Abstract
INTRODUCTION Currently, the cause of psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is unknown, and the effectiveness of current drug treatments is unsatisfactory. In March 2019, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved risankizumab, a humanized immunoglobulin G1 (IgG1) monoclonal antibody targeting the p19 subunit of interleukin (IL)-23, for the treatment of PsA in adults. This study aimed to conduct a meta-analysis of double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trials to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of risankizumab in moderate-to-severe PsA. METHODS We conducted a thorough search of relevant databases from the establishment of the databases to October 1, 2023. We conducted a meta-analysis using Stata 12.0 and utilized I2 and Egger tests to assess heterogeneity and publication bias among the studies. Bias assessment was performed using the risk bias map and bias risk summary diagram generated by Revman5.4 software. The review protocols were registered on PROSPERO (CRD42023451894) and adhered to the preferred reporting item of system evaluation (PRISMA) guideline. RESULTS Six randomized controlled trials (RCTs) involving 5038 patients with PsA treated with either risankizumab or placebo were included in the analysis. At 24 weeks, the risankizumab group demonstrated a significantly higher American College of Rheumatology-20 (ACR20) response rate compared to the placebo group (RR 1.760, 95% CI 1.568-1.977, P < 0.001). Additionally, the risankizumab group showed a significantly higher Minimal Disease Activity (MDA) response rate compared to the placebo group (RR 1.827, 95% CI 1.048-3.184, P < 0.05). The risankizumab group also exhibited improvement in Short Form 36 Questionnaire (SF-36) score (SMD 0.51, 95% CI 0.33-0.69, P < 0.001), with significantly lower Health Assessment Questionnaire Disability Index (HAQ-DI) score (SMD - 0.27, 95% CI - 0.37 to - 0.17, P < 0.001) and higher Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy-Fatigue (FACIT-F) score (SMD 0.27, 95% CI 0.20-0.35, P < 0.001) compared to the placebo group. Moreover, the risankizumab group had a significantly lower Psoriasis Area and Severity Index (PASI) score (SMD - 6.12, 95% CI - 10.02 to 2.23, P < 0.001). A study by Mease et al. indicated that patients receiving risankizumab generally demonstrated numerical improvements in the Leeds Enthesitis Index (LEI), although the small sample size limits the evidence. Further research is necessary to provide evidence-based guidelines. There were no significant differences in the incidence of serious adverse events (SAE) and serious treatment-emergent adverse events (STEAE) between the risankizumab and placebo groups (RR 0.76, 95% CI 0.45-1.28, P = 0.31; RR 0.99, 95% CI 0.49-1.99, P = 0.97, respectively), and the overall incidence of adverse events (AE) was not comparable (RR 1.10, 95% CI 0.63-1.94, P = 0.73). CONCLUSION Risankizumab showed superior efficacy across multiple outcome measures compared to placebo, with no significant increase in adverse events. Our findings endorse risankizumab as an excellent treatment option for PsA, offering valuable insights for clinicians and patients when choosing appropriate therapeutic interventions. Abstract
Sulfate aerosol is one of the major components of secondary fine particulate matter in urban haze that has crucial impacts on the social economy and public health. Among the atmospheric sulfate sources, Mn(II)-catalyzed SO2 oxidation on aerosol surfaces has been regarded as a dominating one. In this work, we measured the reaction kinetics of Mn(II)-catalyzed SO2 oxidation in single droplets using an aerosol optical tweezer. We show that the SO2 oxidation occurs at the Mn(II)-active sites on the aerosol surface, per a piecewise kinetic formulation, one that is characterized by a threshold surface Mn(II) concentration and gaseous SO2 concentration. When the surface Mn(II) concentration is lower than the threshold value, the reaction rate is first order with respect to both Mn(II) and SO2, agreeing with our traditional knowledge. But when surface Mn(II) concentration is above the threshold, the reaction rate becomes independent of Mn(II) concentration, and the reaction order with respect to SO2 becomes greater than unity. The measured reaction rate can serve as a tool to estimate sulfate formation based on field observation, and our established parametrization corrects these calculations. This framework for reaction kinetics and parametrization holds promising potential for generalization to various heterogeneous reaction pathways.

Abstract
Soil (or plant) water deficit accelerates plant reproduction. However, the underpinning molecular mechanisms remain unknown. By modulating cell division/number, ABSCISIC ACID-INSENSITIVE 5 (ABI5), a key bZIP (basic (region) leucine zippers) transcription factor, regulates both seed development and abiotic stress responses. The KRP (KIP-RELATED PROTEIN) cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs) play an essential role in controlling cell division, and SHOOT MERISTEMLESS (STM) plays a key role in the specification of flower meristem identity. Here, our findings show that abscisic acid (ABA) signaling and/or metabolism in adjust reproductive outputs (such as rosette leaf number and open flower number) under water-deficient conditions in Arabidopsis (Arabidopsis thaliana) plants. Reproductive outputs increased under water-sufficient conditions but decreased under water-deficient conditions in the ABA signaling/metabolism mutants abscisic acid2-1 (aba2-1), aba2-11, abscisic acid insensitive3-1 (abi3-1), abi4-1, abi5-7, and abi5-8. Further, under water-deficient conditions, ABA induced-ABI5 directly bound to the promoter of KRP1, which encodes a CDK that plays an essential role in controlling cell division, and this binding subsequently activated KRP1 expression. In turn, KRP1 physically interacted with SHOOT MERISTEMLESS (STM), which functions in the specification of flower meristem identity, promoting STM degradation. We further demonstrate that reproductive outputs are adjusted by the ABI5-KRP1-STM molecular module under water-deficient conditions. Together, our findings reveal the molecular mechanism by which ABA signaling and/or metabolism regulate reproductive development under water-deficient conditions. These findings provide insights that may help guide crop yield improvement under water deficiency.

Abstract
Nowadays, chemotherapy is a common clinical treatment for cancer, but it still faces many limitations and challenges. Therefore, the combination of chemotherapy and other treatments often enhances the effectiveness of treatments. Herein, an injectable hydrogel of PC10ARGD/Cu2+/DOX based on Cu2+, hydrophilic doxorubicin (DOX), and genetically engineered polypeptide PC10ARGD was prepared. First, Cu2+ was attached to the histidines in the PC10ARGD polypeptide by the coordination reaction to form PC10ARGD/Cu2+ hydrogel, then the PC10ARGD/Cu2+/DOX hydrogel was prepared by encapsulating the DOX into the PC10ARGD/Cu2+ hydrogel. The results of scanning electron microscopy showed that the PC10ARGD/Cu2+/DOX hydrogel displayed loose porous morphology. In vitro, reactive oxygen species production results showed that the PC10ARGD/Cu2+/DOX hydrogel could continuously produce ·OH in the presence of H2O2. In vitro MTT results showed that the PC10ARGD/Cu2+/DOX hydrogel had a good inhibitory effect on cell activity. Flow cytometry further confirmed the antitumor effect of the PC10ARGD/Cu2+/DOX hydrogel. In vivo experiment results showed that the tumor volume of mice treated with the PC10ARGD/Cu2+/DOX hydrogel was significantly inhibited compared with control groups, which was due to the combination of chemodynamic and chemotherapy. The results of body weight and blood analysis of mice showed that the PC10ARGD/Cu2+/DOX hydrogel possessed good biocompatibility.

In order to study the theoretical mechanism of the impact of green technology progress on carbon emissions, this article constructs a theoretical mechanism of the impact of green technology progress on carbon emission growth. Explore the conditions for achieving carbon peak and carbon reduction. Based on the Cobb Douglas production function, construct a three sector model that includes capital, labor, and energy. Empirical methods were used to analyze the quantitative impact of green technology progress on carbon emission growth and the moderating effect of energy input share. This study mainly used provincial panel data from 1995 to 2020. Calculate carbon dioxide emissions based on energy consumption and carbon dioxide emission coefficients of various energy sources in different regions. Using the perpetual inventory method to calculate capital growth rate, green computing progress rate, etc., to provide data support for the green technology carbon reduction model. Empirical analysis of the impact of green technology progress on carbon emissions using the FGLS panel model. Theoretical and empirical analyses show that green technological progress promotes an increase in the carbon emission growth rate through the scale effect, with an impact coefficient of 0.607; it promotes a decrease in the carbon emission growth rate through the technological effect, with an impact coefficient of - 0.667; the combined effect promotes a decrease in growth rate of carbon emissions, with an impact coefficient of - 0.06. The share of energy inputs has a positive regulating effect on the scale effect.

