Abstract
AIM To evaluate the prevalence of apical periodontitis (AP) and caries in subjects with psoriasis vulgaris. METHODOLOGY In total, 152 patients with psoriasis vulgaris were included in the study. The severity and extent of psoriasis were assessed according to the Psoriasis Area Severity Index (PASI), the Body Surface Area (BSA) and the Physician's Global Assessment Scale (PGA). Periapical status was assessed through dental examination and periapical radiographs. Data regarding the Periapical Index (PAI), caries experience expressed as the Decayed, Missing, Filled Teeth Index (DMFT) and psoriasis medications were recorded. A predictive logistic regression model for the presence of AP and a linear regression model were then built to relate the severity and extent of AP to the type of drug therapy taken for psoriasis and to the severity and extent of the skin disease. RESULTS Subjects with severe/moderate psoriasis showed a significantly higher prevalence of AP (p = .002) and a higher PAI score (p = .0035) than subjects with mild psoriasis. No significant correlation was found between AP and caries experience (p = .76). The logistic regression model showed that moderate/severe psoriasis increased the odds of having AP [odds ratio (OR) = 1.30 ± 1.088, 1.55]. A negative linear relationship between biological drug intake and PAI score value was observed (coefficient = -.54; p = .04). CONCLUSIONS The degree of severity of psoriasis is significantly associated with AP, suggesting that psoriasis may play a role in the pathogenesis of AP. However, no significant correlation was observed for caries experience. Furthermore, the immune-modulating drugs taken by these patients did not seem to have different effects on the prevalence of AP.

Abstract
Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin condition driven by immune system dysfunction, genetic predisposition and environmental factors. Patients with psoriasis experience a well-known clinical phenomenon of 'winter severity and summer relief', in which seasonal environmental factors play critical roles in the onset and progression of psoriasis. These factors include temperature, humidity, infection, light exposure and psychological stress. Seasonal changes in temperature and humidity can compromise skin barrier function and exacerbate inflammatory responses, thereby worsening psoriasis symptoms. Notably, during the winter, decreased light exposure leads to reduced vitamin D (VD) levels, reaching their lowest levels from late winter to early spring. This decline in VD levels is associated with increased disease activity, greater disease severity and more frequent flare-ups in patients with psoriasis. During the winter, influenza and Streptococcus pneumoniae infections are more prevalent, which can further exacerbate psoriasis symptoms. Moreover, the environmental conditions in winter can trigger or intensify feelings of depression, which may adversely affect psoriasis through the brain-skin axis. In this comprehensive review, we thoroughly examined the influence of seasonal environmental factors on the incidence, recurrence and severity of psoriasis. By clarifying these complex relationships, we aimed to support the future development of more personalised and effective treatment and management strategies for patients with psoriasis.

Abstract
Plaque psoriasis (PP) is a chronic immune-mediated skin disorder with a genetic basis, characterized by abnormal T-cell responses. This study investigated the role of FOXP3 gene variants rs2280883 and rs3761548 in T-cell regulation through their effects on IL-10 and TGF-β1 cytokine levels and their association with PP risk. A case-control study was conducted, including 101 individuals with PP and 106 healthy controls from the Mexican population. Genotyping of FOXP3 variants was performed using PCR-RFLP, and cytokine levels were measured with ELISA kits. Significant differences in allele and genotype frequencies of the rs2280883 variant were observed between PP patients and controls, suggesting an association with an increased risk of PP. IL-10 levels were found to be elevated in PP patients, regardless of FOXP3 gene variants, indicating that cytokine dysregulation in PP may involve alternative pathways independent of FOXP3-mediated regulatory T-cell (Treg) function. No significant differences were detected in TGF-β1 levels or rs3761548 genotype frequencies across the study groups. In conclusion, the rs2280883 variant in the FOXP3 gene is significantly associated with a higher risk of developing PP in the Mexican population, while dysregulated IL-10 levels suggest a complex cytokine interaction beyond Treg activity.

Abstract
AIM To assess the impact of non-surgical periodontitis treatment over conventional dermatological treatment on the severity and extent of psoriasis in patients affected by comorbid psoriasis and periodontitis. METHODS Seventy-four patients affected by both psoriasis and Stages I-IV periodontitis were randomized to receive either Steps 1-2 (non-surgical) of periodontal therapy (test group; n = 37) or no treatment (control group; n = 37). The two groups were balanced in terms of psoriasis medications, with the majority of the included patients undergoing biologics (74.0%) as monotherapy, while minor proportions were under systemic medications (13.7%) or none/topical/phototherapy (12.3%). The psoriasis area severity index (PASI) was regarded as the primary outcome. The Body Surface Area (BSA) and the Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI) were additionally considered as dermatological outcomes. Probing pocket depth, recession depth, clinical attachment level, periodontal inflamed surface area, and full-mouth plaque and bleeding scores were also measured. RESULTS Periodontal therapy in the test group led to statistically significant lower PASI scores at 10 weeks (mean = 3.15; standard deviation [SD] = 3.78) compared to the control group (mean = 7.11; SD = 6.09) (mean difference [MD] = -4.0; 95% confidence interval [CI]: -6.3, -1.6; p = .001). The test group also showed improvements in BSA (MD = -4.3) and periodontal parameters compared to the control group. DLQI only showed a non-statistically significant tendency (MD = -2.0). CONCLUSION Steps 1-2 of periodontal therapy showed an additional effect over conventional dermatological treatment in reducing the severity and extent of psoriasis (Clinicaltrials.gov: NCT05311501).

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Psoriasis is an inflammatory skin disease characterized by erythematous, scaly, pruritic plaques on the extensor areas of the extremities. It is one of the most common dermatological diseases in the geriatric population. OBJECTIVE The aim of this investigation was to evaluate the demographic data, clinical characteristics, and treatment responses of the geriatric population (≥65 years) with psoriasis at our hospital. METHODS In this study, we examined 160 geriatric patients diagnosed with psoriasis. We evaluated patients in two groups: early onset (EaO) (<60 years) and elderly onset (EO) (≥60 years). RESULTS In our study, 53.8% of the patients were male, the average age was 68.7 years, and 65% of the patients were considered EaO. Knee and elbow lesions were detected more frequently at the beginning and during the disease in the EaO group; 44.4% of patients had nail psoriasis, while 20.6% had psoriatic arthritis. Nail involvement (P = 0.17) and the presence of psoriatic arthritis (P = 0.035) were more common in the EaO group. Erythrodermic psoriasis was more common in the EaO group, but it was not statistically significant (P = 0.097). It was observed that the disease course of psoriasis was slower in the EaO group compared to the EO group (P = 0.001). Systemic treatment was predominantly initiated as the first treatment agent in the EO group (P = 0.006). Patients in the EaO group received more cyclosporine treatment than the others (P = 0.004). CONCLUSIONS The geriatric population is associated with multiple comorbidities and polypharmacy, highlighting the importance of evaluating patients' medications and comorbidities when selecting a treatment agent for psoriasis.

