Abstract
BACKGROUND Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a highly heterogeneous mental condition with a diverse symptom. Existing studies classified OCD on the basis of conventional phenomenology-based taxonomy ignoring the fact that the same subtype identified in accordance with clinical symptom may have different mechanisms and treatment responses. METHODS This research involved 50 medicine-free patients with OCD and 50 matched healthy controls (HCs). All the participants were subjected to structural and functional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Voxel-based morphometry (VBM) and amplitude of low frequency fluctuation (ALFF) were used to evaluate gray matter volume (GMV) and spontaneous neuronal activities at rest respectively. Similarity network fusion (SNF) was utilized to integrate GMVs and spontaneous neuronal activities, and heterogeneity by discriminant analysis was applied to characterise OCD subtypes. RESULTS Two OCD subtypes were identified: Subtype 1 exhibited decreased GMVs (i.e., left inferior temporal gyrus, right supplementary motor area and right lingual gyrus) and increased ALFF value (i.e., right orbitofrontal cortex), whereas subtype 2 exhibited increased GMVs (i.e., left cuneus, right precentral gyrus, left postcentral gyrus and left hippocampus) and decreased ALFF value (i.e., right caudate nucleus). Furthermore, the altered GMVs was negatively correlated with abnormal ALFF values in both subtype 1 and 2. LIMITATIONS This study requires further validation via a larger, independent dataset and should consider the potential influences of psychotropic medication on OCD patients' brain activities. CONCLUSIONS Results revealed two reproducible subtypes of OCD based on underlying multimodal neuroimaging and provided new perspectives on the classification of OCD.

Abstract
Bifenthrin (BF) is a broad-spectrum insecticide that has gained widespread use due to its high effectiveness. However, there is limited research on the potential toxic effects of bifenthrin pollution on amphibians. This study aimed to investigate the 50 % lethal concentration (LC50) and safety concentration of Chinese giant salamanders (CGS) exposed to BF (at 0, 6.25,12.5,25 and 50 μg/L BF) for 96 h. Subsequently, CGS were exposed to BF (at 0, 0.04, and 4 μg/L BF) for one week to investigate its toxic effects. Clinical poisoning symptoms, liver pathology, oxidative stress factors, DNA damage, and transcriptome differences were observed and analyzed. The results indicate that exposure to BF at 4 μg/L significantly decreased the adenosine-triphosphate (ATP), superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione (GSH), and catalase (CAT) contents in the brain, liver, and kidney of CGS. Additionally, the study found that the malondialdehyde (MDA), reactive oxygen species (ROS), and 8-hydroxydeoxyguanosine (8-OHdG) contents were increased. The liver tissue exhibited significant inflammatory reactions and structural malformations. RNA-seq analysis of the liver showed that BF caused abnormal antioxidant indices of CGS. This affected molecular function genes such as catalytic activity, ATP-dependent activity, metabolic processes, signaling and immune system processes, behavior, and detoxification, which were significantly upregulated, resulting in the differential genes significantly enriched in the calcium signaling pathway, PPARα signaling pathway and NF-kB signaling pathway. The results suggest that BF induces the abnormal production of free radicals, which overwhelms the body's self-defense system, leading to varying degrees of oxidative stress. This can result in oxidative damage, DNA damage, abnormal lipid metabolism, autoimmune diseases, clinical poisoning symptoms, and tissue inflammation. This work provides a theoretical basis for the rational application of bifenthrin and environmental risk assessment, as well as scientific guidance for the conservation of amphibian populations.

Abstract
Asprosin, an adipokine, was recently discovered in 2016. Here, the correlation between asprosin and metabolic-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD) was examined by quantitatively assessing hepatic steatosis using transient elastography and controlled attenuation parameter (CAP). According to body mass index (BMI), 1276 adult participants were enrolled and categorized into three groups: normal, overweight, and obese. The study collected and evaluated serum asprosin levels, general biochemical indices, liver stiffness measure, and CAP via statistical analysis. In both overweight and obese groups, serum asprosin and CAP were greater than in the normal group (p < 0.01). Each group showed a positive correlation of CAP with asprosin (p < 0.01). The normal group demonstrated a significant and independent positive relationship of CAP with BMI, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), asprosin, waist circumference (WC), and triglycerides (TG; p < 0.05). CAP showed an independent positive association (p < 0.05) with BMI, WC, asprosin, fasting blood glucose (FBG), and TG in the overweight group, and with high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) showed an independent negative link (p < 0.01). CAP showed an independent positive relationship (p < 0.05) with BMI, WC, asprosin, TG, LDL-C, FBG, glycated hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c), and alanine transferase in the obese group. CAP also showed an independent positive link (p < 0.01) with BMI, WC, asprosin, TG, LDL-C, and FBG in all participants while independently and negatively correlated (p < 0.01) with HDL-C. Since asprosin and MAFLD are closely related and asprosin is an independent CAP effector, it may offer a novel treatment option for metabolic diseases and MAFLD.

Abstract
Background Previous observational studies have demonstrated a link between diabetes mellitus(DM) and primary biliary cholangitis (PBC). Nevertheless, since these relationships might be confused, whether there is any causal connection or in which direction it exists is unclear. Our investigation aimed to identify the causal associations between DM and PBC. Methods We acquired genome-wide association study (GWAS) datasets for PBC, Type 1 diabetes(T1DM), and Type 2 diabetes(T2DM) from published GWASs. Inverse variance-weighted (IVW), MR-Egger, weighted median (WM), Simple mode, and weighted mode methods were used to determine the causal relationships between DM(T1DM or T2DM) and PBC. Sensitivity analyses were also carried out to ensure the results were robust. To determine the causal relationship between PBC and DM(T1DM or T2DM), we also used reverse MR analysis. Results T1DM was associated with a higher risk of PBC (OR 1.1525; 95% CI 1.0612-1.2517; p = 0.0007) in the IVW method, but no evidence of a causal effect T2DM on PBC was found (OR 0.9905; 95% CI 0.8446-1.1616; p = 0.9071) in IVW. Results of the reverse MR analysis suggested genetic susceptibility that PBC was associated with an increased risk of T1DM (IVW: OR 1.1991; 95% CI 1.12-1.2838; p = 1.81E-07), but no evidence of a causal effect PBC on T2DM was found (IVW: OR 1.0101; 95% CI 0.9892-1.0315; p = 0.3420). Conclusion The current study indicated that T1DM increased the risk of developing PBC and vice versa. There was no proof of a causal connection between PBC probability and T2DM. Our results require confirmation through additional replication in larger populations.

