Abstract
The goal of this study is to provide a comprehensive review of the academic research into wine marketing over the last three decades. Data from 1135 wine marketing-related research documents published 1990-2022 in the Web of Science and Scopus databases were employed. Using mainly co-word analysis and bibliographic coupling, the key themes of the discipline were identified. A longitudinal analysis identified the topic's evolution and current research trends. Results show that wine marketing research has grown sharply in recent years. From the pioneering studies that examined consumers' behaviours and wine price drivers, the discipline evolved to address burgeoning themes such as sustainability, social media (digital marketing) and wine tourism, which evidences the interest that academics have shown in enhancing knowledge in the area.

Abstract
Background and aims The transient receptor potential ankyrin 1 (TRPA1) channel has become a focus in pain research. However, there are no bibliometric studies that systematically analyze the existing research in this area. This study aimed to provide a systematic review of the existing literature on TRPA1 using a bibliometric analysis. Methods Published literature in the field of TRPA1 was collected from the Web of Science Core Collection database. Quantitative and qualitative analyses of publications, countries, institutions, authors, journals, and other entries were conducted using Excel, VOSview, and Citespace software to provide insight into global research hotspots and trends in the TRPA1 field. Results This study included 1189 scientific products published in 398 journals from 52 countries. The United States of America (n = 367) had the most publications, ahead of Japan (n = 212) and China (n = 199). The University of Florence (n = 55) was the most productive institution and Pierangelo Geppetti (n = 46) was the most productive author. PLoS One (n = 40) published the most articles on TRPA1. Pain, cold, inflammation, covalent modification, hyperalgesia, and oxidative stress were the most common keywords used in the studies. Conclusion This study provides the first bibliometric analysis of TRPA1 publications. The physiological functions of TRPA1, TRPA1, and neuropathic pain, TRPA1 as a therapeutic target, and agonists of TRPA1 are trending in TRPA1 research. Neuropathic pain, apoptosis, and sensitization could be focus areas of future research. This study provides important insight in the field of TRPA1 research.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is the leading cause of end-stage renal disease, with an increasing prevalence worldwide, but its pathomechanisms remain incompletely understood. Accumulating evidence suggests that immunity plays an important role in the development of DN. Many papers have been published in the field over the last 20 years, but there has been no bibliometric review of the research hotspots and trends in the field. This study aimed to assess the current research status and future trends of the link between immune and DN using bibliometric analysis. METHODS Publications on the association between immunity and DN from 2004 to 2023 were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection database and screened according to inclusion criteria. VOSviewer and CiteSpace software were employed to visualize research trends and hotspots in the field. Data including author, institution, country, journal, reference, and keyword were analyzed. RESULTS Ultimately 1246 publications meeting the criteria were included in the bibliometric analysis, involving 838 articles (84.96%) and 408 reviews (15.04%). The literature covered 81 countries and regions, 1751 institutions, and 6584 authors. The top 2 countries in terms of the number of publications were China (435) and the United States (318), and they collaborated most frequently. The United States had the highest number of citations for published papers (18,161), far exceeding the other countries. England had 38 publications but had the highest average number of citations (92.32). The University of California system was the most prolific institution (25 papers, 1062 citations, 42.48 citations per paper). Frontiers in Immunology was the most prolific journal in the field (30 papers). The most cited journal was Kidney International (863 citations). The analysis of keywords and references showed that inflammation, ferroptosis, and lipid metabolism may be future research hotspots in this field. CONCLUSIONS The number of publications related to immunity and DN has increased annually over the past 20 years, with a significant increase in the last 3 years especially. Our results identified research hotspots and trends in the field. These findings provide valuable perspectives for future research, enhancing our understanding of the immune-related mechanisms of DN and exploring potential therapeutic strategies.

Abstract
This study aims to explore trends and principal research areas in the literature on Cognitive Disengagement Syndrome (CDS) in children aged 0-17 from a macro perspective. A total of 236 studies, selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria from the Web of Science and Scopus databases, formed the data source for this research. We conducted a bibliometric analysis to examine the growth of CDS literature and to identify the most productive countries, relevant journals and publications, and trending topics. Additionally, through content analysis, we identified general research themes, sample trends, and methodologies used in these studies. Our findings reveal that the relatively new field of CDS research is expanding. Our thematic analysis shows that the literature on CDS covers a broad spectrum of research topics, addressing various facets of the syndrome and identifying current research themes. The existing studies highlight the complex nature of CDS and its diverse cognitive, psychological, and neurological impacts. Our results also suggest that while research is more prevalent in certain age groups, there is a need to encompass a wider demographic range, considering CDS's potential impact across different life stages. This bibliometric analysis offers a comprehensive review of the current knowledge in the CDS field, providing a valuable resource for researchers. Our analyses and findings can guide future research in this area and suggest approaches for broader study frameworks. It is anticipated that ongoing and future research in the CDS field will incorporate these insights to more effectively address the syndrome's varied aspects and consequences.

Abstract
Background Decisions follow patterns that are introduced by human perception. Research and development (R&D) are influenced by these patterns. Furthermore, R&D publications can represent repetitive attempts to solve similar, or the same problems. Literature reviews serve as an important tool for identifying these trends, but they are time consuming. The time commitment of a literature review can be reduced by using a sample of research. This will allow an infinite population of research to be generalized. Additionally, spatiotemporal analysis is most appropriate for fields that follow time and geographic trends, such as public health. Also, using research locations to perform this analysis potentially captures the social return of R&D, as knowledge gained. As a result, an inferential spatiotemporal methodological framework is introduced to quickly identify research trends using public health research. This was applied to a childhood Pb exposure case study. Methods A body of more than 1000 childhood elevated blood lead (Pb) level (EBLL) research articles were used to extract publication years, research locations, and subtopics. These publications were grouped into research locations (i.e., U.S. states where research was conducted; not publication location) and averaged over years published (i.e., 29 years). Binary indicator variables were derived using the subtopics extracted and the periods identified in time trend analyses. Explanatory variables were used to conduct hypothesis testing. Significant variables were used to generalize the population of the annual average EBLL articles written per state. Results The range of the annual average of EBLL research articles by state was 0-1.7 articles, with a mean of 0.3 articles. Thirty-eight explanatory variables suggested a significant effect on research article production. These included temporal, sociodemographic, education, structure age, environmental, and economic variables. The strongest effect on research production for U.S. states came from the number of structures built before 1950. A predictive model was selected to generalize the population of articles using time-periods 1990-95, environmental subtopic, and structures built before 1950. The locations with the most research production for this topic were California and New York. The locations with the least research production for this topic were Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Mississippi, Delaware, and New Hampshire. Conclusion If the trend for R&D is to make fast decisions, more human bias will be introduced into the decision-making process. Analytical tools that enable researchers to identify trends and ask more questions about their field will mitigate these biases. This hypothesis testing and predictive modeling methodology provide researchers and other decision makers with analytical tools they can use to quickly identify research trends and narrow their field of research. Additionally, this analysis potentially captures the impact of discovered ideas, as a social return spillover, for this topic.