Abstract
Introduction Fungi, including Candida, may be a trigger or exacerbate psoriasis, especially in difficult to treat (DTT) areas, through the activation of IL-17/23 axis. Methods In this study, seventy patients with DDT psoriasis were enrolled to evaluate Candida species and/or other opportunistic fungi colonization rate at baseline (T0) and the impact of apremilast on fungal load, clinical outcome, serum cytokine levels and biochemical serum profile of patients after 16, 24 and 52 weeks of treatment. Results In our population, 33 (47%) patients were colonized by Candida spp. at baseline. In 24 (34%) individuals Candida was detected in the oral cavity while in the remaining 9 (13%) individuals the fungus was isolated from stool samples. Twenty subjects were colonized by only the species C. albicans, whereas in the remaining 13 a combination of two or more species (C. albicans plus non-albicans strains) was found in the oral cavity. Moreover, 27 (39%) patients were affected by onychomycosis. At 52 weeks, apremilast treatment induced a full recovery from Candida colonization in 83% of patients colonized with a single species of Candida (C. albicans); while in those co-infected by two or more Candida spp. induced a significant reduction (colony counts >10 CFU/mL) in fungal load was observed in comparison to baseline. Among patients with onychomycosis, 78% (21/27) of them presented a complete clinical resolution of nail psoriasis and concomitant nail infections. Finally, improvements in clinical scores i.e., PASI, NAPSI, DLQI, itch VAS, PAIN VAS, scPGA and sPGA-G and biochemical serum profile, as well as a significant decrease in serum IL-17A, TGF-β 1 and IL-10 levels (from 8.51 to 4.16 pg/mL; from 66.10 to 48.70 ng/mL and from 20.05 to 14 pg/mL, respectively) were observed in all patients. Conclusions Fungi may play a role in the psoriasis pathogenesis. Apremilast has been shown to ameliorate psoriasis signs and symptoms and counteract fungal overgrowth, probably by dampening inflammation, triggered by the fungal infections themselves. Thus, apremilast may represent an effective therapeutic approach in the treatment of DTT psoriasis and modulate the fungal colonization.

Abstract
Atopic dermatitis (AD) and psoriasis are chronic skin diseases with a global impact, posing significant challenges to public health systems and severely affecting patients' quality of life. This review delves into the key role of the gut microbiota in these diseases, emphasizing the importance of the gut-skin axis in inflammatory mediators and immune regulation and revealing a complex bidirectional communication system. We comprehensively assessed the pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, and treatment strategies for AD and psoriasis, with a particular focus on how the gut microbiota and their metabolites influence disease progression via the gut-skin axis. In addition, personalized treatment plans based on individual patient microbiome characteristics have been proposed, offering new perspectives for future treatment approaches. We call for enhanced interdisciplinary cooperation to further explore the interactions between gut microbiota and skin diseases and to assess the potential of drugs and natural products in modulating the gut-skin axis, aiming to advance the treatment of skin diseases.

Abstract
Psoriasis is a chronic, immunologically mediated disease of multifactorial origin, with genes playing a key role and environmental factors, such as infections, often triggering its onset or exacerbation. While acute streptococcal infections are commonly linked to guttate psoriasis, viral and fungal infections have also been associated with psoriasis flares. We report a case of severe psoriasis exacerbation during viral parotitis caused by paramyxovirus in a 49-year-old male patient with a long-standing psoriasis diagnosis. Following successful treatment with secukinumab, the patient experienced a flare-up coinciding with symptoms of mumps infection. Serological tests confirmed the presence of mumps virus RNA. Secukinumab was discontinued, and treatment with risankizumab resulted in rapid remission of psoriasis. While paramyxovirus infections are not typically associated with psoriasis flares, emerging evidence suggests that dysregulated antiviral immune responses may induce IL-23 production, possibly contributing to inflammation in psoriasis. This case highlights the need for further research on the role of antiviral immune responses in psoriasis exacerbations and the potential therapeutic implications of targeting the IL-23 pathway.

Abstract
Background/Objectives: Children and adolescents with psoriasis can have severe and long-lasting disease requiring early and effective therapy. The range of associated comorbidities is comparable to adult patients with additional problems deriving from their growth and maturation. Therefore, tailored information and interdisciplinary teamwork is necessary to effectively manage pediatric psoriasis. Methods: We reflected on our experience with therapy management of children and adolescents with psoriasis coming to our university outpatient clinic and summarized the challenges and special features of these patients together with approved medications and recommendations for treatment. We present our algorithm for managing these patients in an interdisciplinary setting. Results: Children can develop psoriasis very early in their life, and they show specific patterns of skin involvement depending on age. Scores such as the cDLQI and the PASI help to quantify the clinical severity and burden of the disease, and the upgraded criteria should reflect that children's needs are different from adults'. The choice of medication is limited to a few, but increasing approvals for children and the close exchange of information and preparations with pediatricians and other specialties before initiating systemic therapies are crucial for children to support compliance. We emphasize the focus on vaccinations and the treatment of chronic infections, e.g., the management of TBI, which is different from adults. Conclusions: With the increased options for the systemic treatment of children with psoriasis, clear and adapted information for the child, guardian and pediatrician is essential to assure a well-managed environment and to prevent the unnecessary termination of effective therapy.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Device-related infective endocarditis (IE) is associated with high mortality, resulting in a growing emphasis on identifying and managing comorbidities that increase the risk of IE in these patients. Psoriasis is increasingly being recognized as having multiple cardiovascular manifestations. However, little is known about the impact of psoriasis on IE risk in patients with permanent pacemakers (PPM). Our study aimed to assess whether psoriasis is associated with an increased risk of developing IE in patients with PPM. METHODS The National Inpatient Sample database was utilized to extract patients with PPM. The presence of psoriasis stratified patients. Demographic and comorbidity data were collected. 1:10,000 propensity matching for IE risk factors was performed to examine independent associations between psoriasis and IE. RESULTS Of 437,793 patients, 45 had psoriasis. Psoriasis patients had higher IE rates (4.4% vs. 0.6%; P < 0.01). On multivariate analysis, psoriasis was associated with a 7.2-fold high IE risk (OR: 7.2 [1.7-30.2]; P < 0.01). Post-match analysis showed an 8.3-fold IE risk in psoriasis patients (OR: 8.3 [2.0-34.4]; P < 0.001). CONCLUSION Psoriasis was independently associated with elevated IE risk in patients with PPM. Further studies are required to corroborate these findings, which will have implications for IE prophylaxis.

