Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinicopathological features as well as BRAF V600E and MYD88 L265P mutation status of nodal marginal zone B cell lymphoma (NMZL). Methods: Thirty-two cases of NMZL were diagnosed from September 2009 to February 2021 at the Henan Provincial People's Hospital and Peking University School of Basic Medical Sciences. The clinicopathologic characteristics were obtained and analyzed. BRAF V600E and MYD88 L265P mutation status were identified using PCR and Sanger sequencing, respectively. Results: There were 20 males and 12 females patients with a median age of 69 years (ranging 36-82 years). The most prevalent clinical manifestation was multiple lymph nodes enlargement in head and neck (22/32, 68.8%), followed by inguinal (12/32, 37.5%), axillary (11/32, 34.4%), mediastinum (5/32, 15.6%) and retroperitoneal lymph nodes (4/32, 12.5%). Most of the patients were in Ann Arbor stage Ⅰ/Ⅱ (21 cases). The morphologic features included diffuse (24/32, 75.0%), nodular (5/32, 15.6%), interfollicular (2/32,6.3%) and perifollicular (1/32,3.1%) types. The tumor cells showed monocyte-like, centrocyte-like, small lymphocyte-like and plasma cell-like differentiation. Immunophenotyping revealed diffuse expression of CD20 in all tumor cells, whereas CD43 (11/32, 34.4%), bcl-2 (20/32, 62.5%), MNDA (13/32, 40.6%) and CD5 (2/32, 6.3%) were partially expressed. Ki-67 proliferation index varied from 10% to 40%. BRAF V600E mutation was found in two cases (2/32, 6.3%), but MYD88 L265P mutation was not detected. Eighteen patients survived and three died at the end of follow-up period which ranged 6 to 110 months. Conclusions: The morphologic features of NMZL varies across individuals, it should be differentiated from various B-cell lymphomas; however immunological biomarkers with high specificity for NMZL are still lacking. No MYD88 L265P mutation is found in NMZL. Some cases may harbor BRAF V600E mutation and yet the prevalence remains indeterminate; further researches are warranted.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the sensitization characteristics of Juniperus chinensis pollen in patients with allergic rhinitis and/or allergic asthma in Beijing area, and to explore the characteristics of Juniper chinensis pollen sensitized population. Methods: Patients with suspected allergic rhinitis and/or asthma from January 2017 to December 2019 in the outpatient department of Allergy Department of Beijing Shijitan Hospital were selected in this study. Skin prick test (SPT) was performed with Juniper chinensis pollen allergen reagent to compare different age and disease allergen distribution, and to observe the sensitization characteristics of its population. All of the analyses were performed using SAS software version 9.4. Results: A total of 8 380 patients were enrolled in the end. The total positive rate of Juniper chinensis pollen SPT reached 49.92% (4 183/8 380). The positive rate of Juniper chinensis pollen SPT was highest in the 10-14 age group, reaching 60.99% (283/464). Compared with other age groups, there was a statistical difference (χ²=266.77, P<0.01). The SPT positive rate of patients aged less than 10 years increased with the increase of age, while the SPT positive rate of patients aged over 40 years decreased with the increase of age. Single Juniper chinensis pollen was less allergenic, accounting for about 25.05% (1 048/4 183), and the patients' age was (35.21±12.39) years. Regardless of single Juniper chinensis pollen or other pollen allergies, allergic rhinitis was the main disease. Among the patients with SPT positive Juniper chinensis pollen combined with other inhaled pollen allergens, willow pollen accounted for the first (74.99%). The positive rate of Juniper chinensis pollen was the highest in patients with single allergic rhinitis, accounting for 52.05% (3 797/7 295), and the rate in patients with single allergic asthma was the lowest, accounting for 17.49% (53/303), with statistically difference (χ²=138.99, P<0.01). Conclusions: Juniper chinensis pollen is highly sensitized in patients with allergic rhinitis and/or allergic asthma in Beijing . The positive rate of SPT is highest among 10-14 age group, most of which showed strong positive reaction, and allergic rhinitis is more common in Juniper chinensis pollen sensitization diseases.

Abstract
The Bower Manuscript (Bao Wei Er Xie Ben) is a Sanskrit document unearthed in Xinjiang in the 19th century. The ten drugs, which tasted sweet, and used widely were named as the "jīvanīya class of herbs" (Shi Tian Yao) in this document . It was found that "jīvanīya" tasted sweet, felt cold and was often used in tonic decoction for relieving serious vāta (Feng), with references to the ancient medical book Ayurveda and the modern Ayurvedic pharmacopoeia. "Jīvanīya" was constructed with different dossage forms, such as butter, oil, enema, ointment. It can treat some diseases of consumption of the lungs, epilepsy, consumptive diseases and fever of children in Bower Manuscript (Bao Wei Er Xie Ben). The theories of "jīvanīya" came from Ayurveda. Compared with the theories of traditional Chinese Medicine, the theory that "jīvanīya" can treat consumptive diseases appears similar to the theories in Su Wen about "Feng Xiao". The theories of Traditional Indian medicine and Chinese medicine appear resemblant, such as the commonalities in terms of using sweet tonics with liquorice and Fritillaria cirrhosa to treat comsumptive diseases.

Abstract
Semiconductor photocatalytic degradation of pollutants is considered to be one of the promising sustainable energy routes. Nevertheless, it is challenging for photocatalysts to have excellent visible light absorption and suppress photo-generated electron-hole recombination at the same time. Here, we prepared nitrogen-doped ZnO carbon skeleton by directly calcining the metal-organic framework. Then hierarchical Bi2MoO6 nanosheets are grown in situ on its surface to synthesize S-scheme heterojunction. This special 3D layered and oxygen vacancies work together to make photo-generated electrons and holes easier to separate and migrate. Therefore, the pseudo-first-order kinetic constant of N-doped ZnO carbon skeleton@Bi2MoO6 degradation of sulfamethoxazole reaches 0.022 min-1, which is almost 10 times that of ZIF-8 derived ZnO and 27.5 times Bi2MoO6 under visible light irradiation. Meanwhile, the mechanism of driving charge transfer of S-scheme heterojunction, and the photocatalytic degradation pathway of sulfamethoxazole are also analyzed. This work will provide a new way to construct S-scheme heterojunction photocatalyst to degrade antibiotic pollutants.

Abstract
Alzheimer's disease (AD) is an age-related neurodegenerative disorder. It is expected that the incidence of AD will increase exponentially in the coming decades. The clinical and research application of AD biomarkers has gone through a long process. At present, the clinical diagnostic criteria for AD mainly include the IWG-2 criteria developed by International Working Group (IWG), the NIA-AA criteria formulated by the National Institute on Aging and Alzheimer's Association (NIA-AA) and the "Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Alzheimer's Disease in China (2020 version)" released by the Professional Committee on Alzheimer's Disease and Related Diseases of the Chinese Geriatric Health Care Association (Alzheimer's Disease Chinese, ADC). Cerebrospinal fluid biomarkers such as Aβ42, T-tau and P-tau are recognized as central biomarkers for AD, besides, the development of new molecules in other pathophysiological pathway that can be used as biomarkers for the diagnosis of AD have made great progress in the last decade. This article elaborates studies of the application guidelines of AD biomarkers and highlights the research progress of biomarkers in AD pathophysiological pathway.