Abstract
The frequent detection of persistent per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in organisms and environment coupled with surging evidence for potential detrimental impacts, have attracted widespread attention throughout the world. In order to reveal research hotspots and trends of technologies for PFAS removal, herein, we performed a data-driven analysis of 3975 papers and 436 patents from Web of Science Core Collection and Derwent Innovation Index databases up to 2023. The results showed that China and the USA led the way in the research of PFAS removal with outstanding contributions to publications. The progression generally transitioned from accidental discovery of decomposition, to experimentation with removal effects and mechanisms of existing methods, and finally to enhanced defluorination and mechanism-driven design approaches. The keywords co-occurrence network and technology classification together revealed the main knowledge framework, which was constructed and correlated through contaminants, substrates, materials, processes and properties. Moreover, adsorption was demonstrated to be the dominant removal process among the current studies. Subsequently, we concluded the principles, advances and drawbacks of enrichment and separation, biological methods, advanced oxidation and reduction processes. Further exploration indicated the hotspots such as alternatives and precursors for PFAS ("genx": 1.258, "f-53b": 0.337), degradable mineralization technologies ("photocatalytic degrad": 0.529, "hydrated electron": 0.374), environment-friendly remediation technologies ("phytoremedi": 0.939, "constructed wetland": 0.462) and combination with novel materials ("metal-organic framework": 1.115, "layered double hydroxid": 0.559) as well as computer science ("molecular dynamics simul": 0.559, "machine learn"). Furthermore, the future direction of technological innovation might lie in high-performance processes that minimize secondary pollution, the development of recyclable and renewable treatment agents, and collaborative control strategies for multiple pollutants. Overall, this study offers comprehensive and objective review for researchers and industry professionals in this field, enabling rapid access to knowledge guidance and insights into research frontiers.

Abstract
BACKGROUND CONTEXT The field of spine research is rapidly evolving, with new research topics continually emerging. Analyzing topics and trends in the literature can provide insights into the shifting research landscape. PURPOSE This study aimed to elucidate prevalent and emerging research topics and trends within The Spine Journal using a natural language processing technique called topic modeling. METHODS We utilized BERTopic, a topic modeling technique rooted in natural language processing (NLP), to examine articles from The Spine Journal. Through this approach, we discerned topics from distinct keyword clusters and representative documents that represented the main concepts of each topic. We then used linear regression models on these topic likelihoods to trace trends over time, pinpointing both "hot" (growing in prominence) and "cold" (decreasing in prominence) topics. Additionally, we conducted an in-depth review of the trending topics in the present decade. RESULTS Our analysis led to the categorization of 3358 documents into 30 distinct topics. These topics spanned a wide range of themes, with the most commonly identified topics being "Outcome Measures," "Scoliosis," and "Intradural Lesions." Throughout the history of the journal, the three hottest topics were "Degenerative Cervical Myelopathy," "Osteoporosis," and "Opioid Use." Conversely, the coldest topics were "Intradural Lesions," "Extradural Tumors," and "Vertebral Augmentation." Within the current decade, the hottest topics were "Screw Biomechanics," "Paraspinal Muscles," and "Biologics for Fusion," whereas the cold topics were "Intraoperative Blood Loss," "Construct Biomechanics," and "Material Science." CONCLUSIONS This study accentuates the dynamic nature of spine research and the changing focus within the field. The insights gleaned from our analysis can steer future research directions, inform policy decisions, and spotlight emerging areas of interest. The implementation of NLP to synthesize and analyze vast amounts of academic literature exhibits the potential of advanced analytical techniques in comprehending the research landscape, setting a precedent for similar analyses across other medical disciplines.

Abstract
This study delves into the contemporary landscape of potential financial inclusion in investment decision-making, leveraging bibliometric research methods. Analyzing 161 publications from the Scopus database (2006-2023), the authors employ performance analysis and scientific mapping tools, including VOSviewer and Biblioshiny R studio. Through co-citation analysis, bibliographic coupling, co-occurrence of keywords analysis, thematic mapping, and thematic evolution analysis, the study uncovers the essential characteristics of the research field. The Result underscores that Innovative financial technologies are positioned as enablers of financial inclusion, with fintech's potential to drive positive social impact. The findings underscore that fostering financial literacy, addressing challenges in fintech adoption, and supporting entrepreneurship are crucial for maximizing the benefits of financial technologies. Overall, the study advocates for a comprehensive approach that combines financial inclusion, individual attitudes, and expertise, and fintech innovation to enhance access to financial services and expand investment opportunities for a more inclusive and prosperous economic landscape. However, the study acknowledges limitations, such as reliance on a single database and exclusion of specific keywords, urging a more inclusive approach to ensure a comprehensive understanding of relevant literature in this dynamic field.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Subglottic Stenosis (SGS), with increasing numbers of studies, is the most specific and common clinical type of Laryngotracheal Stenosis (LTS). There is rapid publication turnover with newer management introduced and expanding research field. To our knowledge, there is no bibliometric analysis of SGS yet. METHODS In August 2022, we performed a thorough search in the Web of Science Core Collection database using the word "subglottic stenosis," and "SGS." The 580 articles were arranged based on correlation. The collected articles were then analyzed with an assessment of relevant factors. Meanwhile, we analyzed the top 100 most-cited articles on SGS. RESULTS The frequency of publication on SGS has increased substantially over time. The USA has contributed the most articles (n = 301). Vanderbilt University published most of the articles among other institutions (n = 18). Laryngoscope topped the list of journals and has published 89 SGS-related articles. Research hotspots shift from surgical treatment to conservative management. CONCLUSIONS The SGS-related literature has grown rapidly in recent years. This study represents the first bibliometric analysis of scientific articles on SGS. Areas to improve in SGS research can be identified after this analysis of the most impactful articles on this topic.

Abstract
After severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection, a series of symptoms may persist for a long time, which is now called long COVID. It was found that long COVID can affect all patients with COVID-19. Therefore, long COVID has become a hot topic. In this study, we used the WOS database as a sample data source to conduct a bibliometric and visual analysis of 1765 long COVID articles over the past three years through VOSviewer and R package. The results show that countries/authors in Europe and The United States of America contribute most of the articles, and their cooperation is also the most active. Keyword co-occurrence identified four clusters, with important topics including the mechanism, clinical symptoms, epidemiological characteristics, and management/treatment of long COVID. Themes such as "cognitive impairment", "endothelial dysfunction", "diagnosis", and "biomarkers" are likely to be the focus of new attention in the coming period. In addition, we put forward the possible research opportunities on long COVID for researchers and practitioners to facilitate future research.

Abstract
Background Due to the rapid advancement of technology, artificial intelligence (AI) has become extensively used for the diagnosis and prognosis of various diseases, such as lung cancer. Research in the field of literature has demonstrated that artificial intelligence (AI) can be valuable in the timely detection of lung cancer and the formulation of an effective treatment plan. This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis to examine and illustrate the specific areas of focus, research frontiers, evolutionary processes, and trends in existing research on artificial intelligence in the context of lung cancer. Methods Publications on AI in lung cancer were selected from the SCIE and ESCI indexes on September 19, 2023. The examination of nations, academic publications, organizations, writers, citations, and terms in this domain was visually analyzed with InCites and VOSviewer. Results In this study, a total of 4275 publications were selected and analyzed. Artificial intelligence-related lung cancer publications have increased significantly in the last 5 years. China and the USA have contributed the most to the literature in this field (1418 publications with 13.92 citation impacts and 1117 publications with 37.34 citation impacts, respectively). The institution with the highest contribution was "Chinese Academy of Sciences," with 118 publications and 29.09 citation impacts. Among the research categories, "Radiology, Nuclear Medicine & Imaging", "Oncology", and "Engineering, Biomedical" were in first place. Conclusion The USA and China have always been leaders in this field and will continue to be for some time. Research in countries such as the Netherlands is increasing. However, research collaboration has to be strengthened in developing countries.

