Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the mid-term efficacy of ABO incompatible living donor kidney transplantation (ABOi-KT) based on the results of routine renal biopsy for transplantation. Methods: Retrospective collection of clinical data from 23 pairs of ABOi-KT donors and recipients at the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University from July 2015 to November 2021. ABOi-KT was performed on recipients after desensitization treatment, and the results of routine kidney transplant biopsy at 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months after surgery were analyzed. Combined with blood type antibody levels and renal function recovery, the mid-term efficacy of ABOi-KT was evaluated. Results: Among the 23 recipients, there were 19 males and 4 females; age range from 19 to 47 years old [(29.6±6.7) years old], all underwent ABOi-KT successfully after receiving desensitization treatment. The follow-up time was (44.6±22.4) months, of which 22 cases were followed up for more than 1 year. The incidence rates of rejection reactions at 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months after surgery were 15.0% (3/20), 11.1% (1/9), 7.7% (1/13), 25.0% (3/12), and 12.5% (1/8), respectively. For receptors with rejection reactions, targeted anti-rejection therapy was performed based on clinical symptoms and various indicators. Borderline T cell mediated rejection (TCMR) can be converted to mild tubular inflammation after anti-rejection treatment. The positive rate of complement C4d in peritubular capillaries was 95.0% (19/20) one week after surgery, and the positive rate of complement C4d was 100% at 3 and 12 months after surgery. The cumulative survival rates at 1, 3, 5, and 7 years after surgery were all 100%. The cumulative survival rates at 1, 3, 5, and 7 years after kidney transplantation were 100%, 93.3%, 84.0%, and 84.0%, respectively. Except for 2 recipients who underwent transplantation in 2017 and experienced kidney failure at 30 and 49 months after surgery, all other transplanted kidneys survived. Conclusions: The results of routine renal transplant biopsy show that ABOi-KT has a good mid-term therapeutic effect. The pathological changes of ABOi-KT can be dynamically observed through routine renal transplant biopsy and targeted treatment for rejection reactions can be provided accordingly.

Abstract
Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are stem/progenitor cells capable of self-renewal and differentiation into osteoblasts, chondrocytes and adipocytes. The transformation of multipotent MSCs to adipocytes mainly involves two subsequent steps from MSCs to preadipocytes and further preadipocytes into adipocytes, in which the process MSCs are precisely controlled to commit to the adipogenic lineage and then mature into adipocytes. Previous studies have shown that the master transcription factors C/enhancer-binding protein alpha and peroxisome proliferation activator receptor gamma play vital roles in adipogenesis. However, the mechanism underlying the adipogenic differentiation of MSCs is not fully understood. Here, the current knowledge of adipogenic differentiation in MSCs is reviewed, focusing on signaling pathways, noncoding RNAs and epigenetic effects on DNA methylation and acetylation during MSC differentiation. Finally, the relationship between maladipogenic differentiation and diseases is briefly discussed. We hope that this review can broaden and deepen our understanding of how MSCs turn into adipocytes.

Abstract
In low-pressure wax injection molding, cooling time refers to the period during which the molten plastic inside the mold solidifies and cools down to a temperature where it can be safely ejected without deformation. However, cooling efficiency for the mass production of injection-molded wax patterns is crucial. This work aims to investigate the impact of varying surface roughness on the inner walls of the cooling channel on the cooling efficiency of an aluminum-filled epoxy resin rapid tool. It was found that the cooling time for the injection-molded products can be determined by the surface roughness according to the proposed prediction equation. Employing fiber laser processing on high-speed steel rods allows for the creation of microstructures with different surface roughness levels. Results demonstrate a clear link between the surface roughness of cooling channel walls and cooling time for molded wax patterns. Employing an aluminum-filled epoxy resin rapid tool with a surface roughness of 4.9 µm for low-pressure wax injection molding can save time, with a cooling efficiency improvement of approximately 34%. Utilizing an aluminum-filled epoxy resin rapid tool with a surface roughness of 4.9 µm on the inner walls of the cooling channel can save the cooling time by up to approximately 60%. These findings underscore the significant role of cooling channel surface roughness in optimizing injection molding processes for enhanced efficiency.

Abstract
PURPOSE Acknowledging the associated risk factors may have a positive impact on reducing the incidence of ectopic pregnancy (EP). In recent years, body mass index (BMI) has been mentioned in research. However, few studies are available and controversial on the relationship between EP and BMI. METHODS We retrospectively studied the EP women as a case group and the deliveries as a control group in the central hospital of Wuhan during 2017 ~ 2021. χ2 test of variables associated with ectopic pregnancy was performed to find differences. Univariate and multivariate binary logistic regression analysis was conducted to analyze the association of the variables of age, parity, history of induced abortion, history of ectopic pregnancy, history of spontaneous abortion, history of appendectomy surgery and BMI (< 18.5 kg/m2, 18.5 ~ 24.9 kg/m2, 25 kg/m2 ~ 29.9 kg/m2, ≥ 30 kg /m2) with EP. RESULTS They were 659 EP and 1460 deliveries. The variables of age, parity, history of induced abortion, history of ectopic pregnancy and BMI were different significantly(P < 0.05). Multivariate analysis showed that the variables of age > 35 years old [(OR (Odds Ratio), 5.415; 95%CI (Confidence Interval), 4.006 ~ 7.320, P < 0.001], history of ectopic pregnancy (OR, 3.944; 95%CI, 2.405 ~ 6.467; P < 0.001), history of induced abortion(OR, 3.365; 95%CI, 2.724 ~ 4.158, P < 0.001) and low BMI (< 18.5 kg/m2) (OR, 1.929; 95%CI, 1.416 ~ 2.628, P < 0.001])increased the risk of EP. CONCLUSION The history of ectopic pregnancy, history of induced abortion and age > 35 years old were the risk factors with EP. In addition to these traditional factors, we found low BMI (< 18.5 kg/m2) with women may increase the risk to EP.

Abstract
Notwithstanding recent advances in direct antiviral specialists (DAAs) for hepatitis C infection (HCV), it is yet a pervasive overall issue in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Exosomal microRNAs (miRNAs) is associated with HCV infection. However, it remains unknown how miRNAs respond following biologic disease-modifying antirheumatic drug (bDMARD) and targeted synthetic DMARD (tsDMARD) treatment in HCV patients with RA. We prospectively recruited RA patients taking anti-tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) inhibitors rituximab (RTX) and tofacitinib. The serum hepatitis C viral load was measured using real-time quantitative reverse transcriptase PCR before and 6 months after bDMARD and tsDMARD therapy. HCV RNA replication activity was measured using an HCV-tricistronic replicon reporter system, and quantitative analysis of hsa-mir-122-5p and hsa-mir-155-5p in patients was performed using quantitative PCR. HCV RNA replication in hepatocytes was not affected by tofacitinib or TNF-α inhibitor treatment. Hsa-mir-155-5p and hsa-mir-122-5p were significantly expanded in RA patients with HCV as compared with those without HCV. We observed a dramatic increase in hsa-mir-122-5p and a decrease in hsa-mir-155-5p expression levels in patients taking RTX in comparison with other treatments. Finally, a reduction in hsa-mir-122-5p and an increase in hsa-mir-155-5p were observed in a time-dependent manner after tofacitinib and DAA therapy in RA-HCV patients. These results showed that hsa-mir-155-5p and hsa-mir-122-5p were significantly increased in RA-HCV patients as compared with those without HCV after taking tofacitinib. Hsa-mir-155-5p and hsa-mir-122-5p may be potential biomarkers for treatment efficacy in RA patients with HCV.

