Abstract
Biomedical tools for HIV prevention such as post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) continue to be underutilized by subgroups experiencing significant HIV inequities. Specifically, factors associated with both PEP awareness and uptake both cross-sectionally and longitudinally are under-researched, despite PEP being a part of the United States' Plan for Ending the HIV Epidemic. The current study examined longitudinal predictors of PEP awareness among Latino sexual minority men (LSMM) living in South Florida. This current study (N = 290) employed hierarchal linear modeling across three timepoints (baseline, 4-months, 8-months) to assess within-person and between-person effects over time for several psychosocial and structural factors. Most participants (67.5%) reported little to no awareness of PEP at baseline with general PEP awareness growing slightly across the study (60.5% reporting little to no awareness of PEP at 8 months). Results of the final conditional model suggest significant within-person effects of PrEP knowledge (p = 0.02) and PrEP self-efficacy (p < 0.001), as well as a significant positive between-person effect of PrEP knowledge (p < 0.01) on PEP awareness. Between-person HIV knowledge was also a significant predictor in this model (p = 0.01). This longitudinal analysis of LSMM's PEP awareness indicates that more must be done to increase PEP awareness among this subgroup. Future studies should explore how to build on existing interventions focused on HIV and PrEP knowledge and PrEP self-efficacy to incorporate information about PEP to increase the reach of this effective biomedical HIV prevention tool.

Abstract
Latina/o/x face acculturative stressors which are unique to being an immigrant and/or racial/ethnic minority. Furthermore, Latina/o/x parents face an additional layer of stress related to parenting and family challenges. Little is known about how immigrant and non-immigrant parents cope with stress related to parenting and family stress and how these additional stressors impact parental mental health and substance use. The sample for this secondary data analysis included 1197 parents between 18 and 56 years of age. All analyses controlled for age, gender and number of persons living at home; for the immigrant subsample, we controlled for time in the USA and for the non-immigrant sample, we controlled for generational status. Analyses were conducted to examine the relationship between (1) acculturative stress and mental health and substance use and (2) parenting and family stress and mental health and substance use for immigrants and non-immigrants. Results of multivariate regression models revealed that acculturative stress was significantly associated with mental health, alcohol use, cigarette use, and other tobacco product use for both immigrant and non-immigrants. For both immigrants and non-immigrants, parenting stress and family stress were consistently associated with psychological distress. Parenting stress was associated with greater substance use, including cigarette, other tobacco use, and alcohol use. Given the different associations between acculturative, parenting, and family stress with mental health and substance use among immigrant and non-immigrant parents, family-based interventions should address these stressors to prevent poor health outcomes among Latina/o/x parents and their children.

Abstract
PURPOSE The purpose of this study is to refine and establish measures of multilevel barriers and facilitators to HIV testing and PrEP for Latino sexual minority men (LSMM). DESIGN Cross-sectional measure validation. SETTING Participants from Miami, FL. SUBJECTS 290 LSMM from the DÍMELO study. MEASURES Based on prior qualitative work, we developed two measures that evaluated multiple determinants (i.e., barriers and facilitators) to (1) HIV testing and (2) PrEP use. ANALYSIS All measures included in this analysis assessed a set of theoretically distinct barriers and facilitators. We performed 11 exploratory factor analyses (EFA) to assess the dimensionality of theoretical groupings of items informed by prior qualitative work, including: knowledge, perceived need and benefit, mistrust and concerns, stigma and normalization, cultural competence, navigation support, provider demeanor, clinic and medical system issues, privacy concerns, cost, and language and immigration barriers. Based on EFA results, we conducted two confirmatory factor analyses (CFA), one for each measure. RESULTS Within each measure, the 11 EFAs extracted 10 barrier factors and 7 facilitator factors. The CFAs for HIV testing and PrEP measures were consistent, such that all models retained the structures identified in the EFAs. CONCLUSION Findings support the use of these measures with LSMM. These measures can inform multilevel implementation strategies for health promotion professionals to scale up and disseminate HIV prevention services to LSMM.

Abstract
This manuscript describes the rationale and design of a family-based, Hispanic sexual minority youth (HSMY) specific preventive intervention, Familias con Orgullo (Families with Pride). HSMY (N = 306) and their primary caregivers will be recruited in South Florida and be randomized to Familias con Orgullo or prevention as usual. The intervention will be delivered by trained study facilitators. Outcomes will be measured at baseline and 6-, 18-, and 30-months post-baseline. The goals of this study are to evaluate whether the Familias con Orgullo intervention, compared to community practice, is effective in reducing drug use and depressive symptoms through the improvement of parent support for the youth, parent acceptance, family functioning, youth stress, and sexual minority stress. Additionally, we will explore whether gender and baseline levels of parent support for the youth, parent acceptance, family functioning, youth stress, and sexual minority stress moderate intervention effects on the youth outcomes. Abstract
Little is known about the impact of sociocultural stressors such as acculturative stress on self-rated health among Hispanics. We aimed to examine (a) associations between acculturative stress and self-rated health, and (b) the moderating effects of the community of settlement (i.e., Maricopa County, AZ and Miami-Dade County, FL) and social support on the association between acculturative stress and self-rated health. A hierarchical multiple regression model and moderation analyses were conducted using a cross-sectional sample of 200 Hispanic emerging adults from Arizona and Florida. Findings indicate that higher levels of pressure to acculturate are associated with lower levels of self-rated health. Community of settlement functioned as a moderator whereby pressure to acculturate was only associated with lower levels of self-rated health in Maricopa County. Lastly, a three-way interaction indicated that emotional social support mitigated the association between pressure to acculturate and self-rated health in Maricopa County. This study highlights the importance of accounting for community of settlement when examining associations between acculturative stress and health-related outcomes. A finding that may have implications for interventions is that social support may help to counteract the effects of acculturative stress.

