Abstract
BACKGROUND The network analysis method emphasizes the interaction between individual symptoms to identify shared or bridging symptoms between depression and anxiety to understand comorbidity. However, the network analysis and community detection approach have limitations in identifying causal relationships among symptoms. This study aims to address this gap by applying Bayesian network (BN) analysis to investigate potential causal relationships. METHOD Data were collected from a sample of newly enrolled college students. The network structure of depression and anxiety was estimated using the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) and the Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD-7) Scale measures, respectively. Shared symptoms between depression and anxiety were identified through network analysis and clique percolation (CP) method. The causal relationships among symptoms were estimated using BN. RESULTS The strongest bridge symptoms, as indicated by bridge strength, include sad mood (PHQ2), motor (PHQ8), suicide (PHQ9), restlessness (GAD5), and irritability (GAD6). These bridge symptoms formed a distinct community using the CP algorithm. Sad mood (PHQ2) played an activating role, influencing other symptoms. Meanwhile, restlessness (GAD5) played a mediating role with reciprocal influences on both anxiety and depression symptoms. Motor (PHQ8), suicide (PHQ9), and irritability (GAD6) assumed recipient positions. CONCLUSION BN analysis presents a valuable approach for investigating the complex interplay between symptoms in the context of comorbid depression and anxiety. It identifies two activating symptoms (i.e., sadness and worry), which serve to underscore the fundamental differences between these two disorders. Additionally, psychomotor symptoms and suicidal ideations are recognized as recipient roles, being influenced by other symptoms within the network.

Abstract
Membranes are important in the pharmaceutical industry for the separation of antibiotics and salts. However, its widespread adoption has been hindered by limited control of the membrane microstructure (pore architecture and free-volume elements), separation threshold, scalability, and operational stability. In this study, 4,4',4'',4'''-methanetetrayltetrakis(benzene-1,2-diamine) (MTLB) as prepared as a molecular building block for fabricating thin-film composite membranes (TFCMs) via interfacial polymerization. The relatively large molecular size and rigid molecular structure of MTLB, along with its non-coplanar and distorted conformation, produced thin and defect-free selective layers (~27 nm) with ideal microporosities for antibiotic desalination. These structural advantages yielded an unprecedented high performance with a water permeance of 45.2 L m-2 h-1 bar-1 and efficient antibiotic desalination (NaCl/adriamycin selectivity of 422). We demonstrated the feasibility of the industrial scaling of the membrane into a spiral-wound module (with an effective area of 2.0 m2). This module exhibited long-term stability and performance that surpassed those of state-of-the-art membranes used for antibiotic desalination. This study provides a scientific reference for the development of high-performance TFCMs for water purification and desalination in the pharmaceutical industry.

Abstract
BACKGROUND This study aimed to establish an intelligent segmentation algorithm to count the number of deep medullary veins (DMVs) and analyze the relationship between DMVs and imaging markers of cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD). METHODS DMVs on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of patients with CSVD were counted by intelligent segmentation and manual counting. The dice coefficient and intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) were used to evaluate their consistency and correlation. Structural MR images were used to assess imaging markers and total burden of CSVD. A multivariate linear regression model was used to evaluate the correlation between the number of DMVs counted by intelligent segmentation and imaging markers of CSVD, including white matter hyperintensities of the presumed vascular origin, lacune, perivascular spaces, cerebral microbleeds, and total CSVD burden. RESULTS A total of 305 patients with CSVD were enrolled. An intelligent segmentation algorithm was established to calculate the number of DMVs, and it was validated and tested. The number of DMVs counted intelligently significantly correlated with the manual counting method (r = 0.761, P< 0.001). The number of smart-counted DMVs negatively correlated with the imaging markers and total burden of CSVD (P< 0.001), and the correlation remained after adjusting for age and hypertension (P< 0.05). CONCLUSIONS The proposed intelligent segmentation algorithm, which was established to count DMVs, can provide objective and quantitative imaging information for the follow-up of patients with CSVD. DMVs are involved in CSVD pathogenesis and a likely new imaging marker for CSVD.

Abstract
The traditional solidification/stabilization (S/S) technology, Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC), has been widely criticized due to its poor resistance to chloride and significant carbon emissions. Herein, a S/S strategy based on magnesium potassium phosphate cement (MKPC) was developed for the medical waste incineration fly ash (MFA) disposal, which harmonized the chlorine stabilization rate and potential carbon emissions. The in-situ XRD results indicated that the Cl- was efficiently immobilized in the MKPC system with coexisting Ca2+ by the formation of stable Ca5(PO4)3Cl through direct precipitation or intermediate transformation (the Cl- immobilization rate was up to 77.29%). Additionally, the MFA-based MKPC also demonstrated a compressive strength of up to 39.6 MPa, along with an immobilization rate exceeding 90% for heavy metals. Notably, despite the deterioration of the aforementioned S/S performances with increasing MFA incorporation, the potential carbon emissions associated with the entire S/S process were significantly reduced. According to the Life Cycle Assessment, the potential carbon emissions decreased to 8.35 × 102 kg CO2-eq when the MFA reached the blending equilibrium point (17.68 wt.%), while the Cl- immobilization rate still remained above 65%, achieving an acceptable equilibrium. This work proposes a low-carbon preparation strategy for MKPC that realizes chlorine stabilization, which is instructive for the design of S/S materials.

Abstract
Heat stress transcription factors (HSFs) are core regulators of plant heat stress response. Much research has focused on class A and B HSFs, leaving those of class C relatively understudied. Here, we reported a lily (Lilium longiflorum) heat-inducible HSFC2 homology involved in thermotolerance. LlHSFC2 was located in the nucleus and cytoplasm and exhibited a repression ability by binding heat stress element. Overexpression of LlHSFC2 in Arabidopsis, tobacco (Nicotiana benthamiana), and lily, all increased the thermotolerance. Conversely, silencing of LlHSFC2 in lily reduced its thermotolerance. LlHSFC2 could interact with itself, or interact with LlHSFA1, LlHSFA2, LlHSFA3A, and LlHSFA3B of lily, AtHSFA1e and AtHSFA2 of Arabidopsis, and NbHSFA2 of tobacco. LlHSFC2 interacted with HSFAs to accelerate their transactivation ability and act as a transcriptional coactivator. Notably, compared with the separate LlHSFA3A overexpression, co-overexpression of LlHSFC2/LlHSFA3A further enhanced thermotolerance of transgenic plants. In addition, after suffering HS, the homologous interaction of LlHSFC2 was repressed, but its heterologous interaction with the heat-inducible HSFAs was promoted, enabling it to exert its co-activation effect for thermotolerance establishment and maintenance. Taken together, we identified that LlHSFC2 plays an active role in the general balance and maintenance of heat stress response by cooperating with HSFAs, and provided an important candidate for the enhanced thermotolerance breeding of crops and horticulture plants.

Abstract
Gray mold caused by Botrytis cinerea is one of the major threats in lily production. However, limited information is available about the underlying defense mechanism against B. cinerea in lily. Here, we characterized a nuclear-localized class A heat stress transcription factor (HSF)-LlHSFA4 from lily (Lilium longiflorum), which positively regulated the response to B. cinerea infection. LlHSFA4 transcript and its promoter activity were increased by B. cinerea infection in lily, indicating its involvement in the response to B. cinerea. Virus-induced gene silencing (VIGS) of LlHSFA4 impaired the resistance of lily to B. cinerea. Consistent with its role in lily, overexpression of LlHSFA4 in Arabidopsis (Arabidopsis thaliana) enhanced the resistance of transgenic Arabidopsis to B. cinerea infection. Further analysis showed that LlWRKY33 directly activated LlHSFA4 expression. We also found that both LlHSFA4 and LlWRKY33 positively regulated plant response to B. cinerea through reducing cell death and H2O2 accumulation and activating the expression of the reactive oxygen species (ROS) scavenging enzyme gene LlCAT2 (Catalase 2) by binding its prompter, which might contribute to reducing H2O2 accumulation in the infected area. Taken together, our data suggested that there may be a LlWRKY33-LlHSFA4-LlCAT2 regulatory module which confers B. cinerea resistance via reducing cell death and the ROS accumulation.