Activating Surface Lattice Oxygen of a Cu/Zn 1-xCu xO Catalyst through Interface Interactions for CO Oxidation. ACS APPLIED MATERIALS & INTERFACES 2022; 14:9882-9890. Abstract
Surface lattice oxygen in metal oxides is a common participant in many chemical reactions. Given this, the structural design of catalysts to activate lattice oxygen and moreover investigations into the effect of lattice oxygen on reaction pathways are hot topics. With this in mind, herein we prepare CuO-Zn1-xCuxO (ZCO) nanofibers akin to the Trojan horse legend and via an in situ reduction obtain activated Cu/Zn1-xCuxO (Cu/ZCO) nanofibers. X-ray absorption spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy reveal that surface lattice oxygen of Cu/ZCO is effectively activated from inert O2- to reactive O2-x. This activation stems from the enhanced covalence of metal-oxygen bonds and the electron transfer between Cu and the support. Online mass spectrometry reveals that Cu/ZCO with activated lattice oxygen exhibits a higher Mars-van Krevelen reaction efficiency during the CO oxidation process. This study offers a new avenue to engineer interface interactions, given, as highlighted here, the importance of surface lattice oxygen in oxide supports during the catalytic process.

Tunable metal-support interaction of Pt/CeO 2 catalyst via surfactant-assisted strategy: Insight into the total oxidation of CO and toluene. JOURNAL OF HAZARDOUS MATERIALS 2022; 424:127601. Abstract
Catalytic oxidation is promising in removing atmospheric pollutants to address serious environmental concerns. Supported Pt-based catalysts (e.g., Pt/CeO2) are most effective for catalytic removal of atmospheric pollutants. However, the catalytic performance is largely affected by the oxidation state of Pt, oxygen vacancy and metal-support interaction (MSI). Herein, two different types of Pt/CeO2 catalyst were fabricated via surfactant-assisted strategy and treated in different annealing atmospheres, which was applied to carbon monoxide (CO) and toluene (C7H8) oxidation, respectively. The results reveal that the as-synthesized Pt/CeO2-NH catalyst is favorable to C7H8 oxidation, whereas the contrast Pt/CeO2-AH is favorable to CO oxidation. Meanwhile, Pt/CeO2-NH catalyst also has high thermal stability facing high temperature (e.g., 400 °C). Various characterizations, such as in-situ Raman, XPS, CO-DRIFTS and XANES, clarifies that the Pt/CeO2-NH catalyst has a higher surface Pt0 proportion, a weak MSI and more oxygen vacancies. The corresponding theoretical calculation also supports the experimental results. These results advance efficient regulation and fundamental understanding of MSI, and the design of heterogeneous catalysts.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the application value of plasma heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein A2/B1(hnRNP A2B1), β-amyloid 42(Aβ42) and phosphorylated tau protein(P-tau) levels in elderly patients in the preoperative diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment(MCI). Methods: A total of 200 patients who underwent elective surgery at Tianjin Third Central Hospital from June 2020 to March 2021were Enrolled, regardless of gender, age 65-80 years old. According to the international MCI working group standards and the European Alzheimer's Disease Federation working group standards, patients were divided into MCI group and control group. There were 58 males and 42 females in each group. The patient's plasma hnRNP A2/B1, Aβ42 and P-tau levels were detected before operation. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of the diagnosis of MCI were calculated. The receiver operating characteristic curve were drew to evaluate the diagnostic value of each index. Results: The plasma levels of hnRNP A2/B1, Aβ42 and P-tau in the MCI group were 310.0 (275.1, 344.2), 34.5 (24.9, 42.5), 190.4 (150.4, 301.7) ng/L, respectively, which were significantly higher than those of the control group [272.7 (239.6, 291.5), 18.7 (14.7, 26.6), 140.0 (101.8, 217.5) ng/L]. The differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05). Taking the international MCI working group standard as the gold standard, the sensitivity, specificity and area under the ROC curve (AUC) of plasma hnRNP A2/B1 for predicting MCI were 80%, 61%, and 0.781, respectively. The sensitivity, specificity and AUC of plasma Aβ42 for predicting MCI were 78%, 73%, and 0.744. The sensitivity, specificity, and AUC of P-tau for predicting MCI were 51%, 79%, and 0.675, respectively. The sensitivity, specificity and AUC of hnRNP A2/B1 and Aβ42 in predicting MCI were not statistically significant (all P>0.05), but the sensitivity of both were higher than P-tau (all P<0.001). Compared with P-tau, the AUC of plasma hnRNP A2/B1 was higher when predicting MCI (P<0.05). When the three indicators were combined, the sensitivity was 82%, and the AUC was 0.842, both of which were the highest, but the specificity reduced (71%) (all P<0.05). Conclusions: Plasma hnRNP A2/B1 combined with Aβ42 and P-tau levels can improve the sensitivity and accuracy of MCI diagnosis in elderly MCI patients before surgery, and have the greatest diagnostic efficiency. It has certain application value.

Abstract
The evaluation methods of immune persistence include direct evaluation, indirect evaluation, model prediction, and meta-analysis and so on. Direct evaluation is the gold standard for evaluating the immune persistence of vaccines by quantifying the protective effect of vaccines on the onset and (or) infection of preventable diseases. Indirect evaluation of immune persistence by immunological surrogate indicators is more widely used in practice. In addition, mathematical models and meta-analysis can also be used to evaluate the immune persistence of vaccines. It is of great significance to select the appropriate evaluation method to analyze the immune persistence of the vaccine according to the specific situation.

Abstract
Recently, the LHAASO Collaboration published the detection of 12 ultrahigh-energy γ-ray sources above 100 TeV, with the highest energy photon reaching 1.4 PeV. The first detection of PeV γ rays from astrophysical sources may provide a very sensitive probe of the effect of the Lorentz invariance violation (LIV), which results in decay of high-energy γ rays in the superluminal scenario and hence a sharp cutoff of the energy spectrum. Two highest energy sources are studied in this work. No signature of the existence of the LIV is found in their energy spectra, and the lower limits on the LIV energy scale are derived. Our results show that the first-order LIV energy scale should be higher than about 10^{5} times the Planck scale M_{Pl} and that the second-order LIV scale is >10^{-3}M_{Pl}. Both limits improve by at least one order of magnitude the previous results.

Synergistic Effects of a CeO 2/SmMn 2O 5-H Diesel Oxidation Catalyst Induced by Acid-Selective Dissolution Drive the Catalytic Oxidation Reaction. Abstract
A diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) is installed upstream of an exhaust after-treatment line to remove CO and hydrocarbons and generate NO2. The catalyst should possess both good oxidation ability and thermal stability because it sits after the engine. We present a novel high-performance DOC with high steam resistance and thermal stability. A selective dissolution method is adopted to modify the surface physicochemical environment of CeO2-SmMn2O5. The X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, X-ray absorption spectroscopy, Raman, electron paramagnetic resonance, hydrogen temperature-programmed reduction, and temperature-programmed desorption results reveal that surface Sm cations are partially removed with the exposure of more Mn4+ and Ce3+ cations and the presence of active surface oxygen species. This mechanism benefits the oxygen transformation from Ce to Mn and promotes the Ce3+ + Mn4+ ↔ Ce4+ + Mn3+ redox cycle according to the in situ near-ambient pressure X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and in situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transformation spectroscopy results. Under laboratory-simulated diesel combustion conditions, the catalyst demonstrates excellent low-temperature oxidation catalytic activity (CO and C3H6 conversion: T100 = 250 °C) compared to a Pt-based catalyst (CO and C3H6 conversion: T100 = 310 °C) with a WHSV of 120,000 mL g-1 h-1. Specifically, NO conversion reaches 68% when the temperature is approximately 300 °C.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the migration of the HIV/AIDS cases and related factors in Liangshan Yi autonomous prefecture (Liangshan). Methods: According to HIV/AIDS Comprehensive Response Information Management System of China Information System for Disease Control and Prevention, a total of 28 772 HIV/AIDS cases who had follow-up records in Liangshan in 2020 were included in the survey. The migration of the HIV/AIDS cases was described and the related factors were analyzed using multiple logistic regression models, and the migration destinations of the HIV/AIDS cases were mapped. Results: Among the 28 772 HIV/AIDS cases, 20.89% (6 010/28 772) had migration in 2020. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that among the HIV/AIDS cases, the migration related factors included being aged 15-24 years (compared with being aged 0-14 years, OR=2.74, 95%CI:2.04-3.69) and ethnic group (compared with Han ethnic group, OR=2.44, 95%CI:2.19-2.72), having education level of junior high school (compared with having education level of primary school or below, OR=1.25, 95%CI:1.14-1.38), being unmarried (compared with being married, OR=1.29, 95%CI:1.20-1.39), being engaged in business services (compared with being engaged in farming, OR=1.96, 95%CI:1.31-2.92), receiving antiviral treatment <1 year (compared with receiving antiviral treatment >3 years, OR=1.42, 95%CI:1.26-1.61), having recent CD4+T lymphocytes (CD4) counts >500 cells/μl (compared with having recent CD4 counts <200 cells/μl, OR=1.15, 95%CI:1.03-1.29). The geographical distribution maps showed that among all cities in Sichuan, Xichang (13.26%, 797/6 010) and Chengdu (10.12%,608/6 010) were the main migration destinations of the HIV/AIDS cases, and the provinces outside Sichuan where the HIV/AIDS cases would like to migrate to were mainly Guangdong (18.19%, 1 093/6 010) and Zhejiang provinces (7.67%, 461/6 010) in 2020. The HIV/AIDS cases who migrated where Liangshan, within Sichuan province, and to other provinces accounted for 27.67% (1 663/6 010), 15.34% (922/6 010) and 56.99% (3 425/6 010), respectively. Conclusions: More attention should be paid to the mobility characteristics and the classification management of HIV/AIDS cases according to their characteristics in Liangshan. Timely access to information on changes in the place of work and residence of HIV/AIDS cases should be warranted when they have migration. Good referrals and management for mobility of HIV/AIDS cases in different places should be made to reduce loss to follow-up and improving interventions.