Abstract
Exposure of dark-grown etiolated seedlings to light triggers the transition from skotomorphogenesis/etiolation to photomorphogenesis/de-etiolation. In the life cycle of plants, de-etiolation is essential for seedling development and plant survival. The mobilization of soluble sugars (glucose [Glc], sucrose, and fructose) derived from stored carbohydrates and lipids to target organs, including cotyledons, hypocotyls, and radicles, underpins de-etiolation. Therefore, dynamic carbohydrate biochemistry is a key feature of this phase transition. However, the molecular mechanisms coordinating carbohydrate status with the cellular machinery orchestrating de-etiolation remain largely opaque. Here, we show that the Glc sensor HEXOKINASE 1 (HXK1) interacts with GROWTH REGULATOR FACTOR5 (GRF5), a transcriptional activator and key plant growth regulator, in Arabidopsis (Arabidopsis thaliana). Subsequently, GRF5 directly binds to the promoter of phytochrome A (phyA), encoding a far-red light (FR) sensor/cotyledon greening inhibitor. We demonstrate that the status of Glc within dark-grown etiolated cotyledons determines the de-etiolation of seedlings when exposed to light irradiation by the HXK1-GRF5-phyA molecular module. Thus, following seed germination, accumulating Glc within dark-grown etiolated cotyledons stimulates a HXK1-dependent increase of GRF5 and an associated decrease of phyA, triggering the perception, amplification, and relay of HXK1-dependent Glc signaling, thereby facilitating the de-etiolation of seedlings following light irradiation. Our findings, therefore, establish how cotyledon carbohydrate signaling under subterranean darkness is sensed, amplified, and relayed, determining the phase transition from skotomorphogenesis to photomorphogenesis on exposure to light irradiation.

Abstract
More and more evidence shows that metabolic reprogramming is closely related to the occurrence of AD. The metabolic conversion of oxidative phosphorylation into glycolysis will aggravate microglia-mediated inflammation. It has been demonstrated that baicalein could inhibit neuroinflammation in LPS-treated BV-2 microglial cells, but whether the anti-neuroinflammatory mechanisms of baicalein were related to glycolysis is unclear. Our results depicted that baicalein significantly inhibited the levels of nitric oxide (NO), interleukin-6 (IL-6), prostaglandin 2 (PGE2) and tumor necrosis factor (TNF-α) in LPS-treated BV-2 cells. 1H-NMR metabolomics analysis showed that baicalein decreased the levels of lactic acid and pyruvate, and significantly regulated glycolytic pathway. Further study revealed that baicalein significantly inhibited the activities of glycolysis-related enzymes including hexokinase (HK), 6-phosphate kinase (6-PFK), pyruvate kinase (PK), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), and inhibited STAT3 phosphorylation and c-Myc expression. By using of STAT3 activator RO8191, we found that baicalein suppressed the increase of STAT3 phosphorylation and c-Myc expression triggered by RO8191, and inhibited the increased levels of 6-PFK, PK and LDH caused by RO8191. In conclusion, these results suggested that baicalein attenuated the neuroinflammation in LPS-treated BV-2 cells by inhibiting glycolysis through STAT3/c-Myc pathway.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the trend of disease burden of oral cancer attributable to smoking in China from 1990 to 2019, and predict the mortality trend of oral cancer from 2020 to 2034, providing scientific basis for formulating targeted oral cancer prevention and treatment strategy to achieve the goal of "Healthy China 2030". Methods: Using partial data on the global burden of disease in China in 2019, attributive death and disability adjusted life year (DALY) were used to describe. The trend of changes in the burden of oral cancer disease attributed to smoking was analyzed by using the Joinpoint regression model to estimate the annual average percentage change (AAPC) of age standardized mortality and DALY rates. Meanwhile, the Bayesian age-period- cohort model is used to predict oral cancer deaths and DALY trends attributed to smoking over the next 15 years. Results: The age-standardized mortality rate and DALY rate in China from 1990 to 2019 showed an overall upward trend, with an average annual increase of 1.49% (95%CI: 1.34%-1.65%, P<0.001) and 1.41% (95%CI: 1.24%-1.59%, P<0.001) respectively, higher than around the earth and in regions with different socio-demographic index (SDI). In 2019, 46.74% (10 584/22 642) of oral cancer deaths in China were attributed to smoking. Compared to 1990, the number of attributed deaths in 2019 increased by 293.75% (7 896/2 688), while DALY increased by 257.97% (189 039/73 280). Moreover, the growth rates of attributed deaths and DALY in males [304.95% (7 584/2 487) and 265.60% (183 349/69 033), respectively] were significantly higher than those in females [154.73% (311/201) and 133.95% (5 690/4 248), respectively] (P<0.001). The age group results showed that the proportion of deaths and DALY gradually transitioned towards the elderly (>60 years old). The expected number of deaths would increase from 10 731 in 2020 to 14 125 in 2034, with a rise of 31.63% (3 394/10 731). Simultaneously, DALY would increase from 267 064 person years in 2020 to 326 634 person years in 2034, with a rise of 22.31% (59 570/267 064). Conclusions: From 1990 to 2019, the burden of oral cancer diseases attributed to smoking in China showed an increasing trend, with a higher growth rates than in the global and different SDI regions. There were differences in gender and age, and the burden of oral cancer diseases attributed to smoking in China would continue to increase in the next 15 years. It is necessary to educate on the adverse effects of tobacco consumption and to conduct vigilant oral self-examination among high-risk groups to help early detection and intervention at the same time.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the long-term effect of combined surgery for the treatment of congenital tibial pseudarthrosis in children. Methods: The clinical data of 44 children with congenital tibial pseudarthrosis who underwent combined surgery (tibial pseudarthrosis tissue resection, intramedullary rod fixation, Ilizarov external fixator fixation, wrapped autologous iliac bone graft) from August 2007 to October 2011 at the Department of Pediatric Orthopedics, Hunan Children's Hospital were collected retrospectively. There were 33 males and 11 females. The age at the time of surgery was (3.7±2.2)years (range:0.6 to 12.4 years), including 25 cases under 3 years old and 19 cases above 3 years old.Among them, 37 cases were complicated with neurofibromatosis type 1.The operation status, postoperative complications and follow-up results were recorded. Results: The follow-up time after surgery was (10.9±0.7)years (range:10 to 11 years).Thirty-nine out of 44 patients (88.6%) achieved initial healing of tibial pseudarthrosis, with an average healing time of (4.3±1.1)months (range:3 to 10months).In the last follow-up, 36 cases (81.8%) had unequal tibial length, 20 cases (45.4%) had refractures, 18 cases (40.9%) had ankle valgus, 9 cases (20.4%) had proximal tibial valgus, and 11 cases (25.0%) had high arched feet.Nine cases (20.4%) developed distal tibial epiphyseal plate bridging.17 cases (38.6%) had abnormal tibial mechanical axis.Seven cases (15.9%) developed needle infection, and one case (2.3%) developed tibial osteomyelitis. 21 patients (47.7%) had excessive growth of the affected femur.Five patients (11.3%) had ankle stiffness, and 34 patients (77.2%) had intramedullary rod displacement that was not in the center of the tibial medullary cavity.Among them, 8 cases (18.1%) protruded the tibial bone cortex and underwent intramedullary rod removal.18 children have reached skeletal maturity, while 26 children have not been followed up until skeletal maturity. Conclusion: Combined surgery for the treatment of congenital pseudarthrosis of the tibia in children has a high initial healing rate, but complications such as unequal tibia length, refracture, and ankle valgus occur during long-term follow-up, requiring multiple surgical treatments.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the rate of Helicobacter pylori (Hp) resistance to levofloxacin and clarithromycin and the common mutation patterns of resistance genes in Ningxia, and to assess the concordance between phenotypic resistance and genotypic resistance. Methods: Cross-sectional study. Patients diagnosed with Hp infection in 14 hospitals in Ningxia region from February 2020 to May 2022 were retrospectively selected. Hp strains were isolated from gastric biopsy specimens of Hp-infected patients and subjected to phenotypic drug sensitivity testing and detection of resistance genes to analyze the rate of Hp resistance to levofloxacin and clarithromycin and the common mutation patterns of resistance genes in Ningxia region; and the concordance rate and Kappa concordance test were used to assess the concordance between phenotypic resistance and genotypic resistance. Results: A total of 1 942 Hp strains were isolated and cultured, and among the infections, 1 069 cases (55.0%) were male and 873 cases (45.0%) were female, aged (50.0±12.5) years (15-86 years). The rates of Hp resistance to levofloxacin and clarithromycin in Ningxia were 42.1% (818/1 942) and 40.1% (779/1 942), respectively, and the rate of dual resistance to both was 22.8% (443/1 942). The rate of resistance to levofloxacin and clarithromycin of Hp strains from female patients was higher than in male patients (levofloxacin: 50.4%(440/873) vs 35.4%(378/1 069); clarithromycin: 44.4%(388/873) vs 36.6%(391/1 069), both P<0.001). Among the GyrA gene mutations associated with levofloxacin resistance, the differences in mutation rate of amino acid at positions 87 and 91 were statistically significant in both drug-resistant and sensitive strains(both P<0.001), except for Asn87Thr. Hp strains were statistically significant for levofloxacin (Kappa=0.834, P<0.001) and clarithromycin (Kappa=0.829, P<0.001) had good concordance in resistance at the phenotypic and genotypic levels. Conclusion: The resistance of Hp to levofloxacin and clarithromycin in Ningxia region is severe, and there is good consistency between genotypic and phenotypic resistance.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the relationship between low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C)/high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) ratio with the severity of coronary artery disease and 2-yeat outcome in patients with premature coronary heart disease. Methods: This prospective, multicenter, observational cohort study is originated from the PROMISE study. Eighteen thousand seven hundred and one patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) were screened from January 2015 to May 2019. Three thousand eight hundred and sixty-one patients with premature CHD were enrolled in the current study. According to the median LDL-C/HDL-C ratio (2.4), the patients were divided into two groups: low LDL-C/HDL-C group (LDL-C/HDL-C≤2.4, n=1 867) and high LDL-C/HDL-C group (LDL-C/HDL-C>2.4, n=1 994). Baseline data and 2-year major adverse cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events (MACCE) were collected and analyzed in order to find the differences between premature CHD patients at different LDL-C/HDL-C levels, and explore the correlation between LDL-C/HDL-C ratio with the severity of coronary artery disease and MACCE. Results: The average age of the low LDL-C/HDL-C ratio group was (48.5±6.5) years, 1 154 patients were males (61.8%); the average age of high LDL-C/HDL-C ratio group was (46.5±6.8) years, 1 523 were males (76.4%). The number of target lesions, the number of coronary artery lesions, the preoperative SNYTAX score and the proportion of three-vessel coronary artery disease in the high LDL-C/HDL-C group were significantly higher than those in the low LDL-C/HDL-C group (1.04±0.74 vs. 0.97±0.80, P=0.002; 2.04±0.84 vs. 1.85±0.84, P<0.001; 13.81±8.87 vs. 11.70±8.05, P<0.001; 36.2% vs. 27.4%, respectively, P<0.001). Correlation analysis showed that there was a significant positive correlation between LDL-C/HDL-C ratio and preoperative SYNTAX score, the number of coronary artery lesions, the number of target lesions and whether it was a three-vessel coronary artery disease (all P<0.05). The 2-year follow-up results showed that the incidence of MACCE was significantly higher in the high LDL-C/HDL-C group than that in the low LDL-C/HDL-C group (6.9% vs. 9.1%, P=0.011). There was no significant difference in the incidence of all-cause death, cardiac death, myocardial infarction, stroke, revascularization and bleeding between the two groups. Cox multivariate regression analysis showed that the LDL-C/HDL-C ratio has no correlation with 2-year MACCE, death, myocardial infarction, revascularization, stroke and bleeding events above BARC2 in patients with premature CHD. Conclusion: High LDL-C/HDL-C ratio is positively correlated with the severity of coronary artery disease in patients with premature CHD. The incidence of MACCE of patients with high LDL-C/HDL-C ratio is significantly higher during 2 years follow-up; LDL-C/HDL-C ratio may be an indicator for evaluating the severity of coronary artery disease and long-term prognosis in patients with premature CHD.