Abstract
Purpose: Latino sexual minority men (LSMM) may experience oppression based on their ethnicity, sexual orientation, and migratory status, yet scientific literature is only beginning to explore the intersection of these experiences. This study examined mental health (MH) in relation to LSMM's experiences of intersectional oppression and affirmation. Methods: We conducted a secondary analysis of baseline data from a cohort study examining LSMM's (n = 290) health care engagement in Miami, FL, from February to September 2020. Latent class analysis (LCA) identified classes based on self-reported multiple identity discrimination (e.g., race, ethnicity, and skin color), sexual orientation stigma/affirmation, and migration-related stress. Logistic and linear regressions examined associations between class membership and anxious, depressive, post-traumatic stress, somatic symptoms, and overall MH burden. Results: The LCA revealed a three-class solution: (1) affirmed LSMM (73.8%), (2) LSMM with intersectional oppression (21.7%), and (3) LSMM with immigration stress (4.5%). The three classes varied in terms of multiple identity discrimination, sexual orientation stigma/affirmation, and migration-related stress. Compared with Class 1, Class 2 had greater conditional probabilities of reporting clinically significant depressive (p = 0.033) and post-traumatic stress symptoms (p = 0.031), and at least one MH concern (p = 0.018). Greater depressive symptoms (p = 0.007), post-traumatic stress symptoms (p = 0.049), somatic symptoms (p = 0.024), and clinically significant MH concerns (p = 0.018) were found among Class 2 than among Class 1. Conclusion: Findings identified three groups of LSMM based on their experiences of intersectional oppression and affirmation. Discrimination at the intersection of multiple identities, sexual orientation stigma/affirmation, and migration-related stress were associated with LSMM's MH outcomes, particularly among immigrants.

Abstract
Older sexual minorities (e.g., gay, bisexual) living with HIV are at risk for poor HIV outcomes due to their frequent experience with both psychosocial challenges and structural barriers to care. This study utilized a stochastic search variable selection (SVSS) approach to explore potential psychosocial and structural factors associated with HIV-related health outcomes among a community-based sample of older sexual minorities (N = 150) in South Florida, an U.S. HIV-epidemic epicenter. After SVSS, a forward entry regression approach suggested unstable housing, illicit substance use, current nicotine use, and depression were all associated with poorer ART adherence among older sexual minority adults living with HIV. No associations between potential correlates and biological measures of HIV disease severity were observed. Findings highlight a need to focus on multiple levels of intervention that target a combination of psychosocial and structural factors to improve HIV-care outcomes among older sexual minorities and achieve Ending the HIV Epidemic goals.

Abstract
PURPOSE Advancements in technology have made it possible to deliver parenting interventions online, known as eHealth interventions. Little is known about the rate at which parents participate in eHealth interventions, characteristics of parents who watch eHealth interventions at an accelerated pace (i.e., binge-watching), and if binge-watching impacts intervention outcomes. METHODS The sample included 142 Hispanic parents who were randomly assigned to an eHealth family-based intervention and completed 100% of eight online, prerecorded and self-paced video group sessions delivered across 12 weeks. We examined baseline predictors (parent sociodemographic characteristics, report of child's externalizing behaviors, and family functioning) of watching group sessions in two weeks or less (n = 23, 16.2%). Using latent growth curve modeling, we tested the impact of binge-watching on the trajectory of adolescent drug use, condomless sex, and depressive symptoms across 36 months. We also examined the impact of binge-watching on changes in family functioning from baseline to 6 months postbaseline. RESULTS Parents with high levels of education and of children with attention problems were more likely to binge-watch. Conversely, parents of children with conduct disorder symptoms were less likely to binge-watch. The trajectory of depressive symptoms increased for adolescents with parents who binge-watched the intervention, but the trajectory of condomless sex decreased. There was no impact on drug use. Binge-watching was also associated with decreases in parental monitoring. DISCUSSION The findings of this study have implications for eHealth interventions; the pace that parents watch eHealth interventions may subsequently impact adolescent outcomes, such as condomless sex and depressive symptoms.

Abstract
PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE(S) Invisible ink tattoos allow for setup accuracy while avoiding the cosmetic permanence of visible ink tattoos. The goal of this trial was to evaluate patient-reported preference for the use of invisible ink tattoos in a radiation oncology clinic. MATERIALS/METHODS In an IRB-approved, prospective, feasibility trial, patients at a single institution receiving pencil beam scanning proton therapy to the thorax, abdomen, or pelvis underwent invisible ink tattoo-based treatment setup. Patient preference surveys comparing visible and invisible ink tattoos were completed prior to simulation (17 questions), immediately following simulation (5 questions), and at the end of treatment (18 questions), with preference scored on a 5-point Likert scale from strongly disagree to strongly agree, and cosmesis scored on a 4-point Likert scale of excellent-good-fair-poor. Differences in distributions were examined using Wilcoxon rank-sum tests, Fisher's exact tests, or chi-square tests, where statistical significance was considered at p<0.05. RESULTS Of 107 patients screened, 102 were enrolled and 94 completed all surveys. Mean age was 55.0 years, and 58.5% were female. Most patients were white (79.1%) and non-Hispanic (92.6%). Patients most commonly had breast (34.0%), prostate (16.0%), and lung (9.6%) cancer. An average of 5 (range 3-8) invisible ink tattoos were placed per patient. Overall, 75.5% of patients reported that they would prefer to receive invisible tattoos vs. visible tattoos, and 88.3% rated the overall cosmetic outcome of invisible ink tattoo marks as excellent or good. Compared to males, females were more willing to travel farther from their home in order to avoid receiving visible tattoos (45.4% vs. 23.1%, p = 0.035) and would pay additional money to avoid receiving visible tattoos (34.5% vs. 5.1%, p = 0.002). Patients who had previously received any tattoo (cosmetic or visible RT tattoos) were more satisfied with the appearance of their invisible ink tattoos compared to those who had never previously received tattoos (82.9% vs. 61.5%, p = 0.022). Patients receiving definitive intent RT were more satisfied with the appearance of the tattoos compared to those receiving palliative intent RT (67.1% vs. 38.9%, p = 0.011). Patients with at least a college education were less satisfied with the appearance of tattoos compared to those without a college education (67.0% vs. 95.0% p = 0.018). CONCLUSION These findings demonstrate stronger avoidance of visible tattoos and patient preference for invisible tattoos. The standard incorporation of invisible ink tattoos for patient setup should be strongly considered.