Abstract
Three-dimensional printing is widely used for manufacturing a variety of functional components. However, the 3D printing machine substantially limits the size of the functional components. Rotary friction welding (RFW) is a possible solution to this problem. In addition, there is a notable scarcity of research directed toward the domain knowledge of RFW involving dissimilar polymer rods containing metal powder. In this study, two welding specimens fabricated by polylactic acid (PLA)-containing copper powder and PLA-containing aluminum powder were joined using a turning machine. After RFW, a bending test and a Shore A surface hardness test were performed to investigate the weld quality. It was found that the bending strength of the welded parts fabricated by RFW of PLA and PLA-containing Al powder rods can be enhanced by about 57.5% when the welded part is placed at 45 °C. Surface hardness test results showed that the surface hardness of the weld interface is better than that of the 3D printed parts, and the average surface hardness of the weld interface from RFW of PLA and PLA is the highest. The surface hardness of the weld joint is about 3% higher than that of the base material. The surface hardness of the heat-affected zone is about 3% lower than that of the base material. The average peak temperature of the welded joint is the highest in the RFW of PLA-containing Al powder and PLA-containing Al powder rods. The average peak temperature of the weld joint can be as high as 160 °C. The average peak temperature of the welded joint is the highest in the RFW of PLA-containing Cu powder and PLA-containing Cu powder rods. The average peak temperature of the welded joint can be as high as 144 °C. A technical database was built for the selection of ambient temperatures used for the RFW of dissimilar polymer rods containing metal powder and three base materials.

Abstract
Faba bean is an important cool-season edible legume crop that is constantly threatened by abiotic stresses such as drought. The basic leucine zipper (bZIP) gene family is one of the most abundant and diverse families of transcription factors in plants. It regulates plant growth and development and plays an important role in the response to biotic and abiotic stresses. In this study, we identified 18 members of the faba bean bZIP transcription factor family at the genome-wide level based on previous faba bean drought stress transcriptome sequencing data. A phylogenetic tree was constructed to group the 18 VfbZIP proteins into eight clades. Analysis of cis-acting elements in the promoter region suggested that these 18 VfbZIPs may be involved in regulating abiotic stress responses such as drought. Transcriptome data showed high expression of seven genes (VfbZIP1, VfbZIP2, VfbZIP5, VfbZIP7, VfbZIP15, VfbZIP17, and VfbZIP18) in the drought-tolerant cultivar under drought stress, in which VfbZIP1, VfbZIP2, and VfbZIP5 were consistently expressed as detected by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) compared to the transcriptome data. Ectopic overexpression of the three VfbZIPs in tobacco, based on the potato Virus X (PVX) vector, revealed that VfbZIP5 enhanced the drought tolerance. Overexpressed VfbZIP5 in plants showed lower levels of proline (PRO), malondialdehyde (MDA), and peroxidase (POD) compared to those overexpressing an empty vector under 10 days of drought stress. Protein-protein interaction (PPI) analysis showed that VfbZIP5 interacted with seven proteins in faba bean, including VfbZIP7 and VfbZIP10. The results depict the importance of VfbZIPs in response to drought stress, and they would be useful for the improvement of drought tolerance.

Abstract
Objectives: This study sought to describe our institutional experience of repeated percutaneous stellate ganglion blockade (R-SGB) as a treatment option for drug-refractory electrical storm in patients with nonischemic cardiomyopathy (NICM). Methods: This prospective observational study included 8 consecutive NICM patients who had drug-refractory electrical storm and underwent R-SGB between June 1, 2021 and January 31, 2022. Lidocaine (5 ml, 1%) was injected in the vicinity of the left stellate ganglion under the guidance of ultrasound, once per day for 7 days. Data including clinical characteristics, immediate and long-term outcomes, and procedure related complications were collected. Results: The mean age was (51.5±13.6) years. All patients were male. 5 patients were diagnosed as dilated cardiomyopathy, 2 patients as arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy and 1 patient as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. The left ventricular ejection fraction was 37.8%±6.6%. After the treatment of R-SGB, 6 (75%) patients were free of electrical storm. 24 hours Holter monitoring showed significant reduction in ventricular tachycardia (VT) episodes from 43.0 (13.3, 276.3) to 1.0 (0.3, 34.0) on the first day following R-SGB (P<0.05) and 0.5 (0.0, 19.3) after whole R-SGB process (P<0.05). There were no procedure-related major complications. The mean follow-up was (4.8±1.1) months, and the median time of recurrent VT was 2 months. Conclusion: Minimally invasive R-SGB is a safe and effective method to treat electrical storm in patients with NICM.

Abstract
Rotary friction welding (RFW) could result in lower welding temperature, energy consumption, or environmental effects as compared with fusion welding processes. RFW is a green manufacturing technology with little environmental pollution in the field of joining methods. Thus, RFW is widely employed to manufacture green products. In general, the welding quality of welded parts, such as tensile strength, bending strength, and surface hardness is affected by the peak temperature in the weld joint during the RFW of dissimilar plastic rods. However, hitherto little is known about the domain knowledge of RFW of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) and polycarbonate (PC) polymer rods. To prevent random efforts and energy consumption, a green method to predict the peak temperature in the weld joint of dissimilar RFW of ABS and PC rods was proposed. The main objective of this work is to investigate the peak temperature in the weld joint during the RFW using COMSOL multiphysics software for establishing an empirical technical database of RFW of dissimilar polymer rods under different rotational speeds. The main findings include that the peak temperature affecting the mechanical properties of RFW of PC and ABS can be determined by the simulation model proposed in this work. The average error of predicting the peak temperature using COMSOL software for five different rotational speeds is about 15 °C. The mesh element count of 875,688 is the optimal number of meshes for predicting peak temperature in the weld joint. The bending strength of the welded part (y) using peak welding temperature (x) can be predicted by the equation of y = -0.019 x2 + 5.081x - 200.75 with a correlation coefficient of 0.8857. The average shore A surface hardness, impact energy, and bending strength of the welded parts were found to be increased with increasing the rotational speed of RFW.

Abstract
Rotary friction welding (RFW) is a green manufacturing technology with environmental pollution in the field of joining methods. In practice, the welding quality of the friction-welded parts was affected by the peak temperature in the weld joint during the RFW of dissimilar plastic rods. In industry, polycarbonate (PC) and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) are two commonly used plastics in consumer products. In this study, the COMSOL multiphysics software was employed to estimate the peak temperature in the weld joint during the RFW of PC and ABS rods. After RFW, the mechanical performance and microstructural evolution of friction-welded parts were investigated experimentally. The average Shore A surface hardness, flexural strength, and impact energy are directly proportional to the rotation speed of the RFW. The quality of RFW is excellent, since the welding strength in the weld joint is better than that of the ABS base materials. The fracture occurs in the ABS rods since their brittleness is higher than that of the PC rods. The average percentage error of predicting the peak temperature using COMSOL software using a mesh element count of 875,688 for five different rotation speeds is about 16.6%. The differential scanning calorimetry curve for the friction-welded parts welded at a rotation speed of 1350 rpm shows an endothermic peak between 400 to 440 °C and an exothermic peak between 600 to 700 °C, showing that the friction-welded parts have better mechanical properties.

Abstract

At present, deep learning research has the advantages of high efficiency and accuracy, but it also has limitations such as weak interpretability and insufficient data volume. This paper reviewed the proposal and development of deep learning, the application in orthodontic diagnosis and treatment, as well as the limitations and countermeasures of the popularization, and prospect of the future research.