Abstract
Photocatalytic organic functionalization reactions represent a green, cost-effective, and sustainable synthesis route for value-added chemicals. However, heterogeneous photocatalysis is inefficient in directly activating ammonia molecules for the production of high-value-added nitrogenous organic products when compared with oxygen activation in the formation of related oxygenated compounds. In this study, we report the heterogeneous photosynthesis of benzonitriles by the ammoxidation of benzyl alcohols (99 % conversion, 93 % selectivity) promoted using BiOBr nanosheets with surface vacancy associates. In contrast, the main reaction of catalysts with other types of vacancy sites is the oxidation of benzyl alcohol to benzaldehyde or benzoic acid. Experimental measurements and theoretical calculations have demonstrated a specificity of vacancy type with respect to product selectivity, which arises from the adsorption and activation of NH3 and O2 that is required to promote subsequent C-N coupling and oxidation to nitrile. This study provides a better understanding of the role of vacancies as catalytic sites in heterogeneous photocatalysis.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze genioglossus (GG) activation responses to the negative pressure of upper airway cavity during awake and different sleep stages in patients with different obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) graduation. Methods: This prospective cohort study started from August 2019 to January 2021, recruited 42 male OSA patients aged from 21 to 59 (38.77±8.42) years. After completing whole night polysomnography (PSG) and upper airway CT, each subject underwent drug-induced sleep with simultaneous monitoring of genioglossal electromyography (GGEMG) and pressure of epiglottis (Pepi). Subjects were divided into three groups of mild OSA(7 males), moderate OSA(12 males), and severe OSA(23 males). The differences in upper airway CT measurements, parameters of GGEMG and Pepi during awake and induced sleep were compared. Statistical analysis was conducted by SPSS 21.0. Results: There was no significant difference in the GGEMG parameters between the mild and moderate groups. In wakefulness, the peak phasic GGEMG of the severe group was higher than the mild group (t=1.249, P=0.025), with no statistically difference in the corresponding Pepi. In the sleep onset, the GGEMG parameters and Pepi in severe group were higher than the other two groups. Linear regression analysis of the maximum GGEMG and maximum Pepi at the end of obstructive apnea (OA) in all moderate plus severe patients (n=35) was shown nonlinear correlation (r=0.28, P=0.694). The airway length of the glossopharyngeal cavity was linearly correlated with the maximum Pepi of OA (r=0.468, R2=0.219, P=0.005). Conclusions: The individual difference of GG activation in OSA patients is related to the severity of the disease (frequency of respiratory events) and negative pressure stimulation. In moderate and severe OSA patients, GG activity is not in harmony with the corresponding negative pressure stimulation, which may be one of the mechanisms leading to the aggravation of OSA.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Hyperlipidemic acute pancreatitis (HLAP) remains one of the major digestive emergencies with increasing health risks. Oral refeeding tolerant (ORT) and enteral tube feeding tolerant (ETFT) are commonly used for nutritional management in HLAP. However, the differences between ORT and ETFT are yet to be characterized. PATIENTS AND METHODS This study included consecutive patients admitted to the Ordos Central Hospital between January 2019 and April 2023, with predefined inclusion criteria. RESULTS A total of 335 HLAP patients were recruited according to the inclusion criteria. 268 patients were diagnosed with moderately severe acute pancreatitis (MSAP), of which 193 were in the OFT group and 75 in the ETFT group. In the ETFT group, abdominal pain and abdominal distension were significantly higher than that in the OFT group. No significant result was identified in the laboratory data. However, the OFT group showed a higher hospitalization and cost, as well as exocrine insufficiency and newly onset diabetes, than the ETFT group. CONCLUSIONS Based on the incidence of HLAP retrieved in this study, MSAP is the major type with increasing clinical value. From the nutritional management sense, patients who received OFT showed higher hospitalization and cost, as well as lower exocrine insufficiency and newly onset diabetes.

Abstract
PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE(S) High grade gliomas (HGGs) are aggressive brain tumors with altered cellular metabolism. HGGs can carry mutations in the tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle enzyme isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 (IDH1), conferring distinct biology and improved patient prognosis compared to IDH wildtype (wt) tumors. Using metabolomic analyses of tumor tissue, we previously showed that IDH wt and IDH mutant (IDH mut) tumors have unique metabolomic signatures that correlate with different survival outcomes. Among this cohort of 69 HGG samples, we identified two unique patient tumors that metabolically clustered with IDH mut tumors, but lacked both the IDH mutation and its product 2-hydroxyglutarate. We aimed to discover unique mutations in these two tumors that may impart an IDH mutant-like phenotype in the absence of an IDH1 or IDH2 mutation. MATERIALS/METHODS Whole exome sequencing (WES) was performed on frozen tumor samples from two patients diagnosed as glioblastoma (GBM), IDH wt via Agilent v5 + IncRNA platform. Alignment to the hg38 genome and variant calling were completed using an accelerated implementation of GATK's BWA and MuTect2 algorithms from Sentieon. Variants were filtered based on supporting reads and variant allele thresholds, with synonymous variants and common SNPs removed. High-confidence variants were further filtered by membership in the four KEGG pathways associated with IDH1 and IDH2. Identified variants were corroborated with metabolomics data from the two unique IDH wt tumors compared with classical GBM IDH wt, oligodendrogliomas IDH mut and astrocytomas IDH mut to identify putative drivers of an IDH mutant-like metabolomic phenotype in these unique IDH wt tumors. RESULTS Despite the lack of an IDH mutation, one patient survived 45.6 months and the other patient remains alive at last follow up 64 months post diagnosis, much longer than the 16-18-month median survival typical of patients with GBM IDH wt. WES of outlier IDH wt tumor samples revealed 65 unique mutations in the queried KEGG pathways, of which 34 had a variant allele frequency > = 0.15. These variants were processed in Gprofiler, confirming expected enrichment of the carboxylic acid metabolic biologic process, a functional gene set consisting of TCA genes, among these variants (p = 0.002, 3.6-fold enrichment). Accordingly, metabolite levels of intermediates of the TCA cycle, including malate and isocitrate were decreased in the outlier tumor samples compared to classic GBMs IDH wt (p<0.001). Presence of genetic alterations in key variants of the carboxylic acid metabolic biologic process (including ME1, GYP4F3, PTGIS, PFKL, PSPH, AKR1A1, HK2, NOS1) correlated with improved overall survival among GBM patients in the TCGA (p = 0.04). Laboratory validation of these findings in preclinical GBM models is ongoing. CONCLUSION Disruption of the TCA cycle independent of an IDH mutation is associated with favorable survival in GBM. Pharmacologic inhibition of these pathways may be a promising strategy to improve GBM outcomes.

Abstract
Electricity-driven organo-oxidations have shown an increasing potential recently. However, oxygen evolution reaction (OER) is the primary competitive reaction, especially under high current densities, which leads to low Faradaic efficiency (FE) of the product and catalyst detachment from the electrode. Here, we report a bimetallic Ni-Cu electrocatalyst supported on Ni foam (Ni-Cu/NF) to passivate the OER process while the oxidation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) is significantly enhanced. A current density of 1000 mA cm-2 can be achieved at 1.50 V vs. reversible hydrogen electrode, and both FE and yield keep close to 100 % over a wide range of potentials. Both experimental results and theoretical calculations reveal that Cu doping impedes the OH* deprotonation to O* and hereby OER process is greatly passivated. Those instructive results provide a new approach to realizing highly efficient biomass upgrading by regulating the OER activity.