Abstract
Electrochemical CO2 reduction (CO2 ECR) is an efficient approach to achieving eco-friendly energy generation and environmental sustainability. This approach is capable of lowering the CO2 greenhouse gas concentration in the atmosphere while producing various valuable fuels and products. For catalytic CO2 ECR, two-dimensional (2D) materials stand as promising catalyst candidates due to their superior electrical conductivity, abundant dangling bonds, and tremendous amounts of surface active sites. On the other hand, the investigations on fundamental reaction mechanisms in CO2 ECR are highly demanded but usually require advanced in situ and operando multimodal characterizations. This review summarizes recent advances in the development, engineering, and structure-activity relationships of 2D materials for CO2 ECR. Furthermore, we overview state-of-the-art in situ and operando characterization techniques, which are used to investigate the catalytic reaction mechanisms with the spatial resolution from the micron-scale to the atomic scale, and with the temporal resolution from femtoseconds to seconds. Finally, we conclude this review by outlining challenges and opportunities for future development in this field.

Abstract
Objective: To develop a measurement scale for the public health and safety literacy of university freshmen. Methods: Item pooling was conducted through literature review and in-depth interview with public health experts, and a nominal group was organized to develop the initial items to form the questionnaire. A total of 250 freshmen were randomly selected to complete the questionnaire, and the assessment of psychometric properties were performed to carry out item reduction by using classical test theory and item response theory. Exploratory factor analysis method (EFA) was employed to calculate the item-factor loadings. The data collected from another 318 freshmen were analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis method (CFA). Results: The scale contained 3 dimensions and 9 items with all content validity index ≥0.8. The difficulty coefficient of 9 items was 1.18-2.43. The discriminative validity analysis showed that the difficulty index was 0.41-0.78, and the discrimination index was 0.38-0.64. Each of the remaining items had a statistically significant difference in the score value between the top 27% and lowest 27% of respondents (t>3, P<0.05). The item's Cronbach's α was 0.72-0.77, corrected item-total correlation was 0.33-0.60 and the overall α of the scale was 0.77. EFA indicated all item-factor loading were higher than 0.680, and the accumulated variance contribution of the 3 factors was 62.484%. Results of CFA showed that the overall fitness index of the model reached the fitness standard except for the χ2 value. There was no statistical significance in the total score of the scale and the scores of each item among groups with different demographic characteristics (P>0.05). Conclusions: The newly developed public health safety literacy scale had a good reliability, validity, stability and item constancy. It can be used in measurement of the public health and safety literacy of university freshmen.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the feasibility and efficacy of mini-incision with endoscope-assisted resection for bilateral congenital second branchial cleft fistula, and to report on a rare pedigree. Methods: The clinical data of 5 patients with bilateral congenital second branchial fistula admitted in Fujian Provincial Hospital from April 2007 to December 2018 were retrospectively reviewed, including 2 males and 3 females, aged from 3 to 31 years old. The surgical strateges and clinical experience of single mini-incision with endoscope-assisted fistulectomy were summarized, and a rare pedigree was reported. Results: In five patients, Case 1 to Case 4 were treated with bilateral endoscopic-assisted fistula high ligation with titanium clips and removal through a single small incision under general anesthesia. No obvious complications occurred after the operation. The patients were followed up for 40-164 months with no fistula recurrence. Case 5 gave up surgical resection and was followed up for 24 months with acute infection attack once. Case 2 and Case 4 came from the same family. In this family, 7 out of 31 members of four generations had second branchial cleft fistulas, of which 4 were bilateral and 3 were right. Pedigree analysis was consistent with autosomal dominant inheritance. No deafness, preauricular tag, external and middle ear deformity and kidney malformation were found in the family members. Conclusions: Bilateral congenital second branchial cleft fistula is rare. Surgical resection is the preferred treatment. Mini-incision with endoscopic-assisted fistula high ligation with titanium clip and resection has clear operative field, ideal cosmetic effect and definite curative effect.

Abstract
Objective: To study the correlation between low-density lipoprotein particles (LDL-P) with other lipoprotein indexes. To explore the correlation between LDL-P and its subgroup particles(LDL1-P-LDL6-P) with the degree of coronary artery stenosis in patients with coronary atherosclerotic heart disease(CHD) combining with the result of coronary arteriography. To explore the value of lipoprotein subgroup granules in preventing the severity of coronary artery stenosis in CHD patients. Methods: Cross-sectional study. A total of 259 patients without lipid-lowering drugs for coronary angiography in the department of cardiology of TEDA International Cardiovascular Hospital during 3 months from August 2019 to December 2019 were collected, and 52 healthy subjects were recruited during the same period. The level of high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and other biochemical indexes were detected by automatic biochemical analyzer. The level of LDL-P and other biochemical indexes were detected by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy(NMRS). The relation between various biomarkers levels with coronary artery stenosis degree was analyzed. Analysis of variance and nonparametric tests were used to compare the differences of indexes among each group. Pearson correlation analysis was used to determine the correlation among the measured indexes. Logistic regression was used for multi-factor analysis, ROC curve was used to evaluate the diagnostic value of related indexes. Results: LDL-P was highly correlated with low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C),apolipoprotein B (ApoB) and total cholesterol (TC) (r= 0.927, P<0.001; r=0.921, P<0.001; r=0.844, P<0.001). LDL-P, LDL4-P, LDL5-P and LDL6-P in patients with severe coronary stenosis were higher than those in patients with mild coronary stenosis(U=4 172.000, Z=4.256, P<0.001; t=2.573, P=0.011; U=3 995.000, Z=4.621, P<0.001;t=5.223, P<0.001), LDL-P and LDL6-P were higher than those of patients with moderate coronary stenosis (U=1 159.000, Z=2.294, P=0.022; t=2.075, P=0.041). High levels of hs-CRP, LDL5-P and LDL6-P were risk factors for the degree of coronary stenosis(OR=1.095, P=0.036;OR=1.015, P=0.046;OR=1.012, P=0.039). ROC analysis showed that the AUC of LDL-P, LDL5-P and LDL6-P on coronary stenosis was 0.67, 0.68 and 0.69, respectively. Hs-CRP combined with LDL5-P and LDL6-P had the greatest effect on the degree of coronary stenosis (AUC= 0.70). Conclusions: LDL-P is highly correlated with LDL-C. The levels of LDL-P and LDL6-P were significantly higher in patients with severe stenosis than in patients with mild and moderate stenosis. hs-CRP, LDL5-P and LDL6-P can be used as new risk factors for the degree of coronary stenosis and may be further used as risk predictors. The combined detection of hs-CRP, LDL5-P and LDL6-P is helpful for the diagnosis of the severity of coronary stenosis, and may further become risk predictors.