Abstract
Objective: To assess the clinical value of bedaquiline in five dimensions: effectiveness, safety, economics, appropriateness, and social benefits, to provide a reference for medical and health insurance-related decisions. Methods: A total of 792 patients with multidrug-resistant tuberculosis who were hospitalized at Wuhan Pulmonary Hospital, Ganzhou Fifth People's Hospital and Jiangxi Chest Hospital between January 2018 and December 2020 were included in the study. Based on a retrospective survey of case data, and each evaluation dimension of bedaquiline was statistically analyzed by causal analysis or chi-square test, using linezolid as the reference drug. Results: In terms of effectiveness, bedaquiline significantly increased treatment success by 23.9% (95%CI:4.8%-43.0%) and shortened treatment duration by 64 days(95%CI:18-109 days). In terms of safety, the incidence of adverse reactions to bedaquiline and the discontinuation rate of adverse reactions (5.11%,4.55%) were significantly lower than those for linezolid (22.49%,15.24%), with statistically significant differences (χ2=27.50,P<0.001;χ2=14.09,P<0.001). In terms of economics, patients treated with bedaquiline had a significantly higher anti-TB drug course cost of RMB 48 209.4 Yuan(95%CI: 28 336.0-68 082.8 Yuan). In terms of appropriateness, the proportion of bedaquiline in patients' initial treatment regimens was lower than that of linezolid (16.7% vs. 86.5%) in the 2020 observation sample, with a statistically significant difference (χ2=238.96,P<0.001). In terms of social benefits, the infection control rate was significantly increased by 27.8% (95%CI:8.2%-47.5%) in patients using bedaquiline. Conclusions: Bedaquiline performed well in terms of efficacy, safety, and social benefits. However, it was less economical and the actual use rate of bedaquiline in clinical practice was lower than that of its counterpart drug, linezolid. Price reductions might be needed to increase the clinical use and performance of bedaquiline in the future.

Abstract
Pathological scarring and scleroderma, which are the most common conditions of skin fibrosis, pathologically manifest as fibroblast proliferation and extracellular matrix (ECM) hyperplasia. Fibroblast proliferation and ECM hyperplasia lead to fibrotic tissue remodeling, causing an exaggerated and prolonged wound-healing response. The pathogenesis of these diseases has not been fully clarified and is unfortunately accompanied by exceptionally high medical needs and poor treatment effects. Currently, a promising and relatively low-cost treatment has emerged-adipose-derived stem cell (ASC) therapy as a branch of stem cell therapy, including ASCs and their derivatives-purified ASC, stromal vascular fraction, ASC-conditioned medium, ASC exosomes, etc., which are rich in sources and easy to obtain. ASCs have been widely used in therapeutic settings for patients, primarily for the defection of soft tissues, such as breast enhancement and facial contouring. In the field of skin regeneration, ASC therapy has become a hot research topic because it is beneficial for reversing skin fibrosis. The ability of ASCs to control profibrotic factors as well as anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory actions will be discussed in this review, as well as their new applications in the treatment of skin fibrosis. Although the long-term effect of ASC therapy is still unclear, ASCs have emerged as one of the most promising systemic antifibrotic therapies under development.

Abstract
From January 2019 to December 2021, overweight and obese children who visited in health outpatient Center of Hunan Children's Hospital were studied to explore and analyze the rate, related factors and patterns of multimorbidity of overweight and obesity-related diseases in children in Hunan Province. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression models were used to analyze the multimorbidity-related factors of overweight and obesity-related diseases in children. Association rules (apriori algorithm) were used to explore the multimorbidity patterns of overweight and obesity-related diseases in children. A total of 725 overweight and obese children were included in this study. The multimorbidity rate of overweight and obesity-related diseases in children was 46.07% (334/725). Age, waist circumference, the frequency of food consumption such as hamburgers and fries and adding meals before bedtime were multimorbidity-related factors of overweight and obesity-related diseases in children. The multimorbidity associated with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) was relatively common. The patterns with the top three support degrees were "NAFLD+dyslipidemia","NAFLD+hypertension" and "NAFLD+hyperuricemia". The patterns with the top three confidence and elevation degrees were "Hypertension+dyslipidemia => NAFLD","Hyperuricemia => NAFLD" and "NAFLD+hypertension => dyslipidemia".