Abstract
Objective This study aimed to explore the influencing factors of adverse outcomes in the offspring of women with epilepsy (WWE) and to analyze the changes brought about by the epilepsy knowledge popularization campaign in China (EKPCIC). Methods This nested case-control study focused on WWE and their offspring from a female epilepsy cohort in mainland China. From January 2009 to August 2022, WWE was prospectively enrolled in 32 study centers. This study aimed to observe the health outcomes of their offspring within 1 year of age. The main outcome measure assessed the health status of the offspring within their first year of age. We aimed to analyze the effects of seizures, anti-seizure medicines (ASMs), and a lack of folic acid supplementation on adverse outcomes in the offspring of WWE and to explore the changes in perinatal management and adverse outcomes of the offspring after dissemination of the EKPCIC in 2015. Additionally, subgroup analyses were conducted to compare seizure control during pregnancy between the valproate and non-valproate groups. Results In total, 781 pregnancies in 695 WWE were included, of which 186 (23.69%) had adverse outcomes. The National Hospital Epilepsy Severity Scale score, number of seizures, status epilepticus, ASM type, and valproate and folic acid doses were associated with a high risk of adverse outcomes. After the EKPCIC, the use of ASMs (P = 0.013) and folic acid (P < 0.001), the seizure-free rate during pregnancy (P = 0.013), and the breastfeeding rate (P < 0.001) increased, whereas the incidence of complications during pregnancy decreased (P = 0.013). However, there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse outcomes between the analyzed offspring pre-/post-EKPCIC. Additionally, there was no association between the frequency of seizures at different time points during pregnancy and the use of valproate (F = 1.514, P = 0.221). Conclusion Possible factors influencing adverse outcomes in the offspring of WWE include seizures, type and number of ASM usage, and a lack of folic acid supplementation. Although the management of WWE during pregnancy is now more standardized, further efforts are needed to reduce adverse outcomes in offspring.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to identify sex-specific biomarkers for ischemic stroke (IS) prophylaxis in elderly individuals. MATERIALS AND METHODS The GSE22255 dataset for elderly individuals with IS was retrieved from the gene expression omnibus database. Thereafter, gene ontology and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathway enrichment analyses were performed, as well as gene set enrichment analysis (GSEA). Furthermore, protein-protein interactions (PPIs) were explored using the STRING database, and to screen central genes from the Cytoscape PPI network, corresponding to peripheral blood samples from elderly individuals, we used the molecular complex detection plug-in and cytoHubba. Moreover, a Venn diagram was used to visualize the key genes common among elderly women and men with IS. Statistical analysis was also performed, and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were constructed to evaluate the specificity and sensitivity of the prediction of IS in the elderly. RESULTS Compared with the healthy controls, in elderly women with IS, 511 biological process (BP) terms, 16 molecular function (MF) terms, and 34 KEGG terms were significantly enriched, whereas in the elderly men with IS, 681 BP terms, 12 MF terms, and 44 KEGG terms were enriched. The GSEA revealed 99 and 140 significantly enriched gene sets in elderly women and men with IS, respectively. Furthermore, in the PPI network, 10 hub genes for each sex with high specificity and sensitivity were identified using ROC curves. CONCLUSIONS Ten genes for each sex with significant differential expression were also identified in individuals with IS. The novel sex-specific gene targets may be promising diagnostic or prognostic markers and potential therapeutic targets for IS in the elderly.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the risk and influencing factors of long-term mortality of valvular heart disease (VHD) adults aged 35 years and over in Chinese communities. Methods: A cohort study was carried out. The data of the subjects who underwent echocardiography were collected from the Chinese Hypertension Survey between 2012 and 2015 and survival outcomes were followed up between 2018 and 2019. Kaplan-Meier survival curves were plotted and compared using log-rank test. Cox proportional hazards models were used to analyze the influence of VHD on mortality. Results: During an average follow-up time of (4.6±0.9) years, a total of 23 237 participants (10 881 males and 12 356 females) were pooled into the final analysis from 5 eastern, 5 central, and 4 western provinces, cities and autonomous regions in China, with a mean age of (56.9±13.2) years. Among the included participants, 1 004 had VHD (467 males and 537 females), with a mean age was of (68.1±12.6) years. In the Kaplan-Meier analysis, participants with VHD had a significantly increased risk of all-cause mortality (log-rank χ2=351.82, P<0.001) and cardiovascular mortality (log-rank χ2=284.14, P<0.001) compared with those without VHD. Multivariate Cox regression analysis showed that compared with those without VHD, the participants with rheumatic VHD had a 45% increased risk of all-cause mortality (HR=1.45, 95%CI: 1.12-1.89) and degenerative VHD increased the risk of cardiovascular mortality by 69% (HR=1.69, 95%CI: 1.19-2.38). The risk factors of cardiovascular mortality for VHD were age 55 years and over (55-<75 years: HR=4.93, 95%CI: 1.17-20.85;≥75 years: HR=11.92, 95%CI: 2.85-49.80) and diabetes mellitus (HR=1.71, 95%CI: 1.00-2.93). Conclusions: VHD is a risk factor of all-cause mortality and cardiovascular mortality among adults aged 35 years and over. Age 55 years and over and diabetes mellitus are adverse prognostic factors for patients with VHD.

Abstract
Lanzhou lily (Lilium davidii var. unicolor) is a renowned edible crop produced in China and relatively sensitive to high temperature (HT). Trichokonins (TKs) are antimicrobial peptaibols secreted from Trichoderma longibrachiatum strain SMF2. Here, we report that TKs application improves the thermotolerance of Lanzhou lily. The activity of the antioxidant enzyme system (SOD, CAT, and POD), the level of heat-resistance-associated phytohormones (ABA, SA, and JA), the relative water content (RWC), the content of chlorophyll (Chl), and the net photosynthetic rate (P n) were promoted by TKs treatment in Lanzhou lily plants subjected to heat stress (HS). TKs treatment also mitigated cell injury as shown by a lower accumulation of malondialdehyde (MDA) and relative electrolyte leakage (REL) under HS conditions. RNA-seq data analysis showed that more than 4.5 times differentially expressed genes (DEGs) responded to TKs treatment under HS compared to non-HS, and TKs treatment reduced protein folding and enhanced cellular repair function under HS conditions. The analyses of DEGs involved in hormone (ABA, SA and JA) synthesis and signaling pathways suggested that TKs might improve Lanzhou lily heat tolerance by promoting ABA synthesis and signal transduction. TKs highly induced DEGs of the HSF-HSP pathway under HS, in which HSFA2 accounted for most of the HSF family. Furthermore, TKs treatment resulted in the upregulation of heat-protective genes LzDREB2B, LzHsfA2a, LzMBF1c, LzHsp90, and LzHsp70 involved in HSF-HSP signal pathway after long-term HS. LzHsfA2a-1 likely plays a key role in acquisition of TKs-induced thermotolerance of Lanzhou lily as evidenced by the sustained response to HS, the enhanced response to TKs treatment under long-term HS, and the high sequence similarity to LlHsfA2a which is a key regulator for the improvement of heat tolerance in Lilium longiflorum. Our results reveal the underlying mechanisms of TKs-mediated thermotolerance in Lanzhou lily and highlight an attractive approach to protecting crop plants from damage caused by HS in a global warming future.

Abstract
Higher chlorine (Cl) content than lead (Pb) content in municipal solid waste incineration fly ash (MSWIFA) impeded the practical application of Pb5(PO4)3Cl-derived magnesium potassium phosphate cement (MKPC) preparation strategy. Herein, Pb/Ca-rich lead slag (LS) was co-blended with MSWIFA to prepare MKPC for the synergistic treatment of both two solid wastes and the Pb-Cl solidification. The results showed that the resulting 15-15 (15 wt% MSWIFA and 15 wt% LS incorporation) sample achieved 25.44 MPa compressive strength, and Pb and Cl leaching toxicity was reduced by 99.18 % and 92.80 %, respectively. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) analyses showed that Pb2+, Ca2+, phosphate and Cl- formed PbxCa5-x(PO4)3Cl in samples. The formation of PbxCa5-x(PO4)3Cl was also demonstrated by the high-angle annular dark field scanning transmission electron microscope (HAADF-STEM), while differences in the lattice characteristics of PbxCa5-x(PO4)3Cl and Pb5(PO4)3Cl were found. In-situ XRD indicated that Ca2+ accelerated the transformation of Pb2+ to Pb5(PO4)3Cl. After co-precipitating with Ca2+ to form PbxCa5-x(PO4)3Cl, Pb2+ continuously substituted Ca2+ to eventually transform to Pb5(PO4)3Cl. This work informs the synergistic treatment of MSWIFA and LS and offers new insights into the reaction mechanism between Pb2+, phosphate and Cl- under Ca2+ induction.