Macrophage responses to selective laser-melted Ti-6Al-4V scaffolds of different pore geometries and the corresponding osteoimmunomodulatory effects toward osteogenesis. Abstract
Following recent advances in osteoimmunology, there is growing recognition of the vital role of immune cells in the osteogenesis process. The 3D-printed scaffold, as a substitute for injured and/or diseased bone tissues, has demonstrated satisfactory pro-osteogenetic performance. However, whether immune cells prompt the above pro-osteogenetic performance has not been elucidated in detail. In the present study, highly controllable Ti-6Al-4V scaffolds with different pore geometries were fabricated using a selective laser-melting technique, to reveal their osteoimmunological functions with macrophages. The results showed that macrophages displayed characteristics of M2 phenotype in response to scaffolds. As a result, an anti-inflammatory microenvironment was generated. When the pore geometry was considered, such observations were more apparent with the hexagonal pore scaffold than with the triangular one. In addition, inhibition of the toll-like receptor signaling pathway in macrophages has been proposed to cause the above phenomenon. Upon applying conditioned media derived from macrophages on pre-osteoblasts, the hexagonal pore scaffold group was found to significantly enhance osteoblastic differentiation, via macrophage-to-implant interactions. However, the effect of triangular pore scaffold was not statistically significant compared to that of hexagonal pore scaffolds or nonporous samples. In an attempt to quantify scaffold pore geometries, it was suggested that pores with higher circularity values tended to induce M2 polarization of macrophages, promote an anti-inflammatory milieu, and therefore, achieve better osteogenetic performance via immunomodulation.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE This study aims to examine the association of menopausal status and symptoms with depressive symptoms. METHODS A community-based cross-sectional survey recruited 6745 women aged 40-55 years in the eastern, central and western regions of China in 2018. Menopausal status was categorized into reproductive stage, perimenopause or postmenopause according to the Stages of Reproductive Aging Workshop classification. Menopausal symptoms were determined by the modified Kupperman Menopausal Index and classified as none (total score < 15), mild (15 ≤ total score ≤ 24) or moderate to severe (total score ≥ 25). Logistic regression models were used to examine the associations of menopausal status and symptoms with depressive symptoms assessed by the Patient Health Questionnaire-9. RESULTS The prevalence of depressive symptoms among women in the reproductive stage, perimenopause and postmenopause was 15.4%, 23.9% and 22.8%, respectively. After multivariable adjustment, perimenopause (odds ratio [OR] = 1.21, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.01-1.47) and postmenopause (OR = 1.28, 95% CI: 1.04-1.58) were associated with higher risk for depressive symptoms than during the reproductive stage. Mild (OR = 5.55, 95% CI: 4.68-6.59) and moderate-to-severe (OR = 14.77, 95% CI: 10.94-19.94) menopausal symptoms were associated with increased likelihood of depressive symptoms compared to the group reporting no menopausal symptoms. CONCLUSIONS Menopausal status and symptoms were independently associated with the risk of depressive symptoms in middle-aged Chinese women.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To establish a deep learning-based visual model for intelligent recognition of Oncomelania hupensis, the intermediate host of Schistosoma japonicum, and evaluate the effects of different training strategies for O. hupensis image recognition. METHODS A total of 2 614 datasets of O. hupensis snails and 4 similar snails were generated through field sampling and internet capture, and were divided into training sets and test sets. An intelligent recognition model was created based on deep learning, and was trained and tested. The precision, sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, F1 score and Youden index were calculated. In addition, the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve of the model for snail recognition was plotted to evaluate the effects of "new learning", "transfer learning" and "transfer learning + data enhancement" training strategies on the accuracy of the model for snail recognition. RESULTS Under the "transfer learning + data enhancement" strategy, the precision, sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, Youden index and F1 score of the model were 90.10%, 91.00%, 97.50%, 96.20%, 88.50% and 90.51% for snail recognition, which were all higher than those under both "new learning" and "transfer learning" strategies. There were significant differences in the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of the model for snail recognition under "new learning", "transfer learning" and "transfer learning + data enhancement" training strategies (all P values < 0.001). In addition, the area under the ROC curve of the model was highest (0.94) under the "transfer learning + dataenhancement" training strategy. CONCLUSIONS This is the first visual model for intelligent recognition of O. hupensis based on deep learning, which shows a high accuracy for snail image recognition. The "transfer learning + data enhancement" training strategy is helpful to improve the accuracy of the model for snail recognition.

Abstract
H3BP targeted ANP32A against AML by competitively disrupting ANP32A and H3 interaction and decreasing H3 acetylation and the expression of lipid metabolism genes. Expressed H3BP-GFP and synthetic TAT-H3BP peptide impaired H3 acetylation on multiple locus of target genes that reduced proliferation and caused apoptosis of leukemia cells in vitro. TAT-H3BP exhibits potent efficacy against leukemia in vivo: Intra-tumor injection of TAT-H3BP peptide prominently diminished the volume of subcutaneous tumors in nude mice; AMKL mice engrafted with TAT-H3BP-pretreated 6133/MPL W515L cells displayed dramatically moderated disease burden and prolonged survival time. TAT-H3BP peptide possess a therapeutic potential in patients with AML for micromole concentration of TAT-H3BP peptide efficiently inhibited the proliferation and CFU of human primary leukemia cells from AML patients. High ANP32A levels in human primary AML cells correlate with the intervention effect of TAT-H3BP peptide.
Clinic therapy of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) remains unsatisfactory that urges for development of novel strategies. Recent studies identified ANP32A as a novel biomarker of unfavorable outcome of leukemia, which promoted leukemogenesis by increasing H3 acetylation and the expression of lipid metabolism genes. It is of great significance to investigate whether targeting ANP32A is a novel strategy for leukemia therapy. To target ANP32A, we identified a peptide that competed with ANP32A to bind to histone 3 (termed as H3-binding peptide, H3BP). Disrupting ANP32A and H3 interaction by the overexpression of H3BP-GFP fusion protein mimicked the effect of ANP32A knockdown, impaired H3 acetylation on multiple locus of target genes, reduced proliferation, and caused apoptosis in leukemia cells. Furthermore, a synthesized membrane-penetrating peptide TAT-H3BP effectively entered into leukemia cells and phenocopied such effect. In vivo, TAT-H3BP showed potent efficacy against leukemia: Intra-tumor injection of TAT-H3BP significantly reduced the volume of subcutaneous tumors in nude mice and recipient mice engrafted with TAT-H3BP-pretreated 6133/MPL W515L cells exhibited ameliorated leukemia burden and prolonged survival. Noticeably, TAT-H3BP efficiently suppressed proliferation and colony-forming unit of human primary AML cells without affecting normal cord blood cells. Our findings demonstrate that intervening the physical interaction of ANP32A with H3 impairs the oncogenicity of ANP32A and may be a promising therapeutic strategy against AML.