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate and summarize the clinicopathological features, immunophenotype, differential diagnosis and prognosis analysis of mucinous tubular and spindle cell carcinoma (MTSCC). METHODS The data of thirteen cases of MTSCC were retrospectively analyzed, the clinical and pathological characteristics and immunohistochemical expression were summarized, and fluorescence in situ hybridization was detected. RESULTS Among the thirteen patients, four were males and nine females, with a male-to-female ratio of 1 ∶2.25. The average age was 57.1 years, ranging from 39 to 78 years. The maximum diameter of the tumor was 2-12 cm. All cases had no symptoms, and were accidentally discovered, 3 cases underwent partial renal resection, 10 cases underwent radical renal resection, 9 cases were located in the left kidney, and 4 cases were located in the right kidney. Most of the cases showed the classical morphological changes, with 11 cases of nuclear grading [World Health Organization (WHO)/International Society of Urological Pathology (ISUP) grading system] being G2 and 2 cases being G3. There were 6 cases of stage PT1a, 3 cases of PT1b, 2 cases of PT2a, and 1 case of PT2b and 1 case of PT3a. The positive rates of immunohistochemical staining were: vimentin, AE1/AE3, α-methylacyl-CoA racemase (αMACR) and cytokeratin (CK) 8/18, 100% (13/13); CK7, 92.3% (12/13); epithelial membrane antigen (EMA), 92.3% (12/13); CK20, 46.2% (6/13); CD10, 30.8% (4/13); synaptophysin (Syn), 7.7% (1/13); chromogranin A (CgA), CD57, WT1 and Ki-67, 0 (0/13), and fluorescence in situ hybridization showed that no trisomy of chromosomes 7 and 17 were observed in any of the cases. The follow-up period was 6 months to 7 years and 6 months, 2 cases died after lung metastasis (one with ISUP/WHO grade G3, one with necrosis), and the remaining 11 cases had no recurrence and metastasis. CONCLUSION MTSCC is a unique type of low-grade malignancy kidney tumor, occurs predominantly in females, widely distributed in age, the current treatment method is surgical resection, and cases with necrosis and high-grade morphology are prone to recurrence and metastasis, although most cases have a good prognosis, but they still need close follow-up after surgery.

Methods: Retrospective analysis was made on the clinical data of patients who performed transoral robotic thyroidectomy (TORT group) or bilateral breast-axillary approach (BABA group) in the Department of Thyroid and Breast Surgery, the 960th Hospital of People's Liberation Army from July 2020 to May 2022. Both groups received lobectomy with lymph node dissection of the central region. A total of 100 cases were included in the study, including 48 cases in the TORT group and 52 cases in the BABA group. The propensity score matching method was used for 1∶1 matching of patients between the 2 groups, with a match tolerance of 0.03. There were 31 patients in each group successfully matched. In the TORT group, there were 5 males and 26 females, aged (33.2±7.9) years (range: 21 to 53 years). While there were 4 males and 27 females in the BABA group, aged (34.6±9.2) years (range: 19 to 58 years). The t test, Mann-Whitney U test, χ2 test or Fisher exact test were used to compare the clinical efficacy between the two groups. Results: All the patients successfully completed robotic thyroid surgery without conversion to open surgery. Compared with BABA group, the TORT group had longer operation time ((211.3±57.2) minutes vs. (126.2±37.8) minutes, t=6.915, P<0.01), shorter drainage tube retention time ((5.4±1.0) days vs. (6.4±1.2) days, t=-3.544, P=0.001), shorter total hospital stay ((6.6±1.2) days vs. (7.4±1.3) days, t=-2.353, P=0.022), and higher cosmetic score (9.46±0.25 vs. 9.27±0.26, t=2.925, P=0.005). There was no significant difference between the two groups in the number of lymph nodes dissection, metastasis in the central compartment, and the incidence of postoperative complications (all P>0.05). Conclusions: Compared with the bilateral breast-axillary approach, the transoral vestibular approach of robotic thyroidectomy is also safe and effective. It shows similar surgical results to the bilateral breast-axillary approach in strictly selected patients, but the postoperative recovery speed is much faster, and the hospital stay is shorter. Transoral robotic thyroidectomy is a more recommended surgical method for patients with high aesthetic demand.

Abstract
The Omicron variant is currently ravaging the world, raising serious concern globally. Monitoring genomic variations and determining their influence on biological features are critical for tracing its ongoing transmission and facilitating effective measures. Based on large-scale sequences from different continents, this study found that: (i) The genetic diversity of Omicron is much lower than that of the Delta variant. Still, eight deletions (Del 1-8) and 1 insertion, as well as 130 SNPs, were detected on the Omicron genomes, with two deletions (Del 3 and 4) and 38 SNPs commonly detected on all continents and exhibiting high-occurring frequencies. (ii) Four groups of tightly linked SNPs (linkage I-IV) were detected, among which linkage I, containing 38 SNPs, with 6 located in the RBD, increased its occurring frequency remarkably over time. (iii) The third codons of the Omicron shouldered the most mutation pressures, while the second codons presented the least flexibility. (iv) Four major mutants with amino acid substitutions in the RBD were detected, and further structural analysis suggested that the substitutions did not alter the viral receptor binding ability greatly. It was inferred that though the Omicron genome harbored great changes in antigenicity and remarkable ability to evade immunity, it was immune-pressure selected. This study tracked mutational signatures of Omicron variant and the potential biological significance of the SNPs, and the linkages await further functional verification.

Background
Autologous fat grafting is a common method for soft tissue defect repair. However, the high absorption rate of transplanted fat is currently a bottleneck in the process. Excessive inflammation is one of the main reasons for poor fat transplantation. Salvianolic acid B (Sal-B) is an herbal medicine that can be used to improve the effectiveness of fat transplantation. This article will explore the role of Sal-B in the inflammatory response to fat transplantation and its related mechanisms.
Objective
Aiming to improve fat graft survival by injecting Sal-B into fat grafts locally.
Methods
In vivo, 0.2 ml of Coleman fat was transplanted into nude mice along with Sal-B. The grafts were evaluated by histological analysis at 2-, 4- and 12-weeks post-transplantation and by micro-computed tomography (CT) at 4 weeks post-transplantation. In vitro, ribonucleic acid sequencing (RNA-Seq), cell proliferation assays, anti-inflammatory activity assays, molecular docking studies and kinase activity assays were performed in RAW264.7 cells to detect the potential mechanism.
Results
Sal-B significantly improved fat graft survival and attenuated adipose tissue fibrosis and inflammation. Sal-B also inhibited the polarization of M1 macrophages in fat grafts. In vitro, Sal-B inhibited the proliferation and activation of inflammatory pathways in RAW264.7 cells. In addition, Sal-B had an inhibitory effect on nuclear factor of kappa light polypeptide gene enhancer in B cells (NF-κB) signalling. This bioactivity of Sal-B may result from its selective binding to the kinase domain of inhibitor of nuclear factor kappa B kinase subunit beta (IKK-β).
Conclusions
Sal-B could serve as a promising agent for improving the effect of fat transplantation by inhibiting the polarization of M1 macrophages through NF-κB signalling.

Abstract
Abstract
Background
Rectal cancer (RC) is one of the most common malignant tumors. Ferroptosis is an iron-dependent form of cell death, which plays an important role in various cancers. However, the correlation between ferroptosis-related genes (FRGs) and prognosis in RC remains unclear.
Methods
Gene expression data from The Cancer Genome Atlas Rectum adenocarcinoma (TCGA-READ) and GSE87211 were downloaded. Clustering and functional enrichment were evaluated. A FRGs risk score was established based on the univariate Cox analysis and the Least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) analysis. K-M analysis and ROC analysis were conducted to determine prognostic values. qRT-PCR was performed to validate levels of mRNA expression. Multivariate Cox analysis was used to build a prognostic prediction model based on the risk score.
Results
Based on FRGs, RC patients were grouped into two clusters. In the functional enrichment of differentially expressed genes between the two clusters, immune-related pathways dominated. A novel FRGs signature with 14 genes related to the overall survival (OS) of RC was established. qRT-PCR of the 14 genes identified TP63, ISCU, PLIN4, MAP3K5, OXSR, FANCD2 and ATM were overexpressed in RC tissue; HSPB1, MAPK1, ABCC1, PANX1, MAPK9 and ATG7 were underexpressed; TUBE1 had no difference. The high-risk group had a significantly lower OS than the low-risk group (P < 0.001), and ROC curve analysis confirmed the signature’s predictive capacity. Multivariate analysis demonstrated that the risk score and age were independent prognostic factors.
Conclusion
A novel FRGs model can be used to predict the prognosis in RC, as well as to guide individual treatment.

