Abstract
Introduction Transdermal alcohol sensors (TAS) have the potential to be used as a clinical tool in alcohol treatment, but there is limited research with individuals with alcohol dependence using TAS. Our study is a qualitative evaluation of the views of people attending alcohol treatment and their experiences of wearing the BACtrack Skyn, within alcohol services in South London. Methods Participants with alcohol dependence wore a BACtrack Skyn TAS for one week and met with the researcher every two days, for a total of four meetings (for example: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Monday). In the final meeting, a post-wear survey (on their physical, social and comfort experience of the TAS) and semi-structured interview were completed. The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) informed the topic guide and data analysis. Results Adults (N = 16) receiving alcohol treatment were recruited. Three core topics guided analysis: perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and attitudes towards use. Participants found the TAS easy to wear and felt positive about its appearance and comfort. The only challenges reported were side effects, mostly skin irritation. The main two perceived uses were 1) TAS working as a drinking deterrent and 2) reducing daily breathalyser visits during detox. Conclusion Findings support the use of TAS amongst alcohol service users. Wearing the TAS for one week was acceptable and feasible for objective alcohol concentration measurement. Participants reported high perceived ease of use and usefulness of the Skyn in the context of alcohol treatment. These results are encouraging for the use of TAS in clinical settings.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Electronic consultation (eConsult) is an eHealth service that allows primary care providers (PCPs) to electronically consult specialists regarding their patients' medical issues. Many studies have demonstrated that eConsult services improve timely access to specialist care; prevent unnecessary referrals; improve PCPs', specialists', and patients' satisfaction; and therefore have a large impact on costs. However, no studies have evaluated PCPs' and specialists' acceptance of eConsult services in Quebec, Canada, and worldwide. OBJECTIVE This exploratory study aims to identify factors affecting eConsult service acceptance by PCPs and specialists in urban and rural primary care clinics across 3 regions in the province of Quebec, Canada, by integrating the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology and Task-Technology Fit (TTF) models and user satisfaction. This research was designed to broaden and assist in scaling up this effective eHealth service innovation across the province. METHODS A cross-sectional web-based survey was sent to all PCPs (n=263) and specialists (n=62) who used the eConsult Quebec Service between July 2017 and May 2021. We proposed a unified model integrating the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology model and TTF model and user satisfaction by endorsing 11 hypotheses. The partial least squares was used to investigate factors influencing the acceptance of the eConsult Quebec Service. RESULTS Of the 325 end users, 136 (41.8%) users responded (PCPs: 101/263, 38.4%; specialists: 35/62, 57%). The results of the analysis with partial least squares method indicate that 9 of our 11 hypotheses are supported. The direct relationships uniting the various constructs of the model highlighted the importance of several key constructs and predominant correlations. The results suggest that satisfaction is the key driver behind the use of the eConsult Quebec Service. Performance expectancy (P<.001) and effort expectancy (P=.03) can have a positive impact on behavioral intention (BI), and BI (P<.001) can impact adoption. TTF has an influence on performance expectancy (P<.001), adoption (P=.02), and satisfaction (P<.001). However, the results show that there is no direct effect between social influence (P=.38) and BI or between facilitating conditions (P=.17) and adoption. CONCLUSIONS This study provides a better understanding of the factors influencing PCPs' and specialists' intention to adopt the eConsult Quebec Service. Furthermore, this study tests a research model and a technology that have never been explored in Quebec until now. On the basis of the results, the service is a good fit to meet the users' need to improve access to specialized medical advice. Therefore, the results of our study have made a valuable contribution to the implementation of the service by policy makers in order to maximize acceptance, use, adoption, and success across the province of Quebec. Moreover, after 4 successful years, the eConsult Quebec pilot project is now the Conseil Numérique digital consultation service.

Abstract
Operations management of a hospital unit is a shared activity involving nursing and medical professionals, characterized by suddenly changing situations, constant interruptions, and ad hoc decision-making. Previous studies have explored the informational needs affecting decision-making, but only limited information has been collected regarding factors affecting information management related to the daily operations of hospital units. The aim of this study was to describe the experiences of nursing and medical professionals of information management in the daily operations of hospital units. This qualitative study consists of interviews following the critical incidence technique. Twenty-six nurses and eight physicians working in operational leadership roles in hospital units were interviewed, and the data were subjected to thematic analysis. The data analysis showed that strengths of current systems were organizational operational procedures, general instruments supporting information management, and a digital operations dashboard, whereas opportunities for improvement included the information architecture, quality of information, and technology use. The study findings highlight that despite several decades of efforts to provide solutions to support information management in hospital daily operations, further measures need to be taken in developing and implementing information systems with user-centered strategies and systematic approaches to better support healthcare professionals.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Asthma attacks are a leading cause of morbidity and mortality but are preventable in most if detected and treated promptly. However, the changes that occur physiologically and behaviourally in the days and weeks preceding an attack are not always recognised, highlighting a potential role for technology. The aim of this study 'DIGIPREDICT' is to identify early digital markers of asthma attacks using sensors embedded in smart devices including watches and inhalers, and leverage health and environmental datasets and artificial intelligence, to develop a risk prediction model to provide an early, personalised warning of asthma attacks. METHODS AND ANALYSIS A prospective sample of 300 people, 12 years or older, with a history of a moderate or severe asthma attack in the last 12 months will be recruited in New Zealand. Each participant will be given a smart watch (to assess physiological measures such as heart and respiratory rate), peak flow meter, smart inhaler (to assess adherence and inhalation) and a cough monitoring application to use regularly over 6 months with fortnightly questionnaires on asthma control and well-being. Data on sociodemographics, asthma control, lung function, dietary intake, medical history and technology acceptance will be collected at baseline and at 6 months. Asthma attacks will be measured by self-report and confirmed with clinical records. The collected data, along with environmental data on weather and air quality, will be analysed using machine learning to develop a risk prediction model for asthma attacks. ETHICS AND DISSEMINATION Ethical approval has been obtained from the New Zealand Health and Disability Ethics Committee (2023 FULL 13541). Enrolment began in August 2023. Results will be presented at local, national and international meetings, including dissemination via community groups, and submission for publication to peer-reviewed journals. Abstract
Background It is imperative to maintain accurate documentation of clinical interventions aimed at enhancing the quality of care for newborns and sick children. The National Newborn Health and IMCI programme of Bangladesh led the development of a standardised register for managing newborns and sick children under five years of age during inpatient care through stakeholder engagement. We aimed to assess the implementation outcomes of the standardised register in the inpatient department. Methods We conducted implementation research in two district hospitals and two sub-district hospitals of Kushtia and Dinajpur districts from November 2022 to January 2023 to assess the implementation outcomes of the standardised register. We assessed the following World Health Organization implementation outcome variables: usability, acceptability, adoption (actual use), fidelity (completeness and accuracy), and utility (quality of care) of the register against preset benchmarks. We collected data through structured interviews with health care providers; participant enrolment; and data extraction from inpatient registers and case record forms. Results The average usability and acceptability scores among health care providers were 73 (standard deviation (SD) = 14) and 82 (SD = 14) out of 100, respectively. The inpatient register recorded 96% (95% confidence interval (CI) = 95-97) of under-five children who were admitted to the inpatient department (adoption - actual use). The proportions of completed data elements in the inpatient register were above the preset benchmark of 70% for all the assessed data elements except 'investigation done' (24%; 95% CI = 23-26) (fidelity - completeness). The percentage agreements between government-appointed nurses posted and study-appointed nurses were above the preset benchmark of 70% for all the reported variables (fidelity - accuracy). The kappa coefficient for the overall level of agreement between these two groups regarding reported variables indicated moderate to substantial agreement. The proportion of newborns with sepsis receiving injectable antibiotics was 62% (95% CI = 47-75) (utility - quality of care). We observed some variability in the completeness and accuracy of the inpatient register by district and facility type. Conclusions The inpatient register was positively received by health care providers, with evaluations of implementation outcome variables showing encouraging results. Our findings could inform evidence-based decision-making on the implementation and scale-up of the inpatient register in Bangladesh, as well as other low- and middle-income countries.

Abstract
Cognisant of persistently high maternal and perinatal mortality rates, WHO called for adoption and evaluation of new adaptable and context-specific solutions to improve labor monitoring and health outcomes. We aimed at customizing/refining the new WHO labour care guide (LCG) to suite health care provider needs (HCP) in monitoring labour in Uganda. We used mixed methods to customize/refine and pilot test the new WHO LCG using stakeholder perspectives. Between 1st July 2023 and 30th December 2023, we conducted; 1)30 stakeholder interviews to identify user needs/challenges that informed initial modifications of the WHO LCG; 2)15 HCP in-depth interviews to identify any further needs to modify the LCG; 3) Two focus group discussions and 4) Two exit expert panels to identify any further user needs to further refine proposed modifications into the final prototype. Questionnaires were administered to assess acceptability. We interviewed 125 stakeholders with median age of 36 years (IQR;26-48) exposed to the LCG for at least 12 months with 11.8(SD = 4.6) years of clinical practice. Simple useful modifications/customizations based on format, HCP's perceived function and role in improving decision making during monitoring labour included; 1) Customizing LCG by adding key socio-demographic data; 2) Adjusting observation ordering; 3) Modification of medication dosages and 4) Provision for recording key clinical notes/labour outcome data on reverse side of the same A4 paper. All HCPs found the modified WHO LCG useful, easy to use, appropriate, comprehensive, appealing and would recommend it to others for labour monitoring. It was implementable and majority took less than 2 minutes to completely record/fill observations on the LCG after each labour assessment. Active involvement of end-users improved inclusiveness, ownership, acceptability and uptake. The modified LCG prototype was found to be simple, appropriate and easy-to-use. Further research to evaluate large-scale use, feasibility and effectiveness is warranted.