Abstract
Imidazole propionate (ImP) is a detrimental metabolite produced by the fermentation of histidine intermediates via the intestinal flora. Here, the untargeted metabolite analysis of plasma metabolites from patients with diabetic nephropathy (DN), in combination with the Human Metabolome Database, revealed significantly increased levels of ImP in patients with DN, with a positive correlation with patients' blood creatinine concentration and urinary albumin-to-creatinine ratio, and a negative correlation with the glomerular filtration rate. RNA-seq was applied to detect the effects of ImP on renal tissue transcriptome in mice with DN. It demonstrated that ImP exacerbated renal injury in mice with DN and promoted renal tubular epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), leading to renal mesenchymal fibrosis and renal impairment. Furthermore, ImP was found to directly target HAP90α and activate the PI3K-Akt signalling pathway, which is involved in EMT, by the drug affinity response target stability method. The findings showed that ImP may provide a novel target for DN quality, as it can directly bind to and activate HSP90, thereby facilitating the development of DN while acting as a potential indicator for the clinical diagnosis of DN.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES Nausea and vomiting in pregnancy (NVP) is a common condition that reduces the quality of life by negatively affecting work and family life, physical and mental health, and economic well-being. However, its risk factors remain unclear. This study aimed to explore the association between NVP and verbal rating scale (VRS)-measured dysmenorrhea and to explore potential protective factors. METHODS This retrospective cohort study was conducted from June 2018 to December 2020 at Tongji Hospital in Wuhan. Information on baseline characteristics, pregnancy-related history, periconceptional micronutrient supplementation, and obstetric outcomes were collected. The severity of dysmenorrhea was assessed using VRS. RESULTS A total of 443 pregnant women were recruited and divided into the NVP group (n = 76) and the control group (n = 367). A significant association was observed between NVP and VRS-measured dysmenorrhea (c2=10.038, P = 0.007). After adjusting for covariates, the association between moderate/severe dysmenorrhea and NVP remained significant (OR 2.384; 95% CI 1.104-5.148, P = 0.004). First-trimester docosahexaenoic acid supplement (OR 0.443; 95% CI 0.205-0.960, P = 0.039) may be beneficial in reducing the risk of NVP. CONCLUSIONS Women with moderate to severe dysmenorrhea have a higher risk of experiencing NVP during the first trimester. Periconceptional docosahexaenoic acid supplementation may play a protective role.

Abstract
Two selenized chitooligosaccharide (O-Se-COS and N,O-Se-COS) with different sites modification were synthesized to alleviate liver injury in vivo. Comparing to traditional COS, both selenized COS exhibited enhanced reducibility as well as antioxidant capacity in vitro. Furthermore, O-Se-COS demonstrated superior efficacy in reducing intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) and mitochondrial damage compared to N,O-Se-COS as its enhanced cellular uptake by the positive/negative charge interactions. Two mechanisms were proposed to explained these results: one is to enhance the enzymatic activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px), which effectively scavenge free radicals; the other is to down-regulate intracellular cytochrome P450 (CYP2E1) levels, inhibiting carbon tetrachloride (CCl4)-induced peroxidation damage. In vivo studies further demonstrated the effective alleviation of CCl4-induced liver injury by selenized COS, with therapeutic efficacy observed in the following order: O-Se-COS > N,O-Se-COS > COS. Finally, hemolysis and histological tests confirmed the biosafety of both selenized COS. Taken together, these finding demonstrated that selenium has the potential to improve the biological activity of COS, and precise selenylation was more conducive to achieving the synergistic effect where 1 + 1>2.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Mesangial cells (MCs) in the kidney play central role in maintaining glomerular integrity, and their abnormal proliferation leads to major glomerular diseases including diabetic kidney disease (DKD). Although high blood glucose elicits MCs impairment, the underlying molecular mechanism is poorly understood. The present study aimed to investigate the effect of secreted frizzled-related protein 2 (Sfrp2) from single-nucleus RNA profiling on MC proliferation of DKD in vitro and in vivo and explored the specific mechanisms. RESULTS By snRNA-seq analysis of isolated renal cells from leptin receptor-deficient db/db mice and control db/m mice, we found that Sfrp2 was increased in the MCs of DKD in comparison to other intrinsic renal cells, which was further verified in vitro and in vivo. We also found that the expression of Sfrp2 was significantly upregulated in DKD patients and correlated with renal function, demonstrating that Sfrp2 might serve as an independent biomarker for DKD patients. Functionally, we showed the loss and acquisition of Sfrp2 affected cytosolic Ca2+ concentration, cell proliferation and fibrosis of MC, albuminuria and kidney injury in vitro and in vivo. Mechanistically, we identify c-Jun as a transcription factor of Sfrp2 promoting its transcription, and the Ca2+ signaling related protein frizzled receptor 5 (Fzd5) as the binding protein of Sfrp2. And we further found Sfrp2 promoted Fzd5-induced cytosolic Ca2+ concentration and the downstream CaMKII/Mek/Erk pathway activation, leading to MC proliferation and fibrosis in DKD. CONCLUSION Our study revealed a novel involvement for Sfrp2 in the regulation of MC function and the effect of Sfrp2 on cell proliferation and fibrosis of MC via the Fzd5/Ca2+/CaMKII/Mek/Erk pathway, implying that Sfrp2 may be a possible biomarker and therapeutic target for DKD.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is a devastating chronic lung disease characterized by irreversible scarring of the lung parenchyma. Despite various interventions aimed at mitigating several different molecular aspects of the disease, only two drugs with limited clinical efficacy have so far been approved for IPF therapy. OBJECTIVE We investigated the therapeutic efficacy of amifostine, a detoxifying drug clinically used for radiation-caused cytotoxicity, in bleomycin-induced murine pulmonary fibrosis. METHODS C57BL6/J mice were intratracheally instilled with 3 U/kg of bleomycin. Three doses of amifostine (WR-2721, 200 mg/kg) were administered intraperitoneally on days 1, 3, and 5 after the bleomycin challenge. Bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) was collected on day 7 and day 21 for the assessment of lung inflammation, metabolites, and fibrotic injury. Human fibroblasts were treated in vitro with transforming growth factor beta 1 (TGF-β1), followed by amifostine (WR-1065, 1-4 µg/mL) treatment. The effects of TGF-β1 and amifostine on the mitochondrial production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) were assessed by live cell imaging of MitoSOX. Cellular metabolism was assessed by the extracellular acidification rate (ECAR), the oxygen consumption rate (OCR), and the concentrations of various energy-related metabolites as measured by mass spectrum (MS). Western blot analysis was performed to investigate the effect of amifostine on sirtuin 1 (SIRT1) and adenosine monophosphate activated kinase (AMPK). RESULTS Three doses of amifostine significantly attenuated lung inflammation and pulmonary fibrosis. Pretreatment and post-treatment of human fibroblast cells with amifostine blocked TGF-β1-induced mitochondrial ROS production and mitochondrial dysfunction in human fibroblast cells. Further, treatment of fibroblasts with TGF-β1 shifted energy metabolism away from mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS) and towards glycolysis, as observed by an altered metabolite profile including a decreased ratio of NAD + /NADH and increased lactate concentration. Treatment with amifostine significantly restored energy metabolism and activated SIRT1, which in turn activated AMPK. The activation of AMPK was required to mediate the effects of amifostine on mitochondrial homeostasis and pulmonary fibrosis. This study provides evidence that repurposing of the clinically used drug amifostine may have therapeutic applications for IPF treatment. CONCLUSION Amifostine inhibits bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis by restoring mitochondrial function and cellular metabolism.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Neuroimaging studies have revealed the role of the right dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) in the neurobiological mechanism of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). However, only a few studies have examined the functional connectivity (FC) pattern of the right DLPFC at rest in OCD. OBJECTIVE The aim of this research is to examine the FC patterns of the right DLPFC at rest in OCD. METHODS Twenty-eight medication-free patients with OCD and 20 healthy controls underwent resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging. Seed-based FC and support vector machine (SVM) were used to analyze the imaging data. RESULTS The patients with OCD showed reduced FC values in the right middle temporal gyrus (MTG), right superior temporal gyrus, right ventral anterior cingulate cortex (vACC), and left Crus II. No brain regions showed a remarkable difference in FC values in patients with OCD after 8 weeks of medication treatment. The reduced right DLPFC-right MTG and right DLPFC-right vACC connectivities were correlated with the clinical symptoms of OCD. SVM results showed that reduced right DLPFC-right MTG connectivity at rest could predict the therapeutic response to OCD medication. CONCLUSIONS The findings highlight the important role of the right DLPFC in the pathophysiological mechanism of OCD.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Population aging might increase the prevalence of undernutrition in older people, which increases the risk of frailty. Numerous studies have indicated that myokines are released by skeletal myocytes in response to muscular contractions and might be associated with frailty. This study aimed to evaluate whether myokines are biomarkers of frailty in older inpatients with undernutrition. METHODS The frailty biomarkers were extracted from the Gene Expression Omnibus and Genecards datasets. Relevant myokines and health-related variables were assessed in 55 inpatients aged ≥ 65 years from the Peking Union Medical College Hospital prospective longitudinal frailty study. Serum was prepared for enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay using the appropriate kits. Correlations between biomarkers and frailty status were calculated by Spearman's correlation analysis. Multiple linear regression was performed to investigate the association between factors and frailty scores. RESULTS The prevalence of frailty was 13.21%. The bioinformatics analysis indicated that leptin, adenosine 5'-monophosphate-activated protein kinase (AMPK), irisin, decorin, and myostatin were potential biomarkers of frailty. The frailty group had significantly higher concentrations of leptin, AMPK, and MSTN than the robust group (p < 0.05). AMPK was significantly positively correlated with frailty (p < 0.05). The pre-frailty and frailty groups had significantly lower concentrations of irisin than the robust group (p < 0.05), whereas the DCN concentration did not differ among the groups. Multiple linear regression suggested that the 15 factors influencing the coefficients of association, the top 50% were the ADL score, MNA-SF score, serum albumin concentration, urination function, hearing function, leptin concentration, GDS-15 score, and MSTN concentration. CONCLUSIONS Proinflammatory myokines, particularly leptin, myostatin, and AMPK, negatively affect muscle mass and strength in older adults. ADL and nutritional status play major roles in the development of frailty. Our results confirm that identification of frailty relies upon clinical variables, myokine concentrations, and functional parameters, which might enable the identification and monitoring of frailty.