Abstract
PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE(S) High risk prognostic factors for outcomes following SBRT for early-stage lung cancer per SWOG/NRG 1914 include: tumor size > 2cm; moderately/poorly/undifferentiated histology; or high metabolic activity on PET/CT defined as SUV > 6.2. The purpose of this IRB approved retrospective study is to assess outcome for stage I lung cancer and to validate SWOG risk stratification in a single community-based radiation department. MATERIALS/METHODS A total of 132 patients with 139 tumors treated with SBRT between 2014 and 2019 were stratified by SWOG risk group (high vs. low). To assess differences by risk group in estimated overall survival (OS) at the patient level, as well as Freedom from Local Failure (FFLF), Freedom from Regional Failure (FFRF) and Freedom from Distant Failure (FFDF) at the tumor level, Kaplan-Meier methodology and Cox proportional hazards (PH) modeling for correlated data were used. Statistical significance was concluded at the 0.05 level. RESULTS Median follow-up for the entire group is 56 months. 77% of patients had high risk tumors. The median patient age was 75 years with 57% female. Patients with high-risk tumors were older (p = 0.023) compared to patients with low-risk tumors. At the tumor level, high risk tumors were more likely to have biopsies performed (91% vs 57% p = 0.002) and more likely to experience regional failure (28% vs 7% p = 0.005). High risk tumors were more likely to experience local failure (8% vs 0% p = NS) and distant failure (27% vs 14% p = NS). Median survival was 49 months for the whole group (46.0 months high risk, 65.1 months low risk). Actuarial OS at 5 years is 38% (35% high risk, 51% low risk). Actuarial FFLF at 5 years is 94% (93% high risk, 100% low risk). Actuarial FFRF at 5 years is 77% (72% high risk, 93% low risk). Actuarial FFDF at 5 years is 74% (70% high risk, 88% low risk). Cox PH models revealed no statistically significant differences in FFRF by risk group (p = 0.08). CONCLUSION Excellent local control but higher regional and distant failure was demonstrated for high-risk lung tumors as defined by SWOG/NRG 1914. Clinically important decrement in outcomes were consistently noted for high-risk tumors in this sample which did not demonstrate statistical significance due to lack of events and statistical power. However, our data supports the prognostic importance of tumor size/grade and SUV for identifying patients at high risk. Further validation with larger sample sizes would contribute to our knowledge regarding risk stratification for early-stage lung cancer treated with SBRT.

Abstract
Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and HIV testing inadequately reach Latino sexual minority men (LSMM), fueling HIV disparities. This study identified determinants of LSMM's PrEP use and HIV testing and examined differences across subgroups (i.e., age and immigration history). First, we identified the most to least endorsed barriers and facilitators of PrEP use and HIV testing among LSMM (1) over vs. under 40 years old, and (2) across immigration histories (U.S. born, recent immigrant, established immigrant). Next, we examined differences in barrier/facilitator ratings across these age and immigration status groups. Key overall determinants were cost, knowledge, and perceived benefit/need. However, there was variation in determinants across age groups (i.e., cost, affordability, navigation support, and normalization) and immigration statuses (i.e., language, immigration concerns, and HIV knowledge). There were also differences across service types; mistrust and concerns was a barrier related to PrEP but not HIV testing. We found unique and common multilevel factors across prevention services and subgroups. Language, cost, and clinic/system issues are key barriers in accessing HIV prevention that should be considered when developing implementation strategies to enhance the reach of these services to LSMM.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Family functioning is associated with adolescent drug use, alcohol use, cigarette use, and sexual risk behaviors. Assessing adolescents for family functioning, commonly associated with multiple risk behaviors, may help identify adolescents at risk for adverse health outcomes. This study examined whether a latent family functioning construct, encompassing multiple dimensions of family functioning, was associated with adolescents' substance use and sexual risk behaviors. METHOD This study used data harmonization with three intervention trials, including data from 1451 adolescents (M = 13.6, SD = 1.0), to perform a full-information item bifactor analysis on 46 family functioning items from five pre-existing family functioning measures. Regression analysis was used to examine the association between the identified subset of items and the following outcomes: cigarette use, alcohol use, drug use, and condom use. RESULTS Bifactor analysis identified a 26-item latent family functioning construct. Regression analysis indicated that a 26-item latent family functioning construct was associated negatively with lifetime and past 90-day cigarette use, alcohol use, and drug use. CONCLUSION In sum, the multi-dimensional latent family functioning construct may target specific barriers to risk screening in adolescent populations, including time constraint, hesitancy in discussing sensitive health topics, and use culturally appropriate and age-appropriate assessments.

Abstract
MINERvA has measured the ν_{μ}-induced coherent π^{+} cross section simultaneously in hydrocarbon (CH), graphite (C), iron (Fe), and lead (Pb) targets using neutrinos from 2 to 20 GeV. The measurements exceed the predictions of the Rein-Sehgal and Berger-Sehgal PCAC based models at multi-GeV ν_{μ} energies and at produced π^{+} energies and angles, E_{π}>1 GeV and θ_{π}<10°. Measurements of the cross-section ratios of Fe and Pb relative to CH reveal the effective A scaling to increase from an approximate A^{1/3} scaling at few GeV to an A^{2/3} scaling for E_{ν}>10 GeV.

Abstract
Latino sexual minority men (LSMM) are affected by HIV and behavioral health disparities. Evidence-based HIV-prevention and behavioral health (BH) services are not sufficiently scaled up to LSMM. The current study identified multilevel barriers and facilitators to LSMM's use of HIV-prevention and BH services. LSMM (N = 290) in South Florida, a US HIV epicenter, completed a battery of measures potentially associated with pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and BH treatment use. Stochastic search variable selection (SSVS) followed by multiple linear regression analyses identified variables associated with engagement in PrEP and BH treatment. Multilevel determinants of PrEP and BH treatment engagement were identified, with most identified determinants being at the relational level (e.g., stigma, discrimination based on income and immigration status, personal recommendation for treatment). Individual (e.g., knowledge, self-efficacy) and structural (e.g., financial stress) determinants were also identified. Accordingly, modifiable leverage points to enhance the reach of PrEP and BH treatment to LSMM include educating and enhancing the perceived relevance of services, de-stigmatizing and normalizing via peer examples, bolstering self-efficacy, and building trust.

Abstract
Neutrino-induced charged-current single π^{+} production in the Δ(1232) resonance region is of considerable interest to accelerator-based neutrino oscillation experiments. In this Letter, high statistic differential cross sections are reported for the semiexclusive reaction ν_{μ}A→μ^{-}π^{+}+ nucleon(s) on scintillator, carbon, water, iron, and lead targets recorded by MINERvA using a wideband ν_{μ} beam with ⟨E_{ν}⟩≈6 GeV. Suppression of the cross section at low Q^{2} and enhancement of low T_{π} are observed in both light and heavy nuclear targets compared with phenomenological models used in current neutrino interaction generators. The cross sections per nucleon for iron and lead compared with CH across the kinematic variables probed are 0.8 and 0.5 respectively, a scaling which is also not predicted by current generators.