Abstract
Levothyroxine is one of the most prescribed drugs in the western world. Dosing is challenging due to high-interindividual differences in effective dosage and the narrow therapeutic window. Model-informed precision dosing (MIPD) using machine learning could assist general practitioners (GPs), but no such models exist for primary care. Furthermore, introduction of decision-support algorithms in healthcare is limited due to the substantial gap between developers and clinicians' perspectives. We report the development, validation, and a clinical simulation trial of the first MIPD application for primary care. Stable maintenance dosage of levothyroxine was the model target. The multiclass model generates predictions for individual patients, for different dosing classes. Random forest was trained and tested on a national primary care database (n = 19,004) with a final weighted AUC across dosing options of 0.71, even in subclinical hypothyroidism. TSH, fT4, weight, and age were most predictive. To assess the safety, feasibility, and clinical impact of MIPD for levothyroxine, we performed clinical simulation studies in GPs and compared MIPD to traditional prescription. Fifty-one GPs selected starting dosages for 20 primary hypothyroidism cases without and then with MIPD 2 weeks later. Overdosage and underdosage were defined as higher and lower than 12.5 μg relative to stable maintenance dosage. MIPD decreased overdosage in number (30.5 to 23.9%, P < 0.01) and magnitude (median 50 to 37.5 μg, P < 0.01) and increased optimal starting dosages (18.3 to 30.2%, P < 0.01). GPs considered lab results more often with MIPD and most would use the model frequently. This study demonstrates the clinical relevance, safety, and effectiveness of MIPD for levothyroxine in primary care.

Abstract
Voice assistant technologies (VAT) has been part of our daily lives, as a virtual assistant to complete requested tasks. The integration of VAT in dental offices has the potential to augment productivity and hygiene practices. Prior to the adoption of such innovations in dental settings, it is crucial to evaluate their applicability. This study aims to assess dentists' perceptions and the factors influencing their intention to use VAT in a clinical setting. A survey and research model were designed based on an extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). The survey was sent to 7,544 Ohio-licensed dentists through email. The data was analyzed and reported using descriptive statistics, model reliability testing, and partial least squares regression (PLSR) to explain dentists' behavioral intention (BI) to use VAT. In total, 257 participants completed the survey. The model accounted for 74.2% of the variance in BI to use VAT. Performance expectancy and perceived enjoyment had significant positive influence on BI to use VAT. Perceived risk had significant negative influence on BI to use VAT. Self-efficacy had significantly influenced perceived enjoyment, accounting for 35.5% of the variance of perceived enjoyment. This investigation reveals that performance efficiency and user enjoyment are key determinants in dentists' decision to adopt VAT. Concerns regarding the privacy of VAT also play a crucial role in its acceptance. This study represents the first documented inquiry into dentists' reception of VAT, laying groundwork for future research and implementation strategies.

Abstract
In healthcare, artificial intelligence (AI) is expected to improve work processes, yet most research focuses on the technical features of AI rather than its real-world clinical implementation. To evaluate the implementation process of an AI-based computer-aided detection system (AI-CAD) for prostate MRI readings, we interviewed German radiologists in a pre-post design. We embedded our findings in the Model of Workflow Integration and the Technology Acceptance Model to analyze workflow effects, facilitators, and barriers. The most prominent barriers were: (i) a time delay in the work process, (ii) additional work steps to be taken, and (iii) an unstable performance of the AI-CAD. Most frequently named facilitators were (i) good self-organization, and (ii) good usability of the software. Our results underline the importance of a holistic approach to AI implementation considering the sociotechnical work system and provide valuable insights into key factors of the successful adoption of AI technologies in work systems.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Many individuals experiencing mental health complications face barriers when attempting to access services. To bridge this care gap, digital mental health innovations (DMHI) have proven to be valuable additions to in-person care by enhancing access to care. An important aspect to consider when evaluating the utility of DMHI is perceived acceptability. However, it is unclear whether diverse sociodemographic groups differ in their degree of perceived acceptability of DMHI. OBJECTIVE This scoping review aims to synthesize evidence on the role of sociodemographic factors (e.g., age, gender) in the perceived acceptability of DMHI among individuals seeking mental health care. METHODS Guided by the JBI Manual of Evidence Synthesis, chapter on Scoping Review, a search strategy developed according to the PCC framework will be implemented in MEDLINE and then adapted to four electronic databases (i.e., CINAHL, MEDLINE, PsycINFO, and EMBASE). The study selection strategy will be piloted by two reviewers on subsets of 30 articles until agreement among reviewers reaches 90%, after which one reviewer will complete the remaining screening of titles and abstracts. The full-text screening, data extraction strategy, and charting tool will be completed by one reviewer and then validated by a second member of the team. Main findings will be presented using tables and figures. EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS This scoping review will examine the extent to which sociodemographic factors have been considered in the digital mental health literature. Also, the proposed review may help determine whether certain populations have been associated with a lower level of acceptability within the context of digital mental health care. This investigation aims to favor equitable access to DMHI among diverse populations.

Abstract
Invasive mechanical ventilation is a key supportive therapy for patients on intensive care. There is increasing emphasis on personalised ventilation strategies. Clinical decision support systems (CDSS) have been developed to support this. We conducted a narrative review to assess evidence that could inform device implementation. A search was conducted in MEDLINE (Ovid) and EMBASE. Twenty-nine studies met the inclusion criteria. Role allocation is well described, with interprofessional collaboration dependent on culture, nurse:patient ratio, the use of protocols, and perception of responsibility. There were no descriptions of process measures, quality metrics, or clinical workflow. Nurse-led weaning is well-described, with factors grouped by patient, nurse, and system. Physician-led weaning is heterogenous, guided by subjective and objective information, and 'gestalt'. No studies explored decision-making with CDSS. Several explored facilitators and barriers to implementation, grouped by clinician (facilitators: confidence using CDSS, retaining decision-making ownership; barriers: undermining clinician's role, ambiguity moving off protocol), intervention (facilitators: user-friendly interface, ease of workflow integration, minimal training requirement; barriers: increased documentation time), and organisation (facilitators: system-level mandate; barriers: poor communication, inconsistent training, lack of technical support). One study described factors that support CDSS implementation. There are gaps in our understanding of ventilation practice. A coordinated approach grounded in implementation science is required to support CDSS implementation. Future research should describe factors that guide clinical decision-making throughout mechanical ventilation, with and without CDSS, map clinical workflow, and devise implementation toolkits. Novel research design analogous to a learning organisation, that considers the commercial aspects of device design, is required.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION The new WHO Labour Care Guide (LCG), also regarded as the 'next-generation partograph', is a core component of 2018 WHO consolidated guidelines on intrapartum care for positive childbirth experience. The Ugandan Ministry of Health is in the process of adopting the new WHO LCG with no local context-specific data to inform this transition. We will explore potential barriers and facilitators to healthcare providers' (HCPs) sustained engagement in labour monitoring in Mbarara city, Southwestern Uganda, and use the data to refine the new WHO LCG and develop a suitable implementation strategy to effectively integrate LCG into routine maternity care in Uganda. We shall then assess effectiveness, validity and other preliminary implementation outcomes of using the new LCG in detecting prolonged labour. METHODS AND ANALYSIS The study will use a mixed-methods approach to identify key LCG user perspectives to refine and customise the WHO LCG among 120 HCPs and stakeholders involved in maternity care and labour monitoring within facilities in Southwestern Uganda. The refined prototype will be deployed and used to monitor labour in all 14 basic and comprehensive emergency obstetric and newborn care facilities in the study area. We will review labour outcomes of 520 patients monitored using the new LCG and compare these outcomes with a historical cohort of 520 patients monitored using the partograph. The main effectiveness outcome will be the proportion of women diagnosed with prolonged labour and/or obstructed labour. ETHICS AND DISSEMINATION Ethical approval was obtained from the Mbarara University of Science and Technology Research Ethics Committee (MUST-2023-808) and Uganda National Council for Science and Technology (HS2864ES). We shall obtain written informed consent from each participant. The results of this study will be published in international peer-reviewed journals and presented to the Ugandan Ministry of Health as policy briefs and at selected national/international conferences. Abstract
PURPOSE The potential of combining teledentistry and engaging parents as underutilised resources to monitor paediatric dental health was emphasised during the COVID-19 pandemic and remains underexplored. This study aims to assess parental acceptance and use of a commercially available intraoral camera (IOC) for effective remote monitoring. METHODS 47 child-parent dyads, where the parent was the main caregiver and the child was treated under general anaesthesia for early childhood caries, were recruited. Caregivers were trained to image their child's teeth on a commercially available IOC. Subsequently, submitted images were reviewed asynchronously by dentists for image quality, presence of dislodged fillings, abscesses, cavitation, and oral hygiene. Post-surgery monitoring was performed using teledentistry at 1 and 2 months and in-person at 4 months. A modified Telehealth Usability Questionnaire (TUQ) was used to record caregiver acceptance for study procedures. RESULTS A mean TUQ of 6.09 out of 7 was scored by caregivers. Caregiver-reported issues were limited to problems with technique and child uncooperativeness. The number of clear images during the second teledentistry review was improved compared to the first (p = 0.007). 68% of children liked having images of their teeth taken. CONCLUSION This study supports the feasibility of using an IOC as a clinically appropriate avenue for teledentistry with a high level of caregiver-child acceptance.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The eCOVID19 Recommendations Map & Gateway to Contextualization (RecMap) website was developed to identify all COVID-19 guidelines, assess the credibility and trustworthiness of the guidelines, and make recommendations understandable to various stakeholder groups. To date, little has been done to understand and explore parents' experiences when accessing and using the RecMap website for COVID-19 health decision-making. OBJECTIVE To explore (1) where parents look for COVID-19 health information and why, (2) parents' user experience when accessing and using the RecMap website to make health decisions, and (3) what knowledge mobilization activities are needed to increase parents' awareness, use, and engagement with the RecMap website. METHODS We conducted a qualitative descriptive study using semistructured interviews and a think-aloud activity with parents of children aged 18 years or younger living in Canada. Participants were asked to provide feedback on the RecMap website and to "think aloud" as they navigated the website to find relevant COVID-19 health recommendations. Demographic information was collected using a web-based questionnaire. A hybrid deductive and inductive thematic approach guided analysis and data synthesis. RESULTS A total of 21 participants (13/21, 62% mothers) were interviewed and participated in a think-aloud activity. The data were categorized into four sections, representative of key elements that deductively and inductively emerged from the data: (1) parent information seeking behaviors and preferences for COVID-19, (2) RecMap website usability, (3) perceived usefulness of the RecMap website, and (4) knowledge mobilization strategies to increase awareness, use, and engagement of the RecMap website. Parents primarily used the internet to find COVID-19 information and focused on sources that they determined to be credible, trustworthy, simple, and engaging. As the pandemic evolved, participants' information-seeking behaviors changed, specifically their topics of interest and search frequency. Most parents were not aware of the RecMap website before this study but found satisfaction with its concept and layout and expressed intentions to use and share it with others. Parents experienced some barriers to using the RecMap website and suggested key areas for improvement to facilitate its usability and perceived usefulness. Recommendations included a more user-friendly home page for lay audiences (separate public-facing user interface), improving the search and filter options, quicker navigation, clearer titles, more family-friendly graphics, and improving mobile-friendly access. Several strategies to disseminate the RecMap website were also expressed, including a mix of traditional and nontraditional methods (handouts and social media) in credible and high-traffic locations that parents frequent often. CONCLUSIONS Overall, parents liked the concept of the RecMap website but had some suggestions to improve its usability (language, navigation, and website interface). These findings can be used to improve the RecMap website for parents and offer insight for the development and dissemination of effective web-based health information tools and resources for the general public.

