Abstract
Ovarian cancer is typically diagnosed at an advanced stage, recurs early and often, and currently lacks effective treatment. Therefore, overall survival and progression-free survival are relatively short for this disease. Sensitive and specific biomarkers for early diagnosis and follow-up for effective treatment of the disease are currently lacking. MicroRNA (miRNA/miR) expression studies are widely used in cancer research. Disruption or malfunction of miRNAs, a class of noncoding small RNAs, has been implicated in cancer progression in several publications. Of note, the expression of a series of miRNAs is known to differ in ovarian cancer. In cancer research, it is crucial to analyze expression patterns in both cancer patients and healthy individuals to identify cancer-specific biological markers and to understand their role in cancer. In the present study, the expression levels of miR-3653-3p in the peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) of 150 patients with high-risk ovarian cancer were determined, including those with a family history of cancer or an early-age diagnosis of ovarian cancer, as well as 100 healthy individuals. The results were then compared between the two groups. The expression level of miR-3653-3p in the PBMCs of patients with ovarian cancer was determined to be 9.49-fold higher than that in the healthy control group, and this result was statistically significant (P < 0.001). In addition, receiver-operating characteristic curve analysis of PBMC showed statistical significance of miR-3653-3p in discriminating ovarian cancer patients from healthy subjects (P < 0.001). These results suggest that miR-3653-3p detected in peripheral blood may be used as a non-invasive biomarker for ovarian cancer.

Abstract
PURPOSE The relationship between circulating 25-hydroxyvitamin D [25(OH)D] and pancreatic cancer has been well studied but remains unclear. The purpose of this study was to elucidate the association between circulating 25(OH)D and pancreatic cancer by using a meta-analytic approach. METHODS PubMed, Embase, and Wed of Science databases were searched through October 15, 2022. A random or fixed-effects model was used to estimate the pooled odds ratio (OR), risk ratio (RR), hazard ratio (HR) and their 95% confidence intervals (CIs). RESULTS A total of 16 studies including 529,917 participants met the inclusion criteria, of which 10 reported incidence and 6 reported mortality. For the highest versus lowest categories of circulating 25(OH)D, the pooled OR of pancreatic cancer incidence in case-control studies was 0.98 (95% CI 0.69-1.27), and the pooled HRs of pancreatic cancer mortality in cohort and case-control studies were 0.64 (95% CI 0.45-0.82) and 0.78 (95% CI 0.62-0.95), respectively. The leave-one-out sensitivity analyses found no outliers and Galbraith plots indicated no substantial heterogeneity. CONCLUSION Evidence from this meta-analysis suggested that high circulating 25(OH)D levels may be associated with decreased mortality but not incidence of pancreatic cancer. Our findings may provide some clues for the treatment of pancreatic cancer and remind us to be cautious about widespread vitamin D supplementation for the prevention of pancreatic cancer.

Abstract
There are an estimated 650,00 survivors of adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancers in the United States, a number that is expected to markedly increase in the coming decades. The recognition of the potential for some cancer treatments to affect the health of patients for many years after the initial diagnosis has prompted investigators to examine the evolving burden of late morbidity and mortality in AYAs with cancer after treatment completion. Studies in large international cohorts of AYA cancer survivors have now shown that the burden of late effects in survivors treated during the past four decades is substantial, affecting the health and well-being of the survivor, health systems' preparedness to meet their health care needs in the future, and societal economic costs that are largely affected by loss of productivity. We highlight the unique considerations for AYA cancer survivors, identify gaps in knowledge for future research, and provide an overview of emerging efforts to mitigate late effects in these survivors. Ongoing multidisciplinary bench-to-bedside collaborations are critical to understanding the biology of late effects in AYA cancer survivors and to developing personalized interventions to mitigate them. The growing population of AYA cancer survivors makes it imperative that these efforts extend across the cancer care continuum, which will allow survivors to ultimately live to their fullest potential.