Abstract
A temperature-controlled cation-exchange approach is introduced to achieve a unique dual-exsolution in perovskite La0.8 Fe0.9 Co0.1 O3-δ where both CoFe alloy and Co metal are simultaneously exsolved from the parent perovskite, forming an alloy and metal co-decorated perovskite oxide. Mossbauer spectra show that cation exchange of Fe atoms in CoFe alloy and Co cations in the perovskite is the key to the co-existence of Co metal and CoFe alloy. The obtained composite exhibits an enhanced catalytic activity as Li-O2 battery cathode catalysts with a specific discharge capacity of 6549.7 mAh g-1 and a cycling performance of 215 cycles without noticeable degradation. Calculations show that the combination of decorated CoFe alloy and Co metal synergistically modulated the discharge reaction pathway that improves the performance of Li-O2 battery.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To evaluate the changes of heart structure and function in elite Chinese weightlifters by spot tracking technique. METHODS Chinese elite male weightlifters (weightlifter group, n=16) and age-matched healthy men (control group, n=16) were included as subjects. Transthoracic echocardiography and speckle-tracking automatic functional imaging were used for two-dimensional myocardial strain measurements. RESULTS The thickness of septum and left ventricular (LV) posterior wall and the myocardial mass index of LV were all higher than those of the control group [(9.3±1.3) mm vs. (8.0±0.4) mm, (9.2±0.8) mm vs. (8.0±0.8) mm, (77.8±12.8) g/m2 vs. (67.8±11.2) g/m2, all P < 0.05]. Although the LV ejection fraction (LVEF) and global long axis strain value (LVGLS) were not significantly different from those in the control group, the LV mean Sm and Em reflecting the systolic and diastolic functions of the LV were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Further myocardial strain analysis showed that the absolute value of the long axial strain of the basal anteroseptal and mid-inferoseptal segments of the weightlifters were significantly lower than those of the control group [|(-15.1±4.2)%|vs.|(-18.7±3.0)%|, |(-18.8±2.6)%|vs.|(-21.3±2.8)%|, all P < 0.05]. There was no significant difference in other segments. The athletes were divided into two groups according to their best performance in the National Youth Games. The athletes were divided into two sub-groups according to their performance in the National Youth Games. The thickness of the septum in the sub-group with better performance (who ranked the 1st to 8th) was larger [(10.2±1.1) mm vs. (8.5±1.0) mm, P < 0.05], and the absolute value of the long-axis strain in the mid-inferoseptal segment was lower [|(-17.1±2.1)%|vs.|(-20.4±2.1)%|, P < 0.05]. CONCLUSION The thickening of septum is more obvious in the excellent weightlifters, accompanied by the decrease of myocardial systolic function. The speckle-tracking technique of echocardiography can identify the changes of the heart structure and function of elite athletes at an early stage, which may provide a basis for sports medicine supervision and the selection of excellent talents.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE This study aimed to characterize Neolithic human maxillary molars from archeological remains at the Jiaojia site, Shandong, China, and compare their ultrastructural features with sex and age-matched modern locals. DESIGN Maxillary first (n = 86) and second (n = 80) molars in 5000-year-old individuals (n = 50) from the Jiaojia site were scanned by cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT). Sex and age-matched control groups were assigned from oral surgical patients at Shandong University. Images were analyzed for crown size, root length, root morphology, canal inter-orifice distances, mesiobuccal canal morphology, and second mesiobuccal (MB2) canal prevalence and location. Neolithic and modern values were compared statistically using Chi-squared and Mann-Whitney test at p < .05. RESULTS Crown and root size were smaller, and canal inter-orifice distances were shorter in Neolithic maxillary molars than their modern counterparts. For mesiobuccal roots, Weine's Type I single canals were the most prevalent in Neolithic and modern first and second molars. MB2 canal prevalence were not significantly different (p > .05) in Neolithic (53.3%) or modern (60.5%) first molars, and Neolithic (11.3%) or modern (21.3%) second molars. But, MB2 prevalence was significantly higher for modern than ancient male first (p = .032) and second (p = .005) molars. Additionally, MB2 were located more mesially and closer to MB1 in Neolithic than modern molars. CONCLUSIONS Maxillary molar root and canal morphology of ancient 5000-year-old remains at the Jiaojia site resemble that of local patients. A trend towards larger tooth size, and more dispersed MB2 canals over this short evolutionary period warrants additional investigation.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the time and characteristics of screen exposure, to analyze the risk factors affecting screen exposure in children aged 3 years and younger, and to provide scientific basis for the intervention of screen exposure in children. Methods: The data were collected by convenience sampling from 317 children for routine examination aged 0-36 months who visited the Department of Child Healthcare, Children's Hospital, Capital Institute of Pediatrics from December 2019 to December 2020. Self-designed questionnaires of the screen exposure were completed by the parents. The basic information, home nurture environment and screen exposure conditions were investigated. Children <18 months of age who used electronic devices and 18-36 months of age who spent more than 1 h/d on electronic devices were defined as with screen exposure. The differences between <18 and 18-36 months of age were compared by rank sum test. Chi-square test and multivariate Logistic regression were used to analyze the association between screen exposure and potential influential factors. Results: Among 317 children, 209 were boys and 108 girls, aged (28±10) months. There were 117 patients aged <18 months and 200 patients aged 18-36 months. Screen exposure time was 0.3 (0, 1.0) h/d and 1.2 (0.6, 2.0) h/d in children aged <18 months and aged 18-36 months, respectively (Z=-6.770, P<0.01). The proportion of screen exposure was 25.6% (30/117) and 49.0% (98/200) in two age groups, respectively. Logistic regression analysis disclosed that not being the first child (OR=3.81, 95%CI: 1.13-12.77, P=0.030), caregivers spending >1 h/d on electronic devices in front of their children (OR=7.39, 95%CI: 2.24-24.46, P=0.001), caregivers believing that screen exposure can promote early childhood development (OR=4.14, 95%CI: 1.26-13.52, P=0.019) were risk factors for children's screen exposure in <18 months of age. Caregivers spending >1 h/d on electronic devices in front of their children (OR=3.29, 95%CI: 1.78-6.08, P<0.01) was risk factor for children's screen exposure in 18-36 months of age. Mothers with bachelor's or higher degree (OR=0.19, 95%CI: 0.05-0.66, P=0.009; OR=0.35, 95%CI: 0.19-0.66, P=0.001), no television in living room (OR=0.11, 95%CI: 0.03-0.42, P=0.001; OR=0.45, 95%CI: 0.21-0.98, P=0.045) were protective factors for children's screen exposure in children <18 months and 18-36 months of age. Conclusions: Excessive screen exposure is common among children aged 3 years and younger. The exposure time increases with age, and is affected by several factors.

