Abstract
OBJECTIVE To analyze the current treatment status and prognostic regression of the chronic NK cell lymphoproliferative disorder (CLPD-NK). METHODS We retrospectively analyzed the clinical features, treatment and prognosis of 18 patients with CLPD-NK who were treated at our Hospital between September 2016 and September 2022. RESULTS Eighteen patients were included: three patients were treated with chemotherapy, five patients underwent immune-related therapy, one patient was treated with glucocorticoids alone, five patients were administered granulocyte colony-stimulating factor, blood transfusion therapy, or anti-infection therapy, followed by observation and follow-up, and four patients were observed without treatment. Fifteen patients survived, including two patients who achieved complete remission (CR) and seven patients who achieved partial remission (PR), of whom one patient progressed to Aggressive NK-cell leukemia (ANKL) and sustained remission after multiple lines of treatment; three patients were not reviewed, of which one patient was still in active disease, three patients developed hemophagocytic syndrome during treatment and eventually died, one of them had positive Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) expression. The 5-years overall survival rate was 83%. CONCLUSION Most patients with CLPD-NK have inert progression and a good prognosis, whereas some patients have a poor prognosis after progressing to ANKL and combined with hemophagocytic syndrome. Abnormal NK cells invading the center suggest a high possibility of ANKL development, and immunosuppressants and hormones are effective treatments for this disease.

Abstract
A series of "turn off" pH fluorescence probes with chalcone skeleton for basic system have been developed. The molecules emitted bright yellow fluorescence under acidic condition, resulting AIE coupled ESIPT characteristic and ICT process. What's more, the compounds exhibited excellent sensitivity and selectivity for detecting pH as a facile "On-Off" fluorescence probe, and the fluorescence of them were quenched with the ESIPT process interrupted under alkaline condition. Theoretical calculation for the related compounds also performed to verify the electron effect on photophysical properties and confirm the rational speculation on the mechanism.

Abstract
Marital quality may decrease during the early years of marriage. Establishing models predicting individualized marital quality may help develop timely and effective interventions to maintain or improve marital quality. Given that marital interactions have an important impact on marital well-being cross-sectionally and prospectively, neural responses during marital interactions may provide insight into neural bases underlying marital well-being. The current study applies connectome-based predictive modeling, a recently developed machine-learning approach, to functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) data from both partners of 25 early-stage Chinese couples to examine whether an individual's unique pattern of brain functional connectivity (FC) when responding to spousal interactive behaviors can reliably predict their own and their partners' marital quality after 13 months. Results revealed that husbands' FC involving multiple large networks, when responding to their spousal interactive behaviors, significantly predicted their own and their wives' marital quality, and this predictability showed gender specificity. Brain connectivity patterns responding to general emotional stimuli and during the resting state were not significantly predictive. This study demonstrates that husbands' differences in large-scale neural networks during marital interactions may contribute to their variability in marital quality and highlights gender-related differences. The findings lay a foundation for identifying reliable neuroimaging biomarkers for developing interventions for marital quality early in marriages.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Central nervous system lymphoma (CNSL) is an aggressive lymphoma. Orelabrutinib, an oral Bruton tyrosine kinase inhibitor, is a new treatment strategy for CNSL. This study aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of orelabrutinib-based regimens in the treatment of patients with CNSL. METHODS Twenty-three patients with CNSL were included in this retrospective study. All patients received the orelabrutinib-based regimen. Efficacy was evaluated based on investigators' assessment of overall response rate (ORR), complete response/unconfirmed complete response (CR/CRu), partial response (PR), stable disease (SD), progressive disease (PD), duration of response (DOR), progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS). The safety of orelabrutinib-based regimens has also been evaluated. RESULTS A total of 17.39% of patients received orelabrutinib-based regimens for consolidation therapy, and 82.61% of patients for induction therapy (4 newly diagnosed CNSL, 15 relapsed/refractory CNSL). In the newly diagnosed CNSL group, the ORR was 100% (1 CR, 1 CRu, 2 PR). The 6-month DOR rate, 6-month PFS rate, and 6-month OS rate were 100%, 100%, and 100%, respectively. Of the 15 relapsed/refractory CNSL patients, five therapy regimens were applied (orelabrutinib, n = 3; orelabrutinib/immunotherapy, n = 3; orelabrutinib/chemotherapy, n = 2; orelabrutinib/immunochemotherapy, n = 6; orelabrutinib/radiotherapy, n = 1). The ORR was 60.00% (4 CR, 5 PR). The 6-month DOR rate, 6-month PFS rate, and 6-month OS rate were 92.30%, 67.70%, and 70.00%, respectively. Twenty-one patients reported adverse events (AEs), and 6 patients experienced grade ≥ 3 AEs. CONCLUSION Orelabrutinib-based regimens were efficacious and well-tolerated in patients with CNSL. These combined therapies offer a new potential therapeutic strategy for patients with CNSL.