Abstract
Maize has become one of the most widely grown grains in the world, and the stay-green mutant allows these plants to maintain their green leaves and photosynthetic potential for longer following anthesis than in non-mutated plants. As a result, stay-green plants have a higher production rate than non-stay-green varieties due to their prolonged grain-filling period. In this study, the candidate genes related to the visual stay-green at the maturation stage of maize were investigated. The F2 population was derived from the T01 (stay-green) and the Xin3 (non-stay-green) cross. Two bulked segregant analysis pools were constructed. According to the method of combining ED (Euclidean distance), Ridit (relative to an identified distribution unit), SmoothG, and SNP algorithms, a region containing 778 genes on chromosome 9 was recognized as the candidate region associated with the visual stay-green in maize. A total of eight modules were identified using WGCNA (weighted correlation network analysis), of which green, brown, pink, and salmon modules were significantly correlated with visual stay-green. BSA, combined with the annotation function, discovered 7 potential candidate genes, while WGCNA discovered 11 stay-green potential candidate genes. The candidate range was further reduced due through association analysis of BSA-seq and RNA-seq. We identified Zm00001eb378880, Zm00001eb383680, and Zm00001eb384100 to be the most likely candidate genes. Our results provide valuable insights into this new germplasm resource with reference to increasing the yield for maize.

Abstract
Acute exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD) is the exacerbation of a range of respiratory symptoms during the stable phase of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). AECOPD is thus a dangerous stage and key event in the course of COPD, as its deterioration and frequency seriously affects the quality of life of patients and shortens their survival. Acute exacerbations occur and develop due to many factors such as infection, tobacco smoke inhalation, air pollution, comorbidities, airflow limitation, various biomarkers, history of previous deterioration, natural killer cell abnormalities, immunoglobulin G deficiency, genetics, abnormal muscle and nutritional status, negative psychology, and seasonal temperature changes. There is relatively limited research on the impact of the role of standardized management on the alleviation of AECOPD. However, with the establishment of relevant prevention and management systems and the promotion of artificial intelligence technology and Internet medical approaches, long-term effective and standardized management of COPD patients may help to achieve the quality of life and disease prognosis in COPD patients and reduce the risk of AE.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Anomalies in regional homogeneity (ReHo) have been documented in patients with major depressive disorder (MDD) and sleep disturbances (SDs). This investigation aimed to scrutinize changes in ReHo in MDD patients with comorbid SD, and to devise potential diagnostic biomarkers for detecting sleep-related conditions in patients with MDD. METHODS Patients with MDD and healthy controls underwent resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging scans. SD severity was quantified using the 17-item Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression. Subsequent to the acquisition of imaging data, ReHo analysis was performed, and a support vector machine (SVM) method was employed to assess the utility of ReHo in discriminating MDD patients with SD. RESULTS Compared with MDD patients without SD, MDD patients with SD exhibited increased ReHo values in the right posterior cingulate cortex (PCC)/precuneus, right median cingulate cortex, left postcentral gyrus (postCG), and right inferior temporal gyrus (ITG). Furthermore, the ReHo values in the right PCC/precuneus and ITG displayed a positive correlation with clinical symptoms across all patients. SVM classification results showed that a combination of abnormal ReHo in the left postCG and right ITG achieved an overall accuracy of 84.21%, a sensitivity of 81.82%, and a specificity of 87.50% in identifying MDD patients with SD from those without SD. CONCLUSION We identified disrupted ReHo patterns in MDD patients with SD, and presented a prospective neuroimaging-based diagnostic biomarker for these patients.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Preeclampsia (PE) is a multisystemic disorder attributed to the excessive presentation of placenta-derived immunoinflammatory factors. PTEN-induced putative kinase 1 (PINK1)-mediated mitophagy participates in the development and persistence of the inflammation. We hypothesized that dysregulated mitophagy might be involved in the pathogenesis of PE by promoting the activation of trophoblast pyroptosis that augment inflammation. METHODS The morphology of mitochondrial in placenta were observed by transmission electron microscopy. The localization of PINK1 in the placenta was determined by immunohistochemistry. The expression levels of PINK1, PARKIN, LC3B, and SQSTM1 and pyroptosis-related molecules were compared between normal pregnancies and PE. We used hypoxia/reoxygenation (H/R) to stimulate the trophoblast hypoxia environment. HTR-8/SVneo cells were transfected with PINK1 plasmid and si-PINK1, respectively, and then were treated with H/R, to determine whether PINK1 regulated ROS and HTR-8/Svneo pyroptosis. Finally, ROS production was inhibited by MitoTEMPO to observe whether the pro-pyroptosis effect of PINK1 knockdown is alleviated. RESULTS Swollen mitochondrial were accumulated in the PE placentae. PINK1 is localized on villus trophoblast (VTs) and extravillous trophoblast (EVTs). PINK1-mediated mitophagy was abolished in the PE placenta, while the levels of pyroptosis were induced. H/R stimulation aggravated the downregulation of mitophagy and the up-regulation of pyroptosis. Overexpression of PINK1 mitigated H/R-induced upregulation of ROS and pyroptosis while silencing PINK1 did the opposite. Reducing ROS production can effectively resist the pro-pyroptosis effect of PINK1 knockdown. DISCUSSION This study demonstrated that PINK1-mediated mitophagy might played a protective role in PE by reducing ROS and trophoblast pyroptosis.

