Abstract
Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) are extensively used as flame retardants in plastics but have emerged as persistent environmental pollutants due to their bioaccumulation and toxicity. Analysis of 74 studies from 2000 to 2024 highlights the increasing research interest in PBDE contamination, particularly in aquatic ecosystems and bivalves. Recurring themes such as "health risk," "bioaccumulation," and "risk assessment" dominate the discourse, emphasizing the need for deeper investigations into PBDE pathways and impacts. This trend underscores the critical importance of evaluating PBDE contamination in seafood species like oysters, mussels and clams, which are integral to human diets and aquatic food chains. Building on these insights, this study focused on analyzing PBDEs and their metabolites (MeO-BDE, OH-BDE) in commonly consumed bivalve species. Advanced methods for extraction, purification and simultaneous analysis revealed significant variations in PBDE concentrations: oysters (29-101 ng/g lw), mussels (10-274.8 ng/g lw) and clams (23-64,900 ng/g lw). Notably, metabolites MeO-BDE and OH-BDE were frequently detected, sometimes surpassing PBDE levels, indicating complex bioaccumulation processes. Bioaccumulation and bio-sediment accumulation factors (BAF and BSAF) showed that PBDEs and their metabolites accumulate more effectively through water pathways than sediment. Trophic magnification factor (TMF) analysis further revealed higher TMF values for PBDEs compared to their metabolites, categorizing PBDEs and MeO-BDE as low-risk TMFs. These findings align with citation analysis trends, which emphasize "risk assessment" as a pivotal theme, particularly concerning human exposure. The human health risk assessment based on bivalve consumption highlights potential exposure concerns in regions with high seafood intake. This study not only enriches the understanding of PBDE distribution and bioaccumulation in bivalves but also emphasizes the importance of effective monitoring, regulatory control and continued investigation into their ecological and human health impacts.

Abstract
This study presents the results of a seven-month testing of a pilot-scale ozonation system as a quaternary treatment of effluent from the WWTP in Blansko city (Czechia) with a focus on real-time control of ozonation technology based on the measurement of UV absorbance at wavelength 254 nm (UV254). The study investigated the effect of ozonation on 38 pharmaceuticals (PHAs) that were commonly found in Blansko WWTP effluent. Moreover, the method of ensuring a stable reduction of selected watchlist of PHAs in fluctuating conditions was investigated by evaluating UV254. During testing, an ozone dose of 0.8 mg O3/mg TOC was sufficient to reach 80 % overall removal of all investigated PHAs on average. It is necessary to mention that this sufficient dose only applies to the investigated set of pharmaceutical substances and might differ significantly for other sets of pharmaceuticals or different locations. The use of UV254 absorbance and its relative decrease during ozonation correlated to a stable and reasonably accurate monitoring of the actual level of PHAs removal of investigated/targeted PHAs. Estimating actual levels of reduction of evaluated substances in routine operation will significantly simplify operation, reduce the costs of analytical analyses and ensure compliance with required limits.

Abstract
Wastewater is a major source of contamination and must be treated before it is discharged into rivers and lakes. Water contaminated with emerging pollutants such as micropollutants, pharmaceuticals, endocrine disruptors (EDs), pesticides, synthetic dyes, toxins and hormones is of major concern due to its potential adverse effects. The accumulation of such pollutants can disbalance trophic levels and has negative ecological impacts and possible health risks. Monitoring and detecting these contaminants is essential for effective mitigation. Ongoing research on emerging contaminants drives the development of new analytical techniques and technologies for detection, monitoring and removal of such contaminants. As the demand for sustainable wastewater management increases, both conventional and advanced detection methods can be practised as treatment strategies. This approach enhances our capacity to detect and measure contaminants in environmental samples, leading to the development of more effective treatment methods. This review provides important insights into different classes of emerging contaminants, their sources as well as environmental and health risks associated with these pollutants. It also examines the major conventional and advanced technologies used to manage emerging contaminants.

Abstract
Emerging contaminants have become a global concern in recent years. Ozonation is an effective treatment for their degradation. However, it may generate toxic by-products under certain conditions. Catalytic ozonation is an option for improved contaminant oxidation, which can be enhanced by incorporating a filtering membrane, adding the advantages of retaining molecules, ions, and colloids. Recent studies have demonstrated the catalytic potential of a nanofiltration membrane functionalized with a thin layer of mesoporous maghemite (γ-Fe2O3). However, they have not tested its efficiency in real environmental matrices. In this study, the efficiency of a ceramic membrane functionalized with maghemite was tested for the removal of seven contaminants (carbamazepine, acetaminophen, sulfamethoxazole, caffeine, sodium diclofenac, diuron, and ketoprofen). The performance of ozonation and nanofiltration and the combination of both, with and without the functionalized γ-Fe2O3 layer, were compared for ultrapure water and secondary effluent with contaminants at a concentration of 0.5 mgL-1. The coupling of ozonation and functionalized membrane had around 20% higher removal for the most resistant compounds, using 70% less ozone than the configuration that used a commercial membrane. Although the initial samples did not show toxicity, there was an emergence and growth of toxicity, possibly due to the formation of toxic by-products.

Abstract
The environmental crisis was brought on by composites made of synthetic materials that are not biodegradable. Eco-friendly replacement materials for non-biodegradable composites is biodegradable composites. The poisonous remnants are avoided because of how the environment breaks them down. Biodegradable polymers are quickly broken down by bacterial breakdown. Smart packaging has been created to enable consumers to comprehend food conditions in real-time due to the growth of new technologies and consumer desire for wholesome and safe foods. This review highlights and discusses the development, type, and direction of research progress of chitosan research in the application of smart packaging, using bibliometric analysis with time intervals from 2006 to 2023. In 2006, this research began to be developed with India, China, the United States, Iran, and Egypt as the five most influential countries. From the results of keyword analysis, it was found that in addition to studying the general characteristics of smart packaging, there are currently many developments related to smart packaging materials and the effect of adding other materials to the film. The keyword analysis also revealed the current trends and future directions of chitosan research in smart packaging applications, providing valuable insights for researchers and professionals.

Abstract
Given the rapid development and widespread application of the cooperative economy, an in-depth understanding and continuous focus on its research has become necessary. This study utilizes bibliometric analysis tools, CiteSpace and Bibliometrix, along with visualization techniques, to systematically analyze the progression and trends in cooperative economy research. Each of these tools has its unique advantages and functionalities that supplement each other in the application of bibliometric analysis, enhancing the comprehensiveness and effectiveness of the research. The aim of this study is to reveal the core themes, knowledge structure, and academic influence of cooperative economy research, providing valuable insights and references for future studies. Furthermore, this study explores the application and combination of CiteSpace and Bibliometrix in bibliometric analysis, offering a new perspective for research methodology. The findings are anticipated to contribute to the further development of cooperative economy research, providing theoretical and practical references for the sustainable development of society and economy.