Abstract
The number and variety of applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopy is growing rapidly. New technologies based on machine learning (ML) and convolutional neural networks (CNNs) are at various stages of development and deployment to assist patients and endoscopists in preparing for endoscopic procedures, in detection, diagnosis and classification of pathology during endoscopy and in confirmation of key performance indicators. Platforms based on ML and CNNs require regulatory approval as medical devices. Interactions between humans and the technologies we use are complex and are influenced by design, behavioural and psychological elements. Due to the substantial differences between AI and prior technologies, important differences may be expected in how we interact with advice from AI technologies. Human–AI interaction (HAII) may be optimised by developing AI algorithms to minimise false positives and designing platform interfaces to maximise usability. Human factors influencing HAII may include automation bias, alarm fatigue, algorithm aversion, learning effect and deskilling. Each of these areas merits further study in the specific setting of AI applications in GI endoscopy and professional societies should engage to ensure that sufficient emphasis is placed on human-centred design in development of new AI technologies.

Generative AI, capable of generating new data such as text and images, holds promise in enhancing patient care, revolutionizing disease diagnosis and expanding treatment options. However, the utility and impact of generative AI in healthcare remain poorly understood, with concerns around ethical and medico-legal implications, integration into healthcare service delivery and workforce utilisation. Also, there is not a clear pathway to implement and integrate generative AI in healthcare delivery. METHODS This article aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the use of generative AI in healthcare, focusing on the utility of the technology in healthcare and its translational application highlighting the need for careful planning, execution and management of expectations in adopting generative AI in clinical medicine. Key considerations include factors such as data privacy, security and the irreplaceable role of clinicians' expertise. Frameworks like the technology acceptance model (TAM) and the Non-Adoption, Abandonment, Scale-up, Spread and Sustainability (NASSS) model are considered to promote responsible integration. These frameworks allow anticipating and proactively addressing barriers to adoption, facilitating stakeholder participation and responsibly transitioning care systems to harness generative AI's potential. RESULTS Generative AI has the potential to transform healthcare through automated systems, enhanced clinical decision-making and democratization of expertise with diagnostic support tools providing timely, personalized suggestions. Generative AI applications across billing, diagnosis, treatment and research can also make healthcare delivery more efficient, equitable and effective. However, integration of generative AI necessitates meticulous change management and risk mitigation strategies. Technological capabilities alone cannot shift complex care ecosystems overnight; rather, structured adoption programs grounded in implementation science are imperative. CONCLUSIONS It is strongly argued in this article that generative AI can usher in tremendous healthcare progress, if introduced responsibly. Strategic adoption based on implementation science, incremental deployment and balanced messaging around opportunities versus limitations helps promote safe, ethical generative AI integration. Extensive real-world piloting and iteration aligned to clinical priorities should drive development. With conscientious governance centred on human wellbeing over technological novelty, generative AI can enhance accessibility, affordability and quality of care. As these models continue advancing rapidly, ongoing reassessment and transparent communication around their strengths and weaknesses remain vital to restoring trust, realizing positive potential and, most importantly, improving patient outcomes.

Abstract
Robots have tremendous potential, and have recently been introduced not only for simple operations in factories, but also in workplaces where customer service communication is required. However, communication robots have not always been accepted. This study proposes a three-stage (first contact, interaction, and decision) model for robot acceptance based on the human cognitive process flow to design preferred robots and clarifies the elements of the robot and the processes that affect robot acceptance decision-making. Unlike previous robot acceptance models, the current model focuses on a sequential account of how people decide to accept, considering the interaction (or carry-over) effect between impressions established at each stage. According to the model, this study conducted a scenario-based experiment focusing on the impression of the first contact (a robot's appearance) and that formed during the interaction with robot (politeness of its conversation and behavior) on robot acceptance in both successful and slightly failed situations. The better the appearance of the robot and the more polite its behavior, the greater the acceptance rate. Importantly, there was no interaction between these two factors. The results indicating that the impressions of the first contact and interaction are additively processed suggest that we should accumulate findings that improving the appearance of the robot and making its communication behavior more human-like in politeness will lead to a more acceptable robot design.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Actively engaging patients with cancer and their families in monitoring and reporting medication safety events during care transitions is indispensable for achieving optimal patient safety outcomes. However, existing patient self-reporting systems often cannot address patients' various experiences and concerns regarding medication safety over time. In addition, these systems are usually not designed for patients' just-in-time reporting. There is a significant knowledge gap in understanding the nature, scope, and causes of medication safety events after patients' transition back home because of a lack of patient engagement in self-monitoring and reporting of safety events. The challenges for patients with cancer in adopting digital technologies and engaging in self-reporting medication safety events during transitions of care have not been fully understood. OBJECTIVE We aim to assess oncology patients' perceptions of medication and communication safety during care transitions and their willingness to use digital technologies for self-reporting medication safety events and to identify factors associated with their technology acceptance. METHODS A cross-sectional survey study was conducted with adult patients with breast, prostate, lung, or colorectal cancer (N=204) who had experienced care transitions from hospitals or clinics to home in the past 1 year. Surveys were conducted via phone, the internet, or email between December 2021 and August 2022. Participants' perceptions of medication and communication safety and perceived usefulness, ease of use, attitude toward use, and intention to use a technology system to report their medication safety events from home were assessed as outcomes. Potential personal, clinical, and psychosocial factors were analyzed for their associations with participants' technology acceptance through bivariate correlation analyses and multiple logistic regressions. RESULTS Participants reported strong perceptions of medication and communication safety, positively correlated with medication self-management ability and patient activation. Although most participants perceived a medication safety self-reporting system as useful (158/204, 77.5%) and easy to use (157/204, 77%), had a positive attitude toward use (162/204, 79.4%), and were willing to use such a system (129/204, 63.2%), their technology acceptance was associated with their activation levels (odds ratio [OR] 1.83, 95% CI 1.12-2.98), their perceptions of communication safety (OR 1.64, 95% CI 1.08-2.47), and whether they could receive feedback after self-reporting (OR 3.27, 95% CI 1.37-7.78). CONCLUSIONS In general, oncology patients were willing to use digital technologies to report their medication events after care transitions back home because of their high concerns regarding medication safety. As informed and activated patients are more likely to have the knowledge and capability to initiate and engage in self-reporting, developing a patient-centered reporting system to empower patients and their families and facilitate safety health communications will help oncology patients in addressing their medication safety concerns, meeting their care needs, and holding promise to improve the quality of cancer care.