Abstract
Positive family functioning is negatively associated with drug use, sexual risk behaviors, and depression; however, existing measures of family functioning were not specifically developed for Latina/o/x sexual minority youth (LSMY). This study examined the factor structure of family functioning and whether it is invariant across sexual orientation (i.e., LSMY and heterosexual Latina/o/x youth). Participants included 454 Latina/o/x youth (LSMY: n = 115, 25.3%). Results yielded a higher-order family functioning factor consisting of parental involvement, positive parenting, parent-adolescent communication, and parental monitoring. The model fit for the sample was acceptable (CFI/RMSEA = .91/.04) and configural invariance indicated that the model fit the data adequately in both groups (CFI/RMSEA = .87/.05). Fit of the metric invariance model (∆χ2 (42) = 54.83, p = .09, ΔCFI, ΔRMSEA, ΔTLI < .001) was not significantly worse than the configural model, however, the scalar invariance model (∆χ2 (42) = 80.18, p < .001, ΔCFI = .01, ΔRMSEA, ΔTLI < .001) was significantly worse than the less constrained models, suggesting that family functioning was noninvariant with regard to sexual orientation. Noninvariance may be related to the unique experiences of LSMY related to sexual orientation that are not captured in existing measures of family functioning.

Abstract
Interventions that address adolescent conduct problems are essential for decreasing negative risk behaviors and promoting positive protective factors among youth. Although interventions have been developed and tested in the United States, preventive evidence-based interventions (EBIs) are less available in Latin American countries such as Ecuador. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of an evidence-based, parent-centered intervention, Familias Unidas, in preventing/reducing conduct problems, across time, among youth in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Ecuadorian youth (ages 12 through 14) and their respective primary caregiver were recruited from two public schools and randomized to either Familias Unidas or Community Practice. A series of latent growth models were run to test for differences between Familias Unidas and Community Practice on conduct disorder symptoms across three timepoints covering 6 months. Ecuadorian mental health professionals were trained to deliver the evidence-based intervention. Findings indicate no direct relationship between condition and average change in conduct problems at 6 months post baseline. However, indirect effects favoring Familias Unidas over Community Practice were found through improvements in family functioning. Findings highlight that Familias Unidas was efficacious in an international setting and indicate the viability of successfully delivering preventive EBIs in Ecuador.

Abstract
Drug use and depression co-occur and disproportionately affect Latinx sexual minority youth relative to their heterosexual Latinx peers. However, heterogeneity in co-occurring patterns of drug use and depressive symptoms is unknown. The objective of the current study was to identify patterns of drug use and depressive symptom trajectories and examine how these patterns varied between Latinx sexual minority youth and Latinx non-sexual minority youth. Latent class trajectory analysis identified distinct patterns of drug use and depressive symptom trajectories among 231 Latinx adolescents (Latinx sexual minority youth: n = 46, 21.4%; Latinx non-sexual minority youth: n = 169, 78.6%). After identifying class mean trajectories, we examined differences in mean trajectories across groups. A 3-class model was selected as the optimal class trajectory model for both groups, yet classes and trajectories differed. There were differences in initial levels of depression and drug use trajectories between both groups, as well as differences in patterns of drug use trajectories between both groups in two of the three classes. Given the variation in trajectory patterns, there is a need for practitioners to consider the unique needs of both groups to inform the development of preventive interventions for these two populations.

Abstract
This Letter presents the first simultaneous measurement of the quasielasticlike neutrino-nucleus cross sections on C, water, Fe, Pb, and scintillator (hydrocarbon or CH) as a function of longitudinal and transverse muon momentum. The ratio of cross sections per nucleon between Pb and CH is always above unity and has a characteristic shape as a function of transverse muon momentum that evolves slowly as a function of longitudinal muon momentum. The ratio is constant versus longitudinal momentum within uncertainties above a longitudinal momentum of 4.5 GeV/c. The cross section ratios to CH for C, water, and Fe remain roughly constant with increasing longitudinal momentum, and the ratios between water or C to CH do not have any significant deviation from unity. Both the overall cross section level and the shape for Pb and Fe as a function of transverse muon momentum are not reproduced by current neutrino event generators. These measurements provide a direct test of nuclear effects in quasielasticlike interactions, which are major contributors to long-baseline neutrino oscillation data samples.

Abstract
This article focuses on the rationale, design and methods of an effectiveness-implementation hybrid type I randomized trial of eHealth Familias Unidas Mental Health, a family-based, online delivered intervention for Hispanic families to prevent/reduce depressive and anxious symptoms, suicide ideation/behaviors, and drug use in Hispanic youth. Utilizing a rollout design with 18 pediatric primary care clinics and 468 families, this study addresses intervention effectiveness, implementation research questions, and intervention sustainment, to begin bridging the gap between research and practice in eliminating mental health and drug use disparities among Hispanic youth. Further, we will examine whether intervention effects are partially mediated by improved family communication and reduced externalizing behaviors, including drug use, and moderated by parental depression. Finally, we will explore whether the intervention's impact on mental health and drug use, as well as sustainment of the intervention in clinics, varies by quality of implementation at clinic and clinician levels. Abstract
Previous studies have suggested the impact of intervention fidelity on the management and prevention of chronic diseases; however, little is known about the effect of the contributing determinants (at multiple levels of influence) that can impact health-related interventions intending to improve the health status of Hispanic adolescents with overweight or obesity. The current study aimed to assess whether fidelity (i.e., dosage and quality of the program delivery), acculturation (i.e., orientation to the American culture, retention of Hispanic cultural values), and individual-level socio-demographic characteristics (i.e., income, education) predict changes in family processes (e.g., parent control), which in turn may affect adolescent health-related outcomes including body mass index (BMI), physical activity, dietary intake, and adolescents' health-related quality of life. A pathway analysis model was utilized to explore the study variables among 140 Hispanic parent-adolescent dyads randomized to Familias Unidas Health and Wellness (FUHW) intervention. Results indicated that fidelity was significantly associated with changes in parent-adolescent communication, parent monitoring, limit-setting, and control. Parents' education was associated with changes in parent limit-setting, and parent Hispanicism was associated with changes in parent limit-setting and discipline. The examination between family processes and adolescent health outcomes revealed that parents' higher discipline and improved communication with their adolescents were significantly associated with improved adolescents' quality of life, and parent control was positively associated with physical activity and negatively associated with BMI in adolescents. Our findings demonstrated the significant contribution of intervention fidelity and participants' characteristics in parenting strategies leading to adolescents' health outcomes to prevent obesity-related chronic diseases. Future research is needed to investigate the effect of environmental and organizational factors on the delivery of the intervention materials.