Abstract
Microalgal phytoremediation is a promising bioremediation approach that can achieve significant resource recovery while effectively removing pollutants. However, the toxicity of some pollutants in wastewater often induces stress responses in microalgae, reducing their pollutant removal efficiency. Recently, phytohormones have been identified as a novel solution to reduce these stress responses, enhancing microalgae growth and improving their ability to remove various pollutants from wastewater. This advancement significantly boosts the efficiency and viability of microalgal phytoremediation. In this paper, the pathways and challenges related to microalgal phytoremediation were systematically analyzed. On this basis, the promoting effects of phytohormones on the removal of nutrients, heavy metals, and emerging contaminants by microalgae and the related mechanisms were discussed. Additionally, the review also discusses the optimal use strategy of phytohormones, the ecological risks that may be faced in the use of phytohormones, and the feasible strategies to control the use cost of phytohormones. The goal is to provide insights and guidance for future research on the application of phytohormones in microalgal phytoremediation.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (POI) is the most common reproductive aging disorder in women of reproductive age, which is characterized by decreased ovarian function in women before the age of 40. Etiology research of POI has garnered interest and attention from scholars worldwide over the past decades. METHODS However, to the best of our knowledge, no comprehensive survey with bibliometric analysis has been conducted yet on the research trends of POI etiology. This article aimed to analyze current scientific findings on the etiology of POI, offering innovative ideas for further research. Research articles on the etiology of POI from 1994 to 2023 were collected from the Web of Science Core Collection. A total of 456 research articles were included, and the total number of publications increased annually. We used VOSviewer and bibliometric.com to analyze the keywords, terms, institution, publication country/region, author name, publication journal, and the sum of times the articles have been cited. RESULTS This study has shown that a research hotspot is the genetic etiology of POI; however, there is still a lack of research on the impact of epigenetic alterations, iatrogenic injuries, environmental pollution, social stress, and unhealthy lifestyles on the pathogenesis of POI. CONCLUSION The factors illustrated here represent potential future directions for POI etiology research and warrant more attention from researchers.

Abstract
Environmental risk is one of the world's most significant threats, projected to be the leading risk over the next decade. It has garnered global attention due to increasingly severe environmental issues, such as climate change and ecosystem degradation. Research and technology on environmental risks are gradually developing, and the scope of environmental risk study is also expanding. Here, we developed a tailored bibliometric method, incorporating co-occurrence network analysis, cluster analysis, trend factor analysis, patent primary path analysis, and patent map methods, to explore the status, hotspots, and trends of environment risk research over the past three decades. According to the bibliometric results, the publications and patents related to environmental risk have reached explosive growth since 2018. The primary topics in environmental risk research mainly involve (a) ecotoxicology risk of emerging contaminants (ECs), (b) environmental risk induced by climate change, (c) air pollution and health risk assessment, (d) soil contamination and risk prevention, and (e) environmental risk of heavy metal. Recently, the hotspots of this field have shifted into artificial intelligence (AI) based techniques and environmental risk of climate change and ECs. More research is needed to assess ecological and health risk of ECs, to formulize mitigation and adaptation strategies for climate change risks, and to develop AI-based environmental risk assessment and control technology. This study provides the first comprehensive overview of recent advances in environmental risk research, suggesting future research directions based on current understanding and limitations.

Abstract
Pharmaceuticals and personal care products (PPCPs) in wastewater pose significant threats to both human health and aquatic ecosystems. Wastewater discharge from various sources is the primary cause of these contaminants, and proper treatment is essential for protecting the environment. Traditional treatment technologies are often too expensive and ineffective in removing PPCPs. Constructed wetlands (CWs) offer a sustainable, cost-efficient alternative for wastewater treatment, though their capability to eliminate PPCPs can vary based on multiple aspects. Recent studies highlight biochar-a carbon-rich material resultant from biomass pyrolysis-as a promising amendment to improve CW performance. However, there is a deficiency of proper literature reviews on using biochar in CWs specifically for PPCP removal. This review focuses on biochar's role in CWs and its effectiveness in removing PPCPs and enhancing microbial activity and nutrient cycling. A bibliometric analysis using Vosviewer software was used to assess the current research trends in the biochar-amended CWs to attenuate PPCPs. While biochar shows potential in eliminating PPCPs, challenges, such as optimizing its application and addressing long-term operational concerns for treating emerging pollutants like PPCPs. Future research should enhance biochar production and low-cost techniques for diverse groups of PPCPs and perform field trials to validate laboratory results under actual conditions exploring microbial-biochar and plant-biochar interactions. Addressing these challenges is crucial to advancing biochar-amended CWs and enhancing wastewater treatment on a global scale.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Researchers gradually focus on the relationship between phage and cancer. OBJECTIVE To summarize the research hotspots and trends in the field of bacteriophage and cancer. METHODS The downloaded articles were searched from the Web of Science Core Collection database from January 2008 to June 2023. Bibliometric analysis was carried out through CiteSpace, including the analysis of cooperative networks (country/region, institution, and author), co-citations of references, and key words.Visual analysis of three topics, including gut phage, phage and bacteria, and phage and tumor, was conducted. RESULTS Overall, the United States and China have the most phage-related research. In terms of gut phage, the future research directions are "gut microbiome", "database" and "microbiota". The bursting citations explored the phage-dominated viral genome to discover its diversity and individual specificity and investigated associations among bacteriome, metabolome, and virome. In terms of phage and bacteria, "lipopolysaccharide" and "microbiota" are future research directions. Future research hotspots should mainly concentrate on the further exploration and application of phage properties. As for phages and tumors, the future research directions should be "colorectal cancer", "protein" and "phage therapy". Future directions are likely to focus on the research on phages in cancer mechanisms, cancer diagnosis, and cancer treatment combined with genetic engineering techniques. CONCLUSION Phage therapy would become a hot spot and research direction of tumor and phage research, and the relationship between phage and tumor, especially colorectal cancer (CRC), is expected to be further explored.

Abstract
Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are robust, crystalline, and porous materials featured by their superior CO2 adsorption capacity, tunable energy band structure, and enhanced photovoltaic conversion efficiency, making them highly promising for photocatalytic CO2 reduction reaction (PCO2RR). This study presents a comprehensive examination of the advancements in MOFs-based PCO2RR field spanning the period from 2011 to 2023. Employing bibliometric analysis, the paper scrutinizes the widely adopted terminology and citation patterns, elucidating trends in publication, leading research entities, and the thematic evolution within the field. The findings highlight a period of rapid expansion and increasing interdisciplinary integration, with extensive international and institutional collaboration. A notable emphasis on significant research clusters and key terminologies identified through co-occurrence network analysis, highlighting predominant research on MOFs such as UiO, MIL, ZIF, porphyrin-based MOFs, their composites, and the hybridization with photosensitizers and molecular catalysts. Furthermore, prospective design approaches for catalysts are explored, encompassing single-atom catalysts (SACs), interfacial interaction enhancement, novel MOF constructions, biocatalysis, etc. It also delves into potential avenues for scaling these materials from the laboratory to industrial applications, underlining the primary technical challenges that need to be overcome to facilitate the broader application and development of MOFs-based PCO2RR technologies.

Abstract
Background This study conducts a bibliometric literature analysis to explore trends in immunotherapy for ovarian cancer from 2019 to 2023. Methods An extensive online literature search was conducted in the Web of Science Core Collection database to identify English-language articles and reviews related to "trends in immunotherapy", and "ovarian cancer". statistical analysis was performed using VOSviewer to visualize and compare nations, institutions, and journals simultaneously. Results Our findings highlight contributions by 118 nations, led by the People's Republic of China with 3,167 contributions; Germany followed with 558 and Italy having 547. Of all publications made between 2019-2023, "Frontiers Immunology" had the most publications with 546 total records followed by "cancers ", and "frontiers in oncology" being the most heavily relied upon categories. Annually publication trends increased until 2022 but then declined considerably as a peak of highly-cited papers occurring between 2019 and 2022. Conclusions Our bibliometric analysis not only maps the evolution of immunotherapy research in ovarian cancer but also provides actionable insights for advancing scientific progress. By identifying emerging trends and key areas, future research can strategically enhance treatment strategies and outcomes for ovarian cancer patients.

Abstract
The ketamine (KET) and its analogs consumed by humans are becoming emerging contaminants (ECs), as they at present in surface waters after being carried through wastewater systems. Drugs in wastewater can be analyzed using the direct-injection method, a simple wastewater analysis (WWA) method that can provide objective, continuous and nearly to real-time findings. This article describes an ultra-high-pressure liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS) method for the simultaneous quantification and confirmation of seven KET-based ECs in wastewater by direct injection. After optimization of the UPLC-MS/MS and sample pretreatment conditions, the method was validated and applied to samples (n = 157) collected from several wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) in southern China in which KET had the highest detection rate. The established direct-injection method was not only simple to perform but also had better sensitivity, shorter detection times, and analyzed more KET-based ECs than currently published methods, meeting the requirements for the monitoring and high-throughput analysis of common KET-based ECs. We also analyzed the fragmentation pathway of KET-based ECs to obtain product ion information on other unknown substances. Additional studies are needed to establish a comprehensive direct-injection screening method of ECs in wastewater on model-based assessment.

