial tissues including macrophages, dendritic cells, T cells, monocytes and B cells. Pseudo-time analysis revealed the underlying evolution process in the inflammatory microenvironment of OA synovial tissue. There was close crosstalk between five cell types according to the ligand-receptor network. The genetic heterogeneity was investigated between OA and normal synovial tissues. Furthermore, functional annotation analysis showed the intercellular heterogeneity across immune cells in OA synovial tissues. Conclusion: This study offered insights into the heterogeneity of OA, which provided in-depth understanding of the transcriptomic diversities within synovial tissue. This transcriptional heterogeneity may improve our understanding on OA pathogenesis and provide potential molecular therapeutic targets for OA.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) is a common chronic sleep disorder. OSAS is closely related to cardiovascular disease, metabolic disorders, cancer risk, and sudden death. This association has special significance in young people. Although it is known that OSAS has a great impact on physical health, it is estimated that 70-80% of patients with moderate-to-severe OSAS remain undiagnosed. Therefore, a new method for early diagnosis of the disease, the therapeutic effect of OSAS and prevention of complications to important. METHODS A total of 110 patients with moderate-to-severe OSAS diagnosed in the Sleep Disorders Diagnosis and Treatment Center of Peking University Shenzhen Hospital were selected. After excluding other diseases, 59 patients were finally selected as the OSAS group. In addition, 60 healthy people were selected as the control group. Serum RNA was then extracted. Eight RNA samples were randomly selected from the two groups for high-throughput miRNA sequencing. The 10 miRNAs with the greatest differences were selected as preselected markers from the results. Then, qRT-PCR was performed on the remaining RNA samples of the two groups to extract and verify the 10 miRNAs, and statistical analysis was performed between groups. RESULTS A diagnostic panel was constructed by a stepwise logistic regression model combined with the expression data of miRNAs in the validation phase. A four-miRNA panel was identified to better predict OSAS, and the model was calculated using the following formula: Logit (P)= 0.77-1.65 × miR-486-5p - 4.56 × miR-148a-3p + 1.79 × miR-744-5p + 1.13 × let-7d-3p. The AUC for the four-miRNA panel was 0.955 (95% CI: 0.899 to 0.985; sensitivity = 91.38%, specificity = 91.38%). Gene Ontology (GO) annotation and Kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes (KEGG) pathway analysis was included in bioinformatic analysis. CONCLUSION A 4-miRNAs panel as a diagnostic biomarker for OSAS screening is feasible.

Abstract
Objective: Auditory P50 gating changed might be a neurophysiological biomarker of the diagnosis of Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI). We aimed to determine the impact of MCI in auditory P50 gating. Methods: All recruited participants completed structured questionnaires and finished auditory P50 gating measure. Results: A total of 20 MCI patients and 17 controls had been recruited. MCI patients had a significant higher reduction of P50 gating at Fz site, when compared to controls (1.21 ± .68 vs .66 ± .37, P = .00). Zero point five was the best cut off point to distinguish MCI and control of auditory P50 gating S2/S1 at Fz site. The P50 average amplitude at Pz site in MCI patients was significantly higher than controls (2.62 ± 1.20 vs 1.70 ± .74, P = .01). Conclusion: MCI patients might have impaired the ability of inhibiting the repeated stimulus.

Abstract
Background Previous studies have identified the treatment effect of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) on cravings of patients with methamphetamine use disorder (MUD). However, the mechanism underlying the treatment effect remains largely unknown. A potential candidate mechanism could be that rTMS over the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) modulates the attention bias to methamphetamine-related cues. The purpose of this study is therefore to determine the modulation of rTMS on methamphetamine-related attention bias and the corresponding electrophysiological changes. Methods Forty-nine patients with severe MUD were included for analysis. The subjects were randomized to receive the active intermittent theta-burst stimulation (iTBS) or sham iTBS targeting DLPFC for 20 sessions. Participants performed the Addiction Stroop Task before and after the treatment while being recorded by a 64-channel electroencephalogram. Baseline characteristics were collected through the Addiction Severity Index. Results Post-treatment evaluations showed a reduced error rate in discriminating the color of methamphetamine words in the active iTBS group compared with the sham iTBS group. Following rTMS treatment, we found the significant time-by-group effect for the N1 amplitude (methamphetamine words > neutral words) and P3 latency (methamphetamine words > neutral words). The change of N1 amplitude was positively correlated with cravings in the active group. Moreover, reduced power of neural oscillation in the beta band, manifesting at frontal central areas, was also found in the active group. Conclusion This study suggests that attention bias and the beta oscillation during the attentional processing of methamphetamine words in patients with MUD could be modulated by iTBS applied to left DLPFC.