Abstract
Src homology-2 domain-containing protein tyrosine phosphatase-2 (SHP2) is a key regulatory factor in the cell cycle and its activating mutations play an important role in the development of various cancers, making it an important target for antitumor drugs. Due to the highly conserved amino acid sequence and positively charged nature of the active site of SHP2, it is difficult to discover inhibitors with high affinity for the catalytic site of SHP2 and sufficient cell permeability, making it considered an "undruggable" target. However, the discovery of allosteric regulation mechanisms provides new opportunities for transforming undruggable targets into druggable ones. Given the limitations of orthosteric inhibitors, SHP2 allosteric inhibitors have become a more selective and safer research direction. In this review, we elucidate the oncogenic mechanism of SHP2 and summarize the discovery methods of SHP2 allosteric inhibitors, providing new strategies for the design and improvement of SHP2 allosteric inhibitors.

Abstract
Resistance to endocrine therapy represents a major concern for patients with estrogen receptor α-positive (ERα+) breast cancer. Endocrine therapy resistance is commonly mediated by activated E2F signaling. A better understanding of the mechanisms governing E2F1 activity in resistant cells could reveal strategies for overcoming resistance. Here, we identified the long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) actin gamma 1 pseudogene 25 (AGPG) as a regulator of E2F1 activity in endocrine-resistant breast cancer. Expression of AGPG was increased in endocrine-resistant breast cancer cells, which was driven by epigenomic activation of an enhancer. AGPG was also abnormally upregulated in patient breast tumors, especially in the luminal B subtype, and high AGPG expression was associated with poor survival of patients with ERα+ breast cancer receiving endocrine therapy. The upregulation of AGPG mediated resistance to endocrine therapy and cyclin-dependent kinase 4/6 inhibition in breast cancer cells. Mechanistically, AGPG physically interacted with PURα, thus releasing E2F1 from PURα and leading to E2F1 signaling activation in ERα+ breast cancer cells. In patients with breast cancer, E2F1 target genes were positively and negatively correlated with expression of AGPG and PURα, respectively. Coadministration of chemically modified AGPG siRNA and tamoxifen strongly suppressed tumor growth in endocrine-resistant cell line-derived xenografts. Together, these results demonstrate that AGPG can drive endocrine therapy resistance and indicate that it is a promising biomarker and potential therapeutic target in breast cancer. SIGNIFICANCE Blockade of formation of the PURα/E2F1 complex by lncRNA AGPG activates E2F1 and promotes endocrine resistance, providing potential strategies for combatting endocrine-resistant breast cancer.

Abstract
Stable Zn anodes with a high utilization efficiency pose a challenge due to notorious dendrite growth and severe side reactions. Therefore, electrolyte additives are developed to address these issues. However, the additives are always consumed by the electrochemical reactions over cycling, affecting the cycling stability. Here, hexamethylphosphoric triamide (HMPA) is reported as an electrolyte additive for achieving stable cycling of Zn anodes. HMPA reshapes the solvation structures and promotes anion decomposition, leading to the in situ formation of inorganic-rich solid-electrolyte-interphase. More interestingly, this anion decomposition does not involve HMPA, preserving its long-term impact on the electrolyte. Thus, the symmetric cells with HMPA in the electrolyte survive ≈500 h at 10 mA cm-2 for 10 mAh cm-2 or ≈200 h at 40 mA cm-2 for 10 mAh cm-2 with a Zn utilization rate of 85.6 %. The full cells of Zn||V2 O5 exhibit a record-high cumulative capacity even under a lean electrolyte condition (E/C ratio=12 μL mAh-1 ), a limited Zn supply (N/P ratio=1.8) and a high areal capacity (6.6 mAh cm-2 ).

Abstract
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE Age is identified as a significant prognostic factor for poorer outcome after stroke. However, environmental enrichment (EE) has been reported to promote functional recovery after ischemic stroke. The purpose of this study was to investigate whether environmental enrichment was beneficial to ischemic stroke in aged rats. METHODS Aged rats were randomly assigned as control rats, rats subjected to cerebral ischemia, and rats with cerebral ischemia treated with EE for 30 days. Focal cortical ischemia was induced by intracranial injection of endothelin-1 (ET-1). EE housing began one day after focal ischemia and was maintained for the whole experimental period. We used immunofluorescence staining to analyze the neurogenesis in the subventricular zone (SVZ) and TdT-mediated dUTP-biotin nick-end labeling (TUNEL) assay to evaluate apoptosis. The expression of neuronal nuclei, glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) and Iba-1 around the infarcted area were also measured by double immunohistochemistry. RESULTS EE enhanced the proliferation of newborn neurons in the SVZ, as well as increased the long-term survival of newborn neurons. EE also exerted effects on inflammation after stroke. Furthermore, EE suppressed apoptosis and improved the motor functions after stroke in the aged rats. CONCLUSIONS EE improved post-stroke recovery on the basis of enhancing neurogenesis in aged rats.

Abstract
Introduction Inflammatory cell infiltration is a novel hallmark of diabetic kidney disease (DKD), in part, by activated macrophages. Macrophage-to-tubular epithelial cell communication may play an important role in renal fibrosis. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) have been reported in the pathogenesis of various human diseases involving macrophages activation, including DKD. However, the exact mechanism of circRNAs in macrophage infiltration and renal fibrosis of DKD remains obscure. Methods In our study, a novel circRNA circUBXN7 was identified in DKD patients using microarray. The function of circUBXN7 in vitro and in vivo was investigated by qRT-PCR, western blot, and immunofluorescence. Finally, a dual-luciferase reporter assay, ChIP, RNA pull-down, RNA immunoprecipitation and rescue experiments were performed to investigate the mechanism of circUBXN7. Results We demonstrated that the expression of circUBXN7 was significantly upregulated in the plasma of DKD patients and correlated with renal function, which might serve as an independent biomarker for DKD patients. According to investigations, ectopic expression of circUBXN7 promoted macrophage activation, EMT and fibrosis in vitro, and increased macrophage infiltration, EMT, fibrosis and proteinuria in vivo. Mechanistically, circUBXN7 was transcriptionally upregulated by transcription factor SP1 and could reciprocally promote SP1 mRNA stability and activation via directly binding to the m6A-reader IGF2BP2 in DKD. Conclusion CircUBXN7 is highly expressed in DKD patients may provide the potential biomarker and therapeutic target for DKD.

Further investigation on the roots of Aconitum weixiense led to the isolation of two new bis-diterpenoid alkaloids, named as weisaconitines E and F (1-2), which were elucidated by IR, HR-ESI-MS, 1D- and 2D-NMR analyses. Their structures are characterized as denudatine-atisine-type bis-diterpenoid alkaloids.