Abstract
The precise mechanism of texture changes in abalone muscles during boiling was investigated using quantitative proteomic analysis. A total 353 water-soluble proteins were identified in fresh abalone muscle. The number was decreased to 233 (6 min) and 201 (30 min), and then increased to 271 (240 min) during boiling. The undetectable protein in water-soluble fraction caused by boiling mainly belong to hemocyanins, protein kinases, dehydrogenases, phosphorylases, and transferases, while the newly identified proteins in water-soluble fraction during boiling mainly belong to collagen and myofibrillar proteins (MPs).Additionally, results also showed that boiling caused protein oxidation, denaturation, aggregation, crosslinking and degradation. Combined with the texture changes of abalone muscles during boiling, it was speculated that the oxidation, denaturation, aggregation and crosslinking of proteins led to the increase of shear force, however, the degradation of structural proteins such as MPs and collagen caused the decreases in shear force and hardness.

Abstract
Delirium is an acute brain dysfunction that is a common and difficult-to-eliminate problem in the ICU. It is an important factor leading to prolonged hospital stay, increased treatment costs, and long-term cognitive impairment. Nonetheless, compared with the treatment of respiratory failure and its primary disease, the prevention and treatment measurements of delirium have not received enough attention, and its management strategies are still controversial. Evidence-based medicine currently does not support pharmacological approaches to preventing or treating delirium. Instead, it adopts a combination of multiple nonpharmacological methods to manage delirium in ICU patients through standardized evaluation and monitoring under the guidance of doctors and the cooperation of patients and their families.

Abstract
Objective: To systematically analyze the IgG seroprevalence of mumps virus (MuV) in Chinese healthy population, and evaluate the immune effect based on the immunization strategy and the incidence of mumps in China. Methods: The databases of Wanfang data knowledge service platform, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, SinoMed, PubMed, and Web of Science were searched to retrieve literature about the level of MuV IgG antibody in Chinese healthy population from January 1, 2000, to March 31, 2022. The quality of eligible papers was appraised by using the cross-sectional study evaluation tool from Joanna Briggs Institute. Data analysis, including the stratified analysis of the IgG seroprevalence in different generations, regions, gender, immunization status, and age groups, was performed using R 4.1.2 and Stata 16.0. Results: A total of 69 papers (66 in Chinese and 3 in English) were included, involving 97 034 people in 26 administrative regions across China. The results showed that the MuV IgG seroprevalence in Chinese healthy population was 74.87% (95%CI: 71.41%-78.17%) and increased over time according to the cumulative Meta-analysis. The geometric mean concentration of antibody was 177.83 U/ml. The subgroup analysis showed that the positive rate of MuV IgG antibody increased with the age and vaccination doses. The positive rate of antibody in children aged from 0 to 17 months was only 32.42% (95%CI: 25.96%-38.88%). The highest positive rate was reported in North China, about 81.45% (95%CI: 75.76%-87.14%). In addition, the positive rate of MuV IgG antibody in urban population was higher than that in rural population (P<0.01) and the positive rate of MuV IgG antibody in women was higher than that in men (P<0.01). Conclusion: Since the vaccine was included in the expanded immunization program, the positive rate of mumps antibody in China has increased, and the antibody level varies in different regions and populations. It is still necessary to improve the MuV antibody level in Chinese healthy population, so as to better prevent and control the mumps epidemic in the future.

Abstract
The objective of this study was to reveal the effects of boiling processing on the texture of scallop adductor muscle (SAM) and its mechanism. Compared to the fresh sample, all the texture indicators, including the hardness, chewiness, springiness, resilience, cohesiveness, and shear force of 30-s- and 3-min-boiled SAMs increased time-dependently (p < 0.05). As the boiling time increased further to 15 min, the shear force and cohesiveness still increased significantly (p < 0.05), and the resilience and hardness were maintained (p > 0.05), but the springiness and chewiness decreased significantly (p < 0.05). The overall increase in the texture indicators of the boiled SAMs was due to the boiling-induced protein denaturation, aggregation, and increased hydrophobicity, resulting in the longitudinal contraction and lateral expansion of myofibrils, the longitudinal contraction and lateral cross-linked aggregation of muscle fibers, and the loss of free water. However, the decreasing springiness and chewiness of the 15-min-boiled SAMs was due to the significant degradation of proteins (especially collagen), resulting in the destruction of the connective tissue between the muscle fiber clusters. Both from a subjective sensory point of view and from the objective point of view of protein denaturation and degradation, 3-min-boiled SAMs are recommended. The quality improvement of thermally processed products by controlled, moderate cooking is of practical value from the perspective of food consumption.

Abstract
Severe winter haze events in Beijing and North China Plain are characterized by rapid production of sulfate aerosols with unresolved mechanisms. Oxidation of SO2 by O2 in the absence of metal catalysts (uncatalyzed autoxidation) represents the most ubiquitous SO2 conversion pathway in the atmosphere. However, this reaction has long been regarded as too slow to be atmospherically meaningful. This traditional view was based on the kinetic studies conducted in bulk dilute solutions that mimic cloudwater but deviate from urban aerosols. Here, we directly measure the sulfate formation rate via uncatalyzed SO2 autoxidation in single (NH4)2SO4 microdroplets, by using an aerosol optical tweezer coupled with a cavity-enhanced Raman spectroscopy technique. We find that the aqueous reaction of uncatalyzed SO2 autoxidation is accelerated by two orders of magnitude at the high ionic strength (∼36 molal) conditions in the supersaturated aerosol water. Furthermore, at acidic conditions (pH 3.5-4.5), uncatalyzed autoxidation predominately occurs on droplet surface, with a reaction rate unconstrained by SO2 solubility. With these rate enhancements, we estimate that the uncatalyzed SO2 autoxidation in aerosols can produce sulfate at a rate up to 0.20 μg m-3 hr-1, under the winter air pollution condition in Beijing.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze and compare the differentially expressed genes (DEGs) of Yes-associated protein (YAP)-positive and negative hepatocytes and further understand the preliminary functional characteristics of YAP-positive hepatocytes in an early mouse model of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) with transcriptome sequence (RNA-Seq). Methods: C57BL/6 mice were fed with methionine-choline deficiency (MCD) diet for 2 weeks to establish an early NASH model, and the control group was fed with normal diet. Liver tissue was stained with hematoxylin-eosin (HE) and Sirius red, and the pathological score was recorded. The expression of YAP and P-YAP were determined by immunohistochemistry (IHC) in liver tissues. Primary hepatocytes with viability greater than 90% were isolated and purified by collagenase perfusion combined with Percoll density gradient centrifugation. YAP-positive and negative hepatocytes were assessed by YAP antibody, flow cytometry and RNA-Seq analyses. Sequencing results were screened by GO, KEGG and interaction network analysis methods. RT-PCR was used to verify the expression levels of YAP and some DEGs in liver tissue model group. Two samples mean was compared by independent samples t-test. Results: Compared with the control group, the HE-stained liver tissue of MCD-induced mice at 2 weeks showed steatosis (pathological score 1.07±0.21), accompanied by lobular inflammation (pathological score 1.13±0.32) and ballooned hepatocyte (pathological score 0.80) ±0.20). Sirius red staining showed non-significant liver fibrosis (pathological score 0.40±0.40). IHC showed partial YAP-positive hepatocytes expression in an early stage of NASH. RNA-Seq analysis showed that clean reads of YAP-positive and negative hepatocytes were 49 310 604 and 5 4820 036, respectively. Compared with YAP-negative hepatocytes, YAP-positive hepatocytes had differential expression of 5 565 genes, including 1 662 up-regulated genes and 3 903 down-regulated genes. GO analysis of up-regulated genes showed that the metabolic processes related to mitochondrial functions, such as purine nucleoside triphosphate and nucleoside triphosphate were significantly enriched in biological processes (BP), while down-regulated gene analysis showed that olfactory-related receptor were significantly enriched in BP. KEGG analysis showed that DEGs were enriched in 292 pathways, and oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS) pathway was significantly enriched in signaling pathway. RT-PCR validated that inflammatory factors (interleukin-1β, interleukin-6), YAP and its target genes (Cyr61, Ankrd1), and Cox5b and Sdhc genes were significantly up-regulated in the OXPHOS pathway, which was consistent with the sequencing results. In addition, eight key genes with interaction network analysis were predicted. Conclusion: Changes in hepatocyte metabolic levels may be associated with increased YAP activity in an early stage of NASH.