Abstract
Waterborne polyurethanes (WPUs) have attracted great interest owing to their environmentally friendly properties, and are wildly applied in production and daily life. However, waterborne polyurethanes are flammable. Up to now, the challenge remains to prepare WPUs with excellent flame resistance, high emulsion stability, and outstanding mechanical properties. Herein, a novel flame-retardant additive, 2-hydroxyethan-1-aminium (2-(1H-benzo[d]imidazol-2-yl)ethyl)(phenyl)phosphinate (BIEP-ETA) has been synthesized and applied to improve the flame resistance of WPUs, which has both phosphorus nitrogen synergistic effect and the ability to form hydrogen bonds with WPUs. The WPU blends (WPU/FRs) exhibited a positive fire-retardant effect in both the vapor and condensed phases, with significantly improved self-extinguishing performance and reduced heat release value. Interestingly, thanks to the good compatibility between BIEP-ETA and WPUs, WPU/FRs not only have higher emulsion stability, but also have better mechanical properties with synchronously improved tensile strength and toughness. Moreover, WPU/FRs also exhibit excellent potential as a corrosion-resistant coating.

Abstract
Drought is one of the most adverse environmental stresses limiting plant growth and productivity. However, the underlying mechanisms regarding metabolism of non-structural carbohydrates (NSC) in source and sink organs are still not fully elucidated in woody trees. Saplings of mulberry cv Zhongshen1 and Wubu were subjected to a 15-day progressive drought stress. NSC levels and gene expression involved in NSC metabolism were investigated in roots and leaves. Growth performance and photosynthesis, leaf stomatal morphology, and other physiological parameters were also analysed. Under well-watered conditions, Wubu had a higher R/S, with higher NSC in leaves than in roots; Zhongshen1 had a lower R/S with higher NSC in roots than leaves. Under drought stress, Zhongshen1 showed decreased productivity and increased proline, abscisic acid, ROS content and activity of antioxidant enzymes, while Wubu sustained comparable productivity and photosynthesis. Interestingly, drought resulted in decreased starch and slightly increased soluble sugars in leaves of Wubu, accompanied by notable downregulation of starch-synthesizing genes and upregulation of starch-degrading genes. Similar patterns in NSC levels and relevant gene expression were also observed in roots of Zhongshen1. Concurrently, soluble sugars decreased and starch was unchanged in roots of Wubu and leaves of Zhongshen1. However, gene expression of starch metabolism in roots of Wubu was unaltered, but in leaves of Zhongshen1 starch metabolism was more activated. These findings revealed that intrinsic R/S and spatial distribution of NSC in roots and leaves concomitantly contribute to drought resistance in mulberry.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The biomechanics generated by the clear aligner (CA) material changes continuously during orthodontic tooth movement, but this factor remains unknown during the computer-aid design process and the predictability of molars movement is not as expected. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to propose an iterative finite element method to simulate the long-term biomechanical effects of mandibular molar mesialization (MM) in CA therapy under dual-mechanical systems. METHODS Three groups including CA alone, CA with a button, and CA with a modified lever arm (MLA) were created. Material properties of CA were obtained by in vitro mechanical experiments. MM was conducted by the rebound force exerted by CA material and the mesial elastic force (2N, 30° to the occlusal plane) applied to the auxiliary devices. Stress intensity and distribution on periodontal ligament (PDL), attachment, button and MLA, and displacement of the second molar (M2) during the iterations were recorded. RESULTS There was a significant difference between the initial and cumulative long-term displacement. Specifically, compared to the beginning, the maximum stress of PDL decreased by 90% on average in the intermediate and final steps. The aligner was the main mechanical system at first, and then, the additional system exerted by the button and MLA dominated gradually. The stress of attachments and auxiliary devices is mainly concentrated on their interfaces with the tooth. Additionally, MLA provided a distal tipping and extrusive moment, which was the only group that manifested a total mesial displacement of the root. CONCLUSIONS The innovatively designed MLA was more effective in reducing undesigned mesial tipping and rotation of M2 than the traditional button and CA alone, which provided a therapeutic method for MM. The proposed iterative method simulated tooth movement by considering the mechanical characteristic of CA and its long-term mechanical force changes, which will facilitate better movement prediction and minimize the failure rate.

Abstract
BACKGROUND In patients with advanced cancer receiving immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) therapy, there are conflict perspectives about the influence of concomitant use of proton pump inhibitors (PPIs). We are aimed at exploring the influence of concomitant PPIs exposure on clinical outcome among cancer patients receiving ICIs treatment. METHODS We searched relevant literatures in PubMed, EMBASE, and the Cochrane Library without language restrictions. We extracted the data from selected studies and calculated the pooled hazard ratios (HRs) with 95% CIs through professional software for overall survival and progression-free survival among cancer patients undergoing ICIs therapy exposed to PPIs. RESULTS Fourteen studies including 6716 advanced cancer patients receiving ICIs treatment were appropriate for analysis judging by pre-set inclusion and exclusion criteria. The result indicated that concomitant PPIs exposure was significantly related to shorter overall survival (HR=1.388; 95% CI: 1.278-1.498, P <0.001) and progression-free survival (HR=1.285; 95% CI: 1.193-1.384, P <0.001) among multiple cancer patients receiving ICIs therapy. CONCLUSIONS Our meta-analysis showed that concomitant PPIs exposure had an adverse impact on clinical outcome among patients receiving ICIs therapy. Clinical oncologists must be cautious of PPIs delivery during ICIs treatment.

Abstract
Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has caused several pandemic peaks worldwide due to its high variability and infectiousness, and COVID-19 has become a long-standing global public health problem. There is growing evidence that severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) frequently causes multi-organ injuries and more severe neurological manifestations. Therefore, increased awareness of possible neurological complications is beneficial in preventing and mitigating the impact of long-term sequelae and improving the prognostic outcome of critically ill patients with COVID-19. Here, we review the main pathways of SARS-CoV-2 neuroinvasion and the potential mechanisms causing neurological damage. We also discuss in detail neurological complications, aiming to provide cutting-edge basis for subsequent related basic research and clinical studies of diagnosis and treatment.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION The objectives of this study were to investigate the biomechanical effects of clear aligners (CAs) with various thermoplastic material thicknesses and gingival-margin designs for space closure in extraction treatment and to propose a computer-aided procedure to optimize CA design. METHODS The radiologic and intraoral scanning technology, in vitro mechanical experiment, viscoelastic modeling, and finite element analysis (FEA) were integrated to establish an orthodontic simulation model. Twelve FEA models of CA were created, comprising combinations of 2 kinds of thicknesses (0.75 and 0.50 mm), 2 forms of gingival-margin shape (scalloped and straight), and 3 types of margin height (-2, 0, and 2 mm). In vitro testing was carried out to determine the actual properties of material thickness. RESULTS A 0.75-mm-thick aligner resulted in greater periodontal ligament (PDL) stress than 0.50 mm, and there was no clear correlation between the control ability of tooth movement and the thickness. For different margin designs, PDL stress at -2 mm height was significantly lower than those with a higher border. Aligners with straight margins had higher stress than the scalloped aligners, whereas the differences were unnoticeable at 2 mm height. The optimized aligner with differential margin designs was recommended on the basis of biomechanical calculations, which facilitated the efficiency and control of tooth movement for multiple teeth. CONCLUSIONS The effect of material thickness and margin design of CA on the force and movement differed in different teeth. Preferable CA designs of each tooth during different movement stages should be presented personalized under the guidance of precise biomechanics instead of pure morphologic analysis.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the prevalence of albuminuria in Chinese residents aged >35 years and its potential association with cardiovascular disease (CVD). Methods: A total of 34 647 Chinese subjects aged ≥35 years were selected by stratified multi-stage random sampling from 2012 to 2015. Data were collected through questionnaires, physical examinations, and laboratory tests. Albuminuria was categorized into 3 types according to urinary albumin-to- creatinine ratio: normal (<30 mg/g), microalbuminuria (MAU, 30-300 mg/g), and macroalbuminuria (≥300 mg/g). Measurement data were expressed as x¯±s, and t-tests were used for comparisons between indicators. Qualitative data were expressed as rate or constituent ratio, and the χ2 test or Kruskal-Wallis test was used to examine differences. Logistic regression was used for multivariate analyses. SAS 9.4 software was used for statistical analyses, and P<0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: The prevalence of abnormal albuminuria was 19.1%; the prevalence was 17.2% for MAU and lower in males (13.8%) than females (20.1%, P<0.01). The risk of CVD was higher among subjects with MAU (OR=1.23, 95%CI 1.12-1.35) and macroalbuminuria (OR=1.86, 95%CI 1.50-2.32). When MAU was complicated by hypertension and diabetes mellitus, the CVD risk was 1.76 times higher. Conclusions: The prevalence of MAU is high among Chinese subjects aged 35 years and over. Those with MAU have higher CVD risk, especially those with hypertension and diabetes mellitus.