Abstract
Objective To evaluate the medium‐term outcomes of one‐stage posterior lumbosacral or lumbopelvic fixation treatment of lumbosacral junction tuberculosis in adults. Methods This retrospective study enrolled a total of 38 adult patients (24 males and 14 females) with an average age of 48.0 ± 13.0 years (range, 25–75 years) during the period from February 2008 to July 2015. All patients were treated by one‐stage posterior debridement, interbody fusion, lumbosacral or lumbopelvic fixation, and postural drainage. After pedicle screw or iliac screw fixation, a hemi‐laminectomy or laminectomy was performed on the severely damaged side of the lesion segment. Intervertebral bone grafting and intertransverse bone grafting were performed after clearing the focus of tuberculosis. All cases were followed up for at least 5 years. Intraoperative blood loss, operative time, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), pain intensity was assessed by visual analog scale (VAS) score; neurological function was assessed by Japanese Orthopaedic Association (JOA) score; quality of life was assessed by Oswestry Disability Index (ODI); functional outcome, lumbosacral angle, and fusion time were gathered and analyzed. All data expressed as mean ± standard deviation. Results During the 66.2 ± 4.4 months (range, 60–78 months) follow‐up, all patients achieved clinical cure without severe complications. The intraoperative blood loss was 726.3 ± 151.9 mL (range, 400–1100 mL) and the operative time was 137.6 ± 22.5 min (range, 110–200 min). The ESR decreased to normal levels within (11.8 ± 2.6 mm/h) 3 months postoperatively. The VAS score significantly decreased from 6.8 ± 1.1 preoperatively to 0.8 ± 0.7 at the final follow‐up (P < 0.01). The mean JOA improved from preoperative 18.5 ± 2.9 to 26.9 ± 1.1 at the last visit (P < 0.01). The mean ODI was 44.3 ± 6.7 and significantly decreased to 9.3 ± 1.9 at the final observation (P < 0.01). Patient‐reported outcomes as measured by Kirkaldy‐Willis criteria were excellent in 21 cases, good in 16 cases, and fair in one case; there were no poor outcomes. Lumbosacral angle increased from the preoperative values of 21.7° ± 1.8° to the postoperative values of 26.4° ± 1.4° (P < 0.01), with an angle loss of 1.2° ± 0.7° at the last follow‐up. Bone fusion occurred on average 12.8 ± 1.9 months (range, 9–15 months) after surgery. No nonunion, pseudarthrosis, loosening or fracture of instruments occurred at the last follow‐up. Conclusion One‐stage posterior debridement, interbody fusion, lumbosacral or lumbopelvic fixation, and postural drainage according to the severity of sacral destruction is an effective and highly safe procedure to treat lumbosacral junction tuberculosis in adults.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the variation regularity and influencing factors of cortical auditory evoked potential (CAEP) evoked by pure tone, syllable and tone stimuli in cochlear implant (CI) children. Methods: Cortical auditory evoked potential (CAEP) responses were collected from 46 CI children in the sound field. Pure tones with frequencies of 1 kHz and 2 kHz were used as the standard and the deviant respectively in the pure tone stimulation condition. The Chinese Mandarin tokens/ba/-/pa/and/ba1/-/ba4/pairs were used as the stimuli respectively in the syllable and tone stimulation condition. The latency, amplitude and presence rate of P1 and mismatch negative(MMN) were obtained and the correlation between the difficulty of auditory task, the age of hearing month, the duration of severe-profound hearing loss, the wearing history of hearing aid before CI, the hearing threshold of the better ear before CI and the latency and amplitude of P1 and MMN were analyzed. All statistical analyses and figures were conducted using SPSS 25.0. Results: The P1 presence rate of pure tone, syllable and tone group was 100% (17/17), 100% (13/13) and 75.0% (12/16), respectively, with significant difference (χ²=8.214, P=0.016). There was significant difference between pure tone group and tone group (χ²=4.836, P=0.028), but no significant difference between pure tone group and syllable group, syllable group and tone group. The MMN presence rate of pure tone, syllable and tone group was 94.1% (16/17), 84.6% (11/13) and 62.5% (10/16), respectively, but no significant difference among the three groups with different auditory tasks(χ²=0.066, P=0.066). No significant difference was observed among the three groups of different auditory tasks in the latency and amplitude of P1 and MMN. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the latency of P1 was positively correlated with the difficulty of auditory task and the hearing threshold of the better ear before CI, and negatively correlated with hearing age and the history of hearing aid before CI. The latency of MMN was positively correlated with the difficulty of auditory task, and negatively correlated with hearing age. Conclusions: The P1 presence rate of pure tone auditory task is significantly higher than that of tone auditory task. The difficulty of auditory task, hearing age, the history of hearing aid before CI, and the hearing threshold of the better ear before CI has significant effects on the P1 latency. The difficulty of auditory task and hearing age has significant effects on the MMN latency.

Abstract
To analyze the sensitization characteristics and significance of airborne allergens in chronic urticaria (CU) with airway allergic diseases (allergic rhinitis and/or asthma). From May to August 2015, the Department of allergy, Beijing Shijitan Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University conducted an epidemiological survey of allergic diseases in grassland area of Inner Mongolia by multistage stratified cluster sampling. The results of skin prick test (SPT) for airborne allergens in 191 patients with CU and 1 132 patients with airway allergic diseases were analyzed. The statistical data were tested by chi-square segmentation method, and the stratified trend of rate was tested by Linear-by-Linear. Among the 191 patients with CU, 92 (48.17%) had CU without airway allergic diseases (CU alone), and 99 (51.83%) had CU with airway allergic diseases. The top three air allergens were house dust mite, chenopodium pollen and salix pollen in CU alone (only one is the major local allergen), and artemisia, humulus scandens and chenopodium pollen in CU with airway allergic diseases (All are the main local allergens) and airway allergic diseases. Compared between CU alone and CU with airway allergic disease, the positive rate of allergen SPT and multiple strong positive rate were statistically significant (59.60% vs 38.04%, χ²=13.336;27.12% vs 2.86%, χ²=8.729;P<0.016 7).There was no significant difference in positive rate of skin prick, multiple positive rate, strong positive rate and multiple strong positive rate between CU with airway allergic disease and airway allergic diseases (59.60% vs 57.69%, χ²=0.136, P>0.016 7; 71.19% vs 75.20%, χ²=0.461, P>0.016 7; 54.24% vs 69.68%, χ²=5.969, P>0.016 7; 27.12% vs 37.83%, χ²=2.663, P>0.016 7), but there was significant difference in these between CU without airway allergic disease and airway allergic diseases (38.04% vs 57.69%, χ²=13.336, P<0.01; 51.43% vs 75.20%, χ²=9.745, P<0.01; 28.57% vs 69.68%, χ²=25.624, P<0.01; 2.86% vs 37.83%, χ²=17.620, P<0.01).The strong positive rate and the multiple strong positive rate of allergen increased with the increase of CU with allergic diseases, and the trend difference was statistically significant (38.04%,56.98% and 76.92%, χ²=10.601, P<0.01; 28.57%,46.94% and 90.00%, χ²=12.085, P<0.01; 2.86%,24.49% and 40.00%, χ²=10.077, P<0.01). The allergen sensitization characteristics of CU with airway allergic diseases are similar to airway allergic diseases, and the detection of airborne allergens may have certain clinical value in the screening of risk factors for patients with CU associated with airway allergic diseases.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the association between trimethylamine-N-oxide (TMAO) and the degree of coronary atherosclerosis in coronary heart diseases (CHD) patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods: Consecutive patients, who underwent coronary angiography due to suspected CHD in Beijing Hospital from November 2016 to January 2018, were screened in this cross-sectional study. According to blood glucose level, previous medical history and coronary angiography results, they were divided into CHD without type2 diabetes mellitus(CHD-nDM) group and CHD with type2 diabetes mellitus(CHD-DM) group. Plasma TMAO levels in each group were measured by LC-MS/MS. Spearman correlation analysis was used to evaluate the correlation between TMAO and the number of diseased vessels and Gensini scores. Multivariate logistic regression was used to analyze the correlation between TMAO and high Gensini scores. Results: A total of 590 patients were enrolled in the study, including 238 patients in CHD-DM group and 352 patients in CHD-nDM group. Patients were older, body mass index, blood pressure level, prevalence of history of hypertension and statins use were higher in CHD-DM group than in CHD-nDM group (all P<0.05). The proportion of patients with multivessel disease (2 or more vessels) was also higher in CHD-DM group than in CHD-nDM group (P<0.001). Gensini score was higher in CHD-DM group than in CHD-nDM group (P<0.05). Fasting blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin and urea were significantly higher, while low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and hemoglobin were significantly lower in CHD-DM group than in CHD-nDM group (all P<0.05). The levels of TMAO was significantly higher in CHD-DM group than in CHD-nDM group (P<0.001). Spearman correlation analysis showed that TMAO was positively correlated with the number of diseased vessels, Gensini score, age and blood glucose level (r=0.178, 0.189, 0.260, 0.111, respectively, all P<0.01). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that, TMAO level was still positively correlated with high Gensini score in CHD-DM group (OR=2.25, 95%CI 1.16-4.38, P=0.017), but not in CHD-nDM group (OR=1.29, 95%CI 0.72-2.31, P=0.386) after adjusting for age, sex, body mass index, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, total cholesterol, triglyceride, history of hypertension, hyperlipidemia, smoking and statin use. Conclusions: In CHD patients with tupe 2 diabetes mellitus, the plasma TMAO level is significantly increased and is independent and positively correlated with the degree of coronary artery disease.