Abstract
Psoriasis, a chronic autoimmune skin disorder, causes rapid and excessive skin cell growth due to immune system dysfunction. Numerous studies have shown that flavonoids have anti-psoriatic effects by modulating various molecular mechanisms involved in inflammation, cytokine production, keratinocyte proliferation, and more. This study reviewed experimental data reported in scientific literature and used network analysis to identify the potential biological roles of flavonoids' targets in treating psoriasis. 947 records from Web of Sciences, ScienceDirect database, Scopus, PubMed, and Cochrane library were reviewed without limitations until June 26, 2023. 66 articles were included in the systematic review. The ten genes with the highest scores, including interleukin (IL)-10, IL-12A, IL-1β, IL-6, Tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), Janus kinase 2 (JAK 2), Jun N-terminal kinase (JUN), Proto-oncogene tyrosine-protein kinase Src (SRC), Phosphatidylinositol-4,5-bisphosphate 3-kinase catalytic subunit alpha (PIK3CA), and Signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3), were identified as the hub genes. KEGG pathway analysis identified connections related to inflammation and autoimmune responses, which are key characteristics of psoriasis. IL-6, STAT3, and JUN's presence in both hub and enrichment genes suggests their important role in flavonoid's effect on psoriasis. This comprehensive study highlights how flavonoids can target biological processes in psoriasis, especially when combined for enhanced effectiveness.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Treatment goals have been established in Australia to facilitate the management of adults with moderate to severe psoriasis. The Australasian College of Dermatologists sought to determine if and how these adult treatment goals could be modified to accommodate the needs of paediatric and adolescent patients. METHODS A modified Delphi approach was used. Comprehensive literature review and guideline evaluation resulted in the development of statements and other questions to establish current clinical practices. Two rounds of anonymous voting were undertaken, with a collaborative meeting held in between to discuss areas of discordance. Overall, consensus was defined as achievement of ≥75% agreement in the range 7-9 on a 9-point scale (1 strongly disagree; 9 strongly agree). RESULTS Consensus was achieved on 23/29 statements in round 1 and 17/18 statements in round 2. There was a high level of concordance with treatment criteria in the adult setting. The limitations of applying assessment tools developed for use in adult patients to the paediatric setting were highlighted. Treatment targets in the paediatric setting should include objective metrics for disease severity and psychological impact on the patients and their family, and be based on validated, age-appropriate tools. CONCLUSION While the assessment, classification and management of moderate to severe psoriasis in paediatric patients aligns with metrics established for adults, it is vital that nuances in the transition from childhood to adolescence be taken into account. Future research should focus on psoriasis severity assessment scales specific to the paediatric setting.

Abstract
Herpetic gingivostomatitis and anogenital herpes are widely known manifestations of sexually transmitted herpesvirus infections. What is less recognized is the potential causative role of such infections in triggering immune-mediated skin disorders such as guttate psoriasis. We describe the case of a 23-year-old man with an acute episode of guttate psoriasis related to primary herpetic gingivostomatitis. The diagnosis of guttate psoriasis was pathologically confirmed and the condition fully regressed after proper antiviral therapy. This case adds herpes simplex virus to the growing list of pathogens capable of acting as triggers for guttate psoriasis and highlights the need for better insight of the relationship between psoriasis and viral infections.

Abstract
Streptococcal infections may contribute to psoriasis development, and antistreptococcal treatments are considered potential therapies, but their effectiveness remains uncertain due to limited systematic evidence. Our objective was to analyze antistreptococcal therapies' effectiveness in improving psoriasis. We conducted a systematic review following PRISMA guidelines, evaluating antistreptococcal treatment efficacy in psoriasis patients from PubMed, Scopus, and Embase databases until August 14, 2022. Eligible studies included psoriasis patients undergoing antistreptococcal therapy, regardless of demographics or psoriasis type. 50 studies (1778 patients) were analyzed, with penicillins/aminopenicillins as the most studied antibiotics (21 studies), showing mixed outcomes, some reporting significant improvement in guttate psoriasis, while others showed no significant difference. Rifampin demonstrated positive results in most of ten studies, and macrolides showed varying effectiveness in two studies. Tonsillectomy in 14 studies (409 patients) mainly focusing on guttate and chronic plaque psoriasis showed positive outcomes, indicating improved symptoms and quality of life. Limitations include heterogeneous studies, sampling bias, and quality of evidence. This systematic review reveals limited and varied evidence for systemic antibiotic therapy efficacy in psoriasis treatment, while tonsillectomy emerges as a potentially beneficial antistreptococcal option, urging further well-designed, controlled studies with larger sample sizes and standardized protocols for better comparisons.

Abstract
Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory cutaneous disease with multifactorial pathogenesis involving both genetic and environmental factors as well as the innate and acquired immune response. Several triggering factors may exacerbate or worsen the disease. In this context, we performed a review manuscript with the aim of investigating current literature on psoriasis risk factors, also showing possible mechanisms by which they act on psoriasis. Globally, risk factors can be divided in classic risk factors (eg, mechanical stress, infections and dysbiosis of the skin, common drugs, environment and pollution, lifestyle, psychological stress, hormonal and metabolic alterations) which have long been known to be responsible for worsening and/or reoccurrence of psoriatic manifestations, and emerging risk factors (eg, biological drugs, immunotherapy for oncologic disease, Covid-19, and vaccines) defined as those newly identified risk factors. Accurate patient information and monitoring of risk factors as well as planned follow-ups may help to prevent and treat the worsening of psoriasis and consequently improve the quality of life of psoriatic patients.