Abstract
Abstract
Background
Nursing staff is playing an increasingly important role in arrhythmia units and it entails acquiring more specialized knowledge. Intravenous conscious sedation is being administered more frequently in a wide variety of cardiac procedures including cryoballoon ablation (CBA). Nurses and physicians have distinct yet collaborative roles in the management and care of the patient receiving conscious sedation. It is imperative that the nurse be aware of her/his role in caring for the patient before, during, and after the administration of intravenous conscious sedation.
Purpose
We aimed to evaluate the nurse's role, working in coordination with the medical staff, in intravenous conscious sedation for CBA following a standardized protocol ensuring proper handling and administration of the different drugs, monitorization of vital signs and management of drug infusion in order to avoid pain but also complications inherent to the procedure and sedation.
Method
We included consecutive patients with paroxysmal or persistent AF who underwent a CBA from 2017 to 2021. We evaluated a nurse-guided sedation, under medical surveillance, in CBA procedures using propofol. The dosage was based on the patient's weight, starting sedation with a bolus of 1 ml (1% solution) for every 20 kg of weight, and starting a perfusion at 10 ml/h (2% solution), monitoring constantly patient's vital signs, especially blood pressure and O2saturation. This infusion was adjusted according to the patient's response. During the procedure, on a stable hemodynamic situation, booster bolus of 1 ml (1% solution) could be administered approximately every 15 minutes when needed for sedation. When systolic blood pressure was under 100 mmHg, a solution of midazolam (1mg/ml) and fentanyl (0.05mg/ml) in a mixture of 1cc + 1cc was preferred as booster. Saline and colloid solutions andephedrine (30mg/ml) bolus could be used when severe hypotension to revert propofol's hypotensive effect. Systematic standardized CBA was performed and intraprocedural and periprocedural complications were recorded.
Results
104 patients were included (mean age 58±8 year-old, 85% male). Of these patients, 76 (73%) had recurrent paroxysmal AF, failure of antiarrhythmic drugs was present in 96% and prior radiofrequency ablation in 4%, 61 (59%) showed left atria enlargement (>40 mm or area >20 cm2), and 11 (10%) had structural heart disease. Mean CHA2DS2VASc score was 1. Baseline characteristics in Table 1. Procedural-related complications occurred in 6 patients (5%), transient phrenic nerve palsy in 2 patients and vascular damage in 4. All sedations were performed without complications.
Conclusions
In our experience, protocolized nurse-guided intravenous conscious sedation under medical surveillance in CBA procedures is safe and really useful. It contributes to help medical operators to focus on the procedure sharing the patient's sedation management with trained nurses.

Abstract
Despite their efficacy, biomedical HIV prevention tools such as post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) and pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) have been insufficiently scaled up and disseminated, especially among marginalized subgroups that face substantial HIV disparities. Given the minimal literature available on PEP among Latino sexual minority men (LSMM), this cross-sectional secondary analysis explored factors associated with PEP awareness among a group of LSMM living in South Florida, a US HIV epicenter. The parent study examined patterns of engagement in PrEP and behavioral health treatment services among LSMM (N = 290). The current secondary analysis (N = 243) identified factors associated with PEP awareness using three methods: stochastic search variable selection, participatory data science, and literature review-before being modeled using linear regression. Most participants (67.5%) reported having little to no awareness about PEP before initiating our study. Simple linear regression models suggested that higher PrEP knowledge (B = 0.17, SE = 0.02, p < 0.001), HIV knowledge (B = 0.15, SE = 0.04, p < 0.001), PrEP self-efficacy (B = 0.37, SE = 0.13, p < 0.05), and high perceived community norms for HIV testing (B = 0.29, SE = 0.14, p < 0.05) were each associated with LSMM's greater PEP awareness, while identity affirmation was associated with less PEP awareness (B = -0.13, SE = 0.05, p < 0.01). Results suggest the utility of our three-pronged variable selection approach and address gaps in PEP awareness and use among LSMM living in a US HIV epicenter to support Ending the HIV Epidemic goals.

Abstract
Neutrino charged-current quasielastic-like scattering, a reaction category extensively used in neutrino oscillation measurements, probes nuclear effects that govern neutrino-nucleus interactions. This Letter reports the first measurement of the triple-differential cross section for ν_{μ} quasielastic-like reactions using the hydrocarbon medium of the MINERvA detector exposed to a wideband beam spanning 2≤E_{ν}≤20 GeV. The measurement maps the correlations among transverse and longitudinal muon momenta and summed proton kinetic energies, and compares them to predictions from a state-of-art simulation. Discrepancies are observed that likely reflect shortfalls with modeling of pion and nucleon intranuclear scattering and/or spectator nucleon ejection from struck nuclei. The separate determination of leptonic and hadronic variables can inform experimental approaches to neutrino-energy estimation.