Peta-electron volt gamma-ray emission from the Crab Nebula. Science 2021; 373:425-430. Abstract
The Crab Nebula is a bright source of gamma rays powered by the Crab Pulsar's rotational energy through the formation and termination of a relativistic electron-positron wind. We report the detection of gamma rays from this source with energies from 5 × 10-4 to 1.1 peta-electron volts with a spectrum showing gradual steepening over three energy decades. The ultrahigh-energy photons imply the presence of a peta-electron volt electron accelerator (a pevatron) in the nebula, with an acceleration rate exceeding 15% of the theoretical limit. We constrain the pevatron's size between 0.025 and 0.1 parsecs and the magnetic field to ≈110 microgauss. The production rate of peta-electron volt electrons, 2.5 × 1036 ergs per second, constitutes 0.5% of the pulsar spin-down luminosity, although we cannot exclude a contribution of peta-electron volt protons to the production of the highest-energy gamma rays.

Extended Very-High-Energy Gamma-Ray Emission Surrounding PSR J0622+3749 Observed by LHAASO-KM2A. PHYSICAL REVIEW LETTERS 2021; 126:241103. Abstract
We report the discovery of an extended very-high-energy (VHE) gamma-ray source around the location of the middle-aged (207.8 kyr) pulsar PSR J0622+3749 with the Large High-Altitude Air Shower Observatory (LHAASO). The source is detected with a significance of 8.2σ for E>25 TeV assuming a Gaussian template. The best-fit location is (right ascension, declination) =(95.47°±0.11°,37.92°±0.09°), and the extension is 0.40°±0.07°. The energy spectrum can be described by a power-law spectrum with an index of -2.92±0.17_{stat}±0.02_{sys}. No clear extended multiwavelength counterpart of the LHAASO source has been found from the radio to sub-TeV bands. The LHAASO observations are consistent with the scenario that VHE electrons escaped from the pulsar, diffused in the interstellar medium, and scattered the interstellar radiation field. If interpreted as the pulsar halo scenario, the diffusion coefficient, inferred for electrons with median energies of ∼160 TeV, is consistent with those obtained from the extended halos around Geminga and Monogem and much smaller than that derived from cosmic ray secondaries. The LHAASO discovery of this source thus likely enriches the class of so-called pulsar halos and confirms that high-energy particles generally diffuse very slowly in the disturbed medium around pulsars.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the characteristics of consonant among children with speech sound disorder (SSD) and to provide an empirical basis for the subsequent clinical evaluation and evidence-based intervention. Methods: In this retrospective research a total of 1 395 children diagnosed with SSD from the Language-Speech Clinic of the Department of Children Health Care, Children's Hospital, Capital Institute of Pediatrics from January 2007 to December 2018 were enrolled and underwent the phonological examination on the lexical level with picture naming, according to phoneme development in Chinese mandarin. The Chi-square trend test was applied to analyze the differences and trends of the proportion of consonant error subtypes in children of different age groups. The Chi-square test was conducted to compare the proportion of consonant error subtypes in different gender. Results: The 1 395 children diagnosed with SSD included 1 044 boys and 351 girls, with an age of (5.1±0.8) years. The occurrence of consonant errors in different locations of articulation was the highest for blade-alveolar /l/ (71.8%, 1 002/1 395) and the lowest for labial/b/(9.3%, 130/1 395). The occurrence of consonant errors of labial/p/f/, supra-dental/z/c/s/, blade-alveolar/t/l/, blade-palatal/ch/r/, velar/k/h/, and lingua-palatal/q/decreased with age (all P<0.05). The occurrence of consonant errors of labial/b/m/, supra-dental/z/c/, blade-alveolar/n/l/, blade-palatal/sh/, velar/h/, and lingua-palatal/x/were higher in boys than those in girls (10.3% (108/1 044) vs. 6.3% (22/351), 11.4% (119/1 044) vs. 6.0% (21/351), 64.8% (676/1 044) vs. 51.9% (182/351), 67.8% (708/1 044) vs. 59.8% (210/351), 16.7% (174/1 044) vs. 8.8% (31/351), 73.7% (769/1 044) vs. 66.1% (232/351), 58.0% (606/1 044) vs. 47.6% (167/351), 24.0% (251/1 044) vs. 14.2% (50/351), and 39.9% (417/1 044) vs. 27.6% (97/351); χ²=5.167, 8.533, 16.889, 7.447, 12.863, 7.412, 11.650, 14.900, and 17.099, all P<0.05). The error types of consonant were substitution, omission, and distortion. Omission was the main error type of blade-alveolar/l/(53.3%, 743/1 395), distortion was the main error type of velar/h/(11.8%, 165/1 395), and substitution was the main error type of all other consonants. Substitution with blade-palatal/ch/having the highest occurrence of error (60.2%, 840/1 395). Conclusions: The occurrence of the blade-alveolar/l/error is the highest in children with SSD, with boys demonstrating more serious articulation problems. The main error type of consonant is substitution, with blade-palatal/ch/having the highest occurrence of error. These results suggest the necessity of attending to preschoolers' articulation development. Phonological training targeting blade-alveolar/l/and blade-palatal/ch/should be carried out as early as possible.

Ultrahigh-energy photons up to 1.4 petaelectronvolts from 12 γ-ray Galactic sources. Nature 2021; 594:33-36. Abstract
The extension of the cosmic-ray spectrum beyond 1 petaelectronvolt (PeV; 1015 electronvolts) indicates the existence of the so-called PeVatrons-cosmic-ray factories that accelerate particles to PeV energies. We need to locate and identify such objects to find the origin of Galactic cosmic rays1. The principal signature of both electron and proton PeVatrons is ultrahigh-energy (exceeding 100 TeV) γ radiation. Evidence of the presence of a proton PeVatron has been found in the Galactic Centre, according to the detection of a hard-spectrum radiation extending to 0.04 PeV (ref. 2). Although γ-rays with energies slightly higher than 0.1 PeV have been reported from a few objects in the Galactic plane3-6, unbiased identification and in-depth exploration of PeVatrons requires detection of γ-rays with energies well above 0.1 PeV. Here we report the detection of more than 530 photons at energies above 100 teraelectronvolts and up to 1.4 PeV from 12 ultrahigh-energy γ-ray sources with a statistical significance greater than seven standard deviations. Despite having several potential counterparts in their proximity, including pulsar wind nebulae, supernova remnants and star-forming regions, the PeVatrons responsible for the ultrahigh-energy γ-rays have not yet been firmly localized and identified (except for the Crab Nebula), leaving open the origin of these extreme accelerators.