Abstract
Today, there is greater awareness on the association between oral diseases and respiration diseases after the outbreak of COVID-19. However, confusion regarding the oral health management and medical risk prevention for patients with chronic airway diseases has been remained among dental clinicians. Therefore, the dental experts of the Fifth General Dentistry Special Committee, Chinese Stomatological Association, combined with the experts of respiratory and critical care medicine, undertook the formation of consensus on the oral health management of patients with chronic airway diseases in order to help dental clinicians to evaluate medical risks and make better treatment decision in clinical practice. In the present consensus report, the relationship of oral diseases and chronic airway diseases, the oral health management and the treatment recommendations of patients with chronic airway diseases are provided.

Abstract
Cultivation techniques have an important influence on grain yield of maize. This experiment investigated the effect of stover return (SR) and different nitrogen (N) application rate on soil organic carbon (SOC) composition, soil nutrient and maize yield. Different nitrogen application rate 100 (N100), 150 (N150), 200 (N200), 250 (N250) or 300 (N300) kg ha-1 applied to the maize field with stover return and without stover return traditional planting (TP) method. Nitrogen application rate and stover return affected the SOC, labile organic carbon (LOC), microbial biomass (MBC), NO3 - -N, NH4 + -N and maize yield. Soil N, soil carbon content and maize yield of SR were all higher than TP. The SOC content of SR and TP were 9.67 and 9.19 g kg-1 , respectively. Nitrogen application was significantly and positively correlated with soil MBC, LOC, SOC, NO3 - -N, NH4 + -N and yield. The maximum values of SOC composition, soil nutrients and maize yield were reached at SR with 250 kg ha-1 . Stover return with application of N 250 kg ha-1 significantly increased the growth attribute and maize yield in subtropical region compared with traditional planting.

Abstract
The effects of oxidation on protein digestion and transport in cooked abalone muscles were investigated using a combination of simulated digestion and everted-rat-gut-sac models for the first time. Boiling heat treatments caused protein oxidation in the abalone muscles, reflected by increases in the carbonyl group and disulfide bond contents, protein hydrophobicity and aggregation degree, as well as decreases in the free sulfhydryl group and amino acid contents. Protein oxidation significantly inhibited the degree of hydrolysis, digestion rate, and digestibility of the abalone muscles in the simulated digestion model. The results from the everted-rat-gut-sac model showed that amino acid and peptide transport levels from the digestion products of the cooked abalone muscles were lower than those of the uncooked samples. In contrast, the addition of antioxidants of bamboo leaves mitigated heat-treatment-induced protein oxidation, aggregation and increased hydrophobicity, and consequently improved abalone muscle protein digestibility and transport levels.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinicopathological features of very well-differentiated adenocarcinoma (VWDA) of the stomach. Methods: The clinicopathological data of 12 cases of VWDA of the stomach were collected retrospectively at the People's Liberation Army Joint Logistics Support Force 989 Hospital (formerly 152 Hospital), Pingdingshan, China, from January 2013 to May 2021. The histological characteristics and immunophenotypes were observed and analyzed with review of current literature. Results: There were 8 males and 4 females with a median age of 63 years (range 47 to 80 years). The tumor involved in the upper part of the stomach in 6 cases, the middle part in 2 cases, and the lower part in 4 cases. The median diameter of the tumors was 17 mm (range 5-65 mm). The tumor cells were similar to absorbent cells, Paneth cells, foveolar epithelial cells, and goblet cells. The cells were arranged in a single layer, and the nuclei were slightly enlarged and located at the base. The nuclei were fusiform to slightly irregular, with loss of nuclear polarity. Early tubular VWDA was found in 9 cases, and the tumor glands were similar to intestinal metaplasia. In two cases the tumors infiltrated into the submucosa. The lesions in the mucosa and submucosa showed the glands with cystic expansion, bending, branching, spiky and abortive growth pattern. One case of early papillary tubular VWDA was confined to the mucosal layer and composed of foveolar-type epithelial cells. There were two cases of advanced papillary tubular VWDA, which consisted of foveolar-type epithelial, pyloric glands, or mucinous neck cells and were associated with intra-lymphatic cancer embolus and lymph node metastases. Background mucosal atrophy and intestinal metaplasia were observed in all cases. Immunohistochemical staining showed intestinal type VWDA in 1 case, mixed gastrointestinal type VWDA in 9 cases, and gastric type VWDA in 2 cases. The Ki-67 proliferation index of 8 cases limited to the mucosa was 40%-70%, 2 cases of infiltration into the submucosa and 2 cases of advanced carcinoma was 10%-25%. All the tumors showed a wild type of p53 protein expression pattern and negative HER2. Adenocarcinoma or high-grade dysplasia was diagnosed on preoperative biopsy in 5 cases, and chronic atrophic gastritis with intestinal metaplasia in 7 cases. The median follow-up time was 28 months (range 12-72 months). No recurrence was found in the 10 patients with early cancer. Of the two patients with advanced carcinoma, one patient had lung metastases and the other died. Conclusions: Gastric VWDA is a rare low-grade malignancy with structural features of highly differentiated adenocarcinoma and extremely low cytological atypia. The diagnostic value of structural abnormality is significantly greater than cytological atypia. The invasive growth of irregular glands in the deep mucosa and submucosa is reliable evidence for diagnosis. The diagnosis of intramucosal VWDA is challenging and very difficult in some biopsy specimens.

Abstract
Background Transanal endoscopic microsurgery (TEM) has been accepted worldwide for the treatment of local rectal lesions. We aimed to assess the efficacy and safety of TEM in the treatment of rectal neuroendocrine tumors (RNET). Methods A retrospective study of patients who had undergone TEM for RNET at our institution between December 2006 and June 2019 was performed. Demographic and tumor characteristics, operative and pathological details, complications, anal function questionnaires, and follow-up data were included. Results A total of 144 patients was included. TEM was performed as primary excision in 54 patients, after endoscopic forceps biopsy in 57 patients, and after incomplete resection by endoscopic excision in 33 patients. The median size of all primary tumors was 0.6 cm (range, 0.3–2.0 cm), and the negative resection margin was achieved in 142 (98.6%) patients. Postoperative complications (referring to only bleeding) occurred in 3 (2.1%) patients and was successfully managed with conservative method. After a median follow-up of 75.5 months after surgery, 3 patients died of other causes, and 2 patients suffered metastasis. An anal function questionnaire was posted 24 months after TEM. Among the results, 3 (2.1%) patients complained of major low anterior resection syndrome (LARS), including 1 (0.7%) who suffered from complete incontinence, while 6 (4.2%) patients had minor LARS. Conclusions TEM has satisfying long-term outcomes and relatively low anal function disturbance as for the treatment of small RNET. TEM also acts as a preferred salvage treatment for incomplete endoscopic excision.

Abstract
To date, although there are many studies investigating the toxicity of heavy metal to plant, little research exists in the seasonal freeze-thaw (FT) regions where FT cycles often happen during the plant growing process. To reveal the adaptive mechanisms of plants to the combination stresses of cadmium (Cd) and FT, the Cd accumulation, subcellular distribution, chemical forms, and antioxidant enzyme activity (peroxidase (POD)) were investigated in spinach (Spinacia oleracea L.) growing under different soil Cd levels (i.e., 0.10 mg Cd kg-1 soil (low), 1.21 mg Cd kg-1 soil (medium), and 2.57 mg Cd kg-1 soil (high)). Compared to the non-freeze-thaw (NFT) treatments, higher Cd concentrations in the root and lower translocation factors from root to leaf were found for the plants experiencing FT cycles. FT significantly decreased the Cd concentrations in the leaves under the low- and medium-Cd treatments, while similar values were found for the high-Cd treatments. Generally, FT could decrease the concentrations and proportions of Cd stored in the cell wall and soluble fractions and increase them in the organelle fractions for the medium- and high-Cd treatments, while opposite tendency was found for the low-Cd treatments. Moreover, larger Cd amounts in the inorganic and water-soluble forms were found for the low- and medium-Cd treated plants under FT, while lower values were found for the high-Cd treatments. Additionally, POD, which presented higher activities at the low- and medium-Cd treatments and lower activities at the high-Cd treatments under FT, were also significantly influenced by the Cd × FT interaction. This study indicated that FT could significantly change the accumulations of Cd in plant, and it provided a new insight into the Cd accumulation by plants in the seasonal FT region.