Abstract
Research purpose This study aims to outline the fundamental status of the German academic community's research in the field of renewable energy and to foster collaboration between China and Germany in this area. Research methods This study examines documents published by German scholars from 2008 to 2023, which are part of the "Web of Science (WOS) Core Collection" database and related to renewable energy issues, using the bibliometric visualization tool CiteSpace 6.2.R6. Research conclusions The study examines the co-occurrence and burst of keywords, changes in publication volume, international collaboration networks, research institution collaboration networks, and researcher collaboration networks. It concluded that: (1) German academic research in the field of renewable energy can be divided into three phases: nascent (2008-2014), surge (2015-2021), and decline (2022-2023). (2) The Helmholtz Association and Reinhard Madlener, among other prominent institutions and academicians, are responsible for the close cooperation among personnel and institutions, the significant leading effect, and the emphasis on cutting-edge topics. Research in this field notably focuses on cutting-edge issues like life cycle assessment and developing countries. The study observes a transition in research concentration from macro to micro perspectives. In the context of a global collective response to climate change, the analysis of the German academic community's overall situation will enhance the collaboration between the two countries in the field of renewable energy research.

Abstract
Background In the study of atrial fibrillation (AF), a prevalent cardiac arrhythmia, the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) in diagnostic and therapeutic strategies holds the potential to address existing limitations. This research employs bibliometrics to objectively investigate research hotspots, development trends, and existing issues in the application of AI within the AF field, aiming to provide targeted recommendations for relevant researchers. Methods Relevant publications on the application of AI in AF field were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) database from 2013 to 2023. The bibliometric analysis was conducted by the R (4.2.2) "bibliometrix" package and VOSviewer(1.6.19). Results Analysis of 912 publications reveals that the field of AI in AF is currently experiencing rapid development. The United States, China, and the United Kingdom have made outstanding contributions to this field. Acharya UR is a notable contributor and pioneer in the area. The following topics have been elucidated: AI's application in managing the risk of AF complications is a hot mature topic; AI-electrocardiograph for AF diagnosis and AI-assisted catheter ablation surgery are the emerging and booming topics; smart wearables for real-time AF monitoring and AI for individualized AF medication are niche and well-developed topics. Conclusion This study offers comprehensive analysis of the origin, current status, and future trends of AI applications in AF, aiming to advance the development of the field.

Abstract
This manuscript delves into the realm of wastewater treatment, with a particular emphasis on anaerobic fermentation processes, especially dark, photo, and dark-photo fermentation processes, which have not been covered and overviewed previously in the literature regarding the treatment of wastewater. Moreover, the study conducts a bibliometric analysis for the first time to elucidate the research landscape of anaerobic fermentation utilization in wastewater purification. Furthermore, microorganisms, ranging from microalgae to bacteria and fungi, emphasizing the integration of these agents for enhanced efficiency, are all discussed and compared. Various bioreactors, such as dark and photo fermentation bioreactors, including tubular photo bioreactors, are scrutinized for their design and operational intricacies. The results illustrated that using clostridium pasteurianum CH4 and Rhodopseudomonas palustris WP3-5 in a combined dark-photo fermentation process can treat wastewater to a pH of nearly 7 with over 90% COD removal. Also, integrating Chlorella sp and Activated sludge can potentially treat synthetic wastewater to COD, P, and N percentage removal rates of 99%,86%, and 79%, respectively. Finally, the paper extends to discuss the limitations and future prospects of dark-photo fermentation processes, offering insights into the road ahead for researchers and scientists.

Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) offers transformative potential for chemical research through its ability to optimize reactions and processes, enhance energy efficiency, and reduce waste. AI-assisted chemical research (AI + chem) has become a global hotspot. To better understand the current research status of "AI + chem", this study conducted a scientific bibliometric investigation using CiteSpace. The web of science core collection was utilized to retrieve original articles related to "AI + chem" published from 2000 to 2024. The obtained data allowed for the visualization of the knowledge background, current research status, and latest knowledge structure of "AI + chem". The "AI + chem" has entered a stage of explosive growth, and the number of papers will maintain long-term high-speed growth. This article systematically analyzes the latest progress in "AI + chem" and objectively predicts future trends, including molecular design, reaction prediction, materials design, drug design, and quantum chemistry. The outcomes of this study will provide readers with a comprehensive understanding of the overall landscape of "AI + chem".

Abstract
This paper aims to emphasize the occurrence of various emerging contaminant (EC) mixtures in natural ecosystems and highlights the primary concern arising from the unregulated release into soil and water, along with their impacts on human health. Emerging contaminant mixtures, including pharmaceuticals, personal care products, dioxins, polychlorinated biphenyls, pesticides, antibiotics, biocides, surfactants, phthalates, enteric viruses, and microplastics (MPs), are considered toxic contaminants with grave implications. MPs play a crucial role in transporting pollutants to aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems as they interact with the various components of the soil and water environments. This review summarizes that major emerging contaminants (ECs), like trimethoprim, diclofenac, sulfamethoxazole, and 17α-Ethinylestradiol, pose serious threats to public health and contribute to antimicrobial resistance. In addressing human health concerns and remediation techniques, this review critically evaluates conventional methods for removing ECs from complex matrices. The diverse physiochemical properties of surrounding environments facilitate the partitioning of ECs into sediments and other organic phases, resulting in carcinogenic, teratogenic, and estrogenic effects through active catalytic interactions and mechanisms mediated by aryl hydrocarbon receptors. The proactive toxicity of ECs mixture complexation and, in part, the yet-to-be-identified environmental mixtures of ECs represent a blind spot in current literature, necessitating conceptual frameworks for assessing the toxicity and risks with individual components and mixtures. Lastly, this review concludes with an in-depth exploration of future scopes, knowledge gaps, and challenges, emphasizing the need for a concerted effort in managing ECs and other organic pollutants.