Abstract
Extracellular vesicles (EVs) play an important role in human and bovine milk composition. According to excellent published studies, it also exerts various functions in the gut, bone, or immune system. However, the effects of milk-derived EVs on skeletal muscle growth and performance have yet to be fully explored. Firstly, the current study examined the amino acids profile in human milk EVs (HME) and bovine milk EVs (BME) using targeted metabolomics. Secondly, HME and BME were injected in the quadriceps of mice for four weeks (1 time/3 days). Then, related muscle performance, muscle growth markers/pathways, and amino acids profile were detected or measured by grip strength analysis, rotarod performance testing, Jenner-Giemsa/H&E staining, Western blotting, and targeted metabolomics, respectively. Finally, HME and BME were co-cultured with C2C12 cells to detect the above-related indexes and further testify relative phenomena. Our findings mainly demonstrated that HME and BME significantly increase the diameter of C2C12 myotubes. HME treatment demonstrates higher exercise performance and muscle fiber densities than BME treatment. Besides, after KEGG and correlation analyses with biological function after HME and BME treatment, results showed L-Ornithine acts as a "notable marker" after HME treatment to affect mouse skeletal muscle growth or functions. Otherwise, L-Ornithine also significantly positively correlates with the activation of the AKT/mTOR pathway and myogenic regulatory factors (MRFs) and can also be observed in muscle and C2C12 cells after HME treatment. Overall, our study not only provides a novel result for the amino acid composition of HME and BME, but the current study also indicates the advantage of human milk on skeletal muscle growth and performance.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The global aim to lower preterm birth rates has been hampered by the insufficient and incomplete understanding of its etiology, classification, and diagnosis. This study was designed to evaluate the association of phenotypically classified preterm syndromes with neonatal outcomes; to what extent would these outcomes be modified after the obstetric interventions, including use of glucocorticoid, magnesium sulfate, and progesterone. METHODS This was a retrospective cohort study conducted at Tongji Hospital (composed of Main Branch, Optical Valley Branch and Sino-French New City Branch) in Wuhan. A total of 900 pregnant women and 1064 neonates were retrospectively enrolled. The outcomes were the distribution of different phenotypes among parturition signs and pathway to delivery, the association of phenotypically classified clusters with short-term unfavorable neonatal outcomes, and to what extent these outcomes could be modified by obstetric interventions. RESULTS Eight clusters were identified using two-step cluster analysis, including premature rupture of fetal membranes (PPROM) phenotype, abnormal amniotic fluid (AF) phenotype, placenta previa phenotype, mixed condition phenotype, fetal distress phenotype, preeclampsia-eclampsia & hemolysis, elevated liver enzymes, and low platelets syndrome (PE-E&HELLP) phenotype, multiple fetus phenotype, and no main condition phenotype. Except for no main condition phenotype, the other phenotypes were associated with one or more complications, which conforms to the clinical practice. Compared with no main condition phenotype, some phenotypes were significantly associated with short-term adverse neonatal outcomes. Abnormal AF phenotype, mixed condition phenotype, PE-E&HELLP phenotype, and multiple fetus phenotype were risk factors for neonatal small-for gestation age (SGA); placenta previa phenotype was not associated with adverse outcomes except low APGAR score being 0-7 at one min; mixed condition phenotype was associated with low APGAR scores, SGA, mechanical ventilation, and grade HI-W intraventricular hemorrhage (IVH); fetal distress phenotype was frequently associated with neonatal SGA and mechanical ventilation; PE-E&HELLP phenotype was correlated with low APGAR score being 0-7 at one min, SGA and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) admission; multiple fetus phenotype was not a risk factor for the outcomes included except for SGA. Not all neonates benefited from obstetric interventions included in this study. CONCLUSION Our research disclosed the independent risk of different preterm phenotypes for adverse pregnancy outcomes. This study is devoted to putting forward the paradigm of classifying preterm birth phenotypically, with the ultimate purpose of defining preterm phenotypes based on multi-center studies and diving into the underlying mechanisms.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES This study aimed to establish a scoring model for the differential diagnosis of white coat hypertension (WCH) and sustained hypertension (SHT). METHODS This study comprised 553 adults with elevated office blood pressure, normal renal function, and no antihypertensive medications. Through questionnaire investigation and biochemical detection, 17 parameters, such as gender and age, were acquired. WCH and SHT were distinguished by 24 h ambulatory blood pressure monitoring. The participants were randomly divided into a training set (445 cases) and a validation set (108 cases). The above parameters were screened using least absolute shrinkage and selection operator regression and univariate logistic regression analysis in the training set. Afterward, a scoring model was constructed through multivariate logistic regression analysis. RESULTS Finally, six parameters were selected, including isolated systolic hypertension, office systolic blood pressure, office diastolic blood pressure, triglyceride, serum creatinine, and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Multivariate logistic regression was used to establish a scoring model. The R2 and area under the ROC curve (AUC) of the scoring model in the training set were 0.163 and 0.705, respectively. In the validation set, the R2 of the scoring model was 0.206, and AUC was 0.718. The calibration test results revealed that the scoring model had good stability in both the training and validation sets (mean square error = 0.001, mean absolute error = 0.014; mean square error = 0.001, mean absolute error = 0.025). CONCLUSION A stable scoring model for distinguishing WCH was established, which can assist clinicians in identifying WCH at the first diagnosis.

Abstract
PURPOSE To explore transcriptome and immunological features of patients with Ewing sarcoma (ES) using all publicly available microarray data. METHODS Data of 479 ES tissues were integrated and normalized. Gene expression, immune infiltration, and cancer-specific pathways were analyzed. Genes of interest were knocked down, followed by cell proliferation and colony formation assays. RESULTS Consistent with the previous reports of differential expressed genes (DEGs) in ES, our analysis identified CCND1, HMCN1, and NKX2-2 were among the most highly expressed, while TWNC1, MYBPC1, and CKM were among the lowest expressed genes. GO, KEGG, and GSEA enrichment analysis identified that the DEGs related to bone and muscle functioning, those that contributed to crucial cellular, and metabolism pathways such as actin binding, apoptosis, TCA cycle, and cell cycle were also significantly enriched. Immune infiltration analysis discovered that many T cell subsets including CD4T, CD8 T, and Gamma delta T cells were highly infiltrated, while monocytes and B cells were less infiltrated in tumors. A total of 138 genes were both significantly up-regulated in tumors and associated with decreased survival, while 38 significantly down-regulated genes were associated with increased survival, many of which were previously reported as oncogenes and tumor suppressors in ES and other cancers. Silencing of four newly identified top ranked up-regulated genes with decreased survivals in ES inhibited proliferation and colony formation of ES cells. CONCLUSION This study may provide a clear representative transcriptome profile of ES, providing diagnostic biomarkers, pathways, and immune infiltrative characteristics targets for ES.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Triple negative breast cancer (TNBC), the most aggressive subtype of breast cancer, is characterized by a high incidence of brain metastasis (BrM) and a poor prognosis. As the most lethal form of breast cancer, BrM remains a major clinical challenge due to its rising incidence and lack of effective treatment strategies. Recent evidence suggested a potential role of lipid metabolic reprogramming in breast cancer brain metastasis (BCBrM), but the underlying mechanisms are far from being fully elucidated. METHODS Through analysis of BCBrM transcriptome data from mice and patients, and immunohistochemical validation on patient tissues, we identified and verified the specific down-regulation of retinoic acid receptor responder 2 (RARRES2), a multifunctional adipokine and chemokine, in BrM of TNBC. We investigated the effect of aberrant RARRES2 expression of BrM in both in vitro and in vivo studies. Key signaling pathway components were evaluated using multi-omics approaches. Lipidomics were performed to elucidate the regulation of lipid metabolic reprogramming of RARRES2. RESULTS We found that down-regulation of RARRES2 is specifically associated with BCBrM, and that RARRES2 deficiency promoted BCBrM through lipid metabolic reprogramming. Mechanistically, reduced expression of RARRES2 in brain metastatic potential TNBC cells resulted in increased levels of glycerophospholipid and decreased levels of triacylglycerols by regulating phosphatase and tensin homologue (PTEN)-mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR)-sterol regulatory element-binding protein 1 (SREBP1) signaling pathway to facilitate the survival of breast cancer cells in the unique brain microenvironment. CONCLUSIONS Our work uncovers an essential role of RARRES2 in linking lipid metabolic reprogramming and the development of BrM. RARRES2-dependent metabolic functions may serve as potential biomarkers or therapeutic targets for BCBrM.