Abstract
Burkholderia pseudomallei is an important infectious disease pathogen that can cause melioidosis. Melioidosis is mainly prevalent in Thailand, northern Australia and southern China and has become a global public health problem. Early identification of B. pseudomallei is of great significance for the diagnosis and prognosis of melioidosis. In this study, a simple and visual device combined with lateral flow strip-based recombinase polymerase amplification (LF-RPA) was developed, and the utility of the LF-RPA assay for identifying B. pseudomallei was evaluated. In order to screen out the optimal primer probe, a total of 16 pairs of specific primers targeting the orf2 gene of B. pseudomallei type III secretion system (T3SS) cluster genes were designed for screening, and F1/R3 was selected as an optimal set of primers for the identification of B. pseudomallei, and parameters for LF-RPA were optimized. The LF-RPA can be amplified at 30-45°C and complete the entire reaction in 5-30 min. This reaction does not cross-amplify the DNA of other non-B. pseudomallei species. The limit of detection (LOD) of this assay for B. pseudomallei genomic DNA was as low as 30 femtograms (fg), which was comparable to the results of real-time PCR. Moreover, 21 clinical B. pseudomallei isolates identified by 16S rRNA gene sequencing were retrospectively confirmed by the newly developed LF-RPA system. Our results showed that the newly developed LF-RPA system has a simple and short time of operation and has good application prospect in the identification of B. pseudomallei.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Neural mechanisms underlying internet gaming disorder (IGD) are important for diagnostic considerations and treatment development. However, neurobiological underpinnings of IGD remain relatively poorly understood. METHODS We employed multi-voxel pattern analysis (MVPA), a machine-learning approach, to examine the potential of neural features to statistically predict IGD status and treatment outcome (percentage change in weekly gaming time) for IGD. Cue-reactivity fMRI-task data were collected from 40 male IGD subjects and 19 male healthy control (HC) subjects. 23 IGD subjects received 6 weeks of craving behavioral intervention (CBI) treatment. MVPA was applied to classify IGD subjects from HCs and statistically predict clinical outcomes. RESULTS MVPA displayed a high (92.37%) accuracy (sensitivity of 90.00% and specificity of 94.74%) in the classification of IGD and HC subjects. The most discriminative brain regions that contribute to classification were the bilateral middle frontal gyrus, precuneus, and posterior lobe of the right cerebellum. MVPA statistically predicted clinical outcomes in the craving behavioral intervention (CBI) group (r = 0.48, p = 0.0032). The most strongly implicated brain regions in the prediction model were the right middle frontal gyrus, superior frontal gyrus, supramarginal gyrus, anterior/posterior lobes of the cerebellum and left postcentral gyrus. CONCLUSIONS The findings about cue-reactivity neural correlates could help identify IGD subjects and predict CBI-related treatment outcomes provide mechanistic insight into IGD and its treatment and may help promote treatment development efforts.

Abstract
Social-information processing is important for successful romantic relationships and protecting against depression, and depends on functional connectivity (FC) within and between large-scale networks. Functional architecture evident at rest is adaptively reconfigured during task and there were two possible associations between brain reconfiguration and behavioral performance during neurocognitive tasks (efficiency effect and distraction-based effect). This study examined relationships between brain reconfiguration during social-information processing and relationship-specific and more general social outcomes in marriage. Resting-state FC was compared with FC during social-information processing (watching relationship-specific and general emotional stimuli) of 29 heterosexual couples, and the FC similarity (reconfiguration efficiency) was examined in relation to marital quality and depression 13 months later. The results indicated wives' reconfiguration efficiency (globally and in visual association network) during relationship-specific stimuli processing was related to their own marital quality. Higher reconfiguration efficiency (globally and in medial frontal, frontal-parietal, default mode, motor/sensory and salience networks) in wives during general emotional stimuli processing was related to their lower depression. These findings suggest efficiency effects on social outcomes during social cognition, especially among married women. The efficiency effects on relationship-specific and more general outcome are respectively higher during relationship-specific stimuli or general emotional stimuli processing.

Abstract
BACKGROUND AND AIMS Deficits in cognitive control represent a core feature of addiction. Internet Gaming Disorder (IGD) offers an ideal model to study the mechanisms underlying cognitive control deficits in addiction, eliminating the confounding effects of substance use. Studies have reported behavioral and neural deficits in reactive control in IGD, but it remains unclear whether individuals with IGD are compromised in proactive control or behavioral adjustment by learning from the changing contexts. METHODS Here, fMRI data of 21 male young adults with IGD and 21 matched healthy controls (HC) were collected during a stop-signal task. We employed group independent component analysis to investigate group differences in temporally coherent, large-scale functional network activities during post-error slowing, the typical type of behavioral adjustments. We also employed a Bayesian belief model to quantify the trial-by-trial learning of the likelihood of stop signal - P(Stop) - a broader process underlying behavioral adjustment, and identified the alterations in functional network responses to P(Stop). RESULTS The results showed diminished engagement of the fronto-parietal network during post-error slowing, and weaker activity in the ventral attention and anterior default mode network in response to P(Stop) in IGD relative to HC. DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSIONS These results add to the literatures by suggesting deficits in updating and anticipating conflicts as well as in behavioral adjustment according to contextual information in individuals with IGD.

Abstract
YAP/TAZ and β-catenin are important effectors in the Hippo and Wnt signaling pathways, respectively, which are involved in the development of human tumors. Using immunohistochemistry, the expression levels of the three proteins were determined in 151 cervical tissue samples (including 28 normal cervical, 31 cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, and 92 cervical squamous cell carcinoma [CSC] tissues), which were excised or biopsied by surgery. The results showed that the three proteins were differently expressed in normal, precancerous, and CSC tissues, and β-catenin expression positively correlated with both YAP and TAZ expression. By analyzing the relationships between YAP, TAZ, and β-catenin expression and the clinicopathologic characteristics of patients with CSC, we found that YAP was related to the depth of invasion > 1/2, the diameter of the tumor > 4 cm, and positive lymph nodes; while TAZ and β-catenin were related to the depth of invasion > 1/2 and positive lymph nodes. Regarding the prognostic factors of patients with CSC, Kaplan-Meier univariate and Cox multivariate regression analysis showed that there were significant correlations between lymph node infiltration; expression of YAP, TAZ, and β-catenin; and patient mortality (P < 0.05), all of which were independent factors influencing mortality (OR > 1).