Abstract
Materials science research has garnered extensive attention from industry, society, policy, and academia. However, understanding the research landscape and extracting strategic insights are challenging due to the increasing diversity and volume of publications. This study proposes a natural language processing-based protocol for extracting text-encoded topics from a large volume of scientific literature, uncovering research interests of scientific communities, as well as convergence trends. We report a topic map, representing the materials science research landscape with text-mined 257 topics regarding biocompatible materials, structural materials, electrochemistry, or photonics. We analyze the topic map in terms of national research interests in materials science, revealing competitive positions and strategies of active nations. For example, it is found that the increasing trend of research interest in machine learning topic was captured in the United States earlier than other nations. Similarly, our journal-level analyses serve as reference information for journal recommendations and trend guidance, showing that the main topics and research interests of materials science journals slightly changed over time. Moreover, we build the topic association network which can highlight the status and future potential of interdisciplinary research, revealing research fields with high centrality in the network such as machine learning-enabled composite modeling, energy policy, or wearable electronics. This study offers insightful results on current and near-future materials science research landscapes, facilitating the understanding of stakeholders, amidst the fast-evolving and diverse knowledge of materials science.

Abstract
Purpose With an increase in patients' aesthetic demands and advancements in dental technologies, tooth-colored materials have grown in popularity. This study aimed to statistically analyze the scientific output of zirconia.Methods Articles published between 1980 and 2021 were downloaded from the Web of Science database and analyzed using various statistical/bibliometric methods. Correlations were evaluated using the Spearman's coefficient. Time-series forecasting was used to predict the number of articles in the coming years.Results Of the 18773 recordings, 16703 (88.9%) were articles. China contributed the most to the literature (n=3345, 20%). The Chinese Academy of Sciences was the most active institution (n=666). Furthermore, Ceramics International was the journal that published the most articles (N=611). The Journal of Catalysis was the journal with the highest average number of citations per article (average number of citations, 81.4). A high level of significant correlation was found between the number of articles produced by different countries on zirconia and gross domestic product (r=0.742, P<0.001).Conclusions It is expected that zirconia research will continue to increase parallel with the increase in aesthetic expectations. Recent trends include dental implants, resin cement, surface roughness, shear bond strength, monolithic zirconia, osseointegration, flexural strength, aging, geochemistry, zircon U-Pb dating, detrital zircon, adhesion, computer-aided design-computer-aided manufacturing, bond strength, adsorption, titanium, spark plasma sintering, corrosion, SEM, zirconium dioxide, surface modification, XRD, finite-element analysis, and yttria-stabilized zirconia. Clinicians and scientists interested in zirconia can refer to this comprehensive article as a useful resource for the relevant global and multidisciplinary outcomes.

Abstract
Background Acral melanoma (AM), an aggressive subtype of melanoma with poor prognosis, has been increasingly studied. The present study aims to discuss the current status, hotspots and future directions of AM studies through visualized analysis with bibliometrics and knowledge graph. Method Publications related to acral melanoma from January 1999 to May 2023 were searched and retrieved from the Web of Science. Data extraction and visualization of the top 10 publications by year of publication, journal, country and core author were performed using R Studio (Version 4.3.0) and Scimago Graphica (Version 1.0.34). Co-reference graphs regarding country/region, organization, author, and keywords, as well as reference collaborative network, co-occurrence network, and references were plotted using VOSviewer (Version 1.6.19) and CiteSpace (Version 6.2.R3). Results A total of 1387 articles related to AM published in English from 1999 to 2023 were included in the present study. A total of 7499 authors were from 2092 organizations in 50 countries. The articles were published in 356 journals, involving 4131 keywords and 28,200 references. The 1387 articles related to AM had been cited a total of 10,014 times by the time of this study. The result showed that Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology had the largest number of citations and citation rate, with a total of 60 publications having been cited 2191 times. Having the top three productivity institutions in the world, the US is the most productive country in this field, with a total of 361 publications. The authors with the highest number of publications were Guo Jun (n = 43) and Si Lu (n = 38) from Peking University. The keyword burstiness test found that "ipilimumab", "open label", "efficacy" and "nivolumab" appeared most frequently in recent years. The co-cited reference timeline graph showed that the clustering of "advanced melanoma" and "melanocytic lesion" has been a hotspot since 2016. Conclusions The number of AM-related studies has been increasing. The clinical characteristics and immunotherapy of AM are still key research directions, with the US playing a leading role in this field. This bibliometric analysis found up to 1387 publications, which not only comprehensively and quantitatively reflected the research trends and hotspots, but also provided a theoretical basis for future studies of AM. Researchers can benefit from choosing the right journals and finding potential collaborators or partner institutions.

Abstract
Pyrolysis has become an interesting waste valorization method leading to an increasing number of research studies in this field in the last decade. The present study aims to provide a comprehensive knowledge map of scientific production in pyrolysis, discuss the current state of research, and identify the main research hotspots and trends in recent years. The systematic review, supported by analysis of countries and institutions, keyword co-occurrence analysis, analysis of keyword trends, journal analysis, and article impact, was carried out on 6234 journal articles from the Science Citation Index Expanded database of the Web of Science Core Collection. As a result, four main research hotspots were identified: 1) characterization techniques and pyrolysis kinetic models, 2) biochar production and its main applications, 3) bio-oil production and catalytic pyrolysis, and 4) co-pyrolysis, which has become a consolidated research hotspot since 2018. Additionally, the main challenges and opportunities for future research have been identified, such as 1) the development of multi-step kinetic models for studying complex wastes, 2) the integration of biochar into other valorization processes, such as anaerobic digestion, and 3) the development of catalytic hydropyrolysis for the valorization of organic waste. This bibliometric analysis provides a visualization of the current context and future trends in pyrolysis, facilitating future collaborative research and knowledge exchange.

Abstract
We examined literature on Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) subsequent to its genome release, spanning years 1999-2020. We employed scientometric mapping, entity mining, visualization techniques, and PubMed and PubTator databases. Most popular keywords, most active research groups, and growth in quantity of publications were determined. By gathering annotations from the PubTator, we determined direction of research in the areas of drug hypersensitivity, drug resistance (AMR), and drug-related side effects. Additionally, we examined the patterns in research on Mtb metabolism and various forms of tuberculosis, including skin, brain, pulmonary, extrapulmonary, and latent tuberculosis. We discovered that 2011 had the highest annual growth rate of publications, at 19.94%. The USA leads the world in publications with 18,038, followed by China with 14,441, and India with 12,158 publications. Studies on isoniazid and rifampicin resistance showed an enormous increase. Non-tuberculous mycobacteria also been the subject of more research in effort to better understand Mtb physiology and as model organisms. Researchers also looked at co-infections like leprosy, hepatitis, plasmodium, HIV, and other opportunistic infections. Host perspectives like immune response, hypoxia, and reactive oxygen species, as well as comorbidities like arthritis, cancer, diabetes, and kidney disease etc. were also looked at. Symptomatic aspects like fever, coughing, and weight loss were also investigated. Vitamin D has gained popularity as a supplement during illness recovery, however, the interest of researchers declined off late. We delineated dominant researchers, journals, institutions, and leading nations globally, which is crucial for aligning ongoing and evolving landscape of TB research efforts. Recognising the dominant patterns offers important information about the areas of focus for current research, allowing biomedical scientists, clinicians, and organizations to strategically coordinate their efforts with the changing priorities in the field of tuberculosis research.

Abstract
PURPOSE Mental disorders are a public health concern with media as a primary source of information. This study aims to present current research on how the media reports mental disorders. METHODS This study conducted a bibliometric analysis of 130 published studies on media coverage of mental disorders, focusing on the research themes and research trends of the published studies. RESULTS The results show that media coverage of mental disorders was generally negative and influenced by socio-demographic factors (e.g., age, gender, and cultural values). Results also show that social media was becoming crucial for mental health communication. CONCLUSION Media worsen the stigma against those with mental disorders, continuing prejudice and discrimination. The field has shifted from traditional media to social media, and from general to specific mental disorder descriptions.