Abstract
Bi2Sr2Co2Oy thin films were grown on 10° vicinal-cut Al2O3 (0001) single crystalline substrates by pulsed laser-deposition techniques with in situ annealing, post-annealing and non-annealing process, respectively. The pure phase Bi2Sr2Co2Oy thin film was obtained with a non-annealing process. The result of X-ray diffraction showed that Bi2Sr2Co2Oy thin film was obviously c-axis preferred orientation. The laser-induced thermoelectric voltage signals were detected in Bi2Sr2Co2Oy thin films, which originated from the anisotropy of the Seebeck coefficient. The maximum peak value of laser-induced thermoelectric voltage was strong and could reach as large as 0.44 V and the response time was 1.07 μs when the deposition time was 6 min. Furthermore, the peak voltage enhanced linearly with the single-pulse laser energy. These characteristics demonstrate that Bi2Sr2Co2Oy thin film is also an excellent choice for laser energy/power detectors.

Abstract
The study aimed to investigate the relationship between the respiratory quotient (RQ), measured by the central venous-arterial carbon dioxide partial pressure difference/arterial-venous oxygenation difference ratio, and the early remission of multi-organ failure (MOF) in sepsis patients with hyperlactatemia. The study observed 49 septic patients with hyperlactatemia in the ICU, obtaining blood samples before and after resuscitation, and dividing the patients into two groups depending on whether the modified Sequential Organ Failure Assessment score improved after 24 hours of treatment. Results showed that lactate clearance was faster and the rate of change in RQ was higher in the improved group than in the unimproved group. Further analysis showed that an RQ ≤0.198 mmHg/mL/L or a change of ≥30.71% in RQ after 24 hours of resuscitation was associated with early improvement in MOF. In conclusion, changes in RQ were associated with early improvement in MOF in septic patients with hyperlactatemia, suggesting that RQ could be used as a potential marker for predicting early remission and guiding clinical interventions.

Abstract
Cell electroporation is an important cell manipulation technology to artificially transfer specific extracellular components into cells. However, the consistency of substance transport during the electroporation process is still an issue due to the wide size distribution of the natural cells. In this study, a cell electroporation microfluidic chip based on a microtrap array is proposed. The microtrap structure was optimized for single-cell capture and electric field focusing. The effects of the cell size on the cell electroporation in the microchip were investigated through simulation and experiment methods using the giant unilamellar vesicle as the simplified cell model, and a numerical model of a uniform electric field was used as a comparison. Compared with the uniform electric field, a lower threshold electric field is required to induce electroporation and produces a higher transmembrane voltage on the cell under a specific electric field in the microchip, showing an improvement in cell viability and electroporation efficiency. The larger perforated area produced on the cells in the microchip under a specific electric field allows a higher substance transfer efficiency, and the electroporation results are less affected by the cell size, which is beneficial for improving substance transfer consistency. Furthermore, the relative perforation area increases with the decrease of the cell diameter in the microchip, which is exactly opposite to that in a uniform electric field. By manipulating the electric field applied to the microtrap individually, a consistent proportion of substance transfer during electroporation of cells with different sizes can be achieved.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Although recent research suggests that alterations in gut microbiota and metabolites play a critical role in the pathophysiology of immunoglobulin A nephropathy (IgAN), the causal relationship between specific intestinal flora and metabolites and the risk of IgAN remains unclear. METHOD This study employed Mendelian randomization (MR) to investigate the causal association between gut microbiota and IgAN. To explore potential associations between gut microbiota and various outcomes, four MR methods were applied: inverse variance weighted (IVW), MR-Egger, weighted median, and weighted mode. If the results of the four methods are inconclusive, we prefer the IVW as the primary outcome. Additionally, MR-Egger, MR-PRESSO-Global, and Cochrane's Q tests were used to detect heterogeneity and pleiotropy. The stability of MR findings was assessed using the leave-one-out approach, and the strength of the causal relationship between exposure and outcome was tested using Bonferroni correction. Additional clinical samples were utilized to validate the results of Mendelian randomization, and the outcomes were visualized through an ROC curve, confusion matrix, and correlation analysis. RESULT This study examined a total of 15 metabolites and 211 microorganisms. Among them, eight bacteria and one metabolite were found to be associated with the risk of IgAN (p < 0.05). The Bonferroni-corrected test reveals that only Class. Actinobacteria (OR: 1.20, 95% CI: 1.07-1.36, p = 0.0029) have a significant causal relationship with IgAN. According to Cochrane's Q test, there is no substantial heterogeneity across different single-nucleotide polymorphisms (p > 0.05). Furthermore, MR-Egger and MR-PRESSO-Global tests (p > 0.05) showed no evidence of pleiotropy. No reverse causal association was found between the risk of IgAN and microbiota or metabolites (p > 0.05). Clinical specimens demonstrated the effectiveness and accuracy of Actinobacteria in distinguishing IgAN patients from those with other glomerular diseases (AUC = 0.9, 95% CI: 0.78-1.00). Additionally, our correlation analysis revealed a potential association between Actinobacteria abundance and increased albuminuria (r = 0.85) and poorer prognosis in IgAN patients (p = 0.01). CONCLUSION Through MR analysis, we established a causal link between Actinobacteria and the incidence of IgAN. Moreover, clinical validation using fecal samples indicated that Actinobacteria might be associated with the onset and poorer prognosis of IgAN. This finding could provide valuable biomarkers for early, noninvasive detection of the disease and potential therapeutic targets in IgAN.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Previous studies discovered the presence of abnormal structures and functions in the brain regions of patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Nevertheless, whether structural changes in brain regions are coupled with alterations in dynamic functional connectivity (dFC) at rest in medicine-free patients with OCD remains vague. METHODS Three-dimensional T1-weighed magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and resting-state functional MRI were performed on 50 medicine-free OCD and 50 healthy controls (HCs). Firstly, the differences in gray matter volume (GMV) between OCD and HCs were compared. Then, brain regions with aberrant GMV were used as seeds for dFC analysis. The relationship of altered GMV and dFC with clinical parameters in OCD was explored using partial correlation analysis. Finally, support vector machine was applied to examine whether altered multimodal imaging data might be adopted to distinguish OCD from HCs. RESULTS Our findings indicated that GMV in the left superior temporal gyrus (STG) and right supplementary motor area (SMA) was reduced in OCD, and the dFC between the left STG and the left cerebellum Crus I and left thalamus, and between the right SMA and right dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) and left precuneus was decreased at rest in OCD. The brain regions both with altered GMV and dFC values could discriminate OCD from HCs with the accuracy of 0.85, sensitivity of 0.90 and specificity of 0.80. CONCLUSION The decreased gray matter structure coupling with dynamic function in the left STG and right SMA at rest may be crucial in the pathophysiology of OCD. Abstract
AIMS Inflammatory biomarkers, including CRP, the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), and the neutrophil-to-eosinophil ratio (NER), may predict outcomes in cancer. However, their value in immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) therapy-associated cardiotoxicity remains elusive. We aimed to characterize the relationship of inflammatory markers with severity of ICI-related cardiotoxicities (iRCs) and prognosis among patients with iRCs. METHODS Patients who were diagnosed with iRCs between January 2019 and December 2021 were retrospectively enrolled and were dichotomized based on iRC severity into low-grade (grade 1-2) vs. high-grade (grade 3-4) groups. RESULTS Forty-seven patients were included. The median time-to-event from first ICI infusion to onset of iRCs was 35 days (IQR: 19.0-65.5 days). When compared with respective baseline values, cardiac biomarkers and inflammatory markers were significantly elevated at onset of iRCs. Compared with low-grade iRCs, NER at iRC onset was significantly increased among patients with high-grade iRCs (Group × Time, P < 0.01). When grouped by the median NER (184.33) at iRC onset, NER ≥ 184.33 was associated with high-grade iRCs (OR: 10.77, P < 0.05) and had a 36.3% increased mortality compared to the lower NER group (HR: 2.67, P < 0.05). CONCLUSIONS In patients who develop iRCs, NER is significantly elevated at iRC onset, and higher NER correlates with greater iRC severity and higher mortality. Larger datasets are needed to validate these findings.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Lack of comprehending key factors of schizophrenia relapse has impeded its effective treatment, indicating that the mechanism clarification and available intervention of schizophrenia relapse required further amelioration. METHOD Based on the integration of LC-MS and 1H NMR metabolomics, a weighted correlation network was established to screen pivotal factors of accelerating schizophrenia relapse. Then, the cluster most correlated with schizophrenia relapse was explored, and the biological function of cluster was investigated. Next, the key biomarker related to schizophrenia relapse was obtained through multiple algorithms. Moreover, the Lilikoi algorithm and correlation analysis were implemented to reveal the association between key biomarker and schizophrenia relapse. RESULT Results showed that 458 different forms of metabolites were identified for structuring the weighted correlation network. The module-trait correlation indicated that the turquoise module was the most highly correlated with schizophrenia relapse. Further, network analysis revealed that, in turquoise module, cluster 1 composed of 139 metabolites (involved in lipid metabolism and energy metabolism) was the most important subnetwork relevant to schizophrenia relapse. Finally, phenylalanylphenylalanine was recommended as the key biomarker related to schizophrenia relapse. Moreover, the correlation analysis indicated that phenylalanylphenylalanine might affect the progression of schizophrenia by intervening in energy metabolism. CONCLUSION In summary, critical factors of schizophrenia relapse have been revealed in our research, expounding the schizophrenia progression more systemically, which could shed some light on improving the intervention of schizophrenia relapse.