Abstract
A self-powered, high-performance Ti3 C2 Tx MXene/GaN van der Waals heterojunction (vdWH)-based ultraviolet (UV) photodiode is reported. Such integration creates a Schottky junction depth that is larger than the UV absorption depth to sufficiently separate the photoinduced electron/hole pairs, boosting the peak internal quantum efficiency over the unity and the external quantum efficiency over 99% under weak UV light without bias. The proposed Ti3 C2 Tx /GaN vdWH UV photodiode demonstrates pronounced photoelectric performances working in self-powered mode, including a large responsivity (284 mA W-1 ), a high specific detectivity (7.06 × 1013 Jones), and fast response speed (rise/decay time of 7.55 µs/1.67 ms). Furthermore, the remarkable photovoltaic behavior leads to an impressive power conversion efficiency of 7.33% under 355 nm UV light illumination. Additionally, this work presents an easy-processing spray-deposition route for the fabrication of large-area UV photodiode arrays that exhibit highly uniform cell-to-cell performance. The MXene/GaN photodiode arrays with high-efficiency and self-powered ability show high potential for many applications, such as energy-saving communication, imaging, and sensing networks.

Abstract
BACKGROUND We conducted the first real-world study of treatment with omalizumab, a humanized monoclonal anti-immunoglobulin E antibody, in Chinese patients with severe allergic asthma. OBJECTIVE The primary objective was the steroid-sparing effect of omalizumab after 12 and 16 weeks of treatment. Characteristics of the patient population, treatment patterns, response rate, and other measures of therapeutic effectiveness were also reported. METHODS This nationwide, retrospective, real-world study was conducted in patients with severe allergic asthma who were treated with omalizumab in China. Data, including demographics, Asthma Control Test (ACT) and laboratory and lung function test results, and omalizumab use information, were extracted from patient records collected as part of a previously conducted real-world survey (Asthma Group of the Respiratory Disease Society of the Chinese Medical Association). RESULTS In total, 139 patient records were included; 131 and 118 patients remained on treatment at the ≥12- and ≥16-week time points, respectively. The mean ± standard deviation age and median asthma duration (interquartile range) were 47.4 ± 14.3 and 7 (4, 15) years, respectively; 75.6% of patients had a history of allergic disease. Reductions (versus baseline) in inhaled corticosteroid/long-acting β2 agonists or oral corticosteroids were reported in 61.1% and 63.6% of patients at ≥12 and ≥ 16 weeks, respectively. There were significant improvements in ACT scores (6.08, P < .001) and nitric oxide fraction in exhaled air (-13.0, P = .01) from baseline. Multivariate analysis revealed that age and allergic medical history were predictors of omalizumab treatment response. No serious adverse events were reported. CONCLUSION Real-world omalizumab treatment was efficacious and well-tolerated in Chinese patients with severe allergic asthma.

Abstract
Interfacial engineering and heterostructures designing are two efficient routes to improve photoelectric characteristics of a photodetector. Herein, a Ti3 C2 MXene/Si heterojunction photodetector with ultrahigh specific detectivity (2.03 × 1013 Jones) and remarkable responsivity (402 mA W-1 ) at zero external bias without decline as with increasing the light power is reported. This is achieved by chemically regrown interfacial SiOx layer and the control of Ti3 C2 MXene thickness to suppress the dark noise current and improve the photoresponse. The photodetector demonstrates a high light on/off ratio of over 106 , an outstanding peak external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 60.3%, while it maintains an ultralow dark current at 0 V bias. Moreover, the device holds high performance with EQE of over 55% even after encapsulated with silicone, trying to resolve the air stability issue of Ti3 C2 MXene. Such a photodetector with high detectivity, high responsivity, and self-powered capability is particularly applicable to detect weak light signal, which presents high potential for imaging, communication and sensing applications.