Abstract
This study aims to present a more systematic and developmental research direction by classifying animal-mediation related research trends published in Korea. We analyzed the research trends of 68 domestic animal-mediation programs published in 26 journals over the past 24 years under the premise of the necessity of animal-assisted therapy, which considered a very effective intervention method in the practice areas of various subjects. Therefore, this study examines the year of publication of animal-mediation related research conducted in various academic fields from 1998 to 2022, research data sources, characteristics of research subjects, types of interventions and research topics, research design and intervention sessions, intervention methods, and ethical consideration statements. The results of this study are as follows: First, in the source of research and research trends by year, the number of papers published in animal-related societies was the highest at 34 (50%); the number of studies has been steadily increasing since the mid-2000s. Second, regarding research trends by subject, 45 (66%) were general subjects, 23 (34%) were medically diagnosed, 60 (88%) were selected through pre-evaluation, and 8 (12%) were requested. Third, regarding research trends by method, 27 (40%) of the pretests were conducted before and after the experiment-control group, and only 3 (4%) of the 68 papers were examined later. Fourth, regarding research trends by content, depression (25%) was the most frequently applied variable, and regarding intervention sessions, 53 (78%) were less than 12 sessions. Fifth, regarding research trends and ethical consideration statements by treatment approach method, 58 cases (85%) of individual treatment approaches and 10 cases (15%) of intervention approaches integrated with individual treatment approaches, and 23 cases (34%) of studies with ethical consideration statements or the Institutional Review Board's (IRB) approval. Based on the study results, the implications and research directions of animal-assisted therapy related research are discussed.

Abstract
Conventional fault detection methods in photovoltaic systems face limitations when dealing with emerging monitoring systems that produce vast amounts of high-dimensional data across various domains. Accordingly, great interest appears within the international scientific community for the application of artificial intelligence methods, which are seen as a highly promising solution for effectively managing large datasets for detecting faults. In this review, more than 620 papers published since 2010 on artificial intelligence methods for detecting faults in photovoltaic systems are analyzed. To extract major research trends, in particular to detect most promising algorithms and approaches overcoming excessive time calculations, a conventional bibliographic survey would have been extremely difficult to complete. That is why this study proposes to carry out a review with an innovative approach based on a statistical method named Bibliometric and a Expert qualitative content analysis. This methodology consists of three stages. First, a collection of data from databases is carried out with all precautions to achieve a large, robust, high-quality database. Second, multiple bibliometric indicators are chosen based on the objectives to be achieved and analyzed to assess their real impact, such as the quantity and nature of publications, collaborative connections among organizations, researchers, and countries or most cited articles. Finally, the Expert qualitative content analysis carried out by experts identifies the current and emerging research topics that have the greatest impact on fault detection in photovoltaic systems using artificial intelligence.

Abstract
Background Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) are often considered the gold standard and the cornerstone for clinical practice. However, bibliometric studies on worldwide RCTs of ophthalmology published in the 21st century have not been reported in detail yet. This study aims to perform a bibliometric study and visualization analysis of worldwide ophthalmologic RCTs in the 21st century. Methods Global ophthalmologic RCTs from 2000 to 2022 were searched in the Web of Science Core Collection. The number of publications, country/region, institution, author, journal, and research hotspots of RCTs were analyzed using HistCite, VOSviewer, CiteSpace, and Excel software. Results 2366 institutions and 90 journals from 83 countries/regions participated in the publication of 1769 global ophthalmologic RCTs, with the United States leading in the number of volumes and research field, and the Moorfields Eye Hospital contributing to the most publications. Ophthalmology received the greatest number of publications and co-citations. Jeffrey S. Heier owned the most publications and Jost B. Jonas owned the most co-citations. The knowledge foundations of global ophthalmologic RCTs were mainly retinopathy, glaucoma, dry eye disease (DED), and cataracts, and anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) therapy (ranibizumab), topical ocular hypotensive medication, laser trabeculoplasty. Anti-VEGF therapy for age-related macular degeneration (AMD), DME (diabetic macular edema), and DED, the use of new diagnostic tools, and myopia were the hottest research highlights. Anti-VEGF therapy, prompt laser, triamcinolone, and verteporfin photodynamic therapy for AMD, DME, and CNV (choroidal neovascularization), DED, myopia, and open-angle glaucoma were the research hotspots with the longest duration. The future research hotspots might be DED and the prevention and control of myopia. Conclusions Overall, the number of global ophthalmologic RCTs in the 21st century was keeping growing, there was an imbalance between the regions and institutions, and more efforts are required to raise the quantity, quality, and global impact of high-quality clinical evidence in developing countries/regions.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To subvert issues of low sample sizes and high attrition rates and generate epidemiologically-sound evidence, collaborative research-through international consortia and multi-centric studies-and meta-analysis approaches are encouraged in spinal cord injury (SCI) research. We investigated the use of systematic reviews and meta-analyses (SRMA) methodology in SCI research and evaluated the quality of evidence across publications we identified. METHODS We searched the Web of Science Core Collection database by topic without time or language restrictions through 16 December 2022. We identified additional relevant articles through Embase.com. SRMA including human and animal SCI populations were eligible for inclusion. We analyzed data using Bibliometrix and VOSviewer. We used the JBI tool (former Joanna Briggs Institute) to assess methodological quality of a subset of 50 randomly selected articles. RESULTS We based our analysis on data from 1'224 documents authored by 5'237 scholars and published in 424 sources between 1985 and 2022. The use of SRMA methodology in the field gained momentum in 2009 and a steady increase followed with an annual growth rate of ≈15%. Our findings indicate major research themes in the field include recovery, SCI management, rehabilitation, and quality of life. Over the past 30 years there has been a shift from SRMA concerning functional recovery, secondary health complications, and quality of life toward biomarkers and neuro-regeneration. The major methodological issues across articles we evaluated included opaquely described search strategies, poorly reported critical appraisals, and insufficiently addressing publication bias. In addition, only one-fifth of articles reported review protocol registration. CONCLUSIONS : Our bibliometric analysis clearly shows a rapid increase of SRMA applications in SCI research. We discuss the most important methodological concerns we identified among a randomly selected set of articles and provide guidance for improving adherence to methodological and reporting SRMA guidelines.

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analysis the evolution of the retail sector during the COVID-19 period and to identify future research issues. Scopus databases were searched for articles published in English between 2020 and 2022 to discover current trends and concerns in the retail industry. A total of 1071 empirical and nonempirical studies were compiled as a result of the evaluation process. During the study period, the number of articles published in scientific journals increased exponentially, indicating that the research topic is still in the developmental phase. It also highlights the most important research trends, allowing numerous new research lines to be proposed via visual mapping of Thematic Maps. This study makes an important contribution to the field of the retail sector, providing a comprehensive overview of the field's evolution and current status, as well as a comprehensive, synthesized, and organized summary of the various perspectives, definitions, and trends in the field.