Abstract
PURPOSE Patients with breast cancer are more likely to experience psychological distress than the general population. This study aimed to explore the relationship between depression and anxiety status measured before chemotherapy and adverse events during adjuvant chemotherapy in Chinese breast cancer patients. METHODS This prospective study was conducted on 290 postoperative early-stage breast cancer patients (response rate 96.7%) in China. Depression and anxiety status before adjuvant chemotherapy were assessed by the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS). Adverse events that occurred throughout the course of chemotherapy were graded and recorded according to Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events (CTCAE) 4.02. RESULTS The rates of depression and anxiety were 20.0% and 31.4%, respectively, at baseline. The incidence of grade two or higher myelosuppression induced by chemotherapy was correlated with depression before chemotherapy (p = 0.037). Multivariate analysis showed that the incidence of myelosuppression was significantly related to depression before chemotherapy (p = 0.032). There was no association between depression and anxiety status and other adverse events (p > 0.05). CONCLUSIONS We observed an association between depression status in breast cancer patients receiving adjuvant chemotherapy and chemotherapy-induced myelosuppression. Monitoring the depression status of breast cancer patients before chemotherapy may help to optimize the management of adverse events.

Abstract
Solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) on Zn anodes plays a pivotal role for high-rate and long-life aqueous batteries, because it effectively inhibits side reactions and dendritic growth. Many materials are explored as SEIs by a trial-and-error approach. Herein, an exercisable way is proposed to screen the potential SEIs on Zn anodes in view of dendrite-suppressing ability and charge-transfer property theoretically. As an output of this screening, Zn3 (BO3 )2 (ZBO) is checked experimentally. In symmetrical cells, Zn@ZBO runs over 250 h at an ultrahigh current density of 50 mA cm-2 for a large areal capacity 10 mAh cm-2 . In full cells, Zn@ZBO||MnO2 shows an impressive cumulative capacity (≈406 mAh cm-2 ) under harsh conditions, i.e., a lean electrolyte condition (10 µL mAh-1 ), limited Zn supply (negative/positive electrode capacity ratio, N/P ratio = 2.3), and high areal capacity (5.0 mAh cm-2 ). The significance of this work lies in not only the first report of ZBO on Zn showing excellent electrochemical performance, but also a feasible way to screen the promising SEI materials for other metal anodes.

Abstract
Background Breast cancer (BRCA) is the most common malignant tumor that seriously threatens the health of women worldwide. Senescence has been suggested as a pivotal player in the onset and progression of tumors as well as the process of treatment resistance. However, the role of senescence in BRCA remains unelucidated. Methods The clinical and transcriptomic data of 2994 patients with BRCA were obtained from The Cancer Genome Atlas and the METABRIC databases. Consensus clustering revealed senescence-associated subtypes of BRCA patients. Functional enrichment analysis explored biological effect of senescence. We then applied weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA) and LASSO regression to construct a senescence scoring model, Sindex. Survival analysis validated the effectiveness of Sindex to predict the overall survival (OS) of patients with BRCA. A nomogram was constructed by multivariate Cox regression. We used Oncopredict algorithm and real-world data from clinical trials to explore the value of Sindex in predicting response to cancer therapy. Results We identified two distinct senescence-associated subtypes, noted low senescence CC1 and high senescence CC2. Survival analysis revealed worse OS associated with high senescence, which was also validated with patient samples from the National Cancer Center in China. Further analysis revealed extensively cell division and suppression of extracellular matrix process, along with lower stromal and immune scores in the high senescence CC2. We then constructed a 37 signature gene scoring model, Sindex, with robust predictive capability in patients with BRCA, especially for long time OS beyond 10 years. We demonstrated that the Sene-high subtype was resistant to CDK inhibitors but sensitive to proteosome inhibitors, and there was no significant difference in paclitaxel chemotherapy and immunotherapy between patients with different senescence statuses. Conclusions We reported senescence as a previously uncharacterized hallmark of BRCA that impacts patient outcomes and therapeutic response. Our analysis demonstrated that the Sindex can be used to identify not only patients at different risk levels for the OS but also patients who would benefit from some cancer therapeutic drugs.

Abstract
Anxiety and depression can negatively affect the management of asthma. The study aimed to assess the psychosocial effects of asthma patients during COVID-19 and analyze potential risk factors and interventions.In June 2022, the "Questionnaire Star" electronic questionnaire system was used to collect data. A total of 98 asthma patients from the affiliated hospital of the medical school of Ningbo University were invited to complete the questionnaires. According to our study, the prevalence of symptoms of anxiety and depression in the asthma patients in the institution was 91.8 and 77.6%, respectively. Patients who had an asthma exacerbation in the previous two months were more likely to have anxiety symptoms (OR = 0.142 95%CI 0.025-0.820), while patients who did not participate in asthma day activities were more likely to have anxiety symptoms than those who did (OR = 0.130 95%CI 0.022-0.762).This study found that routine disease educational lectures on asthma day can successfully alleviate asthma sufferers' anxiety and depression.

Abstract
Zn metal as one of promising anode materials for aqueous batteries suffers from notorious dendrite growth, serious Zn corrosion and hydrogen evolution. Here, a bifunctional electrolyte additive, N-methyl pyrrolidone (NMP), is developed to improve the electrochemical performance of Zn anode. NMP not only alters the solvation structure of Zn2+ , but also in situ produces a dense N-rich solid-electrolyte-interphase layer on Zn foils. This layer protects Zn foils from corrosive electrolytes and benefits the uniform plating/stripping of Zn. Hence, the asymmetrical cells with NMP in the electrolyte retain a high coulombic efficiency of 99.8 % over 1000 cycles. The symmetric cells survive ≈200 h for 10 mAh cm-2 at a high Zn utilization of 85.6 %. The full cells of Zn||MnO2 show an impressive cumulative capacity even with lean electrolyte (E/C ratio=10 μL mAh-1 ), limited Zn supply (N/P ratio=2.3) and high areal capacity (5.0 mAh cm-2 ).