Abstract
In the current study, Neosetophomone B (NSP-B) was investigated for its anti-cancerous potential using network pharmacology, quantum polarized ligand docking, molecular simulation, and binding free energy calculation. Using SwissTarget prediction, and Superpred, the molecular targets for NSP-B were predicted while cancer-associated genes were obtained from DisGeNet. Among the total predicted proteins, only 25 were reported to overlap with the disease-associated genes. A protein-protein interaction network was constructed by using Cytoscape and STRING databases. MCODE was used to detect the densely connected subnetworks which revealed three sub-clusters. Cytohubba predicted four targets, i.e., fibroblast growth factor , FGF20, FGF22, and FGF23 as hub genes. Molecular docking of NSP-B based on a quantum-polarized docking approach with FGF6, FGF20, FGF22, and FGF23 revealed stronger interactions with the key hotspot residues. Moreover, molecular simulation revealed a stable dynamic behavior, good structural packing, and residues' flexibility of each complex. Hydrogen bonding in each complex was also observed to be above the minimum. In addition, the binding free energy was calculated using the MM/GBSA (Molecular Mechanics/Generalized Born Surface Area) and MM/PBSA (Molecular Mechanics/Poisson-Boltzmann Surface Area) approaches. The total binding free energy calculated using the MM/GBSA approach revealed values of -36.85 kcal/mol for the FGF6-NSP-B complex, -43.87 kcal/mol for the FGF20-NSP-B complex, and -37.42 kcal/mol for the FGF22-NSP-B complex, and -41.91 kcal/mol for the FGF23-NSP-B complex. The total binding free energy calculated using the MM/PBSA approach showed values of -30.05 kcal/mol for the FGF6-NSP-B complex, -39.62 kcal/mol for the FGF20-NSP-B complex, -34.89 kcal/mol for the FGF22-NSP-B complex, and -37.18 kcal/mol for the FGF23-NSP-B complex. These findings underscore the promising potential of NSP-B against FGF6, FGF20, FGF22, and FGF23, which are reported to be essential for cancer signaling. These results significantly bolster the potential of NSP-B as a promising candidate for cancer therapy.

Abstract
In recent years, considerable achievements have been made in pediatric oncology with the innovation and development of antitumor drugs. However, compared to adults, children as a special group have not yet matured fully in terms of liver and kidney function. Moreover, pediatric patients are prone to more adverse drug reactions (ADRs) from the accumulation of antineoplastic drugs due to their smaller body size and larger body surface area. Chemotherapy-related ADRs have become a non-negligible factor that affects cancer remission. To date, studies on ADRs in pediatric cancer patients have emerged internationally, but few systematic summaries are available. Here, we reviewed the various systemic ADRs associated with antitumor drugs in children and adolescent patients, as well as the advances in strategies to cope with ADRs, which consisted of neurotoxicity, hematological toxicity, cardiotoxicity, ADRs of the respiratory system and gastrointestinal system and urinary system, ADRs of the skin and its adnexa, allergic reactions, and other ADRs. For clinicians and researchers, understanding the causes, symptoms, and coping strategies for ADRs caused by anticancer treatments will undoubtedly benefit more children.

Abstract
BACKGROUND With increasing survival rates of adolescents and young adults (AYAs) with breast cancer, health-related quality of life (HRQoL) becomes more important. An important aspect of HRQoL is sexual QoL. This study examined long-term sexual QoL of AYA breast cancer survivors, compared sexual QoL scores with that of other AYA cancer survivors, and identified factors associated with long-term sexual QoL of AYA breast cancer survivors. MATERIALS AND METHODS Data of the SURVAYA study were utilized for secondary analyses. Sexual QoL was assessed using the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life cancer survivorship core questionnaire (EORTC QLQ-SURV100). Descriptive statistics were used to describe sexual QoL of AYA cancer survivors. Linear regression models were constructed to examine the effect of cancer type on sexual QoL and to identify factors associated with sexual QoL. RESULTS Of the 4010 AYA cancer survivors, 944 had breast cancer. Mean sexual QoL scores of AYA breast cancer survivors ranged from 34.5 to 60.0 for functional domains and from 25.2 to 41.5 for symptom-orientated domains. AYA breast cancer survivors reported significantly lower sexual QoL compared to AYA survivors of other cancer types on all domains. Age, time since diagnosis, relationship status, educational level, chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, breast surgery, body image, and coping were associated with sexual QoL of AYA breast cancer survivors. CONCLUSIONS AYA breast cancer survivors experience decreased sexual QoL in the long term (5-20 years) after diagnosis and worse score compared to AYA survivors of other cancer types, indicating a clear need to invest in supportive care interventions for those at risk, to enhance sexual well-being.

Abstract
Objective This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the prevalence and influencing factors of fertility concerns in breast cancer in young women. Methods A literature search on PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, and Cochrane Library databases was conducted up to February 2023 and was analyzed (Revman 5.4 software) in this study. The papers were chosen based on inclusion standards, and two researchers independently extracted the data. The included studies' quality was evaluated using criteria set out by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. To identify significant variations among the risk factors, odds ratios (ORs) and the corresponding 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were utilized. Results A total of 7 studies that included 1579 breast cancer in young women were enrolled in the study. The results showed that for breast cancer in young women, the incidence of fertility concerns 53%(95%CI [0.45,0.58]). The results showed that education (2.65, 95% CI 1.65-5.63), full-time work (0.12, 95% CI 1.03-1.93), fertility intentions (7.84, 95% CI 1.50-37.4), depression level (1.25, 95% CI 1.03-1.5), and endocrine therapy (1.32, 95% CI 1.08-1.62) were risk factors for fertility concerns in young women with BC. Having a partner (0.41, 95% CI 0.33-0.5), ≥1 child (0.3, 95% CI 0.22-0.4) were identified as protective factors against fertility concerns in young women with BC. Conclusions The incidence of fertility concerns in breast cancer in young women is at a moderately high level. We should pay more attention to the risk factors of fertility concerns to help breast cancer in young women cope with their fertility concerns and promote their psychological well-being.