Abstract
Osteosarcoma (OS) is a primary malignant tumor characterized by a high metastatic potential and poor prognosis. The dysregulation of miR-588 has been demonstrated to serve crucial roles in the progression of numerous types of cancer. The present study aimed to investigate the expression and function of miR-588 in the development of OS. To do so, clinical samples were collected and analyzed, and in vitro experiments were conducted. A total of 104 patients with OS were recruited between 2012 and 2014. The expression of miR-588 was analyzed by reverse transcription quantitative PCR. The association between miR-588 expression and the clinicopathological characteristics and survival rate of patients with OS was evaluated. Furthermore, Cell Counting Kit-8 and Transwell assays were used to evaluate the effect of miR-588 on the proliferation and the migratory and invasive abilities of various OS cell lines. The results demonstrated that miR-588 expression in OS tissues and cells was significantly lower compared with normal tissues and cells. In addition, miR-588 expression was closely associated with the Musculoskeletal Tumor Society (MSTS) staging of patients with OS. miR-588 expression and MSTS staging were therefore considered as independent indicators for the prognosis of patients with OS. In addition, miR-588 downregulation significantly stimulated the proliferation and migratory and invasive abilities of OS cells. Taken together, these findings indicated that miR-588 may serve as an independent prognostic factor and tumor suppressor in OS.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The COVID-19 pandemic have caused mental and psychological problems on the general population, patients, and related workers. Our study is to determine the impact of mental and psychological symptoms among population in quarantine for 2 weeks during COVID-19 pandemic. METHODS A case-controlled study design have conducted at department of psychiatry of Shenzhen Longgang Center for Chronic Disease Control in Shenzhen, China mainland from 7th April to 15th June 2020.1674 participants (aged 18 to 65 years) in quarantine for 2 weeks and 1743 age-sex matched controls living in Shenzhen were recruited between 7th April 2020 and 15th June 2020. The assessment of depressive, anxiety, and insomnia symptoms were determined by self-reported questionnaires PHQ-9, GAD-7, and ISI, respectively. RESULTS A total of 1674 participants in quarantine for 2 weeks and 1743 age-sex matched controls (32.6 ± 9.3 years vs. 32.7 ± 10.7 years, 49.8% vs. 47.8% females) were recruited. Population in quarantine had higher score on PHQ-9 (6.1 ± 5.5 vs. 3.0 ± 3.7, p < 0.001), GAD-7 (4.2 ± 4.7 vs. 1.9 ± 3.7, p < 0·001), and ISI (5.5 ± 5.8 vs. 3.1 ± 5.0%, p < 0.001) compared to general population. Population in quarantine showed significantly higher risks of depression (OR: 4.55, 95% CI: 3.82-5.41), anxiety (OR: 2.92, 95% CI: 2.43-3.51), and insomnia (OR: 2.40, 95% CI: 2.02-2.89), when compared to the general population. Younger, more education, non-married and lower household income showed higher risks of mental health problems. CONCLUSIONS Population in quarantine had a higher level of depressive, anxiety, and insomnia symptoms than controls. Specifically, they were at a higher risk prevalence of depression, anxiety, and insomnia, especially the severity of depression, when compared to controls. Younger, more education, non-married, and lower income population in quarantine were at higher risks of mental health problems. Mental health professionals should pay attention to the mental and psychological symptoms for population in quarantine.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To probe into the role and regulatory mechanisms of INSR in pathogenesis of osteoarthritis (OA). METHODS KLF4 and INSR expression was detected in cartilage tissues of 40 OA patients and 10 controls using RT-qPCR. IL-1β-induced OA chondrocytes and anterior cruciate ligament transection (ACLT)-induced OA models were respectively constructed. After overexpressing or silencing KLF4 or INSR, flow cytometry assay was utilized to detect chondrocyte apoptosis. Furthermore, JAK2/STAT3, cartilage markers and OA-related markers were examined by western blot. Dual luciferase report and CHIP assay were carried out to verify the interactions between KLF4 and INSR, followed by functional gain and loss assay. INSR promoter methylation was assessed by MS-PCR. RESULTS Both KLF4 and INSR were down-regulated both in OA chondrocytes and cartilage tissues. Knockdown of KLF4 or INSR accelerated apoptosis of IL-1β-induced OA chondrocytes. However, overexpression of KLF4 or INSR ameliorated OA progression both in OA chondrocytes and OA mouse models. Moreover, INSR inactivated JAK2/STAT3 pathway in OA chondrocytes. Dual luciferase report and CHIP assay results confirmed that INSR was transcriptionally regulated by KLF4. As shown in MS-PCR results, INSR expression was mediated by DNA methylation in OA. CONCLUSION Our findings suggested that INSR, as a key regulator for OA, was regulated by transcription factor KLF4 and DNA methylation, thereby mediating the activation of JAK2/STAT3 signaling, which was considered as an underlying therapeutic target for OA.