Abstract
Abstract
Background
Acute Stanford type A aortic dissection (ATAAD) is the most common catastrophic aortic event. Most ATAAD involves the aortic root which has many important anatomical structures such as aortic valve, so the proper treatment of dissected root can ensure a good prognosis for patients. However, there is still no consensus on root management strategies for ATAAD patients with aortic root involvement.
Purpose
This clinical study aimed to evaluate the therapeutic effect of modified aortic root repair in ATAAD.
Methods
From September 2017 to September 2020, Participants with root involvement of ATAAD were recruited who underwent modified aortic root repair as well as some additional procedure such as aortic valve junction suspension plasty based on the aortic sinus tear extent. During this novel procedure, the proximal anastomosis plane was at the level of the sinu-tubular junction and the false lumen below it was retained. We collected and analyzed the perioperative clinical data and follow-up imaging data of patients, and further evaluated the early and mid-term efficacy of this surgical approach.
Results
A total of 79 patients were enrolled, including 59 males and 20 females, the age was (52.4±11.3) years old (28–73 years), the diameter of aortic sinus was (38.6±4.1) mm, and the diameter of sinu-tubular junction was (41.8±4.8) mm. In this group, 75 patients (94.9%) received ascending aorta replacement, total arch replacement and frozen elephant trunk, 2 patients (2.5%) received ascending aorta replacement and hybrid total arch replacement, 2 patients (2.5%) received ascending aorta replacement and partial arch replacement. Cardiopulmonary bypass time was (197.2±58.6) min (118–455 min), blocking time was (132.6±38.9) min (73–323 min), circulatory arrest time was (10.3±7.0) min (0–27 min). There was no perioperative death, no paraplegia, one secondary thoracotomy, five renal failures needing hemodialysis treatment and two cerebral infarctions. Before patients discharged, aortic CTA showed that the residual false lumen in the sinus disappeared. And the diameter of the aortic sinus was (35.5±3.1) mm, the diameter of the junction of the aortic sinus was (30.0±3.0) mm. The patients were followed up for (18±12) months (3–35 months). There was one patient died during follow-up and no further surgical intervention at the root of the aorta. Follow-up aortic CTA showed no residual or new dissection in the aortic sinus and no significant difference in the diameters of aortic sinu-tubular junction (P=0.122) or aortic sinus (P=0.37) between postoperative period and follow-up period. Echocardiography showed that the structure and function of the aortic valve were normal.
Conclusions
The modified aortic root repair for ATAAD is relatively simple, easy to learn and safe in perioperative period. Early and mid-term follow-up image examination showed that the structure of aortic sinus returned to normal. The long-term clinical effect requires close attention.

Abstract
A novel magnetic metal-organic frameworks (Fe3O4@UiO-66-SH) was successfully prepared by coating Fe3O4 nanospheres with sulfur-functionalized UiO-66. The Fe3O4@UiO-66-SH possesses both the magnetic properties of Fe3O4 and the diverse properties of metal-organic framework (MOF) in one material, which has the superiority of high surface area, easy-operation and strong adsorb ability with mercury, is used for the magnetic solid-phase extraction of methylmercury (MeHg+) and inorganic mercury (Hg2+) in water and fish samples. The analyzes were conducted by high performance liquid chromatography-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (HPLC-ICP-MS). The different pretreatment conditions influencing the extraction recoveries of Hg2+ and MeHg+, including adsorbent amount, pH, extraction time, elution solvent, elution volume, desorption time, co-existing ions and dissolved organic materials were investigated. Under the optimized conditions, the limits of detection (LODs) of Hg2+ and MeHg+ for water samples were 1.4 and 2.6 ng L-1, and the limits of quantification (LOQs) of Hg2+ and MeHg+ for water samples were 4.7 and 8.7 ng L-1. The enrichment factors (EFs) were 45.7 and 47.6 fold for Hg2+ and MeHg+, respectively. The accuracy of the proposed method was demonstrated by analyzing the certified reference material of fish tissue (GBW10029) and by determining the analyte content in spiked water and fish samples. The determined values were in good agreement with the certified values and the recoveries for the spiked samples were in the range of 84.5-96.8%.

目的 筛选并分析与弥漫大B细胞淋巴瘤(DLBCL)预后相关的免疫表型,探究其预后价值。 方法 选取天津医科大学肿瘤医院2011年1月至2016年12月收治的163例DLBCL患者,免疫组织化学染色检测DLBCL常见免疫表型,COX模型探索独立于国际预后指数(IPI)影响总生存(OS)与无进展生存(PFS)的免疫表型,并分析其两两联合表达对预后的影响。 结果 多因素分析显示BCL6阴性(PFS:HR=1.652,95% CI 1.030~2.649,P=0.037)、P53阳性(OS:HR=1.842,95% CI 1.008~3.367,P=0.047)、BCL2强阳性(OS:HR=2.102,95%CI 1.249~3.537,P=0.005;PFS:HR=2.126,95% CI 1.312~3.443,P=0.002)是DLBCL中独立于IPI的预后不良因素。亚组分析显示,在年龄≤60岁组患者中BCL6阴性(PFS:HR=2.042,95%CI 1.021~4.081,P=0.043)、P53阳性(OS:HR=3.069,95% CI 1.244~7.569,P=0.015)和BCL2强阳性(OS:HR=2.433,95% CI 1.165~5.082,P=0.018;PFS:HR=3.209,95%CI 1.606~6.410,P=0.001)对预后影响显著;在IPI 0~2分亚组患者中,BCL6阴性(OS:HR=2.467,95%CI 1.322~4.604,P=0.005;PFS:HR=2.248,95%CI 1.275~3.965,P=0.005)和BCL2强阳性(PFS:HR=2.045,95%CI 1.119~3.735,P=0.020)对预后影响显著。BCL6和BCL2强阳性的联合表达与DLBCL的预后相关(P=0.005和P<0.001),BCL6阳性/BCL2非强阳性(86例)预后最好[3年OS率(71.6±4.9)%,3年PFS率(67.0±5.1)%],BCL6阴性/BCL2强阳性(10例)预后最差[3年OS率(20.0±12.6)%,3年PFS率(10.0±9.5)%];BCL6、P53的联合表达与DLBCL的预后差异无统计学意义(P=0.061和P=0.089),但生存曲线显示BCL6阳性/P53阴性的病例(98例)预后较好[3年OS率(70.6±4.7)%,3年PFS率(64.6±4.9)%];BCL2强阳性、P53的联合表达与DLBCL的预后显著相关(P<0.001和P<0.001),BCL2强阳性/P53阳性的病例(5例)预后最差(3年OS率和PFS率均为0);无论BCL6与P53表达如何,BCL2强阳性的病例预后均比非强阳性病例差。 结论 BCL6阴性、P53阳性、BCL2强阳性三种免疫表型单独及联合表达对DLBCL尤其是年龄≤60岁和IPI 0~2分患者的预后预测具有一定价值。

Abstract
Cold acclimation is an effective approach for improving the nitrogen removal performance and operational stability of partial nitritation/ANAMMOX (PN/A) combined processes at low temperatures. To explore the specific effects of cold acclimation on the characteristics of sludge, differentiations in temperature sensitivity, granular morphology, composition of extracellular polymer substance (EPS), and bacterial community structure between PN/A granular sludges cultivated at medium-high temperature (30℃) and acclimated to low temperature (15℃) were investigated in this study. The results of reaction thermodynamics showed that the nitrogen removal performance of the granules acclimated to low temperature (GL) was significantly higher than that of those cultivated at medium-high temperature (GH) under the low temperature (10-20℃), and the apparent activation energy (Ea) of total inorganic nitrogen removal for the former was decreased by 28.4%. Compared with GH, GL had a smaller average particle size of 25.8% and higher EPS contents of 16.6%, resulting in a significant lower settling property. Based on the high-throughput sequencing results, GL exhibited a higher diversity of bacterial community, and a lower relative abundance ratio (0.04) of aerobic ammonium-oxidizing bacteria (Nitrosomonas) and anaerobic ammonium-oxidizing bacteria (Candidatus_Kuenenia) than 0.34 for GH. It indicated that the PN/A granules held a strong ability to retain slow-growing autotrophic bacteria in the system, even under low temperatures. These findings could provide meaningful references for analyzing the self-adaption mechanisms of PN/A sludge to low temperature conditions and promote the industrial application of combined processes.