Abstract
Regeneration of periodontal tissue remains a challenge. Under periodontitis, osteoclasts are overactivated and bone loss occurs. We incorporated sodium alendronate (Alen), a medication commonly used to treat osteoporosis, into a supramolecular hydrogel system in order to create a novel biomaterial that would promote periodontal bone regeneration by inhibiting osteoclast overactivation. The Nap-Gly-Phe-Phe (NapGFF) peptide chain was modified to synthesize the functional Nap-Alen gelator. Afterward, the Nap-Alen/HAP supramolecular hydrogel composite with a suitable hydroxyapatite (HAP) ratio was constructed, which has outstanding mechanical properties and 3D structure. In addition to its good biocompatibility, it can inhibit the proliferation of bone marrow-derived macrophages (BMDMs) and differentiation of osteoclasts. Due to the simultaneous introduction of porous HAP, the hydrogel with a nanofiber structure was formed into a 3D mesh-like sparse porous composite hydrogel. While enhancing the mechanical properties of the gel, the porous structure facilitated the attachment and migration of bone regeneration-related cells. Therefore, it can effectively promote the regeneration of periodontal bone. In the future, by modifying the biophysical properties and loading stem cells or cytokines, this supramolecular hydrogel composite constructed in this study may provide a new strategy for tissue regeneration engineering and provide a preliminary experimental basis for relevant clinical translational studies.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Radiation-induced cancer (RIC) is a late complication in patients who have been treated for nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). The comparison of index anatomic location, index histological type, and survival of RIC in patients with NPC after different radiotherapy modalities (intensity-modulated radiotherapy [IMRT], 3-dimensional conformal radiotherapy [3D-CRT], and conventional 2D radiotherapy) is currently unavailable. METHODOLOGY A total of 38,565 patients with NPC who received curative-intent radiotherapy at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center between January 1986 and December 2017 were reviewed. A total of 141 patients who developed RIC and fulfilled the study criteria were included. Categorical variables were compared by the chi-square test or Fisher's exact test. Kaplan-Meier curves were used to evaluate overall survival. Cox proportional hazards models were used to examine the independent significance of RIC treatment. RESULTS Among IMRT, 3D-CRT, and conventional 2D radiotherapy, the incidence of mandible RIC was higher in patients who received 3D-CRT (0.07%) than in those who received IMRT (0%). The proportion of mandible RICs was higher in patients who received 3D-CRT (16.667%) than in those who received IMRT (0%) and conventional 2D radiotherapy (3.529%). Regarding the histological type, the incidence of squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) was higher in patients who received conventional 2D radiotherapy (0.266%) than in those who received 3D-CRT (0.175%); patients who received IMRT had a higher proportion of SCC than those who received 3D-CRT/conventional 2D radiotherapy (86.4% vs. 41.7% vs. 74.2%); the incidence of sarcoma was higher in patients who received 3D-CRT (0.175%) than in those who received IMRT (0.025%); and the proportion of sarcoma was higher in patients who received 3D-CRT (41.667%) than in those who received IMRT (6.818%) and conventional 2D radiotherapy (17.647%). Patients who received surgery for RICs had better survival than those who received no surgery (64.49 vs. 12.42 months). In the univariate and multivariate analyses, surgery was an independent prognostic factor for overall survival. CONCLUSIONS Our results have implications for long-term follow-up of RIC, multidisciplinary management, and patient counseling of RIC after nasopharyngeal carcinoma treatment by treating clinicians.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To systematically evaluate the clinical efficacy of pregabalin and gabapentin in the treatment of postherpetic neuralgia (PHN), including the difference in pain control and occurrence of adverse reactions. METHODS PubMed, MEDLINE, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science databases were searched for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) comparing the efficacy of pregabalin and gabapentin in patients with PHN. Data from studies meeting the inclusion criteria were extracted and the Cochrane Risk of Bias risk assessment tool was used to evaluate the quality of the included studies. Revman 5.3 and Stata17 were used to perform the meta-analysis and to detect publication bias. RESULTS A total of 14 RCTs with 3545 patients were included in this study, including 926 in the pregabalin treatment group, 1256 in the gabapentin treatment group, and 1363 in the placebo control group. Pregabalin was better than gabapentin in alleviating pain and improving the global perception of change in pain and sleep (P < 0.05). Gabapentin was associated with a lower incidence of adverse events than pregabalin (P < 0.05). Funnel plot and Begg's and Egger's tests showed no significant publication bias. CONCLUSION Pregabalin appears to have a better overall therapeutic effect than gabapentin for patients with PHN, but gabapentin has a lower incidence of adverse reactions and a better safety profile. Clinicians should comprehensively consider patient factors and fully evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of each treatment option to select the most suitable drugs for patient use. Considering the limited quantity and quality of the existing literature, high-quality RCTs are needed to confirm the advantages of pregabalin over gabapentin in the treatment of PHN and guide clinical decision-making.