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The therapeutic outcome of the local arthrodesis surgery for type 2 accessory navicula (AN) is rarely reported. This study aimed to compare the clinical outcomes between Kidner and arthrodesis procedures for type 2 AN. METHODS Sixteen patients (20 feet) with symptomatic type 2 AN receiving surgical treatment in our hospital between November 2013 and December 2015 were retrospectively included. Ten patients (13 feet) underwent the Kidner surgery (Kidner group) and 6 patients received local arthrodesis procedure (arthrodesis group). Radiographic indices before/after surgery were compared between the two groups. Patient's satisfaction with surgery outcome was evaluated by patient self-assessment questionnaire. RESULTS The calcaneal pitch angle was significantly increased after surgery in both groups (bothp<0.01), while the talocalcaneal coverage angle and lateral talo-first metatarsal angle were not significantly changed after surgery. There was no significant difference regarding the postoperative changes in the three radiographic indices between the two groups. In the arthrodesis group, 3 patients (4 feet) had an excellent outcome, 2 patients (2 feet) a good outcome, and 1 patient (1 foot) had a fair outcome. In the Kidner group, 6 patients (8 feet), 2 patients (3 feet), 1 patient (1 foot) and 1 patient (1 foot) had excellent, good, fair, and poor treatment outcomes, respectively. The rate of good-to-excellent outcomes was comparable between the arthrodesis group and Kidner group (83% vs. 80%, p=0.696). CONCLUSION Our results suggested that both the Kidner surgery and arthrodesis surgery were an effective treatment for symptomatic type 2 AN.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Respiratory viruses (RVs) is a common cause of illness in people of all ages, at present, different types of sampling methods are available for respiratory viral diagnosis. However, the diversity of available sampling methods and the limited direct comparisons in randomised controlled trials (RCTs) make decision-making difficult. We did a network meta-analysis, which accounted for both direct and indirect comparisons, to determine the detection rate of different sampling methods for RVs. METHODS Relevant articles were retrieved comprehensively by searching the online databases of PubMed, Embase and Cochrane published before 25 March 2020. With the help of R V.3.6.3 software and 'GeMTC V.0.8.2' package, network meta-analysis was performed within a Bayesian framework. Node-splitting method and I 2 test combined leverage graphs and Gelman-Rubin-Brooks plots were conducted to evaluate the model's accuracy. The rank probabilities in direct and cumulative rank plots were also incorporated to rank the corresponding sampling methods for overall and specific virus. RESULTS 16 sampling methods with 54 438 samples from 57 literatures were ultimately involved in this study. The model indicated good consistency and convergence but high heterogeneity, hence, random-effect analysis was applied. The top three sampling methods for RVs were nasopharyngeal wash (NPW), mid-turbinate swab (MTS) and nasopharyngeal swab (NPS). Despite certain differences, the results of virus-specific subanalysis were basically consistent with RVs: MTS, NPW and NPS for influenza; MTS, NPS and NPW for influenza-a and b; saliva, NPW and NPS for rhinovirus and parainfluenza; NPW, MTS and nasopharyngeal aspirate for respiratory syncytial virus; saliva, NPW and MTS for adenovirus and sputum; MTS and NPS for coronavirus. CONCLUSION This network meta-analysis provides supporting evidences that NPW, MTS and NPS have higher diagnostic value regarding RVs infection, moreover, particular preferred methods should be considered in terms of specific virus pandemic. Of course, subsequent RCTs with larger samples are required to validate our findings.