Abstract
Friction welding (FW) FW of dissimilar polymer rods is capable of manufacturing green products swiftly and economically. In this study, a green manufacturing technique of joining dissimilar polymer rods was proposed, and the effects of rotational speed on the joint characteristics of friction-welded dissimilar polymer rods fabricated by the fused deposition modeling process were investigated experimentally. The shore surface hardness test, impact test, three-point bending test, and differential scanning calorimetry analysis were carried out on the weld joints. The impact energy for FW of polylactic acid (PLA) and PLA, PLA and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), PLA and PLA filled with glass fiber (GF), PLA and PLA filled with carbon fiber (CF), PLA and polycarbonate (PC), and PLA and polyamide (PA) rods can be increased by approximately 1.5, 1.5, 1.3, 1.3, 2.1, and 1.5 times by increasing the rotational speed from 330 rpm to 1350 rpm. The bending strength for FW of PLA and PLA, PLA and ABS, PLA and PLA filled with GF, PLA and PLA filled with CF, PLA and PC, and PLA and PA rods can be increased by approximately 1.3, 1.7, 1.3, 1.2, 1.2, and 1.2 times by increasing the rotational speed from 330 rpm to 1350 rpm. However, the surface hardness of the weld bead is not proportional to the rotational speed. The average surface hardness of the weld bead was increased by approximately 5% compared to the surface hardness of the welding base materials.

Abstract
Objectives To investigate the differences between the vector vaccine ChAdOx1 nCoV-19/AZD1222 (Oxford-AstraZeneca) and mRNA-based vaccine mRNA-1273 (Moderna) in patients with autoimmune rheumatic diseases (AIRD), and to explore the cell-cell interactions between high and low anti-SARS-CoV-2 IgG levels in patients with rheumatic arthritis (RA) using single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq). Methods From September 16 to December 10, 2021, we consecutively enrolled 445 participants (389 patients with AIRD and 56 healthy controls), of whom 236 were immunized with AZD1222 and 209 with mRNA-1273. The serum IgG antibodies to the SARS-CoV-2 receptor-binding domain was quantified by electrochemiluminescence immunoassay at 4-6 weeks after vaccination. Moreover, peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) were isolated from RA patients at 4-6 weeks after vaccination for scRNA-seq and further analyzed by CellChat. ScRNA-seq of PBMCs samples from GSE201534 in the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database were also extracted for analysis. Results The anti-SARS-CoV-2 IgG seropositivity rate was 85.34% for AIRD patients and 98.20% for healthy controls. The anti-SARS-CoV-2 IgG level was higher in patients receiving mRNA-1273 than those receiving AZD1222 (β: 35.25, 95% CI: 14.81-55.68, p=0.001). Prednisolone-equivalent dose >5 mg/day and methotrexate use in AIRD patients, and non-anti-tumor necrosis factor-α biologics and Janus kinase inhibitor use in RA patients were associated with inferior immunogenicity. ScRNA-seq revealed CD16-monocytes were predominant in RA patients with high anti-SARS-CoV2-IgG antibodies, and enriched pathways related to antigen presentation via MHC class II were found. HLA-DRA and CD4 interaction was enhanced in high anti-SARS-CoV2-IgG group. Conclusions mRNA-1273 and AZD1222 vaccines exhibited differential immunogenicity in AIRD patients. Enriched pathways related to antigen presentation via MHC class II in CD16-monocytes might be associated with higher anti-SARS-CoV2-IgG level in RA patients and further study is warranted.

Abstract
BACKGROUND There has been a rapid increase in the number of human adenovirus type 7 (HAdV-7) and invasive pulmonary fungal infections (IPFIs) co-infection. METHODS In this study, we included patients with confirmed HAdV-7 infection during the period from 2018 to 2019 to explore clinical characteristics of severe HAdV-7 pneumonia combined with IPFIs. RESULTS Among the 143 patients, 35 cases were co-infected with IPFIs. Others were assigned to the control group (n Z 108). Patients wereprone to be complicated with respiratory failure, heart failure and hemophagocytic syndromein IPFIs group. Thirty-one species of fungi were detected in the IPFIs group, among whichAspergillus was the most common species. Compared to control group, patients had lowerlevels of WBC, CD3þ T lymphocyte counts and CD19þ B lymphocyte counts in IPFIs group. CONCLUSION Aspergillus is the most common species in IPFIs combined with severe HAdV-7 pneumonia. For children with severe HAdV-7 pneumonia who are younger, have a long course of disease, and have been admitted to the ICU, we should predict the occurrence of IPFIs when there is multi-system dysfunction and the reduction of CD3+ T lymphocyte counts and CD19+ B lymphocyte counts in course of their disease.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the acute and long-term outcome of catheter ablation for the treatment of ventricular tachycardia (VT) in patients with arrhythmogenic left ventricular cardiomyopathy (ALVC). Methods: This retrospective, cross-sectional study enrolled ALVC patients undergoing radiofrequency ablation for the treatment of VT at the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University from January 2011 to December 2018 and collected their clinical characteristics and intraoperative electrophysiological examination. Patients were followed up every 6 months after radiofrequency ablation until August 2021. Echocardiographic results and VT recurrence post radiofrequency ablation were analysed. Results: Totally 12 patients were enrolled (mean age: (42±15) years, 11 males(11/12)). The mean of left ventricular end diastolic diameter (LVDd) and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) were (51±5)mm and (65±5)%, respectively. Twelve VTs were induced in 10 patients during the electrophysiological study, and the mean tachycardia cycle length was (293±65) ms. Three-dimensional substrate mapping revealed the diseased area at endocardial site in one patient, at epicardial sites in the other 11 patients (involved endocardial sites in 2 cases) with the basal part near the mitral annulus being the predilection for the substrate (10/11). After the catheter ablation at the endocardial and epicardial sites respectively, the complete procedure endpoint was achieved in all patients (VT cannot be induced post ablation). The median follow-up time was 65 (25, 123) months. One patient was lost to follow-up, and the other 11 patients survived without VT. No significant cardiac function deterioration was detected by the echocardiographic examination ((51±5)mm vs. (52±5)mm, P>0.05 for LVDd, (65±5)% vs. (60±6)%, P>0.05 for LVEF) at the end of follow-up. Conclusion: After radiofrequency ablation, the complete procedure endpoint is achieved in ALVC patients, and the catheter ablation provides long-term ventricular tachycardia control during the long-term follow-up.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To explore the clinical value of contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant subpleural pulmonary lesions (SPLs). METHODS Among 959 patients with SPLs who were scheduled to undergo ultrasound-guided puncture in our department between January 2019 and June 2019, 506 patients were included and their B-mode ultrasound and CEUS features, including the lesion's location, size, margin, echo, perfusion pattern of ultrasound contrast agent, degree of enhancement, homogeneity, vascular signs, and necrosis, were retrospectively investigated. All malignant cases were diagnosed by pathology, while benign cases were diagnosed by two respiratory physicians after comprehensive analysis of pathology, etiology, imaging, and clinical symptoms. Statistical differences in these features between the benign and malignant groups were then analyzed. RESULTS There were 506 cases in this study, including 219 benign cases and 287 malignant cases. Among them, 351 were males and 155 were females, with an average age of 59 ± 16 years. There were statistically significant differences between benign and malignant groups in the perfusion pattern, the degree of enhancement, and vascular signs. The features of the malignant group included local-to-whole perfusion pattern, hypo-enhancement, and curly hair sign, while those of the benign group included a centrifugal perfusion pattern, iso-enhancement and hyper-enhancement, and dendritic sign. There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in homogeneity and necrosis. CONCLUSIONS CEUS enhancement mode is different between benign and malignant SPLs, which can provide supplementary information for the differential diagnosis of SPLs in the existing imaging diagnosis.