Abstract
Background Latino men who have sex with men (LMSM) experience HIV and behavioral health disparities. Yet, evidence-based interventions, such as pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and behavioral health treatments, have not been equitably scaled up to meet LMSM needs. To address quality of life and the public health importance of HIV prevention, implementation strategies to equitably scale up these interventions to LMSM need to be developed. This study identifies themes for developing culturally grounded implementation strategies to increase uptake of evidence-based HIV prevention and behavioral health treatments among LMSM. Methods Participants included 13 LMSM and 12 stakeholders in Miami, an HIV epicenter. Feedback regarding the content, design, and format of an implementation strategy to scale up HIV-prevention and behavioral health services to LMSM were collected via focus groups (N=3) and individual interviews (N=3). Themes were inductively identified across the Health Equity Implementation Framework (HEIF) domains. Results Analyses revealed five higher order themes regarding the design, content, and format of the implementation strategy: cultural context, relationships and networks, navigation of health information and systems, resources and models of service delivery, and motivation to engage. Themes were applicable across HEIF domains, meaning that the same theme could have implications for both the development and implementation of the implementation strategy. Conclusions Findings highlight the importance of addressing culturally specific factors, leveraging relational networks, facilitating navigation of health systems, tailoring to available resources, and building consumer and implementer motivation in order to refine an implementation strategy for reducing mental health burden and achieving HIV health equity among LMSM.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Latinx sexual minority youth (LSMY) are disproportionately affected by adverse health outcomes, due to stigma and/or lack of family support. There are currently no family-based interventions for LSMY. This qualitative study describes the development of Familias con Orgullo (Families with Pride), a family-based intervention to prevent/reduce substance use, risky sexual behavior, and depressive symptoms in LSMY. METHOD Familias con Orgullo was developed using an iterative, user-centered methodology across two study phases. A general inductive approach was used to analyze intervention development individual interviews (N = 24: n = 12 parents, n = 12 LSMY) and post-intervention focus groups (N = 4) to query participants about program components and enhancements to the developed program after delivery. Data were coded into 11 themes representative of program features for LSMY and their families. RESULTS An intervention would need LSMY information delivered in a safe space and focused on communication, peer pressure, and mental health. Furthermore, participation would be dependent on parental level of acceptance. Informed by participants, we developed an intervention which addresses the multiple ecological levels of LSMY contexts within a cultural lens. Families gave positive feedback and indicated that additional content should focus on sexual health and intrapersonal topics. The intervention was modified and delivered to a new cohort of families; families felt the new intervention promoted inclusiveness; enriched relationships and communication between families; and enhanced lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer (LGBTQ) knowledge. Abstract
OBJECTIVE To explore the moderation effect of parental social determinant factors-educational attainment, income, and nativity-on intervention effects of a family-based lifestyle intervention, Familias Unidas for Health and Wellness (FUHW). DESIGN Longitudinal analysis across 6- and 24-months postbaseline of a randomized controlled trial. PARTICIPANTS Two-hundred and eighty primary caregivers. ANALYSIS Moderation analysis was used to examine the interactive effects between intervention effects and social determinant factors. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES Parental body mass index, added sugar intake, sugar-sweetened beverage intake, and fruits and vegetable intake. RESULTS Findings indicated that FUHW effects on added sugar intake were moderated by educational attainment (P = 0.006), income (P = 0.023), and nativity (P = 0.024). In addition, FUHW effects on sugar-sweetened beverage intake were moderated by parent education (P = 0.042). CONCLUSIONS AND IMPLICATIONS This study suggests that FUHW may be helpful in reducing added sugar and sugar-sweetened beverage intake for Hispanic parents who face social determinant factors-educational attainment, income, and foreign-born status-that may influence their dietary behaviors. By including demographic information in intervention development, effects may be enhanced by ensuring that considerations related to participants' socioeconomic and cultural status are incorporated into intervention components and help reduce overweight and obesity.

Abstract
Despite the availability of efficacious and effective family-based interventions, such interventions are scarce for sexual minority adolescents, particularly among ethnic/racial minorities. Prior to creating an entirely new intervention, a prudent first step may be to determine if existing interventions are efficacious in reducing risk behaviors in sexual minority adolescents. This study assesses the relative efficacy of a general, family-based intervention (Familias Unidas) on improving substance and condom use outcomes among Hispanic adolescents with same gender sexual behaviors (HASGB). Data across five distinct trials of Familias Unidas were synthesized. HASGB were randomized either to an intervention (n = 94) or control condition (n = 100). Mediation analyses tested for intervention efficacy on past 90-day substance (cigarette/alcohol/illicit drug) use and condomless sex at last intercourse in HASGB participants and whether family functioning indicators-parent-adolescent communication, positive parenting, and parental monitoring of peers-mediated the effects. Post hoc analyses explored the moderating role of study target population based on prior risk. Familias Unidas did not impact substance use but significantly reduced condomless sex postintervention relative to the control condition. Hypothesized mediators did not explain this effect. Post hoc analyses indicated that the effect was significant in studies that recruited based on prior risk but not studies that recruited universal samples. Our results suggest that a general, family-based intervention may have positive effects on condom use in HASGB, particularly those with prior indicated risk. Identifying intervention components that drive this effect in addition to developing tailored content for HASGB is needed.

Abstract
Disclosure of sexual identity and/or gender orientation is difficult for youth and is associated with elevated adverse health risks, particularly when there is parental rejection. There are limited studies conducted with Hispanic sexual minority youth (HSMY) and their families to understand the disclosure process, how the family unit changes and adapts following disclosure, and the implications for preventive interventions for HSMY and their families. This paper explores the lived experiences of youth and parents throughout the disclosure process. A phenomenological approach was used to interview 15 parent-youth dyads (N = 30) to understand what it means for Hispanic youth to disclose their sexual identity and/or gender orientation. Three themes that best described the experience emerged from the participant interviews; the experience of disclosing included intrapersonal challenges, navigating disclosure, and conceptualizing acceptance. The authors highlight implications for preventive interventions that can help these families undergoing the unique process of disclosure.

Abstract
PURPOSE SBRT (stereotactic body radiation therapy) is widely used as a curative treatment in tumoral lesions and has become a fundamental tool for the treatment of spine metastasis. In this study, we present survival and toxicity outcomes of spine SBRT after a 2-year follow-up. METHODS/PATIENTS Data from spine SBRT treatments performed at our institution between March 2012 and February 2020 was collected. Medical records, including demographic, primary tumor, and treatment characteristics were reviewed. Patient follow-up included clinical evaluation, imaging, and blood tests. Toxicity was recorded according to CTCAE v4.0. RESULTS We analyzed 73 consecutive spine SBRT treatments in 60 patients. 39.7% of the cases had primary breast cancer and 23.3% had prostate cancer. Most cases (87.7%) were treated with a single SBRT fraction of 16 Gy. Median follow-up was 26.1 months (range 1.7-78.6), and 1- and 2-year overall survival (OS) rates were 96.9% and 84.2%, respectively. Local control (LC) rates at 1- and 2-years were 76.3% and 70.6%, respectively. Multivariate analysis identified histology as a prognostic factor for both OS and LC. Patients who underwent spine SBRT 6 months after the spinal lesion diagnosis had LC at 2 years of 88%, vs 61.7% for those who underwent SBRT before this period. No grade III or higher toxicity was reported. The vertebral compression fracture (VCF) rate was 4.1%. CONCLUSION Spine SBRT at our institution showed a 2-year LC of 70.6%, without G3 toxicities. Delaying SBRT at least 6 months to administer systemic treatment was related to an improvement in local control.