Abstract
Introduction Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory disease occurring worldwide. It is currently considered a multi-system disease, which is associated with several comorbidities. Aim To deeply understand the clinical characteristics of psoriasis comorbidities and explore the relationship between psoriasis comorbidities, different subtypes and related influencing factors. Material and methods This retrospective study analysed data from the electronic inpatient medical record system of dermatology and non-dermatology departments at a tertiary hospital in China. We collected relevant demographic data and clinical features of all patients diagnosed with psoriasis from January 2013 to September 2023. Results This study ultimately included a total of 1097 patients with psoriasis. Psoriasis vulgaris was the most common among the subtypes of psoriasis, with 957 (87.2%) cases. The sample consisted of 65.6% of males and 34.4% of females, with an average age of 53.5 ±15.2 years. Common comorbidities of psoriasis included hypertension (38.2%), hyperlipidaemia (29.4%), type 2 diabetes mellitus (24.6%), fatty liver disease (21.4%), coronary heart disease (21.0%), tumours (15.5%), gastroduodenal disease (14.4%), osteoarthropathy (11.8%), and cerebrovascular disease (10.8%). The incidence of hypertension (p = 0.015), hyperuricemia (p < 0.001), osteoarthropathy (p < 0.001), and autoimmune disease (p = 0.003) among different subtypes of psoriasis showed statistically significant differences. In addition, gender, smoking and alcohol consumption all have significant impacts on the distribution of comorbidities. Conclusions The distribution of psoriasis comorbidities and complications varies among different subtypes of psoriasis. Lifestyles such as smoking and alcohol abuse, as well as gender, are also associated with the occurrence of psoriasis comorbidities.

Abstract
Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory disease characterized by squamous and erythematous plaques on the skin and the involvement of the immune system. Global prevalence for psoriasis has been reported around 1-3% with a higher incidence in adults and similar proportions between men and women. The risk factors associated with psoriasis are both extrinsic and intrinsic, out of which a polygenic predisposition is a highlight out of the latter. Psoriasis etiology is not yet fully described, but several hypothesis have been proposed: 1) the autoimmunity hypothesis is based on the over-expression of antimicrobial peptides such as LL-37, the proteins ADAMTSL5, K17, and hsp27, or lipids synthesized by the PLA2G4D enzyme, all of which may serve as autoantigens to promote the differentiation of autoreactive lymphocytes T and unleash a chronic inflammatory response; 2) dysbiosis of skin microbiota hypothesis in psoriasis has gained relevance due to the observations of a loss of diversity and the participation of pathogenic bacteria such as Streptococcus spp. or Staphylococcus spp. the fungi Malassezia spp. or Candida spp. and the virus HPV, HCV, or HIV in psoriatic plaques; 3) the oxidative stress hypothesis, the most recent one, describes that the cell injury and the release of proinflammatory mediators and antimicrobial peptides that leads to activate of the Th1/Th17 axis observed in psoriasis is caused by a higher release of reactive oxygen species and the imbalance between oxidant and antioxidant mechanisms. This review aims to describe the mechanisms involved in the three hypotheses on the etiopathogeneses of psoriasis.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES The study's aim is to assess if vulvar psoriasis and candidiasis may be distinguished by clinical presentation and histopathologic appearance. METHODS The pathology database identified biopsies with corneal or subcorneal neutrophils, acanthosis, and dermal lymphocytic infiltrate. Exclusions were age younger than 18 years and unavailable or uninterpretable slides. Clinical data included demographics, comorbid conditions, symptoms, examination, microbiology, treatment, and response. Histopathologic review documented site, thickness, and characteristics of stratum corneum and epidermis, distribution of neutrophils, and infiltrate. Cases were stratified by microbiologic presence or absence of Candida albicans. RESULTS Biopsies from 62 women with median age of 60 years were associated with C. albicans on vulvovaginal culture in 28 (45%), whereas 26 (42%) were negative, and 8 (13%) lacked microbiologic assessment. Swab-positive women were more likely to have diabetes, receive prereferral estrogen, and report vulvar pain. Specialist clinical impression was candidiasis in 33 (53%), psoriasis in 11 (18%), comorbid candidiasis and psoriasis in 7 (11%), dermatitis in 10 (16%), and unknown in 2 (3%). Visible fungal organisms occurred in 16 (26%) cases and were associated with diabetes and satellite lesions. Other than presence of organisms, there were no histopathologic differences stratified by microbiologic result. CONCLUSIONS The histopathologic triad of corneal/subcorneal neutrophils, acanthosis, and dermal lymphocytic infiltrate is common to vulvar psoriasis and candidiasis, and clinical features do not reliably distinguish between them. Microbiologic assessment and single-agent treatment are useful strategies to clarify the diagnosis.

Abstract
Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disease, the prevalence of which is increasing. Genetic, genomic, and epigenetic changes play a significant role in the pathogenesis of psoriasis. This review summarizes the impact of epigenetics on the development of psoriasis and highlights challenges for the future. The development of epigenetics provides a basis for the search for genetic markers associated with the major histocompatibility complex. Genome-wide association studies have made it possible to link psoriasis to genes and therefore to epigenetics. The acquired knowledge may in the future serve as a solid foundation for developing newer, increasingly effective methods of treating psoriasis. In this narrative review, we discuss the role of epigenetic factors in the pathogenesis of psoriasis.

Abstract
Psoriasis (PSO) is a chronic autoimmune skin condition characterized by the rapid and excessive growth of skin cells, which leads to the formation of thick, red, and scaly patches on the surface of the skin. These patches can be itchy and painful, and they may cause discomfort for patients affected by this condition. Therapies for psoriasis aim to alleviate symptoms, reduce inflammation, and slow down the excessive skin cell growth. Conventional topical treatment options are non-specific, have low efficacy and are associated with adverse effects, which is why researchers are investigating different delivery mechanisms. A novel approach to drug delivery using nanoparticles (NPs) shows promise in reducing toxicity and improving therapeutic efficacy. The unique properties of NPs, such as their small size and large surface area, make them attractive for targeted drug delivery, enhanced drug stability, and controlled release. In the context of PSO, NPs can be designed to deliver active ingredients with anti-inflammatory effect, immunosuppressants, or other therapeutic compounds directly to affected skin areas. These novel formulations offer improved access to the epidermis and facilitate better absorption, thus enhancing the therapeutic efficacy of conventional anti-psoriatic drugs. NPs increase the surface-to-volume ratio, resulting in enhanced penetration through the skin, including intracellular, intercellular, and trans-appendage routes. The present review aims to discuss the latest approaches for the topical therapy of PSO using NPs. It is intended to summarize the results of the in vitro and in vivo examinations carried out in the last few years regarding the effectiveness and safety of nanoparticles.