Abstract
Young adults aged 40 years and younger with breast cancer represent less than 5% of all breast cancer cases, yet it is the leading cause of death among young women with cancer worldwide. Breast cancer that develops at a young age is more aggressive and has biological features that carry an increased risk of relapse and death. Young adults are more likely to have a genetic predisposition and key biomarkers, including endocrine receptors, the HER2 receptor, and proliferation biomarkers, that appear different compared to older adults. Despite being more aggressive, management strategies are largely the same irrespective of age. Given the higher rates of genetic predisposition, fast access to genetic counselling and testing is a necessity. In this review, the biological differences in young adult breast cancer and the current role precision medicine holds in the treatment of young adults with breast cancer are explored. Given the relatively high risk of relapse, developing novel genomic tools to refine the treatment options beyond the current standard is critical. Existing predictive genomic tests require careful interpretation with consideration of the patient's clinical and pathological features in the young patient cohort. Careful evaluation is also required when considering extended endocrine therapy options. Improved characterization of mutations occurring in tumors using next-generation sequencing could identify important driver mutations that arise in young women. Applying the advances of precision medicine equitably to patients in resource-rich and low- and middle-income countries will be critical to impacting the survival of young adults with breast cancer worldwide.

Abstract
Recent developments of assisted reproduction techniques turned possible to avoid the infertility consequences of oncologic treatments, but fertility preservation (FP) has been somewhat neglected in women with hematologic diseases undergoing gonadotoxic treatments. For these specific cases, the current options for FP include the cryopreservation of embryos, mature oocytes and ovarian tissue, and oocyte in-vitro maturation. We intend to make patients and clinicians aware of this important and relevant issue, and provide hematologists, assisted reproduction physicians and patients, with updated tools to guide decisions for FP. The physicians of the units responsible for female FP should always be available to decide on the best-individualized FP option in strict collaboration with hematologists. With a wide range of options for FP tailored to each case, a greater level of training and information is needed among clinicians, so that patients proposed to gonadotoxic treatments can be previously advised for FP techniques in hematological conditions. ABBREVIATED ABSTRACT: Recent developments of assisted reproduction techniques turned possible to preserve the fertility of women with hematologic diseases undergoing gonadotoxic treatments. Current options for fertility preservation in women with hematologic diseases are presented. It is imperative to offer fertility preservation to all women before starting any gonadotoxic treatment and in some cases after treatment. Abstract
To reduce the direct side effects of chemotherapy, researchers are trying to establish a new approach of a drug-delivery system using nanomaterials. In this study, we investigated graphene and its derivative nanomaterials for their favorable adsorption behavior with the anti-cancer drug hydroxyurea (HU) using DFT calculations. Initially, different pristine and doped graphene and its derivatives were taken into consideration as HU drug carriers. Among them, AlN, GaN, GaN-doped AlN, and AlN-doped GaN nanosheets exhibited favorable adsorption behavior with HU. The HU adsorbed on these four nanosheets with adsorption energies of -0.92, -0.75, -0.83, and -0.69 eV, transferring 0.16, 0.032, 0.108, and 0.230 e charges to the nanosheets, respectively, in air medium. In water solvent media, these four nanosheets interacted with HU by -0.56, -0.45, -0.58, and -0.56 eV by accepting a significant amount of charge of about 0.125, 0.128, 0.192, and 0.126 e from HU. The dipole moment and COSMO analysis also indicated that these nanosheets, except for GaN-doped AlN, show high asymmetricity and solubility in water solvent media due to the increased values of the dipole moment by two or three times after the adsorption of the HU drug. Quantum molecular descriptors also suggest that the sensitivity and reactivity of the nanosheets are enhanced during the interaction with HU. Therefore, these nanosheets can be used as anti-cancer drug carriers.