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Online healthcare platform (OHP) is a new form of medical treatment that solves the problems of an unbalanced distribution of medical resources in China. Especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, OHP has greatly reduced the medical pressure of the hospital and the risk of cross-infection. METHODS Based on self-determination theory (SDT) (Ryan and Deci, 2000), privacy calculus theory (PCT) (Culnan, 1999) and perceived value theory (PVT) (Choi, 2004), this study uses evolutionary game theory to analyze behavioral strategies and their dynamic evolution in the promotion of OHP. Moreover, we conduct numerical simulations with the help of program compilation. RESULTS The results demonstrate that (1) both the qualification inspection of doctors and the investment in information protection influence doctors' participation in and patients' usage of OHP; (2) both the initial probabilities of doctor participation and patient usage influence the multi-game results; (3) the trend of doctors joining OHP is affected by registration cost, time cost, and reputation loss; and (4) the trend of patients using online healthcare is mainly decided by the cost. CONCLUSION This study takes the Spring Rain Doctor as an example to verify the game results. To further popularize online medical treatment among patients, the platform should attach importance to the inspection of doctors and the protection of privacy information and strengthen its publicity in remote places.

Abstract
Soil contamination by heavy metals has become a prevalent topic due to their widespread release from industry, agriculture, and other human activities. Great progress has been made in elucidating the uptake and translocation of cadmium (Cd) accumulation in rice. However, there is still little known about corresponding progress in maize. In the current study, we performed a comparative RNA-Seq-based approach to identify differentially expressed genes (DEGs) of maize immature kernel related to Cd stress. In total, 55, 92, 22, and 542 DEGs responsive to high cadmium concentration soil were identified between XNY22-CHS-8 vs. XNY22-YA-8, XNY22-CHS-24 vs. XNY22-YA-24, XNY27-CHS-8 vs. XNY27-YA-8, and XNY27-CHS-24 vs. XNY27-YA-24, respectively. The weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA) categorized the 9599 Cd stress-responsive hub genes into 37 different gene network modules. Combining the hub genes and DEGs, we obtained 71 candidate genes. Gene Ontology (GO) enrichment analysis of genes in the greenyellow module in XNY27-YA-24 and connectivity genes of these 71 candidate hub genes showed that the responses to metal ion, inorganic substance, abiotic stimulus, hydrogen peroxide, oxidative stress, stimulus, and other processes were enrichment. Moreover, five candidate genes that were responsive to Cd stress in maize kernel were detected. These results provided the putative key genes and pathways to response to Cd stress in maize kernel, and a useful dataset for unraveling the underlying mechanism of Cd accumulation in maize kernel.

Abstract
Increasing studies have shown that circular RNAs (circRNAs) and microRNAs (miRNAs) are related to the development of endocrine and metabolic diseases. However, there are few reports on the expression of circRNAs and miRNAs and their related co-expression and the expression of competitive endogenous RNA (ceRNA) in diabetic chronic refractory wounds. In this study, we compared the differential expression of circRNAs and miRNAs in diabetes chronic refractory wounds and normal skin tissues by high-throughput gene sequencing, and screened the differentially expressed circRNAs and miRNAs. Five abnormally expressed circRNAs and seven abnormally expressed miRNAs were detected by reverse transcription quantitative polymerase chain reaction PCR (RT-qPCR)to verify the results of RNA sequencing. We applied gene ontology (GO) to enrich and analyze dysregulated genes and elucidated their main functions via the Kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes analysis (KEGG). We constructed coding noncoding gene co-expression networks and ceRNA networks based on significantly abnormally expressed genes. According to the results of coding noncoding gene co-expression network analysis, hsa_circRNA_104175, hsa_circRNA_ 001588, hsa_circRNA_104330, hsa_circRNA_ 100141, hsa_circRNA_103107, and hsa_ circRNA_102044 may be involved in the regulation of the chronic intractable wound healing process in diabetes mellitus. This is particularly true in the regulation of vascular smooth muscle contraction-related pathways and the actin cytoskeleton, which affect the healing of chronic intractable wounds in diabetes. MiR-223-5p, miR-514a-3p, miR-205-5p, and miR-203-3p, which each have a targeting relationship with the above circRNAs, regulate the metabolism of nitrogen compounds in wound tissue by regulating NOD-like receptor signaling pathways, signaling pathways regulating the pluripotency of stem cells, microRNAs in cancer, and ECM-receptor interaction. This study showed circRNAs, miRNAs, and their network are associated with the development of chronic intractable wounds in diabetes, and our research identified the goals for new molecular biomarkers and gene therapy.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Brain functional abnormalities at rest have been observed in obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). However, whether and how anatomical distance influences functional connectivity (FC) at rest is ambiguous in OCD. METHODS Using resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging data, we calculated the FC of each voxel in the whole-brain and divided FC into short- and long-range FCs in 40 medicine-free patients with OCD and 40 healthy controls (HCs). A support vector machine (SVM) was used to determine whether the altered short- and long-range FCs could be utilized to distinguish OCD from HCs. RESULTS Patients had lower short-range positive FC (spFC) and long-range positive FC (lpFC) in the left precentral/postcentral gyrus (t = -5.57 and -5.43; P < 0.05, GRF corrected) and higher lpFC in the right thalamus/caudate, left thalamus, left inferior parietal lobule (IPL) and left cerebellum CrusI/VI (t = 4.59, 4.61, 4.41, and 5.93; P < 0.05, GRF corrected). Furthermore, lower spFC in the left precentral/postcentral gyrus might be used to distinguish OCD from HCs with an accuracy of 80.77%, a specificity of 81.58%, and a sensitivity of 80.00%. CONCLUSION These findings highlight that anatomical distance has an effect on the whole-brain FC patterns at rest in OCD. Meanwhile, lower spFC in the left precentral/postcentral gyrus might be applied in distinguishing OCD from HCs.

Abstract
The Ca2+-activated potassium (KCa) channels are involved in many cellular functions, but their roles in trophoblasts are unclear. This study aimed to clarify the effects of KCa channels on the biological behavior of trophoblasts. The localization and expression of the three types of KCa channels, including large-conductance KCa channels (BKCa), intermediate-conductance KCa channels (IKCa), and small-conductance KCa channels (SKCa), were detected in human chorionic villi taken from pregnant women between 5 and 8 weeks of gestation (n = 15) and HTR-8/SVneo cells. The effects of KCa channels on proliferation, apoptosis, and migration of HTR-8/SVneo cells were examined by using the activators or inhibitors of KCa channels. Results showed that KCa channels were mainly localized on the membrane and in the cytoplasm of trophoblasts in human chorionic villi and HTR-8/SVneo cells. The proliferation and migration of HTR-8/SVneo cells were inhibited by activating KCa channels. Apoptosis of trophoblasts was promoted through activating BKCa channels but was not affected by neither activating nor inhibiting IKCa and SKCa channels. This study substantiated the abovementioned biological roles of KCa channels in trophoblast cells, which is fundamental to further research on whether dysfunction of KCa channels is involved in the pathogenesis of pregnancy-related complications.