Abstract
Current models of addiction biology highlight altered neural responses to non-drug rewards as a central feature of addiction. However, given that drugs of abuse can directly impact reward-related dopamine circuitry, it is difficult to determine the extent to which reward processing alterations are a trait feature of individuals with addictions, or primarily a consequence of exogenous drug exposure. Examining individuals with behavioral addictions is one promising approach for disentangling neural features of addiction from the direct effects of substance exposure. The current fMRI study compared neural responses during monetary reward processing between drug naïve young adults with a behavioral addiction, internet gaming disorder (IGD; n = 22), and healthy controls (n = 27) using a monetary incentive delay task. Relative to controls, individuals with IGD exhibited blunted caudate activity associated with loss magnitude at the outcome stage, but did not differ from controls in neural activity at other stages. These findings suggest that decreased loss sensitivity might be a critical feature of IGD, whereas alterations in gain processing may be less characteristic of individuals with IGD, relative to those with substance use disorders. Therefore, classic theories of altered reward processing in substance use disorders should be translated to behavioral addictions with caution.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Cue-induced brain reactivity has been suggested to be a fundamental and important mechanism explaining the development, maintenance, and relapse of addiction, including Internet gaming disorder (IGD). Altered activity in addiction-related brain regions has been found during cue-reactivity in IGD using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), but less is known regarding the alterations of coordinated whole brain activity patterns in IGD. METHODS To investigate the activity of temporally coherent, large-scale functional brain networks (FNs) during cue-reactivity in IGD, independent component analysis was applied to fMRI data from 29 male subjects with IGD and 23 matched healthy controls (HC) performing a cue-reactivity task involving Internet gaming stimuli (i.e., game cues) and general Internet surfing-related stimuli (i.e., control cues). RESULTS Four FNs were identified that were related to the response to game cues relative to control cues and that showed altered engagement/disengagement in IGD compared with HC. These FNs included temporo-occipital and temporo-insula networks associated with sensory processing, a frontoparietal network involved in memory and executive functioning, and a dorsal-limbic network implicated in reward and motivation processing. Within IGD, game versus control engagement of the temporo-occipital and frontoparietal networks were positively correlated with IGD severity. Similarly, disengagement of temporo-insula network was negatively correlated with higher game-craving. DISCUSSION These findings are consistent with altered cue-reactivity brain regions reported in substance-related addictions, providing evidence that IGD may represent a type of addiction. The identification of the networks might shed light on the mechanisms of the cue-induced craving and addictive Internet gaming behaviors.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the correlation of health literacy and mobile phone use dependence with psychopathological symptoms in middle school students. Methods: 22 628 middle school students in Shenyang, Bengbu, Xinxiang, Ulanqab, Chongqing and Yangjiang were enrolled by multistage cluster sampling method from November 2015 to January 2016. Chinese Adolescent Interactive Health Literacy Questionnaire (CAIHLQ), Self-rating Questionnaire for Adolescent Problematic Mobile Phone Use (SQAPMPU) and Multidimensional Sub-health Questionnaire of Adolescents (MSQA) were applied to acquire basic characteristics, health literacy, mobile phone use dependence and psychopathological symptoms of subjects. Subjects were classified into three groups, low level (<P(25)), medium level (P(25)-P(75)) and high level (>P(75)), according to the percentile of the questionnaire score. Multivariate logistic regression model was used to analyze the correlation of health literacy, mobile phone with psychopathological symptoms. Results: The students were (15.4±1.8) years old with 10 990 boys (48.6%). The score of health literacy of students were (104.1±18.7) points. The rate of mobile phone use dependence was 25.4% (5 752/22 628) and the rate of psychopathological symptoms was 29.1% (6 581/22 628). Compared with high health literacy level, medium and low health literacy levels were related to psychopathological symptoms, with OR (95%CI) about 2.30 (2.10-2.52) and 5.40 (4.89-5.97), respectively. Compared with mobile phone use independence, mobile phone use dependence was related to psychopathological symptoms, with OR (95%CI) about 3.60(3.37-3.85). The highest rate of psychopathological symptoms occurred in students with mobile phone use dependence and low health literacy level [68.0% (1 345/1 977)], with OR (95%CI) about 19.59 (17.07-22.48). Conclusion: Health literacy and mobile phone use dependence are related factors of psychopathological symptoms in middle school students.

Chinese Adolescent Interactive Health Literacy Questionnaire (CAIHLQ), Self-rating Questionnaire for Adolescent Problematic Mobile Phone Use (SQAPMPU), and Unintentional Injuries Assessment Scale and demographic variables were used to measure the health literacy, mobile phone dependence and unintentional injuries among the Chinese middle school students. Results: The detection rates of mobile phone dependence and unintentional injuries were 25.4% and 46.7%, respectively. The rates of unintentional injuries of middle school students with mobile phone dependence and with low, medium and high health literacy were 53.6%, 44.4% and 48.8%, 48.1%, 41.7%. Factors as mobile phone dependence, low and middle health literacy were positively related to unintentional injuries (OR=1.452, 1.196, 1.364). However, the multiplicative interaction between mobile phone dependence and health literacy on unintentional injuries was noticed significant (OR=1.217, 95%CI: 1.041-1.422). Conclusions: Our results showed that the prevalence of unintentional injuries was relatively high in middle school students. Health literacy and mobile phone dependence seemed related to unintentional injuries. Interaction between health literacy and mobile phone dependence on unintentional injuries appeared significant.

Abstract
Difficulties in emotion regulation are commonly reported among individuals with alcohol and drug addictions and contribute to the acquisition and maintenance of addictive behaviors. Alterations in neural processing of negative affective stimuli have further been demonstrated among individuals with addictions. However, it is unclear whether these alterations are a general feature of addictions or are a result of prolonged exposure to drugs of abuse. To test the hypothesis of altered negative affect processing independent of drug effects, this study assessed neural function among drug-naïve youth with a behavioral addiction-Internet gaming disorder (IGD). Fifty-six young adults (28 with IGD, 28 matched controls) participated in fMRI scanning during performance of a well-validated emotion regulation task. Between-group differences in neural activity during task performance were assessed using a whole-brain, mixed-effects ANOVA with correction for multiple comparisons at currently recommended thresholds (voxel-level p<0.001, pFWE<0.05). Compared to controls, youth with IGD exhibited significantly blunted neural responses within distributed subcortical and cortical regions including the striatum, insula, lateral prefrontal cortex and anterior cingulate in response to negative affective cues, as well as during emotion regulation. Independent component analysis (ICA) further identified between-group differences in engagement of a fronto-cingulo-parietal network, involving decreased engagement in IGD youth relative to controls. Study findings are largely consistent with those from prior neuroimaging studies in substance-use disorders, thus raising the possibility that neural processing of negative affect may be blunted across drug and behavioral addictions independent of acute or chronic drug effects.