Abstract
Multi-cell hybrid micro-lattice materials, in which the stretching dominated octet cells were adopted as the strengthen phase while the bending dominated body centered cubic (BCC) lattice was chosen as the soft matrix, were proposed to achieve superior mechanical properties and energy absorption performance. Both stochastic and symmetric distribution of octet cells in the BCC lattice were considered. The cell assembly micromechanics finite element model (FEM) was built and validated by the experimental results. Accordingly, virtual tests were conducted to reveal the stress-strain relationship and deformation patterns of the hybrid lattice specimens. Meanwhile, the influence of reinforcement volume fraction and strut material on the energy absorption ability of the specimens was analyzed. It was concluded that the reinforced octet cells could be adopted to elevate the elastic modulus and collapse strength of the pure BCC micro-lattice material. The multi-cell design could lead to strain hardening in the plateau stress region which resulted in higher plateau stresses and energy absorption capacities. Besides, the symmetric distribution of reinforcements would cause significant stress fluctuations in the plateau region. The obtained results demonstrated that the multi-cell hybrid lattice architectures could be applied to tailor the mechanical behavior and plastic energy absorption performance of micro-lattice materials.

Abstract
As ideal building blocks for optoelectronic devices, one-dimensional (1D) single-crystal perovskite microwires (MWs) have received widespread attention due to their unique physical and chemical properties. Herein, a one-step solution in-plane self-assembly method is proposed to directly grow millimeter-long CsPbBr3 MWs with superior crystal quality at atmospheric environment. This method effectively avoids the use of toxic antisolvents. Furthermore, a MW-based photodetector is successfully fabricated, showing high photoresponsivity (20 A/W) and fast response (less than 0.3 ms). The stability of the photodetector is also confirmed by aging MW in air for 60 days, which shows a negligible change of photocurrent from 1.29 to 1.25 nA (-3 V) under the same experimental conditions. This work provides a low-cost and fast synthesis method for the preparation of single-crystal perovskite MWs and demonstrates their potential application for high-performance and stable photoelectronic device.

Abstract
BACKGROUND This systematic review will assess the effectiveness and safety neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) for cancer pain (CP) in children with osteosarcoma. METHODS This systematic review protocol will retrieve the following electronic databases from inception to June 1 in Cochrane Library, MEDLINE, EMBASE, Web of Science, Scopus, CNKI, and VIP database. Manual head-searching of reference lists and conference proceedings will be performed to further examine the articles of interest. No restrictions will be applied to language and publication status. We will utilize a 3-stage approach to scan titles, abstracts, and full-text studies against all eligibility criteria, and collect data from included trials. Study quality will be evaluated by the Cochrane Risk of Bias Tool. If possible, we will narratively summarize study results and carry out meta-analysis. RESULTS This study will recapitulate the present high quality trials to appraise the effectiveness and safety of NMES for CP in children with osteosarcoma. CONCLUSION The findings of this study will present evidence to determine whether NMES is effective and safe for CP in children with osteosarcoma.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Post-stroke shoulder-hand syndrome (PSSHS) is one of the most common sequelae in patients with stroke. Previous studies have reported that extracorporeal shock wave (EPSW) has been used to treat this condition effectively. However, its conclusions are still inconsistent. Therefore, this study will provide evidence to systematically assess the effectiveness and safety of EPSW for the treatment of PSSHS. METHODS We will comprehensively search relevant randomized controlled trials (RCTs) assessing the effectiveness and safety of EPSW for the treatment of PSSHS in the following databases from their start to February 1, 2020 without language and publication date limitations: Cochrane Library, MEDLINE, EMBASE, CINAHL, Web of Science, PsycINFO, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure. For trials that meet all inclusion criteria, 2 researchers will independently extract the data from them and appraise study quality by Cochrane risk of bias. Any differences will be solved by discussion with the help of another researcher. All data will be performed and analyzed using RevMan 5.3 software. RESULTS We will summarize up-to-date high quality RCTs to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of EPSW for the treatment of PSSHS. CONCLUSIONS This study will provide a comprehensive evidence summary to determine whether EPSW is effective and safety for the treatment of PSSHS or not. Abstract
BACKGROUND AND AIMS Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) of the left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) can effectively reduce cravings in methamphetamine use disorder (MUD). However, a considerable group still fails to respond. Cognitive and emotional disturbance, as well as impulsive features, are widespread in patients with MUD and might mediate the treatment response of rTMS. The purpose of this study is to figure out whether these variables can help predicting patients' responses to rTMS treatment. METHODS Ninety-seven patients with severe MUD and thirty-one gender- and age-matched healthy subjects were included. Patients were randomized to receive 20 sessions of real or sham rTMS. Intermittent theta burst protocols (iTBS) or sham iTBS were applied every weekday over the DLPFC for 20 daily sessions. Both groups received regular treatment. Craving induced by drug-related cue was measured before and after stimulation. Cognition was evaluated by using the CogState Battery. Baseline characteristics were collected through the Addiction Severity Index, Patient Health Questionnaire-9, General Anxiety Disorder Scale-7, and Barrett Impulsivity Scale-11. RESULTS Results showed that patients with MUD have worse spatial working memory, problem-solving ability, as well as depression and anxiety symptoms compared with healthy controls. Cognition and emotion differed between responders (craving decrease ≥60%) and non-responders in real rTMS group but not in the sham group. Better cognitive and emotional functions means that patients have higher possibility for better response to real rTMS treatment. CONCLUSIONS This study suggests that cognitive, emotional and impulsive features could be used to predict the prospective treatment responses of rTMS in patients with MUD.