Abstract
RATIONALE Delivering optimal patient health care requires interdisciplinary clinician communication. A single communication tool across multiple pre-hospital and hospital settings, and between hospital departments is a novel solution to current systems. Fit-for-purpose, secure smartphone applications allow clinical information to be shared quickly between health providers. Little is known as to what underpins their successful implementation in an emergency care context. AIMS To identify (a) whether implementing a single, digital health communication application across multiple health care organisations and hospital departments is feasible; (b) the barriers and facilitators to implementation; and (c) which factors are associated with clinicians' intentions to use the technology. METHODS We used a multimethod design, evaluating the implementation of a secure, digital communication application (Pulsara™). The technology was trialled in two Australian regional hospitals and 25 Ambulance Victoria branches (AV). Post-training, clinicians involved in treating patients with suspected stroke or cardiac events were administered surveys measuring perceived organisational readiness (Organisational Readiness for Implementing Change), clinicians' intentions (Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology) and internal motivations (Self-Determination Theory) to use Pulsara™, and the perceived benefits and barriers of use. Quantitative data were descriptively summarised with multivariable associations between factors and intentions to use Pulsara™ examined with linear regression. Qualitative data responses were subjected to directed content analysis (two coders). RESULTS Participants were paramedics (n = 82, median 44 years) or hospital-based clinicians (n = 90, median 37 years), with organisations perceived to be similarly ready. Regression results (F(11, 136) = 21.28, p = <0.001, Adj R2 = 0.60) indicated Habit, Effort Expectancy, Perceived Organisational Readiness, Performance Expectancy and Organisation membership (AV) as predictors of intending to use Pulsara™. Themes relating to benefits (95% coder agreement) included improved communication, procedural efficiencies and faster patient care. Barriers (92% coder agreement) included network accessibility and remembering passwords. PulsaraTM was initiated 562 times. CONCLUSION Implementing multiorganisational, digital health communication applications is feasible, and facilitated when organisations are change-ready for an easy-to-use, effective solution. Developing habitual use is key, supported through implementation strategies (e.g., hands-on training). Benefits should be emphasised (e.g., during education sessions), including streamlining communication and patient flow, and barriers addressed (e.g., identify champions and local technical support) at project commencement.

Abstract
Background: Data suggest that regarding completion rates and lower readmission rates, video telemedicine follow-up is as efficient as in-person consultations. However, evidence of patients' intention to adopt such service is lacking. The objective of this study was to determine the essential factors influencing Chinese patients' intention to adopt video telemedicine follow-up. Methods: The researchers extended the technology acceptance model (TAM) by incorporating trust, subjective norms (SNs), perceived risk (PR), and perceived disease threat (PDT). A survey was conducted with 793 Chinese patients, and the collected data were analyzed using the partial least-squares approach. Results: The study revealed that trust emerged as the strongest factor influencing patients' behavioral intention (BI) to use video telemedicine follow-up, followed by SNs, perceived ease of use (PEOU), and perceived usefulness (PU). PR and PDT had no significant influence on patients' intention to adopt video telemedicine follow-up. PEOU mediated the relationship between trust, SNs, and BI, and PU mediated the relationship between trust and BI. The study also found that gender, age, and usage experience moderated certain relationships in the model. Conclusions: Our findings support the use of the extended TAM in understanding individual's motivations for using video telemedicine follow-up in China. In addition, this study contributes to the existing literature on telemedicine promotion by identifying significant mediation mechanisms. These findings have practical implications for planning, creating, and implementing improved video telemedicine follow-up services.

Abstract
In an era of emergent infectious disease, the timely and efficient management of disease outbreaks is critical to public health protection. Integrated technologies for case and incident management (CIM) collect real-time health intelligence for decision making in Public Health. In Ireland, a Public Health reform program is preparing for implementation of a health information system for health protection. Project implementers seek to document and understand the readiness and willingness of future users to adopt the new system, prior to system procurement and implementation. Qualitative key informant interviews were conducted (n = 8) with Public Health personnel from a single regional department of Public Health representing medical, nursing, disease surveillance and administrative roles, at managerial and staff levels. A qualitative thematic analysis was performed. Participants were frustrated by weaknesses in the current practice of CIM and were ready and willing to adopt a digital CIM system if it met their needs. However, they were frustrated by lack of clear timelines. We identified 7 enablers and 3 barriers to readiness and willingness to adopt a CIM system. 'Newness of the workforce' was the main enabler of readiness and willingness, while 'lack of knowledge and familiarity with system' was the main barrier to readiness and willingness. Experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic gave a clear understanding of the problems and need for a digital CIM system and the reform program facilitated a culture of change, readying the workforce for the new health information system. New members of the Public Health departments are a likely ready and eager cohort for adoption of a modern, 'fit for purpose' CIM system and the execution of implementation will likely determine how ready and willing the wider network of departments will be to adopt a national CIMS.

Abstract
Consumer-oriented health care technologies are increasingly available and transforming global health delivery systems. However, there is a paucity of research that systematically investigates health care technology acceptance from the consumer's perspective. This study conducts a literature review and meta-analysis to examine consumers' adoption intentions toward health care technologies. The findings suggest that technology acceptance models are transferable to health care technology with modifications, and factors such as perceived risks, technology performance expectancy, consumer trust, and habit significantly correlate with consumers' adoption intentions. This study provides valuable insights into health care technology management and practical implications for health care service designers, providers, and regulatory authorities.

Abstract
Objectives This study seeks to investigate the willingness of medical professionals to embrace training in sports medicine integrated talents, as well as the factors that influence their decision-making process. By utilizing technology acceptance models, the objective is to gain a comprehensive understanding of this phenomenon and provide valuable recommendations to facilitate the development of proficient integration of sports and medicine (ISM) talents. Methods The questionnaire was developed through a comprehensive review of relevant literature and consultation with experts in the field. A cluster sampling method was employed to select medical professionals from various medical institutions in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (Guangxi) who had participated in ISM talent training. The collected data were analyzed using the AMOS structural equation model, ensuring a rigorous and systematic approach to data analysis. Results A total of 403 questionnaires were collected in this survey, and 8 out of the 9 research hypotheses formulated for the model variables were found to be supported. Perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, subjective norm and training satisfaction were identified as significant factors influencing the behavioral intention of medical professionals to engage in ISM talent training (P < 0.05). The path coefficients for these factors were 0.17, 0.16, 0.31 and 0.24, respectively. Conclusion In order to enhance the effectiveness of training for ISM talents, it is imperative for relevant departments to collaborate and focus on improving the perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and training satisfaction. By doing so, we can effectively harness the subjective initiative of medical professionals, thereby increasing their willingness to participate in training programs. This, in turn, will contribute to the cultivation of "high-quality, high-level" ISM talents that are essential for the betterment of society.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Low back pain (LBP) is a costly global health condition that affects individuals of all ages and genders. Physical therapy (PT) is a commonly used and effective intervention for the management of LBP and incorporates movement assessment and therapeutic exercise. A newly developed wearable, fabric-based sensor system, Motion Tape, uses novel sensing and data modeling to measure lumbar spine movements unobtrusively and thus offers potential benefits when used in conjunction with PT. However, physical therapists' acceptance of Motion Tape remains unexplored. OBJECTIVE The primary aim of this research study was to evaluate physical therapists' acceptance of Motion Tape to be used for the management of LBP. The secondary aim was to explore physical therapists' recommendations for future device development. METHODS Licensed physical therapists from the American Physical Therapy Association Academy of Leadership Technology Special Interest Group participated in this study. Overall, 2 focus groups (FGs; N=8) were conducted, in which participants were presented with Motion Tape samples and examples of app data output on a poster. Informed by the Technology Acceptance Model, we conducted semistructured FGs and explored the wearability, usefulness, and ease of use of and suggestions for improvements in Motion Tape for PT management of LBP. FG data were transcribed and analyzed using rapid qualitative analysis. RESULTS Regarding wearability, participants perceived that Motion Tape would be able to adhere for several days, with some variability owing to external factors. Feedback was positive for the low-profile and universal fit, but discomfort owing to wires and potential friction with clothing was of concern. Other concerns included difficulty with self-application and potential skin sensitivity. Regarding usefulness, participants expressed that Motion Tape would enhance the efficiency and specificity of assessments and treatment. Regarding ease of use, participants stated that the app would be easy, but data management and challenges with interpretation were of concern. Physical therapists provided several recommendations for future design improvements including having a wireless system or removable wires, customizable sizes for the tape, and output including range of motion data and summary graphs and adding app features that consider patient input and context. CONCLUSIONS Several themes related to Motion Tape's wearability, usefulness, and ease of use were identified. Overall, physical therapists expressed acceptance of Motion Tape's potential for assessing and monitoring low back posture and movement, both within and outside clinical settings. Participants expressed that Motion Tape would be a valuable tool for the personalized treatment of LBP but highlighted several future improvements needed for Motion Tape to be used in practice.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Clinical decision support systems (CDSSs) have the potential to improve quality of care, patient safety, and efficiency because of their ability to perform medical tasks in a more data-driven, evidence-based, and semi-autonomous way. However, CDSSs may also affect the professional identity of health professionals. Some professionals might experience these systems as a threat to their professional identity, as CDSSs could partially substitute clinical competencies, autonomy, or control over the care process. Other professionals may experience an empowerment of the role in the medical system. The purpose of this study is to uncover the role of professional identity in CDSS implementation and to identify core human, technological, and organizational factors that may determine the effect of CDSSs on professional identity. METHODS We conducted a systematic literature review and included peer-reviewed empirical studies from two electronic databases (PubMed, Web of Science) that reported on key factors to CDSS implementation and were published between 2010 and 2023. Our explorative, inductive thematic analysis assessed the antecedents of professional identity-related mechanisms from the perspective of different health care professionals (i.e., physicians, residents, nurse practitioners, pharmacists). RESULTS One hundred thirty-one qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-method studies from over 60 journals were included in this review. The thematic analysis found three dimensions of professional identity-related mechanisms that influence CDSS implementation success: perceived threat or enhancement of professional control and autonomy, perceived threat or enhancement of professional skills and expertise, and perceived loss or gain of control over patient relationships. At the technological level, the most common issues were the system's ability to fit into existing clinical workflows and organizational structures, and its ability to meet user needs. At the organizational level, time pressure and tension, as well as internal communication and involvement of end users were most frequently reported. At the human level, individual attitudes and emotional responses, as well as familiarity with the system, most often influenced the CDSS implementation. Our results show that professional identity-related mechanisms are driven by these factors and influence CDSS implementation success. The perception of the change of professional identity is influenced by the user's professional status and expertise and is improved over the course of implementation. CONCLUSION This review highlights the need for health care managers to evaluate perceived professional identity threats to health care professionals across all implementation phases when introducing a CDSS and to consider their varying manifestations among different health care professionals. Moreover, it highlights the importance of innovation and change management approaches, such as involving health professionals in the design and implementation process to mitigate threat perceptions. We provide future areas of research for the evaluation of the professional identity construct within health care.