Abstract
In this study we aimed to investigate the prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 infection in psoriasis patients, and outcomes of SARS-CoV-2 infection and associated risk factors. A cross-sectional survey was conducted from February 2023 to March 2023. Information was obtained with online questionnaire about psoriasis patients on demographic characteristics, clinical characteristics, SARS-CoV-2 infection and outcomes, vaccination, and routine protection against COVID-19. Logistic regression analysis was used to explore risk factors with SARS-CoV-2 infection and exacerbation of psoriasis. A total of 613 participants were recruited. 516 (84.2%) were infected, and associated factors were sex, working status, routine protection against COVID-19, COVID-19 vaccination, impaired nail, infection exacerbate psoriasis, and severity of psoriasis. Among the patients infected with SARS-CoV-2, 30 (5.8%) required hospitalization, 122 (23.6%) had psoriasis exacerbation due to SARS-CoV-2 infection, and associated factors were subtype of psoriasis, discontinuation of psoriasis treatment during SARS-CoV-2 infection, response following COVID-19 vaccination, and severity of psoriasis. Booster dose vaccination contributed a low probability of COVID-19 sequelae. COVID-19 vaccine's effectiveness was unsatisfactory, while booster dose vaccination reduced the occurrence of COVID-19 sequelae in psoriasis patients of Southwest China. Patients treated with psoriasis shown to be safe, without a higher incidence of SARS-CoV-2 infection or COVID-19hospitalization compared to untreated patients. Stopping treatment during SARS-CoV-2 infection led to psoriasis exacerbation, so psoriasis treatment could be continued except severe adverse reaction.

Abstract
Psoriasis has emerged as a systemic disease characterized by skin and joint manifestations as well as systemic inflammation and cardiovascular comorbidities. Many progresses have been made in the comprehension of the immunological mechanisms involved in the exacerbation of psoriatic plaques, and initial studies have investigated the mechanisms that lead to extracutaneous disease manifestations, including endothelial disfunction and cardiovascular disease. In the past decade, the involvement of gut dysbiosis in the development of pathologies with inflammatory and autoimmune basis has clearly emerged. More recently, a major role for the skin microbiota in establishing the immunological tolerance in early life and as a source of antigens leading to cross-reactive responses towards self-antigens in adult life has also been evidenced. Gut microbiota can indeed be involved in shaping the immune and inflammatory response at systemic level and in fueling inflammation in the cutaneous and vascular compartments. Here, we summarized the microbiota-mediated mechanisms that, in the skin and gut, may promote and modulate local or systemic inflammation involved in psoriatic disease and endothelial dysfunction. We also analyze the emerging strategies for correcting dysbiosis or modulating skin and gut microbiota composition to integrate systemically existing pharmacological therapies for psoriatic disease. The possibility of merging systemic treatment and tailored microbial modifying therapies could increase the efficacy of the current treatments and potentially lower the effect on patient's life quality.

Abstract
The high abundance of Corynebacterium simulans in psoriasis skin suggests a contribution to the psoriasis aetiology. This hypothesis was tested in an exploratory study, where western blot (WB) analyses with extracts of heat-treated C. simulans and psoriasis serum-derived IgG exhibited a single 16 kDa-WB-band. Proteomic analyses revealed ribosomal proteins as candidate C. s.-antigens. A peptidomic analysis unexpectedly showed that psoriasis serum-derived IgG already contained 31 immunopeptides of Corynebacteria ssp., suggesting the presence of natural bispecific antibodies (BsAbs). Moreover, peptidomic analyses gave 372 DECOY-peptides with similarity to virus- and phage proteins, including Corynebacterium diphtheriae phage, and similarity to diphtheria toxin. Strikingly, a peptidomic analysis for human peptides revealed 64 epitopes of major psoriasis autoantigens such as the spacer region of filaggrin, hornerin repeats and others. Most identified immunopeptides represent potential cationic intrinsically disordered antimicrobial peptides (CIDAMPs), which are generated within the epidermis. These may form complexes with bacterial disordered protein regions, representing chimeric antigens containing discontinuous epitopes. In addition, among 128 low-abundance immunopeptides, 48 are putatively psoriasis-relevant such as epitope peptides of PGE2-, vitamin D3- and IL-10-receptors. Further, 47 immunopeptides originated from tumour antigens, and the endogenous retrovirus HERV-K. I propose that persistent infection with a toxigenic C. simulans initiates psoriasis, which is exacerbated as an autoimmune disease by CIDAMPs as autoantigens. The discovery of natural BsAbs allows the identification of antigen epitopes from microbes, viruses, autoantigens and tumour-antigens, and may help to develop epitope-specific peptide-vaccines and therapeutic approaches with antigen-specific regulatory T cells to improve immune tolerance in an autoimmune disease-specific-manner.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Observational studies have indicated a potential association between autoimmune diseases and the occurrence of sepsis, with an increased risk of mortality among affected patients. However, whether a causal relationship exists between the two remains unknown. METHODS In the Mendelian randomization (MR) study, we accessed exposure Genome-wide association study (GWAS) data from both the MRC Integrative Epidemiology Unit (MRC-IEU) and the FinnGen consortium. GWAS data for sepsis and its 28-day mortality were obtained from MRC-IEU. We employed univariable, multivariable, and reverse MR analyses to explore potential associations between autoimmune disorders and sepsis and its 28-day mortality. Additionally, a two-step mediation MR analysis was performed to investigate indirect factors possibly influencing the relationship between autoimmune disorders and sepsis. Afterward, we conducted an observational analysis to further explore the relationship between autoimmune disease and occurrence as well as 28-day mortality of sepsis using a real-world database (the MIMIC-IV database). A cohort of 2537 patients diagnosed with autoimmune disease were extracted from the database for analysis. Multivariable logistic regression models were used to confirm the association between autoimmune diseases and the occurrence of sepsis, as well as the 28-day mortality associated with sepsis. RESULTS In univariable MR analysis, there appeared to be causal relationships between genetically predicted type 1 diabetes (OR = 1.036, 95% CI = 1.023-1.048, p = 9.130E-09), rheumatoid arthritis (OR = 1.077, 95% CI = 1.058-1.097, p = 1.00E-15) and sepsis, while a potential causal link was observed between celiac disease and sepsis (OR = 1.013, 95% CI = 1.002-1.024, p = 0.026). In a subsequent multivariable MR analysis, only rheumatoid arthritis was found to be independently associated with the risk of sepsis (OR = 1.138, 95% CI = 1.044-1.240, p = 3.36E-03). Furthermore, there was no causal link between autoimmune disorders and 28-day mortality from sepsis. In reverse MR analysis, sepsis was suggested to potentially trigger the onset of psoriasis (OR = 1.084, 95% CI = 1.040-1.131, p = 1.488E-04). In the real-world observational study, adjusting for multiple confounders, rheumatoid arthritis (OR = 1.34, 95% CI = 1.11-1.64, p = 0.003) and multiple sclerosis (OR = 1.31, 95% CI = 1.03-1.68, p = 0.02) were associated with a higher risk of sepsis. In addition, we did not find that autoimmune diseases were associated with 28-day mortality from sepsis. CONCLUSION Both in observational and MR analysis, only rheumatoid arthritis is highly correlated with occurrence of sepsis. However, autoimmune disease was not associated with an increased 28-day mortality in patient with sepsis. Sepsis may increase the risk of developing psoriasis.