Abstract
The high chlorine (Cl) and lead (Pb) content characteristics of municipal solid waste incineration fly ash (MSWIFA) pose environmental risks and hinder resource utilization. Herein, an MSWIFA-based magnesium potassium phosphate cement (MKPC) preparation strategy was developed, which allowed the MSWIFA recycling and the Pb-Cl synergistic immobilization without the washing pretreatment. The compressive strength of the resulting 10 wt% MSWIFA-based MKPC was 28.44 MPa, with over 99.2% reduction in leaching toxicity of Pb and Cl. The high-angle annular dark field scanning transmission electron microscope (HAADF-STEM) and X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) analyzes showed that Pb, phosphate and Cl- formed Pb5(PO4)3Cl in MKPC. In-situ X-ray diffraction (XRD) tests showed that Pb3(PO4)2 was gradually transformed to Pb5(PO4)3Cl through a dissolution-precipitation process. The formation energy, Bader charge, charge density difference and density of states (DOS) of Pb5(PO4)3Cl were analyzed by first-principles calculations, confirming that Pb5(PO4)3Cl was more thermodynamically stable than Pb3(PO4)2 and PbCl2 and that electronic interactions between Pb-p, O-p, P-p and Cl-p orbits were the origin of Pb-Cl synergistic immobilization. This work provides a new strategy for the resource utilization of MSWIFA without washing pretreatment, and provides an in-depth understanding of the Pb-Cl synergistic immobilization mechanism.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The present study aimed to explore the mechanisms underlying the comorbidity of epilepsy and migraine, identify potential common targets for drug intervention, and provide insight into new avenues for disease prevention and treatment using an integrated bioinformatic and network pharmacology approach. METHODS Disease targets in epilepsy and migraine were screened using the DisGeNET database to identify intersecting gene targets. Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEEG) enrichment analyses were then performed using the WebGestalt database. Furthermore, the STRING database was used to construct a protein-protein interaction (PPI) network, and Cytoscape software was used to analyze the protein molecular signals at the intersection of epilepsy and migraine. The Drugbank database was used to identify common targets for antiepileptic drugs in epilepsy and migraine to further analyze the disease-gene-target-drug interaction network. Finally, molecular docking simulations were performed to verify the hypothesis that migraine and epilepsy share common diseases and drug targets. RESULTS A total of 178 common targets for epilepsy and migraine were identified using the DisGeNET database, and the 24 genes most related to the diseases were screened using the Score_gda gene scoring system. GO enrichment analysis indicated that common targets were mainly enriched in biological processes and molecular functions, including membrane potential regulation, inorganic ion transmembrane transport, axonal signaling, and ion channel activity. KEGG pathway enrichment analysis indicated that the mechanism of action might be related to neuroactive ligand receptors, AGE-RAGE, cAMP, and VEGF signaling pathways. The PPI network construction and analysis results showed that the PPI grid had 23 central nodes and 24 connected edges, with an average node degree of 2.09 and an average clustering coefficient of 0.384. The 10 genes with potentially important roles in epilepsy and migraine were CACNA1A, KCNQ2, KCNA1, SCN1A, PRRT2, SCN8A, KCNQ3, SCN2A, GRIN2A, and GABRG2. Drugbank database results indicated that antiepileptic drugs, including lamotrigine, topiramate, valproic acid, carbamazepine, gabapentin, and perampanel, also had common targets with migraine. The three most important targets exhibited strong binding affinity with drugs in the molecular docking simulations. CONCLUSION Our systematic and comprehensive analyses of disease-gene-target-drug interaction networks identified several biological processes and molecular functions common to migraine and epilepsy, most of which were related to neuroactive ligand-receptor interactions. These data provide a new theoretical basis and reference for the clinical treatment of comorbid epilepsy and migraine and may aid in the development of novel pharmacological strategies.

Abstract
To improve the degradation efficiency of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) in municipal solid waste incineration fly ash (MSWIFA), as well as to overcome the difficulties of subsequent hydrothermal liquid and hydrothermal slag treatment, a two-step treatment strategy of microwave hydrothermal degradation coupled with geopolymer immobilization was proposed. Results showed that the optimal process parameters for microwave hydrothermal dechlorination were a temperature of 220 °C, a time of 1 h, and NaOH addition of 10 wt%. Microwaves accelerated the OH- mediated hydrolysis reactions and promoted the breaking of CCl bonds, leading to dechlorination. The compressive strength of the 20 % MSWIFA-based geopolymers reached 75.79 MPa, and the immobilization rate of the heavy metals (HMs) and Cl- surpassed 90 %. Alkaline environment provided by microwave hydrothermal promoted the formation of Ca(OH)2, which subsequently formed Friedel's salt (3CaO•Al2O3•CaCl2•10H2O) with Cl- in the geopolymer. The charge density difference and density of states (DOS) of Friedel's salt were analyzed by first-principles calculations, confirming that the existence of strong interactions between Ca-s, Al-p, O-p, and Cl-p states was the chemical mechanism of Cl- immobilization. The Friedel's salt and HMs were encapsulated by geopolymers with dense silica-alumina tetrahedral frameworks, achieving the solidification/stabilization (S/S) of HMs and Cl-. This work provided a new approach for the environmentally sound and resourceful treatment of MSWIFA.

Abstract
This paper is dedicated to reviewing relative research on humanistic caring ability of intern nursing students and proposing strategies to improve humanistic caring ability. Firstly, current paper collected information from both domestic and foreign literature, and then scientific analysis, summary and overview of research results were conducted with regards to humanistic caring ability of interns nursing students. By analyzing the current situation of intern nursing students' humanistic caring ability, and factors that have influence on humanistic caring ability of intern nursing students, the present paper is determined to come up with feasible change methods and form strategic paths. At present, the humanistic care ability of intern nursing students is relatively low. Students, schools, hospitals, and the society all exert influence on the humanistic care ability of intern nursing students. Although scholars' research is different in topics or focus, the conclusions drawn from this research are highly consistent. Nursing humanistic care is the internal quality of nursing staff concerning morality, humanity, and integration of knowledge, concepts, and attitudes. Nursing humanistic care ability includes caring experience ability and caring behavior ability. The necessary psychological characteristics of personality are regarded as a special ability. It is of great significance to promote the quality of nursing and humanistic care ability of intern nursing students who serve as the backup force of nursing talent team. Meanwhile, it is imperative to strengthen the construction of intern nursing students' humanistic care ability.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The aim of our study was to elucidate the clinical characteristics of alcoholic-hyperlipidemic etiologically complex acute pancreatitis. PATIENTS AND METHODS We reviewed complete data from 233 patients with acute pancreatitis treated in our hospital during the period January 2017-January 2022. They were divided into three groups according to etiology: alcoholic acute pancreatitis (AAP), hyperlipidemic acute pancreatitis (HLAP), and alcoholic-hyperlipidemic acute pancreatitis (AHAP). General clinical data, co-morbidities, laboratory results, imaging data, and disease severity were analyzed and compared between groups. RESULTS The proportion of male individuals in the AHAP group was significantly higher than that in the HLAP group (p<0.001). Age of onset was lower and the number of cases with antibiotic use was higher in the AHAP group than in the AAP group (p<0.05). Additionally, the average alcohol intake each time and weekly alcohol intake were also higher in the AHAP group than in the AAP group (p<0.05). Comparison of disease severity (moderate and severe acute pancreatitis, severe acute pancreatitis, and modified computed tomography severity index score) revealed the disease condition to be more severe in the AHAP group than in the AAP and HLAP groups (p<0.05). Accordingly, patients in the AHAP group had longer hospital stays than those in the other two groups (p<0.05). There were no significant differences in alcohol consumption, severity, or length of hospital stay in the AHAP group (p>0.05). CONCLUSIONS The clinical characteristics of patients in the AHAP, AAP and HLAP groups were different, and the patients in the AHAP group were more likely to have a moderate to severe disease course, with longer hospital stay. As a new AP classification concept, AHAP would offer high significance for diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Epilepsy is a common central nervous system disorder with pathological mechanisms including inflammation, ion channel impairment, and neurotransmitter imbalance. Despite the rapid development of current anti-epileptic drugs, epilepsy is not well controlled, so there is still a need for research on the mechanisms and new drug targets for epilepsy. CXCL14 is a member of the CXC family of chemokines, and its receptor is currently unknown. Chemokines are the third major communication mediators in the central nervous system and play a role in many diseases. Therefore, we explore the expression of CXCL14 in epilepsy and its possible mechanisms. MATERIALS AND METHODS We chose the kainic acid (KA) mouse model as the epilepsy model, and studied the expression of CXCL14 in this model by western blot. Subsequently, after knocking down CXCL14, we explored the effect of CXCL14 on seizures by electrophysiology and FJB (Fluoro-Jade B) staining. Western blot and ELISA were used to explore the possible mechanism of CXCL14 affecting seizures. RESULTS CXCL14 expression gradually increased after a seizure until it peaked at 72 hours and then gradually decreased again. The knockdown of CXCL14 resulted in prolonged seizure latency, decreased seizure grade, and reduced degenerative necrosis of neurons in mice. Levels of GABA (γ-aminobutyric acid), GAD67 (glutamate decarboxylase 67) and GABAA receptor (γ-aminobutyric acid A receptor) were increased. CONCLUSION Our results suggest that CXCL14 expression is increased after seizures and may exacerbate seizures by regulating GABA metabolism. Abstract
Most of WRKY transcription factors play important roles in plant development, protection against disease, and response to abiotic stress; however, their roles in lily are largely unknown. Transcriptome analysis in lily (Lilium longiflorum) led to the identification and isolation of a WRKY-IIe gene, LlWRKY22, which was found to be activated at high temperature and play a positive role in thermotolerance regulation. LlWRKY22 expression was continuously activated by heat stress. We further found that LlWRKY22 protein localized to the nucleus and exhibited transactivation activity in both yeast and plant cells, and that its C terminus contributed to its transactivation activity. Meanwhile, overexpression of LlWRKY22 in lily improved thermotolerance and activated the expression of heat-related LlDREB2B gene; however, silencing of LlWRKY22 exerted the opposite effects. Further analysis revealed that LlWRKY22 directly activated the expression of LlDREB2B by binding to two tandem W-box elements on its promoter. Simultaneously, we also found that LlWRKY22 can directly bind its own promoter, thereby activating its own expression and forming a positive regulatory loop. Combined, our findings demonstrated that LlWRKY22 may be a new regulator of heat stress response and positively participates in the establishment of thermotolerance by activating itself and LlDREB2B.