Abstract
Based on self-determination theory and job characteristics theory, this study aims to provide a systematic and comprehensive model simultaneously investigating the relationship between job characteristics and two forms of work motivation (i.e., controlled motivation and autonomous motivation). To examine the proposed model, we recruited employees working in multiple Chinese industries and collected 435 valid questionnaires. The results indicate that job characteristics have a significantly positive effect on basic psychological needs satisfaction, which, in turn, positively affects autonomous motivation and negatively influences controlled motivation. In addition, basic psychological needs satisfaction mediates the linkage between job characteristics and positive or negative work motivation. Moreover, when an employee had high positive affectivity, job characteristics were more likely to fuel their basic psychological needs satisfaction. In contrast, job characteristics were more likely to be the depressor of these needs satisfaction when an employee possesses high negative affectivity. Our findings revealed that the degree of three needs satisfaction at work is a convincing and identifiable psychological mechanism between job characteristics and two types of work motivation. Also, work affectivity may influence the different perceptions of job characteristics, reminding managers that personality traits are a non-negligible factor in job design. Overall, this paper extends the application of the job characteristics model by revealing when and how job characteristics influence two types of work motivation and further puts forward managerial implications.

Abstract
Objective To compare the clinical effects of cervical decompression first, lumbar decompression first, or simultaneous decompression of both lesions in the treatment of tandem spinal stenosis (TSS). Methods This is a retrospective analysis. From January 2013 to December 2018, 51 TSS patients underwent our surgery and postoperative investigation. Among the 51 subjects, 27 females and 24 males, aged 49–77 years with an average age of 66.3 ± 6.8, were selected. According to the different operation sequences, all patients were divided into three groups. In simultaneous operation group, five patients underwent cervical and lumbar vertebrae surgery at the same time. In first cervical surgery group, 28 patients underwent cervical vertebra surgery first, followed by lumbar spine surgery after a period of recovery. And in first lumbar surgery group, 18 patients underwent lumbar vertebrae surgery first. The choice for neck surgery is posterior cervical single‐door vertebroplasty, the surgery of lumber is plate excision and decompression needle‐rod system internal fixation. The outcome measures are visual analogue scale (VAS), Japanese Orthopaedic Association cervical (JOA‐C) and lumbar (JOA‐L) scores, which were assessed at 3 months and 1 year after the operation by telephone interview. In addition, operative time, estimated blood loss, and hospital stay were also recorded. Results All the patients in the study had surgery performed successfully by the same group of orthopaedic surgeons. The preoperative VAS scores of simultaneous operation group, first cervical surgery group, and first lumbar surgery group were 8.00 ± 1.00, 8.36 ± 0.68, and 8.17 ± 0.71 (P > 0.05). The preoperative JOA‐C scores were 7.00 ± 2.35, 6.54 ± 1.53, and 7.83 ± 1.04 (P < 0.05). And the preoperative JOA‐L scores were 7.20 ± 2.17, 4.64 ± 2.36, and 5.78 ± 1.22 respectively (P < 0.05). During the final 1‐year follow‐up, the JOA‐C improvement rates of simultaneous operation group, first cervical surgery group, and first lumbar surgery group were 85.68% ± 5.44%, 84.27% ± 5.02%, and 83.34% ± 10.25%, respectively (P > 0.05), and the JOA‐L improvement rates were 80.04% ± 3.35%, 81.65% ± 3.74%, and 80.21% ± 4.76% (P > 0.05). The difference among them was not statistically significant. In addition, operation time (OP), blood loss (BL), and hospital stay (HS) in the simultaneous operation group were 245.00 ± 5.00 min, 480.00 ± 27.39 mL, and 16.60 ± 0.55 days, respectively. While those parameters in the first cervical surgery group were 342.50 ± 18.18 min, 528.21 ± 43.97 mL, and 22.75 ± 2.15 days, and in the first lumbar surgery group they were 346.11 ± 24.77 min, 519.44 ± 43.99 mL, and 22.89 ± 1.64 days. The average blood loss in simultaneous operation group was less (P > 0.05); meanwhile, the operation time and hospital stay time were significantly shorter in the simultaneous operation group than in the first cervical surgery group and first lumbar surgery group (P < 0.05). Only one case of fat liquefaction occurred in first cervical surgery group, which healed spontaneously after a regular change of dressing for 1 month. Conclusions Under the condition of ensuring the surgical effect, the choice of staged surgery or concurrent surgery according to the patients' own symptoms of cervical and lumbar symptoms could both obtain satisfactory results, and the damage of simultaneous surgery was less than that of staged surgery.

Abstract
Fas binding factor 1 (Fbf1) is one of the distal appendage proteins in the centriole, located at its distal and proximal ends. It influences the duplication and separation of centrosomes, thereby affecting the progression of the cell cycle during mitosis. However, the function of Fbf1 in meiosis has remained unclear. To explore the role of Fbf1 in the in vitro maturation of mouse oocyte, immunofluorescence staining was used to examine the Fbf1 location in the oocyte and their phenotype after protein deletion. Western blot was used to examine the protein abundance. This study showed that mouse oocytes express Fbf1 which locates at the spindle poles and around the microtubules. Through taxol and nocodazole treatment, and microinjection of siRNA, it was demonstrated that Fbf1 had an important role in the spindle assembly and chromosome separation during mouse oocyte meiosis In particular, microinjection of Fbf1-siRNA resulted in severe abnormalities in the spindle and chromosome arrangement, decreased aggregation of microtubules, disrupted the first oocyte meiosis, and the extrusion of the first polar body. Furthermore, in the Fbf1-siRNA group, there was reduced expression of Plk1 and its agglutination at the spindle poles, along with retarded chromosome segregation due to the activation of the spindle assembly checkpoint (SAC) component BubR1. These results indicate that Fbf1 may function in microtubule depolymerization and agglutination, control the microtubule dynamics, spindle assembly and chromosome arrangement and, thus, influence the mouse oocyte meiotic maturation.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Neovascular glaucoma (NVG) can cause irreversible visual impairment and abnormal spontaneous changes in brain's visual system and other systems. There is little research on this aspect at present. However, amplitude of low-frequency fluctuations (ALFFs) can be used as an rs-fMRI analysis technique for testing changes in spontaneous brain activity patterns. PURPOSE The aim of this study was to probe the local characteristics of spontaneous brain activity in NVG patients and analyze their correlation with clinical behaviors. METHODS Resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs-fMRI) scans were obtained from eighteen patients with NVG (8 males, 10 females) and eighteen healthy controls (HCs; 8 males and 10 females) who were matched in age, gender, and education level. We evaluated spontaneous brain activity with the ALFF method. A receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was used to compare the average ALFF values for altered brain regions of NVG patients with those of HCs. RESULTS Compared with HCs, NVG patients had lower ALFF values in the right cuneus, right middle occipital gyrus, left cingulate gyrus, right precuneus, and left medial frontal gyrus (p < 0.001). Higher ALFF values were observed in the right superior frontal gyrus and left middle frontal gyrus (p < 0.001). Analysis of the ROC curves of the brain regions showed that the specificity and accuracy of ALFF values between NVG and HCs in the area under the curve were acceptable (p < 0.001). CONCLUSION The patients with NVG exhibited anomalous spontaneous activity in different brain regions; these finding should establish the foundation for a more comprehensive understanding of the pathological mechanisms of NVG. Furthermore, these abnormal variations in specific brain regions can be considered possible clinical indices of NVG.

Abstract
Clostridioides difficile is a key pathogen of antibiotic related diarrhea and hospital associated infection, causing several outbreaks in Europe and North Americans and resulting in severe disease burden. However, the standardized diagnostic principle and detection specifications in C. difficile infection (CDI) survey are limited in China, and the infection rate and disease burden of CDI in China are unclear. Therefore, National Institute for Communicable Disease Control and Prevention,National Institute for Communicable Disease Control and Prevention, Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, together with another 11 institutions, draft the group standard entitled "Diagnosis of Clostridium difficile infection (T/CPMA 008-2020)" of Chinese Preventive Medicine Association. Based on the principle of "legality, scientificity, advancement, and feasibility", this standard clarifies risk factors, diagnosis principles, diagnoses and differential diagnoses in order to improve the accuracy of CDI diagnosis in clinical practice, guide the surveillance for CDI, and understand the infection rate and disease burden of CDI in China.