Abstract
Psoriasis is a common, chronic, and inflammatory skin disease with a high burden on individuals, health systems, and society worldwide. With the immunological pathologies and pathogenesis of psoriasis becoming gradually revealed, the therapeutic approaches for this disease have gained revolutionary progress. Nevertheless, the mechanisms of less common forms of psoriasis remain elusive. Furthermore, severe adverse effects and the recurrence of disease upon treatment cessation should be noted and addressed during the treatment, which, however, has been rarely explored with the integration of preliminary findings. Therefore, it is crucial to have a comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms behind psoriasis pathogenesis, which might offer new insights for research and lead to more substantive progress in therapeutic approaches and expand clinical options for psoriasis treatment. In this review, we looked to briefly introduce the epidemiology, clinical subtypes, pathophysiology, and comorbidities of psoriasis and systematically discuss the signaling pathways involving extracellular cytokines and intracellular transmission, as well as the cross-talk between them. In the discussion, we also paid more attention to the potential metabolic and epigenetic mechanisms of psoriasis and the molecular mechanistic cascades related to its comorbidities. This review also outlined current treatment for psoriasis, especially targeted therapies and novel therapeutic strategies, as well as the potential mechanism of disease recurrence.

Abstract
Psoriasis is an immune-mediated disease with a strong genetic component that brings many challenges to sick individuals, such as chronic illness, and which has multiple associated comorbidities like cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, and psychological disorders. Understanding the interplay between the innate and adaptative immune system has led to the discovery of specific cytokine circuits (Tumor Necrosis Factor-alpha (TNF-α), IL-23, IL-17), which has allowed scientists to discover new biomarkers that can be used as predictors of treatment response and pave the way for personalized treatments. In this review, we describe the footprint psoriasis leaves on the skin and beyond, key pathophysiological mechanisms, current available therapeutic options, and drawbacks faced by existing therapies, and we anticipate potential future perspectives that may improve the quality of life of affected individuals.

Abstract
Background Guttate psoriasis is common and affects 0.5-2% of individuals in the paediatric age group. This review aims to familiarize physicians with the clinical manifestations, evaluation, diagnosis and proper management of guttate psoriasis. Methods A search was conducted in July 2023 in PubMed Clinical Queries using the key term "guttate psoriasis". The search strategy included all observational studies, clinical trials and reviews published within the past 10 years. The information retrieved from the search was used in the compilation of the present article. Results Guttate psoriasis typically presents with an abrupt onset of numerous, small, scattered, tear-drop-shaped, scaly, erythematous, pruritic papules and plaques. Sites of predilection include the trunk and proximal extremities. There may be a history of preceding streptococcal infection. Koebner phenomenon is characteristic. Guttate psoriasis may spontaneously remit within 3-4 months with no residual scarring, may intermittently recur and, in 40-50% of cases, may persist and progress to chronic plaque psoriasis. Given the possibility for spontaneous remission within several months, active treatment may not be necessary except for cosmetic purposes or because of pruritus. On the other hand, given the high rates of persistence of guttate psoriasis and progression to chronic plaque psoriasis, some authors suggest active treatment of this condition. Conclusion Various treatment options are available for guttate psoriasis. Triggering and exacerbating factors should be avoided if possible. Topical corticosteroids alone or in combination with other topical agents (e.g. tazarotene and vitamin D analogues) are the most rapid and efficient treatment for guttate psoriasis and are therefore the first-line treatment for mild cases. Other topical therapies include vitamin D analogues, calcineurin inhibitors, anthralin, coal tar and tazarotene. Ultraviolet phototherapy is the first-line therapy for moderate-to-severe guttate psoriasis, as it is more practical than topical therapy when treating widespread or numerous small lesions. Systemic immunosuppressive and immunomodulatory therapies (e.g. methotrexate, cyclosporine, retinoids, fumaric acid esters and biologics) may be considered for patients with moderate-to-severe guttate psoriasis who fail to respond to phototherapy and topical therapies.

Abstract
The term "immune-mediated inflammatory diseases (IMIDs)" refers to several inflammatory pathologies of multifactorial etiology and involving either simultaneously or sequentially more organs. IMIDs share some common pathogenic mechanisms, which account for some similarities in the clinical course and the impact that these diseases may have on other organs and systems of the body. However, there are some differences in the IMID-associated pathological process, including the synthesis and function of multiple inflammatory cytokines, which are supposed to perpetuate the tissue-damaging inflammation. This justifies the different indications and responsiveness to corticosteroids, immunosuppressors, small molecules, and biologics. Many individuals with IMIDs are, however, intolerant, or unresponsive to the current drugs, thus suggesting the necessity of novel therapeutic approaches, such as the combination of compounds that either inhibit more immuno-inflammatory networks selectively or simultaneously suppress inflammatory signals and activate counter-regulatory pathways. In this article, we highlight the most relevant features of IMIDs and discuss how clinicians can combat the detrimental immune response in such disorders.