Abstract
Background: The supracondylar nonunion of femur in elderly individuals is rare and
challenging to manage. Nothing in English literatures or guidelines is
available regarding this particular fracture characterized by osteoporosis,
soft-tissue contracture, shortening, and joint stiffness. We report a case
of an elderly patient with a supracondylar nonunion of the femur, which was
successfully treated using staged Ilizarov techniques and dual plating. Case Presentation: An 84-year-old female patient was admitted to our orthopedic department for
her pain and soft-tissue swelling around the right knee with claudication
and shortening deformity of the affected extremity. She denied any specific
history of trauma and had sought traditional Chinese medical attention for 6
months before she presented to our hospital. Diagnosis of the right femoral
supracondylar nonunion was made based on the X-ray and computed tomography.
Ilizarov external fixator was carried out for successive and slow
distraction and gradual correction of the shortening deformity, in
consideration of the nonunion was still present. Subsequently, internal
fixation with dual plating of the distal femur was performed. Excellent
function and patient satisfaction were observed at 6 months of
follow-up. Conclusion: The protocol of Ilizarov technique with subsequent internal fixation of dual
plating seems to be an efficient solution to the supracondylar nonunion of
femur in elderly patients with osteoporosis. The advantage of the protocol
is that it allows knee joint motion, avoids neurovascular complications, and
gentle correction of soft-tissue contractures.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Dysfunction in brain network dynamics has been found to correlate with many psychiatric disorders. However, there is limited research regarding resting electroencephalogram (EEG) brain network and its association with cognitive process for patients with methamphetamine use disorder (MUD). This study aimed at using EEG microstate analysis to determine whether brain network dynamics in patients with MUD differ from those of healthy controls (HC). METHODS A total of 55 MUD patients and 27 matched healthy controls were included for analysis. The resting brain activity was recorded by 64-channel electroencephalography. EEG microstate parameters and intracerebral current sources of each EEG microstate were compared between the two groups. Generalized linear regression model was used to explore the correlation between significant microstates with drug history and cognitive functions. RESULTS MUD patients showed lower mean durations of the microstate classes A and B, and a higher global explained variance of the microstate class C. Besides, MUD patients presented with different current density power in microstates A, B, and C relative to the HC. The generalized linear model showed that MA use frequency is negatively correlated with the MMD of class A. Further, the generalized linear model showed that MA use frequency, scores of Two-back task, and the error rate of MA word are correlated with the MMD and GEV of class B, respectively. CONCLUSIONS Intracranial current source densities of resting EEG microstates are disrupted in MUD patients, hence causing temporal changes in microstate topographies, which are correlated with attention bias and history of drug use.

Abstract
BACKGROUND This study will explore the efficacy and safety of intrathecal baclofen bolus (IBB) on neuropathic pain (NPP) in patients with spinal cord injury (SCI). METHODS All potential literatures of IBB on NPP in patients with SCI will be searched from the following electronic databases from inauguration to the January 31, 2020: PUBMED, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, Chinese Scientific Journal Database Information, WANGFANG, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure. In addition, we will search other sources, such as dissertations and reference lists of included trials. There are no restrictions of language and publication status in searching all literature sources. The quality of each eligible trial will be assessed using Cochrane risk of bias tool, and publication bias will be checked using a funnel plot and Egger test. Statistical analysis will be conducted using RevMan 5.3 software. RESULTS This study will scrutinize the efficacy and safety of IBB on NPP in patients with SCI through pain intensity of NPP, spasticity, walking ability, health-related quality of life, duration of stay at hospital (days), incidence of adverse event, and mortality rate. CONCLUSIONS The findings of this study will present helpful evidence to judge whether IBB is effective on NPP in patients with SCI or not. STUDY REGISTRATION NUMBER INPLASY202040192.