Abstract
The current study examined (a) how veteran status, race, and other individual characteristics are associated with any lifetime incarceration in the U.S. adult population; and (b) differences between veterans and other adults with any incarceration histories on sociodemographic, health, and psychosocial characteristics. Data from structured interviews conducted in 2012-2013 on a nationally representative sample of 36,121 U.S. adults were analyzed. Results showed that male gender, U.S. born, history of homelessness, antisocial and borderline personality disorders, and various substance use disorders were independently associated with any lifetime incarceration (all adjusted odds ratios [AORs] ≥ 1.5). Veteran status was not significantly associated with any lifetime incarceration (AOR = 1.12). Among adults with any lifetime incarceration, veterans were more likely to be male than nonveterans (AOR = 5.90), but were otherwise similar in sociodemographic background, physical and mental health, and psychosocial characteristics. Being black was moderately associated with lifetime incarceration among both veterans and nonveterans (AOR = 1.54 and 1.50, respectively) with no significant veteran × race interaction. Collectively, these findings suggest veterans and nonveterans are similarly represented among Americans with any lifetime incarceration and share similar factors associated with incarceration. Although prevalence of incarceration did vary by race, psychosocial and substance abuse factors emerged as the major factors associated with incarceration, highlighting the importance of behavioral health and social services for at-risk adults across military and civilian settings. Abstract
A coupling catalyst of highly dispersed N, P co-doped carbon frames (NPCFs) anchored with Fe single atoms (SAs) and Fe2 P nanoparticles (NPs) is synthesized by a novel in situ doping-adsorption-phosphatization strategy for the electrocatalytic oxygen reduction reaction (ORR). The optimized Fe SAs-Fe2 P NPs/NPCFs-2.5 catalyst shows a superior ORR activity and stability in 0.5 m H2 SO4 and 0.1 m KOH, respectively. Theoretical calculations reveal a synergistic effect, in that the existence of Fe2 P weakens the adsorption of ORR intermediates on active sites and lowers the reaction free energy. The doped P atoms with a strong electron-donating ability elevate the energy level of Fe-3d orbitals and facilitate the adsorption of O2 . The active Fe atoms exist in a low oxidation state and are less positively charged, and they serve as an electron reservoir capable of donating and releasing electrons, thus improving the ORR activity. Operando and in situ characterization results indicate that the atomically dispersed FeN4 /FeP coupled active centers in the Fe SAs-Fe2 P NPs/NPCFs-2.5 catalyst are characteristic of the different catalytic mechanisms in acidic and alkaline media. This work proposes a novel idea for constructing coupling catalysts with atomic-level precision and provides a strong reference for the development of high-efficiency ORR electrocatalysts for practical application.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the method and efficacy of reconstruction of facial skin defects after removing the lesions by applying the V-Y subcutaneous pedicle flap. Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed on 23 patients with facial reconstruction by using V-Y subcutaneous pedicle flap in the Otolaryngology Department of Guangdong Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital from March 2012 to April 2021. Patient ages ranged from 45 to 85 years old, with a mean age of 66.5 years (14 males and 9 females). The facial lesion sites included cheek in 12 cases (nearly lower eyelid in 4 cases), nose in 4 cases, lips in 3 cases, temporal in 2 cases and mental region in 2 cases. The initial pathology included malignant tumors (7 cases of basal cell carcinoma (BCC), 2 cases of squamous cell carcinoma(SCC), and 1 case of malignant melanoma) and benign lesions (7 cases of keratoderma, 3 cases of intradermal nevus, 1 case of pilomatricoma, 1 case of cutaneous mixed tumor and 1 case of epidermal cyst). The V-Y subcutaneous facial pedicled flaps were designed reasonably after the facial lesions were excised. The advantages of blood supply, survival rate and adverse events of the flap were analyzed Chi-square test was used to compare the observation results of different types of patients. Results: The primary focus of 23 patients was excised surgically, and intraoperative frozen-section examinations were performed for obtaining margins negative as far as possible. One positive margin was still found in 1 patient after multiple resection in our group. The defect sizes were 14 mm×12 mm-59 mm×54 mm. All the flaps survived. The adverse events were slight necrosis of the epidermis at the junction or vicinity of the three arms of "Y" shaped in 4 cases, but the wounds finally recovered by wet compress and dressing change. There were no significant differences in the incidences of adverse events between double and single pedicle flaps (4/19 vs. 0/4), between benign and malignant lesions (4/13 vs. 0/10), and between patients with and without underlying diseases (1/6 vs. 3/17) (χ2 values were 0.98, 3.56, 0.01, respectively, all P>0.05). There were no other major complications such as dehiscence, hematoma, eyelid ectropion and lip deformation. The patients with benign lesions were followed-up at least for 3 months, while those with malignant tumors were followed-up for 6-36 months postoperatively, without recurrence. Conclusions: V-Y subcutaneous facial pedicled skin flap may be a "no-easy-necrotic" local flap in the repair of small and medium-sized facial defects.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The association between the spatially distributed level of active TGFβ1 in human subchondral bone, and the characteristic structural and cellular parameters of human knee OA, was assessed. DESIGN Paired subchondral bone samples from 35 OA arthroplasty patients, (15 men and 20 women, aged 69 ± 9 years) were obtained from beneath macroscopically present (CA+) or denuded cartilage (CA-) to determine the concentration of active TGFβ1 (ELISA) and its relationship to bone quality (synchrotron micro-CT), cellularity, and vascularization (histology). RESULTS Bone samples beneath (CA-) regions had significantly increased concentrations of active TGFβ1 protein (mean difference: 26.4; 95% CI: [3.2, 49.7]), when compared to bone in CA + regions. Trabecular Bone below (CA-) regions had increased bone volume (median difference: 4.3; 96.49% CI: [-1.7, 17.8]), increased trabecular number (1.5 [0.006, 2.6], decreased trabecular separation (-0.05 [-0.1,-0.005]), and increased bone mineral density (394.5 [65.7, 723.3]) comparing to (CA+) regions. Further, (CA-) bone regions showed increased osteocyte density (0.012 [0.006, 0.018]), with larger osteocyte lacunae (39.8 [7.8, 71.7]) that were less spherical (-0.02 [-0.04, -0.003]), and increased bone matrix vascularity (12.4 [0.3, 24.5]) compared to (CA+). In addition, increased levels of active TGFβ1 related to increased bone volume (0.04 [-0.11, 0.9]), while increased OARSI grade associated with lacunar volume (-44.1 [-71.1, -17.2]), and orientation (2.7 [0.8, 4.6]). CONCLUSION Increased concentration of active TGFβ1 in the subchondral bone of human knee OA associates spatially with impaired bone quality and disease severity, suggesting that TGFβ1 is a potential therapeutic target to prevent or reduce human OA disease progression.