Abstract
This study is centered on investigating the acceptance and utilization of AI Chatbot technology among graduate students in China and its implications for higher education. Employing a fusion of the UTAUT (Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology) model and the ECM (Expectation-Confirmation Model), the research seeks to pinpoint the pivotal factors influencing students' attitudes, satisfaction, and behavioral intentions regarding AI Chatbots. The study constructs a model comprising seven substantial predictors aimed at precisely foreseeing users' intentions and behavior with AI Chatbots. Collected from 373 students enrolled in various universities across China, the self-reported data is subject to analysis using the partial-least squares method of structural equation modeling to confirm the model's reliability and validity. The findings validate seven out of the eleven proposed hypotheses, underscoring the influential role of ECM constructs, particularly "Confirmation" and "Satisfaction," outweighing the impact of UTAUT constructs on users' behavior. Specifically, users' perceived confirmation significantly influences their satisfaction and subsequent intention to continue using AI Chatbots. Additionally, "Personal innovativeness" emerges as a critical determinant shaping users' behavioral intention. This research emphasizes the need for further exploration of AI tool adoption in educational settings and encourages continued investigation of their potential in teaching and learning environments.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, telemedicine become more and more popular, patients attempt to use telemedicine to meet personal medical needs. Patient satisfaction is a key indicator of insight into the patient experience. PURPOSE This systematic review aims to explore the measurement factors of patient satisfaction with telemedicine and develop a more comprehensive and systematic scale of patient satisfaction with telemedicine. METHODS In February 2023, a literature search was conducted on the PubMed, EMBASE, and Web of Science, identifying measurement factors and tools of patient satisfaction with telemedicine. For inclusion, the studies had to have or make a questionnaire about patient satisfaction with telemedicine delivered through video/audio visits in English. The quality of the studies was evaluated according to the Critical Appraisal Tool for Analytical Cross-Sectional Studies of the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI). The dimensions and items in each tool were also analyzed. RESULTS The initial search showed 14,020 studies. After eliminating duplicates and utilizing inclusion and exclusion criteria, 44 studies were included. This systematic review identified and integrated the measurement factors and develops a scale of patient satisfaction with telemedicine, which was divided into 9 dimensions and consists of 37 items. CONCLUSION Future measurement and evaluation of telemedicine will benefit from scale that was developed in this study, and it will more directly reflecting patient needs when patient satisfaction with telemedicine is evaluated.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Information and communication technology (ICT) has significantly advanced global healthcare, with electronic health (e-Health) applications improving health records and delivery. These innovations, including electronic health records, strengthen healthcare systems. The study investigates healthcare professionals' perceptions of health information applications and their associated factors in the Cape Coast Metropolis of Ghana's health facilities. METHODS We used a descriptive cross-sectional study design to collect data from 632 healthcare professionals (HCPs), in the three purposively selected health facilities in the Cape Coast municipality of Ghana, in July 2022. Shapiro-Wilk test was used to check the normality of dependent variables. Descriptive statistics were used to report means with corresponding standard deviations for continuous variables. Proportions were also reported for categorical variables. Bivariate regression analysis was conducted to determine the factors influencing the Benefits of Information Technology (BoIT); Barriers to Information Technology Use (BITU); and Motives of Information Technology Use (MoITU) in healthcare delivery. Stata SE version 15 was used for the analysis. A p-value of less than 0.05 served as the basis for considering a statistically significant accepting hypothesis. RESULTS Healthcare professionals (HCPs) generally perceived moderate benefits (Mean score (M) = 5.67) from information technology (IT) in healthcare. However, they slightly agreed that barriers like insufficient computers (M = 5.11), frequent system downtime (M = 5.09), low system performance (M = 5.04), and inadequate staff training (M = 4.88) hindered IT utilization. Respondents slightly agreed that training (M = 5.56), technical support (M = 5.46), and changes in work procedures (M = 5.10) motivated their IT use. Bivariate regression analysis revealed significant influences of education, working experience, healthcare profession, and IT training on attitudes towards IT utilization in healthcare delivery (BoIT, BITU, and MoITU). Additionally, the age of healthcare providers, education, and working experience significantly influenced BITU. Ultimately, age, education, working experience, healthcare profession, and IT training significantly influenced MoITU in healthcare delivery. CONCLUSIONS Healthcare professionals acknowledge moderate benefits of IT in healthcare but encounter barriers like inadequate resources and training. Motives for IT use include staff training and support. Bivariate regression analysis shows education, working experience, profession, and IT training significantly influence attitudes towards IT adoption. Targeted interventions and policies can enhance IT utilization in the Cape Coast Metropolis, Ghana.

Abstract
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES The future of cognitive assessment is likely to involve mobile applications for smartphones and tablets; cognitive training is also often delivered in these formats. Unfortunately, low adherence to these programs can hinder efforts at the early detection of cognitive decline and interfere with examining cognitive training efficacy in clinical trials. We explored factors that increase adherence to these programs among older adults. RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODS Focus groups were conducted with older adults (N = 21) and a younger adult comparison group (N = 21). Data were processed using reflexive thematic analysis with an inductive, bottom-up approach. RESULTS Three primary themes related to adherence were developed from the focus group data. Switches of engagement reflects factors that must be present; without them, engagement is unlikely. Dials of engagement reflects a cost-benefit analysis that users undergo, the outcome of which determines whether a person will be more or less likely to engage. Bracers of engagement reflects factors that nudge users toward engagement by minimizing barriers associated with the other themes. Older adults in general were more sensitive to opportunity costs, preferred more cooperative interactions, and were more likely to mention technology barriers. DISCUSSION AND IMPLICATIONS Our results are important for informing the design of mobile cognitive assessment and training apps for older adults. These themes provide guidance about ways apps could be modified to increase engagement and adherence, which in turn can more effectively facilitate the early detection of cognitive impairment and the evaluation of cognitive training efficacy.

Abstract
The digitisation of healthcare has allowed a significant rethinking of the previous clinical protocols, improving their interoperability through substantial standardisation. These technological advances have ensured that data are comparable, as they are obtained from 'reliable' and certified processes; however, there are billions of data that are neither structured nor quality-controlled. They are collectively referred to as 'Real World Data' (RWD). Blockchain (BC) is a procedure with specific characteristics and algorithms that ensure that the stored data cannot be tampered with. Nowadays, there is an increasing need to rethink blockchain in a one-health vision, making it more than just a 'repository' of data and information, but rather an active player in the process of data sharing. In this landscape, several scholars have analysed the potential benefits of BC in healthcare, focusing on the sharing and safety of clinical data and its contact tracing applications. There is limited research on this matter; moreover, there is a strategic interest in managing RWD in a reliable and comparable way, despite the lack of knowledge on this topic. Our work aims to analyse systematically the most impacting literature, highlighting the main aspects of BC within the context of the new digital healthcare, and speculating on the unexpressed potential of RWD.