Abstract
The spread of COVID-19 is accelerating. At present, there is no specific antiviral drugs for COVID-19 outbreak. This is a multicenter retrospective cohort study of patients with laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 infection pneumonia from 3 hospitals in Hubei and Guangdong province, 141 adults (aged ≥18 years) without ventilation were included. Combined group patients were given Arbidol and IFN-α2b, monotherapy group patients inhaled IFN-α2b for 10–14 days. Of 141 COVID-19 patients, baseline clinical and laboratory characteristics were similar between combined group and monotherapy group, that 30% of the patients leucocytes counts were below the normal range and 36.4% of the patients experienced lymphocytopenia. The duration of viral RNA of respiratory tract in the monotherapy group was not longer than that in the combined therapy group. There was no significant differences between two groups. The absorption of pneumonia in the combined group was faster than that in the monotherapy group. We inferred that Arbidol/IFN - 2 b therapy can be used as an effective method to improve the COVID-19 pneumonia of mild patients, although it helpless with accelerating the virus clearance. These results should be verified in a larger prospective randomized environment.

Abstract
Inverted perovskite solar cells (PSCs) with a C60 framework are known for their common drawback of low power conversion efficiency (PCE) of <20% because of nonradiative recombination and inefficient charge transport at their perovskite interfaces. Here, we report an ultrathin [6,6]-phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) as a cap layer on perovskite films to overcome this issue. Such a functional cap layer efficiently passivates trap states and establishes a gradient energy level alignment onto perovskite, facilitating the efficient charge transfer and extraction. The as-fabricated inverted PSCs capped with such ultrathin PCBM exhibit a record PCE of 20.07%. After the storage under a N2 atmosphere for more than 500 h, the PCE of PSCs retains over 85% of its initial level. Our work provides an effective method to upgrade inverted PSCs with the C60 framework with improved efficiency and stability.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The 12-week, multicentre, observational INITIAL study (NCT02143739) assessed asthma severity in newly diagnosed Chinese patients. METHODS Post hoc analysis of medication combinations prescribed per routine clinical practice at baseline, and the impact on control levels evaluated using 2012 vs 2018 Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA) criteria. RESULTS In total, 4491 patients were included in the analysis. At baseline, intermittent, mild, moderate and severe asthma was reported in 3.9, 12.0, 22.6 and 61.6% of patients, respectively. Most patients (90.2%) were prescribed inhaled corticosteroid/long-acting β2 agonist (ICS/LABA). ICS/LABA plus ≥1 additional medication(s) was prescribed to 66.7% of patients, with leukotriene receptor antagonist (LTRA, 54.7%) being the most common additional medication. Distribution of ICS/LABA vs ICS/LABA+LTRA was comparable in patients with intermittent (3.2% vs 3.0%), mild (11.5% vs 9.7%), moderate (21.2% vs 19.9%) and severe asthma (64.1% vs 67.4%). Control levels among patients using ICS/LABA+LTRA vs ICS/LABA were comparable using GINA 2012 and lower using GINA 2018 criteria. The proportion of patients using ICS/LABA+LTRA vs ICS/LABA with intermittent, mild, moderate and severe asthma controlled at Week 12 (using GINA 2012) were 78.1% vs 80.0, 86.5% vs 85.8, 78.5% vs 71.3, and 59.6% vs 61.8%, respectively. Using GINA 2018 criteria proportions were 86.8% vs 95.9, 86.1% vs 93.2, 82.1% vs 85.3, and 71.9% vs 77.6%, respectively. CONCLUSIONS Asthma control was not improved by adding LTRA to ICS/LABA and may have been unnecessary for some newly diagnosed patients. These findings were irrespective of the GINA criteria (2012 vs 2018) used and baseline severity.

Abstract
Independent and zero-maintenance systems would be in urgent need in the near future internet of things. Here, we present high-performance, self-driven organic/inorganic heterojunction ultraviolet (UV) photodetectors (PDs) by in situ polymerization of polyaniline (PANI) on Gallium nitride microwires. The GaN microwires with a high crystalline quality are grown on patterned Si substrates by metal organic chemical vapor deposition. Using a facile in situ chemical polymerization method, PANI is conformally coated on the surface of GaN microwires. The constructed GaN/PANI hybrid microwire PD exhibits a high responsivity of 178 mA/W, a remarkable detectivity of 4.67 × 1014 jones, and an ultrafast UV photoresponse speed (rise time of 0.2 ms and fall time of 0.3 ms) under zero bias. The intimate heterojunction in the form of N-Ga-N bonds between GaN and PANI may account for the observed high performances. The presented self-driven microwire UV PDs featuring ultrahigh-speed (sub-millisecond) response to UV light may find applications in future nano/micro-photosensor networks.