Abstract
Cell-cultured meat holds significant environmental value as an alternative protein source. Throughout the 21st century, cell-cultured meat has progressively penetrated commercial markets. However, a systematic review encompassing the entire field needs improvement. Employing Citespace, Vosviewer, and R-Bibliometrix software, a bibliometric analysis was used to present the research progress and general development trends of 484 articles on cell-cultured meat from 2000 to 2022 based on countries, authors, institutions, and keywords. This analysis provides ideas for the future development of cell-cultured meat in different countries or regions worldwide. Research on cell-cultured meat from 2000 to 2022 has undergone two phases: fluctuating growth (2000-2013) and rapid growth (2013-2022). Noteworthy contributions to cell-cultured meat studies emerge from author groups in the United States of America, the United Kingdom, and China, with influential institutions like the University of Bath significantly impacting pertinent research. Furthermore, over the past two decades, research has leaned towards exploring topics such as "biomaterials", "cultured", "land use", "public opinion", "animal welfare", and "food safety". Furthermore, this study reveals differences in nomenclature between regions and institutions. "Cultured meat" is more popular in some countries than in other forms. Institutions in Asia use "cultured meat" more frequently; however, institutions in the Americas adopt "cultivated meat" and rarely adopt "in vitro meat", and institutions in the European region have no particularly prominent tendency towards a specific nomenclature. Future research should emphasize aligning the labeling of cell-cultured meat with effective management strategies and referencing regulatory policies across various countries. For the first time, we use three different bibliometric methods to analyze temporal and spatial variation in research on cellular meat. The results of this study have a multiplier effect. We provide a theoretical basis and a practical reference for the identification of alternatives in the dual context of "food crisis and food security" and "climate crisis". At the same time, we also provide a reference for the sustainable development of the food system.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Organophosphate flame retardants (OPFRs) are compounds with a wide range of industrial and commercial applications and are mainly used as flame retardants and plasticizers. The global consumption of OPFRs has risen rapidly in recent decades, and they have been widely detected in environmental media. Unfortunately, OPFRs have been associated with many adverse health outcomes. The issue of the health risks of OPFRs is attracting increasing attention. Therefore, there is a need to review the current state of research and trends in this field to help researchers and policymakers quickly understand the field, identify new research directions, and allocate appropriate resources for further development of the OPFR health risk research field. METHODS This study statistically analyzed 1162 relevant publications included in the Web of Science Core Collection from 2003-2023. The internal and external features of the literature, such as publication trends, countries, authors, journals, and keywords, were quantitatively analyzed and visually presented to identify the research hotspots, compositions, and paradigms of the field and to horizontally and vertically analyze the development trends and structural evolution of the field. RESULTS The development of the field can be divided into three stages, and the field entered a period of rapid development in 2016. China (649 papers) is the most prolific country, followed by the United States (188 papers). The authors STAPLETON HM and WANG Y have the highest combined impact. International collaboration between countries and researchers still needs to be strengthened. Science of The Total Environment is the most frequently published journal (162 papers), and Environmental Science and Technology is the most frequently cited journal (5285 citations). Endocrine disruption, developmental toxicity, and neurotoxicity are the health effects of greatest interest. CONCLUSIONS Future research is expected to be multidisciplinary, and research hotspots may involve a comprehensive assessment of OPFR exposure in the population, exploration of the mechanisms of endocrine-disrupting effects and in vivo metabolic processes, and examination of the health effects of OPFR metabolites.

Abstract
Background Dysphagia, or difficulty swallowing, is a prevalent complication of Parkinson's disease (PD), which can significantly impair quality of life. Despite the numerous studies on dysphagia in PD published in various journals, there remains a dearth of bibliometric analysis within this domain. This study thus aims to examine the global patterns of research on dysphagia after PD over the past 20 years, employing a visual analysis. Material and methods This investigation aimed to gather pertinent publications concerning dysphagia in PD from the SCI-Expanded database of the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC), covering the period from 2002 to 2022. To dissect and visually represent the collated corpus, we harnessed the capacities of CiteSpace, VOSviewer and R software for meticulous bibliometric scrutiny. Results The bibliometric study encompassed a total of 692 publications. Within the scope of autocratic nations, the USA emerged as the leading country in the quantity of research outputs. The University of Florida stood out as the most prolific academic entity, with Troche MS being the foremost author, contributing to 21 publications. The journal "Dysphagia" featured as the prime venue for publication. Key trending terms identified over the last 20 years include "Parkinson's disease," "dysphagia," "oropharyngeal dysphagia," and "prevalence." Conclusion Bibliometric analysis on dysphagia in PD offers a detailed overview of the development of scholarly publications, enabling scholars to grasp the current state of research within their field. It also serves as a benchmark for shaping future research directions.

Abstract
Objective The aim of this study was to examine the characteristics of scientific production related to the use of filtered water in the field of dentistry. Material and Methods. A quantitative and descriptive observational study was carried out with a scientometric approach. Data were collected from the Web of Science (WOS) database during the period January 1991 to December 2023. A search strategy incorporating a combination of MeSH terms, including terms and thesauri related to "filtered water" and "dentistry", was used. R Studio version 4.3.2 and CiteSpace 6.2.R7 were used for data analysis. Results Over the 32-year study period, 227 scholarly papers from 134 different sources were reviewed. The literature in this field has shown an annual growth rate of 10.44%. During the year 2010, a steady movement in the number of publications and authors was observed, with considerable collaborative interaction. In the year 2020, a large interaction between publications and their citations was found. The "Citation Burst" graph identified three references that have experienced the largest "burst" of citations in an evaluated period. Lotka's law described the productivity of authors, finding that most authors have published only one paper, while a smaller number of authors have published two papers. Most authors contributed a small number of articles, while a few authors contributed a large amount of the existing literature. Conclusion A comprehensive overview of the scientific production related to the use of filtered water in dentistry over a span of 32 years is provided. The results highlight the growing interdisciplinarity and international collaboration in this field. Finally, the importance of filtered water in dentistry and its growing relevance in the scientific literature are emphasized.

Abstract
The SARS-CoV-2 pandemic caused changes in the consumption of prescribed/non-prescribed drugs and the population's habits, influencing the detection and concentration of emerging contaminants (ECs) in sanitary sewage and harming environmental and health risks. Therefore, the present work sought to discuss current literature data on the effects of the "COVID-19 pandemic factor" on the quality of raw sewage produced over a five-year period (2018-2019: pre-pandemic; 2020-2022: during the pandemic) and biological, physical, chemical and hybrid treatment technologies, influencing factors in the removal of ECs and potential ecological risks (RQs). Seven hundred thirty-one publications correlating sewage and COVID-19 were identified: 184 pre-pandemic and 547 during the pandemic. Eight classes and 37 ECs were detected in sewage between 2018 and 2022, with the "COVID-19 pandemic factor" promoting an increase in estrogens (+31,775 %), antibiotics (+19,544 %), antiepileptics and antipsychotics (+722 %), pesticides (+200 %), analgesics, anti-inflammatories and anticoagulants (+173 %), and stimulant medications (+157 %) in sanitary sewage. Among the treatment systems, aerated reactors integrated into biomembranes removed >90 % of cephalexin, clarithromycin, ibuprofen, estrone, and 17β-estradiol. The absorption, adsorption, and biodegradation mechanisms of planted wetland systems contributed to better cost-benefit in reducing the polluting load of sewage ECs in the COVID-19 pandemic, individually or integrated into the WWTP. The COVID-19 pandemic factor increased the potential ecological risks (RQs) for aquatic organisms by 40 %, with emphasis on clarithromycin and sulfamethoxazole, which changed from negligible risk and low risk to (very) high risk and caffeine with RQ > 2500. Therefore, it is possible to suggest that the COVID-19 pandemic intensified physiological, metabolic, and physical changes to different organisms in aquatic biota by ECs during 2020 and 2022.

Abstract
Adipose-derived stem cell-conditioned medium (ADSC-CM) has been widely studied and used as a stem cell-based cell-free therapy. Due to the explosion of scientific publications in this field, it is difficult to review all relevant publications systematically, not mention quantitively. In this study, we combined bibliometrics with the conventional review method to summarize, analyze, and visualize the characteristics of nearly all published articles related to ADSC-CM using CiteSpace-a bibliometrics software. We applied this software to quantitively and vividly show (a) annual publications and citations; (b) distributions and co-occurrence networks of countries/regions, authors, journals, and institutions; (c) keyword co-occurrence networks and clusters in different time periods; (d) cocitation networks of references; and (e) ongoing challenges and new topics in ADSC-CM. Altogether, we found that ADSC-CM is at a hot stage with an increasing number of publications and citations, extensive and close scientific collaborations, and dense cocited networks. Impact statement To our best knowledge, it is the first bibliometric and visualized review in the field of adipose-derived stem cell-conditioned medium (ADSC-CM). This review systematically and quantitatively revealed the developments, challenges, and emerging hot spots of ADSC-CM, providing a panoramic view to assist researchers to decide the direction of their future study in the fields of ADSCs and CM derived from stem cells.