Abstract
Inspired by Roush's pioneering work on rare sugars, we have developed a scalable, stereoselective, de novo synthesis of orthogonally protected C2-fluoro digitoxose and cymarose, utilizing Sharpless kinetic resolution and organocatalytic fluorination as key steps. The utility of this strategy is demonstrated by the synthesis of a fluorinated analogue of digoxin, which indicates the fluorine on the sugar ring may have a significant impact on biological activity.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Cross-border malaria in Laiza City of Myanmar seriously affected Yingjiang County of China and compromised reaching the goal of malaria elimination by 2020. Since 2017, a pilot project on 3 + 1 strategy of joint cross-border malaria prevention and control was carried out for building a malaria buffer in these border areas. Here, 3 were the three preventive lines in China where different focalized approaches of malaria elimination were applied and + 1 was a defined border area in Myanmar where the integrated measures of malaria control were adopted. METHODS A 5-year retrospective analysis (2015 to 2019) was conducted that included case detection, parasite prevalence and vector surveillance. Descriptive statistics was used and the incidence or rates were compared. The annual parasite incidence and the parasite prevalence rate in + 1 area of Myanmar, the annual importation rate in Yingjiang County of China and the density of An. minimus were statistically significant indictors to assess the effectiveness of the 3 + 1 strategy. RESULTS In + 1 area of Myanmar from 2015 to 2019, the averaged annual parasite incidence was (59.11 ± 40.73)/1000 and Plasmodium vivax accounted for 96.27% of the total confirmed cases. After the pilot project, the annual parasite incidence dropped 89% from 104.77/1000 in 2016 to 12.18/1000 in 2019, the microscopic parasite prevalence rate dropped 100% from 0.34% in 2017 to zero in 2019 and the averaged density of An. Minimus per trap-night dropped 93% from 1.92 in June to 0.13 in September. The submicroscopic parasite prevalence rate increased from 1.15% in 2017 to 1.66% in 2019 without significant difference between the two surveys (P = 0.084). In Yingjiang County of China, neither indigenous nor introduced case was reported and 100% cases were imported from Myanmar since 2017. The averaged annual importation rate from 2015 to 2019 was (0.47 ± 0.15)/1000. After the pilot project, the annual importation rate dropped from 0.59/1000 in 2016 to 0.28/1000 in 2019 with an overall reduction of 53% in the whole county. The reduction was 67% (57.63/1000 to 18.01/1000) in the first preventive line, 52% (0.20/1000 to 0.10/1000) in the second preventive line and 36% (0.32/1000 to 0.22/1000) in the third preventive line. The averaged density of An. Minimus per trap-night in the first preventive line dropped 94% from 2.55 in June to 0.14 in September, without significant difference from that of + 1 area of Myanmar (Z value = - 1.18, P value = 0.24). CONCLUSION The pilot project on 3 + 1 strategy has been significantly effective in the study areas and a buffer zone of border malaria was successfully established between Laiza City of Myanmar and Yingjiang County of China.

Abstract
Phylogenetic relationships of the subgenus Oxyphortica were reconstructed based on two mitochondrial genes (COI and ND2). The results revealed the paraphyly of Oxyphortica and supported high levels of cryptic diversity within this subgenus. By integrating morphological characteristics and molecular evidence, we identified 17 new species as members of Oxyphortica: S. (O.) amphigya sp. nov., S. (O.) armillata sp. nov., S. (O.) ashima sp. nov., S. (O.) bawo sp. nov., S. (O.) crypta sp. nov., S. (O.) gelea sp. nov., S. (O.) hengduanmontana sp. nov., S. (O.) jinmingi sp. nov., S. (O.) mengbalanaxi sp. nov., S. (O.) mouig sp. nov., S. (O.) setipes sp. nov., S. (O.) shangrila sp. nov., S. (O.) tsauri sp. nov., S. (O.) valleculata sp. nov., S. (O.) wanhei sp. nov., S. (O.) yangjin sp. nov. and S. (O.) hypophaia sp. nov. To test the early morphological identifications and confirm the species boundaries, different species delimitation methods, including Automatic Barcode Gap Discovery (ABGD) and Bayesian Phylogenetics and Phylogeography (BP&P), were used, together with traditional distance. All species boundaries were clearly defined. As Oxyphortica species are mainly distributed across Southwest China (e.g., 20 spp. from the Hengduan Mountains), the complex climate and topographic landforms of the area may be responsible for the high levels of species diversity and endemism.

Abstract
Four hemicyanine probes for selectively detecting sulfites (HSO3−/SO32−) have been constructed by the condensation reaction of 7-substituted (CN, Br, H and OH) phenothiazine aldehyde with 1-ethyl-2,3,3-trimethylindolium iodide. All four probes show a fast and sensitive response to HSO3−/SO32−via a Michael addition, with a detection limit lower than 40 nM based on monitoring their UV/vis absorption changes. Although all four probes display an increase in fluorescence when responding to HSO3−/SO32−, the increment is larger for the probe with an electron-withdrawing group than the probe with an electron-donating group, except for Br. Thus, among four probes the 7-cyano probe (PI-CN) possesses the largest fluorescent response to HSO3−/SO32−, and the lowest detection limit (7.5 nM). More expediently and easily, a film and a test paper with PI-CN have been prepared to detect HSO3−/SO32− in a sample aqueous solution selectively. Finally, the detection of HSO3−/SO32− by PI-CN in biological environments has been demonstrated by cell imaging. Four 7-substituted phenothiazine hemicyanines display a substituent effect on the fluorescence response toward sulfites. The CN-substituted probe exhibits the best sensing behavior.![]()

Abstract
A direct regioselective benzoyloxylative dearomatization of both α- and β-naphthols by benzoyl peroxide under an air atmosphere, and radical inhibitor- and catalyst-free conditions at room temperature is described. The methodology provides a new efficient strategy for the construction of α-ketol derivatives bearing an oxo-quaternary carbon center from naphthols with good to excellent yields.

Abstract
Background US has proven valuable in the diagnosis of subpleural pulmonary lesions (SPLs); however, existing US indicators have limitations. Purpose To propose and validate a revised contrast-enhanced (CE) US indicator for differential diagnosis of benign and malignant SPLs and to compare its performance with existing CE US diagnostic criteria. Materials and Methods This prospective study (Chinese clinical trial registry, ChiCTR1800019828) enrolled patients with SPLs between May 2019 and August 2020. They were divided into a developmental cohort (DC) and a validation cohort (VC). In the DC, the optimal indicator was selected from five CE US indicators. In the VC, the selected indicator was compared with existing CE US diagnostic criteria using the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC). Pathologic analysis, microbial evidence, and clinical follow-up were used as reference standards for all SPLs. Results A total of 902 participants (DC, 424 participants; VC, 478 participants) with SPLs (mean age, 56 years ± 17; 593 men) were evaluated. The arrival time (AT) difference ratio proved to be the optimal indicator to distinguish benign from malignant SPLs. In the overall (regardless of lesion size), large (vertical diameter >3 cm), and small (vertical diameter ≤3 cm) lesion groups, the cutoff values of the AT difference ratio were 43%, 42%, and 50% and the AUCs obtained from the VC were 0.91 (95% CI: 0.88, 0.93), 0.97 (95% CI: 0.94, 0.98), and 0.77 (95% CI: 0.71, 0.83) respectively, which were higher than those of lesion-lung AT difference greater than 2.5 seconds (0.81 [P < .001], 0.85 [P < .001], and 0.7 [P = .005], respectively), lesion AT greater than 7.5 seconds (0.65 [P < .001], 0.64 [P < .001], and 0.63 [P < .001], respectively), and lesion AT greater than 10 seconds (0.67 [P < .001], 0.68 [P < .001], and 0.64 [P < .001] respectively). Conclusion The US contrast agent arrival time difference ratio enables better differentiation of benign and malignant subpleural lesions when compared with existing diagnostic criteria. Abstract
From the 95% aqueous ethanol extract of Murraya microphylla, five pairs of new carbazole alkaloid enantiomers, (+/-)-microphylines N-R (1a/1b-5a/5b), were isolated, together with 20 known carbazole alkaloids. The structures of the new compounds were determined by the HRMS and NMR spectroscopic data, along with the calculated electronic circular dichroism (ECD) and Mo2(AcO)4-induced CD data. The known compound (+)-mahanine (21) showed significant cytotoxicities against Du145, HepG2, HeLa, and HCT-116 cell lines, and its possible mechanism was deduced to target on phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase 2 (PCK2) protein via surface plasmon resonance (SPR) and molecular docking.