Abstract
PURPOSE With the significant and growing interest in voice disorders among teachers over the last several decades, there is value in having a comprehensive overview of the current state of the field and its related research productivity. This study aims to provide an updated and comprehensive mapping of the intellectual structure and research evolution in the field of occupational voice complaints among teachers. METHODS A systematic review of scientific articles on occupational voice complaints among teachers published in the last two decades was conducted using the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses statements. A retrospective bibliometric analysis was then performed using the Web of Science core collection and VOSviewer to identify scientific productivity indicators, including publications per year, productivity by country, journals, and most cited articles. RESULTS Based on the search eligibility criteria, a total of 473 articles were initially screened, and from this selection, 157 articles were identified as meeting the inclusion criteria and therefore included in the analysis. The analysis revealed a strong trend in scientific productivity, with a 300% increase in the number of publications during the last decade. The leading countries in publications on this field were Brazil, the United States, and Finland. The Journal of Voice, CoDAS, and Folia Phoniatrica et Logopaedica were the most frequently published journals. Additionally, the literature on voice complaints among teachers primarily focused on five conceptual clusters: vocal demand response, voice disorders, vocal health promotion, individual-associated factors, and voice symptoms. CONCLUSION This study examines the growing literature on voice complaints among teachers over the past 20 years, identifying key countries, journals, and thematic clusters. The findings have important implications for researchers, policymakers, and practitioners, providing insights for collaboration and guiding future advancements in the field.

Abstract
This study analyzed the historical development of resilience with respect to multidisciplinary aspects using association rule mining (ARM). ARM is a rule-based machine-learning approach tailored to identify validated relations among multiple variables in a large dataset. This study collected author keywords from all resilience-related literature in the Web of Science database and examined the changes in validated resilience-related topics using ARM. We found that resilience-related research tends to diversify and expand over time. Although topics and their academic fields related to engineering and complex adaptive systems were prominent in the early 2000s, psychosocial resilience and social-ecological resilience have received significant attention in recent years. The increasing interest in resilience-related topics linked to psychological and ecological factors, as well as social system components, can be attributed to the impact of a series of complex and global events that occurred in the late 2000s. Recently, resilience has been conceived as a way of thinking, perspective, or paradigm to address emergent complexity and uncertainty with vague concepts. Resilience is increasingly being regarded as a boundary spanner that promotes communication and collaboration among stakeholders who share different interests and scientific knowledge.

Abstract
Background Maternal separation (MS) is an early life stress model that is often studied to determine how early life stress affects brain development and psychopathological adaptation. As society has developed, public health problems have become increasingly prominent, and this research area has attracted significant attention. However, to date, there has been no systematic bibliometric study on MS. The aim of this study was to analyze the trends and frontiers in MS using bibliometrics and provide a scientific reference to researchers in the field. Methods Utilizing VOSviewer, CiteSpace, and Microsoft Excel, examined data obtained from the WoSCC, which encompasses the years 2002-2021. Results In this bibliometric study, we analyzed 6209 articles related to MS authored by 24,174 researchers across 121 countries and regions and published in 2219 journals. The United States had the most publications (2,232, 35.95%) and both the United States and the United Kingdom had the highest h-index. Institutions in the United States and France had the most published articles and citations. Keyword clustering analysis revealed associations between MS and adverse early life experiences, the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis, stress, gene expression, and depression. Conclusions This bibliometric analysis highlights the current research focus on the long-term effects of MS on emotional cognition, the HPA axis, epigenetic changes, and their links to gut microbiome imbalances. Future research may expand on these findings to investigate the underlying mechanisms and broader health and societal implications of MS. These results provide a comprehensive overview of the current research landscape in MS and offer valuable insights for researchers to guide future investigations in this field.

Abstract
Background Prevention and treatment of colorectal adenoma (CRA) are great significant to reduce morbidity and mortality of colorectal cancer. Although there have been numerous studies on CRA recently, few publications utilized the bibliometrics to evaluate this field. The objective of current study was to provide a comprehensive analysis of the current state and frontier progress of CRA over the past 20 years. Methods The Web of Science Core Collection was utilized to extracted all studies of CRA during 2002-2022. Bibliometric tools including CiteSpace, VOSviewer, and the Online Analysis Platform of Literature Metrology were used for statistical analysis. CiteSpace and the Online Analysis Platform were used to evaluate the contributions of various countries/regions, institutions, authors, and journals in this field. Research hotspots and trends were identified through keywords and references analysis by VOSviewer and CiteSpace. Results 2,268 publications from 2002 to 2022 in total were identified. The number of global publications in this field has increased annually. The USA was the most productive country, contributing nearly 30% of global publications. But in recent years, China's publications grew rapidly and had the highest citation strength. The most productive institutions was the National Cancer Institute. Baron JA from the USA was the most productive and the one of most co-cited authors. Cancer Epidemiology Biomarkers & Prevention had the highest number of publications and Gastroenterology was the most co-cited journals. Analysis of keywords clusters showed that "mechanism/pathophysiology", "risk factors and prevention", "colonoscopy screening and treatment", "metabolism", and "microbiota" were the major frontier topics and the main research directions. Conclusions CRA publications have shown a gradual upward trend in recent years, most of which have been published by developed countries. Developing countries should further focus on CRA research and transnational cooperation with developed countries in the future, in order to better improve the situation of the increasing morbidity and mortality of CRC. Baron JA was the most outstanding researcher in this field. More attention should be devoted to "pathogenesis of CRA", "less invasive diagnostic methods", "chemoprevention", and "screening and risk prediction of CRA including gut microbiome and metabolism", which will be frontiers in the future.

Abstract
Food loss and waste are severe social, economic, and environmental issues. An example is the incorrect handling of waste or by-products used to obtain bioactive compounds, such as carotenoids. This review aimed to present a comprehensive overview of research on lycopene, phytoene, and phytofluene obtained from waste and by-products. In this study, an integrative literature approach was coupled with bibliometric analysis to provide a broad perspective of the topic. PRISMA guidelines were used to search studies in the Web of Science database systematically. Articles were included if (1) employed waste or by-products to obtain lycopene, phytoene, and phytofluene or (2) performed applications of the carotenoids previously extracted from waste sources. Two hundred and four articles were included in the study, and the prevalent theme was research on the recovery of lycopene from tomato processing. However, the scarcity of studies on colorless carotenoids (phytoene and phytofluene) was evidenced, although these are generally associated with lycopene. Different technologies were used to extract lycopene from plant matrices, with a clear current trend toward choosing environmentally friendly alternatives. Microbial production of carotenoids from various wastes is a highly competitive alternative to conventional processes. The results described here can guide future forays into the subject, especially regarding research on phytoene and phytofluene, potential and untapped sources of carotenoids from waste and by-products, and in choosing more efficient, safe, and environmentally sustainable extraction protocols.

Abstract
BACKGROUND One of the most prominent features of living organisms is their circadian rhythm, which governs a wide range of physiological processes and plays a critical role in maintaining optimal health and function in response to daily environmental changes. This work applied bibliometric analysis to explore quantitative and qualitative trends in circadian rhythm in cardiovascular diseases (CVD). It also aims to identify research hotspots and provide fresh suggestions for future research. METHODS The Web of Science Core Collection was used to search the data on circadian rhythm in CVD. HistCite, CiteSpace, and VOSviewer were used for bibliometric analysis and visualization. The analysis included the overall distribution of yearly outputs, top nations, active institutions and authors, core journals, co-cited references, and keywords. To assess the quality and efficacy of publications, the total global citation score (TGCS) and total local citation score (TLCS) were calculated. RESULTS There were 2102 papers found to be associated with the circadian rhythm in CVD, with the overall number of publications increasing year after year. The United States had the most research citations and was the most prolific country. Hermida RC, Young ME, and Ayala DE were the top three writers. The three most notable journals on the subject were Chronobiology International, Hypertension Research, and Hypertension. In the early years, the major emphasis of circadian rhythm in CVD was hormones. Inflammation, atherosclerosis, and myocardial infarction were the top developing research hotspots. CONCLUSION Circadian rhythm in CVD has recently received a lot of interest from the medical field. These topics, namely inflammation, atherosclerosis, and myocardial infarction, are critical areas of investigation for understanding the role of circadian rhythm in CVD. Although they may not be future research priorities, they remain of significant importance. In addition, how to implement these chronotherapy theories in clinical practice will depend on additional clinical trials to get sufficient trustworthy clinical evidence.