Abstract
Artificial chemical products are widely used and ubiquitous worldwide and pose a threat to the environment and human health. Accumulating epidemiological and toxicological evidence has elucidated the contributions of environmental chemical contaminants to the incidence and development of chronic diseases that have a negative impact on quality of life or may be life-threatening. However, the pathways of exposure to these chemicals and their involvements in chronic diseases remain unclear. We comprehensively reviewed the research progress on the exposure risks of humans to environmental contaminants, their body burden as indicated by blood monitoring, and the correlation of blood chemical contaminants with chronic diseases. After entering the human body through various routes of exposure, environmental contaminants are transported to target organs through blood circulation. The application of the modern analytical techniques based on human plasma or serum specimens is promising for determining the body burden of environmental contaminants, including legacy persistent organic pollutants, emerging pollutants, and inorganic elements. Furthermore, their body burden, as indicated by blood monitoring correlates with the incidence and development of metabolic syndromes, cancers, chronic nervous system diseases, cardiovascular diseases, and reproductive disorders. On this basis, we highlight the urgent need for further research on environmental pollution causing health problems in humans.

Abstract
Watermelon is an important horticultural plant. A bibliometric analysis of the watermelon literature was carried out in order to analyze the research state, hotspots, and trends, as well as to highlight the overall watermelon research development from a holistic viewpoint. The summary of watermelon research is given via metrological analysis based on a set of indices using a newly built Bibliometrix R-package tool. This study gathered 6,632 documents indexed in the Core Collection of Web of Science (WoS) in the domain of watermelon from 1992 to 2022 using bibliometrix. The results indicated that the number of published articles showed an apparently upward trend. The United States was in the first place, with Plant Disease being the most productive journal. Levi A from the United States Department of Agriculture-Agricultural Research Service is the most prolific author, and Levi A is the most cited; The most frequently used keywords by authors are "growth", "resistance", "identification", "yield", "quality" "plants", "watermelon stomach" and "expression"; The most talked-about issues in this subject are resistance, yield, and quality, which highlight the crucial research areas. To effectively comprehend the turning moments for future research, it is useful to monitor the hotspots and frontiers of watermelon studies. The results highlight the future paths for study in the field of watermelon and provide useful information for researchers interested in the topic.

Abstract
In recent years, extensive research has been conducted on bismuth tungstate (Bi2WO6) in the field of photocatalysis owing to its unique crystal structure and favorable bandgap. This study offers a comprehensive review of the research on Bi2WO6-based photocatalysts from 2007 to 2022 using bibliometric analysis. The analysis utilized the Web of Science Core Collection Database and encompassed a dataset of 2064 publications. The bibliometric analysis and science mapping were carried out using the bibliometix R-package and CiteSpace software. This analysis examined and discussed the network of relationships among countries, journals, organizations, authors, and keywords pertaining to the topic and subtopics under investigation. The findings demonstrate that China has played a significant role in this research area and has formed close collaborations with other countries. The identification of highly-cited emerging terms suggests that enhancing the photocatalytic performance of Bi2WO6-based nanomaterials is a primary research focus. Moreover, there has been increasing interest in exploring the synergistic effects of photocatalysis and adsorption as a means to improve catalytic efficiency. This study provides valuable insights for researchers seeking a deeper understanding of Bi2WO6-based photocatalysts.

Abstract
The generation of uranium-containing wastewater (UCW) during different stages of uranium mining, processing, and utilization presents a significant ecological and biospheric threat. Consequently, it is crucial for both sustainable development and the protection of human health to adopt appropriate methods for the treatment of UCW as well as the separation and enrichment of uranium. This study conducted a comprehensive search of the Web of Science Core Collection (WOSCC) database for publications related to UCW treatment between 1990 and 2022 to gain insight into current trends in the field. Subsequently, the annual publications, WOSCC categories, geographical distribution, major collaborations, prolific authors, influential journals, and highly cited publications were the subjects of a biliometric analysis that was subsequently carried out. The study findings indicate a significant rise in the overall number of publications in the research field between 1990 and 2022. China, India, and the USA emerged as the primary contributors in terms of publication count. The Chinese Academy of Sciences, the East China University of Technology, and the University of South China were identified as the key research institutions in this field. Furthermore, a majority of the publications in this field were distributed through prestigious journals with high impact factors, such as the Journal of Radioanalytical and Nuclear Chemistry. The top 3 journals were Radioanalytical and Nuclear Chemistry, Chemical Engineering Journal, and Journal of Hazardous Materials. The keyword co-occurrence and burst analysis revealed that the current research on UCW treatment mainly focuses on adsorption-based treatment methods, environmentally functional materials, uranium recovery, etc. Furthermore, the study of the adsorption efficiency of different adsorbent materials, as well as the strengthening and improvement of adsorbent material selectivity and capacity for the recovery of uranium, represents a research hotspot in the field of UCW treatment in the future. This study conducts a comprehensive overview of the current status and prospects of the UCW treatment, which can provide a valuable reference for gaining insights into the development trajectory of the UCW treatment.

Abstract
The incidence of postlaparoscopic shoulder pain has recently increased and has attracted increasing attention from clinical workers, but no study has performed bibliometric and visual analysis of the relevant literature. This study used bibliometric and visual analysis to conduct a comprehensive and systematic evaluation of postlaparoscopic shoulder pain to help researchers understand the latest global trends and hotspots and provide a reference for caregivers to carry out PLSP care interventions and research. Related studies on postlaparoscopic shoulder pain from 2003 to 2023 were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection. We analysed current research trends and hotspots in this field using VOSviewer and CiteSpace. A total of 2451 authors from 352 institutions in 50 countries published 464 studies related to postlaparoscopic shoulder pain. The United States was the country with the most publications and worked closely with other countries. Donmez Turgut was the researcher with the most published articles, while Bisgaard T had the most citations per article. The Journal of Surgical Endoscopy was cited most frequently, totalling 356 times. Through keyword significance analysis, we found that relieving postlaparoscopic shoulder pain in patients through integrated care interventions was an emerging research hotspot. This bibliometric and visual analysis provides a comprehensive review of studies related to postlaparoscopic shoulder pain. The current global research trend and hotspot is to alleviate postlaparoscopic shoulder pain through integrated care interventions, but the advantages of this approach are not outstanding. However, further research and global collaboration are still needed. Our findings can help researchers understand the current status of postlaparoscopic shoulder pain research and identify new directions for future research.

Abstract
To provide scholars with a quick understanding of the current status, research hotspots, and future trends in the field of mine ventilation, this paper conducted a visualized bibliometric analysis and a comprehensive review of mine ventilation-related literature from 2010 to 2023 using CiteSpace. A thorough analysis of the publication time, co-authorship, co-citation, keywords, and research topics of the literature was carried out. Based on this, through systematic literature reading and summarization, research topics in the field of mine ventilation were organized, analyzed, and classified. The results indicate that mine ventilation research from 2010 to 2023 went through three stages: stable development, slow growth, and rapid ascent. Nie Wen and China Univ Min & Technol were the most prolific authors and institutions in the field of mine ventilation. China had the highest number of publications during 2010-2023, while Canada and Poland exhibited the highest centrality, signifying their key roles in the mine ventilation domain. Deep mine ventilation and intelligent mine ventilation emerged as research hotspots and mainstream trends in the future. The analysis of multiple hazard coupling studies represents a research direction that mine ventilation needs to develop. Numerical simulation techniques should not be limited to static analysis, as dynamic simulation is a focal area of interest.

Abstract
Water and industries are intangible units of the globe that are always set to meet the population's demand. The global population depends on one-third of freshwater increasing the demand. The increase in population along with urbanization has polluted the fresh water resources. The pharmaceutical industry is marked as an emerging contaminant of water pollution. The most common type of pharmaceutical drugs that are detected in the environment includes antibiotics, analgesics, NSAIDs, and pain-relieving drugs. These drugs alter the food chain of the organisms causing chaos mainly in the marine ecosystem. Pharmaceutical drugs are found only in shallow amounts (ng/mg) they have a huge impact on the living system. The consumption of water contaminated with pharmaceutical ingredients can disrupt reproduction, hormonal imbalance, cancer, and respiratory problems. Various methods are used to remove these chemicals from the environment. In this review, we mainly focused on the emerging hybrid technologies and their significance in the effective treatment of pharmaceutical wastewater. This review paper primarily elaborates on the merits and demerits of existing conventional technologies helpful in developing integrated technologies for the modern era of pharmaceutical effluent treatment. This review paper further in detail discusses the various strategies of eco-friendly bioremediation techniques namely biostimulation, bioaugmentation, bacterial degradation, mycoremediation, phytoremediation, and others for the ultimate removal of pharmaceutical contaminants in wastewater. The review makes clear that targeted and hybrid solutions are what the world will require in the future to get rid of these pharmacological prints.