Abstract
We aimed to investigate the association between genotypes for mir146a and mir196a-2 and the risk of developing colorectal cancer (CRC). We used polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) to determine the mir146a rs2910164 and mir196a-2 rs11614913 genotypes in 362 CRC patients and 362 controls. We also assessed the interactions between these genotypes and age, gender, smoking, alcohol consumption, and BMI status on CRC risk. Additionally, the serum expression level of mir196a-2 was quantified using quantitative reverse transcription-PCR. Our findings demonstrated that among the controls, the proportions of TT, CT, and CC genotypes of mir196a-2 rs11614913 were 32.3%, 48.1%, and 19.6%, respectively. As for the cases, the proportions were 24.6%, 45.0%, and 30.4%, respectively. Logistic regression analysis revealed that the CC genotype carriers had a 2.04-fold increased risk (95% confidence interval [CI] = 1.36-3.06, p = 0.0008). Furthermore, carriers of the CT + CC genotypes also exhibited a significant association with CRC risk (odds ratio [OR] = 1.46, 95% CI = 1.06-2.03, p = 0.0261). Moreover, carriers of the CC genotype had significantly higher serum levels of mir196a-2 compared to those with the TT genotype (p < 0.0001), indicating a genotype-phenotype correlation. No association was found regarding mir146a rs2910164. In conclusion, mir196a-2 rs2910164 genotypes, along with their associated expression, can serve as predictive markers for CRC risk.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Over the past decades, advancements in oncological treatments have led to major improvements in survival. Particularly for adolescents and young adults (AYAs), fertility is an important concern in cancer survivorship. The purpose of the review is to provide physicians with a practical overview of the current knowledge about the impact of systemic oncological treatments on the fertility of female and male AYAs. METHODS A systematic review was performed based on relevant articles obtained from 4 databases up until 31 December 2022. RESULTS The mechanisms of gonadotoxicity and the concurrent risk is described for the following categories: chemotherapy, targeted therapy and immunotherapy. For the category "chemotherapy", the specific effects and risks are listed for the different classes and individual chemotherapeutics. In the category "targeted therapy", a distinction was made between tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) and monoclonal antibodies. Information concerning immunotherapy is scarce. CONCLUSIONS The effects of chemotherapy on fertility are well investigated, but even in this category, results can be conflicting. Insufficient data are available on the fertility effects of targeted therapy and immunotherapy to draw definitive conclusions. More research is needed for these therapies and their evolving role in treating cancers in AYAs. It would be useful to include fertility endpoints in clinical trials that evaluate new and existing oncological treatments.

Abstract
Fertility counseling should be offered to all individuals of young reproductive age early in the patient's trajectory following a cancer diagnosis. Systemic cancer treatment and radiotherapy often have an inherent gonadotoxic effect with the potential to induce permanent infertility and premature ovarian failure. For the best chances to preserve a patient's fertility potential and to improve future quality of life, fertility preservation methods should be applied before cancer treatment initiation, thus multidisciplinary team-work and timely referral to reproductive medicine centers specialized in fertility preservation is recommended. We aim to review the current clinical possibilities for fertility preservation and summarize how infertility, as a late effect of gonadotoxic treatment, affects the growing population of young female cancer survivors.

Abstract
PURPOSE To review the complex concerns of oncofertility created through increased cancer survivorship and the long-term effects of cancer treatment in young adults. DESIGN Review chemotherapy-induced ovarian dysfunction, outline how fertility may be addressed before treatment initiation, and discuss barriers to oncofertility treatment and guidelines for oncologists to provide this care to their patients. CONCLUSION In women of childbearing potential, ovarian dysfunction resulting from cancer therapy has profound short- and long-term implications. Ovarian dysfunction can manifest as menstrual abnormalities, hot flashes, night sweats, impaired fertility, and in the long term, increased cardiovascular risk, bone mineral density loss, and cognitive deficits. The risk of ovarian dysfunction varies between drug classes, number of received lines of therapy, chemotherapy dosage, patient age, and baseline fertility status. Currently, there is no standard clinical practice to evaluate patients for their risk of developing ovarian dysfunction with systemic therapy or means to address hormonal fluctuations during treatment. This review provides a clinical guide to obtain a baseline fertility assessment and facilitate fertility preservation discussions.

Abstract
Cancer is a dangerous disease and one of the leading causes of death in the world. In 2020, there were nearly 10 million cancer deaths and approximately 20 million new cases. New cases and deaths from cancer are expected to increase further in the coming years. To have a deeper insight into the mechanism of carcinogenesis, epigenetics studies have been published and received much attention from scientists, doctors, and patients. Among alterations in epigenetics, DNA methylation and histone modification are studied by many scientists. They have been reported to be a major contributor in tumor formation and are involved in metastasis. From the understanding of DNA methylation and histone modification, effective, accurate and cost-effective methods for diagnosis and screening of cancer patients have been introduced. Furthermore, therapeutic approaches and drugs targeting altered epigenetics have also been clinically studied and have shown positive results in combating tumor progression. Several cancer drugs that rely on DNA methylation inactivation or histone modification have been approved by the FDA for the treatment of cancer patients. In summary, epigenetics changes such as DNA methylation or histone modification are take part in tumor growth, and they also have great prospect to study diagnostic and therapeutic methods of this dangerous disease.