[Performance of a recombinase - aided amplification assay for detection of Schistosoma japonicum infections in Oncomelania hupensis]. ZHONGGUO XUE XI CHONG BING FANG ZHI ZA ZHI = CHINESE JOURNAL OF SCHISTOSOMIASIS CONTROL 2021; 33:185-188. [PMID: 34008366 DOI: 10.16250/j.32.1374.2020281] [Citation(s) in RCA: 1] [Impact Index Per Article: 0.3] [Reference Citation Analysis] [Abstract] [Key Words] [Subscribe] [Scholar Register] [Indexed: 11/27/2022]
Abstract
OBJECTIVE To evaluate the efficiency of a recombinase-aided amplification (RAA) assay for the detection of Schistosoma japonicum infections in Oncomelania hupensis snails. METHODS A group test was employed. Fifty Oncomelania snails were collected as a detection sample. The detection samples without infected snails were designated as negative specimens, while the detection samples that contained different numbers of infected snails were designated as positive specimens. A total of 10 negative specimens, 10 positive specimens containing 1 infected snail, 20 positive specimens containing 2 infected snails and 10 positive specimens containing 3 infected snails were assigned. Following random grouping, 40 specimens were subject to the florescent RAA assay using a blind method. The miradium shedding method served as a gold standard, and the sensitivity, specificity, Youden's index and coincidence rate of the florescent RAA assay were estimated. In addition, 20 samples consisted of 5 negative specimens and 15 positive specimens with 1, 2 and 3 infected snails respectively were grouped randomly. The same specimens were detected using the crushing method and fluorescent RAA assay with the blind method in a paired-design manner. Then, the test results were compared and analyzed. RESULTS Florescent RAA assay detected 29 positives in the 30 specimens containing different numbers of infected snails, with a sensitivity of 96.67%, and 8 negatives in the 10 detection specimens without infected snails, with a specificity of 80.00%, showing a Youden's index of 0.77. The coincidence rate was 100% among 10 repeated assays for a detection specimen. In addition, there was no significant difference in the detection of infected snails between the florescent RAA assay and the crushing method (χ2 = 0, P > 0.05), and the actual coincidence rates of the florescent RAA assay and crushing method were 95.00% (19/20) and 90.00% (18/20) with the real results, respectively. CONCLUSION Fluorescent RAA assay has a favorable efficiency for the detection of S. japonicum infections in Oncomelania snails, which shows a potential in screening of S. japonicum-infected Oncomelania snails.

Abstract
Litter size is one of the most important reproductive traits of sheep, which has pronounced effects on the profit of husbandry enterprises and enthusiasm of breeders. Despite the importance of litter size, the underlying genetic mechanisms have not been entirely elucidated. Therefore, based on a high-density SNP chip, genome-wide comparative analysis was performed between two groups with different fecundity to reveal candidate genes linked to litter size via detection of homozygosity and selection signatures in Luzhong mutton sheep. Consequently, nine promising genes were identified from six runs of homozygosity islands, and functionally linked to reproduction (ACTL7A, ACTL7B, and ELP1), embryonic development (KLF5 and PIBF1), and cell cycle (DACH1, BORA, DIS3, and MZT1). A total of 128 genes were observed under selection, of which HECW1 and HTR1E were related to total lambs born, GABRG3, LRP1B, and MACROD2 to teat number, and AGBL1 to reproductive seasonality. Additionally, the presence of inbreeding depression implies the urgency of reasonable mating system to increase litter size in the present herd. These findings provide a comprehensive insight to the genetic makeup of litter size, and also contribute to implementation of marker-assisted selection in sheep.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effectiveness of a digital virtual simulation training system applied in the preclinical teaching of access and coronal cavity preparation. Methods: Twenty dental undergraduate students from Peking University School and Hospital of Stomatology were recruited and divided randomly and equally into two groups according to the random number method after being unified with theory training, including access and coronal cavity preparation skills assessment form and Simodont system operation manual. Tests for access and coronal cavity preparation skills by using standard simulation plastic teeth were performed and the scores were recorded as baseline for each student. Students in group of virtual simulation priority were trained using Simodont virtual simulation system, while those in group of phantom-simulator priority were trained using conventional phantom-simulator system. Access and coronal cavity preparation skills of standard simulation plastic teeth were assessed once again and recorded as the second scores for the two groups. Furthermore, the two groups of students exchanged training systems and were assessed and graded once more as the third scores. Finally, all students were asked to fill up a Teaching Questionnaire after the training. The data were then collected and analyzed. Results: For the group of virtual simulation priority, after the training by using Simodont virtual simulation system and conventional phantom-simulator system, the mean score of access and coronal cavity preparation (16.00±1.49) was significantly higher than the baseline score (13.30±1.41) (P<0.05). For the group of phantom-simulator priority, after the training by using conventional phantom-simulator system and Simodont virtual simulation system, the mean score of access and coronal cavity preparation (15.60±1.26) was also significantly higher than the baseline score (13.00±1.89) (P<0.05). Furthermore, in the group of virtual simulation priority, of which the students were trained by using Simodont virtual simulation system first and then conventional phantom-simulator system, the score of access and coronal cavity preparation was significantly higher than the score of training by using conventional phantom-simulator system only (14.30±1.77) (P<0.05). In the group of phantom-simulator priority, of which the students were trained by using conventional phantom-simulator system first and then Simodont virtual simulation system, the score of access and coronal cavity preparation was significantly higher than the score of training by using Simodont virtual simulation system only (14.10±1.45) (P<0.05). Moreover, in the group of virtual simulation priority, the score of training by using conventional phantom-simulator system after using Simodont virtual simulation system was significantly higher than that of training by using Simodont virtual simulation system only (P<0.05). The results of the questionnaire showed that the students fully agreed that "the Simodont virtual simulation system has the characteristics of repeatability, multi-dimension and multiple practice, and provides me with more attention to details" [80% (16/20)], however "it needs to be improved and upgraded to be close to the conventiaonl phantom-simulator system" [90% (18/20)]. Conclusions: Compared with using the conventional phantom-simulator system only, the preclinical teaching effectiveness of access and coronal cavity preparation could be effectively improved by using Simodont virtual simulation system combined with the phantom-simulator training system and might influenced by the training sequence.

[Effect of body mass index on the assisted reproductive outcome of frozen-thawed embryo transfer in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome]. ZHONGHUA FU CHAN KE ZA ZHI 2021; 56:257-263. [PMID: 33902237 DOI: 10.3760/cma.j.cn112141-20201223-00906] [Citation(s) in RCA: 1] [Impact Index Per Article: 0.3] [Reference Citation Analysis] [Abstract] [Subscribe] [Scholar Register] [Indexed: 11/05/2022]
Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effect of body mass index (BMI) on clinical pregnancy and neonatal outcomes in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) during frozen-thawed embryo transfer. Methods: A total of 650 patients with PCOS who received routine in vitro fertilization or intracytoplasmic sperm injection treatment for frozen-thawed embryo transfer from June 2014 to June 2019 in Tianjin Central Hospital of Gynecology Obstetrics were retrospectively analyzed. According to BMI, PCOS patients were divided into group A (18.5≤BMI<23 kg/m2, n=253), group B (23≤BMI<25 kg/m2, n=167), and group C (BMI≥25 kg/m2, n=230). The general information, clinical pregnancy outcomes, pregnancy complications, the incidence of macrosomia and low-birth-weight infants were compared in the three groups, and the influencing factors of neonatal birth weight were analyzed. Results: The embryo implantation rate, clinical pregnancy rate, and ongoing pregnancy rate all showed downward trend with the increase of BMI, but the differences were not statistically significant (all P>0.05). The live birth rate in group C [47.0% (108/230)] was significantly lower than those in groups A and B, with statistical significance (χ²=7.43, P=0.024). The late miscarriage rate was higher in group C [9.4% (13/139)] than in groups A and B (χ²=7.66, P=0.022). The birth rates of macrosomia in groups B [22.2% (16/72)] and group C [21.1% (16/76)] were significantly higher than that in group A, and the difference was statistically significant (χ²=14.15, P=0.001). There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of gestational diabetes between the three groups (χ²=3.81, P=0.149). The incidence of hypertension disorders complicating pregnancy increased with the increase of BMI, and the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). Regression analysis showed that macrosomia was significantly associated with maternal pre-pregnancy BMI and gestational weeks, and the risk of macrosomia increased by 15% (95%CI: 3%-28%) for every increase in maternal BMI. Conclusions: The embryo implantation rate, clinical pregnancy rate, and ongoing pregnancy rate of PCOS patients in frozen-thawed embryo transfer cycles show downward trend with the increase of BMI. Obese patients with PCOS have a significant increase in late miscarriage rate and a significant decrease in live birth rate. The incidence of hypertension disorders complicating pregnancy in PCOS patients in the obese group has an increasing trend, and the birth rate of macrosomia has increased significantly. Therefore, it is recommended that obese women with PCOS lose weight scientifically before pregnancy to improve pregnancy and neonatal outcomes.