Abstract
This study delves into the contemporary landscape of potential financial inclusion in investment decision-making, leveraging bibliometric research methods. Analyzing 161 publications from the Scopus database (2006-2023), the authors employ performance analysis and scientific mapping tools, including VOSviewer and Biblioshiny R studio. Through co-citation analysis, bibliographic coupling, co-occurrence of keywords analysis, thematic mapping, and thematic evolution analysis, the study uncovers the essential characteristics of the research field. The Result underscores that Innovative financial technologies are positioned as enablers of financial inclusion, with fintech's potential to drive positive social impact. The findings underscore that fostering financial literacy, addressing challenges in fintech adoption, and supporting entrepreneurship are crucial for maximizing the benefits of financial technologies. Overall, the study advocates for a comprehensive approach that combines financial inclusion, individual attitudes, and expertise, and fintech innovation to enhance access to financial services and expand investment opportunities for a more inclusive and prosperous economic landscape. However, the study acknowledges limitations, such as reliance on a single database and exclusion of specific keywords, urging a more inclusive approach to ensure a comprehensive understanding of relevant literature in this dynamic field.

Abstract
This study utilizes bibliometric analysis to examine historical and present research patterns in the area of energy transition and green finance and to forecast potential future domains. Using the bibliometric method, 328 scholarly articles from the Web of Science database were evaluated. This paper identifies influential publications, maps the research landscape, and forecasts emerging tendencies through co-citation and co-word analyses. Co-citation analysis found three main clusters, while co-word analysis revealed four main clusters. Despite the growing significance of research on energy transition and green finance research, further in-depth investigation is necessary to offer a thorough depiction of the research domain. This research represents a pioneering endeavour in the utilization of bibliometric analysis to investigate the interrelationship between two items. It offers valuable insights into the rapidly expanding field of energy transition and green finance, effectively highlighting its contours and indicating potential future developments.

Abstract
Background Uterine leiomyosarcoma(uLMS) is a rare malignant tumor with low clinical specificity and poor prognosis.There are many studies related to uLMS, however, there is still a lack of metrological analyses with generalization. This study provides a bibliometric study of uLMS. Methods and materials We chose the Web of Science (WoS) as our main database due to its extensive interdisciplinary coverage. We specifically focused on the literature from the last 20 years to ensure relevance and practicality. By utilizing the WOS core dataset and leveraging the R package "bibliometric version 4.1.0" and Citespace, we performed a comprehensive bibliometric analysis. This allowed us to pinpoint research hotspots and create visual representations, resulting in the retrieval of 2489 pertinent articles. Results This literature review covers 2489 articles on uterine leiomyosarcoma (uLMS) from the past 20 years. Key findings include an average annual publication rate of 8.75, with a 6.07% yearly growth rate and an average citation count of 17.22. Core+Zone 2 sources contributed 1079 articles and 207 reviews, displaying a 4.98% annual growth rate. The analysis identified top journals, influential authors, and core sources, such as the prevalence of publications from the United States and the dominance of GYNECOLOGIC ONCOLOGY and HENSLEY ML. Bradford's Law and Lotka's Law highlighted core sources and author productivity, respectively. Thematic mapping and factorial analysis revealed research clusters, including etiology, diagnosis, treatment advancements, and surgical approaches, with prominent themes such as gemcitabine and docetaxel. Overall, this comprehensive analysis provides insights into uLMS literature trends and influential factors. Conclusion This thorough bibliometric analysis, in its whole, illuminates the field's guiding principles while also revealing the subtle patterns within the uLMS literature. The knowledge gained here contributes to the current discussion in uLMS and related scientific fields and provides a solid basis for future research paths.

Abstract
Waste-to-energy (WtE) technology is at the forefront of low-carbon municipal solid waste (MSW) treatment. MSW has been favoured by researchers in recent years due to its high potential to dispose of resources with WtE technology, which contributes to the carbon neutrality goal. However, there is a lack of research that integrates MSW WtE treatment from a global perspective and explores its future direction. Bibliometric methods are widely used because of their advantages in qualitative and quantitative literature information analysis. A comprehensive search was conducted in the Web of Science (WOS) Core Collection database, covering the period from 1990-2022, resulting in the collection of 702 articles. Subsequently, bibliometric software such as CiteSpace, VOSviewer, and Bibliometrix, were jointly employed for co-occurrence, co-citation, and cluster analyses, providing an in-depth qualitative and quantitative analysis of the research hotspots and development trends of WtE technology for MSW treatment. The research findings indicate a rapid growth in studies on carbon emission reduction through WtE technology for MSW treatment since 2015, with these related articles accounting for 50% of articles. Globally, China, the United States, Italy, and other countries were active research regions, with Chinese research institutions making the largest contributions. However, contributions from developing countries are limited. Furthermore, this study systematically elaborates on the research hotspots in this field. Finally, this study identified some frontier research hotspots and directions. Research on WtE technology primarily focuses on technological methods and policy management, particularly from the carbon neutrality perspective, emphasis WtE technology sustainability in reducing carbon emissions and achieving carbon neutrality goals. Promoting the use of assisted decision-making models in the MSW management process, and focusing on the conversion of food waste into valuable energy. It is hoped that these research directions will provide new ideas for the balanced and rapid development of WtE technology.

Abstract
Background Currently, there is a lack of intuitive analysis regarding the development trend, main authors, and research hotspots in the field of cerebral arteriovenous malformation treatment, as well as a detailed elaboration of possible research hotspots. Methods A bibliometric analysis was conducted on data retrieved from the Web of Science core collection database between 2000 and 2022. The analysis was performed using R, VOSviewer, CiteSpace software, and an online bibliometric platform. Results A total of 1,356 articles were collected, and the number of publications has increased over time. The United States and the University of Pittsburgh are the most prolific countries and institutions in the field. The top three cited authors are Kondziolka D, Sheehan JP, and Lunsford LD. The Journal of Neurosurgery and Neurosurgery are two of the most influential journals in the field of brain arteriovenous malformation treatment research, with higher H-index, total citations, and number of publications. Furthermore, the analysis of keywords indicates that "aruba trial," "randomised trial," "microsurgery," "onyx embolization," and "Spetzler-Martin grade" may become research focal points. Additionally, this paper discusses the current research status, existing issues, and potential future research directions for the treatment of brain arteriovenous malformations. Conclusion This bibliometric study comprehensively analyses the publication trend of cerebral arteriovenous malformation treatment in the past 20 years. It covers the trend of international cooperation, publications, and research hotspots. This information provides an important reference for scholars to further study cerebral arteriovenous malformation.

Abstract
Emerging contaminants have been increasingly recognized as critical determinants in global public health outcomes. However, the intricate relationship between these contaminants and glucose metabolism remains to be fully elucidated. The paucity of comprehensive clinical data, coupled with the need for in-depth mechanistic investigations, underscores the urgency to decipher the precise molecular and cellular pathways through which these contaminants potentially mediate the initiation and progression of diabetes mellitus. A profound understanding of the epidemiological impact of these emerging contaminants, as well as the elucidation of the underlying mechanistic pathways, is indispensable for the formulation of evidence-based policy and preventive interventions. This review systematically aggregates contemporary findings from epidemiological investigations and delves into the mechanistic correlates that tether exposure to emerging contaminants, including endocrine disruptors, perfluorinated compounds, microplastics, and antibiotics, to glycemic dysregulation. A nuanced exploration is undertaken focusing on potential dietary sources and the consequential role of the gut microbiome in their toxic effects. This review endeavors to provide a foundational reference for future investigations into the complex interplay between emerging contaminants and diabetes mellitus.