Abstract
Objective This study aims to evaluate the efficacy of bevacizumab combined with capecitabine in treating HER2-negative metastatic breast cancer through meta-analysis. Methods We searched literature from databases, including PubMed, Web of Science, Wiley Online Library, Ovid, CNKI, and Wanfang databases, for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of bevacizumab combined with capecitabine (experimental group) and other treatments (control group) for HER2-negative metastatic breast cancer. Retrieved articles were published from the establishment of the database to August 9, 2022. The main outcome indicators were disease progression rate (RDP), disease progression-free survival (PFS), 1-year survival rate (OSR), the occurrence of serious adverse events (SAEs), and objective remission rate (ORR). The risk of bias was assessed according to the Cochrane systematic evaluation tool. Then, the meta-analysis was carried out using Stata16.0 software, and subgroup analysis was carried out based on various intervention methods in the control group. Results 8 RCTs were finally included in this study, including 2470 patients with HER2-negative metastatic breast cancer. The results of meta-analysis showed that bevacizumab combined with capecitabine had no significant advantage over the control group in terms of RDP, but the results of subgroup analysis were consistent and significant (subgroup 1 (bevacizumab or chemotherapy): DR = -0.03, 95% CI (-0.14, 0.09), P = 0.01; subgroup 2 (bevacizumab plus paclitaxel therapy): DR = -0.03, 95% CI (-0.14, 0.09), P = 0.03). Furthermore, there was no statistical difference in terms of PFS of the experimental group (MD = 9.24, 95% CI (7.88, 32.67), P = 0.05). However, the subgroup analysis showed that the combination of bevacizumab and capecitabine demonstrated a more significant significance than bevacizumab or chemotherapy alone (subgroup 1: MD = 10.11, 95% CI (7.88, 12.34), P = 0.00). Compared with the control group, the experimental group had significant differences in OSR (DR = 0.07, 95% CI (-0.01, 0.15), P = 0.00) and ORR (DR = 0.07, 95% CI (-0.01, 0.15), P = 0.00). In terms of safety, the incidence of serious adverse events in the experimental group did not show a statistically significant difference (MD = 0.01, 95% CI (-0.21, 0.19), P = 0.82). When subgroup analyses were performed, the bevacizumab plus capecitabine regimen was associated with an increased incidence of serious adverse events compared with the drug alone (subgroup 1: MD = 0.02, 95% CI (-0.16, 0.20), P = 0.00) but a reduction in serious adverse events compared with the bevacizumab plus paclitaxel regimen (subgroup 2: DR = -0.01, 95% CI (-0.21, 0.19), P = 0.00). Conclusion The combination therapy of bevacizumab and capecitabine can significantly improve the RDP and OSR of patients compared with the control group. The PFS and ORR of the experimental group are significantly higher than those of bevacizumab or chemotherapy alone. Still, no statistical difference was observed for these outcome indicators between two combined treatments of bevacizumab with capecitabine or paclitaxel. Although this combined treatment scheme may increase the incidence of serious adverse events compared with that of bevacizumab or chemotherapy alone, the incidence of adverse events was decreased compared with bevacizumab combined with paclitaxel. Therefore, the chemotherapy regimen for HER2-negative metastatic breast cancer in clinical practice can be selected according to the actual situation of the patients.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION AND OBJECTIVES In 2012, the Adolescents with Cancer Working Group published the results of a survey on care delivery for the adolescent population in Spain as a starting point for future intervention. The aim of this nationwide survey was to outline the current situation and assess whether the implemented strategies have resulted in changes in care delivery. MATERIAL AND METHODS Survey consisting of the same items analysed and published in 2012. The questionnaire was structured into sections devoted to epidemiology, psychosocial care, infrastructure, treatment and follow-up of adolescents with cancer. It was submitted to all hospitals in Spain with a paediatric haematology and oncology unit. We conducted a descriptive analysis of the results. RESULTS The percentage of patients aged up to 18 years managed in paediatric units has increased from 35.9% to 77.5% in the past decade. The proportion of malignant blood tumours treated in paediatric units increased from 31% to 52%, and the proportion of solid tumours from 49% to 85%. In 2012, 30 units (out of 39) reported that new cases in adolescents amounted to up to 10% of the total. At present, only 14 (out of 40) continue to report this percentage. A decade ago, there were no specific adolescent cancer units in Spain. Now, 7 centres (out of 40) have specific multidisciplinary units. There has been little change in psychological support services for adolescents. The follow-up of survivors is carried out by paediatric specialists in 82.5% of the hospitals. CONCLUSIONS The efforts made to centralise the care of adolescents with cancer in specific multidisciplinary adolescent units or, failing that, paediatric units, is reflected in the changes in care delivery in Spain in the past decade. Much remains to be done in key components of the management of adolescents with cancer.