Abstract
BACKGROUND In Canada, 1 in 3 women and people of gestational age undergo an abortion in their lifetime. Despite the liberal legal context, barriers continue to exist for women and people who can become pregnant to access this service. OBJECTIVE This study aims to (1) conduct a pilot study to demonstrate the feasibility and acceptability of myPostCare to support follow-up care after a procedural abortion; (2) use the findings to understand whether myPostCare has the potential to improve contraceptive behavior and knowledge, emotional well-being, and sexual health knowledge; and (3) develop a better understanding of how innovative mobile solutions can support integrative health programs in British Columbia with the goal of expanding to other sites across Canada. METHODS People of gestational age (aged 14-45 y) who underwent a procedural abortion were recruited from 2 urban abortion facilities in British Columbia. The participants completed a baseline quantitative survey and were provided access to myPostCare for up to 30 days. A follow-up quantitative survey was sent via email on day 30. Qualitative interviews were conducted to explore user satisfaction and usability of myPostCare. Responses to the survey questions were summarized using descriptive statistics, and the system usability scale (SUS) was scored according to the instructions. A secure analytics platform was implemented to obtain data on the overall use of the website by users. Qualitative analysis was conducted with NVivo using a thematic analysis approach. This study was approved by the Women's and Children's Research Ethics Board. RESULTS Overall, 62 participants were recruited (average age 30 y); 40% (25/62) of the participants completed the exit surveys, and 24% (6/25) consented to participate in the semistructured interviews; 40 participants had undergone an immediate postabortion intrauterine device (IUD) insertion, and 22 did not have an IUD inserted. Participants were satisfied with myPostCare. The SUS average score was 81.5 (SD 9.7; median 82.5, IQR 77.5-87.5), indicating high usability of the tool. Overall, 88% (22/25) of the participants changed their contraceptive method to an IUD. Web-based analytics demonstrated that there were 61 unique visitors to the site, and the top pages visited were Postprocedure Care, Emotional Well-Being, and Contraception Explorer. The longest time spent on the website was 56 minutes. The overall email open rate was 80%, with a click rate of 36%. CONCLUSIONS This study demonstrates that communities and individuals are important collaborators in developing a mobile innovation that facilitates access to high-quality patient-centered abortion care. Through the cocreation process, a digital platform such as myPostCare highlighted a gap in abortion care in Canada, particularly around follow-up support after a procedural abortion.

Abstract
BACKGROUND AND AIMS Tobacco use has posed a tremendous public health problem for China. The Chinese government has taken great efforts to curb the tobacco epidemic. However, the existing smoking cessation services available in China are underused and have some limitations. Our research team intends to develop a smartphone smoking cessation application (SSC APP) and integrate it with the existing smoking cessation services. This study aims to assess the efficacy of the SSC APP developed by our research team through a randomized controlled trial (RCT). METHODS Current smokers who are motivated to quit within 1 month (n = 1000) will be recruited both online and offline, and all potential participants will register and complete the prescreening assessment online. Participants will be randomly assigned to either the intervention group (receiving the SSC APP and a self-help smoking cessation manual) or the control group (receiving a self-help smoking cessation manual only) using a block randomization method. This study will be a two-arm, single-blind, parallel-group RCT. Participants will be followed up after enrollment through online questionnaires or by phone call. The primary outcome is self-reported 6-month continuous abstinence. The main secondary outcomes include self-reported 7-day point-prevalence abstinence at each follow-up; self-reported 3-month continuous abstinence; reduction in the number of cigarettes smoked per day; and the number of recent quit attempts. DISCUSSION If this SSC APP proves to be effective, it could be integrated with the existing smoking cessation services and further facilitate smoking cessation at the population level in China. Abstract
OBJECTIVE Telehealth usage for healthcare encounters has increased dramatically due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) precautions. As the pandemic health threat subsides, it is important to understand how telehealth encounters are perceived by users. In this study, we explore how patient-centered communication (PCC), and media and organizational factors, influence patients' intentions to use telehealth in the future. METHODS An online survey was conducted among 326 adult patients who reported visiting a healthcare provider using telehealth within the past 12 months. Structural equation modeling explored how contextual factors influenced patients' adoption of telehealth. RESULTS PCC and ease of use indirectly predicted telehealth adoption through enhanced patient satisfaction and sense of care continuity. Sense of security indirectly predicted telehealth adoption via its association with enhanced rating of care quality. CONCLUSION The functionality of telehealth technology does not solely determine patients' telehealth adoption. Instead, positive healthcare experiences, facilitated by organizational support, quality media designs, as well as patient-centered communication, are associated with telehealth adoption. PRACTICE IMPLICATIONS Healthcare providers should strategically improve telehealth-related communication processes that can lead to better patient health outcomes.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Poor usability is a barrier to widespread adoption of electronic health records (EHR). Providing good usability is especially challenging in the health care context, as there is a wide variety of patient users. Usability benchmarking is an approach for improving usability by evaluating and comparing the strength and weaknesses of systems. The main purpose of this study is to benchmark usability of patient portals across countries. METHODS A mixed-methods survey approach was applied to benchmark the national patient portals offering patient access to EHR in Estonia, Finland, Norway, and Sweden. These Nordic countries have similar public healthcare systems, and they are pioneers in offering patients access to EHR for several years. In a survey of 29,334 patients, both patients' quantitative ratings of usability and their qualitative descriptions of very positive and very negative peak experiences of portal use were collected. RESULTS The usability scores ranged from good to fair level of usability. The narratives of very positive and very negative experiences included the benefits of the patient portals and experienced usability issues. The regression analysis of results showed that very positive and negative experiences of patient portal use explain 19-35% of the variation of usability scores in the four countries. The percentage of patients who reported very positive or very negative experiences in each country was unrelated to the usability scores across countries. CONCLUSIONS The survey approach could be used to evaluate usability with a wide variety of users and it supported learning from comparison across the countries. The combination of quantitative and qualitative data provided an approximation of the level of the perceived usability, and identified usability issues to be improved and useful features that patients appreciate. Further work is needed to improve the comparability of the varied samples across countries.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES The number of surgeries performed in the United States has increased over the past two decades, with a shift to the ambulatory setting. Perioperative complications and mortality pose significant health care burdens. Inadequate preoperative assessment and documentation contribute to communication failure and poor patient outcomes. The aim of this quality improvement project was to design and implement a preoperative evaluation documentation template that not only improved communication during the perioperative pathway but also enhanced the overall user experience. METHODS We implemented a revamped evidence-based documentation template in the electronic medical records of a health care organization across three internal medicine clinics on the downtown campus and seven satellite family medicine clinics. A pre- and postintervention design was used to assess the template utilization rate and clinician satisfaction. RESULTS The preoperative template utilization rate increased from 51.2% at baseline to 66.5% after the revamped template "went live" (p < 0.001). Clinician satisfaction with the preoperative documentation template also significantly increased (30.6 vs. 80.0%, p < 0.001). CONCLUSION Adopting a user-friendly, evidence-based documentation template can enhance the standardization of preoperative evaluation documentation and reduce the documentation burden.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES Artificial intelligence (AI) is expected to alleviate the negative consequences of rising case numbers for radiologists. Currently, systematic evaluations of the impact of AI solutions in real-world radiological practice are missing. Our study addresses this gap by investigating the impact of the clinical implementation of an AI-based computer-aided detection system (CAD) for prostate MRI reading on clinicians' workflow, workflow throughput times, workload, and stress. MATERIALS AND METHODS CAD was newly implemented into radiology workflow and accompanied by a prospective pre-post study design. We assessed prostate MRI case readings using standardized work observations and questionnaires. The observation period was three months each in a single department. Workflow throughput times, PI-RADS score, CAD usage and radiologists' self-reported workload and stress were recorded. Linear mixed models were employed for effect identification. RESULTS In data analyses, 91 observed case readings (pre: 50, post: 41) were included. Variation of routine workflow was observed following CAD implementation. A non-significant increase in overall workflow throughput time was associated with CAD implementation (mean 16.99 ± 6.21 vs 18.77 ± 9.69 min, p = .51), along with an increase in diagnostic reading time for high suspicion cases (mean 15.73 ± 4.99 vs 23.07 ± 8.75 min, p = .02). Changes in radiologists' self-reported workload or stress were not found. CONCLUSION Implementation of an AI-based detection aid was associated with lower standardization and no effects over time on radiologists' workload or stress. Expectations of AI decreasing the workload of radiologists were not confirmed by our real-world study. PRE-REGISTRATION German register for clinical trials https://drks.de/; DRKS00027391.

Abstract
PURPOSE Evidence suggests that patients with upper limb impairment following a stroke do not receive recommended amounts of motor practice. Robotics provide a potential solution to address this gap, but clinical adoption is low. The aim of this study was to utilize the technology acceptance model as a framework to identify factors influencing clinician adoption of robotic devices into practice. MATERIALS AND METHOD Mixed methods including survey data and focus group discussions with allied health clinicians whose primary caseload was rehabilitation of the neurologically impaired upper limb. Surveys based on the technology acceptance measure were completed pre/post exposure to and use of a robotic device. Focus groups discussions based on the theory of planned behaviour were conducted at the conclusion of the study. RESULTS A total of 34 rehabilitation clinicians completed the surveys with pre-implementation data indicating that rehabilitation clinicians perceive robotic devices as complex to use, which influenced intention to use such devices in practice. The focus groups found that lack of experience and time to learn influenced confidence to implement robotic devices into practice. CONCLUSION This study found that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use of a robotic device in clinical rehabilitation can be improved through experience, training and embedded technological support. However, training and embedded support are not routinely offered, suggesting there is a discordance between current implementation and the learning needs of rehabilitation clinicians.IMPLICATIONS FOR REHABILITATIONPatients do not receive adequate amounts of upper limb motor practice following a stroke, and although robotic devices have the potential to address this gap, clinical adoption is low.The technology acceptance model identified that clinicians perceive robotic devices to be complex to use with current implementation efforts failing to consider their training needs.Implementation adoption of robotic devices in rehabilitation should be supported with adequate training and technological support if sustainable practice change is to be achieved.