Abstract
Microbial remediation technology has received much attention as a green, ecological, and inexpensive technology, and there is great potential for the application of microbial remediation technology for heavy metals (HMs) contaminated soil alone and in conjunction with other technologies in environmental remediation. To gain an in-depth understanding of the latest research progress, research hotspots, and development trends on microbial remediation of HMs-contaminated soil, and to objectively reflect the scientific contributions and impacts of relevant countries/regions, institutions, and individuals of this field, in this manuscript, ISI Web of Knowledge's Web of Science™ core collection database, data visualization, and analysis software Bibliometrix, VOSviewer, and HistCite Pro were used to collect and analyze the relevant literature from 2000 to 2022, and 1409 publications were subjected to scientometric analyses. It involved 327 journals, 5150 authors, 75 countries/regions, and 2740 keywords. The current progress and hotspots on microbial remediation of HMs-contaminated soil since the twenty-first century were analyzed in terms of the top 10 most productive countries (regions), high-yielding authors, source journals, important research institutions, and hotspots of research directions. Over the past 22 years, China, India, and the USA have been the countries with the most articles. The institution and author with the most publications are the Chinese Acad Sci and Zhu YG, respectively. Journal of Hazardous Materials is the most productive journal. The keywords showed 6 co-occurrence clusters. These findings revealed the research hotspots, knowledge gaps, and future exploration trends related to microbial remediation of HMs-contaminated soil.

Abstract
Emerging contaminants (ECs) are gaining global attention owing to their widespread presence and adverse effects on human health. ECs comprise numerous composite types and pose a potential threat to the growth and functional traits of species and ecosystems. Although the occurrence and fate of ECs has been extensively studied, little is known about their long-term biological effects. This review attempts to gain insights into the unhindered connections and overlaps in aquatic ecosystems. Microplastics (MPs), one of the most representative ECs, are carriers of other pollutants because of their strong adsorption capacity. They form a complex of pollutants that can be transmitted to aquatic organisms and humans through the extended food chain, increasing the concentration of pollutants by tens of thousands of times. Adsorption, interaction and transport effects of emerging contaminants in the aquatic environment are also discussed. Furthermore, the current state of knowledge on the ecotoxicity of single- and two-pollutant models is presented. Herein, we discuss how aquatic organisms within complex food networks may be particularly vulnerable to harm from ECs in the presence of perturbations. This review provides an advanced understanding of the interactions and potential toxic effects of ECs on aquatic organisms.

Abstract
Due to the disorderly discharge in modern production and daily life of people, emerging contaminants(ECs) began to appear in landscape water, and have become a key public concern. Because of the unique characteristics of landscape water, it is difficult to efficiently remove ECs either by natural purification or by traditional large-scale sewage treatment facilities. The ideal purification method is to remove them while maintaining a beautiful environment. Possessing the feature of low-density, floating photocatalysts could harvest sufficient light on the surface of the water for photocatalytic degradation, which may be an important supplement for ECs treatment in landscape water. This paper gave a review related to floating photocatalysts and proposed an idea of combining floating photocatalysts to construct bionic photocatalytic materials for contaminative landscape water treatment. Six types of common floating substrates and corresponding applications for floating photocatalysts were concluded in this paper, and the main problem leading to the low efficiency of photocatalysts and three corresponding three improvement strategies were discussed. Besides, the modification mechanisms of photocatalysts were discussed thoroughly. On this basis, the engineering application prospects of bionic photocatalytic materials were proposed to remove ECs in landscape water.

Abstract
The removal of waterborne pathogens from water is critical in preventing the spread of waterborne diseases. Electrochemical methods have been extensively researched and implemented for disinfection, primarily owing to their simplicity, efficiency, and eco-friendliness. Thus, it is essential to conduct a review about the research progress and hotspots on this promising technique. In this paper, we provided a comprehensive bibliometric analysis to systematically study and analyze the current status, hotspots, and trends in electrochemical disinfection research from 2002 to 2022. This study analyzed literature related to electrochemical disinfection or electrochemical sterilization published in the Web of Science database from 2002 to 2022 using CiteSpace and Biblioshiny R language software packages. The analysis focused on the visualization and assessment of annual publication volume, discipline and journal distribution, collaborative networks, highly cited papers, and keywords to systematically understand the current status and trends of electrochemical disinfection. The results showed that between 2002 and 2022, 1171 publications related to electrochemical disinfection were published, with an exponential increase in the cumulative number of publications (y=17.518e0.2147x, R2= 0.9788). The publications covered 76 disciplines with many articles published in high-impact journals. However, the research power was characterized by a large number of scattered research efforts and insufficient cooperation, indicating the need for further innovative collaboration. The citation analysis and keyword analysis suggest that future development in this field may focus on optimizing electrode materials, investigating the disinfection performance of ·OH based systems, optimizing conditions for actual wastewater treatment, and reducing energy consumption to promote practical applications.

Abstract
Anaerobic granular sludge (AnGS) has a complex and important internal microbial communication system due to its unique microbial layered structure. As a concentration-dependent communication system between bacterial cells through signal molecules, QS (quorum sensing) is widespread in AnGS and exhibits great potential to regulate microbial behaviors. Therefore, the universal functions of QS in AnGS have been systematically summarized in this paper, including the influence on the metabolic activity, physicochemical properties, and microbial community of AnGS. Subsequently, the common QS-based AnGS regulation approaches are reviewed and analyzed comprehensively. The regulation mechanism of QS in AnGS is analyzed from two systems of single bacterium and mixed bacteria. This review can provide a comprehensive understanding of QS functions in AnGS systems, and promote the practical application of QS-based strategies in optimization of AnGS treatment process.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION The correlation between diabetes and stroke has been studied extensively in epidemiological research. Here, we used bibliometric software to visualize and analyze the literature related to diabetic stroke to provide an overview of the current state of research, hotspots, and future trends in the field. METHODS Based on the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) database, we collected studies related to diabetic stroke from 2007 to December 2022. We used CiteSpace (version 6.1.R5), VOSviewer, and Scimago Graphica to create knowledge maps and conduct visual analyses on authors, countries, institutions, cited references, and keywords, and Origin for statistical analysis. RESULTS We included a total of 5,171 papers on diabetic stroke from the WoSCC database. Overall, there was a steady increase in the number of publications, with a high number of emerging scientists. The USA was the most productive and influential country, which dominated national collaborations. The most common subject category was "neurology." In total, 12 major clusters were generated from the cited references. Keyword analysis showed that keywords related to poststroke injury and treatment are those with the highest burst intensity and latest burst time. CONCLUSIONS Individual disease treatment remains a hot topic, and how to balance acute stroke treatment and glycemic control is currently a difficult clinical problem. At the same time, the mechanism of their interaction and the prevention and treatment of related causative factors remain a hot topic of current and future research.