Abstract
Biochar has excellent physical and chemical properties such as porosity, high carbon content, high cation exchange capacity, and rich surface functional groups and has been widely used in environmental remediation. Over the past 20 years, although various reviews have described the application of biochar as an environmentally friendly multifunctional material in environmental remediation, no comprehensive summary and analysis of the research trends in this field exists. To promote the rapid and stable development of the field of biochar, the current state of research on biochar is clarified using the bibliometric method in this report, and potential development directions and challenges for the future are identified. All relevant biochar literature from 2003-2023 was collected from the Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure and Web of Science Core Collection. A total of 6,119 published Chinese papers and 25,174 English papers were selected for the quantitative analysis. CiteSpace, VOSviewer, and Scimago graphics software was used to summarize the numbers of papers published over the years, as well as the countries, institutions, and authors that published the most articles. Secondly, using keyword co-occurrence and emergence analysis, the recognized research hotspots in different areas such as adsorbents, soil remediation, catalytic oxidation, supercapacitors, and "biochar-microbial" synergy were analyzed. Finally, the prospects and challenges of biochar were assessed to provide new perspectives for further promoting its development in technological, economic, environmental, and other aspects.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Recently, artificial intelligence (AI) has been widely used in gastrointestinal endoscopy examinations.
AIM To comprehensively evaluate the application of AI-assisted endoscopy in detecting different digestive diseases using bibliometric analysis.
METHODS Relevant publications from the Web of Science published from 1990 to 2022 were extracted using a combination of the search terms “AI” and “endoscopy”. The following information was recorded from the included publications: Title, author, institution, country, endoscopy type, disease type, performance of AI, publication, citation, journal and H-index.
RESULTS A total of 446 studies were included. The number of articles reached its peak in 2021, and the annual citation numbers increased after 2006. China, the United States and Japan were dominant countries in this field, accounting for 28.7%, 16.8%, and 15.7% of publications, respectively. The Tada Tomohiro Institute of Gastroenterology and Proctology was the most influential institution. “Cancer” and “polyps” were the hotspots in this field. Colorectal polyps were the most concerning and researched disease, followed by gastric cancer and gastrointestinal bleeding. Conventional endoscopy was the most common type of examination. The accuracy of AI in detecting Barrett’s esophagus, colorectal polyps and gastric cancer from 2018 to 2022 is 87.6%, 93.7% and 88.3%, respectively. The detection rates of adenoma and gastrointestinal bleeding from 2018 to 2022 are 31.3% and 96.2%, respectively.
CONCLUSION AI could improve the detection rate of digestive tract diseases and a convolutional neural network-based diagnosis program for endoscopic images shows promising results.

Abstract
PURPOSE This study aims to analyze the structure of publications on transformational leadership in nursing and determine its evolution process through a bibliometric analysis. DESIGN/METHODOLOGY/APPROACH It is a descriptive bibliometric study. Data were collected on October 24, 2022, from the Web of Science and analyzed using Excel, VOSviewer, HistCite and Bibliometrix R programs. FINDINGS A total of 348 studies conducted by 962 authors and published between 1990 and 2021 were included. It was found that 84.5% of these publications were original articles and 97.7% were published in English. The studies are from 82 different journals and were carried out by researchers from 43 countries. The most productive country was the USA (n = 151). RESEARCH LIMITATIONS/IMPLICATIONS Only one database was used to search for studies. The searches were limited to the nursing category, and only studies published up to 2021 were included. Another important point is that, although there were no language limitations for the field literature search, English keywords were used; thus, the search can be considered semi-limited. It is believed that more comprehensive search strategies may generate different findings. ORIGINALITY/VALUE Two main themes were identified as the studies carried out in the field of transformational leadership in nursing, generally, directly or indirectly addressed the effects of this style of leadership either on nurses' performance/job satisfaction or on quality care/patient safety; however, a gap was observed in the literature in the area of nursing education. Researchers can be inspired by the results of the present study, by learning about the focus of published research on transformational leadership, which will encourage them to plan new studies to improve nursing education, nursing care, nursing management and working conditions of nurses. Through the results of this study, it is also possible to learn about countries and researchers for possible collaborations in future studies.

Abstract
Critical thinking has received significant scholarly attention in education over the years. This study conducted a bibliometric analysis of critical thinking during the last two decades (2000-2021) to identify research trends and hotspots of critical thinking. After data processing, 2043 publications related to critical thinking were retrieved from the Web of Science (WOS). Our analysis covers the number of publications per year, most used keywords, most productive countries/regions, institutions and authors, and most cited publications. The results show that critical thinking received increasing interest throughout this period; the research topics of critical thinking were rich and constantly evolving; the publications in western countries/regions have a stronger impact and higher recognition than do those in non-western countries; and critical thinking instruction has become the most popular research topic. This study holds important implications and should serve as a reference for future research.

Abstract
In 2020, the CoViD-19 pandemic spread worldwide in an unexpected way and suddenly modified many life issues, including social habits, social relationships, teaching modalities, and more. Such changes were also observable in many different healthcare and medical contexts. Moreover, the CoViD-19 pandemic acted as a stress test for many research endeavors, and revealed some limitations, especially in contexts where research results had an immediate impact on the social and healthcare habits of millions of people. As a result, the research community is called to perform a deep analysis of the steps already taken, and to re-think steps for the near and far future to capitalize on the lessons learned due to the pandemic. In this direction, on June 09th-11th, 2022, a group of twelve healthcare informatics researchers met in Rochester, MN, USA. This meeting was initiated by the Institute for Healthcare Informatics-IHI, and hosted by the Mayo Clinic. The goal of the meeting was to discuss and propose a research agenda for biomedical and health informatics for the next decade, in light of the changes and the lessons learned from the CoViD-19 pandemic. This article reports the main topics discussed and the conclusions reached. The intended readers of this paper, besides the biomedical and health informatics research community, are all those stakeholders in academia, industry, and government, who could benefit from the new research findings in biomedical and health informatics research. Indeed, research directions and social and policy implications are the main focus of the research agenda we propose, according to three levels: the care of individuals, the healthcare system view, and the population view.

Abstract
STUDY OBJECTIVE There is scant research identifying thematic trends within medical research. This work may provide insight into how a given field values certain topics. We assessed the feasibility of using a machine learning approach to determine the most common research themes published in Gynecologic Oncology over a thirty-year period and to subsequently evaluate how interest in these topics changed over time. METHODS We retrieved the abstracts of all original research published in Gynecologic Oncology from 1990 to 2020 using PubMed. Abstract text was processed through a natural language processing algorithm and clustered into topical themes using latent Dirichlet allocation (LDA) prior to manual labeling. Topics were investigated for temporal trends. RESULTS We retrieved 12,586 original research articles, of which 11,217 were evaluable for subsequent analysis. Twenty-three research topics were selected at the completion of topic modeling. The topics of basic science genetics, epidemiologic methods, and chemotherapy experienced the greatest increase over the time period, while postoperative outcomes, reproductive age cancer management, and cervical dysplasia experienced the greatest decline. Interest in basic science research remained relatively constant. Topics were additionally reviewed for words indicative of either surgical or medical therapy. Both surgical and medical topics saw increasing interest, with surgical topics experiencing a greater increase and representing a higher proportion of published topics. CONCLUSIONS Topic modeling, a type of unsupervised machine learning, was successfully used to identify trends in research themes. The application of this technique provided insight into how the field of gynecologic oncology values the components of its scope of practice and therefore how it may choose to allocate grant funding, disseminate research, and participate in the public discourse.