Abstract
Psychobehavioral intervention is an effective treatment of Internet addiction, including Internet gaming disorder (IGD). However, the neural mechanisms underlying its efficacy remain unclear. Cortical-ventral striatum (VS) circuitry is a common target of psychobehavioral interventions in drug addiction, and cortical-VS dysfunction has been reported in IGD; hence, the primary aim of the study was to investigate how the VS circuitry responds to psychobehavioral interventions in IGD. In a cross-sectional study, we examined resting-state functional connectivity of the VS in 74 IGD subjects (IGDs) and 41 healthy controls (HCs). In a follow-up craving behavioral intervention (CBI) study, of the 74 IGD subjects, 20 IGD subjects received CBI (CBI+) and 16 IGD subjects did not (CBI-). All participants were scanned twice with similar time interval to assess the effects of CBI. IGD subjects showed greater resting-state functional connectivity of the VS to left inferior parietal lobule (lIPL), right inferior frontal gyrus and left middle frontal gyrus, in positive association with the severity of IGD. Moreover, compared with CBI-, CBI+ showed significantly greater decrease in VS-lIPL connectivity, along with amelioration in addiction severity following the intervention. These findings demonstrated that functional connectivity between VS and lIPL, each presumably mediating gaming craving and attentional bias, may be a potential biomarker of the efficacy of psychobehavioral intervention. These results also suggested that non-invasive techniques such as transcranial magnetic or direct current stimulation targeting the VS-IPL circuitry may be used in the treatment of Internet gaming disorders.

Abstract
Internet gaming disorder (IGD) is characterized by cognitive and emotional deficits. Previous studies have reported the co-occurrence of IGD and depression. However, extant brain imaging research has largely focused on cognitive deficits in IGD. Few studies have addressed the comorbidity between IGD and depression symptoms and underlying neural mechanisms. Here, we systematically investigated this issue by combining a longitudinal survey study, a cross-sectional resting-state functional connectivity (rsFC) study and an intervention study. Autoregressive cross-lagged modeling on a longitudinal dataset of college students showed that IGD severity and depression are reciprocally predictive. At the neural level, individuals with IGD exhibited enhanced rsFC between the left amygdala and right dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC), inferior frontal and precentral gyrus, compared with control participants, and the amygdala-frontoparietal connectivity at the baseline negatively predicted reduction in depression symptoms following a psychotherapy intervention. Further, following the intervention, individuals with IGD showed decreased connectivity between the left amygdala and left middle frontal and precentral gyrus, as compared with the non-intervention group. These findings together suggest that IGD may be closely associated with depression; aberrant rsFC between emotion and executive control networks may underlie depression and represent a therapeutic target in individuals with IGD. Abstract
BACKGROUND Prenatal lipopolysaccharide (LPS) exposure causes hypertension in rat offspring through an unknown mechanism. Here, we investigated the role of the intrarenal renin-angiotensin system (RAS) in hypertension induced by prenatal LPS exposure and also explored whether adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells (ADSCs) can ameliorate the effects of prenatal LPS exposure in rat offspring. METHODS Sixty-four pregnant rats were randomly divided into 4 groups (n = 16 in each), namely, a control group and an LPS group, which were intraperitoneally injected with vehicle and 0.79 mg/kg LPS, respectively, on the 8th, 10th, and 12th days of gestation; an ADSCs group, which was intravenously injected with 1.8 × 107 ADSCs on the 8th, 10th, and 12th days of gestation; and an LPS + ADSCs group, which received a combination of the treatments administered to the LPS and ADSCs groups. RESULTS Prenatal LPS exposure increased blood pressure, Ang II expression, Ang II-positive, monocyte and lymphocyte, apoptotic cells in the kidney, and induced renal histological changes in offspring; however, the LPS and control groups did not differ significantly with respect to plasma renin activity levels, Ang II levels, or renal function. ADSCs treatment attenuated the blood pressure and also ameliorated the other effects of LPS-treated adult offspring. CONCLUSIONS Prenatal exposure to LPS activates the intrarenal RAS but not the circulating RAS and thus induces increases in blood pressure in adult offspring; however, ADSCs treatment attenuates the blood pressure increases resulting from LPS exposure and also ameliorates the other phenotypic changes induced by LPS treatment by inhibiting intrarenal RAS activation.

