Abstract
Respiratory diseases constitute a major health challenge for the worldwide pork industry. Porcine enzootic pneumonia (PES) is caused by Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae (Mhyo). Mycoplasmas have the ability to produce extracellular vesicles (EVs), which can be useful for pathogenicity studies and as delivery systems for vaccines. The aim of this study was to demonstrate and compare, under laboratory conditions, EVs produced by Mhyo strain J and wild isolate in stressed and non-stressed in vitro conditions. Using differential centrifugation, density gradient ultracentrifugation, and transmission electron microscopy, the ability of Mhyo strains to produce EVs was demonstrated under favorable and unfavorable conditions.

Abstract
Porcine circovirus 3 (PCV3) is a recently discovered virus that has been detected in the swine population worldwide. PCV3 infection has been associated with several signs, but its pathogenicity is currently uncertain. This review article aimed to analyse the PCV3 strains that circulate in different countries in North and South America. We demonstrated the main regions of polymorphisms in the capsid protein structure. Furthermore, we found that PCV3 has at least six different lineages circulating in the Americas. Additional studies are required to determine the role of PCV3 in different clinical syndromes and its epidemiology in swine herds in North and South American countries.

Abstract
Picobirnavirus (PBV) is a small two-segmented double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) virus that has been identified in diarrheic feces of a large range
of animal hosts, including humans. For this reason, PBV has been recognized as an opportunistic agent of gastrointestinal disease. Even under these
circumstances, there is a lack of studies regarding this pathogen. Not outstanding, in Brazil, the single description of the PBV occurrence in pigs was provided
in the 1980s. Hence, this study aimed to verify the PBV occurrence in Brazilian swine farms and to perform molecular characterization of the identified strains.
High genetic variability was found in the analyzed sequences. Further studies comprehending the infection of swine by PBV in Brazilian herds should be performed
to provide more accurate information on its epidemiology and to discuss the role of the virus in gastrointestinal diseases.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Porcine enzootic pneumonia is a worldwide problem in swine production. The infected host demonstrates a respiratory disease whose etiologic agent is Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae (Mhp). A total of 266 lung samples with Mycoplasma-like lesions were collected from two slaughterhouses. We analyzed the genetic profile of Mhp field samples using 16 genes that encode proteins involved in the mechanisms of bacterial pathogenesis and/or the immune responses of the host. Bioinformatic analyses were performed to classify the Mhp field samples based on their similarity according to the presence of the studied genes. RESULTS Our results showed variations in the frequency of the 16 studied genes among different Mhp field samples. It was also noted that samples from the same farm were genetically different from each other and samples from different regions could be genetically similar, which is evidence of the presence of different genetic profiles among the Mhp field strains that circulate in Brazilian swine herds. CONCLUSION This work demonstrated the genetic diversity of several Mhp field strains based on 16 selected genes related to virulence and/or immune response in Brazil. Our findings demonstrate the difference between Mhp field strains could influence the virulence, and we hypothesize that the most frequent genes in Mhp field strains could possibly be used as vaccine candidates. Based on our results, we suspect that Mhp genetic variability may be associated with the frequency of genes among the field strains and we have demonstrated that some Mhp field samples could not have many important genes described in the literature.

Abstract
The Feline coronavirus (FCoV) can lead to Feline infectious peritonitis (FIP), which the precise cause is still unknown. The theory of internal mutation suggests that a less virulent biotype of FCoV (FECV) would lead to another more pathogenic biotype (FIPV) capable of causing FIP. In this work, the 7b gene was amplified from 51 domestic cat plasma samples by semi-nested PCR and tested through phylogenetic and phylogeographical approaches. The 7b gene of Brazilian isolates displayed high conservation, a strong correlation between the geographic origin of the viral isolates and their genealogy, and its evolution was possibly shaped by a combination of high rates of nucleotide substitution and purifying selection.

Abstract
Porcine circovirus 3 (PCV3) is an emerging virus that was first identified in the United States in 2016. Since its first detection, PCV3 has already been found in America, Asia, and Europe. Although PCV3 has already been described in Brazil, knowledge of its detection and sequence variation before 2016 is limited, as well as its distribution in the main swine producing regions of Brazil. In this study, 67 porcine clinical samples collected from nine states in Brazil between 2006 and 2007 were analyzed for PCV3 infection by PCR. Results showed that 47.8% of the samples were PCV3 positive, across all nine states. Of the PCV3-positive samples, 37.5% were also positive for PCV2. Interestingly, no clinical signs were associated with samples that were detected singularly with PCV3 infection. Moreover, the positive PCV3 rate in healthy pigs was higher (29.8%) than that found in unhealthy pigs (17.9%), suggesting that most pigs could live with PCV3 infection without any clinical sign in the analyzed samples. Nucleotide sequence analysis showed that PCV3 strains obtained in this study shared 94.44% to 99.83% sequence identity at the open reading frame 2 (ORF2) gene level with available strains from different countries. PCV3 Brazilian sequences collected in 2006 and 2007 shared 97.94% to 99.62% identity with the strains obtained in 2016. The results of neutrality and selective pressure tests indicated that the PCV3 Cap protein seems unable to tolerate high levels of variation on its sequence. Phylogenetic analysis grouped the Brazilian strains in PCV3a and PCV3b genotypes clusters, both including strains collected in America, Asia, and Europe. Taking the results together, multiple events of introduction of PCV3 may have occurred in Brazil, and Brazilian PCV3 strains may show genetic stability over the past 10 years.