Abstract
BACKGROUND/AIM Peritoneal metastasis (PM) of gastric cancer (GC) leads to poor clinical outcomes. Tumor-derived exosomes promote metastasis via communication between tumor cells and host cells. In this study, we investigated the effect of Rab27, which is required for exosome secretion, on the PM of GC. MATERIALS AND METHODS We established a stable knockdown of two Rab27 homologs, Rab27a and Rab27b, in human GC cells (58As9) with a high potential of PM. We examined the level of exosome secretion from Rab27-knockdown 58As9 cells by Western blotting and the ability of Rab27b knockdown to suppress PM in 58As9 cells using a mouse xenograft model. In vitro proliferation and invasion assays were performed in the Rab27b-knockdown cells. Next, Rab27b expression was evaluated in human GC tissues by immunohistochemistry. Finally, we assessed the clinicopathological and prognostic significance of Rab27b expression by RT-qPCR in both our and other TCGA datasets of GC. RESULTS Rab27a and Rab27b knockdown in 58As9 cells decreased the secretion of exosomes, characterized by the endocytic marker CD63. Rab27b knockdown decreased PM in vivo without affecting the in vitro proliferation or invasion ability of 58As9 cells. In human GC tissues, Rab27b was overexpressed in tumor cells. The overall and recurrence-free survival rates were significantly lower in GC patients with high compared to low Rab27b mRNA expression in our and other TCGA datasets. CONCLUSION Rab27b expression potentially serves as a poor prognostic biomarker, possibly affecting PM via exosome secretion from GC cells.

Abstract
Background There is a high prevalence of malnutrition in cancer patients, which seriously affects the anti-cancer therapy effect and outcomes, causing a huge disease burden worldwide. Appropriate nutritional support is important for cancer prevention and control. The aim of this study was to explore the development trends, hotspots, and frontiers of Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) on Cancer from a bibliometric perspective, and provide new insights for future research and clinic practices. Methods The global literature of MNT on Cancer published between 1975 and 2022 were searched in the Web of Science Core Collection Database (WOSCC). After refining the data, descriptive analysis and data visualization were performed with bibliometric tools (CiteSpace, VOSviewer, and R package "bibliometrix"). Results A total of 10,339 documents with a timespan from 1982 to 2022 were included in this study. The number of documents had increased continuously over the past 40 years, especially with a steep rise from 2016 to 2022. The majority of scientific production outputs were from the United States, which had the most core research institutions and authors. The published documents could be clustered into three themes respectively labeled by terms "double-blind", "cancer" and "quality-of-life". "gastric cancer", "outcome", "inflammation", "sarcopenia" and "exercise" were the most prominent keywords in recent years. "breast-cancer", "colorectal-cancer", "expression", "risk", "in-vitro", "quality-of-life", "cancer" and "life" might represent the newly emerged topics. Conclusions There were a good research foundation and reasonable disciplinary structure in the field of medical nutrition therapy for cancer at present. The core research team was mainly located in the United States, England, and other developed countries. According to the current trends in publications, more articles shall be published in the future. Nutritional metabolism, malnutrition risk, and the impact of nutritional therapy on prognosis might be research hotspots. In particular, it was important to focus on specific cancer, such as breast cancer, colorectal cancer, and gastric cancer, which might be the frontiers.