Objective: To examine the relationship between the prevalence of self-reported myopia and outdoor activities among middle school students and to explore the influence factors of the self-reported myopia. Methods: A total of 12 979 participants were recruited from junior and senior middle school students in in Shenzhen, Nanchang, Zhengzhou and Shenyang by random cluster sampling method between December 2015 and March 2016. All participants completed an anonymous questionnaire to collect the information of demographic characteristics, self-reported myopia, outdoor activities, etc. 12 603 out of 12 979 copies of questionnaire were valid. The prevalence of self-reported myopia was compared among middle school students with different characteristics. Logistic regression models were used to analyze the relationship between myopia and outdoor activities. Results: The prevalence of self-reported myopia among middle school students was 69.6% (8 766/12 603); which was separately 52.1% (1 216/2 335) in seventh grader, 61.6% (1 459/2 369) in eighth grader, 69.0%(1 470/2 129) in ninth grader, 80.0% (1 812/2 265) in freshmen, 79.4% (1 622/2 042) in sophomore, and 81.1%(1 187/1 463) in junior. The prevalence of self-reported myopia showed an increasing trend with the increase of grade (χ(2)=639.67, P<0.001). The prevalence of self-reported myopia was separately 63.5%(4 927/7 756) in non-myopic parents group, 78.0%(2 664/3 415)in either myopic parent group, and 82.1%(1 175/1 432) in both myopic parents group(χ(2)=328.28, P<0.001). Outdoor activities were associated with self-reported myopia. Binary logistic regression analysis showed that the risk of self-reported myopia was significantly increased by always staying at home in extracurricular time among the middle school students (OR=1.58, 95%CI: 1.36-1.82). The risk of self-reported myopia were significantly decreased by always physical exercise and recreational activities after school among middle school students: the ORs were separately 0.67 (95%CI: 0.57-0.78) for physical exercise and 0.77 (95%CI: 0.64-0.92) for recreational activities. After stratified analysis by the parents' myopia status, in non-myopic parents group, exercise and recreational activities after school among middle school students decreased the risk of myopia: the ORs were separately 0.68 (95%CI: 0.55-0.82) for physical exercise and 0.76 (95%CI: 0.61-0.95) for recreational activities; in either myopic parent group, OR(95%CI) were separately 0.65 (0.47-0.90) and 0.68 (0.47-0.98). Conclusion: Outdoor activities was negatively associated with self-reported myopia among middle school students. However, the parents' myopia status may affect the protective effect.

Abstract
Objective: The aim of this study was to describe the distribution of neck-shoulder symptoms among middle school students, and to explore its influence factors. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted on 24 middle schools in Shenyang, Zhengzhou and Shenzhen by purposive sampling method. In each middle school, 3 to 4 classes were selected from each grade all the students in the selected class would be recruited to the survey to investigate the demographic characteristics, neck-shoulder symptoms, physical exercise time, academic stress, screen behavior, sedentary behavior and other information by questionnaire. A total of 10 566 questionnaires were issued and 10 270 valid questionnaires were withdrawn. The prevalence of neck-shoulder symptoms among students were compared by different characteristics. Logistic regression models were applied to examine influencing factors associated with neck-shoulder symptoms. Results: The prevalence of neck-shoulder symptoms among middle school students was 19.2% (1 968/10 270), while it was 22.6% (1 137/5 039) among girls and 15.9% (831/5 231) among boys; the difference showed statistical significance (P<0.001). The prevalence of neck-shoulder symptoms was separately 13.3% (253/1 901) in seventh grade, 16.8% (326/1 942) in eighth grade, 18.5% (299/1 617) in ninth grade, 21.8% (417/1 915) in sophomore, 21.4% (345/1 611) in junior, 25.5% (328/1 284) in senior; the difference showed statistical significance (P<0.001). The multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that in the last 3 months, students who always playing mobile phone ≥40 min continuously (OR=4.66, 95%CI: 3.95-5.49), watching TV ≥40 min continuously (OR=4.01, 95%CI: 3.39-4.73), using computer ≥40 min continuously (OR=3.61, 95%CI: 3.09-4.23), doing homework ≥60 min continuously (OR=3.25, 95%CI: 2.79-3.79), the average daily sitting time ≥10 h (OR=4.95, 95%CI: 4.25-5.77), and always sitting ≥90 min continuously (OR=5.18, 95%CI: 4.42-6.06) were risk factors of neck-shoulder symptoms. Conclusion: The prevalence of neck-shoulder symptoms was high among middle school students in China, especially girls in senior grades. Long time, high frequency video behaviors and sedentary behaviors were related to the occurrence of neck-shoulder symptoms among middle school students.

Abstract
Studies conducted in drug addiction suggest a transition in processing of drug-related cues from the ventral to the dorsal component of the striatum. However, this process has not been studied in a behavioral addiction. Assessment of this process in a non-drug addiction can provide insight into the pathophysiology of both substance and behavioral addictions. Thirty-nine male Internet gaming disorder (IGD) subjects and 23 male matched healthy controls (HCs) participated in functional magnetic resonance imaging during performance of a cue-reactivity task involving alternating presentation of Internet gaming-related stimuli (game cues) and general Internet surfing-related stimuli (control cues). Cue-induced neural activations in the ventral and dorsal striatum (DS) were compared between IGD and HC participants. Associations between cue-reactivity within these regions and cue-induced craving and severity and duration of IGD were also explored. IGD participants exhibited higher cue-induced activations within both the ventral and DS when compared with HCs. Within the IGD group, activity within the left ventral striatum (VS) was correlated negatively with cue-induced craving; positive associations were found between activations within the DS (right putamen, pallidum and left caudate) and duration of IGD. Cue-induced activity within the left putamen was negatively associated with right VS volumes among IGD participants. Consistent with studies in substance addictions, our results suggest that a transition from ventral to dorsal striatal processing may occur among individuals with IGD, a condition without the impact of substance intake.