Abstract
Objective To develop and prospective validate an ultrasound (US) prediction model to differentiate between benign and malignant subpleural pulmonary lesions (SPLs). Methods This study was conducted retrospectively from July 2017 to December 2018 (development cohort [DC], n = 592) and prospectively from January to April 2019 (validation cohort [VC], n = 220). A total of 18 parameters of B-mode US and contrast-enhanced US (CEUS) were acquired. Based on the DC, a model was developed using binary logistic regression. Then its discrimination and calibration were verified internally in the DC and externally in the VC, and its diagnostic performance was compared with those of the existing US diagnostic criteria in the two cohorts. The reference criteria were from the comprehensive diagnosis of clinical-radiological-pathological made by two senior respiratory physicians. Results The model was eventually constructed with 6 parameters: the angle between lesion border and thoracic wall, basic intensity, lung-lesion arrival time difference, ratio of arrival time difference, vascular sign, and non-enhancing region type. In both internal and external validation, the model provided excellent discrimination of benign and malignant SPLs (C-statistic: 0.974 and 0.980 respectively), which is higher than that of “lesion-lung AT difference ≥ 2.5 s” (C-statistic: 0.842 and 0.777 respectively, P <0.001) and “AT ≥ 10 s” (C-statistic: 0.688 and 0.641 respectively, P <0.001) and the calibration curves of the model showed good agreement between actual and predictive malignancy probabilities. As for the diagnosis performance, the sensitivity and specificity of the model [sensitivity: 94.82% (DC) and 92.86% (VC); specificity: 92.42% (DC) and 92.59% (VC)] were higher than those of “lesion-lung AT difference ≥ 2.5 s” [sensitivity: 88.11% (DC) and 80.36% (VC); specificity: 80.30% (DC) and 75.00% (VC)] and “AT ≥ 10 s” [sensitivity: 64.94% (DC) and 61.61% (VC); specificity: 72.73% (DC) and 66.67% (VC)]. Conclusion The prediction model integrating multiple parameters of B-mode US and CEUS can accurately predict the malignancy probability, so as to effectively differentiate between benign and malignant SPLs, and has better diagnostic performance than the existing US diagnostic criteria. Abstract
We aimed to explore the value of contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) of the pleural cavity in locating catheters and identifying fibrous septa and to compare CEUS with multiple existing methods. We included 304 participants whose pleural effusion could not continue to be drained and compared the catheter-localization capabilities of empirical diagnosis, B-mode ultrasound with normal saline and CEUS, with computed tomography as the reference standard. CEUS performed the best (accuracy, 100%; sensitivity, 100%; specificity, 100%), followed by B-mode ultrasound with normal saline (accuracy, 77.78%; sensitivity, 62.5%; specificity, 100%), and finally empirical diagnosis (accuracy, 54.17%; sensitivity, 66.67%; specificity, 33.33%). The capabilities of CEUS and computed tomography to identify fibrous septa were evaluated, with B-mode ultrasound as the reference, and CEUS (accuracy, 100%; sensitivity, 100%; specificity, 100%) was superior to computed tomography (accuracy, 82.41%; sensitivity, 26.09%; specificity, 97.65%). Overall, CEUS can accurately locate catheters and identify fibrous septa, with performance superior to existing methods.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The impact of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) on subsequent cardiovascular events in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) remains inconclusive. AIM Our aim was to systematically assess the relationship between preexisting OSA and adverse cardiovascular events in patients with newly diagnosed ACS by conducting a systematic review and meta-analysis. METHODS We systematically searched PubMed, EMBASE, and Cochrane library for studies published up to May 1, 2020, that reported any association between OSA and cardiovascular events in patients with newly diagnosed ACS. The main outcomes were a composite of all-cause or cardiovascular death, recurrent myocardial infarction, stroke, repeat revascularization, or heart failure. We conducted a pooled analysis using the random-effects model. We also performed subgroup, sensitivity, heterogeneity analysis, and the assessment of publication bias. RESULTS We identified 10 studies encompassing 3350 participants. The presence of OSA was associated with increased risk of adverse cardiovascular events in newly prognosed ACS (risk ratio [RR] 2.18, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.45-3.26, P < .001, I2 = 64%). Between-study heterogeneity was partially explained by a multicenter study (9 single-center studies, RR 2.33 95% CI 1.69-3.19, I2 =18%), and I2 remarkably decreased from 64% to 18%. Moreover, OSA significantly increased the incidence of repeat revascularization (8 studies) and heart failure (6 studies) in patients with newly diagnosed ACS. CONCLUSION Patients with preexisting OSA are at greater risk of subsequent cardiovascular events after onset of ACS. Further studies should investigate the treatment of OSA in patient with ACS.

Abstract
Objective: To compare trends in congenital heart disease (CHD) mortality between China and North America from 1990 to 2017. Methods: Using the data from the Global Burden Of Disease (GBD) study 2017, we analyzed the related indicators of CHD mortality in China and North America from 1990 to 2017, including standardized mortality, number of deaths, age distribution of death population and age-specific mortality of CHD in each birth cohort. Age-period-cohort model was used to calculate the annual percent change of age-standardized and age-specific mortality rates of CHD (% per year), period effect-adjusted age-specific mortality rates, and the relative risk of death among CHD population at different time periods (2000-2004 as reference period) and different birth cohorts (1970 as reference cohort). Results: In 2017, the age-standardized mortality rates for CHD in China and North America were 2.63/100 000 and 1.13/100 000 respectively, a decrease of 50.4% and 49.4% compared to 1990. Of all deaths from CHD in China, 76.8% were found in children under 5 years, which was higher than that in North America (51.7%). For population under 40 years, the period effect-adjusted age-specific mortality was higher in China (0.46-167.94 per 100 000 person-years) than in North America (0.68-22.47 per 100 000 person-years); whereas for population over 40 years, mortality was lower in China (0.13-0.34/100 000 person years) than in North America (0.43-0.72/100 000 person-years).From 1990 to 2017, CHD mortality in China decreased by 1.95% per year. The annual decrease of mortality ranged from 1.95% to 3.64% per year in population under 45 years, but the mortality showed increasing trends among those over 50 years. In 2015-2019, the relative risk of death from CHD decreased by 31% in China and 24% in North America. For 2015 birth cohort, the relative risk of death decreased by 84% in China and by 64% in North America. Conclusions: In the past 30 years, the risk of death from CHD in China has significantly decreased, and the survival gap with North America is dramatically narrowed. However, mortality is higher among younger populations in China than in North America, and the mortality in the elders shows increasing trends each year in China.