Abstract
Background Social media has become an integral platform for global information exchange and business interactions, emerging as a crucial tool for promoting products and services in the digital age. Despite its worldwide significance, local businesses, especially in Ethiopia, lag behind in leveraging social media for healthcare marketing. The scarcity of studies on social media adoption among healthcare providers in Ethiopia highlights the imperative for comprehensive research. Objective This study, conducted in Gondar Town, focused on private healthcare professionals, aiming to identify the determinants of their behavioral intention and usage behavior in adopting social media marketing. Method A facility-based cross-sectional survey involving 238 health professionals from private healthcare facilities in Gondar Town was conducted between March and June 2023. The study analyzed data using SPSS Version 26 and AMOS Structural Equation Modeling Version 23. Results All participants reported using social media platforms, with Facebook, Telegram, and YouTube being popular choices. Performance expectancy, social influence, facilitation condition, and behavioral intention significantly influenced healthcare professionals' adoption of social media marketing. Performance expectancy and social influence exhibited the strongest impact on behavioral intention, acting as mediators influencing usage behavior. However, effort expectancy did not significantly influence behavioral intention. Age, gender, experience, and voluntariness showed no significant moderating effects. Conclusion This study contributes valuable insights into social media marketing adoption in the healthcare sector, emphasizing the critical role of various factors in shaping behavioral intention and usage behavior. The findings offer practical implications for private healthcare providers, policymakers, and marketers, guiding strategies to enhance patient communication and engagement through social media in Gondar Town.

Abstract
Background The rapid integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into healthcare has raised concerns among healthcare professionals about the potential displacement of human medical professionals by AI technologies. However, the apprehensions and perspectives of healthcare workers regarding the potential substitution of them with AI are unknown. Objective This qualitative research aimed to investigate healthcare workers' concerns about artificial intelligence replacing medical professionals. Methods A descriptive and exploratory research design was employed, drawing upon the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), Technology Threat Avoidance Theory, and Sociotechnical Systems Theory as theoretical frameworks. Participants were purposively sampled from various healthcare settings, representing a diverse range of roles and backgrounds. Data were collected through individual interviews and focus group discussions, followed by thematic analysis. Results The analysis revealed seven key themes reflecting healthcare workers' concerns, including job security and economic concerns; trust and acceptance of AI; ethical and moral dilemmas; quality of patient care; workforce role redefinition and training; patient-provider relationships; healthcare policy and regulation. Conclusions This research underscores the multifaceted concerns of healthcare workers regarding the increasing role of AI in healthcare. Addressing job security, fostering trust, addressing ethical dilemmas, and redefining workforce roles are crucial factors to consider in the successful integration of AI into healthcare. Healthcare policy and regulation must be developed to guide this transformation while maintaining the quality of patient care and preserving patient-provider relationships. The study findings offer insights for policymakers and healthcare institutions to navigate the evolving landscape of AI in healthcare while addressing the concerns of healthcare professionals.

This study investigates the vaccination intention against COVID-19 in China with the Extended Parallel Process Model (EPPM), Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), and theories of risk information assessment. Results showed that the formation mechanism of vaccination intention could be considered a psychological process, as subjective knowledge was a primary influence on correspondents' weighting of both the potentially positive (usefulness) and negative effects (threat) of vaccination. This unequal consideration then resulted in different levels of fear arousal between subjects. Driven by usefulness/threat perception and fear, people conducted different decision strategies, so-called analytical assessment, and experiential assessment to make vaccination decision. In addition to the direct effects of experiential assessment on vaccination intention, two decision strategies and fear arousal also affected people's vaccination intention through the mediation role of vaccination attitude. For policymakers and stakeholders, this study provides a knowledge base for confidence-building, and emotional guidance concerning against COVID-19 vaccination.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The Apple Watch is not a medical device per se; it is a smart wearable device that is increasingly being used for health monitoring. Evidence exists that the Apple Watch Series 6 can reliably measure blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease under controlled circumstances. OBJECTIVE This study aimed to better understand older adults' acceptance of the Watch as a part of telemonitoring, even with these advancements. METHODS This study conducted content analysis on data collected from 10 older adults with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease who consented to wear the Watch. RESULTS Using the Extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology model, results showed that participants experienced potential health benefits; however, the inability of the Watch to reliably measure SpO2 when in respiratory distress was concerning. Participants' level of tech savviness varied, which caused some fear and frustration at the start, yet all felt supported by family and would have explored more features if they owned the Watch. All agreed that the Watch is mainly a medical tool and not a gadget. CONCLUSIONS To conclude, although the Watch may enhance their physical health and well-being, results indicated that participants are more likely to accept the Watch if it ultimately proves to be useful when experiencing respiratory distress.

Abstract
BACKGROUND School-based health centers (SBHCs) have the capability to overcome youth barriers to care. Virtual care programs (VCP) facilitate connection between school nurse and off-site SBHC providers and can increase the reach of SBHCs. This project aimed to examine Denver Public School nurses' perspectives of a pilot VCP. METHODS Thirteen semi-structured qualitative interviews were conducted and coded using an inductive approach to identify key themes. RESULTS Four major themes emerged: (1) obtaining consent, finding space, and capacity are challenges and nurses have suggestions; (2) nurses enjoy feeling like a valued member of a health care team, and providing additional resources to students; (3) nurses perceive benefits in providing free, efficient, higher level of care; (4) adopting novel technology is a facilitator and challenge; limitations included space and privacy. CONCLUSIONS Key findings can be utilized to further inform practice.

Abstract
PURPOSE Home self-rehabilitation exercises for musculoskeletal conditions are a valuable complement to rehabilitation plans. Telerehabilitation systems using artificial intelligence can provide reliable solutions and empower patients by providing them with guidance and motivating them to engage in rehabilitation plans and activities. This study aims to understand the patient's and physiotherapist's perspective on the requirements of effective face-to-face physiotherapy sessions to inspire the design of a telerehabilitation platform to be used in home settings. METHODS The authors used an ethnography-informed approach through observation and semi-structured interviews with patients (n = 13) and physiotherapists (n = 10) in two outpatient rehabilitation clinics. The AEIOU framework was used to structure and analyse the observation. Thematic analysis was used to code and analyse the data collected from the observations and the interviews. RESULTS Patients' and physiotherapists' perspectives emphasise the need for exercise instruction clarity, evolution monitoring, and feedback. In the absence of the physiotherapist, in home settings, patients feel insecure and fear execution difficulties and limited exercise instructions, while physiotherapists struggle with controlling patients' home exercise performance. Telerehabilitation is seen as an opportunity to move further into home self-rehabilitation programs. CONCLUSIONS Besides home exercise monitoring and guidance, telerehabilitation platforms must allow personalization and effective communication between patients and physiotherapists.

Abstract
This study was motivated by a desire to help working-age individuals gain a better understanding of their daily nutritional intakes with a new self-reported dietary assessment method because an unhealthy eating behavior increases the risks of developing chronic diseases. In this study, we present the design and evaluation of NutriColoring, a food diary that leverages doodling on sketches to report and reflect on everyday diet in the working context. Through a 2-week field study involving 18 participants, the usefulness of NutriColoring in facilitating dietary assessment was tested by making comparisons with the typical bullet diary method. Our quantitative results showed that NutriColoring provided users with improved dietary assessment experience and intrinsic motivations, with significantly low task frustration and high enjoyment. Because of the freedom and playfulness in reporting intakes at work, the interview findings showed a high acceptance of employing NutriColoring at work. This article is concluded with a set of implications for the design and development of a Doodling toolkit to support healthy eating behaviors among office workers.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Telerehabilitation has gained significance as a tool to deliver and supervise therapy and training as effective as traditional rehabilitation methods yet more accessible and affordable. An exergame-based telerehabilitation system has recently been developed within the scope of the international Continuum-of-Care (COCARE) project. The system comprises training devices for use in clinics (Dividat Senso) and at home (Dividat Senso Flex), an assessment system, and a rehabilitation cockpit, and its focus lies on home-based motor-cognitive training, which is remotely managed by health care professionals (HPs). OBJECTIVE This study aims to analyze the usability, acceptance, and enjoyment of the COCARE system from the perspective of primary (older adults [OAs]) and secondary (HPs) end users. METHODS At 3 trial sites (located in Switzerland, Italy, and Cyprus), participants engaged in a single-session trial of the COCARE system, including testing of exergames and assessments. Mixed methods encompassing qualitative approaches (eg, think aloud) and quantitative measures (eg, Exergame Enjoyment Questionnaire [EEQ], System Usability Scale [SUS], and Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology [UTAUT] questionnaire) were used to analyze participants' perceptions of the system and identify potential barriers to its implementation in a home setting. In addition, the associations of performance during gameplay and assessments, demographics, and training motivation (Behavioral Regulation in Exercise Questionnaire-3 [BREQ-3]) with usability, acceptance, and enjoyment were explored. RESULTS A total of 45 OAs and 15 HPs participated in this study. The COCARE system achieved good acceptance ratings (OAs: 83%, range 36%-100% and HPs: 81%, range 63.8%-93.3% of the maximum score), and OAs indicated high enjoyment (mean 73.3, SD 12.7 out of 100 points in the EEQ) during the exergame session. The system's usability, assessed with the SUS, received scores of 68.1 (SD 18.8; OAs) and 70.7 (SD 12.3; HPs) out of 100 points, with substantial differences observed between the trial sites. Several requirements for improvement were identified. Commonly mentioned barriers to adoption included the movement-recognition sensitivity of the Senso Flex, its limited markings, and difficulties in understanding certain instructions for assessments and games. Performance in games and assessments showed the highest significant correlations with the SUS (Spearman ρ=0.35, P=.02 to ρ=0.52, P<.001). The BREQ-3 had significant correlations with all usability measures, thereby even large significant correlations with enjoyment (Spearman ρ=0.58; P<.001). Age had moderately significant correlations with the SUS (Spearman ρ=-0.35; P=.02) and the UTAUT total score (ρ=-0.35; P=.02) but no significant correlation with the EEQ. Concerning sex and years of education, no significant correlations were found. CONCLUSIONS The study's findings will inform the further development of the COCARE system toward a user-friendly and widely accepted version, enhancing cognitive and physical functions in OAs. Future randomized controlled trials should evaluate the system's feasibility and effectiveness.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Mental health problems are the most common morbidities of women during the prenatal period. In LMICs mobile phones have been identified as a good vehicle for monitoring individuals with a high risk of mental health conditions. However, evidence is scarce and the purpose of this study was to assess the intention to use a mobile phone to receive mental health support and its predicting factors among women attending antenatal care at public health facilities in Ambo town, Ethiopia 2022. METHODS AND MATERIALS An institutional-based cross-sectional study design was conducted from May 20th to June 20th, 2022. A total of 715 prenatal women were included and a systematic random sampling technique was employed. An interviewer-administered structured questionnaire was used. Collected data was exported to SPSS version 25 for the descriptive part, and AMOS 26 structural equation modeling was also used to describe and assess the degree and significance of relationships between variables. RESULTS A total of 699 (97.8% response rate) responded to complete all the questionnaires. About 530 (77.3%) 95% CI (74%-80.3%) of women intended to use a mobile phone to receive mental health support. The perceived usefulness has a positive effect on attitude (β = 0.391, p < 0.001) and intention to use (β = 0.253, p < 0.001). The perceived ease of use influences perceived usefulness (β = 0.253, p < 0.001) and attitude β = 0.579, p < 0.001). The intention to use is positively affected by attitude (β = 0.662, p < 0.001).Trust has a positive effect on perceived usefulness (β = 0.580, p < 0.001) and intention to use (β = 0.113, p = 0.005). Subjective norm has a direct positive effect on perceived usefulness (β = 0.248, p < 0.001). Attitude serves as a partial mediator between perceived usefulness and intention to use and a complete mediating role between perceived ease of use and intention to use. CONCLUSION The level of intention to use a mobile phone among prenatal women is relatively high and attitude, perceived usefulness, and trust had direct positive effects on intention to use a mobile phone. Therefore, hospitals and healthcare providers should take proactive measures to implement the strategies and policies for providing mobile phone-based mental health support to prenatal women in remote areas.