Abstract
Risk-taking is purported to be central to addictive behaviors. However, for Internet gaming disorder (IGD), a condition conceptualized as a behavioral addiction, the neural processes underlying impaired decision-making (risk evaluation and outcome processing) related to gains and losses have not been systematically investigated. Forty-one males with IGD and 27 healthy comparison (HC) male participants were recruited, and the cups task was used to identify neural processes associated with gain- and loss-related risk- and outcome-processing in IGD. During risk evaluation, the IGD group, compared to the HC participants, showed weaker modulation for experienced risk within the bilateral dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) (t = - 4.07; t = - 3.94; PFWE < 0.05) and inferior parietal lobule (IPL) (t = - 4.08; t = - 4.08; PFWE < 0.05) for potential losses. The modulation of the left DLPFC and bilateral IPL activation were negatively related to addiction severity within the IGD group (r = - 0.55; r = - 0.61; r = - 0.51; PFWE < 0.05). During outcome processing, the IGD group presented greater responses for the experienced reward within the ventral striatum, ventromedial prefrontal cortex, and orbitofrontal cortex (OFC) (t = 5.04, PFWE < 0.05) for potential gains, as compared to HC participants. Within the IGD group, the increased reward-related activity in the right OFC was positively associated with severity of IGD (r = 0.51, PFWE < 0.05). These results provide a neurobiological foundation for decision-making deficits in individuals with IGD and suggest an imbalance between hypersensitivity for reward and weaker risk experience and self-control for loss. The findings suggest a biological mechanism for why individuals with IGD may persist in game-seeking behavior despite negative consequences, and treatment development strategies may focus on targeting these neural pathways in this population.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To evaluate the effect of PEGylated IL-11 mutein (PEG-mIL 11) with different dose or injection frequency on thrombocytopenia in myelosuppressed mice and to compare its effect with mIL-11, so as to provide reference data for clinical use. METHODS Myelosuppressive model with thrombocyopenia was produced in BALB/c mice by whole body 60Co γ-ray irradiation in dose of administration 2.5 Gy followed by i.p. injections of carboplatin at 50 mg/kg. In study of injection frequency, 30 thrombocytopenic BALB/c mice were randomly divided into 5 groups: vehicle control group (once daily on d1, 4, 7), mIL-11 group [200 µg/(kg·d)×9 d], PEG-mIL 11 A group [111800 µg/(kg·d)×1 d (d 1)], PEG-mIL 11 B group 900 µg/(kg·d)×2 d (d 1,5), and PEG-mIL 11 C group [600 µg/(kg·d)×3 d (d 1,4,7)]. The route of administration is subcutaneous injection. The platelet counts were monitored in the subsequant 5 weeks. In study of dose administration, 100 thrombocytopenic BALB/c mice were randomly divided into 5 groups: vehicle control group (once daily on d1 and 5), mIL-11 group 200 µg/(kg·d)×9 d, and PEG-mIL 11 low-, mid-, and high-dose groups (200, 420 and 900 µg/(kg·d)×2 d, once a day on d1 and 5). The route of administration is subcutaneous injection. The platelet counts were monitored every 2-3 days in the subsequant 5 weeks, and CFU-Meg was determined on d 8 of the bone marrow cells collection. RESULTS After 60Co irradition and carboplatin injection, Plt level decreased with time, and a >80% reduction was noted at nadir when comparing with baseline. In frequency of administration study, the platelet nadir of the 3 PEG-mIL 11 groups were significantly higher than that of vehicle control and mIL-11 groups (P<0.05), while no significant difference was noted among the 3 groups of different administration frequences; In dose level study, the reduction of Plt count at the nadir in the 3 PEG-mIL 11 groups was significantly less than that of vehicle control and mIL-11 groups (P<0.05). And a rapid recovery of Plt count was found in the PEG-mIL 11 groups with a dose-dependent increase of Plt count on d 10. A lower reduction and a rapider recovery of RBC was also found in the PEG-mIL 11 groups. No significant effect on WBC was found for all the treatment groups. An increase in CFU-Meg was observed in PEG-mIL 11 and mIL-11 groups, with higher CFU-Meg in PEG-mIL 11 groups. CONCLUSION A preventive effect of PEG-mIL 11 on thrombocytopenia in myelosuppressed mice has been confirmed. In comparison with mIL-11, a better effect of PEG-mIL 11 is obtained under lower dose frequency, indicating a better compliance of the treatment regimen, and providing a foundation for developing a long-acting preparation of rhIL-11.

Abstract
Internet gaming disorder (IGD) is characterized by high levels of craving for online gaming and related cues. Since addiction-related cues can evoke increased activation in brain areas involved in motivational and reward processing and may engender gaming behaviors or trigger relapse, ameliorating cue-induced craving may be a promising target for interventions for IGD. This study compared neural activation between 40 IGD and 19 healthy control (HC) subjects during an Internet-gaming cue-reactivity task and found that IGD subjects showed stronger activation in multiple brain areas, including the dorsal striatum, brainstem, substantia nigra, and anterior cingulate cortex, but lower activation in the posterior insula. Furthermore, twenty-three IGD subjects (CBI + group) participated in a craving behavioral intervention (CBI) group therapy, whereas the remaining 17 IGD subjects (CBI − group) did not receive any intervention, and all IGD subjects were scanned during similar time intervals. The CBI + group showed decreased IGD severity and cue-induced craving, enhanced activation in the anterior insula and decreased insular connectivity with the lingual gyrus and precuneus after receiving CBI. These findings suggest that CBI is effective in reducing craving and severity in IGD, and it may exert its effects by altering insula activation and its connectivity with regions involved in visual processing and attention bias. IGD subjects showed altered cue-induced neural activation in reward-related areas. IGD subjects alleviated IGD symptoms after CBI. IGD subjects showed higher insular activation after CBI. IGD subjects showed lower insula-lingual gyrus/precuneus connectivity after CBI.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the safety and effectiveness of laparoscopic reoperation for patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) recurred form previous anti-reflux surgery. METHODS Totally 19 patients received laparoscopic reoperation for symptomatic and anatomic recurred GERD in Department of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease, Rocket Force General Hospital from January 2008 to September 2015 were retrospectively analyzed. There were 12 male and 7 female patients. The average reoperation age was (48±14) years, the average duration of reoperation from original ones was (43±38) months. The patients underwent preoperative barium, endoscopy, manometry and 24-hour pH studies. Laparoscopic hiatal hernia repair plus fundoplication was carried out for reoperation. Gastroesophageal reflux related symptoms (reflux, heartburn, chest pain, chough, wheezing, chest tightness and globus sensation) before and after surgery were compared by a questionnaire. The patients' medication consumption, complications and satisfaction of the reoperation were investigated as well. The repeated measures analysis of variance was used for statistical comparison of data preoperatively and postoperatively. RESULTS No major complication and death occurred. Six cases (32%) had complications such as diarrhea, increased passing wind, flatulence, dysphagia and abdominal pain. The GERD related symptom score of reflux, heartburn, chest pain, chough, wheezing, chest tightness and globus sensation all significantly decreased (F: 25.0 to 56.7; P: 0.000 to 0.001) after the reoperation, with 68% good outcome of all the patients. After a follow-up of (33±22) months after reoperation, 1 case had partial recurrence at the 3(rd) month after reoperation. For all the patients, 12 cases felt very satisfied or satisfied with the reoperation. CONCLUSION Laparoscopic reoperation is generally effective with acceptable morbidity rates for patients with esophageal and extraesophageal symptoms recurred form previous hiatal repair and (or) fundoplication.