Abstract
Methamphetamine is the most commonly used illicit drug in China. We previously demonstrated that 10 Hz rTMS over the DLPFC reduces craving in methamphetamine users. Here, we applied intermittent theta burst stimulation (iTBS), a new form of rTMS, in a large sample at four clinical centers. 126 participants (age 31.64 ± 6.33; 106 men) with severe methamphetamine use disorder according to DSM-5 were randomized to receive either iTBS or sham over the DLPFC for four weeks (20 daily sessions, 900 pulses per day). Cue-induced craving and cognitive function were assessed before and after rTMS intervention. Relapse was followed up by urine test after discharge from the rehabilitation center. iTBS significantly reduced craving and improved cognition and sleep quality. This study suggests that rTMS may be a useful and safe treatment option for methamphetamine use disorder, warranting future large scale trials.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Structural and functional alterations in the cerebellum have been consistently reported in addiction literatures. However, evidence implicating the resting-state cerebellar-cerebral functional connectivity in methamphetamine (MA) use disorder still remains limited. METHODS Resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) scans were obtained from 34 MA dependent individuals with about six months abstinence and 31 healthy controls (well matched for age, gender and education) in this study. Seed-based functional connectivity analysis was employed to investigate the differences in cerebellar-cerebral functional connectivity between two groups. The correlations between significant functional connectivity and each clinical characteristic were also explored. RESULTS Compared to healthy controls, MA dependent individuals showed disrupted functional connectivity between the cerebellum and several cerebral functional networks, including the default-mode, affective-limbic, and sensorimotor networks. Within the MA group, functional connectivity of the right cerebellar lobule VI-precuneus coupling was negatively correlated with addiction severity. CONCLUSION The present study suggests that cerebellar dysfunction, in particular aberrant cerebellar-cerebral functional connectivity, might involve in neurobiological mechanism of MA dependence, which supply a potential target for therapeutic interventions in the future.

This study aimed to compare the early therapeutic efficacy and cost between the traditional open Broström-Gould repair and all-arthroscopic anatomical repair of the ATFL for chronic lateral ankle instability. METHODS A total of 27 of patients with chronic lateral ankle instability undergoing repair of the ATFL between January 2013 and June 2015 were retrospectively included with a traditional open surgery (n = 10) group and arthroscopy (n = 17) group. The surgery duration, surgical cost, postoperative complications, and the preoperative/postoperative American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society Score (AOFAS) and Karlsson-Peterson score were compared between groups. RESULTS Compared to the arthroscopy group, the open surgery group had significantly shorter surgery duration and lower surgical cost. However, there was no significant difference in hospitalization duration between groups. At 3 years after operation, the AOFAS and Karlsson scores were significantly improved in both groups. Nevertheless, there was no significant difference in the AOFAS and Karlsson scores between groups at both preoperative and postoperative assessment. No significant difference was found in the incidence of postoperative complications between the 2 groups. CONCLUSION These results suggest that open Broström-Gould repair and all-arthroscopic anatomical repair of the ATFL have comparable therapeutic efficacy for chronic lateral ankle instability. The arthroscopic surgery had a smaller incision, while the open Broström-Gould had a shorter surgery duration and lower cost. LEVEL OF EVIDENCE Level III, comparative study.

Abstract
BACKGROUND To enhance awareness of the clinical features and prevention of endotracheal myiasis. CASE PRESENTATION A case of intratracheal myiasis is reported. A 61-year-old male patient with a history of laryngectomy was admitted to hospital due to tracheostomal hemorrhage of 3 h duration. Intratracheal myiasis was confirmed by bronchoscopy, and the patient underwent bronchoscopic intervention, which was complicated by a tracheal-esophageal fistula and resolved by endotracheal stenting. Twenty months after stent placement, the fistula had not healed. CONCLUSION Intratracheal myiasis has serious complications and is difficult to treat. For post-tracheostomy patients, healthcare providers and caregivers should pay attention to the care and monitoring of wounds and maintenance of a tidy, clean living environment to prevent intratracheal myiasis.