Abstract
Background The clinical teaching of esthetic implant-supported restoration of the atrophic maxilla is challenging due to the complexity and unpredictability of bone and soft tissue augmentation. The traditional problem-based learning and case-based learning method (PBL-CBL method) with a full digital workflow (digital PBL-CBL method) provides the students a chance to view clinical cases in a more accurate and measurable way. The aim is to evaluate the effectiveness of the new digital PBL-CBL method in teaching complex implant cases in esthetic area. Materials & Methods A full digital workflow of dental implant therapy was established for patients with severely atrophic anterior maxilla. The digital data of cases done in the new workflow was used as teaching materials in digital PBL-CBL teaching. Fifty-four postgraduate students were randomly selected and divided into three groups, including traditional PBL-CBL group (students taught in a PBL-CBL method with no digital cases), digital PBL-CBL group (students taught in a PBL-CBL method with full digital cases) and control group (students taught in didactic teacher-centered method). After training for three months, a study of the students' opinions on the corresponding teaching method was carried out through a feedback questionnaire. A theory test was used to evaluate students' mastery of knowledge about tissue augmentation and esthetic implant restoration. A case analysis was used to determine whether students could apply the knowledge to problem solving. Results The digital PBL-CBL method resulted in a higher rate of satisfaction than the traditional PBL-CBL method and the didactic teacher-centered method in all items except for "This approach decreases extracurricular work". Case analysis scores of the digital PBL-CBL group were significantly higher than that of the traditional PBL-CBL group and the control group. For the theory test, the digital PBL-CBL group (61.00 ± 6.80) but not traditional PBL-CBL group (55.22 ± 9.86) obtained a significant higher score than the control group (45.11 ± 12.76), although no significant difference was found between the digital PBL-CBL group and the traditional PBL-CBL group. Conclusion Compared with other methods, students taught with the digital PBL-CBL method showed higher satisfaction and better performance in acquisition of academic knowledge and ability in solving practical clinical problems. The digital PBL-CBL method provided a promising alternative for teaching complex implant cases at the anterior maxilla.

Abstract
AIMS Despite the breast being a mobile organ, there is currently no standard suitable immobilisation device to optimise radiotherapy for women with larger breasts treated after a wide local excision. The SuPPORT 4 All (S4A) bra was co-designed with patients and radiotherapy professionals. The purpose of this study was to test the feasibility of using the S4A bra in the existing breast cancer radiotherapy pathway. MATERIALS AND METHODS A randomised feasibility trial was conducted in a single institution; the primary feasibility endpoint was the recruitment of 50 participants. Efficacy endpoints were also tested, including assessment of skin reactions, dose to organs at risk and patient comfort. Fifty women were randomised to receive either standard radiotherapy with no immobilisation (control) or radiotherapy with the S4A bra (intervention). A separate planning study was undertaken on the cases randomised to receive the S4A bra. Participants in the intervention arm (S4A bra) underwent two planning computed tomography scans, one with the bra on and one without the bra; allowing direct comparison of organs at risk data for S4A bra versus no bra. RESULTS All women who started radiotherapy wearing the S4A bra completed treatment with the bra; patient comfort did not change across the 3 weeks of treatment. Positional accuracy using the bra was comparable with existing published accuracy for methods without immobilisation. The mean ipsilateral lung doses showed some improvement when positioning with the S4A bra was compared with the no bra set-up (3.72 Gy versus 4.85 Gy for right-sided cases, 3.23 Gy versus 3.62 Gy for left-sided cases). CONCLUSIONS The S4A bra is feasible to use in the radiotherapy pathway with good patient adherence. The S4A bra has potential to reduce dose to organs at risk (specifically ipsilateral lung dose) while maintaining good breast tissue coverage, and improved patient dignity, warranting further investigation on a larger scale.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) technologies like generative and ambient AI solutions are proliferating in real-world healthcare settings. Clinician trust affects adoption and impact of these systems. Organizations need a validated method to assess factors underlying trust and acceptance of AI for clinical workflows in order to improve adoption and the impact of AI. OBJECTIVE Our study set out to develop and assess a novel clinician-centered model to measure and explain trust and adoption of AI technology. We hypothesized that clinicians' system-specific Trust in AI is the primary predictor of both Acceptance (i.e., willingness to adopt), and post-adoption Trusting Stance (i.e., general stance towards any AI system). We validated the new model at an urban comprehensive cancer center. We produced an easily implemented survey tool for measuring clinician trust and adoption of AI. METHODS This survey-based, cross-sectional, psychometric study included a model development phase and validation phase. Measurement was done with five-point ascending unidirectional Likert scales. The development sample included N = 93 clinicians (physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses) that used an AI-based communication application. The validation sample included N = 73 clinicians that used a commercially available AI-powered speech-to-text application for note-writing in an electronic health record (EHR). Analytical procedures included exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The Johnson-Neyman (JN) methodology was used to determine moderator effects. RESULTS In the fully moderated causal model, clinician trust explained a large amount of variance in their acceptance of a specific AI application (56%) and their post-adoption general trusting stance towards AI in general (36%). Moderators included organizational assurances, length of time using the application, and clinician age. The final validated instrument has 20 items and takes 5 min to complete on average. CONCLUSIONS We found that clinician acceptance of AI is determined by their degree of trust formed via information credibility, perceived application value, and reliability. The novel model, TrAAIT, explains factors underlying AI trustworthiness and acceptance for clinicians. With its easy-to-use instrument and Summative Score Dashboard, TrAAIT can help organizations implementing AI to identify and intercept barriers to clinician adoption in real-world settings.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Telepsychiatry has the potential to facilitate access to mental health services for young people with first-episode of psychosis (FEP); however, limited attention has been given regarding the perceptions of mental health providers in this regard. OBJECTIVE To assess service providers' perceptions on the use of telepsychiatry and changes over time. METHODS Longitudinal survey (conducted at two time points) of 26 service providers, including physicians, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, and peer support workers, recruited from a specialized program for FEP providing telepsychiatry services through REACTS (videoconferencing platform). RESULTS Responses during the initial and the follow-up survey were similar. Most participants used REACTS nine times or more, with more than half reporting that sessions lasted more than 30 min. Over time, there was a trend towards higher frequency of use and lower duration of sessions. The majority perceived REACTS as safe and easy to use and indicated they would recommend REACTS to colleagues. Although participants reported some issues related to set-up and initial use, internet accessibility, and sound and image, most of these concerns decreased during follow-up. Participants appreciated the usability and utility of REACTS, and reported several benefits of telepsychiatry, including facilitating client engagement, assessment and continuity. CONCLUSIONS Service providers expressed positive perceptions regarding the use of telepsychiatry. Despite analysis being limited to a small sample, this study raises awareness of telepsychiatry's value and feasibility for offering services to young populations with FEP and the importance of conducting research on clinician perspectives in this regard.