Abstract
A new degraded sesquiterpene, tectoionol C (1), together with five known compounds wilsonol F (2), heterodendrin (3), epi-heterodendrin (4), 7-deoxogeayine (5), and 1H-indole-3-carboxylicacid, methyl ester (6), was isolated from the twigs of Trigonostemon lutescens. Their structures were determined by spectroscopic methods including 1D and 2D NMR techniques, as well as by comparison with published data.

Abstract
Background Internet gaming disorder (IGD) has become an increasing mental health problem worldwide. Decreased resting-state functional connectivity (rsFC) between the ventral tegmental area (VTA) and the nucleus accumbens (NAcc) has been found in substance use and is thought to play an important role in the development of substance addiction. However, rsFC between the VTA and NAcc in a non-substance addiction, such as IGD, has not been assessed previously. The current study aimed to investigate: (1) if individuals with IGD exhibit alterations in VTA-NAcc functional connectivity; and (2) whether VTA-NAcc functional connectivity is associated with subjective Internet craving. Methods Thirty-five male participants with IGD and 24 healthy control (HC) individuals participated in resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging. Regions of interest (left NAcc, right NAcc and VTA) were selected based on the literature and were defined by placing spheres centered on Talairach Daemon coordinates. Results In comparison with HCs, individuals with IGD had significantly decreased rsFC between the VTA and right NAcc. Resting-state functional connectivity strength between the VTA and right NAcc was negatively correlated with self-reported subjective craving for the Internet. Conclusions These results suggest possible neural functional similarities between individuals with IGD and individuals with substance addictions. Abstract
Baculovirus is the only virus that has been found to encode the ubiquitin protein. In this study, ubiquitin sequences from 16 insects and 49 viruses were collected and compared. The resulting sequences were aligned with virus genomes. Then MAGE 5.0, k-estimated software, as well as other software programs were used for systemic evolutionary, selection pressure, and evolutionary distance analysis. The results of the pairwise ratio of non-synonymous to synonymous substitution values and evolutionary distances showed that ubiquitin from baculovirus and insect hosts have been under purifying selection during evolution and are thus evolutionarily conserved. Moreover, genes from insect hosts were more conserved than those in baculovirus. Analysis of the non-synonymous to synonymous substitution rates at each site and entropy calculations revealed the evolutionary status of every site in the ubiquitin genes of baculovirus and their hosts. Genome locations and phylogenetic trees indicated that granuloviruses and non-photosynthetic vegetation evolved, and granulovirus evolution was more similar to that of insect hosts. Our results suggest that the ubiquitin gene in baculovirus may have been acquired through horizontal transfer from the host.

A new tetranortriterpenoid, named 6-deacetyl-severinolide, together with six known tetranortriterpenoids severinolide, acetyl-isoepiatalantin, 7-isovaleroylcycloepiatalantin, cycloepiatalantin, 7-isovaleroylcycloseverinolide, and atalantin, was isolated from the ethanol extract of the roots of Atalantia buxifolia collected in Hainan. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods including 1D and 2D NMR (HMQC, ¹H-¹H COSY, HMBC, and NOESY).

Abstract
This was a community-based study to evaluate the prevalence and characteristics of female urinary incontinence in women aged 18 and above in the Shatin District of Hong Kong. Of a total of 1018 female households contacted, 362 individuals were successfully interviewed and 123 women (34%) reported they had experienced at least one episode of urinary incontinence as adults. Of these, 18.5% reported persistent incontinence and 15.5% reported absence of incontinence after a single episode of urine loss. The risk factors for incontinence revealed by this study were body mass index and parity. Women who had never been incontinent had a lower body mass index and were usually nulliparous. Most of the respondents (43.9%) who had urinary incontinence considered the condition to be a minor problem and did not seek professional advice. This investigation indicates that a territory-wide study should be carried out to determine the incidence of urinary incontinence throughout Hong Kong.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To determine whether macular edema affects the surgical outcome in eyes with idiopathic epiretinal membrane. DESIGN Case series. SETTING University-based referral practice in Vancouver. PATIENTS Sixty-one patients (63 eyes) (37 women and 24 men ranging in age from 47 to 96 [mean 70] years) who underwent pars plana vitrectomy with membrane peeling for idiopathic epiretinal membrane. OUTCOME MEASURES Degree of macular edema on preoperative fluorescein angiograms (none, mild or severe), as rated independently by two masked observers, and preoperative and postoperative Snellen visual acuity. RESULTS Of the 63 eyes 32 had no macular edema, 21 had mild edema, and 10 had severe edema. Fifty-two eyes (83%) had an improvement in visual acuity. The mean number of lines of improvement in visual acuity for the three groups was 2.2, 3.7 and 2.6 respectively. Multiple regression analysis showed that the factor with the greatest adverse effect on visual outcome was intraoperative macular hole formation. The presence of macular edema preoperatively did not significantly affect visual outcome. CONCLUSIONS Our results suggest that even eyes with significant macular edema secondary to idiopathic epiretinal membranes may benefit from vitrectomy with membrane peeling.