Abstract
This study adopted descriptive and explorative methods to analyze 2162 published documents, in general, and 1903 articles, in particular, in System from 1973 to 2020 based on the Scopus database. Data preprocessing and analysis were performed using data mining, text mining, and bibliometric techniques through Excel, VOSviewer, and RapidMiner software. To analyze the article titles and identify their themes, N-Grams was considered among the text mining techniques. From the data mining techniques, clustering was applied to explore the clusters of languages, educational technologies, technological spaces for foreign languages, etc. Bibliometric techniques such as co-authorship networks and citation analysis were in turn used to analyze the tops and trends of research in System. The results are classified into 5 categories including: (1) journal status; (2) publication trend; (3) articles with and without abstract/keyword; (4) highly-cited and uncited articles; (5) core and poor topics and keywords. The core topics are English as a Foreign Language, motivation, and second language acquisition. Among the languages, English, Chinese, and Japanese are at the top, and Italian, Danish, Persian, and Taiwanese are less discussed. Based on the findings, System has moved in line with its goals and scope, which are the applications of educational technology and applied linguistics to solve the problems of foreign language teaching and learning.

Abstract
Thermostable enzymes are enzymes that can withstand elevated temperatures as high as 50 °C without altering their structure or distinctive features. The potential of thermostable enzymes to increase the conversion rate at high temperature has been identified as a key factor in enhancing the efficiency of industrial operations. Performing procedures at higher temperatures with thermostable enzymes minimises the risk of microbial contamination, which is one of the most significant benefits. In addition, it helps reduce substrate viscosity, improve transfer speeds, and increase solubility during reaction operations. Thermostable enzymes offer enormous industrial potential as biocatalysts, especially cellulase and xylanase, which have garnered considerable amount of interest for biodegradation and biofuel applications. As the usage of enzymes becomes more common, a range of performance-enhancing applications are being explored. This article offers a bibliometric evaluation of thermostable enzymes. Scopus databases were searched for scientific articles. The findings indicated that thermostable enzymes are widely employed in biodegradation as well as in biofuel and biomass production. Japan, the United States, China, and India, as along with the institutions affiliated with these nations, stand out as the academically most productive in the field of thermostable enzymes. This study's analysis exposed a vast number of published papers that demonstrate the industrial potential of thermostable enzymes. These results highlight the significance of thermostable enzyme research for a variety of applications.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Immunosenescence, the aging of the immune system, leads to a decline in the body's adaptability to the environment and plays an important role in various diseases. Immunosenescence has been widely studied in recent years. However, to date, no relevant bibliometric analyses have been conducted. This study aimed to analyze the foundation and frontiers of immunosenescence research through bibliometric analysis. METHODS Articles and reviews on immunosenescence from 1970 to 2021 were obtained from the Web of Science Core Collection. Countries, institutions, authors, journals, references, and keywords were analyzed and visualized using VOSviewer and CiteSpace. The R language and Microsoft Excel 365 were used for statistical analyses. RESULTS In total, 3763 publications were included in the study. The global literature on immunosenescence research has increased from 1970 to 2021. The United States was the most productive country with 1409 papers and the highest H-index. Italy had the highest average number of citations per article (58.50). Among the top 10 institutions, 50 % were in the United States. The University of California was the most productive institution, with 159 articles. Kroemer G, Franceschi C, Goronzy JJ, Solana R, and Fulop T were among the top 10 most productive and co-cited authors. Experimental Gerontology (n = 170) published the most papers on immunosenescence. The analysis of keywords found that current research focuses on "inflammaging", "gut microbiota", "cellular senescence", and "COVID-19". CONCLUSIONS Immunosenescence research has increased over the years, and future cooperation and interaction between countries and institutions must be expanded. The connection between inflammaging, gut microbiota, age-related diseases, and immunosenescence is a current research priority. Individualized treatment of immunosenescence, reducing its negative effects, and promoting healthy longevity will become an emerging research direction.

Abstract
This study performed a scoping review of the literature concerning the use of technology in mathematics education published between January 1981 and March 2022 to explore research trends. After the defined filtering process, we retrieved 2,433 articles from Web of Science, ERIC, and PsycInfo databases and employed Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) topic modeling to extract key terms and topics from the selected articles. The analysis focused on the four aspects: (a) evolution of research trends of technology use in mathematics education, (b) frequently used words, (c) latent research topics, and (d) research trends for particular topics. The findings revealed a steady increase in research interest, and the combination of frequently used words in the article abstracts suggests popular research topics that have been studied during the set period. The results of LDA identified seven research topics that were not precisely aligned with those identified in prior studies on mathematics education or educational technology. This implied technology integration into mathematics education as a distinctive research area. Over time, the seven topics showed different research trends (stable, fluctuating, increasing, and decreasing). We discussed plausible reasons for these varied patterns and proposed implications based on the research findings.

Abstract
European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry (EJMC) has been around for a long time and has gained broad interest from the various individuals working in the field. However, there is no bibliometric analysis on the publications of EJMC to thoroughly assess the scientific output and current status systematically. Therefore, the study was conducted to analyze the various publications of EJMC from 1987 to 2022 to improve their quality. A total of 13,386 papers were retrieved, with the number of publications increasing yearly. Based on the multiple indicators of bibliometrics, the highest impact countries, institutions, authors and representative literature were identified, and visualization networks were constructed using VOSviewer. Keyword co-occurrence analysis reveals a gradual shift from phenotypic drug discovery to target-based drug discovery in the EJMC theme change. Moreover, further discussion of the keyword clustering results is provided to support researchers in defining the scope of their research topics and planning their research directions. At this stage, there is a greater focus on developing antitumor and oxidative stress-related drugs than on the earlier anti-infective activities. In future studies, the main research directions are tumor multidrug resistance, oxidative stress, and dual inhibitors.

Abstract
Rivers are a vital part of the earth's environment and the basis for human survival. River health has been widely concerned by scholars and practitioners, and the number of studies in this area is increasing. In order to examine the evolution of river health research and identify the research frontiers, a total of 675 articles were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection database, and CiteSpace was used for bibliometrics. The results revealed that the research on river health is multidisciplinary. Freshwater Biology and Ecological Indicators were two of the most influential journals. Researchers and institutions from America, Australia, and China were the core research forces, and a certain gap was observed between developed and developing countries in river health. The most productive institution was Michigan State University, followed by Griffith University and Hohai University. There are three development trends in river health: (1) Research scale is expanding; (2) Research methods are diversified and interdisciplinary; and (3) Evaluation index is more comprehensive and systematic. The frontier of river health had been expanded from the connotation of river health to the evaluation methods, evaluation indexes, and comprehensive river ecological research. Overall, research on river health is a well-developed and promising research field. This study provides a framework in the river health field for new researchers and helps scholars to identify further potential perspectives on collaborators, research frontiers, hotspots, and research trends.

Abstract
Heart failure (HF) with depression is a common comorbidity associated with worse clinical status and quality of life. Although there have been numerous high-quality studies and relevant reviews on HF comorbid with depression, few bibliometric analyses of this field have been reported. In order to understand the development process, research hotspots and future directions, this review analyzes the papers on HF comorbid with depression from January 2002 to December 2021 through CiteSpace and VOSviewer. Visual cooperative networks between countries, authors and institutions were conducted to understand the basic development status of HF comorbid with depression. Furthermore, we performed co-occurrence analysis, burst detection, and timeline analysis for keywords to understand this field's research directions and hotspots. Finally, a detailed review and analysis of the classical literature in this field were conducted based on co-citation analysis. This bibliometric analysis provides an overview of studies on HF comorbid with depression and emphasizes the research on comorbidity mechanisms and more effective interventions as a priority for future research.