Abstract
Background and purpose Cancer has become one of the major killers of humanity due to the number of people over the age of 75 increasing with population ageing. The aim of this study was to analyse the incidence and mortality rates in people over 75 of 29 cancer types in 204 countries and regions, as well as the trends from 1990 to 2019. Methods Twenty-nine cancer types were collected from the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) 2019 database(https://vizhub.healthdata.org/gbd-results/). We collected global cancer data for 2019 in terms of sex, age, sociodemographic index (SDI), region, etc. The estimated annual percentage change (EAPC) was calculated to assess the trend of the cancer incidence and mortality rate from 1990 to 2019. Results In 2019, the number of new cancer cases and deaths among people 75 and older was almost 3 and 4.5 times that of 1990, respectively. From 1990 to 2019, there was a slow rise in incidence and a slight decline in mortality. There were significant differences in the cancer burden based on sex, age, region, and SDI. The cancer burden in men was higher than in women. In addition, the cancer burden varied from region to region. The highest cancer burden occurred in high-income North America. In addition, the higher the SDI was, the greater the burden of cancer. The incidence of cancer in high SDI was approximately seven times that of low SDI, and the trend of increase in high SDI was obvious. However, the trend of mortality in high SDI was decreasing, while it was increasing in low SDI. Conclusions The present study focused on the cancer burden in adults over 75 years old. The findings in the study could serve as the basis for an analysis of the types of cancers that are most prevalent in different regions. This is beneficial for strategies of prevention and treatment according to the characteristics of different countries and regions to reduce the burden of cancer in older adults. Abstract
Background Skin cancer is one of the most preventable diseases. The purpose of this study is to describe a social marketing-based intervention design protocol to promote sun-protective behaviors among adolescent boys living in urban areas in Yasuj, south west of Iran. Methods This study will be conducted based on six specific steps including a qualitative study, a systematic review, development of appropriate tools, a cross-sectional study, intervention designing, and a feasibility study. The main objective of the qualitative study is to elicit the views and opinions of adolescent boys, their parents, and teachers about sun-protective behaviors. In the second step, factors affecting sun-protective behaviors will be reviewed systematically. Based on the findings of the first and second steps, an appropriate model/theory of behavior change will be selected, and a standardized questionnaire will then be developed. In the fourth step, a cross-sectional survey will be conducted using the developed questionnaire to assess current sun-protective behavior practices. Results Findings of the first to fourth stages will provide a comprehensive picture of the issue and the affecting factors. During the fifth step, the structure and the content of the intervention package, as well as educational and promotional materials, will be developed and pre-tested. Finally, in the sixth step, a feasibility study will be conducted. Conclusion This study will provide practical information on the achieving of content and construct of a community-based social marketing intervention. This protocol reports on how to achieve audience-oriented insights for designing a tailored intervention aimed at promoting sun-protective behaviors among adolescent boys using social marketing.

Abstract
Malignant tumors have always been the biggest problem facing human survival, and a huge number of people die from cancer every year. Therefore, the identification and detection of malignant tumors have far-reaching significance for human survival and development. Some substances are abnormally expressed in tumors, such as cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), nitroreductase (NTR), pH, biothiols (GSH, Cys, Hcy), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), hydrogen sulfide (H2O2), hypochlorous acid (HOCl) and NADH. Consequently, it is of great value to diagnose and treat malignant tumors due to the identification and detection of these substances. Compared with traditional tumor detection methods, fluorescence imaging technology has the advantages of an inexpensive cost, fast detection and high sensitivity. Herein, we mainly introduce the research progress of fluorescent probes for identifying and detecting abnormally expressed substances in several tumors.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Young adult patients with cancer are a growing concern. By means of network analysis, this study aimed to explore the interplay between dignity-related distress and quality of life (QoL) in young adult patients with cancer when they undergo active treatments. METHODS In this cross-sectional study, 309 young adults aged 18-39 and diagnosed with malignant tumors were recruited from an oncology center in China between September 2020 and August 2021. Participants completed the Patient Dignity Inventory and SF-36 questionnaires. Network analysis was applied to examine the network structure. RESULTS Overall, the core facets of dignity-related distress were negatively related to QoL and its corresponding domains, either directly or indirectly. Developmental distress played a central role among estimated networks and strongly interplayed with most QoL domains, especially the mental domains. Symptom distress was the only facet consistently interplayed with the physical domains of QoL (i.e., physical function and bodily pain). The social aspects were also revealed in the association between limited social support and vitality. CONCLUSIONS Early attention must be paid to guarantee the need of preserving dignity and enhancing QoL for young adult patients. This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved.

Abstract
The exploration of cellular organelle-specific anchoring photosensitizers with both prominent fluorescence imaging behavior and extraordinary reactive oxygen species (ROS) production capability is highly in demand but remains a severe challenge for effective cancer theranostics involving photodynamic therapy (PDT). In this contribution, we developed a cell membrane-targeting and NIR-emission photosensitizer having an aggregation-induced emission (AIE) tendency. The AIE photosensitizer, namely TBMPEI, is capable of lighting up and ablating cancer cells by means of a necroptosis procedure enabling cell membrane rupture and DNA degradation upon light irradiation, endowing TBMPEI with impressive performance for both in vitro and in vivo fluorescence imaging-guided PDT.