Abstract
Information concerning the efficacy of osteogenin, a bone morphogenetic protein, and demineralized bone matrix in orthotopic sites in nonhuman primates is a prerequisite for potential clinical application in humans. After exposure of the calvaria, 84 cranial defects, 25 mm in diameter, were prepared in 26 adult male baboons (Papio ursinus). Defects were implanted with insoluble collagenous bone matrix (ICBM, the inactive collagenous residue after dissociative extraction of bone matrix with 4 M guanidine hydrochloride) reconstituted with osteogenin fractions isolated from baboon bone matrix by chromatography on heparin-Sepharose and hydroxyapatite-Ultrogel (Og Hep-HA) or osteogenin further purified using Sephacryl S-200 gel filtration chromatography (Og S-200). Baboon osteogenin with the highest biologic activity in a rodent bioassay, as determined by alkaline phosphatase activity, calcium content, and histologic analysis, was used for orthotopic implantation in baboons. Additional defects were implanted with baboon demineralized bone matrix (DBM) or ICBM without osteogenin as control. Defects also were grafted with corticocancellous bone harvested from the iliac crest or left ungrafted to monitor the spontaneous regeneration potential of the adult baboon calvaria. Undecalcified bone sections at 7 microns were prepared from the harvested specimens 30 and 90 days after surgery. Histomorphometry demonstrated that Og S-200 induced copious amounts of bone and osteoid as early as day 30 (P < 0.01 versus ICBM, autogenous grafts and untreated defects). At day 90, in implants of Og S-200, Og Hep-HA, and DBM, bone and marrow formation was extensive, culminating in complete regeneration of the craniotomies. In implants of DBM, bone formed with an intervening phase of cartilage development. This provides the phenotypic evidence of endochondral bone differentiation by induction in defects of membranous calvarial bone in adult primates. These results establish the potential therapeutic application of osteogenin and demineralized bone matrix for the architectural reconstruction of the bone-bone marrow organ in humans.

Abstract
Osteogenin, a bone morphogenetic protein, in conjunction with insoluble collagenous bone matrix initiates local endochondral bone differentiation by induction in vivo. This study, by exploiting the affinity of native osteogenin for hydroxyapatite, was designed to construct a delivery system for the expression of the biologic activity of osteogenin in nonhealing calvarial defects of adult primates. After exposure of the calvaria, 64 cranial defects, 25 mm in diameter, were prepared in 16 adult male baboons (Papio ursinus). Defects were implanted with disks of porous nonresorbable and resorbable hydroxyapatite substrata obtained after hydrothermal conversion of calcium carbonate exoskeletons of corals. In each animal, one disk of each hydroxyapatite preparation was treated with osteogenin isolated and purified from baboon bone matrix after sequential chromatography on heparin-Sepharose, hydroxyapatite, and Sephacryl S-200 gel filtration columns. The remaining two defects were implanted with one disk of each hydroxyapatite preparation without osteogenin as control. Histomorphometry on decalcified sections prepared on days 30 and 90 showed superior osteogenesis in osteogenin-treated nonresorbable hydroxyapatite specimens as compared with controls. On day 90, substantial bone formation also had occurred in control nonresorbable hydroxyapatite specimens. On day 90, but not on day 30, significantly greater amounts of bone had formed in osteogenin-treated resorbable specimens as compared with resorbable controls. Overall, resorbable substrata performed poorly when compared with nonresorbable substrata, perhaps due to a premature dissolution of the implants. These results provide evidence that the biologic activity of osteogenin can be restored and delivered by a substratum other than the organic collagenous matrix, inducing rapid bone differentiation in calvarial defects of adult nonhuman primates. The adsorption strategy of osteogenin on porous inorganic nonimmunogenic substrata may help to design appropriate osteogenic delivery systems for craniofacial and orthopedic applications in humans.

Abstract
A major goal of the combined effort of basic scientists and plastic and reconstructive surgeons is the development of novel bone substitutes based on osteogenic growth and differentiation factors with optimal delivery systems for skeletal repair. Osteogenin is a protein initiator of bone differentiation. The present study examined the osteogenic potential of osteogenin in combination with porous hydroxyapatite replicas obtained after hydrothermal conversion of calcium carbonate exoskeletons of corals. Bovine osteogenin, with an apparent molecular weight of 28 to 42 kDa, purified by hydroxyapatite-Ultrogel adsorption chromatography, heparin-Sepharose affinity chromatography, and HR Sephacryl S-200 molecular sieve chromatography, was delivered into rods of nonresorbable and resorbable hydroxyapatite replicas with an average porosity of 600 microns. A total of 48 rods were bioassayed for osteogenic activity by intramuscular implantation into eight adult baboons (Papio ursinus) as a prerequisite for clinical trials in humans. Bovine osteogenin fractions reconstituted with baboon insoluble collagenous bone matrix were implanted in an additional four adult baboons. Specimens were harvested at 30 and 90 days after implantation and subjected to histomorphometry and alkaline phosphatase activity determination. Differentiation of bone occurred in nonresorbable hydroxyapatite rods, both osteogenin-treated and controls. However, no bone formation was observed in resorbable rods, even in the presence of osteogenin. These results demonstrate that the surface and chemical characteristics of the substratum, independent of the osteogenic stimulus, have a profound influence on the morphogenesis of bone. The demonstration of bone induction in nonhuman primates with porous nonresorbable hydroxyapatite replicas and baboon insoluble collagenous bone matrix reconstituted with bovine osteogenin establishes the therapeutic potential of the principle of bone induction in craniofacial, periodontal, and orthopedic reconstructive surgery.