Abstract
PURPOSE Breast cancer is the most common malignant tumor in women. Radiotherapy (RT) is an important adjunctive therapy for breast cancer, but the current international research trend of RT in breast cancer treatment and management is unclear. This bibliometric analysis was conducted to investigate the current trends and hot topics in this area. MATERIALS AND METHODS The Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC; Clarivate) database was searched, VOSviewer 1.6.18 and CiteSpace 6.1.R2 software were employed for the quantitative and qualitative analysis. RESULTS 12,268 publications were included in this bibliometric analysis. There was an increasing trend of publications and international collaborations in the topic. The United States and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center were the most productive countries and institutions, respectively. The analysis of journals showed researches focused on both basic and clinical medicine on breast cancer RT. Park Won published the most papers and Fisher B had the most co-citations. The most co-cited paper was published in the Lancet. Survival, risk, chemotherapy, mastectomy, and surgery were regarded as current research hotspots through the analysis of keywords. CONCLUSION Through quantitative and qualitative bibliometric analyses, this study provides insights into the research trends and potential research hotspots on breast cancer RT.

Abstract
Although increased attempts to preserve biodiversity ecosystems have been widely publicized, bibliometric research of biodiversity loss remains limited. Using VOSviewer, we hope to provide a bibliometric assessment of global research trends on biodiversity loss from 1990 to 2021. Document type, language, publication trend, countries, institutions, Author Keywords, and Keywords Plus were all examined. This study recorded a total of 6599 publications from the Web of Science Core Collection database. According to the findings, biodiversity loss research is expected to rise dramatically in the near future. However, the role of social sciences and economics in biodiversity loss studies has received little attention. The USA made the most significant contribution in this field. Biological Conservation was the most productive journal, and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America was the most influential journal in biodiversity loss literature. Eisenhauer, N was the most prolific author, and Collen, B was the most referenced. Biodiversity, biodiversity loss mechanisms, biodiversity loss drivers, conservation, and climate change have been the topic of previous research. Possible future research hotspots may include species diversity and many elements of biodiversity. Lastly, the outcomes of this study suggest that existing socio-economic concerns can be integrated into decision-making processes to improve biodiversity conservation.

Abstract
Understanding the relationship between biodiversity conservation and ecosystem services concepts is essential for evidence-based policy development. We used text mining augmented by topic modelling to analyse abstracts of 15 310 peer-reviewed papers (from 2000 to 2020). We identified nine major topics; "Research & Policy", "Urban and Spatial Planning", "Economics & Conservation", "Diversity & Plants", "Species & Climate change", "Agriculture", "Conservation and Distribution", "Carbon & Soil & Forestry", "Hydro-& Microbiology". The topic "Research & Policy" performed highly, considering number of publications and citation rate, while in the case of other topics, the "best" performances varied, depending on the indicator applied. Topics with human, policy or economic dimensions had higher performances than the ones with 'pure' biodiversity and science. Agriculture dominated over forestry and fishery sectors, while some elements of biodiversity and ecosystem services were under-represented. Text mining is a powerful tool to identify relations between research supply and policy demand.

Abstract
RNA editing is a post-transcriptional process that introduces changes in RNA sequences encoded by nuclear, mitochondrial, or plastid genomes. To understand the research progress of plant RNA editing, we comprehensively analyze the articles on plant RNA editing from 2001 to 2022 through bibliometric methods. Nucleic Acids Research, Plant Journal and Plant cell are the journals that deserve attention with their high production, total local citation scores (TLCS), and h-indexes. The USA, China, and Germany are the top three countries with highly productive publications. Ulm University, Cornell University, and Chinese Acad Sci are excellent cooperative institutions with a high level of influence in the field, and KNOOP V and TAKENAKA M are good partnership. Plant RNA editing researches concentrate on the subject categories of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Plant Sciences, Genetics & Heredity, etc. Plant mitochondria, genome editing and messenger-RNA may be the research hotspots in the future. The main plant RNA editing research tools are JACUSA, SPRINT, and REDO, and the main databases are REDIdb, PED, and dbRES. At present, the research streams are (1) RNA editing sites; (2) Pentapeptide repeat protein (PPR) involved in RNA editing; (3) RNA editing factors. Overall, this article summarizes the research overview of plant RNA editing until 2022 and provides theoretical implications for its possible future directions.

Abstract
To assess the status of hotspots and research trends on geographic information system (GIS)-based landslide susceptibility (LS), we analysed 1142 articles from the Thomas Reuters Web of Science Core Collection database published during 2001-2020 by combining bibliometric and content analysis. The paper number, authors, institutions, corporations, publication sources, citations, and keywords are noted as sub/categories for the bibliometric analysis. Thematic LS data, including the study site, landslide inventory, conditioning factors, mapping unit, susceptibility models, and mode fit/prediction performance evaluation, are presented in the content analysis. Then, we reveal the advantages and limitations of the common approaches used in thematic LS data and summarise the development trends. The results indicate that the distribution of articles shows clear clusters of authors, institutions, and countries with high academic activity. The application of remote sensing technology for interpreting landslides provides a more convenient and efficient landslide inventory. In the landslide inventory, most of the sample strategies representing the landslides are point and polygon, and the most frequently used sample subdividing strategy is random sampling. The scale effects, lack of geographic consistency, and no standard are key problems in landslide conditioning factors. Feature selection is used to choose the factors that can improve the model's accuracy. With advances in computing technology and artificial intelligence, LS models are changing from simple qualitative and statistical models to complex machine learning and hybrid models. Finally, five future research opportunities are revealed. This study will help investigators clarify the status of LS research and provide guidance for future research.

Abstract
Purpose This study aimed to investigate the current state of research on tooth extraction socket preservation. The main aim of this study was to consolidate the research published on extraction socket preservation from 1968 to 2020 in Scopus indexed journals. Methodology The bibliometric method, a quantitative analysis investigating publishing trends and patterns, was used. Scopus database was used to retrieve the bibliographic records of published scholarly output. The analysis was performed using software and visualization tools like MS Excel, VOSviewer, Cite Space, Biblioshiny (RStudio), and BibExcel. Results The result showed a gradual increase in research, whereby a substantial increase was observed from 2005 to 2006. Six hundred nineteen articles were published in 173 journals with total citations of 12091. Most published articles were from the USA, Italy, Germany, and China. The authorship pattern showed an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach among researchers. Conclusion This bibliometric analysis can guide researchers, funding agencies, industry, and institutions.

Abstract
This study presents topic modeling based bibliometric characteristics of the articles related to the flipped classroom. The corpus of the study consists of 2959 articles published in the Scopus database as of the end of 2021. In addition to the bibliometric characteristics of the field, research interests and trends were also revealed with the study, which was based on the topic modeling-based bibliometric analysis method. According to the results of the study, an increase in the number of publications has been observed since 2015. Nearly one-third of the studies are of United States origin. According to the findings of the topic analysis in which the research interests and trends in the studies were revealed, the articles in this field were gathered under 16 topics. Considering the number of publications of the topic, it was seen that the three most voluminous topics were "Performance and perception", "Nursing education" and "Effectiveness and motivation", respectively. It is thought that the results of the study will provide a general perspective to the researchers in this field and provide important outputs in the context of monitoring the issues that may become prominent in the future.