Abstract
PURPOSE The objective of this trial was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of melatonin oral gel mouthwashes in the prevention and treatment of oral mucositis (OM) in patients treated with concurrent radiation and systemic treatment for head and neck cancer. METHODS Randomized, phase II, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial (1:1 ratio) of 3% melatonin oral gel mouthwashes vs. placebo, during IMRT (total dose ≥ 66 Gy) plus concurrent Q3W cisplatin or cetuximab. Primary endpoint: grade 3-4 OM or Severe Oral Mucositis (SOM) incidence by RTOG, NCI, and a composite RTOG-NCI scales. Secondary endpoints: SOM duration and grade 2-4 OM or Ulcerative Oral Mucositis (UOM) incidence and duration. RESULTS Eighty-four patients were included in the study. Concurrent systemic treatments were cisplatin (n = 54; 64%) or cetuximab (n = 30; 36%). Compared with the placebo arm, RTOG-defined SOM incidence was numerically lower in the 3% melatonin oral gel arm (53 vs. 64%, P = 0.36). In patients treated with cisplatin, assessed by the RTOG-NCI composite scale, both SOM incidence (44 vs. 78%; P = 0.02) and median SOM duration (0 vs. 22 days; P = 0.022) were significantly reduced in the melatonin arm. Median UOM duration assessed by the RTOG-NCI scale was also significantly shorter in the melatonin arm (49 vs. 73 days; P = 0.014). Rate of adverse events and overall response rate were similar between the two arms. CONCLUSIONS Treatment with melatonin oral gel showed a consistent trend to lower incidence and shorter SOM duration and shorter duration of UOM. These results warrant further investigation in phase III clinical trial.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Evidence on prospective bidirectional associations between e-cigarette and alcohol use among adolescents can inform prevention and policy but is largely absent from the literature. METHODS Data were drawn from a prospective cohort of students attending 10 Los Angeles high schools (N = 3396; baseline mean age = 14.1, SD = 0.4). Students completed surveys every 6-months from 2013 to 2017; 8 total waves. Analyses were restricted to (a) individuals who were never users of alcohol (N = 2394) or (b) individuals who were never users of e-cigarettes (N = 2704) at baseline. Repeated-measures, generalized linear mixed models were used to estimate the adjusted odds of past 6-month alcohol and e-cigarette initiation, in separate models. RESULTS Among alcohol never-users at baseline, 15.7 % (N = 375) initiated alcohol use over the study period. Compared to never-users of e-cigarettes, those who reported use of e-cigarettes had 3.5 times the odds of subsequently initiating alcohol use in the following wave (OR = 3.54; 95 % CI: 2.81, 4.47). Stronger associations were observed for males (OR = 4.94; 95 % CI: 3.78, 6.45) than for females (OR = 3.21; 95 % CI: 2.33, 4.41; pinteraction = 0.04). Among e-cigarette never-users at baseline, 26.3 % (N = 709) initiated e-cigarette use over the study period. Compared to never-users of alcohol, those who reported use of alcohol had 3.2 times the odds of subsequently initiating e-cigarette use in the following wave (OR = 3.23; 95 % CI: 2.68, 3.89). This association did not differ by gender. CONCLUSIONS E-cigarette and alcohol use can be markers to identify youth at risk for future alcohol and e-cigarette use, respectively. Research examining mechanisms underlying these associations is needed to infer causality.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The aim of the present study was to evaluate the in vitro biocompatibility of Theracal PT, Theracal LC, and MTA Angelus, considered as bioactive materials used for vital pulp treatment, on human dental pulp stem cells (hDPSCs). MATERIALS AND METHODS Human dental pulp stem cells (hDPSCs) were isolated from third molars, and material eluates were prepared (undiluted, 1:2, and 1:4 ratios). The hDPSC cytotoxicity, adhesion, morphology, viability, and cell migration were assessed. The mineralization nodule formation was determined by Alizarin red S staining (ARS). The odonto/osteogenic differentiation potential was assessed by osteo/odontogenic marker expression real-time qPCR. The chemical composition and ion release of the vital pulp materials were determined by energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) and inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), respectively. Statistical differences were assessed by ANOVA and Tukey's test (p < 0.05). RESULTS The three vital pulp materials showed variable levels of calcium, tungsten, silicon, and zirconium release and in their chemical composition. Cytocompatibility assays revealed higher hDPSC viability and migration rates when treated with Theracal PT than with Theracal LC. The lowest cell adhesion and spreading were observed in all Theracal LC-treated groups, whereas the highest were observed when treated with MTA. Theracal PT and MTA promoted the upregulation of DSPP and RUNX2 gene expression (p < 0.05). After 21 days, both MTA Angelus and Theracal PT-treated cells exhibited a significantly higher mineralized nodule formation than the negative control (p < 0.05). CONCLUSIONS This study demonstrates the favorable in vitro cytocompatibility and bioactive properties of the recently introduced Theracal PT and the well-established MTA Angelus on hDPSCs, as opposed to Theracal LC. More studies, including in vivo animal testing are suggested before these new formulations might be used in the clinical setting. CLINICAL RELEVANCE Theracal PT is a new material that could be clinically suitable for vital pulp therapy. Further studies considering its biocompatibility and bioactivity are necessary.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to evaluate the microstructural composition, ion release, cytocompatibility, and mineralization potential of Bio-C Sealer ION+ (BCI) and EndoSequence BC Sealer HiFlow (BCHiF), compared with AH Plus (AHP), in contact with human periodontal ligament cells (hPDLCs). MATERIALS AND METHODS The sealers' ionic composition and release were assessed using energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), respectively. For the biological assays, hPDLCs were isolated from third molars, and sealer extracts were prepared (undiluted, 1:2, and 1:4 ratios). An MTT assay, wound-healing assay, and cell morphology and adhesion analysis were performed. Activity-related gene expression was determined using RT-qPCR, and mineralization potential was assessed using Alizarin Red staining (ARS). Statistical analyses were performed using one-way ANOVA and Tukey's post hoc test (α < 0.05). RESULTS The three sealers exhibited variable levels of silicon, calcium, zirconium, and tungsten release and in their composition. Both BCI and BCHiF groups showed positive results in cytocompatibility assays, unlike AHP. The BCHiF group showed an upregulation of CAP (p < 0.01), CEMP1, ALP, and RUNX2 (p < 0.001) compared with the negative control, while the BCI group showed an upregulation of CEMP1 (p < 0.01), CAP, and RUNX2 (p < 0.001). Both groups also exhibited a greater mineralization potential than the negative and positive controls (p < 0.001). CONCLUSIONS The calcium silicate-based sealers considered in the present in vitro study exhibited a high calcium ion release, adequate cytocompatibility, upregulated osteo/cementogenic gene expression, and increased mineralized nodule formation in contact with hPDLCs. CLINICAL RELEVANCE From a biological perspective, BCI and BCHiF could be clinically suitable for root canal filling.