Abstract
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is known to trigger systemic inflammation and elicit immune responses, which may disrupt the delicate balance of cytokines involved in psoriatic regulation. Compared to other therapies in dermatology, biologics used for immune-mediated dermatological diseases have been more extensively studied during the COVID-19 pandemic. Herein, we report a case of flare-up of previously well-controlled psoriasis shortly after infection with COVID-19, with treatment transition from secukinumab to adalimumab.

Abstract
The melanoma differentiation-associated protein 5 (MDA5; encoded by the IFIH1 gene) mediates the activation of the interferon pathway in response to a viral infection. This protein is also upregulated in autoimmune diseases and psoriasis skin lesions. IFIH1 gene variants that increase MDA5 activity have been associated with an increased risk for immune-mediated diseases, including psoriasis. Our aim is to determine the association between three IFIH1 variants (rs35337543 G/C, intron8 + 1; rs35744605 C/A, Glu627Stop; and rs1990760 C/T, Ala946Thr) and the main clinical findings in a cohort of Spanish patients with psoriasis (N = 572; 77% early-onset). Early-onset psoriasis patients (EOPs) had a significantly higher frequency of severe disease and the Cw6*0602 allele. Carriers of rs1990760 T (946Thr) were more common in the EOPs (p < 0.001), and the effect was more pronounced among Cw6*0602-negatives. This variant was also associated with an increased risk of psoriatic arthritis (PsA) independent from other factors (OR = 1.62, 95%CI = 1.11-2.37). The rs3533754 and rs35744605 polymorphisms did not show significant differences between the two onset age or PsA groups. Compared to the controls, the 946Thr variant was more common in the EOPs (nonsignificant difference) and significantly less common in patients aged >40 years (p = 0.005). In conclusion, the common IFIH1 rs1990760 T allele was significantly more frequent in early-onset compared to late-onset patients. This variant was also an independent risk factor for PsA in our cohort. Our study reinforces the widely reported role of the IFIH1 gene variants on psoriatic disease.

Abstract
PURPOSE An increasing amount of evidence suggests that psoriasis and nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) may occur simultaneously, whereas the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. Our research aims to explore the potential comorbidity mechanism in psoriasis and nonalcoholic steatohepatitis. MATERIALS AND METHODS The expression profiles of psoriasis (GSE30999, GSE13355) and NASH (GSE24807, GSE17470) were downloaded from GEO datasets. Next, common differently expressed genes (DEGs) of psoriasis and NASH were investigated. Then, GO and KEGG enrichment, protein interaction network (PPI) construction, and hub gene identification for DEGs were performed. Finally, immune cells expression, target genes predicted by common miRNAs, and transcription factors interaction analysis for hub genes were carried out. RESULTS Twenty DEGs were identified in totally. GO analysis revealed response to the virus was the most enriched term, and hepatitis C and coronavirus disease-COVID-19 infection-associated pathways were mainly enriched in KEGG. A total of eight hub genes were collected, including IFIT1, IFIT3, OAS1, HPGDS, IFI27, IFI44, CXCL10, IRF9, and 11 TFs were predicted. Then, neutrophils and monocytes were identified as immune cells that express the most hub genes. Moreover, five common miRNAs for psoriasis and NASH and one common miRNAs (hsa-miR-1305)-mRNAs (CHL1, MBNL2) network were presented. CONCLUSION CHL1 and MBNL2 may participate in the process of psoriasis and NASH via regulating hsa-miR-1305, and together with eight hub genes may be potential therapeutic targets for future treatment for the co-occurrence of these two diseases. This comprehensive bioinformatic analysis provides new insights on molecular pathogenesis and identification of potential therapeutic targets for the co-occurrence of them.

Abstract
Psoriasis is a chronic autoimmune skin disease with a significant impact on quality of life and potential for severe comorbidities. Inflammation in the skin is induced by immune cells that overexpress pro-inflammatory cytokines, with the Th17 cell playing a crucial role. NLRP3 inflammasome activation is associated with inflammatory diseases and abnormal T cell differentiation. 3H-1,2-dithiole-3-thione (D3T), isolated from cruciferous vegetables, has anti-inflammatory effects and inhibits Th17 differentiation. This study aimed to investigate how D3T reduces skin inflammation and modulates Th17 cell differentiation by inhibiting NLRP3 inflammasome activation. In an imiquimod-induced psoriasis mouse model, D3T treatment demonstrated significant reductions in ear thickness, skin redness, and scaling compared to a control group. Our study also observed decreased expression of ki-67, NLRP3 inflammasome, and cleaved caspase-1 in skin samples, reduced levels of IL-6 and IL-17A in serum samples, and inhibition of Th17 differentiation after D3T application. D3T could also inhibit the expression of NLRP3, caspase-1, and IL-1β in TNF-α stimulated HaCaT cells. The mechanical study also revealed that D3T could inhibit NLRP3 inflammasome activation by inhibiting the JNK pathway in HaCaT cells. These results indicate that targeting NLRP3 inflammasome activation is a promising strategy in the treatment of psoriasis.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To determine whether COVID-19 infection and psoriasis impact each other. METHODS WeChat app was used to carry out a questionnaire survey in individuals aged 18 years and over. RESULTS A total of 3581 individuals, including 2515 individuals without psoriasis and 1066 psoriatic patients completed the survey. The rate of COVID-19 infection was significantly higher in psoriatic patients than in those without psoriasis (89.59% vs 77.93%, p < 0.0001). Moreover, the rate of relapse and/or worsening of psoriasis was higher in psoriatic patients with COVID-19 infection than in that without COVID-19 infection (75.29% vs 47.75%, p < 0.0001). CONCLUSION COVID-19 infection and psoriasis negatively impact each other.