The Stegana (Steganina) shirozui species group is mainly distributed in East Asia. In the present study, the molecular phylogeny of the S. shirozui group was investigated based on mitochondrial (COI and ND2) and nuclear (28S rRNA) markers. The resulting trees support the S. shirozui group as monophyletic and indicate that in this group, species associated with closer affinities show higher structural homogeneity in male genitalia. Molecular species delimitation assess most species limits and recognize four new species in the S. shirozui group from south-west China: S. alianya sp. nov., S. diodonta sp. nov., S. zebromyia sp. nov. and S. zopheria sp. nov. One new synonym was also recognized. Additionally, three typical male genital characters of the S. shirozui group were placed on the molecular phylogenetic framework. The outcome of both divergence-time estimation and ancestral area reconstruction suggests that the S. shirozui group likely originated in south-west China in the Middle Miocene.

Abstract
Phylogenetic relationships of the two largest species groups in the genus Amiota [the Amiota alboguttata group (29 known and six new species) and the Amiota basdeni group (17 known and three new species)] were reconstructed using two mitochondrial gene sequences (COI and ND2). The paraphyly of the A. alboguttata group was identified based on molecular evidence. The monophyletic A. basdeni group is found to be nested in the A. alboguttata group, rendering the latter paraphyletic. Automatic barcode gap discovery and Bayesian phylogenetics and phylogeography methods were used to assess species limits of the A. alboguttata and A. basdeni groups. The results indicate that most analysed species could be delimited clearly, including nine new species (Amiota beama sp. nov., Amiota cyclophylla sp. nov., Amiota flormontana sp. nov., Amiota obtusa sp. nov., Amiota planiceps sp. nov., Amiota scrobicula sp. nov., Amiota jianjuni sp. nov., Amiota tentacula sp. nov. and Amiota xinglaii sp. nov.), except for some closely related morphospecies. Furthermore, based on the highly biased distributions of these two groups, southwestern China is hypothesized to be a possible centre of origin and diversification for Amiota in East Asia.

Abstract
Objective: Del Nido cardioplegia solution provides a depolarized hyperkalemic arrest lasting up to 60 minutes. Single-dose del Nido cardioplegia solution may offer an alternative myocardial protection strategy to conventional whole blood cardioplegia following acute aortic dissection surgery. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed 122 consecutive patients with acute aortic dissection undergoing arch reconstruction surgery procedure with cardioplegia arrest from January 2017 to December 2019. Patients exclusively received with whole blood cardioplegia (n = 60, January 2017–December 2018) or del Nido cardioplegia (n = 62, January 2018–December 2019). Preoperative and postoperative data were retrospectively reviewed. Results: No significant difference between two groups in mortality (4/60 vs 3/62, p = 0.964), cardiopulmonary bypass time (168.0 ± 10.5 minute vs 165.0 ± 12.5 minute, p = 0.154), aortic cross-clamp time (91.8 ± 9.0 minute vs 93.2 ± 9.5 minute, p = 0.405), selective antegrade cerebral perfusion time (21.8 ± 5.0 minute vs 22.4 ± 4.7 minute, p = 0.496) and postoperative vasoactive inotropic score (34.8 ± 1.9 vs 35.2 ± 2.1, p = 0.272), neurological complications rate (8/60 vs 12/62, p = 0.523), renal insufficiency rate (5/60 vs 7/62, p = 0.807) and the troponin T level (304.8 ± 111.3 vs 315.0 ± 94.9, p = 0.588), respectively. Mean volume of crystalloid was significantly higher in the del Nido group compared to the whole blood cardioplegia group (1010.2 ± 20.3 mL vs 300.0 ± 19.6 mL, p < 0.001). Patients requiring defibrillation was 7/62 vs 28/60 (p < 0.001), with statistical difference in both groups. Conclusion: Short-term outcomes in acute aortic dissection surgery using del Nido cardioplegia solution were acceptable and comparable to conventional multi-dose whole blood cardioplegia. Del Nido cardioplegia technique is associated with lower defibrillations rate and requires a reduced frequency of infusions that results in longer durations between infusions and may be a feasible alternative to conventional whole blood cardioplegia solution in acute aortic dissection surgery.

A new species group, the riverata species group, is established within the genus Scaptodrosophila based on morphological and molecular evidence for five known and five new species from China: S.abdentatasp. nov., S.cederholmi (Okada, 1988), S.crocata (Bock, 1976), S.paraclubata (Sundaran & Gupta, 1991), S.platyrhinasp. nov., S.puncticeps (Okada, 1956), S.riverata (Singh & Gupta, 1977), S.serrateifoliaceasp. nov., S.sinuatasp. nov. and S.tanyrhinasp. nov. A key to this group is provided. Furthermore, 51 mtDNA COI sequences belonging to S.puncticeps, S.riverata and the five new species are used for verifying species boundaries defined by the morphological data.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the effect of intensive management and achieving the target control more than 3 times on endpoint events during 9 consecutive years' annual assessment in type 2 diabetes (T2DM) patients in the Sanlitun Community Health Service Center in Beijing, including blood glucose, blood pressure, lipids profiles, and the joint target control. METHODS In Beijing Community Diabetes Study (BCDS), 224 patients with T2DM from the Sanlitun Community Health Service Center were enrolled in 2008. All patients were randomly assigned to the intensive management group (n = 113) and the standard management group (n = 113) and the standard management group (. RESULTS During the nine-year follow-up, the abscission number was 35 (14.29%), among which 14 (12.39%) was in the intensive management group and 21 (18.92%) was in the standard management group. The incidence of diabetic retinopathy (6 cases, 5.41%) and diabetic nephropathy (13 cases, 11.71%) in the standard management group was significantly higher than that in the intensive management group (1 case, 0.88%; 5 cases, 4.42%), respectively (P < 0.05). However, there were no significant differences on the other endpoint events between the two groups (P < 0.05). Abstract
BACKGROUND Pulmonary alveolar microlithiasis (PAM) is a rare idiopathic lung disease characterized by the accumulation of innumerable microliths. Currently, effective therapeutics for PAM are not available, and the only treatment for end-stage lung disease is lung transplantation (LuTx). Further, there are few reports that focus on LuTx for the treatment of PAM, and the follow-up reports of postoperative imaging are even rarer.
CASE SUMMARY A 52-year-old man presented to Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital in 2017 after experiencing shortness of breath and exacerbation. The patient was diagnosed with PAM and referred for single-LuTx (SLuTx) on March 14, 2018. Preoperative imaging results from a chest X-ray demonstrated bilateral, diffuse, symmetrical, sandstorm-like radiopaque micronodules, and pneumothorax and a computed tomography scan revealed minute, calcified military nodules in both lungs. We performed a left SLuTx, and intraoperative pathology was consistent with PAM. One week after surgery, a chest X-ray revealed slight exudation of the left lung, and one month later, the left transplanted lung exhibited good dilation, mild pulmonary perfusion injury with local infection, and left pleural effusion. Fiberoptic bronchoscopy revealed left hyperplastic granulation at the left bronchial anastomosis. Multiple sputum cultures suggested the presence of Klebsiella pneumoniae and Acinetobacter baumannii. The last follow-up was conducted in April 2019; the patient recovered well.
CONCLUSION This case presents the imaging findings of a patient with PAM before and after LuTx and confirms the effectiveness of LuTx for the treatment of this disease.