Abstract
Sexual minorities report poorer mental health relative to heterosexual counterparts, but this is underexplored in Latinx youth. This study compares internalizing symptoms and externalizing behaviors in Latinx adolescents with Same Sex Behaviors (LASSB) to their Latinx adolescent peers who did not report same sex behaviors (non-LASSB). It also explores the moderating role of biculturalism on the relationship between internalizing symptoms and externalizing behaviors, and same-sex behaviors. Individual-level baseline data (Total N=1,634; LASSB n=195) from five trials of a preventive intervention for Latinx adolescents were synthesized. Normal and clinical levels of internalizing symptoms and externalizing behaviors were determined, and logistic regression models were conducted to determine the odds of LASSB reporting these behaviors relative to non-LASSB. Additional adjusted models tested for the moderating effect of biculturalism. LASSB reported significantly higher odds of normal levels of all externalizing behaviors and clinical levels of anxious/depressed compared to non-LASSB. Biculturalism significantly moderated the association between same-sex behavior and clinical levels of internalizing behaviors; however, in subgroup analyses among LASSB, biculturalism did not significantly predict any of these behaviors. Latinx adolescents exhibited mental health disparities by same-sex behavior. Biculturalism may be an important indicator for describing these disparities in LASSB and should be further explored.

Introduction
Adherence to continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) may delay cognitive decline in older adults with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and amnestic mild cognitive impairment (MCI), defined as deficits in memory that do not significantly impact daily functioning. The aim of this analysis was to identify predictors of CPAP adherence in this population.
Methods
Data are from Memories 2, an ongoing multisite clinical trial on the effect of treatment of moderate to severe OSA on cognitive decline in older adults 65-85 years of age who have amnestic MCI. Unadjusted and adjusted linear models were used to examine predictors of mean hours of CPAP use at 3 months. Predictors were age, sex (male/female), race (White/Non-White), education (more than high school, less than high school), Apnea-hypopnea index (AHI), Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS), and CPAP Comfort and Confidence scores at 7 days. Collinearity in the adjusted model for CPAP use at 3 months was examined using the variance inflation factor.
Results
Of 57 participants, most were male (54%), White (72%), with a mean age of 66.3 years (SD: 6.1). Mean AHI in this sample was 35.1 (SD: 19.9), with mean daily hours of CPAP use at 3 months 5.3 hours (SD: 2.3). Adjusted linear model results demonstrated that younger age (β=-0.13, SE=0.04, p=0.0032), White race (β=2.56, SE=0.58, p<0.0001), and higher 7-day CPAP Confidence score (β=0.48, SE=0.17, p=0.0086) were significantly associated with CPAP use at 3 months. Sex, education, AHI, ESS, and CPAP comfort were not statistically significant predictors of adherence.
Conclusion
Tailored interventions to increase self-efficacy during the first 7 days of CPAP treatment, especially in Non-Whites and those older than 74 years, may improve long-term CPAP adherence in older adults with amnestic MCI.

Abstract
We measure neutrino charged-current quasielasticlike scattering on hydrocarbon at high statistics using the wideband Neutrinos at the Main Injector beam with neutrino energy peaked at 6 GeV. The double-differential cross section is reported in terms of muon longitudinal (p_{∥}) and transverse (p_{⊥}) momentum. Cross section contours versus lepton momentum components are approximately described by a conventional generator-based simulation, however, discrepancies are observed for transverse momenta above 0.5 GeV/c for longitudinal momentum ranges 3-5 and 9-20 GeV/c. The single differential cross section versus momentum transfer squared (dσ/dQ_{QE}^{2}) is measured over a four-decade range of Q^{2} that extends to 10 GeV^{2}. The cross section turnover and falloff in the Q^{2} range 0.3-10 GeV^{2} is not fully reproduced by generator predictions that rely on dipole form factors. Our measurement probes the axial-vector content of the hadronic current and complements the electromagnetic form factor data obtained using electron-nucleon elastic scattering. These results help oscillation experiments because they probe the importance of various correlations and final-state interaction effects within the nucleus, which have different effects on the visible energy in detectors.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION The treatment of metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) has changed significantly in recent years. Inhibitors of androgen receptors have shown especially significant benefits in overall (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS), with a good toxicity profile. Treatment selection depends on the patient's individual clinical, radiological, and biological characteristics. OBJECTIVE To describe treatment outcomes (efficacy, toxicity) in a cohort of patients with mCRPC in Spain. MATERIALS AND METHODS Multicenter, retrospective study of patients with mCRPC included in a database of the Urological Tumour Working Group (URONCOR) of the Spanish Society of Radiation Oncology (SEOR). Metastatic CRPC was defined according to the prostate cancer working group 3 (PCWG3) criteria. The Kaplan-Meier technique was used to evaluate OS and the Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events (CTCAE, v.4.0) were used to assess toxicity. Univariate and multivariate Cox regression analyses were performed to identify the factors significantly associated with OS. RESULTS A total of 314 patients from 17 hospitals in Spain diagnosed with mCRPC between June 2010 and September 2017 were included in this study. Mean age at diagnosis was 68 years (range 45-89). At a median follow-up of 35 months, OS at 1, 3, and 5 years were 92%, 38%, and 28%, respectively. Grades 1-2 and grade 3 toxicity rates were, respectively, 68% and 19%. No grade 4 toxicities were observed. On the multivariate analysis, the following factors were significantly associated with OS: age (hazard ratio [HR] 0.42, p = 0.010), PSA value at diagnosis of mCRPC (HR 0.55, p = 0.008), and Gleason score (HR 0.61, p = 0.009). CONCLUSIONS Age, Gleason score, and PSA at diagnosis of mCRPC are independently associated with overall survival in patients with mCRPC. The efficacy and toxicity outcomes in this patient cohort treated in radiation oncology departments in Spain are consistent with previous reports.