Abstract
Reticulate pigmentary disorders (RPDs) are a group of inherited and acquired skin conditions characterized by hyperpigmented and/or hypopigmented macules. Inherited RPDs include dyschromatosis symmetrica hereditaria (DSH), dyschromatosis universalis hereditaria (DUH), reticulate acropigmentation of Kitamura (RAK), Dowling-Degos disease (DDD), dyskeratosis congenita (DKC), Naegeli-Franceschetti-Jadassohn syndrome (NFJS), dermatopathia pigmentosa reticularis (DPR), and X-linked reticulate pigmentary disorder. Although reticulate pattern of pigmentation is a common characteristic of this spectrum of disorders, the distribution of pigmentation varies among these disorders, and there may be clinical manifestations beyond pigmentation. DSH, DUH, and RAK are mostly reported in East Asian ethnicities. DDD is more common in Caucasians, although it is also reported in Asian countries. Other RPDs show no racial predilection. This article reviews the clinical, histological, and genetic variations of inherited RPDs.

Abstract
Background and Objectives: Psoriasis is a chronic and inflammatory condition that has a huge impact on the patient's quality of life. Biological treatment improved psoriasis therapy, with impressive results seen in the evolution of the disease and the patient's quality of life. However, the risk of mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) infection reactivation is well-known to biological therapy, which raises problems especially in an endemic country. Materials and Methods: In this study, we followed moderate to severe psoriasis patients who had latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) following treatment with a biological therapy approved in Romania. Results: The patients were evaluated at baseline and then followed-up with Mantoux tests and chest X-rays every year, resulting in 54 patients being diagnosed with LTBI. At the initial evaluation, 30 patients with LTBI were identified, and 24 more were identified during biological therapy. These patients were given prophylactic treatment. Out of the 97 participants in this retrospective study, 25 required association of methotrexate (MTX) alongside biological therapy. We compared the prevalence of positive Mantoux tests in patients with combined therapy with that of patients only on biological treatment, and the results were higher in the combined therapy group. Conclusion: All the patients in the study were vaccinated against tuberculosis (TB) after birth, and none were diagnosed with active tuberculosis (aTB) before or after the start of therapy according to the pulmonologist.

Abstract
Sphingolipids are crucial molecules of the mammalian epidermis. The formation of skin-specific ceramides contributes to the formation of lipid lamellae, which are important for the protection of the epidermis from excessive water loss and protect the skin from the invasion of pathogens and the penetration of xenobiotics. In addition to being structural constituents of the epidermal layer, sphingolipids are also key signaling molecules that participate in the regulation of epidermal cells and the immune cells of the skin. While the importance of ceramides with regard to the proliferation and differentiation of skin cells has been known for a long time, it has emerged in recent years that the sphingolipid sphingosine 1-phosphate (S1P) is also involved in processes such as the proliferation and differentiation of keratinocytes. In addition, the immunomodulatory role of this sphingolipid species is becoming increasingly apparent. This is significant as S1P mediates a variety of its actions via G-protein coupled receptors. It is, therefore, not surprising that dysregulation in the signaling pathways of S1P is involved in the pathophysiological conditions of skin diseases. In the present review, the importance of S1P in skin cells, as well as the immune cells of the skin, is elaborated. In particular, the role of the molecule in inflammatory skin diseases will be discussed. This is important because interfering with S1P signaling pathways may represent an innovative option for the treatment of inflammatory skin diseases.

Abstract
Psoriasis is a persistent T-cell-supported inflammatory cutaneous disorder, which is defined by a significant expansion of basal cells in the epidermis. Cell cycle and STAT genes that control cell cycle progression and viral infection have been revealed to be comorbid with the development of certain cancers and other disorders, due to their abnormal or scanty expression. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the expression of certain cell cycle and STAT1/3 genes in psoriasis patients and to determine the types of comorbidities associated with these genes. To do so, we opted to adopt the in silico methodology, since it is a quick and easy way to discover any potential comorbidity risks that may exist in psoriasis patients. With the genes collected from early research groups, protein networks were created in this work using the NetworkAnalyst program. The crucial hub genes were identified by setting the degree parameter, and they were then used in gene ontology and pathway assessments. The transcription factors that control the hub genes were detected by exploring TRRUST, and DGIdb was probed for remedies that target transcription factors and hubs. Using the degree filter, the first protein subnetwork produced seven hub genes, including STAT3, CCNB1, STAT1, CCND1, CDC20, HSPA4, and MAD2L1. The hub genes were shown to be implicated in cell cycle pathways by the gene ontology and Reactome annotations. The former four hubs were found in signaling pathways, including prolactin, FoxO, JAK/STAT, and p53, according to the KEGG annotation. Furthermore, they enhanced several malignancies, including pancreatic cancer, Kaposi's sarcoma, non-small cell lung cancer, and acute myeloid leukemia. Viral infections, including measles, hepatitis C, Epstein-Barr virus, and HTLV-1 and viral carcinogenesis were among the other susceptible diseases. Diabetes and inflammatory bowel disease were conjointly annotated. In total, 129 medicines were discovered in DGIdb to be effective against the transcription factors BRCA1, RELA, TP53, and MYC, as opposed to 10 medications against the hubs, STAT3 and CCND1, in tandem with 8 common medicines. The study suggests that the annotated medications should be tested in suitable psoriatic cell lines and animal models to optimize the drugs used based on the kind, severity, and related comorbidities of psoriasis. Furthermore, a personalized medicine protocol must be designed for each psoriasis patient that displays different comorbidities.

Abstract
Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disease that features localized or widespread erythema, papules, and scaling. It is common worldwide and may be distributed throughout the whole body. The pathogenesis of psoriasis is quite complex and the result of the interplay of genetic, environmental and immune factors. Ferroptosis is an iron-dependent programmed death that is different from cell senescence, apoptosis, pyroptosis and other forms of cell death. Ferroptosis involves three core metabolites, iron, lipids, and reactive oxygen species (ROS), and it is primarily driven by lipid peroxidation. Ferrostatin-1 (Fer-1) is an effective inhibitor of lipid peroxidation that inhibited the changes related to ferroptosis in erastin-treated keratinocytes and blocked inflammatory responses. Therefore, it has a certain effect on the treatment of psoriatic lesions. Although ferroptosis is closely associated with a variety of human diseases, such as inflammatory diseases, no review has focused on ferroptosis in psoriasis. This mini review primarily focused on the pathogenesis of psoriasis, the mechanisms of ferroptosis, the connection between ferroptosis and psoriasis and ferroptosis inhibitors in psoriasis treatment. We discussed recent research advances and perspectives on the relationship between ferroptosis and psoriasis.