Abstract
Introduction: Network pharmacology has emerged as a forefront and hotspot in anti-cancer. Traditional anti-cancer drugs are limited by the paradigm of "one cancer, one target, one drug," making it difficult to address the challenges of recurrence and drug resistance. However, the main advantage of network pharmacology lies in its approach from the perspective of molecular network relationships, employing a "one arrow, multiple targets" strategy, which provides a novel pathway for developing anti-cancer drugs. This study employed a bibliometric analysis method to examine network pharmacology's application and research progress in cancer treatment from January 2008 to May 2023. This research will contribute to revealing its forefront and hotspots, offering new insights and methodologies for future investigations. Methods: We conducted a literature search on network pharmacology research in anti-cancer (NPART) from January 2008 to May 2023, utilizing scientific databases such as Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) and PubMed to retrieve relevant research articles and reviews. Additionally, we employed visualization tools such as Citespace, SCImago Graphica, and VOSviewer to perform bibliometric analysis. Results: This study encompassed 3,018 articles, with 2,210 articles from WoSCC and 808 from PubMed. Firstly, an analysis of the annual national publication trends and citation counts indicated that China and the United States are the primary contributing countries in this field. Secondly, the recent keyword analysis revealed emerging research hotspots in "tumor microenvironment," "anti-cancer drugs," and "traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). " Furthermore, the literature clustering analysis demonstrated that "calycosin," "molecular mechanism," "molecular docking," and "anti-cancer agents" were widely recognized research hotspots and forefront areas in 2023, garnering significant attention and citations in this field. Ultimately, we analyzed the application of NPART and the challenges. Conclusion: This study represents the first comprehensive analysis paper based on bibliometric methods, aiming to investigate the forefront hotspots of network pharmacology in anti-cancer research. The findings of this study will facilitate researchers in swiftly comprehending the current research trends and forefront hotspots in the domain of network pharmacology in cancer research.

Abstract
Background Spinal cord injury (SCI) is defined as traumatic damage to the spinal cord, affecting over three million patients worldwide, and there is still no treatment for the injured spinal cord itself. In recent years, immunology research on SCI has been published in various journals. Methods To systematically analyze the research hotspots and dynamic scientific developments of immunology research in SCI, we conducted a bibliometric and knowledge map analysis to help researchers gain a global perspective in this research field. Results The bibliometric study we completed included 1788 English-language papers published in 553 journals by 8861 authors from 1901 institutions in 66 countries/regions. Based on the references and keyword analysis, researchers in the past 10 years have mainly focused on the research directions of "monocyte chemoattractor protein 1," "nitric oxide," "pain," and "nitric oxide synthase" related to immunological research in SCI. However, with the development of other new directions such as "extracellular vesicles" (2019-2022), "Regenerative medicine" (2019-2022), "stromal cells" (2018-2022), "motor recovery" (2019-2022), and "glial activation" (2019-2022). Researchers prefer to study the application of regenerative strategies in SCI, the mechanism of extracellular vesicles in the development of SCI, the activation of spinal glial cells in SCI, and the pathways of motor recovery. This bibliometric analysis of immunology research in SCI summarizes the current status of this research field. The relationship between extracellular vesicles, regenerative medicine, stromal cells, motor recovery, and glial activation is currently a major research frontier. Further research and cooperation worldwide need to be enhanced. Conclusion We believe that our research can help researchers quickly grasp the current hotspot of immunology research in SCI and determine a new direction for future research.

Abstract
This bibliometric analysis provides the first overview of the literature on emerging contaminants in coastal waters. Bibexcel, Microsoft Excel, VOSviewer and the bibliometix R package software were used for bibliometric analysis and science mapping. 556 publications, published between 1986 and 2022, were retrieved from the Web of Science (WoS) database. The results showed that this field of research follows Price's law of exponential growth and has exploded since 2001. Authors, journals and institutions followed Lotka's law, and Price's index (43.4 %) showed that the field is far from being obsolete. The most influential institution is the Chinese Academy of Sciences, while authors from China, USA, Japan and Singapore have the most publications and international co-authorships. The leading journal is Marine Pollution Bulletin, with a focus on Environmental Science WoS category. Hot research areas focus on risk assessment of PCBs, organochlorine compounds and personal care products in surface water and wastewater.

Abstract
Background The incidence and mortality rates of stroke are escalating due to the growing aging population, which presents a significant hazard to human health. In the realm of stroke, brain-computer interface (BCI) technology has gained considerable attention as a means to enhance treatment efficacy and improve quality of life. Consequently, a bibliometric visualization analysis was performed to investigate the research hotspots and trends of BCI technology in stroke, with the objective of furnishing reference and guidance for future research. Methods This study utilized the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-Expanded) within the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) database as the data source, selecting relevant literature published between 2013 and 2022 as research sample. Through the application of VOSviewer 1.6.19 and CiteSpace 6.2.R2 visualization analysis software, as well as the bibliometric online analysis platform, the scientific knowledge maps were constructed and subjected to visualization display, and statistical analysis. Results This study encompasses a total of 693 relevant literature, which were published by 2,556 scholars from 975 institutions across 53 countries/regions and have been collected by 185 journals. In the past decade, BCI technology in stroke research has exhibited an upward trend in both annual publications and citations. China and the United States are high productivity countries, while the University of Tubingen stands out as the most contributing institution. Birbaumer N and Pfurtscheller G are the authors with the highest publication and citation frequency in this field, respectively. Frontiers in Neuroscience has published the most literature, while Journal of Neural Engineering has the highest citation frequency. The research hotspots in this field cover keywords such as stroke, BCI, rehabilitation, motor imagery (MI), motor recovery, electroencephalogram (EEG), neurorehabilitation, neural plasticity, task analysis, functional electrical stimulation (FES), motor impairment, feature extraction, and induced movement therapy, which to a certain extent reflect the development trend and frontier research direction of this field. Conclusion This study comprehensively and visually presents the extensive and in-depth literature resources of BCI technology in stroke research in the form of knowledge maps, which facilitates scholars to gain a more convenient understanding of the development and prospects in this field, thereby promoting further research work.

Abstract
In recent years, the use of magnetic biochar in wastewater treatment has shown significant effects and attracted scholars' attention. However, due to the relatively short research time and the lack of systematic summaries, it is difficult to provide a more in-depth analysis. This study utilizes RStudio and CiteSpace software to comprehensively analyze the research trends and progress of magnetic biochar in wastewater treatment. The analysis of bibliometrics is performed on 551 relevant papers retrieved from the Web of Science, spanning the period between 2011 and 2022. The most influential countries, institutions, journals, disciplinary distribution, and top 10 authors and papers in this field have been identified. The latest dataset has been used for keyword clustering and burst analysis. The results indicated that: (1) Bin Gao is the most influential author in this field, and high-level journals such as Bioresource Technology are more inclined to publish articles in the field of magnetic biochar. (2) Research in this field has predominantly focused on the removal of heavy metals and organic compounds. Keyword burst analysis shows a shift in research direction towards the removal of complex organic pollutants recently. (3) For the future development of magnetic biochar, an environment-friendly approach, economic viability, and joint technology are the directions that need more exploration. Finally, this paper provides a summary of the various adsorption mechanisms of magnetic biochar and several common modification methods, aiming to assist scholars in their research endeavors.

Abstract
Global attention has shifted in recent years to climate change and global warming. The international community has set the objective of carbon neutrality to address the climate crisis. Carbon neutrality has drawn significant attention as a crucial step in the fight against climate change, with individual nations having established their carbon neutrality targets. This paper aims to use bibliometric analysis to investigate research hotspots and trends in carbon neutrality research, and accesses the literature through the Web of Science (WoS) core database and undertakes an in-depth examination of 909 publications linked to carbon neutrality around the world using Vosviewer and Bibliometrix software. According to the findings, the number of carbon neutrality publications has increased dramatically in recent years. There are also notable differences in carbon neutrality research across countries and regions. China and the US are the primary drivers and leaders of carbon neutrality research, and developing countries have relatively little carbon neutrality research. Research has concentrated on carbon neutrality's practical, technical, policy, and economic aspects, as well as renewable energy sources, carbon conversion technologies, and carbon capture and storage technologies are also research hotspots. The paper also outlines opportunities for the advancement of carbon neutrality research in the future, including how it might be further integrated with Artificial intelligence (AI) and the metaverse, and how to attack the difficulties and uncertainties faced by the post-epidemic rebound. This study aids in understanding the current state of the field of carbon neutrality research and can be used to guide future studies.