Abstract
Development of a composite electrolyte with high ionic conductivity, excellent electrochemical stability and preeminent mechanical strength is beneficial for suppressing Li-dendrite penetration and unstable interfacial reactions in solid-state Li-metal batteries. Herein, a novel composite electrolyte material comprising perovskite Li0.485La0.505TiO3 (LLTO), poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO), and a barium titanate (BTO)-polyimide (PI) composite matrix has been successfully fabricated. Benefiting from the well-defined ion channels, the resulting BTO-PI@LLTO-PEO-FEC-LiTFSI (BP@LPFL) exhibits excellent cycling stability, low interfacial resistance, enhanced mechanical strength, and high ionic conductivity. Particularly, BP@LPFL possesses an excellent ionic conductivity of 3.0 × 10-4 S cm-1 at room temperature and achieves a wide electrochemical window of 5.2 V (vs. Li+/Li). For Li-LiFePO4 batteries, such an ingenious structure yields a discharge capacity of 124 mA h g-1 at 0.1 C after 200 cycles at room temperature and delivers a discharge capacity of 165 mA h g-1 at 0.1 C after 110 cycles at 60 °C. Additionally, the symmetric Li cell remains stable after 700 h at a current density of 0.5 mA cm-2. Furthermore, ex situ X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and ex situ scanning electron microscopy were used to verify the interface evolution. Besides, a flexible full battery is fabricated, which exhibits impressive performance. These properties presented here provide support for BP@LPFL as a feasible candidate electrolyte for solid-state lithium batteries.

Abstract
With the widespread application of intelligent systems in major industries, the traditional equipment manufacturing industry has gradually shifted to advanced equipment manufacturing. The innovation network of an industry directly affects the innovation capability of the industry, so the research of innovation network has always been the focus of attention. However, there are few researches on the innovation network of advanced equipment manufacturing industry, so this article has launched an in-depth study on it. First, it analyzes the basic geometric characteristics of the innovation network. Then, based on the small-world network model, an evolution model of the advanced equipment manufacturing innovation network was created, and simulation experiments were performed on the evolution model. The experimental results show that the clustering coefficient and the average distance showed different changes in different stages, but in the end they all gradually stabilized. The clustering coefficient was 0.484, the average distance was 1.854, and the degree of small cosmos was 0.497. This shows that the innovation network evolution model established in this study can reveal the evolution process of the innovation network of advanced equipment manufacturing through simulation experiments.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the prevalence, awareness, treatment and control status of dyslipidemia among females aged ≥35 years old across China. Methods: Participants were selected by stratified multistage random sampling method in the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" National Science and Technology Support Project "Survey on the Prevalence of Important Cardiovascular Diseases and Key Technology Research in China" project. This study is a retrospective, cross-sectional study. A total of 17 418 females aged 35 years and over were included in the current study. The basic information such as age, medical history and menopause was collected by questionnaire. The blood lipid parameters were derived from clinical laboratory examinations. The prevalence of dyslipidemia and the rate of awareness, treatment, and control of dyslipidemia were analyzed in females aged 35 years and over. Results: The age of participants was (56.2±13.0) years old, and the prevalence of dyslipidemia was 33.1% (5 765/17 418). The prevalence rates of high total cholesterol, hypertriglyceridemia, low HDL-C and high LDL-C were 9.7% (1 695/17 418), 11.1% (1 925/17 418), 10.9% (1 889/17 418) and 7.3% (1 262/17 418), respectively. The prevalence of dyslipidemia increased with age and the prevalence of dyslipidemia in women who were not married, Han, menarche age>16 years, obesity, central obesity, alcohol consumption, diabetes, hypertension and family history of cardiovascular disease were higher than those without such characteristics (P<0.05). There were 10 432 (59.9%) menopausal females in this cohort and prevalence of dyslipidemia of these participants was 38.8% (4 048/10 432), which was higher than that of non-postmenopausal females (24.6%, 1 717/6 986) (P<0.05). The awareness rates, treatment rates and control rates of dyslipidemia were 33.9% (1 953/5 765), 15.1% (870/5 765) and 2.5% (143/5 765) respectively among females aged 35 years and over in China. Conclusion: The prevalence of dyslipidemia in Chinese females aged 35 years and over is high, and its awareness, treatment, and control rates need to be optimized.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Menstrual migraine is a particular form of migraine with a significant impact on the quality of life for women afflicted. Presently, no study has reported the quality of life in menstrual migraine patients. This work aims to assess the health-related quality of life and identify its associated factors among Chinese menstrual migraine patients. METHODS The cross-sectional study group consisted of 109 patients with menstrual migraine, and the control group consisted of 397 female patients with non-menstrual migraine. In total, 506 patients completed questionnaires for demographic and clinical information, the Self-rating Idea of Suicide Scale, the Hamilton Depression Scale, the Hamilton Anxiety Scale, the Headache Impact Test-6, the Perceived Social Support Scale, the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index. Health-related quality of life was measured using the 36-Item Short Form Survey. RESULTS Compared with non-menstrual migraine patients, five dimensions of health-related quality of life were all found to be significantly impaired in menstrual migraine patients. Headache frequency (ß = - 0.218, P = 0.014), the impact of headache on daily life (ß = - 0.270, P = 0.002), depression symptoms (ß = - 0.345, P < 0.001) were significantly associated with physical component summary, depression symptoms (ß = - 0.379, P < 0.001), social support (ß = 0.270, P < 0.001), suicidal ideation (ß = - 0.344, P < 0.001) were closely related to mental component summary. CONCLUSION Menstrual migraine patients had a significantly poorer health-related quality of life in many domains than non-menstrual migraine patients. Headache frequency, the impact of headache on daily life, depression symptoms, social support, and suicidal ideation were significantly associated with health-related quality of life in menstrual migraine patients. Abstract
Objective: To construct a novel prognostic nomogram model based on more comprehensive variables for patients with small-cell lung cancer (SCLC). Methods: The data of 722 patients with SCLC confirmed by pathology in Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from January 2015 to December 2018 were retrospectively analyzed [including 592 males and 130 females, aged from 23 to 82(61±9) years]. A random seed count of 133 was used to divide those patients into training set (n=422) and validation set (n=300). Kaplan-Meier was used for survival curves analysis and univariate Log-rank test was used for evaluating the influence of clinical variables on the prognosis of sclc, variables with P<0.05 in univariate analysis were included in a multivariate Cox regression model. The nomogram was constructed based on the variables which P<0.05 in multivariate analysis. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve, calibration by Integrated Brier score (IBS) and clinical net benefit by decision curve analysis (DCA) were used to evaluate model discriminative power, prediction error value, and clinical net benefit, and compared with the American Joint Committee on Cancer 8th TNM. Results: Male, abnormal monocyte (MON) counts, abnormal neuron specific enolase (NSE), abnormal cytokeratin 19 fragment (Cyfra211), M1a stage, M1b stage, M1c stage, radiotherapy (RT), chemotherapy ≥4 cycles and prophylactic cranial irradiation (PCI) were prognostic factors for SCLC[HR(95%CI)=1.39(1.00-1.92), 1.29(1.02-1.63), 1.41(1.11-1.80), 2.02(1.48-2.76), 1.09(0.77-1.55), 1.44(0.94-2.22), 2.01(1.49-2.71), 0.75(0.57-0.98), 0.40(0.31-0.51)and 0.42(0.26-0.68), respectively, all P<0.05]. The area under ROC curve (AUC) of the nomogram in training set and validation set were 0.814(95%CI: 0.765-0.862)and 0.787 (95%CI: 0.725-0.849), which were higher than TNM [0.616(95%CI: 0.558-0.674) and 0.648(95%CI: 0.581-0.715)].The calibration curve showed a good correlation between the nomogram prediction and actual observation for the 2-year overall survival (OS). IBS indicted a lower prediction error rate (training set: 0.132 vs 0.169; validation set: 0.138 vs 0.169). DCA showed a wider threshold range than TNM (training set: 0.01-0.96 vs 0.01-0.85, validation set: 0.01-0.94 vs 0.01-0.86) and a greater improvement of the clinical net benefit (in training set the nomogram had a greater clinical benefit than TNM in the range of 0.19-0.96, and remained in validation set in the range of 0.19-0.94). Conclusion: The established nomogram model for predicting 2-year OS in patients with SCLC based on 8 variables, including gender, MON, NSE, Cyfra211, M stage, RT, CT cycles and PCI can be used for an more accurately prognosis prediction and reference for therapeutic regimen selection.