Abstract
Aim of the Study: Mason type III radial head fractures are a source of concern due to the severe injury and poor recovery. At present, radial head resection, open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF), and prosthetic replacement are three common treatment methods for these fractures. The clinical efficacy and postoperative complications are controversial, which makes it difficult for physicians to determine the most appropriate regimen. Herein, this present prospective, non-randomized, parallel-controlled study was conducted to compare the therapeutic effects and identify the most effective treatment method for Mason type III radial head fracture. Materials and Methods: We assessed patients with Mason type III radial head fracture treated with resection, prosthetic replacement, and ORIF to compare preoperative and postoperative pain condition, elbow joint function, curative effect, and complication rate. A visual analog scale was used to score pain. The elbow joint function was observed using the Broberg-Morrey elbow joint score. Results: No significant differences were found in patient demographics among the resection, prosthetic replacement, and ORIF groups. The prosthetic replacement and ORIF procedures were more complex and had higher technical requirements. Prosthetic replacement and ORIF enabled higher elbow joint scores and lower pain scores than resection. Excellent and good ratings were highest and complication rates were lowest in the prosthetic replacement group, followed by the ORIF group. Conclusion: Our results showed that prosthetic replacement is more effective than ORIF and radial head resection in relieving pain, functional recovery and reducing complications in the treatment of Mason type III radial head fractures.

Abstract
Sediments serve as an important carrier during the migration and transformation of pollutants in surface-flow constructed wetlands. Exploring the accumulation characteristics and release patterns of nutrients is of great significance for assessing the purification functions of constructed wetlands after long-term operation. The contents of total organic carbon (TOC), total nitrogen (TN), and total phosphorus (TP) in sediments at various locations of the 5-year-old Yanlong Lake surface-flow constructed wetland were analyzed and static release experiments with cylindrical core samples were carried out. The results showed that after five years, sediments at this site have become moderately polluted and the nutrient accumulation level is mainly being affected by the influent flow, water depth, and plant effects. Additionally, ① nutrients in sediments were found to increase along the flow direction; ② they also increase as the depth of overlying water increases and are relatively affected by the carbon; ③ healthier growth of the wetland plants could lead to more nutrients being accumulated in sediments. The release trend of nutrients fell after a rise and basically reached equilibrium after 20 days, and the release rate was mainly affected by the accumulation level of nutrients, which is similar to the trend in light nutrient containing reservoirs. Plant residues contained in the sediments were associated with the stronger release of nutrients. These results can provide a scientific basis for solutions aimed at maintaining the purification capacity of long-running surface-flow constructed wetlands.

Abstract
We combined spectroscopic ellipsometry, Raman scattering spectroscopy, and first-principles calculations to explore the optical properties of YBaCuFeO5 single crystals. Measuring the optical absorption spectrum of YBaCuFeO5 at room temperature revealed a direct optical band gap at approximately 1.41 eV and five bands near 1.69, 2.47, 3.16, 4.26, and 5.54 eV. Based on first-principles calculations, the observed optical excitations were appropriately assigned. Analysis of the temperature dependence of the band gap indicated anomalies in antiferromagnetic phase transition at 455 and 175 K. Additionally, a hardening in the frequency of the Eg phonon mode was observed at 175 K. The value of the spin-phonon coupling constant was 15.7 mRy/Å2. These results suggest a complex nature of spin-charge-lattice interactions in YBaCuFeO5.

Abstract
BACKGROUND This study aims to explore the efficacy of surgical and conservative treatment for elbow joint terrible triad, and evaluate related factors affecting surgical treatment efficacy. METHODS Patients with terrible triad of elbow joint (n = 165) were selected, among which 79 cases underwent conservative treatment (the control group) and 86 cases underwent surgical treatment (the experimental group). The range of flexion and extension, range of rotation and Mayo elbow performance score were recorded. In the experimental group, postoperation, according to the Mayo elbow performance score, patients were assigned into the effective group (72 cases) and ineffective group (14 cases). All patients were followed up regularly for 6 to 24 months. X-ray and computed tomography examination were used to examine anterior and posterior elbow joints preoperatively and postoperatively and the degree of arm rotation. RESULTS The range of flexion and extension, range of rotation and Mayo elbow performance score were found to be significantly higher in the experimental group after treatment compared to the experimental group before treatment and in the control group after treatment. Seven days after treatment, compared with the control group, the expressions of interleukin (IL)-6, C-reactive protein, IL-8, and tumor necrosis factor-α in serum decreased, and returned to almost near normal levels in the experimental group. Age, mean operative time, and postoperative immobilization time were significantly different between the effective and ineffective groups. The incidence of joint stiffness, heterotopic ossification, and ulnar nerve symptoms in the effective group were lower than those in the ineffective group. The postoperative immobilization time served a protective factor for the efficacy of surgical treatment of elbow joint terrible triad, while age served as a risk factor. CONCLUSION The results indicated that surgical treatment regimens for elbow joint terrible triad exhibited better efficacy than conservative treatment regimens, and lower age and longer postoperative immobilization time serve as protective factors for surgical treatment efficacy.

Abstract
Background In the era of primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PPCI), the incidence of post-cardiac injury syndrome (PCIS) in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) following PPCI has become less common. However, the intrinsic pathogenesis of this medical condition remains largely uncertain. Unlike the prior reports, the present paper provides new mechanistic clues concerning the pathogenesis of PCI-related PCIS. Case presentation A 45-year-old male with AMI had developed an early onset of PCIS at 3 h after PPCI. A significantly slower TIMI flow (grade ≤ 2) for the culprit arteries was observed through follow-up coronary angiography (CAG); no stent thrombosis or any significant evidence of iatrogenic trauma due the intervention procedures was found. Nevertheless, the the serum level of HsCRP showed similar variation trend as the neutrophil count and troponin T in continuous blood monitoring, which suggested a potential association between PPCI-related coronary microvascular dysfunction (CMD) and pathogenesis of PCIS. Conclusions The reported case had excessive inflammatory reaction and CMD resulting from cardiac ischemia-reperfusion injury in an AMI patient with risk factors of endothelial dysfunction. There exists a potential reciprocal causation between PCIS and performance of PPCI in the AMI patient who was susceptible to endothelial damage.

Abstract
We study the spin-dependent electronic and thermoelectric transport through a structure composed of triple quantum dots (TQDs) coupled to two metallic leads in the presence of spin-dependent interdot couplings, which is reliable by applying a static magnetic field on the tunnel junctions between different dots. When the TQDs are serially connected, a 100 % spin-polarized conductance and thermopower emerge even for very small spin-polarization of the interdot coupling as the dots are weakly coupled to each other. Whereas if the TQDs are connected in a ring shape, the Fano antiresonance will result in sharp peaks in the conductance and thermopower. In the presence of spin-dependent interdot couplings, the peaks of the spin-up and spin-down thermopowers will shift to opposite directions in the dot level regime, resulting large either 100 % spin-polarized or pure spin thermopowers. The latter generally arises at low temperatures and is robust against the level detuning, the dot-lead coupling, and the system equilibrium temperature.

Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of specific sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT) with Dermatophagoides farina drops in different courses with allergic asthma and allergic rhinitis.Method:This study retrospectively analyzed the efficacy of SLIT in 158 children with allergic asthma and rhinitis which induced by house dust mites. The children were treated with Dermatophagoides farina drops; clinical observation and follow-up study were conducted. According to the treatment duration, children were divided into 4 groups (1-year, 2-year, 3-year, and 4-year). Symptom scores and medication scores were recorded at each visit. Asthma symptom scores (day and night), the rhinitis symptom scoresand medication scores were evaluated in 4 groups before and after SLIT. The adverse events during the treatment were collected.Result:There were significant differences in asthma symptom scores (day, night), asthma medication scores, rhinitis symptom scores, rhinitis medication scores among children who accepted 1-year, 2-year, 3-year and 4-year SLI treatment as compared with baseline (P< 0.01). As compared with 1-year, 2-year, 3-year groups, the asthma medication scores of 4-year group had obviously decrease (P< 0.05). Rhinitis medication score of SLIT3 years group was significantly lower than 2 years group (P< 0.05). Asthma symptom scores in the day, asthma symptom scores at night, rhinitis symptom scores of four groups children had no statistically significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusion:Different courses of sublingual immunotherapy with Dermatophagoides farina drops had significant effects; the 4-year course of treatment showed the best effect.

Abstract
Physiological responses of ryegrass in cadmium-nonylphenol (Cd-NP) co-contaminated water, as well as the phytoremediation effect were studied under laboratory conditions. The experiment revealed that the biomass and chlorophyll content of ryegrass significantly declined at high concentrations of Cd2+(10 mg·L-1), while POD and PPO activities significantly increased. No significant changes to the biomass, chlorophyll content and MDA of ryegrass were observed in the presence of NP. POD activities significantly increased at high concentrations of NP (5 mg·L-1). The addition of high NP concentrate reduced the inhibition of Cd under co-contaminated stress, the MDA content and PPO activities both reduced. The experiment also revealed that the removal rate of Cd2+ by ryegrass reached 55.3% after 12 h. The absorption efficiency was improved by high NP concentration. Absorption efficiency of Cd2+ by the subterranean part of the plant significantly increased in presence of NP, and the absorption efficiency increased with the increase of NP concentration. The absorption rate of NP was 44.6% after 24 h at NP concentration of 5 mg·L-1. The removal rate was slightly influenced at low concentrations of Cd2+, but significant inhibition of absorption and degradation was observed at high concentrations of Cd2+.

Abstract
Different types of sulfur compounds, namely S-allyl-L-cysteine (SAC), S-allyl-L-cysteine sulfoxide (ACSO) and a synthetic γ-L-glutamyl-S-allyl-L-cysteine (GSAC) were extracted from black garlic and their inhibition to the advanced glycation end-products (AGEs) were investigated. Upon addition of inhibitor, the amount of produced fructosamine was determined by UV visible spectroscopy. The change of pentosidine and fluorescent AGEs during reaction was detected by fluorescence method and the change of carboxymethyl lysine (CML) was detected by high performance liquid chromatography. It was found that the inhibitory effects of SAC and ACSO are stronger to the early and mid non-fluorescent products in glycosylation reaction, and GSAC has an obvious inhibitory effect on the later reaction products. All these three inhibitors can effectively inhibit advanced glycation reaction. Although their effects on glycation products are different due to different chemical structures, they have similar inhibitory effects on fluorescent products.

Abstract
Background The coracoid process plays an important role in maintaining the stability of the elbow joint. A fracture of the coronoid process is often treated via surgical approaches, including open reduction and internal fixation, which aim to regain a stable, flexible, and loadable joint. In this study, we compared the anterior, medial, and posterior approaches of internal fixation in the repair of fractures of the coronoid process of the ulna. Methods In this retrospective study, 147 patients with fractures in the coronoid process of the ulna were recruited and classified into the anterior group (n = 73), the medial group (n = 32), and the posterior group (n = 42) according to the surgical approach used for internal fixation. These patients were assessed with respect to incision, operative time, estimated blood loss, fracture healing, and postoperative complications. The Mayo Elbow Performance Score was used to evaluate any form of disability associated with elbow injuries. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was performed to investigate the factors influencing the efficacy of fractures of the coronoid process of the ulna. Results In the medial approach group, the operative time was longer, and perioperative blood loss and postoperative drainage volume were obviously increased compared with the anterior and posterior groups. The anterior group exhibited a better postoperative recovery compared with the medial, and posterior groups. Compared with the anterior group, fracture-healing time in the posterior group was further reduced, whereas elbow joint flexion extension and forearm rotation degree improved. Complications were significantly reduced in the posterior approach group compared with the anterior and medial groups. The factors influencing the efficacy of fractures of the coronoid process of the ulna included the Regan–Morrey classification, perioperative blood loss, and the internal fixation approach. Conclusion In summary, the approach used influences fracture healing or the outcome after osteosynthesis. The posterior internal fixation method produced satisfactory functional outcomes in patients with fractures of the coronoid process of the ulna.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To discuss arthroscopic technique of double-root line double tunnel fixation for tibial intercondylar ridge avulsion fracture and its short-term followvup observational results. METHODS From May 2012 to June 2017, 21 cases of tibial intercondylar ridge avulsion fractures were treated with arthroscope double line double tunnel. Among the patients, 16 males and 5 females were ranging in age from 17 to 45 years old, with an average of 29.6 years old, and injury to surgery time 3 to 6 days, with an average of 3.6 days. All the patients underwent arthroscopic exploration, fracture reduction, double root line fixation. The knee function was assessed at 3 and 6 months postoperatively using the Lysholm knee score, and the healing and resection of the patients were followed by X-ray examination. RESULTS All patients were followed up for 7 to 23 months, with an average of 12.8 months. All patients after fracture were bone healing, knee activity were gained their previous normal levels (ranged, 0° to 130 °), and no limb dysfunction. The average scores of Lysholm knee were(93.52±7.10) and(95.95±6.34) points in 3 months and 6 months after operation. CONCLUSIONS Arthroscopic treatment of tibial intercondylar ridge avulsion fractures with double root line is simple and reliable, and can provide an ideal internal fixation method for tibial intercondylar ridge avulsion fractures.

Abstract
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE The specific pathogenesis of generalized aggressive periodontitis (GAgP) has not yet been clarified, and few studies have focused on the association between GAgP and metabolomics. To elucidate the roles of metabolic profiles in the status of GAgP, this study aimed to identify the differential metabolic profiles between patients with GAgP and healthy controls using an untargeted metabolomic profiling method. MATERIAL AND METHODS Serum and gingival crevicular fluid samples were collected from healthy controls (n = 20) and patients with GAgP (n = 20) in this cross-sectional study. The relative levels of biomarkers in the samples were measured by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Principal components analysis and orthogonal partial least-squares discriminant analysis were used for statistical analysis. Metabolites were analysed qualitatively using the FiehnLib and NIST databases. Full-mouth probing depth and clinical attachment loss were recorded as indexes of periodontal disease. RESULTS A total of 349 metabolites were qualitatively detected in the gingival crevicular fluid samples, and 200 metabolites were detected in the serum samples. Compared with healthy controls, patients with GAgP showed significant increases in serum urea and allo-inositol levels. In contrast, glutathione, 2,5-dihydroxybenzaldehyde, adipic acid and 2-deoxyguanosine levels were decreased in patients with GAgP. In the gingival crevicular fluid samples, noradrenaline, uridine, α-tocopherol, dehydroascorbic acid, xanthine, galactose, glucose-1-phosphate and ribulose-5-phosphate levels were increased in patients with GAgP, while thymidine, glutathione and ribose-5-phosphate levels were decreased. CONCLUSION The metabolomics analysis by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry is an effective and minimally non-invasive way to differentiate the metabolites characteristic of patients with GAgP. Both serum and gingival crevicular fluid metabolomics are significantly different between patients with GAgP and healthy controls. These metabolic profiles have great potential in detecting GAgP and helping to understand its underlying mechanisms.