Abstract
Simple Summary Approximately one million new cases of cancer are diagnosed in women of reproductive age every year. In the last few decades, advances in early diagnosis and treatment have improved the survival rate. However, the adverse effects of anticancer therapy on the ovaries and uterus have a significant impact on future fertility and may affect the quality of life of cancer survivors. Unfortunately, evidence about the trend of ovarian reserve loss over time is insufficient for predicting the duration of the fertile period. Currently, impaired fertility in cancer survivors is a growing issue that is complicated by an increasing number of women delaying childbearing. This review focuses on the detrimental effects of chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and surgery on reproductive functions and describes the mechanisms causing reduced fertility in cancer survivors. Moreover, in this review, the available fertility preservation strategies to guarantee the chance of motherhood in cancer survivors are illustrated. Abstract The incidence of cancer in reproductive-aged women is 7%, but, despite the increased number of cancer cases, advances in early diagnosis and treatment have raised the survival rate. Furthermore, in the last four decades, there has been a rising trend of delaying childbearing. There has been an increasing number of couples referred to Reproductive Medicine Centers for infertility problems after one partner has been treated for cancer. In these cases, the main cause of reduced fertility derives from treatments. In this review, we describe the effects and the risks of chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and surgery in women with cancer, and we will focus on available fertility preservation techniques and their efficacy in terms of success in pregnancy and live birth rates.

Abstract
Hemostasis and prevention of postoperative adhesions after hepatectomy are still challenges. In this work, we chose chitosan, a competitive candidate hemostatic material, as the backbone, and konjac glucomannan as the functional moieties, to form an injectable hydrogel. The hydrogel was prepared by the Schiff base reaction of dodecyl-modified N-carboxyethyl chitosan (DCEC) and oxidized konjac glucomannan (OKGM), which could effectively prevent bleeding and postoperative adhesions. The resultant hydrogel possessed self-healing and tissue adhesive capability, and combined the unique bioactivities of two polysaccharides: DCEC endowed the hydrogel with excellent antibacterial and hemostatic ability by the electrostatic and hydrophobic interactions between the cell membrane and amine/dodecyl groups, and OKGM imparted hydrogel anti-inflammatory action by activating macrophages. Moreover, the notable hemostatic efficacy of the hydrogel was confirmed in a rat hepatectomy model. The hydrogel could prevent postoperative adhesions and down-regulate the inflammatory factor TNF-α and the pro-fibrotic factor TGF-β1 in situ, which might be caused by the combination of the barrier function of hydrogel and instinct bioactivities of DCEC and OKGM. Thus, this multifunctional injectable hydrogel is potentially valuable for preventing bleeding and postoperative adhesions after hepatectomy.

Abstract
Objective The incidence of young‐onset (<50 years) colorectal cancer (CRC) has been increasing internationally. The psychosocial experience of younger cancer patients is vastly different from older patients, especially in domains such as financial toxicity, body image, and sexual dysfunction. What is unknown is the cancer type‐specific experience. The aim of the current scoping review was to examine (1) the psychosocial factors and/or outcomes associated with young‐onset CRC and (2) other determinants that influences these outcomes. Methods A systematic search was conducted on four databases (PubMed, CINAHL, Scopus and PsycINFO) from inception to December 2020 using key terms and combinations. Primary literature that examined the psychosocial (e.g., quality‐of‐life, emotional, social, sexual) impact of young‐onset CRC were included. Results A total of 1389 records were assessed by four reviewers, with a total of seven studies meeting inclusion criteria (n = 5 quantitative, n = 1 qualitative and n = 1 case series). All studies indicated there was significant psychosocial impact in younger CRC patients, including emotional impact, social impact, physical burden, sexual impact, work impact, unmet needs, financial impact and global quality of life. Three studies explored other determinants that influenced the psychosocial experience and found that socioeconomic background (e.g., being female, lower education), CRC treatment (e.g., chemotherapy) and health status were associated with worse psychosocial impact. Conclusions Young‐onset CRC patients face severe psychosocial impact unique to this age group, such as self‐image and sexual impact. Social support services and resources needs to be uniquely tailored. More empirical investigations are required to understand its long‐term impact and influence of other psychosocial domains. This scoping review of psychosocial impact in young‐onset colorectal cancer patients uncovered significant psychosocial impact which are in‐line with previous studies on young cancer (e.g., emotional impact, social impact, physical burden) as well as impact unique to colorectal cancer (e.g., self‐image, embarrassment with bowel movements and the impact of stoma). More empirical investigations are required to understand its long‐term impact and influence of other psychosocial domains.

Abstract
Emerging evidence has indicated that aberrantly expressed long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) play a vital role in various biological processes associated with tumorigenesis. Leukemia inhibitory factor receptor antisense RNA1 (LIFR-AS1) is a recently identified lncRNA transcribed in an antisense manner from the LIFR gene located on human chromosome 5p13.1. LIFR-AS1 regulates tumor proliferation, migration, invasion, apoptosis, and drug resistance through different mechanisms. Its expression level is related to the clinicopathological characteristics of tumors and plays a key role in tumor occurrence and development. In this review, we summarize the role of LIFR-AS1 in the development and progression of different cancers and highlight the potential for LIFR-AS1 to serve as a biomarker and therapeutic target for a variety of human cancers.
